[ad_1] Vandana Kataria and Joshna Chinappa at the RevSportz Trailblazers Conclave Vandana Katariya has just announced her retirement from international hockey. One of the best ever to play for India, her 300 plus caps for the national team stand testimony to her talent and resilience. In fact, her getting injured will always remain the key reason for me as to why India failed to make it to Paris 2024. She missed the Olympic qualifiers in Jharkhand and it was one of the key reasons India fell short of making it to the Olympics. While she will continue to be a part of the Hockey India league, we will always remember her fondly for her exploits at the Tokyo Olympic Games. And that too after she and her family was allegedly subjected to casteist slurs post India’s defeat to Argentina in the semi-finals. She became the first Indian woman to score a hat-trick at the Olympics in India’s thrilling 4-3 win over South Africa in the group stage. India then pulled off what has been described as one of the biggest upsets of the Tokyo Olympics by beating Australia in the quarter-finals. Vandana, for many, is a beacon of hope. Like she had said at the Trailblazers conclave in 2023, “What we can do is play hockey. Give our best for the country. If people don’t want to see that and talk about other things, it is sad. We play for India. Not for anyone else. And that’s my only identity. I am a hockey player and I play for India.” Rani Rampal, her captain in Tokyo, had said at the time that she was overwhelmed by the support that Vandana and the team received throughout the Olympics. “It is very heartbreaking for the player, and the sort of thing that they struggle to recover from. Even if the player does recover, it is very difficult for the family to get back from something like that. My request is that, regardless of whether players are winning or losing, we need you at all times. We need your support even when we are not winning medals and titles. That is how India can become a sporting nation,” she had said. In her retirement note, Vandana has thanked for father for getting here where she is today. May we say that even in retirement she will forever remain a true devotee of the sport she has enriched. Go well and like you have said Vandana look forward to watching you when you step out to the pitch during the Hockey India League. WEEK 33
FInal Script
The rough draft of the script acted as a baseline towards what the final script would come to be. It was quite challenging to stay under our budget constraints while also not compromising on the storyline.
It was also essential that all of the group members had aligned visions towards what the final script would look like. After taking inputs from all the members Joshna was able to shape the script according to our goals and meticulously aligned each element of the script to the sections of the song.
Although, We still decided to keep the script flexible as many of the factors would rely on whether or not we were able to find the right locations or if we would even get permission to film there. Hence, the script, although final, was still used as a blueprint for the final video.

Hey! I'm Joshna Sharma, and I'm an A Level Media Studies student at CP Goenka International School.
In my AS Level journey, I focused on the creative and technical aspects of print media, as well as understanding camera techniques, editing styles, and sound design. For Component 1, I created a magazine as part of my Foundation Portfolio. I learned about layout design, typography, visual storytelling, photography, direction and how to engage an audience through compelling content. You can check out my AS Level blog here: @joshna-sharma-media-studies
For A Level Component 2, I had the choice between creating a Music Video or a Short Film, and I’ve decided to go with a Music Video.
This project is a chance for me to build on my creative skills and apply my understanding of visual narratives in a new and dynamic format.

Actors ppt
this week we properly decided about the what both our actors were going to wear and how to make them look on screen and also who would take upon these roles our main characters role was taken upon one of our team mates and the fellow director who is going to direct the movie so for his role the perfect clothing to make him look like a depressed high school student was a messy fit which was a white shirt messed up with formal pants and he also needed to put make up so he looked bruised.
well as for the actress who was playing the other role of the female this was played by one of our friends Joshna well for her look we went for a classic high school girl look with the black jacket, white shirt the skirt and the main part of the outfit the headphones we went full out on the high school aesthetic for this.

Okka Kshanam movie review...
It's a 2017 tollywood movie
I watched this movie on Youtube long back and am watching this today again to review about it.
In the story the female lead Joshna has a habit of looking into the houses of her neighbours to observe people and in between that she meets the male lead Jeeva in a shopping mall's parking, liking him, gives her number to him and both of them fall in love with eachother and introduce eachother to their families as well.
Once as Jeeva comes to her house she tells him about a couple infront of her flat where the husband tourchers the wife physically and mentally. As they understand that couple they find out that Swati, the wife in that couple and Joshna's lives are parallel life. The incidents from her life start happening in Joshna's life from her birth.
One day she dies and the murder blame come on her husband Srinivas so Jeeva tries to slove this murder mystery so that he can save Joshna from dieing. At the end she survives and both of them marry. Srinivas comes out of the jail as Joshna releases the proof of his wife Swati's death and continues his friendship with Jeeva.
The comedy scenes, songs and story line all are good and enjoyable.
This movie became a flop maybe because they didn't market it much and the leads are not that popular.
#make more such movies
#parallel life and destiny concept
#very nice attempt

[ad_1] RevSportz Trailblazer (PC: RevSportz) The Trailblazer 2 Conclave was an eye-opener. Rarely does the celebration of sport happen in a cricket-obsessed country. RevSportz’s effort puts every sport — from cricket to football, Olympic disciplines and Paralympic sports — on an equal footing. I joined RevSportz in January last year. For more than a quarter-century, I have been a cricket correspondent, covering close to 100 Tests and ODIs, and several World Cups and other ICC events. Some football assignments and occasional Davis Cup ties were thrown into the mix, but my sporting focus was a bit one-dimensional. The Conclave changed that. First, the planning part, which was extensive. But a good plan needed to be executed properly. Team RevSportz did that through its hard work. A constellation of stars, the country’s best sporting minds, assembled in Kolkata for two days of meaningful dialogue. From legends like Abhinav Bindra, Sourav Ganguly, Leander Paes and PR Sreejesh to future stars like Shriyanka Sadangi, Sift Kaur Samra and Esha Singh turned up. The great Viswanathan Anand and Neeraj Chopra were far afield in different time zones, but they made their presence felt online. For the Latest Sports News: Click Here Panel with MC Mary Kom, Joshna Chinappa, Rani, Harmilan Bains and more (Image: Joy Sengupta for RevSportz) Ganguly spoke about the importance of having a winning mentality. The man who lifted Indian cricket at the turn of the century after it was caught in the quagmire of the ‘Cronjegate’ was the best person to speak about leadership. Bindra, the Olympic gold medallist, spoke about how to handle pressure. Anand opened his heart and hearth on the chess boom in India. Little did he know that in a few months the country would get a world champion in chess. Without Anand, D Gukesh wouldn’t have happened. MC Mary Kom and Sania Mirza spoke about how motherhood allowed them to surmount the challenges in their respective sports. Para badminton champion Manasi Joshi was a vocal advocate for women’s rights. RevSportz celebrated para-sport when it wasn’t the flavour of the country. As it turned out, circa 2024 was Indian para-sport’s annus mirabilis, with 29 medals at the Paris Paralympics. The backstage was full of nuggets, and the Conclave offered a personal gain. It helped this correspondent become well-rounded in terms of having the right outlook towards multi-sport coverage. WEEK 32
Writing a script
As the title of the song goes, "Sucks to be Human", would it not be a great idea to capitalize on this. An alien is the first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions not being human. The idea was pretty simple, taking inspiration from 60s idealism, Joshna was able to jot down a rough draft of the script which all of us viewed thoroughly and decided to move forward with.
