hi first of all, before people say I'm supporting a predator, I am not. I'd like to stay neutral within theses allegations, as I have seen alot of both sides of the argument (there are alot of strengths and weaknesses to both sides of the argument which is why id also like to remain neutral and not have an opinion untill its all confirmed) unfortunately this is the world we live in and there has been many situations i have seen were the 'victims' are lying and i feel like i cannot teust anyone but if it is true my heart goes to the victims but yet again these are only allegations for now we have no way of proving anything yet.

But there is one question I'd like to ask, anyone can answer for all I care whether you support him or not. Why are we bring his religion into this? In my opinion I don't see the connection, okay maybe he's in some dodgy cult but what's that got to do with him bing a alleged predator? Also like in my last post, I don't know why we are unnecessarily involving who have nothing to do with the allegations.

One more point I'd like to bring up is how we are complaining about jutty being immature get we are spamming emails on the ghost management to fire jutty, I understand you want to feel safe in a ritual whenever that may be as do i, but tobias will no way in hell make a public statement about it as swiss and jutty are 'two separate beings' in the world of ghost and the public world and I doubt tobias is unaware of this situation as it is serious. And if the other unmasked ghouls don't want to comment about it or get involved please respect their decisions.

hi I'm sorry but after taking my time to just process the events of the past few days I wanted to talk about this

before I say anything, this is *my* opinion, feel free to come at me for it, but this is how *i* feel about the situation and you don't need to feel the same.

so obviously most of us heard the news personally I was heartbroken. even with the stuff that came out now, I'm not entirely sure about things.

one thing I do know is that *i* personally think jutty is most likely innocent. reading through both of his responses, the "evidence" picture backing up nothing, the slight differences in how the story doesn't match up, I think it's probably a misunderstanding.

from what I've gathered (as someone who doesn't use/have twitter) in both his responses jutty highlight that it was an accident and he didn't mean for it to happen. which I think a ton of people choose to look over. which is dumb. but anyways.

here's the second response, the actual apology people were oh so eager for him to write:

I feel like we can't know for sure what this means for him relating to ghost, but since the members are replacable and tobias probably cares a lot about the image he might hire a new guy. or, as someone who knows jutty better than all of is, and believes someone he actually knows over a stranger with zero evidence, he might end up staying.

overall, this doesn't concern ghost that much.

once again, this is just *my* opinion and it doesn't need to be yours too. I just thought I'd talk about it cause it frustrates me that so many people choose to look over some pretty obvious things

quick edit: also, I'm personally a fan of his work outside of ghost, and I do not think he would be excluded from drag talk, considering its his band💀 sure, they may kick him out of ghost but drag talk is *his* band. so uhm yes I hope that also clears things up, once again, this is my opinion, doesn't need to be yours.

Hi! It's been a while, and I know I'm late to this but I just wanted to put my opinion on the whole Jutty Taylor grooming allegations. So yeah, this is your last chance to scroll. Reminder that this is my opinion on what I think is right.

Now that that's cleared up. I think what Jutty did is disgusting. I know they're only allegations, and I know that some ppl are trying to prove that the proof the victim gave is fake. But, I will always support the victim until there is solid proof that the victim is lying. And when I mean actual proof that the victim is lying, i mean like someone doing a deep dive, with pictures, texts messages, or something like that that genuinely shows us that the victim is a liar. But for now, the victim is telling the truth. Because I would never forgive myself for not supporting a victim.

First of all. This whole thing shouldn't affect Ghost's fandom in any way, because Jutty isn't a part of ghost. He has nothing to do with that band, because that person you're thinking of, is Swiss. You're allowed to like Swiss bc Jutty and Swiss are in no way the same people.

Do NOT interact with me if you support Jutty Taylor and what he did. Block me, do whatever, idc. I do not want to associate myself with someone that supports ppl like Jutty.

This is a bit more personal and harsh, but I think ppl making excuses as to why we should still support jutty, or ppl being ignorant to the situation are genuine assholes. "Yeah but what if the victim is faking" What if they're not? Then what're you gonna go? Say shit like "Sorry for still liking this middle aged dude that I'm obsessed with even if he gr**med someone and Im sorry that I refused to believe a victim bc this middle aged dude is my idol" fuck that.

Ok people, crash course on the internet and social media!

Just because you see someone say something online doesn’t mean it’s true! And absolutely doesn’t constitute reason to target another person! God cancel culture is insufferable! Maybe you could try and keep your nose out of other peoples business and focus on your own shit, not something that maybe happened (with no proof, all ‘evidence’ goes to twitter/x.com and points to inaccurate info being spread). The internet warps everything, think long and hard before you follow the opinion of the flock, just because it prevails doesn’t mean it’s right (like so many things in current society). I will never believe allegations that come out of twitter, that is a platform of BS and lies, and BS lies!

It's really crazy how Cos is being attacked now because he posted a picture with Jutty. Lots of comments like "believe the victim first" or "why are you hanging out with perpetrators?".

First of all, why should Cos believe a stranger from the internet instead of one of his best friends who he has known for years? I think he knows more about the whole situation and knows Jutty much better than we do.

And besides, I think it's really crazy that people are calling for Jutty to be canceled and statements are being made like "you always have to believe the victim first, even if there is no evidence yet." I think it's better to remain neutral until there is evidence. And by that I mean real evidence and not some assumptions. Imagine if it came out that the account accusing Jutty was actually just a fake or something? Then, despite his innocence, there would already have been a witch hunt against him, he would have been canceled and his reputation damaged. And even if it was proven afterwards that he didn't do anything, this accusation would still stick to him. So why believe the victim without any evidence instead of remaining neutral and waiting?

According to this logic, I could accuse anyone, ruin their life with it, and they would still "have to" believe me without me having to prove anything. I know from my own experience how bad s3xual abuse can be and how long the consequences can haunt you and affect your psyche and sexuality and your ability to have a safe, healthy relationship.

But I still don't think it's right to start a witch hunt just because an account on a platform claims something without evidence. You can say a lot on the internet and it spreads like wildfire and at some point no one cares anymore about what is right or wrong because the witch hunt has already started.

I don't want to accuse the person of lying because I don't know. I don't know whether their statement is true or whether Jutty is right.

I just think it's important to remain neutral for now. If something really did happen, then it will get cleared up and sooner or later there will be justice for it.

It is not our job to judge a matter about which we have only the bare minimum of information.

I’m sad about how the whole situation has been going with Jutty Taylor and the other members, because it’s now become something that could be the end of an era. Quite literally.

I know it could happen anyway for such valid reasons too, but I’m sad that it has come to this. I’ve seen calls and viral hashtags and campaigns towards Loma Vista and RSE Management to have four ghouls removed from the band.

Like when will it stop?

It’s unfortunate that this is how people choose to waste their time, but I wouldn’t put any stock into what a select group of fans are saying and doing to “remove” members of the band. I think it’s disgusting that fans have developed a mob mentality over this. Anyone saying they have “insider” knowledge are full of shit. They’re just playing into whatever fantasies fans have about the band’s direction.

Criticisms of each individual musician are fine and understandable when warranted. Even more understandable are people expressing anger or frustration over serious allegations. However, we are neither judge nor jury re: allegations made by burner accounts on a platform notorious for starting rumors. That’s why I said it’s not our job to investigate them. No one on Twitter is qualified for that.

We don’t know anything that will happen in the future with Ghost. Changes may happen - that was always a possibility. We have no control over that. If Ghost gave in to every whim of a select group in the fandom, though, the band would crash and burn. Fans have got to trust that they know what they’re doing and if people don’t like their choices, they can leave just as they’ve done in the past.

hi, I want to give my two cents on what's been going on with Jutty Taylor and his behaviour towards young fans.

The initial allegations that were brought forward are MORE THAN substantiated at this point, the young person who brought these accusations forward provided more than was necessary.

It is no one's job to be microanalysing their story. You are not a detective, you are not the police. They have provided a photo and text messages. They have come out with their real name. That is more than enough, especially for a 15 year old.

Jutty Taylor eventually gave a proper apology but maintained that this was inadvertent; he didn't mean for it to happen. In his response, he said that he was hoping it would reach them and that he wanted to resolve this. As much as I've been thoroughly disgusted and disappointed by all of this, if he's serious about this, I am willing to wait and see if he actually follows through.

It is the victim's job to determine whether or not he is being truthful here. Not you. Let them come to that conclusion.

EDIT: this equally applies to people who are adamant he is telling the truth and those who are adamant he is lying.

You weren't there so you can't make that assessment, and while we all should be BELIEVING THE VICTIMS when they say what happened, there is no way you can parasocially analyse what is or was going on in his head.

Let's leave this up to the victims please, since a lot of these discussions tend to get bogged down in "he'd never do this" or "I think he's telling the truth" or "I think he's being performative here" or "I think he's lying" like, no, no you don't know any of that actually.

Jutty also responded to other allegations that had been brought forward - about inappropriate interactions in DMs with a 19 year old. He provided some context to a screenshot that was circulating, where it looked like he was encouraging underage drinking.

My thoughts about this are that going forward, he needs to be drawing some hard lines in the sand about how he interacts with his fans. It was inappropriate because he is an artist and they are his fan, and there is a significant age gap there. I think there is a concerning pattern of behaviour here.

Please, let's not throw around words like "p*dophile". This has a very specific definition, and watering it down is extremely unhelpful and does more harm than good. You can refer to his actions as predatory, and call him a creep, but please, let's not use this word when there are no victims who are prepubescent children.

Feel free to disagree with me, by the way. I think it's important for us to discuss these things.

I have seen a little bit of talk about what had happened and this is my input. I am not discrediting the victim, in fact I am believing them until Jutty comes out and says something with a bit more depth and explanation. I've had several content creators I adored in the past get canceled and face allegations (I was a fan of Skydoesminecraft, miniladd, ohmwrecker, wilbur soot, like bro i had so many cc i adored end up being pieces of shit)

And for now, my input is. Don't blindly harass and harm the victim. Don't do that. You are not high and mighty for harassing a victim because "Oh [blank] wouldn't do that!" You don't know the person personally. Don't form parasocial relationships. Separate the character from the celebrity. Don't bully/harass/dox, ANYTHING HARMFUL.

Ryu i just wanted to let you know of something. This may or may not be true, but there was an account on twitter saying that they got SA by Jutty Taylor (aka swiss) while he was performing for his other band “drag talk.” I just wanted to give you the heads up incase this really is true and later in the future you draw Swiss. I know you keep the ghouls and the people who play them separate, but i thought it’d be nice to give you a heads up so you know what you’re going into. I can send another ask later if you want explaining more about it, but from what I’ve heard there are allegations on Jutty.

The thing about twt allegations are most of the time I don’t believe them. I think people just Willy nilly throws some allegations either for clout or because of whatever malice reasons there is.

If it turns out to be true then I don’t think I’ll have a problem with it? Since like you said I drew Swiss differently and don’t associate him with Jutty at all.

so regarding what just came out about Jutty Taylor, I always stand with the victim. regardless of whether the allegations are true or not, I would rather support a potential liar over a potential criminal. I don't pay much mind to the unmasked ghouls typically but I wanted to make my stance here clear that until he proves otherwise, Jutty is guilty in my eyes.

If someone uses "AI detectors" for text as concrete evidence, I won't take them seriously and you shouldn't either.

On multiple occasions now, individuals in this fandom have said they "ran [insert individual]'s words through an AI detector and found it to be likely AI generated" whenever there is a controversy about what the individual said or did and it's very frustrating to me as that is not a reliable tool nor is it helpful.

e.g. Fans claimed the text on Per Eriksson's website was AI generated because they didn't like what he said in a livestream.

e.g. Fans claimed the text on Jutty Taylor's apology was AI generated because they didn't like the way he addressed serious allegations against him.

I've read books on AI. I have a background in linguistics. I have a basic understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP). By no means am I an expert on AI, but AI detection tools are also... AI.

They do not accurately or reliably detect AI, especially when it comes to ordinary human written interactions.

Sure, anyone can type a prompt into a machine like Chat GPT and get an AI generated response. How does it do that? AI learns by "reading" human text. A lot of it. AI doesn't read or process language like we do, though.

You can feed it a huge corpus (bodies of text) and it will identify things such as which words are most likely to occur together, and then make predictions based on that. AI has a tendency towards brevity. It also struggles with cohesion and coherence. It also isn't likely to produce very personalized responses.

Human language is formulaic, and thus if you put a human written piece such as an apology that usually comes with formulaic phrasing and vocabulary into an AI detector, there's a 50/50 shot that it's going to say likely AI generated or likely human generated because AI learns those formulas to produce writing.

"AI detectors" aren't reliable, just like lie detectors aren't reliable. It is snake oil. You can do your own research to find that out. I'm not saying this to be defensive. This is just part of a larger problem in re: to media literacy - people accepting something as fact or evidence because a special tool told you so.

You can't just say that's definitively AI whenever you disagree with someone or something, especially using a tool that's fallible.
