How long will they last? - 5ever, alternatively like... half a year in John’s dreams in the AUs where Jace exists. 

How quickly did/will they fall in love? - In fic canon it’s over the course of months for John, years for Nic.  In any of the AUs it was probably admittedly just a few weeks if that but they like saying months so they don’t sound too desperate. 

How was their first kiss? - Fic canon: Rushed, emotionally/situationally charged mess. AUs again- cutesy, soft, lingering- a Movie First Kiss.

Who is the best man/men? - In fic canon, uuhh haven’t thought about this. Sharky, Nick, or like... seven year old Cal I guess.

How fancy was the ceremony? - In canon They technically have two, considering ones just a common law/”we should get married” agreement that leads to Whitehorse basically signing off on them being a thing, then once they get topside John makes a big-to do, as he would in AUs, so:  Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big.

Who’s the first to wake up in the morning: If they don't have anything major to do, John. Nic values her sleep and unless there's something decidedly above a PG-13 rating in the cards, God help anybody who interrupts that. Including John.

Who’s the one to make breakfast: Either

Who’s the one to serve the other breakfast in bed: John

Who would suggest a quickie in the morning before work: Both of them

Who suggests they both ditch work to lay around all day: Nic more often that John, but both.

Who chooses the movies: Nic. She'd determined to broaden his entertainment horizons.

Who initiates kissing during the moving, thus distracting the other from the movie all together: Also both.

Who steals food from the other’s plate without asking: Nic.

Who curls up next to the other and falls asleep due to a full tummy: Nic again

3) Who is more into taking showers/baths together? Who tries to make it relaxing and who tries to make it sexy time? Unless they've had an extremely long/tiring/emotional day, most of the time they're both very game for sexy showers.

8) Who likes to wear the others sweatshirts? Nic lives in John's clothes. He doesn't even know what he owns anymore because she's taken a bunch of things and put them away on her side of the closet.

11) Who makes fun of the other for having a crush on them, and who has to remind them that they are in a relationship? Nic: "Awwww, babe, you had a crush on meeeeeeeeeeeee" "We're married. We have three children." "Sttttiiiiiiiiilllllllllllllllllllllllllll."

27) Who orders take out at two in a morning? and who wakes the other up at three in the morning to go downstairs with them to get a glass of water because it’s too dark? Nic for both, unless there's also some Sexy Ulterior Motive on the latter, then John will absolutely pull a "come with me" routine.

3. When they are having a fight, what is it about and how do they deal with it? More often than not, John will still let his bastard side show to someone, and Nic will absolutely call him on it, which might spark something. 

4. Their favorite physical feature on each other? Nic thinks John’s non-existent ass is adorable Eyes for both of them

14. Is their anything they associate with each other? Mostly locations. Post-Collapse the remains of the Yes sign, the Bunker but namely the red room, Landsdowne Airstrip...

22.  22. From the outside looking in, what is their dynamic like? Again, I feel like this is setting up a shot at a hornets nest when it comes to fandom feelings but it ain't gonna be like more than four people read this. It’s... multifaceted. Fairly problematic considering their past on opposite ends and the fact that they’ve tried to harm each other, but they worked through it so it’s extremely strong and they mesh well into one unit together. 

29. What are your favorite moments that happen between them? Landsdowne and the lead up to The Reason Why It’s So Important To Them, Also just before that where they technically live a direct role reversal of the Confession and do a lot of silent communication ‘til John’s  “Oh, I wasn’t talking to you, I was talking to her”-like zing. I like that one moment in... idk that one ficlet where John sees Joseph for the first time since the Collapse so he lashes out and basically baits her into a fight to leave him and all she does is give him a Look and it immediately snaps him out of it and he has to hold her and asks her to stay, in We’ll Meet Again/AU, the end where they’re sitting on the bathroom floor together

Why dont we have both

1. What drew your character to their LI and vice versa? 

Pack Parents: It was mutually picking up on vibes without really knowing it. For both, the other just felt right in the sense that they felt good and honest and trustworthy.

Johnnic: In stark contrast, it was completely base level, girl/boy pretty. And sort of badass NoT tHaT i wOuLd AdMiT iT aBoUt An EnEmY.”

2. What was the first moment that they knew they were in love with their LI?

Pack Parents: Neither can really place a moment, it just kinda gradually built up and they were just sort of aware the L word was involved after a while. 

Johnnic: A bit complicated, because for Nic, it was straightforward- in the Bunker, she saw him and Whitehorse talking about something the Survivors needed and how they should approach getting it done/John was finally helping other people not including her or Cal without any ulterior motive/apprehension. For John, he thought he was in love the first time he thought he lost her after everything they had been through when they got to the bunker with seconds to spare and she was in bad shape. However, that was more his heart and brain not being used to actively caring about someone that he wasn’t obligated to/trying to get something from.  I made this joke before but it’s very much that bit in Galavant where Isabella has a crisis because she’s having a positive feeling about someone.  Where he has the thought that he loves her and it’s genuine love - he walked into their room to see her napping with Cal and it got him right in his heart. 

21.  Personally, do you think they are a good couple?

Pack Parents: Best couple, but a couple of arguments a year would probably make them a more adjusted couple instead of too perfect uwu

Johnnic: Catch me straining to answer this question intelligently considering the topic of this week’s resurfaced drama lmao Again, complicated. For tropes’ sake, they’re perfect, they hit all the best ones, but in their ‘canon’ did originate with hella toxic elements, but they worked through it and didn’t start anything until way after there was an even playing field with no strained power dynamics which makes it a little better. In the Gatthew/It Was All a Dream/Most Other AUs they’re also perfect but their chaos would be INSANE. 

24. Is there any moment that happens between them that you know happens and just makes you melt?

Pack Parents: They’re pretty soft and heart-melty most of the time but as far as moments that actually exist/hypothetically exist: on a rougher, less cutesy front: One of their first official moments of friendship, when she’s having the baby at the hospital and the Mutts know she’s there and come to get the baby. Jeremy arrives in her room to check on her while also trying to scope out the Mutts, and then he’s about to leave her with the Shady Doctor, and considering that she still doesn’t entirely trust Jeremy but feels that he’s a genuinely good person/has been kind to her/etc and is clearly better than the guy who’s giving her Mutt vibes, all it takes is her grabbing his hand and giving him A Look and Jeremy basically immediately attaches himself to her side because he Gets It.   Also fast forward a couple of in-universe days where they’re back at Stone Haven and Alex wore herself out dealing with Baby Jamie and she’s out cold in the room so Jeremy covers her with the blanket. uwu

Johnnic: I think the only slightly heart-melty quality moment I’ve given them was that Christmas fic where it’s their first post-Collapse Christmas in the New World and Nic went out of her way to decorate the remains of the Ranch and they got a tree and everything and got to cuddle under a blanket watching Cal opening the presents they got him.
