Louis' soft and thin. Hongki's husky and rockish. Both of them smoke and have a penchant for drinking. Their younger self love to joke around, loud and boisterous. Never one to filter their mouth. Omg they're so similar than I originally thought. And ohh they're both not so tall 🤭.

Michael = Jonghun (Lead Guitarist)

If only Jonghun didn't f@#k up. Everything's not the same after that. But yeah.. both of them are gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous people. In kpop world, they both would be known as the 'visual' of the group.

Isaac = Senghyun (2nd Guitarist)

Seunghyun my fav my bias my bob. I was so surprised to find out he decided to leave. Yeah I still blame Jonghun. Seunghyun plays guitar and back up vocal too.

Steve = Minhwan (Drummer)

Unlike Steve, Minhwan is a cootie patootie and not at all buff and tough. But he plays drum so he at least has the biceps.

Matt = Jaejin (Bassist)

It's how I know and learn that bass has different sound. Jaejin's cute! And sometimes he acts as second lead vocal. Much softer than Hongki's but he's got nice tone.

Zak = Keyboardist

aaaawww not only Zak is a loner on stage, he also doesn't have a pal in FT Island. But sometimes Jonghun plays keyboard 😁

adrian kicked the door open with his foot, balancing a tray of iced coffees in one hand and a stack of takeout bags in the other. although the studio was still a mess of half-unpacked boxes and scattered equipment, he had to include jonghun in it! it was smaller than he’d initially imagined. the walls were bare, save for the neon glow. he still had a lot of cleaning and arranging to do but that was going to take days and he wasn’t exactly planning to rush it. “if you’re asleep, i’m eating your share,” adrian announced, grinning as he stepped further into the small space. he dropped the bags onto the makeshift desk made from an old table he’d grabbed from his own living room and spun around to face the half-empty space. “i guess it’s not so bad. cozy, right? if you ignore the boxes that keep falling over.” / @eachnight

     “ you sure you don't wanna share a room? ” abel wasn't a believer; he had always been the skeptic, scoffing at ghost stories and dismissing tales of haunted places. however, this hotel had a way of giving him the 'ick', as he put it. “ not that i'm scared or anything, but… maybe we should stick together tonight. you know, to save costs. ”

When I said Louis's Back To You reminds me of FT Island's song, I think this is the one. The finishing part of "I Hope" live version.

Omg how time flies.. I was actually hooked on tumblr because of ftisland around 2010 I guess, during "Love Love Love" madness (that's how I come up with my tumblr url). I never really like kpop girl/boy groups so a K-band was like a fresh breath of air. Though they like to think and aspire to be a rock band, some of their songs are quite 'cute' like the one I shared above. But they always managed to turn it into a more "rock" version at their concerts.

I prefer their earlier stuffs, heart wrenching love song (not cute at all) add to that Hongki's powerful voice (his voice!) like "Love Sick" and "Thunder" and even a song dedicated to their fans "Primadonna". Their Japanese songs are more rockish I think, "Raining" is my favourite.

Their later stuffs... while still good, idk.. some I like and some I don't like (the one about dog is fun but not to my liking) and I don't remember when I stop being a fan. Maybe after Jonghun debacle or wayy before that, idk.

hurm.. now I really miss them, typing this as I listen to "Raining". And I may want to watch their concerts 😭 when I should be sleeping 3 hours ago if I don't want to be late for work tomorrow. New day! New Year!

     “ that's a bit dramatic, don't you think? ” adrian let out an awkward chuckle, curiosity seeping through knowing the other wouldn't have brought it up out of nowhere, unless he knew something that he wasn't telling him. “ you won't lose me, i promise you, things are under control. yes, the equipment costs can be a bit steep and maybe i did go overboard for the new project, but i've been... managing it. ” he attempted to offer jonghun a reassuring smile.

'i overlooked it because you are like a brother to me, i guess i had a hard time accepting the extend all of this really takes and i really do not know so much about the equipment you use and what they cost.' that wasn't even a lie, jonghun only really started to wonder when he saw the familiar name on paper. of course, he imagined it was pricy but not so much. 'i have lost one brother, i can't bear to lose a second,' he finally admitted after a moment of silence.

They were getting along well, though, he had to admit, there seemed to be just the tiniest bit of a barrier between them that they yet had to overcome. He liked the male, he was beautiful, kind, but his own life was just so messy and how could he explain all this to him.. "You mean, if you never bought a car from me and instead we met in a bar?" He smirked, because he felt like this wasn't what Jonghun meant. "You mean, like, falling asleep with one another, being the first face one sees in the morning? Those things?"
