Location: Mars' Apartment in Descray With: @juandiego-flores
The groan that left his lips and throat sounded almost like a whale call with how low and reverberating it was, his forehead pressed against the cool faux granite countertop, rocking back and forth to massage away the strain between his brows as he very impudently grumbled, "Why's it gotta be so hard ta peel a stupid clove of garlic?"
The offending clove of garlic was near his head just a few inches away, most of it peeled except for some remnants of the thin membrane. "No one gonna notice if dey eat a little bit of the peel, will dey?" He asked pathetically, looking up at Juan Diego with imploring and hopeful eyes that he would not need to keep peeling the garlic.

Location: Opulence Historic Library With: @juandiego-flores
Micah had a few spell books in his arms that he was returning to the library, a frequent guest to the publicly available spell books as he was entirely self taught in his magicks and had no family grimoire of his own but he was creating one for himself. Had a notebook made specially for it and would test out his spells and all the tips and tricks he'd learned from reading the spell books of other greater witches. He just set the books down on the front counter where the 'drop-offs' were meant to go when he looked over to the side and noticed someone. It had been quite some time since the gala but he recognized the older man immediately. Micah had tried to find him and learn who he was so he could properly thank him for his help but had been told he'd gone on some trip and would return in the new year. Micah had almost entirely forgotten about his desire to find the man and then now he was here right before his eyes.
Not wasting this opportunity, Micah approached him and spoke to him softly because this was a library after all, and normal volume voices would surely get them chastised by the librarian on duty.
"Hi," the young male witch greeted the older man, "I don't know if you remember me or recognize me. I kind of had a broken nose last time we saw each other," he let out a nervous chuckle.

Natsuki was relieved at how smoothly Juan Diego handled the situation, quietly marveling as he effortlessly seemed to maneuver the social interaction and soon they were on their way out. "Oh," she turned her face toward him as they walked, "Please, don't apologize. I'm just.." her lips pressed together into a tight lipped smile, "I didn't make the cakes so it felt a little like taking credit for someone else's work and I'm not," again she paused, her smile turning sheepish and coy, "I usually avoid big crowds if I can help it." She was only a small and petite woman and quite softly spoken, large crowds of strangers were something she struggled with, much preferring to spend time with one or two people in which she was close with instead. "But it was lovely to give them a treat, please don't think I don't appreciate your idea, it was very nice and I do hope they enjoy the cakes. I'm happy to give them something nice for all they do."
He smiled at Natsuki and shook his head “It’s totally okay, let’s go back, we can say goodbye and also let them go back to their work”, he shook the hand of the firefighter chief, waved goodbye to the rest, and started to walk out “I’m sorry if all the attention made you feel a little uncomfortable, I should have asked before it, but they are not bad people they just tempt to be a little loud. Are you feeling a little better?” The elder of the Flores brother felt guilty for putting the woman in an uncomfortable situation for her without asking her first.

Location: The Fable
Status: Closed for Juan Flores
Tagging: @juandiego-flores
Liv knew this place all too well, there was a couple of times that she had to meet up here for work Christmas parties since it was a hot spot for school kids but Liv had really come to like the look of it, it was local, quick and easy and after a long day at work she could use a quick bite to eat. Sitting under a tree by herself she had a familiar wave wash over her;
It was felt often enough to know that it meant another of her species was near by which would have been more alarming if it wasn't Greywood but it was and it didn't surprise her any more; "I take it you're a witch too" turning to the person next to her speaking at a lower volume register just in case there were humans around and she didn't want to come off as an idiot; "I'm Liv by the way not a total creep I promise"

⌝ Arrangements had been made via the number that Bella had been given after the event, she knew very little of Juan Diego, most of what she was aware of she had learnt through others and so were general concepts of him rather than who he actually was - he owned a local gym, he was a boxer, he was a witch in Helka's own. Bella figured if he had bid on her cookies that at the very least they'd have something to talk about but no one who was particularly happy with their love life would have bid on them. The arrangements seemed fun though, he agreed to bring dinner if she made desert and Bella was all too happy to do so.
⌝ By the time Bella heard a knock on the front door to her new Ashmore estate - construction still being done to various rooms, the exterior covered in plastic and the interior the same in certain areas - she had already set up a small table for them on the balcony overlooking the garden. "Mr Flores," Bellamy smiled softly as she opened the door, freshly dyed dark brown hair falling over her shoulders, stark contrast to the near perfect white of her dress and the illuminated fake gems around her throat.
⌝ "I hope you really do have a sweet tooth, I maybe made far too much trying to find something that would suit your palette," Bellamy commented as she held the door open for him. Though there was the obvious scent of sawdust in the air the home did have roses, irises and violets in vases throughout, Bella's own perfume holding the same notes but complimented with vanilla. "Everything is very light though, I made a rose milk mousse, a lilac cheesecake, and an elderflower ice-cream I thought would pair well with lemon spongecake."

|| Juan Diego & Minho ||
Sipping on a warmed chai tea latte, Minho put his phone down after typing furiously on it for brief few seconds. “I am so sorry dear, post-holidays leftover work, it’s the worst. It just won’t let the busy holiday season end already.” Minho complained to his friend with a dramatic groan, looking wretched for the whole two seconds before he replaced the overworked and spread thin vibe with a bright, beaming smile, like a flip of a switch. “Anyways, what was I saying again…” He took a moment to think, sometimes struggling big time with his attention span of a goldfish.
“Ah, yes! You were actually saying that you’ve been having some domestic troubles on your mind, hm? What sort of troubles, darling? Tell Minho, I will listen to your tales of woe.” He coaxed comfortingly, soft, sweet voice aimed to reassure and placate. Of course he was still ignorant just how big and serious JD’s problems and dilemmas were, yet to hear anything specific about if from the man sitting across from him at the coffee shop they agreed to meet in. Once JD actually said more about it Minho would feel very bad for coming in so distracted with work and his flittering attention. “By the way, have you heard from the lovely lady Adelita lately, I haven’t been receiving any delightful party invites, I am almost concerned. And bored. I need a good garden brunch among the Opulence’s crème de la crème. It has been a while. I feel like I’m becoming less of a snob than I should be.” He joked of course, always ready to make fun of his own lifestyle of rich and famous.

Location: Greywood Supernatural University - kitchen (event) With: @juandiego-flores
Natsuki had volunteered her services as she was a professional chef and had a proficiency in culinary magicks, helpful for the current circumstances in which the town was being assaulted by the sky. Torrential rain had been pouring down for quite some time now and the University stuffed with so many of the townsfolk who all still needed to maintain a certain standard of living. They didn't have access to a full stock of groceries by any means but the University kitchens had been stocked for their own usual sort of meals served to the students and faculty and so Natsuki had started to make a very large and simple but still certified to be delicious batch of pasta with tomato sauce.
"Are you here to help?" Natsuki inquired, peering at the familiar figure of Juan Diego, recognizing him as a notable town figure.

LOCATION: JD’s House WHO: @juandiego-flores
Stranger, it was the perfect word to describe anyone now in his life. Just a few weeks ago, Santiago stumbled into Opulence and changed from a witch to a siren with no recollection of the event that transpired or well anything. Thankfully, he had a wonderful family that came and picked him up but he didn’t know them from adam. The one named Juan Diego offered his house, since Santiago lost his apartment for not paying rent the last few months given his disappearance. It seemed JD was putting in effort in rebuilding their relationship, which helped significantly.
Today was like any other day, he got back from his doctor’s appointment doing a few scans of his brains and trying to do memory exercises, but still nothing. Thankfully, JD was home when he got to the house and it was an opportunity to get to know his brother all over again. Seeing JD in the kitchen, he walked in and offered a soft smile, “hey JD,” he softly said. “So I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hangout if you’re not busy? Maybe do something we used to do before I lost my memory, whatever that might be.”

|| Juan Diego & Corey ||
The waiting room of the animal clinic was unusually empty save for one patient left, too early in the morning to yet have critters and pet owners of all sorts lining up for their appointments or other requests to see a vet. And even that one patient, a lovely, calm, good-natured senior bulldog, didn’t even need to go into the exam room, Corey bringing an otoscope into the waiting room just to give the pup a quick check of his ear canals, following up after therapy for an ear infection. Reassuring the owner and his adorable son, whose dog this was, that everything was progressing nicely and that the ear infection was allmost entirely gone, he got ready to see them off, welcoming another visitor almost right after.
And a smile immediately lit up Corey’s face because it was an old friend who’d just walked in, making this a very pleasant surprise visit. “Juan Diego. This is a pleasant surprise. What brings you in?” He walked over to the man, reaching out to give him a hearty pat on the shoulder in greeting, pearly whites showing beneath his smile. “Come on in, it’s a slow morning, could I interest you in a cup of tea? Or coffee?” He remembered JD loved his coffee. Corey, on the other hand, was more of a tea person.

LOCATION: Flores Estate WHO: @juandiego-flores
“Did not expect for you to show up unannounced,” Alejandro remarked towards his eldest brother as he greeted the older Flores. “Unless, you are here for Adelita,” he responded as he let his brother inside. “Where have you been man? Our mother kept questioning me as if I had some notion of what you were up to.” With his brother close, Alejandro walked into the kitchen to prepare a snack for the two of them so they could talk and catch up. “You thirsty? I am sure Adelita won’t mind if you want to get into her personal tequila collection. Or there of course is some homemade horchata if you just want something refreshing, I think it was made yesterday. And I made some jalapeno lemonade a few days ago, whatever your preference.” He spoke before handing his brother a small bowl of arroz con leche. “So what’s been going, catch me up JD.”
