I don’t know if anyone's mentioned this before, but Raine's titan badge after the time skip looks a bit different than the others:

They have this red piece of cloth attached to their badge that I haven't seen on anybody else.

Now, theorising time: I think they might be part of the new government, maybe even the president of the Boiling Isles. Hear me out, I have good reasons to believe so (and it's not just because they're my favourite character and I'm biased, shush):

1) As the former head of the Bard Coven, they'd certainly be qualified for the job: Raine has been part of the government before (as much as you can be when you're not the monarch in a monarchy lol) and knows how to lead.

2) They're probably more respected/trusted by the population of the Boiling Isles than most other public figures at this point - working together with the wannabe genocidal former emperor tends to ruin your reputation, so someone who led a rebellion against Belos (and fought against him personally in the final fight, though the question is if anyone except the people who were there knows about that) and has ties to other known rebels aka Eda should be quite well-liked.

3) They have already proven that they're able to make sacrifices for the sake of the whole Isles (for example: risking their own life and that of the woman they love to stop the Day of Unity in Eda's Requiem). Most of the other characters, like Eda and Luz, in comparison, have proven again and again that they would never be able to sacrifice someone they care about - which is an admirable trait, don't get me wrong, but you want a political leader to be able to consider what choices are best for everyone and compromise, if necessary.

4) It would be a great conclusion to their character arc: Raine spent half of their life trying to destroy the coven system from the inside and has witnessed its worst sides first-hand, let them be the one to build something new and better for the future of the Boiling Isled.

So in conclusion: Raine has the potential to be a great president....... as long as nobody forces them to make public speeches regularly.

Them being a member of the government would also explain why they are present when that coven sigil was removed: Why would someone who specialises in Bard magic be needed for something that seems to be based on Healing and Abomination magic? Because they're a representative of the government/the Boiling Isles!

I’m bored, so have a snippet from the first draft of a fic I’m writing.

It’s an adamsapple post season 2 amnesiac Adam fic based on this post by @yanderefoeyay

A weak sound of pain escaped from him.

His front was hurting. It was bleeding gold, which was weird- he thought his blood was red. He accidentally cut his knee once on a rock once, but he hadn’t known it could change colour like that.

His head was throbbing, and he felt woozy to the point where he didn’t need to squeeze his eyes tightly to see dots. It almost hurt more than his chest and his back. He was also wearing garments of some kind, which was strange, because he wasn’t wearing them when he fell asleep.

Lucifer wore garments, though. They were white, just like the ones he was wearing now. But these ones were getting stained with his blood.

He stumbled before being brought to his knees, and he realised that there was a strange four-armed creature in front of him. He squinted up at the humanoid figure, feeling uneasy at its presence.

Vulnerable? He’d never heard that word before, but it seemed like the right one to use.

Did Lucifer know what it meant? Maybe once him and Lilith came back from their talk- Lucifer called it a ‘discussion’- he would ask him. Then they would play with the ducks- Lucifer loved ducks. He’s always playing with them…

He faintly heard the figure say something, but before he could ask it to say whatever it was that it said again, darkness filled his vision and he fell into an unknown abyss.

He wondered if Lucifer would be there to greet him.

This is from chapter one. I’m on chapter two out of four at 5573 words with almost 4000 words for plot (for ramblings that resemble the plot). Hopefully I’ll finish the first draft next month, and then I’ll edit and ask some friends to beta it after doing the second draft! Can’t give a determined date for when it’ll be posted, though. Sometime this year though lmao

9. Could you be roommates with this character?

As long as he doesn't turn the kitchen into a warzone and then refuse to clean up (cough cough 2 previous roommates back to back + multiple in college when I shared w/6 other people), absolutely. Which I don't think he would so we're golden LMAO. They seem like they'd be a perfectly reasonable roommate. Also I don't think it'd fix them but I do think a weed gummy and some veg out couch time would at least not make them worse

18. Relationship with another canon character you admire

I could go on and on abt how much I love Sif and Odile's dynamic but truly they are soooo. Two people who are Bad At Feelings, but the older at least has the wherewithal to understand, most of the time, when she needs to buck up and be Honest even though that's Hard. The whole party understands Sif's anxiety ofc but I really think postcanon Sif will benefit especially from Odile's level head and incisive questions. And she's not perfect, either, she does have points of not pushing enough/pushing too much in the wrong way in canon (see: end of sus quest) but I think they can help each other be more honest, in a different but equally important way than mira and isa. Aghhhhhh I love them. I want to write more of them. fellow feeling was not enough
