19th of Last Seed
I stayed the night within the Sleeping Giant Inn in Riverwood, a small sleepy town mostly consisting of a wood mill. That Breton woman, Delphine, she’s odd. She gives me a creeping feeling, like she’s watching me. I don’t like it. But for now I am heading to the Barrow. We’ll see what I encounter.
Well I’ve made it through the Barrow, and it happened again. I seemed to absorb some sort of knowledge from the word wall. I’m concerned about what this may be. And that woman, Delphine, was in Dragonsreach. She was pouring over texts with Farengar, ones concerning the dragons. She may be the one he spoke of, his contact. I should be careful of her.
A dragon attacked the Western Watchtower, and we managed to kill it. I’m still in disbelief, and now I’m being hailed as an ancient Nord hero. Dragonborn. A man with the blood and soul of a dragon. The Greybeards have called for me, the same as the dragon, Mirmulnir. Dovahkiin. I can feel the dragon inside of me, now that I have absorbed him. It’s so strange to feel and hear him. To know his name. And the Jarl seems to be becoming friendly with me, like he has forgotten why I came here. To possibly bring war to his doorstep. I fear he may become angered should I bring up my original purpose, but Ulfric must know as soon as possible.

17th of Last Seed
I joined the Stormcloaks just after escaping from Helgen. Ralof helped me so much in the aftermath, it was all I could do to help him and Jarl Ulfric against the Empire. I hadn’t even done anything to warrant my arrest and near execution. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. They accused me of crossing the border, but why cross the border if I currently live inside Skyrim? What point would there be? Sure, I was a wanderer, but that doesn’t mean I was worthless. Today however I went to Korvunjund to retrieve the Jagged Crown for Jarl Ulfric. He didn’t seem to care for it much, but Galmar insisted on it. The Jarl can be quite humble when he wishes to be. I don’t think it’s so much a desire to be High King as it is a burning obligation to do what no other seems to want to do. I admire that sense of duty, but I wish it to not befall me.

I’m starting a little RP journal for my current Skyrim Dragonborn Vulmir. I wanted to try and do something that allowed me some freedom without making me come up with everything. Figured Skyrim would be a good place to start.

20th of Last Seed
Jarl Balgruuf has given his answer, and now Jarl Ulfric gives his. We will march upon Whiterun, Jarl Ulfric has requested I be there. I will do as he asks. Jarl Balgruuf is not my friend, never has been. I am loyal to Skyrim, and the Empire is collared and chained by the Thalmor. I will not allow my people to die for their worship. As I thought, when time came and we stormed Whiterun, Jarl Balgruuf acted as if I’d personally betrayed him. Said he’d “thought better of me.” But I was already a Stormcloak when I came to him, he is the one that pretended I was any different. He is the one that did not live up to expectations. I thought better of a man that allowed the worship of Talos within his walls, that had not sided, that wished for the protection of his people against the dragons. Instead, he let his people die for a grudge. What a waste. It seems now that old Vignar Greymane will become Jarl of Whiterun. I’m not sure I approve, but it’s better than before I suppose.

18th of Last Seed
I’ve delivered the axe to Jarl Balgruuf, but the man is refusing to act until the dragon threat is solved. What makes him think I can solve it? I am but one man. Sure, I escaped Helgen with the Stormcloaks when the black dragon attacked, but that does not mean I am some sort of expert. Dragons died out a millennia ago; the only experts on dragons may be the Greybeards, but even then it is only where the thu’um is concerned. The Jarl is making me help find some sort of dragonstone for his court wizard, it’s said to be held within Bleakfalls Barrow. Let’s hope it doesn’t kill me.

If I remember then tomorrow I will do a bulk post for Journal of Vulmir. Since it's been so long since I've made many posts. Its helped get some of the creative processes going. If you want more let me know. If it's not well liked I'll scrap it and try something else.
