Puzzlevision : Puzzles travels (+ Leggy's funsies) Episode 2

Puzzles travels

(Mr. Puzzles and Leggy are in Sarasaland, observing a pyramid)

Mr. Puzzles : Ooh, such a perfect structure ! This intricate design and immaculate shape was surely the work of a genius !

Leggy : Oooh !

Mr. Puzzles : Though Leggy... I understand why you wanted to come here but next time, we're going to a place with NO desert, understood ? With the Desert of Irrelevant Youtubers in the Internet Graveyard and now this... I'm getting tired of visiting deserts.

Leggy : Okay !

Mr. Puzzles : Now... which way to Daisy's castle again ?

(Leggy points in the direction with one of her legs and start running in said direction)

Mr. Puzzles : Leggy, wait ! Urgh, well here we go...

(He runs after her. The screen goes black with the text "BIRABUTO KINGDOM" in white letters, to indicate which part of Sarasaland they're starting to explore)

(The Birabuto Kingdom theme, which is also the SMG4 outro theme, starts to play)

Mr. Puzzles : Urgh, it's that obnoxious music SMG4 uses... Let's change it to something better !

(Mr. Puzzles claps his hands twice and the music changes to his own theme. Mr. Puzzles and Leggy happily skip along as everyone else's ears burn in the background when they walk past them. A Bombshell Koopa even straight up explodes from it)

(They walk for a bit, and Mr. Puzzles slowly starts realizing that the people don't like his theme)

(Mr. Puzzles : Urgh... Looks like the people here can't stand good music. Let's leave, Leggy. We don't have time to waste around a bunch of ingrates)

(He clearly insists on the word ingrates so that the people around hear him well)

(The screen goes black again, this time indicating "MUDA KINGDOM")

Mr. Puzzles : Oh no... Water everywhere... We're gonna have to be careful, Leg-

(Leggy is already running off)

Mr. Puzzles : Leggy ! Come back here ! You're supposed to be the straight man in our dynamic ! Leggy !

(Suddenly, a UFO comes by and uses a traction ray, which Leggy gets caught into as she wasn't paying attention, and it slowly brings Leggy towards the saucer)

Leggy : EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !

(Mr. Puzzles notices and starts to panic)

Mr. Puzzles : Leggy !

(Mr. Puzzles franctically looks left and right to find something he could use to help. He spots a Bombshell Koopa just walking around. He has an idea. He grabs it and throws it at the UFO, making it explode and freeing Leggy, who's starting to fall, as the traction ray brought her pretty high up in the air. Mr. Puzzles runs to catch her, but she falls on top of him instead, the speed of her fall making Mr. Puzzles fall face first on the ground. Leggy though, is unharmed. Mr. Puzzles stands back up and looks in Leggy's eyes)

Mr. Puzzles : Leggy... I TOLD YOU NOT TO RUN OFF !

(Leggy audibly sticks out her tongue to him)

Mr. Puzzles : We really got to work on your manners.

Leggy : Manners... dumb ! Having fun is better !

Mr. Puzzles : Sigh... Whatever, let's just continue. But can you at least promise me to not run off anymore ?

(Leggy rapidly nods repeatedly.)

Mr. Puzzles : Good. That joke of you constantly running off was starting to overstay its welcome, and nobody likes a joke that goes on for too long.

(Mr. Puzzles turns to the audience and shows an image of SMG4 on his screen to portray his words and take a subtle jab at SMG4)

Mr. Puzzles : Now, ONWARD !

(The screen shows the scenery as Mr. Puzzles and Leggy walk in. We see that Dio Brando is here for some reason. Mr. Puzzles approaches him)

Mr. Puzzles : Excuse me, good sir, we're looking for directions. First, could you perhaps tell me what is the name of the Kingdom we're in right now ? I'm trying to remember, but it's useless...

Dio : MUDAAAAAA !

Mr. Puzzles : Oh right. Thank you. Do you know how long it will take to get to Princess Daisy's castle from this Kingdom ?

Dio : WRRRYYYYY !

Mr. Puzzles : Excuse me, what ?

Dio : KONO DIO DA !

Mr. Puzzles : ...I think he might be stupid.

(Mr. Puzzles was thinking to himself a bit too loudly, as Dio heard that, and he's not happy)

Dio : ROAD ROLLER DA !

(He summons a giant road roller and starts chasing Mr. Puzzles with it. Meanwhile, Leggy is a bit further away, doing as Mr. Puzzles told her. She's peacefully sitting near the water, looking at the fish and even catching one herself with just her mouth. She's proud that she managed to do this and happily bounces. Suddenly, Mr. Puzzles approaches, running at high speed with Dio and his road roller on his tail)

Mr. Puzzles : Leggy, I take back everything I said earlier ! YOU NEED TO RUN !

Leggy : EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !

(Mr. Puzzles grabs her as he passes next to her, and he notices she still has the fish in her mouth)

Mr. Puzzles : Where did you get that ?

Leggy : Leggy fishes... All on her own !

Mr. Puzzles : That's great, Leggy ! Now give me that !

(Mr. Puzzles grabs the fish from Leggy's mouth, and throws it behind him. Leggy is sad that she lost the fish she caught all by herself, and looks at it sadly as they run further away from it. Dio's road roller slips on the fish and goes out of control, which causes Dio and the road roller to fall into the water. Mr. Puzzles stops running and puts Leggy down)

Mr. Puzzles : Phew... We escaped him. Good job, Leggy ! We-

(Leggy has tears in her eyes and repeadly hits his leg)

Leggy : Mr. Puzzles, mean ! Leggy was proud of catching her first fish ! She caught fish for Puzzles, and Puzzles threw it away ! Puzzles is mean, mean, mean !

(Mr. Puzzles is taken aback, he didn't realize)

Mr. Puzzles : I- I'm sorry Leggy, I didn't know... I'll make it up to you !

(He runs to the water and puts his arm in it, trying to quickly catch a fish for Leggy, while also trying to keep his TV head away from it. However, he quickly removes his arm, as he didn't find a normal fish, but one of those fish Badniks from Sonic, which bites his hand and grabs onto it. Naturally, Mr. Puzzles starts yelling, as he has a robot fish biting his hand and refusing to let go)

Mr. Puzzles : AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !

(He starts running left and right and shaking his arm, desperately trying to get rid of the fish while still yelling. Leggy is watching this. Her sadness leaves as she can't help but laugh at this scene. But also because she's happy that Mr. Puzzles would go to such lengths to make her happy and to fix his mistakes. She runs to Mr. Puzzles and kicks the fish Badnik off of his arm and back into the water)

Mr. Puzzles : Thank you, Leggy. Now I have one more reason to stay away from the water... Oh er... but I gotta try again. I'll find a new fish for you !

Leggy : No it's okay ! Puzzles tried, Puzzles is good !

Mr. Puzzles : Are you sure ?

Leggy : Yes ! Now, ONWARD !

Mr. Puzzles : That's my line ! ...and there's nothing else but water in front of us. How are we supposed to keep going if there's no more ground to walk on ??

Leggy : Look !

(Leggy points with one of her legs towards a little submarine, which a Mario with the colors from Super Mario Land is about to enter)

Mr. Puzzles : Great find, Leggy !

(Mr. Puzzles runs to the greyscale Mario and kicks him into the water)

Leggy : Why did Puzzles do that ??

Mr. Puzzles : It's therapeutic, okay ?? Besides, he was gonna take the submarine that WE need !

(Leggy wants to argue that it wasn't even the actual Mario, but she just sighs and hops into the submarine)

Leggy : Puzzles is a bad good guy.

(Mr. Puzzles enters and sits down in the submarine as he replies)

Mr. Puzzles : Yes, I know... That's why I was a bad guy for so many years. My genius was never appreciated by the "good guys", so I found myself thriving as a villain who goes against the world that rejected me ! But I will become better ! It just takes time. I've only been a good guy for a few days, after all. But I wonder... Will make more friends during our travels... ?

Leggy : If Puzzles stops kicking them into water, maybe !

Mr. Puzzles : Haha, you're right. I'll think twice before doing that, next time.

(He looks at Leggy smugly)

Mr. Puzzles : No promises though.

Leggy : Come on !

Mr. Puzzles : I was just joking !

Mr. Puzzles and Leggy at the same time : Now, ONWARD !!!

(The submarine goes underwater. As Mr. Puzzles and Leggy go forward, Dio is in the background, cartoonishly drowning with his road roller next to him, and the greyscale Mario is sitting at the bottom of the sea floor, with his arms crossed and looking upset. Back to the submarine, Leggy is excitedly looking through the window)

Leggy : Fisheeeeeeeeeeeees !

Mr. Puzzles : You really do like fish, huh Leggy ?

(Leggy giggles happily as a confirmation)

Mr. Puzzles : Maybe it's because you're tied to Meggy, who used to be a squid and therefore to marine life in general. Or maybe "it's not that deep", and you just really like fish.

(Leggy had already stopped listening and went back to watching the fish until they arrive. The screen goes black again and reads "EASTON KINGDOM")

Puzzles : Alright, what awaits us now... ?

(A rock rolls towards Mr. Puzzles, he's caught off guard but still manages to jump over it just in time)

Puzzles : Who dares ?

Oh. Those are Moai statues... with arms and legs.

Leggy : Leggy will take care of it !

(Mr. Puzzles holds her back)

Mr. Puzzles : Leggy, wait ! We can't destroy such pieces of art ! Moai statues are part of this land's rich culture and history !

(Leggy groans in exasperation)

Leggy : Those aren't the actual statues !

(Leggy frees herself from Mr. Puzzles' grasp, and knocks the rock one of the Moai statues have thrown back at them, knocking them all away like bowling pins, with the "strike" message from Wii Sports appearing. Mr. Puzzles approaches and pokes one of the knocked out statues several times)

Mr. Puzzles : Huh, I guess you were right Leggy.

Leggy : Leggy's always right !

Mr. Puzzles : That's debatable.

Leggy : No, it's not !

(Their banter is interrupted by a flying machine landing near them. Out of it comes Professor E.Gadd)

Mr. Puzzles : Looks like I found our next means of transportation.

(Leggy knocks into his leg to catch his attention)

Leggy : This time, you ASK !

Mr. Puzzles : Urgh, fine...

(Mr. Puzzles approaches E. Gadd)

Mr. Puzzles : Excuse me, elder gentleman.

E. Gadd : Oh er yes, hello. What is it ?

Mr. Puzzles : My dear companion Leggy and I were wondering if we could perhaps borrow your flying machine.

E. Gadd : Oh, for sure ! I was looking for someone to test it anyway.

Mr. Puzzles : Very well ! Hop on, Leggy !

Leggy : You forgot something !

(Mr. Puzzles pats his pockets)

Mr. Puzzles : I don't think I did, what do you mean ?

Leggy : The magic word !

Mr. Puzzles : The- Oooooh. Right.

(He turns to E. Gadd)

Mr. Puzzles : Thank you, elder gentleman.

(Leggy hops in the flying machine and they take off)

Mr. Puzzles : Well that was easier than I thought.

Leggy : See ? Mr. Puzzles can be kind !

Mr. Puzzles : It's... not that big of a deal.

Leggy : Yes it is ! Puzzles becomes better ! Leggy proud !

(Mr. Puzzles seems touched, but he hides it quickly by acting sarcastic)

Mr. Puzzles : And since when are you my mother ?

(Leggy thinks for a moment)

Leggy : Hmmm... Since Leggy met Puzzles !

Mr. Puzzles : Please, you're not a parent. And even less mine ! I don't need one anyway ! Parents only cause trouble for their children. But...

(He pets Leggy's head)

Mr. Puzzles : I'm sure that, if you were a parent, you would be a great one. Not right now, though. You need more experience at life.

Leggy : So do you !

Mr. Puzzles : ...Yes, I suppose that is true.

(Mr. Puzzles looks down)

Mr. Puzzles : Look, Leggy ! We're flying above the bamboo forests of the Chai Kingdom ! Sadly, dear viewers, we're on a tight schedule, so we'll skip over this one and fly directly to Daisy's castle !

(The screen goes black one last time, indicating "CHAI KINGDOM" "DAISY'S CASTLE". Mr. Puzzles and Leggy have entered the castle)

Puzzles : Ooh, fancy ! I hate to admit it, but my mansion is nothing next to all this.

Leggy : Echo !

(Leggy's voice echoes throughout the corridor, making her giggle)

Mr. Puzzles : Leggy ! That's not how you behave in a royal castle !

Leggy : Leggy told you ! Leggy doesn't care about manners !

(She sticks her tongue out again. Then, Peach and Daisy arrive to welcome them)

Peach : Leggy ! How have you been ?

Leggy : Good ! You ?

Peach : Much better. Daisy and I have started to make plans to take the Mushroom Kingdom back ! But you might want to rest a bit before we start talking about this.

Mr. Puzzles : Oh, so that's why you invited us ! Well why didn't you say so earlier ? Before you stands a genius ! Someone with great knowledge of battle, strategy and conquest !

Leggy : So much so that he always loses, hihihi !

Mr. Puzzles : Leggy, shush ! Leading an army to battle isn't the same thing as battling a bunch of infuriating MARY SUES who's fate is to always win !

(He turns back to Peach and Daisy)

And I am GREAT at giving orders ! Allow me to demonstrate ! Leggy, do a flip !

(Leggy does a flip)

Peach : That's nice but I'm not sure...

(Daisy puts her hand on her waist and gives a sideways look to Peach)

Daisy : Come on, Peachy. We need all the help we can get.

Peach : Um, I guess... Fine. but are you sure you don't want to rest a bit, first ?

Mr. Puzzles : Please, I don't need to-

(Leggy has fallen asleep on the ground)

Mr. Puzzles : I guess she must have exhausted herself from running around like a child all day. Very well, we accept your offer.

Daisy : Great ! Peachy, can you lead these two to their rooms ? There's still some stuff I need to figure out for our attack plan.

Peach : Of course. Over here, you two.

(Mr. Puzzles gently grabs Leggy, who's still sleeping, and follows Peach)

Leggy's funsies

(The next morning, Leggy wakes up in a bed)

Leggy : Yawn... Where's Leggy ? Hm ? Oh yeah, Peach. Daisy.

(Leggy jumps down from the bed. Since she's still waking up, she notices only now that she's wearing a pair of orange slippers and light brown night cap, that her boots are waiting for her next to her bed and her beanie, goggles and headphones on the night stand. She quickly changes to her usual clothes when someone knocks on her door)

Peach : Leggy, are you awake ? Can I come in ?

Leggy : Yep !

(Peach opens the door and enters, she wears the same slippers and nightcap as Leggy did earlier, on top of orange pajamas since unlike Leggy, she has a body)

Peach : It's a bit silly, isn't it ? I was so busy buying dresses the last time we were hanging out that I forgot to buy pajamas. It's a good thing Daisy lended me some of hers. And she also gave these slippers and this hat to you. I put them on you since you were already asleep yesterday. Oh and she said you can keep them. They're yours now.

(Leggy smiles)

Peach : Now, breakfast is ready, so why don't we go downstairs to eat ?

(Leggy happily follows Peach. The scene cuts to Peach, Daisy and Leggy around a table with lots of food on it, which Leggy excitedly eats)

Leggy : Where's Puzzles ?

(Daisy puts her elbow on the table and the palm of her hand under her cheek to hold her head, which shows a smug expression)

Daisy : He's still in his room. For someone who would have refused to rest if it wasn't for you, he sure is enjoying his sleep.

(The scene cuts to Mr. Puzzles on his bed. His body retracted into his head and his screen reads "Sleep Mode". Back to the table, Peach gets up)

Peach : Oh yeah Leggy, you've GOT to taste my bamboo tea. I'll make some for you.

Leggy : Bamboo tea ?

Peach : Yep. Turns out bamboo leaves make for a great tea.

(Peach opens a cupboard but looks disappointed)

Peach : Ah, looks like we're out of bamboo leaves. I'll have to go back to the Chai Kingdom to get more. Maybe you could come with me, Leggy.

(Leggy nods)

Daisy : Say... You've interacted with SMG4 and his friends lately, right ? I asked Puzzles but he just went on a rant about how he hates SMG4 and the way he acts as if he's better than him.

(Leggy nods again)

Leggy : Yep, that's Puzzles for ya.

Daisy : So... Do you know how Luigi is doing ? I haven't seen or heard of him in years...

(Leggy thinks and scrolls through Meggy's memories)

Leggy : Hmm... He's good ! He has a flower shop !

Daisy : Yeah I saw that. I'm still upset that he hasn't invited me to see it ! He knows I love flowers ! I'm literally named after one ! ...Has he forgotten about me... ?

Leggy : You could visit him !

Daisy : I dunno... What if he doesn't want to see me anymore ?

Leggy : Leggy thought you're a strong princess.

Daisy : I am. So ?

Leggy : You can't know if you don't try ! Find him ! Kick the door of his house down !

(Daisy laughs)

Daisy : Geez Leggy, I didn't think you were so aggressive. But you're right ! We're gonna go take back the Mushroom Kingdom soon, I'll use this opportunity to go find him !

Leggy : That's the spirit !

Peach : Hey Leggy, are you done eating ? Before we kick anybody's door down, I'd like to go find those bamboo leaves.

Leggy : Oh. Yeah !

(Leggy jumps down from her chair)

Leggy : Yipee, let's go !

(One transition later, Peach and Leggy are in a bamboo forest of the Chai Kingdom)

Peach : Alright, you see the bamboo. Take the leaves and hand them to me. I'll put them in the bag. Well... you don't have hands so just give them to me however you can.

(Leggy goes in front of a bamboo and headbutts it several times to try and make the leaves fall, to no avail. Then she kicks it rapidly, it still does nothing. She climbs on top of it and jumps on it repeatedly. Still nothing. Out of frustration, she bites the base of the bamboo until it breaks and falls. She stomps it to assert her dominance on it. Peach comes back towards Leggy)

Peach : You can't remove the leaves from the bamboo yourself ?

(Leggy indicates no with her head, looking sad)

Peach : I think I have an idea !

(Peach pulls out a knife and starts cutting the bamboo that Leggy caused to fall. A few minutes later, she gives Leggy a bamboo knife)

Peach : There you go ! Sharp enough to cut the leaves, but not enough to hurt yourself with it.

(Leggy puts the handle in her mouth and starts jumping around with ninja-like movements to cut the leaves. She's overjoyed)

Peach : That was really cool, Leggy ! You looked like an anime ninja ! Let's keep going !

(Around a hour later, Leggy and Peach have gathered plenty of leaves, and are back to Daisy's castle)

Daisy : Ah, Peachy ! You're right on time ! We're almost finished figuring out our plan of attack for the Mushroom Kingdom !

(Peach and Leggy follow Daisy in her private quarters... well Peach and Daisy's private quarters currently. They sleep in the same room. Peach goes to prepare her bamboo tea, and Mr. Puzzles is already here, thinking as he looks at a map on a big table in the room)

Leggy : Puzzles is awake !

Mr. Puzzles : Yes well, I may not need to sleep, but I can't deny that it's nice from time to time.

Daisy : Right, right. Well as I said, our plan is almost complete. Wario and Waluigi took over the entire Kingdom during Peach's absence, and they have many people working for them. Hopefully, they aren't really discreet, and we found where they're hiding their asses.

(Peach comes back and serves her bamboo tea to everyone)

Mr. Puzzles : Oh sorry but I don't eat, and liquids especially mustn't make contact with my TV. Unless you want it to malfuction and trap you in one of my shows.

Peach : Erm, okay.

(Peach, Daisy and Leggy all now have a cup of tea in front of them)

Daisy : Anyway, there's just one little problem. We need an army to take on Wario and Waluigi's and overthrow them, but Sarasaland doesn't really have that. At least not a competent one... But Mr. Puzzles doesn't really have any friends, so he didn't have anyone to propose as our army.

Mr. Puzzles : Hey !

Daisy : Peachy, Leggy. Any ideas ?

Peach : Most of my Toads are still scattered all across the Mushroom Kingdom, and they're pretty incompetent when it comes to combat. Maybe we could ask Bowser ? He has an army, and he loves me so much, I would only need to ask him.

Daisy : First of all, I don't want you to have to interact with that creep. Second, he was stuck in the Internet Graveyard until recently, and Wario and Waluigi's army is actually his, who found itself new leaders in his absence.

Peach : Oh. Well we should still contact him. He might be able to convince his army to obey him again, giving us a big advantage.

Daisy : Urgh fine. But I'm coming with you ! And we still don't have an army.

[I]Leggy goes through Meggy's memories, trying to learn about a large group of people who could help, and she does find something.

Leggy : Bloopersville !

Daisy : Bloopersville ? Oh you mean that one town ! You think they could help ? I don't really know what kind of people live there.

Leggy : I'm sure !

Daisy : Okay I trust Leggy, and we're kinda desperate anyway. Me and Peachy will go talk to Bowser, while Puzzles and Leggy go to Bloopersville to convince its inhabitants to fight for the liberation of the Mushroom Kingdom. Is that fine with everyone ?

Peach and Leggy : Yes !

Mr. Puzzles : Usually I give the orders but that's fine by me.

Daisy : I have more authority and power than you !

(These words are a critical hit against Mr. Puzzles, as he isn't in control of anything like he used to be. He doesn't find any kind of comeback to use and just stays silent)

Peach : Well Leggy, we're gonna split up again, but next time we really have to watch that anime we bought together, okay ?

Leggy : Okay !

Daisy : Alright since it's decided, we'll do that and go kick Wario's ass !

Peach : And Waluigi's.

Daisy : Oh yeah sorry. Wario's the one who sent Tatanga to invade Sarasaland all those years ago, so I still have a bit of a personal vendetta against him.
