“I’m just running into the music store really fast. I’ve got to pick up some new books for my lessons,” you said, your phone pressed against your ear and shoulder as you walked down the street.

“Well, just hurry back, okay?” your best friend’s voice was garbled, the sounding of splashing coming from the other end. “Alice, sit down. Seriously, Y/N, I’m starving.”

“We’ll go out to eat as soon as I get back,” you laughed, just as a shriek came from the other end. Presumably, Alice, your third roommate and canine best friend, had completely drenched Y/F/N as she was bathing her.

Y/F/N ended the call quickly without a goodbye. You chuckled to yourself, dropping your phone in your bag and heading into the music shop you’d just arrived at.

The place, right down the street from your apartment, had only just opened up a few weeks previous. You hadn’t been able to visit yet, although it was definitely a spot at the top of your list since the giant canvas blanket had been removed from the sign above the door: Ahn’s Notes.

Making your way inside, you pulled out your list of books you needed to buy for your lessons and headed towards the piano section. However, upon arrival, you become hopelessly confused. Instead of alphabetical by title, or hell, even by author, the piano books were thrown haphazardly around, some blown open the pages flying in the air conditioning. Others were leaking onto the floor from their spots on the shelves, the whole area appearing to be the piano section of a music shop after a tornado had come through.

Oh no, you groaned inwardly, realizing it would probably take you yours to find the exact books you were looking for. You took a step forward to trudge through the mess, your left foot crunching down on a piano book for Mozart beginners. You audibly groaned again.

“Can I help you with anything?” you heard a voice behind you, from the beginning of the aisle. Turning, you caught a flash of off red, pinkish hair, the bangs landing softly in a pair of crinkled, smiling eyes. You narrowed your own, angry that this boy was smiling while this aisle was so messy.

“Of course you can help me,” you snapped. “I can’t find anything over here. This place is a wreck.”

“Sorry about that,” he replied sheepishly, running a hand over the back of his neck as if he were in trouble. “It’s just me here, and I just opened up the shop a couple days ago. I’m still trying to find more help, and get this place neat.” Your heart softened a little. This poor boy, adorable boy had no idea how to run a music store, or any store for that matter. You handed over your list of piano books you’d need, and stepped back to let him look through the mass.

“Old McDonald? Twinkle Twinkle Little Star? Are you just learning how to play piano?” He asked, his voice muffled as he crouched down to continue looking. You rolled your eyes at his back, smiling a little.

“No, I’ve been playing since I was four. I teach piano lessons to some kids down at the church.” He handed back one book, its cover purple with a large cartoon lion on the cover. “Do you play piano?”

“No, I play violin,” he replied, his tone sheepish again. “Which is why the piano aisle looks this way. I just haven’t made my way over to here yet. And besides,” He stood up, holding the rest of your beginner books. You two began walking to the register. “I don’t know much about piano, so I’m not sure how to put the section together.”

“Well, I could help,” you blurted, not realizing what you were saying before the words were already out of your mouth. His face seemed to light up at that, identical dimples popping up on either of his cheeks.

“Wait, really? I seriously need someone to help me run the shop.”

You were skeptical, but the call of extra cash in your pocket was just too good to resist. Not only that, but this boy’s dimples were the last thing you wanted to let down. “Well, I could pick up a couple shifts a week…”

“This is amazing. Okay, let me grab your number and an application. Can you start tomorrow…?” He motioned as if he was grabbing the air, searching for your name.

“Y/N, and sure. I’ll be able to manage that.”

“I’m Junsung. It’s really nice to meet you.”

“It’s nice to meet you, too.” You pulled out your wallet, grabbing a few bills to pay for the books.

“Don’t worry about these. They’re on the house.” Junsung smiled, brushing your hand with his as he passed the stack of piano books and an application over to you. You felt your ears tinge with red, a blush creeping into your neck.

“By…bye. See you tomorrow,” you gasped out, heading straight for the door before Junsung realized how flaming your cheeks had become.

“Bye Y/N! See you tomorrow,” Junsung called, and when you glanced back at him before opening the door, you could have sworn he was smirking.

 no, i really don’t think so! nawaal’s a bit of an uncommon name, but i think it’s of arab origin and is somewhere in the qu’ran.

2 // when was the last time you cried? i am not the type of person that cries. at all. i really can’t remember that far back.

3 // do you like your handwriting?
 yeah, i do! it’s difficult to read but i personally think it’s quite pretty.

5 // do you have kids? i’m still in high school, brochacho.

 sure? i’m pretty irritable, though, so i don’t know.

8 // do you still have your tonsils? yup! and unlike most people, they don’t cause me any bother. 9 // would you bungee jump? nope! initially, i really wanted to, but i recently watched this video of a woman whose cord broke after she bungee jumped over some river. she survived, but it fucking scared me.

10 // what is your favorite kind of breakfast cereal? i really like regular cornflakes, or those cute little cinnamon roll ones. 11 // do you untie your shoes when you take them off? yeah! it really bothers me if my shoelaces are still tied while not on my feet.

12 // do you think you’re a strong person? i have no clue if this is meant to be physical or mental, but: i have a very strong body but an incredibly weak sense of will. 13 // what is your favorite ice cream flavor? i really like coffee ice cream, or classic ol’ chocolate. 14 // what is the first thing you notice about people? their height (i’m forever salty about being so short) and their eyes.

15 // red or pink? red !! it’s such a lovely color, especially in darker shades. 16 // what is your least favorite physical thing about you?
 i would say, probably my nose. it’s too big.

17 // what color pants and shoes are you wearing now? black pants, but i’m barefoot because i don’t usually wear shoes at home. 18 // what was the last thing you ate?

21 // favorite smell? coffee. the smell of it wafting into my room every morning is more than enough to motivate me out of bed and into school. 22 // who was the last person you spoke to on the phone? i think it was my mom? i don’t use my phone much at all. 23 // favorite sport to watch? believe it or not, i don’t actually watch sports, even though i play so many of them. sometimes, i’ll watch cricket with my mom and brother, and i tune in every couple years for the world cup, but that’s about it.

24 // hair color? dark brown. 25 // eye color? dark brown. i’m boring as shit, i know. 26 // do you wear contacts? no, but i will be getting some to replace my glasses! i’m not a huge fan of super unnaturally colored ones, so i’ll probably stick to grey and hazel, colors i think complement my skin tone very well. 27 // favorite food to eat? i’m a fatass, so i eat anything with carbs. but, honestly, pasta’s the fave.

 winter !!! summer is disgusting, even though i’m a summer baby. i just can’t handle the heat at all.

 i actually think that the last tv show that i properly watched and finished was weightlifting fairy kim bok joo. i have a lesbian crush on sungkyung, fucking fight me.
