Summary: When the holidays ended and spring approaches, the incidents that occur would make Big Hero 6 decide to lay low, especially after they were declared as outlaws by the Chief of Police. And as they attempt to piece together the nature of the returning high-tech attacks and more outlaws come into their story, they would come to realise that their world has more grey areas than they thought.

Movies are Better Together

It's Juniper and Megan's first movie date.

Juniper couldn’t help but smile a little of her girlfriend’s reassuring demeanor and simply said, “Okay.”

“Then let’s go,” she chirped with determination as they both turned to get in line to get their tickets. There were only two people in front of them, so they only really had time for Megan to pull out her phone for the ticket booth guy and for Juniper to ask how her day was.

“It was pretty good, I guess. We had a substitute in chemistry class, so the test we were supposed to have will be postponed until Monday; sort of a good/bad situation since a test on Monday is just yuck, but now I’ve got two extra days to study,” the young reporter answered when questioned.

The dancer nodded in agreement and told her, “Yeah, that is kind of a mixed bag. I’m glad I don’t have a test coming up, but I do need to work on a paper for English about comparing themes from different stories.”

“Oof. I love writing for the paper and using my sleuthing skills, but analyzing something can sometimes take the fun out of it,” Megan remarked with a brief grimace.

“Next in line.”

“What?” the couple said in unison as they turned to find the previous customers were gone and now were holding up a pair of men in their mid 20s.

Did some concept art of the summer arc, and thought I could practice how to draw manga. Also I thought Mr. Sparkles being the producer of the Monster Slayer Academia play would add more to why he's given a redemption episode in canon

Also the other ensemble members (apart from Juniper, Jay and Dae) are called Eloise (or Ella for short), Simbi and Miles, and they will debut in the second half of the summer fic!

(I'm stuck on what to name Hobby's assistant again... halp)

Sparks Fly

Megan interviews Juniper as part of a report to hopefully reduce prejudice against reformed criminals.

The teenager sat back in her chair as she gazed around the large area, noting a couple young adults on the computers in the corner, a black-haired girl about her age reading a textbook while doing her homework and an elderly man who appeared to work at the library as he was pushing a cart of books down the aisle. Megan then pulled out her phone and decided to text a quick message to Hiro about seeing if they could hang out at Joe’s Diner tomorrow. As soon as she hit send, she heard a female voice say, “Excuse me, are you Megan Cruz?”

The brown-haired individual looked up from her device almost immediately and was greeted to the sight of a taller, young blonde about a year or so older than her. She was wearing a purple top with a cute bunny on it along with white capris, but she also appeared to be a bit nervous as she stood before Megan. It had been over six months since the reporter had last seen her in person, but instantly recognized her as Juniper of High Voltage.

The supersleuth gave a short “Oh” as she scrambled out of her seat to stand up and properly greet the reformed dancer. “Yes, I am Megan Cruz and you’re Juniper, right?” she inquired as she politely extended her hand.

“That’s my name. Don’t wear it out,” the taller of the two lightheartedly quipped as she shook the offered appendage, her apprehension melting away a little.
