1:00 am. The touch screen on his phone read the hour. ‘It couldn’t be’ Kandomere thought to himself. There was no way he had been staring at this heap of papers for this long. He checked again; 1:01 am. A soft thud of plastic on wood echoed in the office. Montehugh looked up, beleaguered and slack-jaw.
In the time the pair had been working together Kandomere swore that his partner had aged twice as fast as his predecessors. The meager yellow glow of Montehugh’s desk light only served his theory. It would cast odd-angled shadows across his features; accentuating the creases in his partner’s forehead, and making those dark circles more prominent.
“Boss?” Montehugh’s expression changed from somewhat dumbfounded to weary intrigue.
Kandomere snapped out of his thought and rose from the chair, pulling his suit jacket from its resting place. Montehugh mirrored him.
“We got a lead?” Montehugh asked, grabbing for his gun.
“No,” Kandomere shot back, maybe a little more forceful than intended, “go home.”
Kandomere finished with a softer tone. Not his proudest moment, but the perfect topping on a shit-stacked day. The annoyance wasn’t meant for his partner. Everything had been a bust with this forsaken case. Every lead was a dead-end. Every witness unreliable, skittish, or vanished. Nothing was coming together on this one. A deep sigh escaped as he pinched the bridge of his nose. Another night he would have to crawl in bed next to you and apologize to your sleeping form.
He knew it was alright. You never complained. It was work and it was important. You understood. Yet, still, he found himself, whispering against your shoulder when he curled himself around you.
“I’m sorry,” he breathed.
“What?” His partner returned as the elevator doors slid closed.
“Nothing,” Kandomere returned.
The ride down, the walk through the parking garage, the lackadaisical wave good night was all done in silence. This was a quiet understanding that his partner took to naturally. It was one thing that set him apart from the other junior agents Kandomere had taken under his wing prior. He wasn’t the quickest in a lot of ways, but where it counted... he just knew on instinct not to say too much when the boss was stressed. This, Kandomere appreciated. No pep talks, no commiseration, just silence.
The smell of leather greeted him as he crawled into the Audi. The touchscreen illuminated as he pressed the ignition button. A woman spoke in Elvish asking for a destination for the nav system.
Driving home was uneventful. Shimmering Elves in the throws of drunken revelry outside of clubs, a sharply dressed Orc on the corner providing a coke connection, all the same shit, blending into blur as he drove past.
More and more often he’d find himself checking the time. Eleven minutes had elapsed. He’d start thinking how one of these days he was going to come home and you wouldn’t be there. He kept wondering if tonight was the night, the breaking point. And fuck, did his head hurt. He kneaded one eye, ‘I need a fucking vacation.’
To his amazement you were still there when he opened the door. Awake even. A glass of wine, a blanket, and a book.
“Who the fuck can read at this hour? I cannot even keep my eyes open.”
You didn’t look up from the page. That salty attitude wouldn’t suit.
“Hello to you too,” you replied with a note of caution.
He stood there, eyeing you, contemplating, or holding his tongue, or both. In the end he went for the shower and washed the wasted day off of him. There was a heaviness in his shoulders, a tightening in his limbs, a pounding in his temples that only grew worse. He wasn’t going to solve this case, and the whole beating his head against a wall trying to do so anyway was going to cause a rift between you both and everything was going to end in ruins like the last relationship he had been in. On some level he knew this was stress and tiredness talking, but he couldn’t push it away. ‘No,’ he thought, ‘I’m only ever good at pushing people away.’
After an abridged nightly ritual he headed for the bedroom. Surely you were already there. He didn’t flick on the lights, only sidled in. In the shadows he shifted. Kandomere’s arm reaching for you, wanting comfort and to hold on tight to everything that was real and solid in his life. All he found was a void. His fingers traced the vacant space on the pillow next to him. A great swell of sorrow started to pull at him.

Tumblr media
It was late, the sun had long since set, but work is work, and so Agent Kandomere of the Magic Task Force arrived home late.
Again.
You couldn't fault him really, especially since this time he had sent a text message letting you know that a case had sprung up. You, as his lovely significant other, had taken the chance to make a nice dinner instead of being angry.
As long as he came home in one piece you were happy.
You had prepared quite the spread, hearty pasta, bread, and an abundance of side dishes, knowing your man would be ravenous after such a taxing day.
Once Kandomere had finally gotten home, his face held a deep exhaustion, and annoyance, both of which disappeared as he wrapped his arms around you and saw the full table. The man had thanked you profusely for such a lovely dinner, before, during, and after finishing his two plates.
You brushed off his offer at doing the dishes, instead setting him on his nice chair in the living room with a glass of bourbon.
You could feel his eyes on you as you washed up at the sink, his chair positioned so the two of you could converse, discussing the idiots he had to deal with at work, Montehugh’s latest hobby update (apparently he is making donuts), and all the things you had gotten up to today.
Kandomere sat, sipping at his glass, his gaze heavy on you as he studied your form a bit more intensely than usual. From this angle he had a beautiful side view of you, watching your hips sway as you scrubbed the dishes. You had enjoyed the dinner as much as he did, and because of this the black slip dress you wore, which flattered your figure very well may he add, was clinging a bit tighter to the bloated tummy you were sporting.
He knew you didn't care, bloating is a normal part of the digestive process, and he sure as hell didn't mind, in fact he loved it. He always enjoyed your soft bits, loving how they made you you and he showed his appreciation of them on the daily (if you know what I mean wink wink).
So as he watched you in the kitchen, his mind slipped into thoughts of other reasons your stomach could be poking out more, the way the dress was falling, made you look ethereal, made him think how perfect you would look pregnant.
In the past, the thought of his partner being pregnant would have made the elf balk, sick at the thought of such responsibility and never liking anyone enough to even consider such an atrocity.
Now though, with you? The thought… it actually pleased him. Instead of adversity filling his stomach he felt excitement, the soft brushes of butterfly wings cluing the man into the fact that his feelings on the subject have changed drastically.
Suddenly he realized how much he actually wanted this. Wanted the future he had always sworn off, a house, a marriage license, and some kids. Kandomere was always someone who had feared domesticity, feared intimacy, but something has completely changed his view on it.
You.
He simply loved you, so much to the point where he suddenly understood everyone who gave him a look when he stated how much he didn't want a family, he understands now because he finally has the person he wants it with.
His person.
Kandomere was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice the water shut off, or you turning to him, toweling off your hands and mouth poised to ask him if he wanted to go get ice cream. When your gaze fell onto him you noticed his far off look, and the fact that his eyes were planted directly where your ass was.
Typical.
“Kandomere?”
“Kandy?’
“...babe?”
Sighing and giving up, you threw the damp towel at him, hitting him squarely in the face, fabric hanging over blue hair and gray eyes.
“Hey what the hell.”
His big hands reached up to yank the towel off of his head, glaring at you until he saw your smirk, knowing somehow he had embarrassed himself.
And yet, the man who would normally care so much about this fact, didn't care, because he didn't need to be bothered feeling embarrassed with you.
You quirked your eyebrow up, closing the distance between the two of you, arms reaching towards him,
“What’s on your mind boy blue?”
Your hands rested on his shoulders, his wrapping around your waist, conveniently putting his face just about in line with the object of his thoughts.
“Hmmm, just thinking about something.”
“Clearly.”  You scoff.
Still, he remained oddly silent, gaze set on you, it worried you a bit.
“You sure you're alright?”
It took him a moment to answer,
“Yeah, just…”
He didn't go on, seeming as though he was afraid to admit what was on his mind, unlike his usual bluntness.
Your hand left his shoulder, tucking some hair behind his pointed ear, and laying against his cheek, ushering his eyeline towards yours.
“Tell me baby.”
And frankly he’d give you anything you could ever want, so who was he, a mere elf, to hold the truth from you.
“I want a baby.”
Now that threw you to the left field.
Your mind raced a mile a minute, not sure where to stop or what to say to the man holding you.
He let you take your time, knowing he just left quite the impact on you.
It was a very sudden confession from the man you knew to normally sneer at the sight of strollers in the street, but you couldn't help but feel a warmth blossom in you. Kandomere wanted a baby? With you?
You knew he loved you, but this, this, would be the biggest commitment the man could ever make. All of this thinking never included a doubt that you wanted this as well. You wanted to have a baby, to have his baby, more than anything. But before that…
You looked back down to the man sitting in front of you, the yearning and vulnerability in his eyes almost enough to make you cry,
“Well, guess you're gonna have to marry me then huh?”

Only A Dream
You look around you at all the very well-dressed people in the room, you’re looking for your elven lover Kandomere. Pushing past the people around you, finally you spot him and the corners of your mouth lift up and immediately fall back down when he steps forward with his arm around an elven woman. His eyes scan over the room and consequently over you and there’s not even recognition in his eyes.
“No,” you whisper, “Kandomere…”
You try to approach him, but he and the elven woman are swept away in the crowd. You continue to follow them, growing more distraught by the moment. Finally, you spot them both again and Kandomere is standing in front of you with his back to you. He’s busy talking with someone else and…
“And this is my wife,” Kandomere says gesturing with his left hand.
You see a glint of metal and there’s a silver ring on his left hand.
Your heart sinks.
Wife?
But…but you’re supposed to be his wife.
You see the elven woman raise her left hand to tuck some hair behind Kandomere’s ear and there’s a wedding ring on her hand as well. Her fingers brush gently over the tips of his ear and tears start to well up in your eyes.
You step forward, “Kandomere…” you choke out.
Kandomere turns towards you finally and raises a brow, “Yes, can I help you?”
“You don’t recognize me?” you ask, your throat closing up.
His brows pinch together slightly, “No, should I?”
You open your mouth, both hurt and shocked, while his “wife” eyes you suspiciously.
“Oh, wait we’ve worked together,” Kandomere says pointing to you and smiling.
“Well, yes, but-“ you begin.
“It’s nice meeting you again Ms.-“ he says and snaps his fingers, “What was your name again, it seems I’ve forgotten it.”
You tell him your name.
“Ah, that was it,” he says.
“Kandomere, how can you not know who I am?!” you demand tears streaming down your face.
“But I did remember you,” he says confused and not at all perturbed by your crying.
“I’m your wife! Not her!” you shout gesturing at the elven woman next to him.
He clears his throat and looks at her and then around the room.
Kandomere’s “wife” looks at you pathetically.
“You’re causing a scene,” Kandomere says.
“But I’M your wife!” you insist, “You told me you would always love ME!”
“I’m sorry,” Kandomere says to you and then to the elven woman, “Let’s go, Amor.”
You watch helplessly as Kandomere leaves with the elven woman in tow.
“No, wait, don’t go! Kandomere, don’t leave me!” you plead.
You start to open your eyes and as you turn your face, you feel wet, hot liquid slide down your cheek. You sniffle and rub your face and turn over to find the opposite side of the bed empty.
Placing your hand on the sheets it feels cold to the touch and panic swells in your chest and you sit upright in bed. You quickly turn to your nightstand and pick up the picture frame sitting there. The picture of you and Kandomere with him standing behind you with his arms around you is still there. You run your thumb over the glass and then set it back down and then you notice that the porcelain, gryphon nest jewelry tray he got you is still there too. You turn back to his side of the bed and pick up his pillow and bury your nose in it and inhale his scent. You stay like that for a few moments and then peel yourself away from his pillow, and then you return it to his spot on the bed.
Then you go to the bathroom, and wash your face afterwards.
While you’re drying your face you open up one of the sink drawers and find your perfume along with Kandomere’s cologne. You leave your perfume alone and pull out Kandomere’s cologne and spritz a little on the inside of your wrist. The cologne complements him better than it complements you, but you just want the comfort of his scent.
You inhale and sigh deeply.
You had worn one of Kandomere’s pajama shirts to sleep in for your nap and you bunch up the fabric and press it close to your chest. Then you return to your shared bedroom and pull out a pair of leggings and put them on.
As you leave your room and head to the kitchen, the door to the apartment opens.
Kandomere walks in having returned home from work and spots you and smiles, “Hey.”
“Hey,” you return with a smile.
You go to the refrigerator to get yourself a drink and Kandomere follows you, “Long day?” you ask.
He sighs and rolls his eyes, “Very,” he says and gives you a peck on the cheek.
You finish pouring your glass and set the pitcher of lemonade back in the fridge.
You lift your right hand to his face and give him another peck on the lips.
He presses your palm against his cheek.
He inhales and blinks and then lifts your wrist to his nose and inhales again, “Querida? Are you wearing my cologne?”
“Uh…I was looking for my perfume and accidentally spilled yours,” you lie.
He hums and kisses your palm before letting your hand go.
You sip your lemonade and the elf walks past you, shrugging out of his suit jacket, “What should we have for dinner tonight?”
“I got some spaghetti noodles the other day at the store so, pasta?” you suggest.
He nods, “That sounds good.”
Then he starts to take out a few pots and set them on the counter.
“Kandomere,” you say pushing lightly on his chest, “Go get changed first, you’ll be beside yourself if you get anything on your suit.”
He looks down at himself, “Right,” he says with a tired laugh.
And then he kisses you on the cheek again and meets your lips for two quick kisses. You watch him disappear down the hall and hold your fingertips to your lips.
What a dumb dream.
You start to fill one of the pots with water for the noodles, Kandomere loves you just like he always has. But the dream still lingers in the back of your mind as you add the noodles to the pot next. You decide to make fried mozzarella sticks to go along with the pasta and start prepping them while the noodles cook. You get the first batch of mozzarella sticks frying in the fryer when Kandomere steps back into the kitchen.
“Are those fried mozzarella sticks?” he asks.
“They are,” you say smiling.
Kandomere smiles wide, “Oh, those are so good,” he says donning his apron.
He goes to check on the noodles and stirs the pot briefly.
Then he takes out some spices from the cabinet and sets another pot down on the stovetop. You prepare another batch of mozzarella to go into the oil, while Kandomere retrieves some canned tomatoes for the sauce. When the first batch of mozzarella sticks is done you take them out and set them aside to cool before adding the second batch. Kandomere measures and adds all the seasoning and you inhale deeply at the wonderful aroma.
Kandomere turns to you and smiles, laughing softly.
Since the mozzarella sticks don’t need your immediate attention you go to your boyfriend Kandomere and wrap your arms around his middle. He places his left arm over yours and holds you to him while he stirs the sauce.
You close your eyes and stand there in silence for a while.
Kandomere starts humming a little tune and you smile.
You frown when you remember your dream suddenly and the way he looked at you. And you furrow your brows and rub your face against his back.
“Amor, is everything alright?” he asks.
You open your eyes and hum in question.
His head is turned slightly in an attempt to look over his shoulder at you, and his eyes seem concerned.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” you say.
He rubs his hand over your arms, “It’s just you tightened your arms around me and made a little noise,” he says.
“Did I?” you ask.
“Yes,” he says softly, turning more of his body away from the stove.
You detach yourself from him and go to check on the mozzarella sticks again.
Kandomere watches you and then taps the wooden spoon on the pot before setting it down.
The elf then turns to you finally and crosses his arms over his chest, “What’s wrong?”
You shrug holding onto your tongs, turning some of the pieces of fried cheese, “Nothing’s wrong.”
“Querida…” he says.
You look at him.
His head is tilted at you as his eyes implore you to tell him what’s wrong.
You glance down at the food, “I had a bad dream.”
You hear Kandomere shift and he steps over to you, placing an arm around you.
“It was about you,” you explain, “You…were in love with someone else. Married to someone else, an elven woman too.”
His hands move to your shoulders, “Oh, Querida.”
You set the tongs down and allow him to turn you towards him.
“I love you,” he says softly cupping your jaw, “And I’ll only ever love you.”
You smile.
He kisses your forehead, “You’re my love,” he says and kisses your cheek, “You’re the only one I want to be married to.”
You lift your head and smile up at him, and then he kisses you on the lips.
You bury your fingers in his hair and continue to kiss him, there’s a sizzling sound and you break apart to tend to dinner. You remove the finished mozzarella sticks and he drains the pasta. You then stir in the pasta with the sauce while Kandomere sets the dinner table.
Then you both fix a plate and head to your seats.
“I was wondering why you were wearing my cologne,” Kandomere says.
“Yeah, I just needed the comfort of your scent,” you say.
“If you want my scent, I can think of other ways I can help with that,” Kandomere says slyly with a wink.
Your face heats up and you giggle before lightly pushing on his shoulder, “Not like that!”
Kandomere chuckles.
“Could we snuggle though?” you ask.
He smiles, “Of course, and then afterwards maybe take a bath together?”
“I’d like that,” you say.

Could you do a fic or hc about Kandomere dealing with an SO that pms’ really bad and on their period? Cuz I pms real bad and am not having a good time. Thanks in advance
Hi, Anon! I’m sorry you’re dealing with crappy periods. Sure, let me whip up a little something for you. I hope it makes you feel better. Take care of yourself!
---
You’re laying in bed with a heating pad over your stomach and a rerun of Say Yes to the Dress playing on your TV when Kandomere calls.
Your heart swoops in your chest as his name pops up on the screen. Your relationship is in its deliciously nerve-wracking early days. You still get butterflies in your stomach every time you see him or hear his voice. The human/elf element of the relationship has been a bit of a culture shock for both of you--but you’ve never felt this way for anyone in your life.
“Hi, baby,” his voice purrs into your ear and you squirm deeper into your blankets with a goofy grin on your face despite how crappy you feel.
“Hey,” you draw out the word with pleasure, “my Kandomere. What are you doing?”
The quality of the background noise changes as he answers, “I’m walking up to your building.”
“What?!” you blurt out, surprise raising the pitch of your voice to dangerously squeaky levels. “Babe, I told you to stay home tonight. I’m...sick.”
So far you’ve avoided getting into the biological details surrounding your hellish periods. Of course, Kandomere knows that humans have monthly cycles whereas immortal elves might only menstruate once or twice per year. But you haven’t explained to him how hard your periods hit you and you’re not sure he’d understand. Do elves even get PMS?
“Yes, and you thought that I could just stay home while my baby is hurting?” he questions and before you can answer there’s a knock on your apartment door.
You sigh and grumble as you drag yourself out of bed and stalk over to the door, keeping the phone to your ear so you can gripe at him, “You’re incorrigible! And I’m...gross.”
You open the door to let him inside and he stands there, framed in the doorway and looking like he’s just stepped off a runway. Meanwhile you’re dressed in a pear of sweats and a baggy t-shirt with your hair unwashed. You’ve never felt less...deserving of this man and sudden tears are welling in your eyes at the thought. Fucking period brain!
“You shouldn’t have come!” you sob, turning away and retreating back to your nest in the bedroom as he trails behind. “I’m completely disgusting and moody and I feel like shit. And you’re...perfect. As always.”
Kandomere follows you onto the bed, toeing off his shoes and gracefully removing his suit jacket as he sprawls out beside you with a concerned look in his striking, ice blue gaze. You’re laying with your face hidden inside a pillow and he curls up behind you, wrapping one strong arm around you and pressing his hand to your lower stomach where sharp cramps stab at your insides.
“You’re beautiful to me, mi amor,” he whispers, burying his face into the clammy crook of your neck and pressing kisses to your skin. “It doesn’t matter to me if you’re wearing designer labels or sweatpants. I love you.”
It’s the first time he’s said those words and you turn around in his arms, meeting his intense eyes with a hopeful look. He brings his hand up to wipe away the tears stinging your cheeks.
“You love me? Even if spend a week out of every month like...this?” you ask, hating how insecure you sound.
“My silly, perfect human,” he scoffs, shaking his head and smiling to reveal the sharp points of his teeth. He leans down and presses his lips to yours, cupping his hands around your face and kissing you slowly and sweetly. “I love you no matter what.”
You snuggle into his arms, rearranging yourselves so that you can position the heating bad over your belly without scorching him in the process. He holds you, stroking his fingers through your hair and murmuring sweet words into your ears whenever the cramps get to be too much.
After a while you’re feeling calm and soothed and you decide that he’s never allowed to move again.
“I love you, too, Kandomere,” you whisper into the still air around you.
He tightens his arms around you and drops a soft kiss to the top of your head.

Bright Imagine: Kandomere accidentally meeting your family Pt. 2
Tumblr media
You weren’t sure if Kandomere was flirting. You also weren’t sure if he’d meant what he said about coffee on Monday.
Thankfully, an all points bulletin for a centaur brandishing swords in both hands as he galloped through the Natural History Museum prevented you from finding out. Of course, you were less thrilled at the prospect of missing lunch and lingering at the office well after dark.
A notification from your phone tore your attention away from the mound of paperwork in front of you. You’d disarmed the centaur, but not without injury. The stitches you received at the hospital were not enough to get you sent home though. You’d put the cuffs on the centaur, so you had to deal with the paperwork.
That meant forms for booking his swords into evidence, forms for cataloging damage to the museum, forms for turning him over to the hospital for drug screening - and you were certain he was on something - and more forms for processing him in jail. And then there were injury reports and the statements from your colleagues. The centaur would likely face an additional charge of assaulting an officer, which meant you could look forward to wasting an entire day testifying against him in court sometime in the future.
You expected a text from Kandomere asking where your report was. He was usually the only other soul at the office this late. But it wasn’t Kandomere or anyone else in your unit. The notification was from your in-law, and your jaw clenched as you read it.
Heads up, the kids said they saw you on the nightly news while we were washing dishes. Are you ok?
Being on the news and the unwelcome attention that would bring wasn’t the purpose of their warning. You knew what they were really preparing you for. Any second now -
Your phone buzzed sharply against the wooden surface of your desk, only somewhat muffled by the piles of paper surrounding it. The caller ID image showed your sibling smiling broadly and grasping all three of their children tightly in a hug. It was one of your favorite pictures, but you were sure its subjects weren’t smiling now.
Sighing, you accepted the call. Your sibling wouldn’t stop calling until they heard your voice. Maybe not even then. You did the same thing whenever they experienced a close call at work.
“Before you start, I am 100% totally fine. There’s nothing to worry about.” You told them, enunciating each syllable slowly and calmly in the hopes it would rub off on them.
It didn’t.
“You went full Xena Warrior Princess on the 7 o’clock news, and that’s what you tell me?” Your sibling screeched, causing you to grimace and pull your phone away from your ear.
“That’s a bit of an overreaction, don’t you think?”
That was clearly the wrong answer because you couldn’t manage to get a word in for 10 minutes while your older sibling ran through a laundry list of questions.
No, you didn’t need to make a doctor appointment. No, you didn’t need to stay the night with them either. Yes, you were sure that you were perfectly well enough to drive yourself home from work. No, you didn’t have a concussion. You suspected that last one wasn’t quite true, but that was a problem for later.
Finally, your sibling seemed pacified. You’d put him on speakerphone about 5 minutes into the conversation so that you could keep doing paperwork.
“Okay, fine. But turn on your camera. I want to see your face. The kids want to see you.”
“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” you warned. “I caught a hoof in the face at some point. I’m sure it looks worse than it feels but it might not reassure them.”
You heard the anxious intake of breath from the other end of the line and cut your sibling off before they could wind themselves up again.
“What if I show you my face and you tell them I’ll come over for dinner on Friday? The bruises will have faded by then. In the meantime, I can read them a bedtime story to distract them and you all can get to sleep.”
Your sibling paused, considering your plan. It was late and getting close to the boys’ bedtime. Your niece was hopefully already sleeping soundly in her crib at this point. But seeing news footage of your scuffle with the centaur had no doubt whipped them into a frenzy. You doubted they would sleep well tonight, and a pang of guilt echoed through you at the thought of them worrying about you.
Your sibling agreed and did their best to stifle a wince when you flipped your camera on. You didn’t blame him. You gotten up from your desk since Ward and Jakoby brought you back to the station, which had allowed you to actively avoid all reflective surfaces. You didn’t need to see it to know it was bad. It felt awful. But you couldn’t let your nephews know that.
The boys hadn’t quite learned to compromise yet, so you had to read two stories - one picked by each of them. Your sibling steered them toward mercifully short tales, and you channeled every ounce of effort you could muster into bringing them to life. At the conclusion of the second story, your sibling switched their camera away from the book and panned over the boys.
Their tiny bodies were nearly still except for the steady rise and fall of their chests. Deftly and soundlessly, your sibling put the books away. You heard the soft click of them flicking the lights off as they crept out of your nephews’ shared bedroom.
“Good job y/n,” they yawned. “Are you sure you don’t need anything?”
“Yes! You’re such an older sibling!” You hissed exasperatedly. “I have one more page to fill out, and then I’m going home.”
“No, don’t go home. You’ll go straight to bed and wake up starving at 3 am. Grab some food first,” urged your sibling’s spouse in a voice made husky from drowsiness. Your sibling must have taken the phone with them into their bedroom.
“Don’t worry, I’ll make sure y/n gets home alright,” Kandomere said from a few feet to your left. You hadn’t heard him approach, or even seen him since you left the scene of the incident. You wondered when he’d gotten back. Had you really been so out of that you didn’t notice?
“We’d appreciate that Agent Kandomere,” your sibling paused, and you could hear the smile in their voice before they continued. What they said next nearly made you fall out of your chair.
“And you’re welcome to come with y/n on Friday if you’re available. They’ll give you the details.”
A stream of expletives flitted through your mind as you processed what your sibling had just done. You’d only narrowly avoided embarrassing yourself on a (maybe?) coffee date at the expense of your ability to move any part of your face and upper body without being in pain. How the hell were you supposed to get out of a family dinner? Your sibling had already told the kids, so you couldn’t cancel without gravely disappointing them. You couldn’t stand the thought of upsetting them like that when they were so worried about you.
But you didn’t find the thought of Kandomere sitting down to dinner with your family much more tolerable. What if your sibling tried to talk cop shop with Kandomere over dinner? What if your nephews asked you to sleepover, which they usually did if you came over for dinner on a Friday night? What if they pulled up those silly selfies you’d taken with them? Or that ridiculous video of you slow dancing with them at your cousin’s wedding last spring?
Kandomere thanked them for the invitation and your sibling hung up, leaving you sitting in the suffocating silence of the MTF’s bullpen with nothing but your feverish embarrassment and Kandomere for company. You’d been avoiding eye contact with him since he made his presence known, so you were surprised when he pushed a steaming hot cup of coffee into your hand. You hadn’t noticed he’d been holding a cup in each hand.
The comforting, sharp aroma of espresso wafted up from the cup. Your mouth started watering as the smell reminded you just how little you’d eaten or drank that day.
“You remembered,” you whispered, and felt very stupid as soon as the words left your mouth.
Of course he had. You always ordered espresso when buying coffee. He could probably smell it all over you. And it had been less than 48 hours since he ran into you with a cup of espresso gelato in your hand. The fact that he remembered you liked espresso was less impressive to you than the fact that he’d actually bought you coffee.
He’d been serious.
“Thank you,” you added hastily, eager to recover some sense of control over the situation, “You didn’t need to.”
“I keep my word.” He said, and you caught the faintest twitch at the corner of his mouth as he continued, “And you’ve earned it, going ‘full Xena Warrior Princess’ this afternoon.”
You groaned. You should have guessed he’d heard that with his superior sense of hearing.
“Xena would have looked cooler and not gotten kicked in the face doing it.” you laughed.
“You looked good enough to me,” he insisted.
You realized at that moment that both of you still had your hands on your coffee cup. The heat of the liquid inside seeped through the styrofoam cup and its cardboard sleeve, but you also felt the warmth of his fingertips brushing yours.
“When I first tried Aikido, I made a smart-mouthed comment about the rarity of being attacked by a sword-wielding lunatic. It seems that I owe my teacher an apology, given what happened today,” you deflected, trying to smother the mounting unease his comment sparked with humor.
He chuckled and withdrew his hand from your coffee cup. His fingertips ghosted over yours as he did. In the dim after-hours lighting of the MTF bullpen, he looked much less severe than in the bright light of day. There was more than enough light even for your human eyes to catch the faint trace of a smile in his features though.
“Clearly there’s no need for me to ask your sibling if your impertinence is a lifelong trait over dinner on Friday.”

Kandomere headcanons: food.
Fandom: Bright
Tumblr media
Kandomere does have a sweet tooth, although he wouldn't admit to it easily.
He usually buys something extra for the all-nighter spent with the files of a new case, to sweeten the time a little. He usually prefers to eat sweets in the comfort of his own house, but because of his busy work schedule, he has to do it at work.
His office is a rather safe place. Other MTF officers quickly learnt not to disturb him without a good reason. Montehugh is the only one who comes and goes whenever he pleases, though. He's a tough one, but, thankfully, isn't really bothered by his boss's little weakness. He may point it out occasionally, but not in a vicious manner.
Speaking of which, it is only fair to admit Kandomere has seen his fair share of weird (and often disgusting) eating habits of Montehugh, so it's rather understandable they have an unspoken agreement not to talk about food choices.
Kandomere knows how to cook, and is fairly good at it. He enjoys trying out new recipes in his own kitchen, but thanks to his work, he rarely has time for that.
It doesn't mean Kandomere will settle on eating whatever Montehugh brings him. He may be exhausted, but he still have some taste buds left.
If he can't go home to eat, he'll choose a high-end restaurant. He doesn't even care about the price range of the meals served there, unless the prices are suspiciously low or high.
Montehugh will whine through the whole meal, but he has no power over where Kandomere eats.
Kandomere would prefer to skip a meal rather than eat the type of fastfood Montehugh consumes without a blink.
If it's covered in oil, it's not edible. End of the story.
If it came from some suspicious looking foodstand, it's not edible either. Nope.
He's stubborn.
He does prefer to have a little chat during the meal, or at least to have some music put in the background.
He's not sure if he prefers to eat alone or in public. There was a time when he surely preferred calm, alone meals, but since his work as an MTF officer took a big chunk of his time and forced him to eat out more often, Kandomere's no longer sure if what he now feels is a habit or genuine preference.
Kandomere would love to try out any food prepared by his s/o.
If it's delicious, he will be very open and encouraging about it.
If it's not the best... Well, it depends on the stage of the relationship and the amount of honesty that could hurt his s/o. He would finish his meal, that's for sure, but would definitely try to add some constructive criticism.
He'd probably just suggest using some different spices or would wonder how adding/removing some ingredient would change the taste.

S/O Teasing Kandomere Headcannons SFW And NSFW
Request “Hello! Could I request a Kandomere headcanon with an s/o who teases him at the worst times because they find it funny? (Can be sfw or nsfw, whichever you’re comfortable with 😊)”
Pairing: Kandomere x Reader
A/N: I’m glad someone finally requested him! I’ve been wanting someone to for so long because I love him so much lol
SFW
It used to be small little things. Such as you calling him weird names around his coworkers or family. But then it kinda just escalated.
You’d hold his hand and act extremely lovey-dovey around people and make him embarrassed.
Sometimes you'd call him while he was supposed to be busy and just ask him a billion questions. This always left everyone in the room confused.
A lot of people already didn’t like that an elf and human were together but you didn’t care. You acted as if you were a normal couple all the time, other than when you kissed him all over his face and hugged him tightly in front of others.
NSFW
On the rare occasions when he had friends over or brought you out with him and his partners, and you were unhappy with him you’d tease him in a completely different way. You’d start with whispering in his ear names that you’d only use for when you were alone.
He hated when you teased him this way because it worked so easily.
Occasionally he would be sitting with you at a nice restaurant and you would tell him you had to use the bathroom. But as you would pass him you would lower yourself and whisper how you weren’t wearing anything under your dress or skirt and instantly he would demand to have the check.
Sometimes while you were at home you would purposely wear revealing clothing and ask him what he meant when he asked why you were dressed that way. After all you just felt so hot under all those clothes, you just needed to breathe.

Fragile Tension (Part One)
Part Two
“How many coffee is that now?”, my partner Lea asked bemused when she sat down at the edge of my office desk as she’s eyeing the steaming black coffee next to my laptop.
“Six? I am surprised you’re really drinking this dishwater.”, she asked in the blue, tugging some of hair messy curly hair behind her round ears and I noticed dark circles around her chocolate brown eyes, even through her almond brown skin tone concealed a lot of her tiredness.
“Better than nothing.”, I shrugged her comment off and added some milk and sugar into the porcelain mug. Nightshift at the Magic Task Force facility was always an unpleasant experience, to say the least. Either nothing was going on and you had to fight sleep for ten hours straight, or the crazy shit was blowing up right into our face. There was nothing in between.
At least, there weren’t many other agents in the building at this hour. Especially almost to no elves.
“Oh, guess what.”, Lea started talking again, obviously I was part of her plan to fight off her desire to sleep while I was stirring my coffee with a silver spoon. I hummed in respond, waiting for her to continue talking.
“I heard Agent Arlon bitching about the public speech your mother held in the elf district of Seattle today. Shame for all elves and the usual bullshit.”
“And here I thought you head something new.”, I replied with a dramatic roll of my eyes, taking a sip from my almost to sweet tasting coffee. It was an open secret that the bigger part of the elvish society considered my mother to be their personal Dark Lord. Or antichrist, how humans liked to say in such a matter.
She worked since decades for a real equality between all races, not just one that stood on paper. Growing up privileged, my mother sympathized at a very young age with creatures that weren’t lucky enough to live behind guarded walls and enjoy the best unaffordable education for over 60 % of the planet.
Her speeches back then were waved off as youthful flaws, but when she felt in love with a human and decided to give birth to the first halfbreed of the elvish kind, that crossed the line for most elves.
It was socially tolerated to have a secret affair with humans, but that’s were the comfort zone ended. Being in an official relationship would be a scandal to an alarming extent and the pressure to much to bear, but breeding with a different race, that was a social death sentence.
I lived my childhood in the elf district of New York City, moved with my parents to three more elvish districts around the country before we finally settled in Los Angeles. Still a lot of hate, but at least there was enough other gossip that we could live our lives in peace for most parts. There were only heydays of hatred whenever mother did one of her more passionate speeches about equality or wanted to enforce a new law that didn’t benefit the needs of the elves.
“One should think that they are more discrete with you being around.”, Lea said thoughtfully, taking one of the elder files that rested on my desk and flipped through the pages.
“Nah, they love it when I walk in to listen to their shit. Hoping I will cry my eyes out about it.”
Back when Lea and I got paired up roughly three years ago, she thought I am just one of those arrogant elves that fill the halls of the department, thinking that everyone should bow to them. But that impression dissolved into dust when she witnessed me getting bullied by elvish coworkers on a daily basis.
I may looked like them, minus the pointed teeth and the bright, light colored eyes, those were human, I got treated like an abomination since the day of my conception. Even by my elvish grandparents.
A loud ping echoed through the open space office and the door of the elevator opened with a swift motion, revealing the Agents Kandomere and Montehugh to be back from a field trip.
I growled at the sight of the buff elf, with his dyed blue hair slicked back nicely and his silver-blue eyes scanning the room as he entered the room with his partner.
“Behave.”, Lea hissed quietly, but we both knew that Kandomere heard every word we would exchange from now on, even if he would be five rooms apart from us.
He was the personification of my archenemy. The second I laid eyes on his silver gorget, etched with the sentence “Elves above all. Above all elves.” in Övüsi, the elvish language, I decided to hate him with a burning passion.
And after a heated debate in a team meeting around a year ago, where it wouldn’t have taken much for us to strangle one another to death, our human partners decided to keep us separated by all costs. And it worked until now.
I didn’t came around to notice how he clenched his strong jaw as his piercing eyes landed on me, heard his heartbeat quickening and he let out a deep breath.
“Can’t he breath even louder.”
“[Y/N]!”, my partner hissed again, this time a bit more aggressive, her eyes dancing between me and the two arrivals and I could swear I noticed a pleading look on Montehughs face directed at Lea.
“Why don’t we go to the archives? Decoding some ancient languages? What do you say, [Y/N]?”
“No.”
“Well, I could go for something small to eat, Kandomere.”, I heard Montehughs booming voice, looking around the room casually before glancing at his partner, who was striding through the room in my direction.
“Then go.”, he said callous, passing Lea and my desk with stone cold features before I could hear the chair of the desk right behind mine being pulled back. So that’s his first move, I thought to myself and decided to slurp on my coffee rather unladylike.
I felt his death glare literally on the back of my head, but at this very moment, I couldn’t care less. Instead, I had to hold back myself from laughing about Lea and Montehugh, who were unable to cope with their (half-) elvish partners.
Montehugh, who still stood close to the elevator, walked the invisible path Kandomere previously moved on, but he came to halt right next to Lea and myself.
“Long time no see... So, how is it going?”
“Well, it’s always the same, Ulysses.”
“Ulysses?”, I blurred out with a raised eyebrow, watching the two humans with an answer demanding look in the eyes and judging the of Kandomeres sharp breath we were sitting in the same boat.
“That’s his name.”
“I know, but since when are we addressing each other by first name?”
He’s with the enemy, I thought to myself, as I tried my best not to let that thought become visible on my facial features.
“I have friends beside you, [Y/N].”
“Friends?”, this time, it was Kandomeres sonorous voice filling the air as he rose his voice and I slid back while remaining on the chair to be able to look at him and the two human.
“Since we can’t bring the two of you to team meetings without starting the apocalypse, we started talking during the breaks and stuff.”, Montehugh said in defense, crossing his arms in front of his chest while Lea slipped down from the desk to stand next to him.
“Oh really?”, Kandomere and I said at the same time, quickly glancing at one another before turning our attention back to our partners.
"You both are behaving ridiculous. I mean, look at you.”
“She’s right. You know what, Lea and I are getting some supper and you guys can burn down this place if necessary, but don’t get us involved anymore.”, and with that being said, Montehugh and Lea turned their backs on us and headed straight for the elevator and just a blink of the eye later, they were gone behind metallic doors.
“That’s your fault.”, Kandomere said in a low growl, interlocking his hands in front of his face while staring at me with arched eyebrows.
“My fault?”, I asked him outraged, placing a hand on my chest as I swirled around to face him. He remained silently, his silver-blue eyes staring me down without blinking.
“This is hardly my fault. You”
“I have done nothing.”
“Of course. How could I forget that our godlike Kandomere isn’t able to do anything wrong. Elves above all. Above all elves. Right!”, I yelled at him and both of us rose to our feet, only a desk kept us apart from one another.
At first, there was pure rage shown on his face, but with every heavy breath that he exhaled, his strong features began to soften.
“So this what it was all about the entire time?”, Kandomere asked me calmly, tilting his head while he scanned my features for any sign if he found the final clue to solve a case that caused him a lot of headaches.
Unwittingly, I backed away a small step, meeting the desk I said behind for the last two hours with my backside while my full attention rested on the elf in front of me.
“What are you talking about?”, I muttered under my breath and felt awed by the sudden change of his demeanor as I watched Kandomere pointing at his silver gorget, his piercing light eyes locked with mine.
“You hate me because of a piece of jewelry?”
“I hate you for everything this piece of jewelry stands for.”, I told him honestly and I could tell by the look on his face what he was thinking at this very moment. That I was sounding just like my mother.
“I have nothing against other races.”
“But?”
“But I think most need supervision.”
“By elves?”, I wasn’t beating around the bush, but neither was Kandomere, and I crossed my arms in front of my chest while he walked around the desk, now standing an arm-length apart from me as he leaned against the desk.
“Yes.”
I snorted in respond, shaking my head in disbelief about his dusty, old fashioned views. Sadly, this view was shared by most of those elitist pure-blooded elves. An awkward silence took a firm grip of us, mentally going through the usual better and worse reasons to believe in each of our views.
Those debates were held millions of times, there was no good reason for the two of us to start it on our own. Nothing new would come out of it. Everything that someone could say on that topic was already said by older, more wiser elves then us.
“But that doesn’t mean that I hold any resentment towards you.”, Kandomere said after a long pause, slowly coming closer to me in small, graceful steps. I bit my lower lip, avoiding his gaze for a split second before looking back up to meet his eyes.
“I find it hard to belief.”
“Really?”
“Really.”, we exchanged our words quickly, and he came to stop right in front of me, the tip of his expensive designer shoes touching mine softly. He smelled like smoke of an open fire mixed with the scent of leather and roses. It left me wondering for a moment if there was someone waiting for him at home, but that thought left my racing mind as quickly as it entered.
“Then, would you allow me to prove you that my words are honest? All I want is a chance and time.”, he spoke calmly, looking down at me through half closed eyes.
“I have to think about it.”, I whispered, flinching away from him before I grabbed my jacket, which rested on the back of my chair before I stride towards the closed elevator.
I felt his eyes burning in the back of my head with every step I came closer to my escape, his smell still etched into my mind and the sonorous sound of his voice echoing in my head.
I needed a clear head, and here, with him, I wouldn’t be able to get what the back of my head demanded. That’s at least what I told myself as I waited for the elevator to show up, feeling like it’s taking longer then usual for it to show up on our floor.
With a loud ping, the door glided to one side and I quickly entered the small room to press the button for the ground floor. Turning around on the spot, my eyes landed on Kandomere one last time before the doors closed automatically.
The silver-blue orbs of his were pleading me to stay, to come back to him and sit down on the some chairs, talking about this and that and making first steps on getting to know one another. I lowered my head, avoiding his gaze as the door closed the engine of the elevator starting to lower the cabin to it’s destination.

Kandomere x gn!Reader
Part 2
Authors note/ tw: limited pronouns used for gn reader, occasional they/them. Bright universe drug mention.
Please do not repost but feel free to reblog!
Tumblr media
Three weeks. It had taken three damned weeks to bust the fairy dust dealer.
Tight-lipped assholes, Kandomere had thought to himself while he and Montehugh marched the geology TA off of campus.
Kandomere had felt a swarming in his stomach when his eyes briefly met a particularly shining pair in the crowd which had gathered.
Reasoning with himself now, in his apartment, the moon glimmering in through the windows, bourbon in hand, Kandomere relented to the fact he was attracted to the professor he had accidentally come across.
Undoubtedly.
He grimaced, Kandomere had dated a few humans before, but something always came between them. Did he really want to risk it again with this one? What if they didn’t even like him?
Downing the amber filled glass, Kandomere shook the thoughts out of his head, blue swirling through the air, and headed to bed.
Kandomere found solace in his personal workspace. His desk was tidy, his square of carpet clean, his drawers meticulously organized.
When his phone rang, the number showing up on caller id not one immediately recognized, he cursed the machine for breaking his comfortable silence.
Nimble fingers enclosed around the plastic, lifting it to rest against a pointed ear,
“Magic Taskforce, Agent Kandomere speaking.”
He heard shuffling on the other end, as if the mysterious caller was shifting in their clothing.
“Hi, uh, I’m from the university. You gave me your card. Helped me with my curtains?”
The raising lilt of your voice led the ending statement to become a question, nervous that he wouldn’t remember your brief meeting.
As if it wasn’t all he could think about since.
“Of course, how can I help you?”
Internally cringing at the customer service-esque question that befell from his lips, Kandomere waited for your response.
What did you want? A million possibilities ran through his pretty blue head, simple ideas slowly morphing into heinous.
“Well, I was uh, wondering if you’d like to… get some dinner some time?”
This is, it he’s died. He’s dead, sitting there at his stupid desk in an uncomfortable chair, shirt buttoned up to his chin, knocked from this earthly plain. There’s no possible way you were actually interested in seeing him.
“…Agent Kandomere?”
Shit
“Yes, I’d be pleased.”
Real smooth.
And so plans were made, arrangements planned, and a date set.
Kandomere stood in his room, his reflection showing poise, elegance, refinery. His nervous system? Sweating.
His fancy watch ticked, a reminder to the man to get a move on.

Okay, so I'm wildly aware that no one asked, but consider: Halloween and/or Samhain with Kandomere.
Like, image a Halloween masquerade party and drinking Spiced apple cider and/or wine and with Barmbrack And soul cakes.
Imagine sharing pomegranates as an allusion to Hades and Persephone with the changing of the seasons.
Like, just consider how Perfect it would be to share Halloween/fall/Samhain traditions with him.
Also, as @damalseer mentioned in the notes: With Kandomere being Latin, you could also use Dia de los Muertos, which I also love. I can’t believe I didn’t think of that along with Halloween and Samhain.

A Long Night Ahead
Word Count: 1.7k
Warnings: Language, Sexual Content, (NSFW, 18+ Only)
Kandomere leaves slow, sensual kisses across your breast, “We’ve both been too stressed for far too long, Querida.”
You arch your back into him and moan softly.
You can feel his breath dance across your skin as he huffs a laugh against your body. Both of you are laid across your bed, Kandomere on top of you as usual with not an article of clothing between you.
“I agree we both need this,” Kandomere breathes.
“I need you,” you say softly.
Kandomere leans up towards your face and kisses you, “And you’ll have me,” he says as he parts from your lips.
You arch your neck up towards him again and search for his lips. Your elven boyfriend happily obliges and melds his mouth against yours, his tongue parting your lips and slipping into your mouth. You moan into his mouth and all too soon he’s pulling back again. Kandomere’s body starts to lift off of yours as he slides backwards and in between your legs. You shift your knees and bite your lip in excitement and Kandomere smiles and starts to lift your right leg over his shoulder. You lift your other leg and he shifts your weight to comfortably rest both your legs on his shoulders. He grips your right thigh in one hand and in the other strokes his index finger through your folds. Your eyelids flutter and he reaches your clit and gently circles it once, noting your reaction.
Satisfied, he dips his head down and runs his tongue up you in one, long swipe.
You can’t help but choke out a noise.
The elf then wraps his lips around your clit next, sucking long and hard and your hand goes to his hair. You bury your fingers in the soft, blue strands and tug gently, earning you a grunt that reverberates through your body. You know you’re not hurting him, you’ve asked many times if it hurts to tug on his hair like this, and he has assured you that he finds it incredibly sexy. Kandomere swirls his tongue and your fingers scratch his scalp and he hums his contentment.
He derives pleasure from well…your pleasure.
You struggle to keep your head up so that you can watch him. His beautiful, blue locks are tucked securely behind his ears and cascading down his back, his strong back muscles flexing as he shifts your legs again so that his tongue can get more reach.
Fuck, he’s so good looking.
Kandomere wraps his lips around you again and his face shifts so that he can watch you watching him. He quirks one brow at you and you smile, before smoothing down his hair affectionately to lightly brush his ear. You see his eyes wrinkle and feel his mouth lift up and you both almost forget what you’re doing. But Kandomere’s eyes harden with determination before he closes them and groans loudly against your vulva. It feels and sounds so sexy that you let out a shivering moan of your own, your head falls back onto the pillow and you can hear Kandomere chuckle lightly as he lifts his head from your core.
You open your eyes to meet his gaze.
“Do you need more?” he asks stroking your thighs.
“Yes, please,” you say softly.
Kandomere smiles a toothy grin as he dips his head back down, lips gently covering the sharpened points as he kisses you in your most intimate of places. He then shifts your left leg on his shoulder so that your ankles are interlocking and he inserts a finger into you. You sigh in relief, this whole time you were clenching around nothing, with your spasms only growing in intensity. Kandomere hums as he continues to eat you out, his finger gently stroking you. You moan softly and look down at him and focus on his face and slowly start to rock your hips.
You don’t want to accidentally smack him in the nose like that one time.
He had told you it was alright and that it was an accident, but you still had profusely apologized. Kandomere grips your hip in his left hand and encourages you to move faster, and you do.
The two of you finding a rhythm and rocking together.
You start to pant heavily as the tension in your body builds. And then it hits you and you moan and whine and when you start to relax, Kandomere lifts his head.
He gets a breath of air as you try to calm your racing heart.
He nods and raises his brows.
And you nod back.
He swiftly dips his head back between your legs and works you towards another orgasm, this time adding a second finger. His pace is much faster as he works his tongue and fingers in concert with each other. Your second orgasm builds faster than the first and comes crashing over you and it feels so good, you don’t want it to stop just yet, you need more.
“Kandomere, don’t stop!” you pant, “Keep going, please!”
And spurned on by your cries and your moans, Kandomere keeps sucking on your clit and pumping his fingers in and out of you and works you from the end of one orgasm to the beginning of another. You moan at his touch and he moans with you, no doubt feeling your body clench tightly around his fingers. Your third orgasm approaches and washes over you and it’s somehow more intense than the ones before it, so much so that your body goes lax the moment it’s finished.
Kandomere chuckles breathlessly and kisses your clit before kissing both of your thighs and lifting your legs. You stare up at the ceiling and catch your breath as Kandomere crawls up your body.
A curtain of blue hair blocks your view and he leans down to kiss you.
You wrap your arms around him and the elf lays his full weight on top of you.
You cup his face as you continue to kiss and then he parts from your lips and trails kisses down your neck. You tuck your face into his shoulder and just breathe in his scent and move your hands over his body. Kandomere gives you several moments to recover as you happily nuzzle into him, letting you decide when you’ll both continue. He’s fairly content to rest his own face in the crook of your neck, so much so that you have to nudge his face with your own to get his attention.
He pulls back to look at you.
“Ready?” you whisper.
He nods.
The elf lifts himself up onto his arms and aligns his hips with yours.
He makes eye contact with you and you maneuver your hand around his neck to rub one of his ears.
He moans softly in response and then drags his length across your folds.
You roll your head back and he bites down on your neck.
You gasp and moan.
Kandomere then parts your folds with his fingers and slips his head into you. Your mouth opens wide and Kandomere watches you with hooded eyes, you look up at him as he slowly pushes in. Once he’s fully inside, you lift your head to his and he meets you halfway for a kiss. You cup his face in one hand and drape the other over his back as he begins thrusting.
Already sensitive, your body starts clenching immediately, causing Kandomere to squeeze his eyes shut and groan. You watch him above you and marvel at just how lost he is in you and then you pull him down to bite his neck.
He growls in your ear and you feel your whole body shiver at his timbre.
You let go of him and kiss his neck softly as he rocks faster into you.
Kandomere then returns the favor and bites down onto your soft throat and you moan, “That’s it…that’s the spot.”
He bites again and one of his hands come up to play with your breast. The heat grows in your abdomen and your face flushes as you grow closer to yet another orgasm. Kandomere’s thrusts start to become erratic and you rock your body harder against his to get him to cum faster.
His body shakes and then he finally groans out against your neck and cums into you.
The sounds of him orgasming causes you to cum again and you moan loudly and then slowly fall quiet again.
Kandomere stills finally and you rub your hands down his sweat-soaked back.
Your heart is beating frantically and you inhale and exhale slowly to calm it back down. Kandomere lifts himself up and pulls out of you and then tiredly  gets up from the bed to remove the condom, you exhale heavily and roll onto your side to face his side of the bed. He returns to you shortly and before he’s even on the bed himself, his arm has wrapped itself around you and tugged you toward him. The elf tiredly settles himself on the bed next to you and then his lips engulf yours in a burning kiss.
He’s forced to part from them to suck in a gulp of air and he just stares at you for a moment. You rub your forehead against his and he returns the gesture.
You curl up against his side and he buries his nose in your hair and sighs deeply.
You giggle lightly, drawing a chuckle from the elf’s lips.
You kiss his chest a few times and stroke your hand over his body.
Kandomere gingerly strokes your hair and pulls the covers around you, covering your exposed skin from the cool air. You both lay there in silence for a long while and though you are a bit tired, you don’t feel the least bit sleepy. But you do feel content and you feel happy to be sharing this intimate moment with the love of your life. And though you are tired you wouldn’t be opposed to continuing this night like this, and Kandomere must be thinking the same thing, because his hand starts to stroke down your side, past your ass and his fingers dip between your thighs.
He growls when his fingers come back slick with your fluids.
You stare up at him as he slowly licks them clean.
You push back from him and he rolls over onto you again.
You reach up with both hands and rub his ears and smile.
He finds your lips in a hungry kiss and starts to rub himself against you.
So it’s going to be one of those nights…
