Oh boy I can’t sleep so here’s some Cyberpunk Relationship Headcanons!

Kerry x Male!V

-Kerry genuinely sung the ‘I love you, bitch. I’ll never stop loving you, bitch’ song to V on their three month anniversary, complete with the guitar. V had no idea what to say, and didn’t understand the reference.

-Kerry sleeps starfish style and with his mouth open. V has had to close his mouth because he drools in the night.

-Kerry swore he would never have an animal in his mansion before Nibbles came to be. After he met nibbles, Kerry bought him a throne style cat bed.

-Kerry doesn’t understand that not every kiss has to be with tongue. V has genuinely bitten his tongue because he just wanted a quick smooch before a gig.

Panam x Male! V

-Panam is allergic to pollen, but due to being in the badlands, she never knew until V brought her organic flowers. She sneezed for a week straight before realizing.

-V and Panam like racing, but V is terrible at driving. He once accidentally crashed her car into a pile of cacti.

-V and Saul sometimes have family dinner together, and Saul asks really personal questions about the relationship every time. (Example: ‘sooo…have you two screwed yet?’)

-when V can’t sleep, Panam takes him out to look at the stars. The first time she did, he cried, since he’d never seen them before due to the city lights.

….”if we don’t fix this chip thing, V, I’ll be looking up at those. You’ll be the prettiest star out there.”

Judy x Fem! V

-Judy loves telling V about her ocean and fish hyperfixation. Sometimes, she wishes she could afford to go to a real aquarium. V swears if she gets the money, she’ll take her on a date there.

-Judy and V have made braindances before, all to be kept in Judy’s “private folder.”

-V doesn’t understand why Judy is so emotional sometimes, but she’ll awkwardly hug her or kiss her when she starts crying.

-Judy’s favorite movie to watch with V is Ponyo. Judy knows the song by heart and sings it during the credits.

River x Fem! V

-Both River and V really want the other to quit their jobs, so sometimes they jokingly leave resignation papers on each other’s desks. V doesn’t really have a ‘boss,’ so River just leaves a sticky note that says “quit.”

-River really likes iguanas, so when V hatched hers, he cuddled with it more than her for a week straight. V had to deal with it being in between them in bed.

-Joss and V talk a lot, to the point where V will show up at his house just to completely ignore him and talk to his sister. River just ends up standing behind them awkwardly.

-River does the ‘broke boyfriend stance’ every time they’re in a store. Johnny makes fun of him for it.

-River and V are really cuddly, to the point River can’t fall asleep correctly without her beside them.

Bonus!!!! Johnny x GN! V

-Johnny has tried to convince V to kiss the mirror to see if it feels like an actual kiss. (It doesn’t.)

-V has a habit of telling Johnny ‘I love you’ out loud. They said it in front of Hanako right before the relic malfunction, and Hanako looked at them and said

“Uhm…thank…you…?”

-V eventually figures out how to get Johnny a new body and repair the chip. (In my heart I’m delusional.) Once they did, they didn’t let go of each other for weeks. They had the worst honeymoon phase.

-Johnny excessively jokes about soul killer. V does not find it amusing.

Bonus Bonus!!!! Takemura x GN! V

-Takemura cooks most of their meals after V revealed they mainly eat frozen tv dinners instead of real food. He’s Also really insistent that they drink water and shower.

-Takemura once brutally cried after seeing the full effects of the Relic Malfunctions, comparing it to when his Arasaka implants got revoked.

-Takemura didn’t know how to hug someone, so he accidentally nearly choked V.

-he also didn’t know how to kiss, so he just…opened his mouth.

-Takemura doesn’t understand sarcasm, so he takes whatever V says to its fullest meaning.

Judy Alvarez Headcanons

CYBERPUNK || Judy Alvarez x Fem!Reader

On your first meeting, she was a bitch. You'd wandered down into the lower levels of Lizzie's and assumed she was Evelyn, you'd interrupted her editing to which she took the aggressive approach, "Who the fuck are you? You don't walk into somebody's office all dilly dally and shit on their editing."

She's a terrible cook, you know this and she knows this. So you tend to make sure she's eating properly when you have the time, boiling and frying a half-decent meal for her when she finishes a BD.

She's always willing to patch you up, her door is open to you any time you need care, and boy is she willing to give it to you. You'll sit on her kitchen counter while she scurries off to find any supplies required. And when she returns, she'll give you a quick, loving peck but then scold you for being so reckless while sorting your wounds.

She doesn't drink a lot, unlike you she goes for the strong shit that lasts her half an hour, like a malt or a whiskey. On the odd occasion, you ask to try some, she gladly raises the glass to your lips and purposely spills a little down your chin just for her own enjoyment. "Split a little." She giggles, slowly wiping your chin with her thumb, and dragging your lip down before licking her thumb clean.

She loves cats. When she comes to your apartment she immediately zooms past you to greet your momma cat and her kittens. At first, you were slightly offended but it's become the norm.

She struggles to sleep without you, it's like an addiction, after the first time sharing the same bad, holding you, digging her face into your neck, waking up entangled in each other, she needs it every night.

NAP QUEEN. She takes at least 2 a day, why sleep all night when you can do it in shifts? You feel more energised plus you get more work done. But when she does sleep, it's deep. Like you could throw a toaster across the room and she'd barely move a muscle. It's a pain when you need to get up and she's slung across you with more or less all of her body weight, it takes you a solid 15 minutes to get out of bed.

You love asking about her childhood in Laguna Bend, and she loved telling you about it. You never got tired of her stories, even if she sometimes repeats the same tales, you have a keen ear for her past life.

She's weirdly good at chess, she often tries to teach you but you prefer to tease her, running your leg up her leg while she's thinking about her next move, sit and stare at her instead of taking your turn, "You've got to move something at some point!" She complains, crossing her arms. "Hmm... I'd rather not."

You're her top volunteer for her implant, robotic and chrome experiments. Once, you tested a new combat implant for her and let one of her robots shoot at you, long story short, Judy's bathroom wall could do with some new plastering.

Happy Birthday, V!

Was staying up way too late and getting way too emotional over these fictional gonks last night, but yes... I've wanted to do a bigger scene like this for so long, and what better occasion than male V's canon birthday today!

These aren't all my favourites from the game (the sofa wouldn't be big enough for it xD), but the people Vince would like to invite over for the occasion for sure, let it be a year or two down the line when they all actually are in the same area at the right time and come together like this (and uuuhhh... obvious problems with one certain ex-bodyguard set aside and solved because I said so!). It would really be a special thing to have everyone there that's been with him during one of the worst times of his life. Thanks to them (amongst many others) he even gets the chance to celebrate another birthday.

Some more ramblings about some of the interactions I'm picturing here and why I placed everyone the way I did under the cut xD And some more pics to come in a separate post later :3

Front and center obviously Vince and Kerry and Judy, my faves, my loves <3 I think this would probably be one of only a handful of times Kerry ever meets Judy in person. He only ever hears her over the holo and knows her from what V told him, because she left Night City before they got a chance to meet prior to the game's endings. I think they would go along so well though, and besides Kerry, Judy is the person Vince feels closest to out of the group pictured here, and he'd be so excited to know Kerry and her get along as well.

Then Judy and Panam... I lowkey ship it so hard, and I mean, they would make one power couple, but at the very least I think they'd become good friends, maybe Judy even travels with the Aldecaldos for a while or joins them, like in the Star ending when she's romanced.

I put River in the back and center cause he's the biggest of the bunch and I think he'd love being there, watching over everyone in a way (and keeping an eye on Takemura, cause he doesn't trust him xD). I'd like to think him and Viktor get talking about boxing, workouts, maybe make plans for a friendly sparring match. Maybe they've even met before on some occasion, only just realizing it now. Viktor is btw out of the whole bunch the person Vince has know the longest, almost as long as he knew Jackie in my background story for him.

Goro keeps himself in the back because he definitely is the odd one out of the bunch (probably didn't wanna come in the first place), but maybe he's starting to realize this moment that a life without Arasaka is not the end of the world after all. That there's always room for new beginnings, no matter how unlikely it seems (but he's still gonna give V shit, and V is gonna give him shit, obviously XD they're bickering like an old couple probably, much to Judy's and Panam's amusement who previously were rather wary of Goro).

Then a pair I only really got thinking about when I set this up were Misty and Kerry because... It does kinda make sense, and I think they'd get along really well? Like, Vince and Misty have known each other for a few years, and he likes her a lot, but he's not as close to her as he was to Jackie for example. She was definitely a positive guidance throughout the whole mess in 2077, and he really appreciates her for always seeing the good in everything. And I think Kerry would be a bit confused about her in the beginning, but since he also has spiritual leanings I think they'd find a lot of common ground. I also think Misty would just treat him as Vince's partner, some guy, not be all in awe about him being famous - aware of it, but ignoring it, because it does not matter in the grand scheme of things how rich and famous you are but whether or not you're a decent human being.

And Nibbles is there because she lives there, obviously, this is her penthouse, her sofa xD Needs to make sure everyone behaves!

I had been thinking about including Rogue in the scene, but then I also thought... she probably wouldn't come xD Be like "nah kid, thanks, but you do you", and she's not that close with Vince on a personal level. Same goes for Claire, I love her so much, and while I think she and Vince get along very well, they're not as close (or maybe she just didn't have time).

I was pondering also if I wanted to include Jackie and Johnny in some way, because they can't be there physically for known reasons (and even though Vince wouldn't have invited Johnny just to annoy him, Johny would have come anyway to annoy him back, so there's that XD). Decided against it in the end because the ideas I had would have meant more editing than what I was ready to do just now, but I have some more ideas with Vince and Jackie and Johnny that work better in a different setting anyway.

PanJuV Thoughts...

The great Aldecaldo Polycule starts when V flirts with Panam during Riders on the Storm. Panam rebuffs her, but internally it gets her gears turning like "Huh. Didn't know that about V. She is awesome. And smart. And pretty...fuck, do I like her?" It turns over in Panam's head for months well into the end of the game and past that, further complicated by meeting Judy, realizing she's awesome too, and now she doesn't want to come between them. Their easy friendship starts to have a little awkward edge, getting worse over time. Finally V and Judy confront her and ask "What's wrong?" and she says "You! Both of you! You...goddamnit you're confusing me and I'm sorry and *long rambling mess of admitting she likes both of them and doesn't want to hurt either of them.* V admits that she did and still does like Panam. Judy is actually very open to the idea. A lot of time with the Moxes and a lot of not-so-vanilla BD editting has her fairly open to the idea of poly. A long, careful talk ends with a handholding circle and V saying "Let's try and make...whatever this is, work."

Judy uses her girls as furniture when there's none available. Head in V's lap, feet resting on Panam's.

V sleeps in the middle most of the time. Judy and Panam the late-risers tend to trap her by grumbling, giving her kisses and mumbling "Five more minutes..."

Successful jobs are usually followed by boozy bonfires and dancing like no ones watching.

Panam is easy to fluster at first. Judy and V smooching her cheeks at the same time reduces poor baby disaster bi Panam to a blushing, fluttering mess.

Judy and V have carried Panam away from a silly argument a few times.

"Leeet's go, pan."

"Oh you are SO lucky my girlfriends are here!"

"*sigh* she doesn't always make it easy, does she?"

"Oh I'm gonna get you, you bastards!"

"Keep it up mi nomada and I'm gonna have to spank you later."

"Uh, uhm, 😳. Th-this isn't over!"

Oooh okay so my thoughts about Johnny. So, first thing is first, he took awhile to grow on me. I actually really didn't like him at first because I thought he was an abrasive asshole lol. Cuz, ya know, he is. And I didn't go into Cyberpunk knowing ANY of the lore from the TTRPG (I still don't really know any of the lore from the ttrpg).

When I first played V she was incredibly hostile towards Johnny throughout the entire game, the only reason she changed that tune is because I wanted to get the secret ending that wasn't-so-secret-to-me because my husband had played the game. So I chose V's dialogue accordingly. And it was during Johnny's quest line that he really grew on me and I love him even though he's a massive jerk. I think the concept of he and V becoming more and more meshed to the point that they don't know what parts were him and what parts were her is fascinating and I have a soft spot for their unlikely friendship and banter :)

This second playthrough, now that I've solidified my take on V more, has been not quite as aggressively hostile as it had been. She still really does not get along with JOhnny at first, but they grow on each other a lot more a lot quicker. And I think, deep down (and as the game shows), Johnny does come around to care for V and whatever complicated mess of feelings that opens up.

I discussed it somewhere in a post I cannot find, but I haven't really settled on one of the canon endings as 'canon' for my V yet because nothing truly fits exactly how she interacts with Night City. HOWEVER, pulling from some Phantom Liberty stuff here for Johnny and V thoughts and headcanons, I'll toss those and the Judy/V headcanons beneath a cut!

Spoilers for PL starting NOW

I found the post I rambled in so I am just going to copy and paste that for everyone's convenience (not PL, but the secret ending):

I cannot shake the horror of V waking up after Mikoshi and her head is just…dead silent for the first time in a long while. It’s deafening. It’s terrifying. It feels wrong.

There’s no Johnny materializing in the corner of her vision with some quick remark. Some ongoing internal monologue. It’s silent. It’s…empty. It feels like part of her has been ripped out of her, like there’s a hole that needs to be filled.

She’s been working towards this for however long. This has been the GOAL it’s what Johnny urged her to do, there in the end.

So why does she feel so empty? Why does she feel panicky and guilty and everything she shouldn’t be feeling?

If this was what she’s been working towards, why does her voice tremble when she calls out “…Johnny?”

And why do her eyes burn when there’s no response? Something in her has been fundamentally broken since the Relic brought her back.

Now multiply all that previous sentiment combined with the PL ending where V goes through the surgery. She broke some kind of trust with Johnny when she did that if I remember correctly, but she did it to preserve the life she'd been trying to make for herself. Only for that to slip through her fingers like smoke. What she gave up to go through with that surgery, leaving things on "bad terms" with Johnny like that, only to wake up to have two years of her life gone. Judy's gone, moved on, like most everyone else V had close to her at the end...leaving her with nothing. No one. Hollowed out and empty with nothing but Night City around her. And I think in those times she probably wishes that she didn't go through with any of this. That she'd let Johnny have her body because she's alone anyway, she might as well have had him up to the very end ;--;

Judy/V Headcanons

-First and foremost I guess I should say that my V and Judy were never meant to last forever. I love them together in the time they have, I think they're sweet, but they're flame that fizzles out fast. They were a fire lit in the wake of immense tragedy and I think Judy was searching for someone, even subconsciously, to hold onto in the overwhelming ocean of grief and pain she was going through. It also just comes down to the fact that Judy was always going to leave Night City, V never was. V doesn't want to go out in a blaze of glory or become the queen of the Afterlife; that was Jackie's dream not hers, but NC is her home and she can't imagine herself anywhere else.

-Judy tries really hard to get V to leave NC, gets her perhaps halfway warmed up to the thought of leaving. Then the raid on Arasaka happens and V comes back a shell of herself. Judy thinks that maybe V needs time, but it becomes clear in her mind that V is more a ghost that haunts NC than herself anymore.

-Despite V being tied to NC, she would do anything to grant Judy's wish to get out of the city. Even if it mean that V wouldn't be going with her. She isn't lying when she says she's working towards it--I imagine that either in any ending that has Judy and V apart, Judy still gets a fat sum of eddies into her account from V. Her "get out of town fund".

-They have a great dynamic, they get along like a house on fire. To Judy, V is fiery, has a sense of humor like a whip, is a little dumb like an excitable golden retriever, and makes her feel safe and secure for awhile. She’s so intensely V in a Night City that tries to squash anyone who dares to live that vibrantly.

-V starts to change, as the Relic’s malfunctions get worse. She starts adopting mannerisms, ways of speaking, that aren’t entirely her. They’re Johnny. The cadence of her voice is off sometimes, she starts wearing different clothes–that ratty replica Samurai jacket Rogue found for her. She starts smoking more–the old V never would’ve touched a cigarette with a ten foot pole. And I think those subtle shifts raise alarm bells, raise some walls for Judy. Especially after the incident while diving and seeing exactly what V’s time running out looks like. I think as much as that date starts Judy and V's relationship for real, it also starts ticking down to the end. Because as bright and hot as those passion flames burn, Judy knows what's on the other side.

-Outside of the pits of angst lol, I can see V and Judy, ripping through the streets of NC on V's motorcycle. Judy clinging to V, wind billowing her jacket as V drives way faster than she probably should, to the outskirts of the city where they sit on an outcropping to watch the sun set over the skyline. That's the energy they have. The kind of relationship that sweeps you off your feet, the air out of your lungs.

-I don't really think Judy knows what to do with V lol. She doesn't know what to do with the big muscled merc who sings bad syth-pop at the top of her lungs in Judy's van and throws herself down like a big puppy on Judy's couch with a smile that lights up the entire room. And I think V is the one to get some of the most unfiltered Judy that NC ever sees.

-Looking at things from The Sun ending, despite the shadow that remains as V, I think for a moment Judy considers what it would be like to stay in NC with her. That perhaps NC wouldn't be so bad if she had someone she loved, who wasn't eaten alive by the city, to face it with. But then she realizes that she lost some part of V in Arasaka Tower that she won't get back, and realizes her days with V are still numbered. And that's when those walls come slamming back up, when she makes that choice to cut V off before she can hurt Judy, even unintentionally. In her mind she has to protect herself, there was always that last 5% of trust that she never gave to V.

🍙: Goro--

Hiro's relationship with Takemura is...complicated. The two are like oil and water, and although they're capable of working together towards the same goal, both have different motivations and an incredibly different outlook, and methods with which they work. Hiro struggles with Takemura's blind loyalty to Arasaka, and ties to the Corpo lifestyle, and way of thinking, and Takemura sees Hiro as a loose canon, with even looser morals. One of the things Hiro has the hardest times coming to terms with is that Takemura calls his morals and motivations into question--they're the things that he takes pride in, and to have some Corpo accusing him of not having them causes contention, and ensures that while they may be capable of working together, true friendship is harder to come by. Granted, Hiro doesn't make himself easy to get along with, and sees it as his personal mission to get under the man's skin, and see if he can incite a reaction, other than 'coolly disapproving grandfather.' Despite their marked differences, the two occasionally find things they can coexist on, particularly their love of food.

💻: Judy--

Out of all the NPCs Judy is one of the people Hiro is the closest to, and one of the few he knew from before he was in the Claws, and stayed in contact with after he left. He sees her as a younger sister, even though they're only a year apart. They were fast friends, and they're quick to argue but make up almost as quickly, and tease each other a lot. It's usually fairly good natured, and Hiro's very protective of Judy (especially given her less than stellar line of partners), and the two of them spent many lazy nights with pizza, and beer, gossiping and catching up--about clients, or life or tech. She knows that he'll always be there for him, and likewise, and is one of the few people who noticed he went missing in there, and the only one still looking for him. She was furious with him when he turned up later, not even a call, but she could never be mad with him for too long, especially when an explanation was forthcoming, and a promise not to disappear like that again. She routinely throws clients his way, knows that in addition to being a good friend, he's also a very skilled merc. Hiro admires her drive, and warmth, even if he does admit she can be a little reckless at times.

🔮: Misty--

Hiro thinks Misty is a little odd, but he appreciates her, both as an individual and how kind she was to Jackie. Hiro always worried about the latter ending up with someone shitty, but he never did with Misty. He admires her steadiness, she's a source of calm he seldom sees in Night City, and offers an unexpected perspective, that's usually not the first one he comes to. He doesn't share her spirituality, but he's glad it works for her, and he's the last to judge on what makes someone happy. He's come to know her very well through his friendship with Vik, and although they're an odd pair, they're some of the first allies he made after leaving the Claws. They see a lot of each other, between him visiting the clinic, and his past friendship with Jackie, and she's the one who encouraged him to start celebrating his birthday, albeit indirectly. She mentioned that he gave off scorpio vibes, and Jackie ran with it.

Helloo!! On this blog you can remember me as tonia. I don't write super often but I do love writing and reading so I'm making this to utilize whenever I get the urge to write something! I do take requests but please please please read my rules before you do !! Asks however are always open if you'd like to chat or want to submit works/ideas of your own. A: Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Judy's tough to crack, she completely refuses to show any emotion or affection to anybody, that's only reserved for close friends and family.

Once you break down her solid, emotionless exterior, it's clear Judy longs for deep and meaningful connections. She's supportive and pretty protective once you get close to her.

She has so much love to give and a passion for those in her inner circle that it scares her. What if she loses them? What if it's not enough? What if they don't feel the same? And as much as she hates to get all mushy - she needs to hear it from time to time.

So to sum it up, Judy's an 'acts of service' kind of gyal who needs someone who's willing to give her words of affirmation.

B: Best Friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

The bestest of friends to who have if you value honesty, she'll tell you how it is with no limitations.

You'd probably meet at Lizzie's, seeing as she's hunched over that BD set in the basement 20 hours of the day. She'll be a complete bitch at first, then the friendship forms... she's still a bit of a bitch but now she tolerates you..

C: Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Judy is one of those people that are always cold all the time, so she'll latch onto you at night to steal your body heat, like literally latch - like koala to a tree kind of latch.

D: Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

She can cook but doesn't make a habit of it, she can clean but is to lazy to commit herself to it.

At the start of your relationship, she'd frantically kick shoes behind the couch, swipe everything of her kitchen counter into the bin (regardless of what was sitting there), all clothes on her bedroom floor were scooped up and shoved into her wardrobe just before you knock on the door.

Yeah... that didn't last long.

E: Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Judy would emphasise her need for space and growth, highlighting her struggles with vulnerability (as shown in that one ending).

She wouldn't want to deteriorate your relationship because of her issues, so she'd take time to focus on herself before comitting herself to you again.

F: Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Girl wants to get married off ASAP, 3 days after the night at Lagoona Bend you were acting like a married couple. Once Judy is certain in something, she immediately pursues it.

G: Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Judy is so empathetic, she understands how to be emotionally gentle and physically comforting to others, she's got some sort of secret power that tells her when someone needs space or a giant hug.

H: Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are they like.)

Love love loves hugs. Not exactly giving them, but she definitely loves being surprised with one when you get home.

On lazy days, when you're lounging about on the couch watching daytime TV, she'll launch herself on top of you and stay there for a few hours, completely trapping you underneath her.

I: I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

She has to know for certain. In a previous life, Evelyn would guide her through the pros and cons of any big decision the editor was struggling to make, but making this kind of move is a lot harder on her own. It's almost impossible to write out Ev's pros and cons list without the woman (and yes, she does literally write it out on pen and paper).

Pros: You're just great.

Cons: She also thought Maiko was great...

J: Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they get jealous?)

She's not that jealous of a person, after a while of you dating she got the hint you were in for the long haul with her and stopped worrying about something potentially happening.

That doesn't mean it stopped her from doing a full scale background check on any and every name you mention.

K: Kisses (What are their kisses like?)

Short but full of passion, the kind that leaves you longing for more. She loves to tease you with kisses next to your mouth, once she's flustered you, she'll walk away giggling.

Whereas she loves being kissed on the neck, short pecks during a hug send her crazy, she can't decide whether to jump your bones right there or punk you in the gut for teasing her.

L: Little ones (How are they around children?)

As much as she states she hates them, when put into a room with them she always keeps them entertained, and weirdly looks like she's being entertained by them.

M: Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

It's rare you get a morning with Jude, she sleeps at the most random times due to her progress in whatever BD she was editing.

If you manage to wake up next to her, you'll be there for a while, she either doesn't sleep at all or she's knocked out for ages. Normally she'll be sprawled across you, trapping you, until you feel soft kisses being planted on whatever skin is available.

N: Night (How are nights with them?)

You'll spend the nights talking until you pass out, listening to Judy is fascinating, and you can tell she enjoys telling small details about her life.

She loves to have a hand running through your hair as you go to sleep and a hand on her back underneath your shirt.

O: Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they spill everything all at once or slowly reveal things with time?)

She'd let on small, very small details until that evening in Lagoona Bend, from then on she just poured her soul to you.

P: Patience (How easily angered are they?)

VERY. But in a weird way, you could punch her round the face and she wouldn't get angry, but somebody doesn't hold the door open for her - Christ she's going mental.

Q: Quizzes (How much would they remember about you?) Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Everything. No doubt about it.

R: Remember (What is their favourite moment in your relationship?)

Probably just after you, Judy and the gang took over clouds. Everything was going to plan until her bitch ass ex decided to freestyle in front of Hiromi. (In my play-through I kept Maiko alive, so I'll go based off this)

You spared Maiko and claimed Clouds, Judy was ecstatic. You realised you would do almost anything for Judy, and Judy realised she had intense feelings for you - feelings that couldn't be pushed below the surface.

S: Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

She'd go to the ends of the earth for you, she's more likely to verbally protect you and stand with you rather than fight since it's not really her forte, though in any other area she's your No1.

After Evelyn died, she felt really unsafe, as though she was now apart of your shit. Though despite blaming you at first, you stuck around more, and much to her surprise she felt a lot more safe.

T: Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Judy approaches dating with the same intensity and passion she applies to her work.

There's not many great things in Night City, so she works hard to make dates, anniversaries, etc perfect for you, despite how expensive they may be.

U: Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

She overworks herself, not getting enough sleep or taking any time for herself. Sure, she enjoys her work but she feels to obliged to do so much for Lizzie's.

V: Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

She literally could not care less. She's either in a basement or in her apartment for the majority of her time, so it doesn't bother her.

W: Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Before meeting you, though Ev was still alive, she was miserable. To say you spiced things ups a bit is an understatement, but she definitely wouldn't have lasted in NC for much longer had she not met you.

X: Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

A couple:

She has terrible writing, when you look over some of her notes in her office, you'd think it's written by an 8 year old with severe anger issues caused by paper.

There's been so many times where you've had full on conversations with her without knowing she was completely asleep. You'd be confused why she was asking what temperature you cook bacon at like 4 am.

Any chance she gets she slaps your ass, and it will always take you by surprise.

The same with your boobs, of course behind closed doors, she'll just be talking to you then... squeeze. That one doesn't take you by surprise, you're actually quite quick at catching when she's going to do it and swat her away.

No matter what you're eating, she will have some. She'll have a whole meal, untouched, in front of her and she'll grab a bit of yours.

Y: Yuck (What are some things they wouldn't like, either in general or in a partner?)

Lying or snakiness, the one thing she loves about your relationship is your openness and honesty. You won't bottle things up until they explode after a drink or two whilst in a bad mood.

Z: Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)

Like i said earlier, sleep talking. Sometimes she'll fall asleep mid-kiss on your shoulder, you'll wake up wondering why your shoulders wet, look over and think she's chewing at it, no she's just asleep.

House party scenes 4/5: Judy and Viktor and V

Okay, so, when I set up the birthday party pics and started thinking about interesting character constellations, I didn't think of these three at first but... it makes sense tbh!

All three of them grew up in/near Night City. They know its worst sides better than most who came here later in life, but they all deal very differently with living here.

Judy does by trying to change things for the better, but she almost destroys herself in the process. There is no changing Night City, not by herself, not even with help, and not in a timeframe that would make her happy. And so, the best thing for her is to leave, before the city swallows her whole like it did so many others.

The "tradition" she's referencing in this little scene is a headcanon I have for her and Vince. Occasionally throughout the game they would meet up just to chat, because for the longest time, V feels like she's the only person he can openly talk to. Since Judy often sees things differently from him or at least offers different perspectives, their conversations are quite enlightening. On one of those evenings they end up just shouting out their frustrations from the rooftop of Judy's apartment building and give Night City the middle finger (I have an old VP shoot of this that I never posted, I really wanna redo it XD).

On the polar opposite side is Viktor, who is one of those people who managed just stick around forever and somehow made it to an older age in Night City. They're not consumed by it but became a part of it. Viktor's accepted that he'll never make it big, that he'll never change anything about the way things work. Some may call it resignation, but I think he'd say it's adaption. He is content in his situation, has his reliable job and income and circle of acquaintances, that's all he needs. Yeah, sure, he still sees the worst side of the city regardless, he sees people like Jackie and V come and go, die way too young for nothing, and I think he has grown a bit numb to it all. It's just a part of life in this town, one of the worst, but he knows fighting it would be in vain, so he makes the best out of it all.

Vince is somewhere in-between the two. He has this kind of toxic love-hate relationship with Night City. It's his home, there's so many good and happy memories attached to so many of its corners. It's a breathtaking city that keeps catching him off guard with its beauty, and to a thrill-seeker like him it also never ever gets boring, and he loves it for all that. Still though, he hates Night City's dark sides as much as anyone with some basic human decency would, although he is also beginning to grow a bit numb to it all - his time at Arasaka definitely contributing majorly to it. He tried leaving the city once, in his early 20s, because there were just too many shadows chasing him at the time. But he ended up with the worst homesickness and returned after just a few months. He can't live with it, neither without it, always trying to find his place somewhere. He's making the best out of what the city's throwing at him, hoping that, even if he can't change the city as a whole, he can at least impact a few lives in a positive way. In his mind, Night City offers opportunities to someone like him that he couldn't find anywhere else (or so he thinks at least), and it's why he could not picture himself leaving it again at this point in time, at least not permanently.
