NOTICE: I am definitely not an official judge, I just enjoy the process of reviewing design. Note, if I seem harsh at all, it's probably because I liked your design, as I hold realistic designs to a much higher standard than casual ones, and I think critical feedback is more useful to designers who already have strong fundamentals in place.

@ignorantturtlegaming
Creature type mashup: Fox Dragon, 7/10. Foxes, cool. Dragons, even cooler. Gets me excited to see what they'll do together.
I like that you included both Fox and Dragon tribal on it, that's a fun application of type mashups like this. 4/4 flying haste feels like a Dragon, I suppose, though nothing feels especially Foxy about it. The color hosing isn't really something they do anymore, though it is interesting that it works well in all three colors: Green and Red are enemies of Blue, while White is the color of taxing.
--
@industrialsalad
Creature type mashup: Elder Vampire Sponge, 10/10. Using both the artifact type and the Elder subtype to indicate a fossil is great, and the three types actually feel like they tell a story together. Good job.
I actually really like this design, at its core. Moving counters onto itself definitely feels like a Vampire (and a Sponge), and coming back to life from a fossil feels really satisfying. The only complaint I have is that it feels like the payoff is pretty underwhelming. It costs seven total mana over five turns, and what you get out of it is... a 3/3? I get that it'll likely be bigger with counters on it, but unless you're getting lucky enough to pull those counters off of your opponents' stuff, you've paid for those counters separately. With a more exciting payoff, this would've been one of my absolute favourites in this challenge.

@ishouldgetatumbler
Creature type mashup: Elf Hydra Shaman, 7/10. I immediately picture an Elf with extra Hydra heads coming out of her shoulders. I'm not sure if that's your intention, but I can at least work out what it might mean.
The mechanics don't really feel like a GU creature; all of it is possible in just Green, as are the creature types. The mechanics are fine, if not particularly evocative of anything. It's not immediately obvious why it's Legendary, and the mechanics don't really allow me to get a sense of a particular character. I'm not sure the rate on it is reasonable until you're casting it for at least 6 mana, and probably not exciting until you're casting it for 9+, which means this is secretly a much more expensive card than it looks like.

@jsands84
Creature type mashup: Plant Cat, 9/10. The name is adorable, and the concept is great, and typing is unique. Nice choice.
The design itself is cute, and I certainly understand what it's trying to evoke. That said, repeatable fog effects really stall out the game: this card alone allows you to turn off combat for three turns. It's difficult to block profitably while it has counters on it, but if you don't block then it just keeps the counter to negate the backswing. It sounds like a really frustrating card to play against.
Conceptually, it bugs me that you can't blow off all the spores at once like a real dandelion - at least not to any effect. I'd consider reworking the activated ability to:
{G/W}, Remove X spore counters from ~: Prevent all combat damage X target creatures would deal this turn.

@justincase-1012
Creature type mashup: Snake Plant Hydra, 8/10. Plant Hydra is a thing they've done a couple times, specifically on Ravnica. Adding the Snake to it is clever though, and it visually satisfying with the flytrap theme.
This is pretty cute little design. It's got a lot of moving parts for a common, and is missing a couple of little intuitive things. Having a "flytrap" without Reach feels pretty off, and having it grant Deathtouch when it doesn't have Deathtouch also feels a little awkward. The fact that the counter it grants lasts longer than the Deathtouch is something they do occasionally, though in this case it's hard to connect with the flavour of the effect. Consider:
Defender, reach, deathtouch
~ enters the battlefield with three +1/+1 counters on it.
{B}, Remove a +1/+1 counter from ~: Target create gets +1/+1 and gains deathtouch until end of turn.
That version is likely an uncommon, but it already had quite a bit going on for a common.
--
@lyxine
Creature type mashup: Insect Dragon, 7/10. Insects, cool. Dragons, even cooler. I probably would've gone more dragonfly, just for pun value, but it looks like you opted for a Hornet Queen throwback.
The biggest problem with a Hornet Queen throwback is that Hornet Queen was pretty close to a color pie break: Green doesn't get a lot of flying, and armies of flying deathtouch tokens are really a thing it shouldn't be doing. If you had dipped into Black a little bit, you could've justified it better without losing your theme. Also worth pointing out that Lure effects aren't great to play against (they reduce choices) and should be used sparingly. Strangely, since all the Deathtouch tokens this makes have evasion, the Lure effect often won't actually do much anyway.
--
@mistershinyobject
Creature type mashup: Weird Zombie Dog, 5/10. Zombie Dog makes sense to me, but it's also been don't a few times. Weirds are a fairly specific thing that doesn't feel like it fits here. Based on the art, you may have meant Elemental Zombie Dog, which I'd buy a little more.
This is definitely a strange ability, but I'll admit I kinda like it. I'm not a fan of mixed hybrid costs, but I see why you were trying to work Black in to the reanimate ability. I'd probably pick either one cost or the other, and since the card is already UR I'd probably stick with that one, possibly limiting it to instants and sorceries to better fit the colors. Also, I'd likely reformat this to a triggered ability rather than an activated one, something like:
Whenever a creature you control becomes the only target of an instant or sorcery spell, if ~ is in your graveyard, you may pay {U}{R}. If you do, return ~ to the battlefield and change the target of that spell to ~. If ~ would die this turn, exile it instead.
--
@misterstingyjack
Creature type mashup: Devil Dinosaur Dog, 7/10. The art itself looks fantastic on this one, and you get bonus points for mashup alliteration.
I like that the mechanic is supposed to be a "retriever" effect, though I wish there was a little more obvious Dinosaur and Devil thrown in. The "lethal damage" bit doesn't actually work (it would be, "Whenever a creature dealt damage by ~ this turn dies..."), but that's an easy fix. Because the ability just checks the top card and only hits artifacts, it often won't actually do anything, which is a little underwhelming since that text takes up most of the card; that said, this thing is designed to be chump blocked all day, so you should get at least a couple chances to find a bone.
--
@nine-effing-hells
Creature type mashup: Angel Serpent, 7/10. Angels don't often get secondary types, so this is nice in that regard. The Serpent creature type is specific to sea serpents, so I'm curious to see what the Red is doing here.
The effect here is reminiscent of the original Avacyn, but only works about half the time (or more, in multiplayer). That said, even a small window of 'shields down' means this doesn't do a lot against instants; since it always happens on your turn that means you're always untapped, so I would almost rather see this effect in Blue-White, where you can keep counterspells up during your turn and then play at instant speed once the shields are back up. If nothing else, it does make me want to know more about the character.
--
@real-aspen-hours
Creature type mashup: Octopus Spider, 8/10. Obviously.
I think giving it Trample over Reach was probably a miss, but otherwise I really like the elegant overlap of classic Octopus tap-tentacles with classic Spider flying-hate. I think the rate on this is actually rather low, as Green can get 8/8 creatures with upside for about six mana; this is a pretty significant upside, but it's also a whole other color commitment. I think you could probably get away with costing this at 2UUGG, since it should probably be taking up a rare slot anyway.

Tumblr media
When planning an outdoor adventure, a cooler backpack is essential to maximizing your experience. Whether you're traveling by plane, camping, heading to the beach for the day, or enjoying a casual picnic, selecting the right features can make all the difference.
Let’s explore the key features to consider when choosing a Cooler Backpack.
Key Features to Consider When Choosing a Cooler Backpack
When selecting a Cooler Backpack, it's important to consider several essential features that ensure practicality, durability, and comfort for your outdoor adventures.
Versatility is Essential
A multifunctional Cooler Backpack is invaluable. It not only functions as a cooler but also provides dry storage or luggage space, making it a year-round companion. Its unique ability to switch between cooling and regular storage is a standout feature, enhancing the value of your investment. Additionally, external storage options are vital—can it attach to rolling luggage? Does it include secure pockets for small items like phones and water bottles? JustinCASE effectively addresses these needs.
Insulation and Cooling Performance
The primary function of a Cooler Backpack is to keep contents cold for extended periods. High-quality insulation is essential for maintaining low temperatures, even in sweltering heat. The JustinCASE 2-in-1 Backpack excels with premium insulation that keeps food and drinks cool for over 24 hours, making it perfect for long beach outings or weekend camping trips.
Durability
Outdoor gear must endure tough conditions, and Cooler Backpacks are no exception. Look for durable materials like rugged nylon or TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), known for their tear and abrasion resistance. JustinCASE backpacks are built tough, featuring a rigid yet soft-sided design using these high-quality materials. With a lifetime guarantee, your investment is secure.
Comfort and Ergonomics
Comfort is crucial when carrying a Cooler Backpack over long distances—whether hiking, navigating crowded festivals, or moving through airports. Features like padded shoulder straps, back padding, and adjustable straps can significantly enhance your experience. The JustinCASE 2-in-1 Backpack is designed for comfort, ensuring ease of carrying whether you're off to a game or an outdoor event.
Capacity and Size
Capacity is a vital consideration based on your outing's duration and size. For family or group trips, a larger backpack is essential. The JustinCASE Backpack boasts an impressive 38 liters of internal storage, providing ample room for snacks, drinks, and personal items without sacrificing portability. It’s also compact enough to fit in the overhead compartment on your next flight.
Extra Pockets and Storage
Effective organization is key for travel and outdoor activities. A well-designed Cooler Backpack should include additional compartments for quick access to essentials like sunscreen, keys, and phones. The JustinCASE 2-in-1 goes above and beyond, featuring mesh side pockets and secure compartments for easy access to water bottles, snacks, and personal items.
Portability
A Cooler Backpack should be easy to transport. Bulky designs can detract from convenience. The JustinCASE Backpack includes trolley straps and handles, making it simple to navigate through airports, especially when paired with rolling luggage.
Easy Maintenance and Cleaning
After regular outdoor use, your backpack is likely to get dirty, making easy maintenance essential. Look for Cooler Backpacks with wipeable liners or stain-resistant materials. JustinCASE backpacks are designed for effortless cleaning—just wipe down the interior after each use to keep it fresh and ready for your next adventure.
