When the war between the Admiral Fleet and the Pirate King was ended by an unlikely alliance of humans, merfolk, and dragons, most of the world went back to their lives. The threat was over, the waters were safer than they had ever been. For the first time in a long time there was peace.

The small crew of the Hellish Howl returned to their island home, building lives of their own with the finned pod who had become their family. The Admiral fleet left to clear the newly discovered Pirate Isles and claim all the glory that came with it.

But one person could not go back to the life they'd once known.

Deep in the cells below the fleet headquarters, a traitor forgotten by most remembered that which had been taken from him.

And in the dark, he drew his plans against those who had stolen his life and his love all in a single day.

Kacchako is really good to me cause I just think about them being in a nice healthy and loving relationship and then Deku's there for some reason too. That's their joint bff, they love him so much and he'd be so supportive of them.
