This is very, very good, and as someone who hated Judith's (now imperiled) guts in GtN but has grown to appreciate her tragedy, I was delighted when I finally read Cohort Intelligence Files from the Gideon appendix (the one As Yet Unsent is the sequel to).

It's just hilarious that the goddamned Emperor summons the heirs of the Houses and the Second sends this nosy little brat there like “hmmmph we better stop anyone from ascending who isn't a total suck-up”.
