WBP Nasrani di Rutan Kapuas Antusias Ikuti Ibadah dan Sekolah Pendalaman Alkitab di Gereja Rutan

Kapuas, 16 Juli 2024 - Para Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP) beragama Nasrani di Rumah Tahanan Negara (Rutan) Kapuas menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam mengikuti ibadah dan pendalaman Alkitab yang rutin diselenggarakan di gereja Rutan.

Salah satu WBP, Jhonny (nama samaran), menyatakan rasa syukurnya atas kegiatan ini. "Ibadah ini sangat membantu saya untuk lebih mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan dan memberikan semangat baru untuk menjalani hari-hari di sini," ujarnya.

Kepala Rutan Kapuas, Bapak David Anderson S, menyampaikan bahwa program ini merupakan bagian dari upaya rehabilitasi yang komprehensif. "Kami tidak hanya fokus pada aspek hukum dan keamanan, tetapi juga pada pembinaan rohani dan moral WBP. Kami berharap, setelah mereka bebas nanti, mereka dapat kembali ke masyarakat dengan sikap yang lebih baik dan siap berkontribusi positif," jelasnya.

Program ibadah dan pendalaman Alkitab ini mendapat apresiasi dari berbagai pihak, termasuk keluarga WBP yang merasa senang karena anggota keluarga mereka mendapatkan perhatian dan pembinaan yang baik selama di dalam Rutan.

Dengan semangat yang terus menyala, diharapkan para WBP Nasrani di Rutan Kapuas dapat terus berpartisipasi aktif dalam setiap kegiatan ibadah dan pendalaman Alkitab, serta membawa perubahan positif dalam diri mereka.
