Since when She was able to punch her bullies, She was the only few who protected Bruno & made sure to keep him safe, He was her best friend.

When She heard about Bruno & José dating, being a couple, Sonia was angry. Not about them as a couple (she doesn't judge about how love should be) but at Bruno, for not telling her sooner. Best friends should tell each other almost everything. Sonia also knew about Chepe's & José 's fallout. (Her nickname is Chimsonia for a reason, She lives for the gossip). Bruno was her top priority, sure he is his own person but Sonia can abit over protective. As for José, She liked him, as a crush & an acquaintance, but When it came to Bruno, she hopes He made sure Bruno was treated with kindness.

One day, Sonia was walking to Casita to see if Bruno was free to get pastries from the bakery with her. Then She spotted José at the front door, thinking He must be waiting for Bruno. She took a deep breathe & Sonia stood beside him with a glare & her arms crossed. She was gonna give him the talk, the 'don't hurt him in any way or you'll get it' Talk. Sonia looks up at him, with her eyes dead set on him, "I'm going to tell you this once,José Guzman. I like you, but I love Bruno more, so if I hear or see you hurt Brunito in any form, I will not rest on finding you & take a mean swing at you. Got it?." He surprisingly stares down at Her after giving out her threat. She was younger & very short but Her body language was dead serious. There was reason why She gotten into fights with Bruno's & her bullies.

Oof, Can you imagine how furious she was when Bruno, in a devastating matter, had told her that José left? She waited for the day He would come back to give one heck of a hit at him. Sonia hoped Her & Bruno's kids didn't watch her chase a mountain of a man with her boot...that would be quite a show. At least she mellowed out abit.

Commodore José I. Mendez glared at Lt. Jr. Rosario. "What were you thinking, having Ensign Rozenko do inventory? He's not fully trained in dealing with dangerous items. I gave the assignment to you."

Lt. Jr. Rosario said, "But sir, he said that it was okay. Besides, what's the big deal?"

"You can't pass your own duties on to someone else, even if he says it's okay. You never know what could happen," José sighed as he looked at the bottle of whiskey in the display case. It was a twenty-year-old bottle of whiskey kept in a sealed display case. "I'm not lecturing you because it's wrong; I'm telling you this because you'll regret it. Do you know Captain Christopher Pike?"`

"Of course, sir. He sacrificed his life to save the cadets from the training vessel USS Republic. I heard he was sent to some distant planet to heal, or he was put in stasis. No one knows."

Commodore Mendez sighed. Starfleet Command had decided to protect Captain Pike and Talos IV; it was all kept secret. Some interesting rumors popped up, including one that Captain Pike was sent to the future for better treatment. "I can't say what happened to him, but the fact is he was badly hurt, and it was my fault. It should have been me on that ship."

Commodore José Mendez groaned as he looked at the latest assignment: another ship inspection of a J-Class Training vessel. They were all the same. He would go there, walk around, say 'good job,' point out flaws that wouldn't be fixed because they were just training vessels, and keep going. He was tired, and he had some vacation time coming up. He wanted to spend time with his family. He pondered the thought that he could just ask someone else to help.

He called up Fleet Captain Christopher Pike. He and Chris were friends, and Chris had offered to help when possible. Chris appeared on screen. "José! How's the wife and kids?" he greeted.

"Same as usual. The wife is pregnant with our fourth kid," José bragged, holding up four fingers.

"Wow."

"I know. I need to ask you a favor. Can you take my place for an inspection? It's for the USS Republic. It's just a J-Class—easy. Just go in, say 'good job,' and leave. If you do, there's a bottle of whiskey for you."

Chris stiffened as he took a deep breath. José had never seen Chris look so nervous. He looked more like José had just asked him to go to Quo'noS alone. "Yeah, sounds easy. Don't worry about the whiskey."

"I insist. It's the least I can do."

"Then just keep it for me," Chris smiled, but the smile didn't reach his eyes. José felt a little uncomfortable but shoved the feelings aside. Chris probably just didn't like the idea of doing an inspection either. "By the way, if anything happens, don't feel guilty."

"Oh... okay. Thanks," José ended the call. Why did he suddenly feel guilty?

Commodore Mendez sighed as he put his hand on the display case. "And then I heard about the accident. It's funny; he acted like he knew what was going to happen. That's the funny thing about being in Starfleet—it just... causes things. He never blamed me. I asked him many times if he blamed me, and he always said no. Starfleet lost a good captain, and I damned a man to hell." Mendez remembered the recordings from Talos IV. Chris was trapped on a planet full of telepaths. He chose to go there, but he shouldn't be there. He was promised an illusion of health but at the cost of reality. "So, I never reject a request again. You see, the duties you've been given are yours to fulfill. You can ask for help, but you must take responsibility. That's what it means to be a leader."

"Yes, sir. I will do my duty, sir," Lt. Jr. Rosario said as he saluted and walked off.

Commodore Mendez stared at the whiskey. He wished he could change the past. The smallest decision had changed the lives of two men. Pike had been more than a fellow officer; he had been a friend. And Mendez had failed him.

He looked up to see he was still in the office. He had spent too much time regretting the past. All he had was the present and the future. He would guide the men and women under his command to be the best leaders they could be. Chris had forgiven him; he wished he could forgive himself.

"Duty calls, right Chris?" he whispered to the whiskey bottle. He walked out of the office, resolute in his desire to be the man Chris would have wanted him to be.

Un sistema ejemplar a nivel mundial, motivo de inspiración para paises que lo emularon y hoy día son ellos el ejemplo a emular. Pero por ignorancia y fanatismo político, al pueblo se lo arrebataron. Donde los puertorriqueños eran atendidos sin necesidad de un plan médico ni dinero, pasaron a tener que abandonar su país en busca de servicios medicos, porque si no tienes un plan o dinero, te mueres. Su Pilar, fue utilizar la ilusión del pobre, y les prometió atención médica al nivel de lo ricos. En un pueblo ignorante, donde se desconecta de los elementos fundamentales del "Desarrollo Humano", era la carta magna para el engaño.

También, Puerto Rico tenía un Sistema de Educación envidiable. Habían miles de escuelas, cientos de miles de niños educándose. Puerto Rico era el Pilar de la Ingeniería y lo mal utilizaron, exportando el capital humano educado. Este señor Pedro primero, a la mano de José Arcenio Torres se inventó "Las escuelas de la Comunidad". En el camino pierde a su primer Secretario de Educación y comenzó a desmantelar el Sistema de Educación con el segundo, de nombre Victor Fajardo, quien terminó tras la rejas por corrupción, al utilizar el dinero de los niños para pagar las arcas del Partido Nuevo Progresista. Al caer en manos del FBI, cesó en su intento y luego se fue dejándote como el mismo dijo "ahí te dejo, ese desastre". Más de 40 funcionarios fueron convictos por corrupción y nunca se radicó un cargo estatal por su Secretario de Justicia, Pedro R. Pierluisi.

Hoy, 23 años de la salida del primer Pedro, su aprendiz , pasó a ser el gobernador y aplicó la receta para acabar con nuestra educación. Utilizó el mismo Pilar. Ahora en lugar de un plan médico al pobre, le prometió un vale para que se eduque. Crean la crisis, y luego prometen la salvación.

Ambas acciones, a nivel mundial, han fracaso en alcanzar los niveles óptimos del Desarrollo Humano. Se alejan de la fórmula que tiene éxito en lugares como los Países Nórdicos, que ellos mismos nos imitaron. Lo hacen, porque arrebataron el presupuesto de Salud para sus inversionistas y aseguradoras. Ahora, hace lo propio con sus inversionistas, utilizando nuestra educación. Esto es algo muy serio, que sólo le pasa a los pueblos que tienen miedo. Pueblos cobardes con generaciones que recibieron todo y no apreciaron nada. Con una soberbia tan grande, que a su alrededor todo colapsó, sus familias viven en otro país, se mueren esperando atención médica, las escuelas son ruinas, quebraron el gobierno, le vendieron las playas, se les va la luz a diario y se conforman por miedo. Si lo hace su partido son ciegos y si lo hace el otro se callan.

Ahora, le toca enfrentar esta situación. La nueva generación no tiene nada, y les espera un vale para hacer más ricos a la familia Mendez, Camera Mundi, Angel Luis Ocasio y hasta el mismo Oscar Santamaría y Gallery. Es la mediocridad propulsada por pendejos con problema de identidad. Que desde el privilegio cargado por el éxito de la generación de sus padres, se les olvidó luchar por el futuro de sus nietos, porque no había necesidad. Otros, acostumbrados al mantengo de estos políticos, le juegan la carta porque no saben una vez más, el significado de "Desarrollo Humano". Jugaron a la ideología política y fracasaron por la ignorancia.

¿Respeto? No siento el más mínimo por estos dos pendejos.

Hoy lloro a mi escuela. Lloro al ver a mis hijos privados de los que un día tuvimos. Lloro por mis maestros, que lo dejaron todo, y se vieron obligados a pasar su vejez sin retiro y sin dinero, porque hasta los materiales le quitaron. Nos enseñaron a leer y a escribir, mientras estos canallas enseñan al pueblo a robar. Lloro al ver como no hay un sistema de transporte para nuestros estudiantes. Lloro al ver el comportamiento de gran parte de nuestro pueblo.

Pero no me voy a conformar, estas escorias van a tener pelea, y esto colmó la copa. El teatro de que pendejos disfrazados de politicos vayan a Washington a vendernos un futuro de progreso, se lo vamos a quitar jíbaros con necesidad de patria, de la que nunca hemos perdido, solo que se les negó el derecho a creer en un sentido de pertenencia. Mis maestros me enseñaron a hablar bonito, aritmética, historia y ciencia, pero el instinto me enseñó el sentido de supervivencia, y que para defendernos, hay que acabar con estos corruptos y hay que hablarles como se merecen, igual. Llegó el momento de ser Xenofobico contra el Pene pe, porque estos cabrones de aquí no son, son muy cobardes para que se les considere llamar puertorriqueños.
