Alex actually really likes Jonah, but she doesn’t let it come across that way at first because she feels like he doesn’t like her

Alex isn’t sure how she feels about Jonah’s dad.

She doesn’t like going to the island anymore. (obviously)

She never was afraid of the dark, but after the island she started. Sometimes, she has a bad dream and will go sit in the living room for a little bit. Since Jonah’s room is near hers, he can hear her most of the time. So he’ll go and sit with her until she calms down

She and Jonah will have sleepovers in one another’s rooms. They make a blanket fort and everything.

She loves writing

Also drawing

She's actually pretty good

Ren is her number one go-to for reference

Her favorite movie is crazy, stupid love

She wants to adopt a dog and a cat, but her stepdad is allergic

She still loves the woods, despite everything

She plays the guitar

She misses Michael, but she’s a lot better about it

Depending on the ending you prefer, she and Clarissa actually become pretty close, and go to the movie a lot.

I headcanon her as very, very gay.

She used to like Clarissa, before she got with Michael

When they got together, she began to like her less because she’s kind of an asshole

But now that they’re close again she understands why she’s the way she is.

She doesn’t like her anymore though.

She sees her in more of an older sister type way.

Her favorite food is pancakes with scrambled eggs

She loves Chili’s

Also noodles and co.

Every weekend, she, Ren, Nona, and Jonah (sometimes Clarissa) drive up to the mountains and watch the stars in the back of Jonah’s truck

Oxenfree is Lacklustre

None of the characters grow beyond their archetypes, which wouldn’t be a dealbreaker if Oxenfree had fun gameplay to keep me immersed, however, I can assure you this is not the case. movement in Oxenfree is slow and sometimes unresponsive, leaving the simple task of moving around the map difficult and annoying. the article talks about how your small choices influence the result of the story, however what it doesn’t tell you is that for every small choice that DOES influence the story, there are dozens that don’t change a thing. Not that it really matters, when none of the characters are actually interesting. None of them grow beyond their archetypes, and their relationships are portrayed so poorly, it hardly matters. Alex, the protagonist, and the stock-template best friend character, Ren, speak to each other like mild acquaintances, whereas Alex’s step brother, Jonas, who Alex had only met recently, seemed far more comfortable together. This makes scenes later in the game where the player is forced to choose between either siding with Jonah or Ren seem forced and unnecessary. All in all, a game that carries it intrigue on it’s characters and relationships is a poor game when the characters and relationships are written poorly

Today’s the day! Happy 1st birthday to my first ever published webcomic, Dreams Can Bleed!!

This story has carried me through a lot, and I never would have imagined it gaining the following that it has. So thank you all for making this possible, and bringing this thing to life in a way I never expected!

Though this is a HUGE landmark, this tale has so much more to tell. And I’m so excited to have the opportunity to share it with you <3 seriously, you all mean so much to me and I’m so grateful y’all gave me, and continue to give me a chance on these platforms. It’s more than I could’ve ever imagined or hoped for. Once again (and certainly not the last time I’ll say this), Thank You!!
