Kartik Aaryan Roped in for Kabir Khan’s New Film, Shooting to Start in May 2023
Tumblr media
Kartik Aaryan, known for his splendid characterization in movies such as Pyaar ka Punchnama, Dhamaka, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and others will soon start shooting for his next film, none other than one directed by the fame of Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan by Kabir Khan. The shooting is set to begin in May 2023 and the Bollywood star is already looking ahead to it. The last directorial project ‘83’ by Kabir was about the heroes who brought the 1983 World Cup to home.
However, Kabir’s next movie is all about someone Indians do not know. The filmmaker was talking about the movie at an event and said that he has come to this fascinating true story. The storyline is about a living legend, an unknown hero, and not like the one renowned in his project ‘83’. What compelled him to bring out the story is that the people of the nation are not aware of this individual.
The surprise factor and driving force are how people let someone who did so much, just fade away. So, this will create excitement among the audience. He also said that the shooting for the movie will begin in May, and the casting of other characters is ongoing. It is most likely that Kartik Aaryan will play the lead. Presently, the actor is on a shoot for a romantic track in Kashmir for ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, his next project.
Kartik is supposedly beginning to prepare for Kabir Khan’s film once he returns from Kashmir and delves deep into the role. That being said, Satyaprem Ki Katha is going to release on 29 June, and will also start Kiara Advani.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Film Review
Full of Suspense!
Tumblr media
Image of Kartik Aaryan lead in the reviewed film Plot: This film is a sequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007). Bhool Bhulaiyaa is based on the story of Manjulika. The story spin throughout two sisters, Anjulika and Manjulika. It illustrates one sister's enviousness in relation to other. In a family where one sister igetting married, the other sister also adores her future husband. Will she be able to marry? Or will the other sister marry? Which sister is willing to make a sacrifice for whom? Watch the movie to find out. Tone and Theme: The tone of this film is horror comedy, with a theme of good and evil. The only motive of making it is to enthral. Acting and Characters: Kartik Aaryan delivers an outstanding performance as Ruhaan. His character written exceptionally well. He acted in a unique and humorous manner. He has played his role in a distinctive manner. Tabu's performance in the dual roles of Anjulika and Manjulika is brilliant, tremendous, and wonderful. Only Tabu could have played this role with complete honesty. This role in the story must written specifically for Tabu. What a role she has played with such patience; she considered one of the best actresses in the Hindi film industry and has worked beyond her ability to play the role of a ghost. She can receive awards for her acting. Kiara Advani's performance as Reet is also good. Her role was short, but she gave it her all no matter what. Rajpal Yadav as Chhote Pandit, Sanjay Mishra as Bade Pandit, and Ashwani Kalsekar as Panditain all deliver amusing performances. All three have delivered excellent performances. Amar Upadhyay as Uday Thakur and Milind Gunaji as Vijendra Thakur deliver balanced performances. Direction: The film is directed by Anees Bazmee, who has previously produced many successful films such as Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, Deewangi, Singh is King, Welcome, Welcome Back, and Mubarakan. This will be counted among his successful films; its direction is far superior to his previous films; it is difficult to believe that he will be able to bring this story to life on screen so beautifully; he has a very strong grip on the entire film from start to finish; he has forced the audience to sit on the edge of their seats by keeping many suspense scenes, and he has maintained their interest. Story-Screenplay-Akash Kaushik's is good; it moves at a slow pace for the first 30-35 minutes, but the screenplay is very strong; it was written after much thought. Dialogues: Farhad Samji and Akash Kaushik have written excellent dialogues that fit perfectly with each character. Music: Pritam and Tanishk Bagchi did an excellent job with some songs, including the title track, Hum Nashe Mein To Nahin, and Mere Dholna Sun. Background Score: Sandeep Shirodkar's is very scary; the audience feels connected to the film because of the background score; he has completely scared us. Cinematography: Manu Anand attempted to tell the story in a unique way by filming photography in the film; the coloring and lighting were also brilliantly done; the action sequences were also very well filmed; and the camera moments were filmed well in many scenes. Editing: Bunty Nagi has done it very cleanly; it's a little slow at first, but after 30-35 minutes, it picks up speed. And moves at the same pace until the end; the scenes are also timed to match the story. Choreography: Chinni Prakash, Rekha Prakash, Vijay Ganguly, Bosco-Caesar, and Adil Sheikh all performed well in each song. Rajat Poddar's production design is appropriate for the film's characters and story. Both palaces' sets are extremely well-made. Costume Design: Akki Narula, Rimple and Harpreet Narula, and Ankita Patel's are acceptable. Manohar Verma's action is appropriate for the film's genre. Mandar Kulkarni's sound design is excellent, and it sounds very much like the movie itself. Amitabh Bhattacharya's lyrics are also well-written. Visual Effects: They are superbly executed and serve as the film's unique selling point. The visual effects also contribute to the film's strength. The climax is intensely suspenseful. The climax maintains a high level of suspense. Opinion: Must See! For those who enjoy watching horror movies with a touch of comedy. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Review: Does the Movie Live Up the Legacy of its Predecessors?
The latest installment in the beloved Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Anees Bazmee, has hit theaters this Diwali, bringing with it a blend of horror, comedy, and a dash of nostalgia. As fans flock to cinemas, the film promises a rollercoaster ride filled with laughter, chills, and unexpected twists. But does it live up to the legacy of its predecessors?
The Plot of Bhool Bhulaiya 3
The storyline of Bhool Bhulaiya 3 revolves around Ruhaan's quest to confront the ghostly Manjulika and her complicated past involving themes of love and vengeance. The film attempts to weave social commentary into its comedic fabric, touching on issues like poverty and societal expectations while maintaining an entertaining facade. However, Bollywood movie review critics argue that the execution falls short; the plot meanders at times and lacks the coherence needed to keep viewers fully engaged throughout its 157-minute runtime.
Bazmee’s direction leans heavily on humor, which sometimes overshadows the horror elements that made the original so compelling. While there are moments that successfully blend comedy with suspense, many scenes feel drawn out or overly reliant on clichés—particularly in how they portray Bengali culture for comedic effect. This approach has led some Bollywood movie review critics to criticize the film for lacking depth compared to its predecessors.
Heart of the Movie: Kartik Aaryan
At the heart of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is Kartik Aaryan, reprising his role as Ruhaan, also known as Rooh Baba. Aaryan's charisma shines through as he navigates the complexities of a haunted mansion while trying to outsmart not one but two evil forces. His performance is peppered with humor that appeals to audiences of all ages, making him a fitting successor to Akshay Kumar's original portrayal. Bollywood movie review critics have noted that Aaryan brings fresh energy to the film, though some feel he occasionally falls into repetitive patterns that undermine his character's uniqueness.
Star Power: Madhuri and Vidya Missed to Use Their Full Potential
The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring stalwarts like Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan. However, their talents seem underutilized in this outing. While both actresses deliver commendable performances, particularly in their portrayals of Manjulika, the narrative often sidelines them in favor of Aaryan's character. This decision has drawn mixed reactions from viewers who expected more substantial roles for these iconic actresses.
Despite this, their presence adds depth to the film. Madhuri's portrayal of a complex character showcases her versatility, while Vidya's return to the franchise brings a sense of continuity that fans appreciate. The film's climax features a thrilling twist that highlights their abilities, leaving audiences yearning for more screen time from these legends.
Does the Movie Live Up to the Legacy of Its Predecessors?
When comparingBhool Bhulaiyaa 3 to its predecessors—Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022)—the film presents a mixed bag. The original film is fondly remembered for its perfect blend of horror and comedy, anchored by Akshay Kumar's stellar performance and Priyadarshan’s masterful direction. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, featuring Kartik Aaryan and Tabu, managed to recapture some of that magic with its engaging plot and humor while introducing fresh elements to the franchise. However, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 struggles to maintain this momentum. While it attempts to deliver laughs and thrills, many Bollywood movie review critics argue that it lacks the depth and emotional resonance found in its predecessors. The pacing issues and underdeveloped characters detract from the overall experience, leaving some viewers feeling nostalgic for the intricacies and charm that defined earlier installments.
Visuals and Production Quality
On a technical level, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 excels with its stunning cinematography and production design. The haunted mansion is brought to life with vibrant visuals that enhance the eerie atmosphere essential for a horror-comedy. The art direction stands out as one of the film’s high points, contributing significantly to its overall appeal.
Moreover, the film features catchy musical numbers that aim to resonate with audiences but have received mixed Bollywood movie reviews regarding their integration into the storyline. While some songs are enjoyable, others feel forced and detract from the pacing.
Audience Reception: A Mixed Bag
Initial audience reactions have been varied. Many fans have celebrated Aaryan’s performance as a highlight and appreciated the film as an entertaining family watch during the festive season. Social media buzz indicates that viewers found it to be a fun experience despite acknowledging its flaws.
However, Bollywood movie review critics have pointed out significant shortcomings in pacing and character development. Some viewers have expressed disappointment over how Madhuri and Vidya’s characters were handled—feeling they deserved more than what was ultimately delivered.
However, this is a good one-time watch movie for fans looking for lighthearted entertainment with humor and supernatural antics. But for those seeking a tightly woven narrative with rich character arcs akin to its original counterpart, this installment may leave you wanting more.

Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Box Office Collection for Eid Release May Not Breach Rs. 15 Crore on Day 1
Tumblr media
After four years of interval, Salman returned onscreen on Eid with the film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. On the opening day, the movie did well among the mass circuits. However, it could not garner much response from the audiences going to multiplexes. Given the early figures, the movie will perhaps gross somewhere between Rs 13.75 crores and Rs 15 crores on day 1.
But this is way below earlier released on Eid for Salman Khan’s films. Bharat, his Eid’ last released film opened at Rs. 42.30 crores. Reports reveal that compared to multiplexes the mass market has shown a better response. Also, no metro city apart from Hyderabad has got a sizeable footfall in theatres. Hyderabad is still returning stable revenue probably because of the involvement of Venkatesh Daggubati in the movie.
As per a trusted source, the family entertainer recorded only 15.33% for Hindi occupancy. Since Eid falls on Saturday and people traditionally watch Salman's flicks during the holiday. This could pick up during the weekend. According to Bollywood Hungama, the movie is anticipated to increase by 75–100% on Saturday and Sunday, earning a respectable sum overall.
So far this year, only a few movies have impressed the blockbuster chart, with Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar drawing Rs. 147.12 crores, SRK’s Pathaan grossing Rs 543.05 crores, and humble Rs. 21.17 crores for Rani Mukerji’s Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway. But there were high hopes for Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which has not accumulated much to date.
Another trend that we have witnessed in the first quarter of the year is the underperformance South films’ remakes. Two such examples are the films Selfiee of Akshay Kumar and Shehzada of Kartik Aaryan. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is also of the remake genre. It is based on the movie Veeram and we are to see how the audience reacts to it further.
