Don’t get me wrong, everyone is somebody’s fave and I’m glad for the people rooting for the underdogs/less popular characters that their fave made it but I find it kinda hard to believe that EVERYONE in Class A “made it” as a Pro.

Like, yes I know UA is the best hero school in Japan (certainly the most famous and revered) but that doesn’t mean the hero-success rate is a hundred percent

Nobody tried hero work for a while and then realized their passion/calling was elsewhere? No one got injured and had to take a step back? No one started a family? No one graduated but couldn’t keep up with the big leagues and eventually just settled for lower-level sidekick work or just quit heroing altogether?

With a dissolvement of the hero charts I might find it more believable but with the system left so intact as it is, the Pro Hero pool is more competitive than ever…

I get Horikoshi probably wanted to tie everything up with a nice little bow (was never gonna happen if the villains couldn’t be saved) but 20 (21 if you count Shinso) out of 20 becoming successful pros?? 🤨

so this guy really wants to teach me how to play mtg i assumed it was like an excuse to get invited over for sex but apparently he’s genuine and i’m letting it happen bc he’s hot like stunning (not something i’d say about mtg players and i have some experience in this field but here we are). anyway we decided to do it today bc i have some time between lessons so the question was where in ljubljana we could play. and there’s this gamer store with desks where people can play near me called the black hole. anyway i won’t bother translating it in a way that makes sense in english but basically what he said was “i can do you in the black hole or in my car from the back” and i’m actually scared to make fun of that bc if it’s a pun it’s funny and i miss banter like that but also there’s a lot of very stupid guys out there and he might not even realise what he said lmao

Today was really good even though fatigue was a bitch. I was able to go pick up my plushies, hit the used bookstore and found the second book in the Ambergris trilogy, and got some tacos for dinner.

I am trying not to freak out about my dentist tomorrow or psych eval on Friday, and the little joys are really helping with that.
