justinbaldoni We didn’t realize it until it was over... but we just had our last scene (together) as Rafael and Luisa. 😭😭😭Wow. It really feels like yesterday that we sat and had breakfast together five years ago before we shot the #janethevirgin pilot to talk about our our (interesting and complicated) relationship. The craziest part about it, was that Louisa’s character was only supposed to be in two episodes! But because @yaritafrita is so freaking brilliant and steals every scene she is in - she became one of the back-bones of our show. It’s been such an incredible and beautiful journey. Yara- I can’t wait to see what you do next. I love you TV sis, and I will forever cherish our time together. #thefinalseason

My cast for the first movie I want to make when i’m done with film school:
Spin-off for ‘Bring It On’ called  ‘The Clovers’
Ryan Destiny - Captain, Mega Bitch with the Skills to lead an Army. Obsessed with her mom’s approval. Most wanted girl in school
Normani - Dating Ryan’s Ex, Best Tumbler on the team but inconsistent in dedication. Next Captain when Ryan graduates if she gets her act together
Justine Skye - Best Friend to Ryan, smokes too much, gives great advice while beating your face to the the gods
Briyonce - Heavy set cheerleader but most confident and best dancer on the team but no one takes her seriously because she loud, goofy and “Fat” (I.E. Inspired by Mercedes of Glee)
Chloe Bailey - The bad bitch that get things done. Future attorney of law; only a cheerleader to make her college resume more impressive. Captain of debate team.
China Anne McClain - Briyonce’s ride or die and the loudest most ‘ratchet’ of the bunch. ‘You fighting, i’m fighting too’ type chick. Also an all-state track star.
Herizen Guardiola - The witty quiet one who’s super gorgeous but doesn’t know it yet. She’s the least confident but is somehow the glue that makes them work.
Yara Shahidi - The stereotypical pretty girl with an ego expect she does this to overcompensate for the fact she’s a childhood cancer survivor.  Younger sister of Zendaya but different dads.
Zendaya - Super gay. She’s out to the school but not to her parents. People tell her all too often “You’re way too pretty to be gay”. She’s only cheering for her mom’s approval and until softball season starts, duh. Has at least one smoke session a day with Justine next to the bleachers behind the old gym.
Gabrielle Union - Ryan’s mom and now the head coach of the team and Vice Principle at her school.
Simone Biles and Gabrielle Douglass - Extra girls on the team.

Other than zucest, what other -cest ships are you into?
Oh boy, that's a loooong list.
I ship of bunch in GOT/Asoiaf. Cersei X Jaime by far my favorite, but I also ship Cersei with both Tyrion and Tywin. Ned X Lyanna, Oberyn X Ellia, Theon X Yara/Asha (I mean, come on, they were full on groping each other when Theon first came back to the Iron Islands, and I'm forever frustrated that they didn't fuck), Arya X Jon, Jon X Rob, Dany X Viserys (*sighs* if only he had been less of a dick and protected his baby sister, they could have been an incest couple to rival the Lannisters)... there's just too much possibility for incest on that story XD
Another one has a lot of incest ships, to the point that is hard to find one that isn't incest is the Percy Jackson Universe. All the gods and demigods are related, and that is incest no matter what BS Riordan claims so his books can still be sold to children.
There's also Nezuko and Tanjirou from Demon Slayer, as well as River and Simon from Firefly.
I really like Elsa and Anna from Frozen - but that is more of a "I'm not blind" than a "I ship it"
There was a ship from my childhood that I had completely forgotten about until recently, which is Justin and Alex Russo from Wizards Of Waverly Place. There's also Casey and Derek from Life With Derek, but that one doesn't really count in my eyes since they're step-siblings and only met as teenagers, so they never really saw each other as family in the first place.
Edit: I forgot Norma X Norman Bates from Bates Motel

1, 2, and 3 for the sweet asks?
thanks so much for the ask- sorry about the wait!!
-
1. What’s your OTP in your fandom(s)? What do you love about them?
i don’t really OTP tbh, i don’t really feel much with romance and i don’t really have any ship i’m super interested in by itself- unless there’s dumb discourse around it, where people make out one character to be “unworthy” or somehow worse than another love interest- then i tend to stick up for it.
Ron x Hermione (Harry Potter)
Dean x Seamus (Harry Potter)
Clem x Violet (TWDG)
Markus x Simon (DBH)
Josh x Connor (DBH)
Kara x Luther (DBH)

All of your fave celebs are obsessed with this fashion-forward Levi's line
To celebrate 501 day, the birthday of Levi’s iconic blue jeans, the historic brand has brought together more than 20 stylish celebrities — from Amber Valletta to SZA — for its biggest celebration yet. In a portrait series to toast the launch, these celebs show us how to style the new collection.
Hollywood stylist Karla Welch, whose clientele includes such people as Karlie Kloss and Justin Bieber, was positioned to lead the creative for the exclusive nine-piece Levi’s x karla 501 Day Collection. Welch tells Yahoo Lifestyle, “It’s epic! To work with the most iconic denim in the world is a dream come true.”
For the collection, Welch put her spin on Levi’s classic 501 jeans, adding a pleat detail on one version and making the back pocket out of red patent leather on another, as well as adding it to the brand’s iconic western shirt. Other hits from the line include a fringed trucker jacket, which Welch says derives from her love for the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading outfits, not necessarily the sport. “I don’t even like football — but I remember watching Dallas with my mom and the cowgirls were in the opening montage — I loved their costumes! So the bright white and blue just brought me back!” Welch shares with Yahoo Lifestyle.
One of the standout items is the reversible sherpa trucker jacket, worn by both SZA and Sarah Paulson in the portrait series. Don’t be surprised if you see all the “it” girls — from Bella Hadid to Kaia Gerber — sporting this jacket soon.
Amber Valletta stars in the collection’s look book, in addition to the portrait series, which spotlights Yara Shahidi, SZA, Tracee Ellis Ross, Hailey Baldwin, Karen O, and Sarah Paulson among many others. There are not many fashion labels that can bring together women at the top of their league across fashion, film, and music.
To toast the collection (which officially launches on Sunday, May 20), Levi’s held a special concert on Wednesday at L.A.’s famous Hollywood Palladium, featuring an all-female star lineup: SZA, Karen O (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), and Lauryn Hill.
It might seem like the female focus, from Welch to the portrait series stars, and concert bash headliners were intentional, but in fact, it all happened organically.
“It wasn’t the intent when we started out. And it is worth noting that the collection is largely unisex. But as Karla started bringing her inspiring female friends into the mix — all outspoken, authentic women with something to say — we started to see an all-female focused project as really bold and relevant in today’s cultural climate. There is such a broad range of women featured, across age, race, body type, personal style. It really emphasizes the democratic nature of the 501,” Jennifer Sey, CMO of Levi Strauss & Co., shares with Yahoo Lifestyle.
She adds, “In a time when women are being heard, speaking up, sharing their experiences, it just felt right. And hey, we’ve had all-male lineups in the past, and it was never newsworthy. Just felt like high time for the ladies to have a moment!”
In honor of the collection, Levi’s is making a donation to the Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund. “We are so inspired by the strength and outspokenness of the young people across the country who are leading a national conversation about gun safety. It’s an important conversation centered around the health and welfare of our kids and our communities. And the equal right to safety. We aren’t prescribing an answer, just supporting the conversation,” says Sey.
Welch adds, “That’s the ethos of my company and what I do. I think it’s a new form of retail for there to be a conscious component. I want to use my platform to help get resources to organizations that advocate for social justice. Most Americans agree that we need some form of gun reform; most gun owners agree! Everytown is an organization that can help get this done.”
Ahead, see highlights from the portrait series for styling tricks, and shop the nine-piece Levi’s x karla 501 Day Collection on May 20. It retails between $150 and $420 and will be available on Levi.com, in select Levi’s® stores, and at Dover Street Market New York.

11 Black Stylists Behind Your Favourite Celebrity Looks
I can’t be the only one who still gets chills thinking about Demi Lovato’s emotional return to the Grammy’s earlier this year — or, for that matter, the ethereal Christian Siriano white gown she wore. The stylist behind Lovato’s white long-sleeved gown with structured shoulders and a studded bodice was Law Roach, a self-proclaimed “Image Architect” and judge on HBO Max’s Legendary. This wasn't his only memorable look this year: Roach was also behind Kerry Washington’s plaid Khaite dress for the Television Academy’s 2020 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Zendaya’s hot pink Tom Ford breast-plate at the Critics Choice Awards. Fellow stylist Jason Bolden, the co-founder of JSN Studio, dresses the likes of Alicia Keys, Gabrielle Union, Yara Shahidi, and Cynthia Erivo — the latter of whom he outfitted all throughout award season in stunning looks from Thom Browne, Fendi, Versace, and Schiaparelli. And you can thank Zerina Akers, stylist and owner of Black Owned Everything, for every Chloe x Halle and Beyoncé look you’ve ever bookmarked. Then there’s June Ambrose who styles Jay Z, Jason Rembert who dresses Issa Rae, and Kollin Carter who’s behind Cardi B’s best looks. In other words, all the celebrities that make the best dressed-list cut get their looks from Black stylists. And yet, many stylists still have trouble pulling samples for their Black clients or for Black-focused publications. “I would do a shoot for the same talent in the same week for a black magazine as I did for a magazine that is not a black magazine and I would get totally different brands,” Rembert told The Wall Street Journal earlier this year. Now more than ever, it’s important to change that narrative, and, in doing so, recognise, consult, and hire the Black stylists responsible for some of Hollywood’s most revered red carpet looks. Ahead, find a list of Black stylists to follow.
Jason Bolden
Stylist Jason Bolden not only dresses some of Hollywood's biggest names like Alicia Keys (who he recently styled for her InStyle cover), but he also stars on Netflix's celebrity styling show Styling Hollywood alongside his life and business partner Adair Curtis; co-runs the multi-disciplinary studio JSN Studio; and was previously the owner of The Garment Room, a vintage store in Manhattan.
Mecca James-Williams
Brooklyn-based stylist and editor Mecca James-Williams doesn't just excel in styling others, she's also known for her personal style — just scroll through her personal Instagram for proof. James-Williams' resume includes dressing Justine Skye for the cover of ESSENSE, styling the SS20 Chromat show during NYFW, and founding a home design inspiration platform Apartment 4.
Jason Rembert
In the last decade alone, Jason Rembert has dressed Solange Knowles on tour, Lizzo for the cover of TIME, Ezra Miller for the 2019 Met Gala, and Michael B. Jordan throughout the entirety of the Black Panther press tour. That, and he launched his own fashion line Aliétte, which premiered at NYFW during the AW19 season.
Shiona Turini
Shiona Turini got her start in fashion by showing up to the Yves Saint Laurent New York office day after day until someone gave her a job. Now, Turini is a renowned celebrity stylist, editor, influencer, and the costume designer behind Queen & Slim and Insecure. She also crafted all of Beyoncé's looks for the "Formation" video.
Zerina Akers
In addition to being behind all of Beyoncé's sartorial moments in the "Ape Shit" video, Zerina Akers can also be credited for styling the many looks of sister duo Chloe x Halle and creating the company Black-Owned Everything.
June Ambrose
What about Jay-Z's looks in the "Ape Shit" video? His teal double-breasted suit sans shirt was put together by costume designer, author, and stylist June Ambrose. Ambrose's client list also includes Mary J. Blige and Missy Elliott, for whom she designed the vinyl suit worn in the rapper's “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)” music video.
Kollin Carter
When it comes to the Grammy's, the fashion theme is always "go big or go home." But no one's gone farther than Bronx-born stylist Kollin Carter for his client Cardi B, who, after being nominated for five awards at the 2019 awards ceremony, showed up on the red carpet dressed as an oyster's pearl in archival Thierry Mugler. Naturally, the internet went wild.
Law Roach
What do Tiffany Haddish, Ariana Grande, and Zendaya have in common? Law Roach as their stylist. The Legendary judge and celebrity go-to has made Hollywood Reporter's Top 25 Most Powerful Stylists list for the last two years and is responsible for some, if not most, of red carpet season's most buzz-worthy looks, including Zendaya's Poison Ivy-inspired green corset gown from the Emmy's.
Patti Wilson
Patti Wilson has been styling iconic editorial spreads for decades. As Vogue Italia's Editor-at-Large, Wilson has dressed them all, from Prince for L'Uomo Vogue to Lady Gaga for V Magazine. Other clients include Naomi Campbell, Kim Kardashian West, and Nicki Minaj.
Solange Franklin Reed
Zazie Beetz, Solange Knowles, Serena Williams, and Paloma Elsesser are just a few of the names on NY-based stylist Solange Franklin Reed's client list. Recently, Franklin Reed also worked alongside Michelle Pfeiffer, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Janelle Monae for the covers of The Sunday Times Style, Porter Magazine, and Them, respectively, and participated in London Fashion Week.
Wayman Bannerman & Micah McDonald
Styling duo Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald cannot be stopped. For the second year in a row, the twosome behind Tessa Thompson's BDSM-inspired Chanel couture look at the 2019 Met Gala has made the Hollywood Reporter's Top 10 Power Stylists of the Decade list. Kiki Layne, Regina King, and Logan Browning are also clients of the pair.
Like what you see? How about some more R29 goodness, right here?
