Well, in the movie his name was Jan Valek, so I’ll probably stick with that where it’s planned to be a crossover.

Okay buttttt I have finally started an AU crossover idea.

Hoping to have it out for Halloween but make no promises - haven’t been in much of a writing mood these last few weeks but ….. a small snake peak.

Daniel shivers. “This is wrong.”

A long finger traces down his face, and Daniel notices the nails are shorter now. They were long and sharp enough to draw blood last time, and they had. Blood which Valek had licked up off his chest, rising and falling rapidly in both fear and arousal, although it was only the fear part Daniel would admit to.

“Why give us bodies like this, if not for pleasure, little one,” he purrs.

The boy is young, barely into his 20’s, if even that, but then what is age to a creature so old. The time he was from, the boy would have been wedded and bedded, with a family by now. If he hadn’t chosen a life of chastity and piety which, looking at the boy now, Valek can see what a waste that choice was. Face like that - body like that - his spirit shining through like a beacon - the innocence of it singing out to the worst of men. He should know, it’s what called for him. He was built for sin. Decadence and excess. Something he’ll be given once he’s in his rightful place, both under Valek and at his side.

Late afternoon

The TV plays in the background, EZ and Angel are on the couch, spread out, drinking a beer and occasionally chuckling at the screen. While they watch the movie, Blu finishes heating up some takeout then puts it in a bowl. Passing the brothers, she checks on Luz and tries to get her to eat.

The brunette is paler than yesterday, she’s sweating more than before and has a glazed look in her eyes. When offered the bowl, Luz gently pushes it away,

“I can’t.” she whispers, then rests her head back on the pillow.

“You need to eat something,” Blu tries again, Luz still wouldn’t take it.

Behind them, Blu hears one of the brothers approaching. Soon EZ joins them and sits at the end of the bed.

“Hey Luz,”

He waits until she looks at him to finish his thought,

“She’s right. The less you eat, the faster the virus moves through your bloodstream.”

Angel put his feet on the table, his eyes still on the screen, “don’t eat and you’ll be one of those vampire freaks sooner than later.”

EZ glanced at his brother as he spoke, then focused on Luz again,

“Are you feeling hungry at all? A craving you can't describe?”

She lifts her head from the pillow and tries to sit up, “no - I don’t know - maybe? I don’t want food but - my stomach is unsettled and I'm still thirsty.”

“It’s starting, “ EZ rubs the back of his neck as his eyes find Luz's again, "you need to eat. It buys all of us more time, including you.”

He picks up the crackers, the ones he placed on the bedside table a few hours ago. Luz studies him with tired eyes as he holds them out.

"Come on, you can do it." EZ reassures her with a small nod.

Reluctantly, Luz reaches in, takes two crackers, and eats them. After swallowing them, she sticks out her tongue,

“Happy?"

EZ chuckles, “have a few more, then we’ll see.”

Luz and EZ traded a glance, then she eventually took the box.

“You’ll be alright here?” Blu asks her, after getting a small nod, Blu leaves her and EZ then joins Angel on the couch.

As she sits, Angel glances at her while holding out the bag of chips,

“I’m good.” she declines with a small wave.

Silence passes between them for a couple of minutes, a short distance away, Luz and EZ are speaking quietly.

“Hey Angel, why the priests? Are they hunters too?"

He takes a swig of his beer before answering, “The Vatican sponsors the whole thing, pay us too. The Padre's play a role but we do the dirty work."

Blu let herself relax further on the couch, “I keep learning new shit everyday - so, are you guys religious then?”

“Not everybody, it depends. Me? I don’t go to church or nothing, but something about the Padre sayin’ prayer before we go in - I don’t know, “he shrugs, “it’s comforting or whatever.”

“I could see that."

“You and bite-size over there, why’d you save her?”

Blu observes Luz and EZ across the way, “she reminds me of someone I couldn’t save a long time ago. Guess you could say I'm extra protective of her."

Blu gets quiet and reflective; she didn’t plan on sharing that, not out loud at least.

“So this is like a second chance thing?” Angel asked.

“Yeah, something like that.”

When Sam and Dean’s parents were killed by vampires long ago, they were determined to hunt down and kill every last one of them. Allying themselves with the Catholic Church, they organized a crew of hunters armed with the best stakes and guns they could get. For years, they traveled together, defeating the evil bloodsuckers all along New Mexico. 

Their luck eventually ran out when they found a Master vampire who nearly kills them all. The brothers and Ruby - a yet-to-turn vampire with telepathic ties to the Master - are determined to avenge their friends. 

The head of the Catholic Church, Chuck, assigns Castiel to accompany them and help them with their goal of getting revenge - against the wishes of Dean of course. Meanwhile, Sam is falling for Ruby, who is becoming deadlier with each precious passing hour....

“Why haven’t you killed me? What could you possibly want me alive for?” Daniel asks and Valek just stares, cocking his head to the side, regarding the young priest. The statement truly belays his innocence - as if he hadn’t already tasted it in the younger man’s blood.

“I need you for the ritual,” and for after he thinks but the boy doesn’t need to know that yet. He doesn’t need to know he plans to keep the boy - his rightful companion - and that he plans on turning him once he himself is immune to the sun - no he won’t bite his young lover until he knows he can pass that trait along - they will both walk side by side hand in hand in the sun and moon light for all of eternity / the world there’s for the taking

“Once I have the cross that is. I’ll come for you - you have a very important job.”

Kind of want to write a story involving John Carpenter’s Vampires’ Valek (TIG’s character in said movie) in an AU where the ritual for Valek to be able to walk in the light involves not the blood and cruxifixction of a crusader BUT the deflowering of a virgin priest on an altar under the Berziers Cross. Daniel (of course) would be that virgin priest (circa KK1 - which was Ralph at 22).

Maybe throw in some reincarnation - Daniel is the reincarnation of Valek’s long lost love WHICH was the real reason they tried to exorcise him. Their forbidden love was discovered and while Valek was spared, his love wasn’t.

All these years, he’s been searching for the cross and the reincarnated soul of his dead love.
