to put it bluntly, the sisters do not have the best relationship. it wasn't due to their natures ( though, how different they were, did not help ). rhoslyn, born first, was obedient, well-spoken, performed beautifully in society ever since she could walk. her sister (name up to player), did not do as well. despite being far cleverer than rhoslyn, she was not one for society. when the tyrells plucked rhoslyn to be their daughter's companion, it created a rift that rhoslyn could not mend. they do love each other a lot. most of the animosity comes from the fact rhoslyn has referred to alerie -- the queen -- as a sister, multiple times in her letters home. in a way, i feel like her sister would try to... set herself apart from rhoslyn by even taking political positions that go against their family's allegiances to set herself apart, which could be a fun little plot!
