I just read about Ricky Garcia coming forward about how his ex-manager sexually abused him for years. I think he is so brave to come forward. It is not easy in general for victims to come forward, let alone young victims in the entertainment industry. Makes me sick to think that some sicko was out there managing children for years and doing those terrible things...who knows if Ricky is even the only victim?

In addition, someone sent me a link showing that that manager (Joby Harte) was at Asher’s mom’s birthday party literally the other day, because apparently this guy also is/was Asher’s manager too. And to that I have to say what the actual fuck?? Why isn’t their first response to sever ties and protect Asher? My guess is probably because the abuse is still “alleged” and they probably believe their friend/manager is innocent, instead of believing the victim....which is sickening. It seems like his parents care more about $$$$ than Asher’s own well being. No offense, but if I had a child in this situation, I’d remove him from it ASAP, not invite the alleged abused to my birthday party.

What’s going on with Asher?

an article came out tonight further detailing the sexual abuse ricky garcia, a member of the boyband forever in your mind, went through since about 2014-ish. the one who primarily abused and r*ped him is a man by the name of joby harte, who is still, to this day, asher's manager.

ricky filed a lawsuit against joby that's been basically glossed over by the lapd. asher seems to be a friend of ricky's and his family has a good relationship with joby, but with this semi-active investigation into the whole situation with (at the very least, present accusations against) joby, wouldn't you think asher's family would want him as far away from joby as possible?

i just worry about his safety, both before and after the accusations & lawsuit came out. i would hate to think he ever suffered something similar to ricky throughout his time working with joby.

i just really want asher to be okay and to fire joby ASAP

edit: i forgot to emphasize, the abuse occurred primarily while ricky was underage!!! it began when he was 12. so that's further why i worry about asher, because clearly joby is a pedophile. (and until the firing of that actor from andi mack, disney seemed to turn a blind eye to all the pedophilic things happening amongst their clients.)

I think it is important to make a couple things here quite clear: first, it is true that this report's only source is the site of Tiffany FitzHenry, an independent journalist, at least from what I could see in a surface Google research. The article is recent. She does not state that Chris Pratt is actively a pedophile or a rapist, but implicates his involvement - and his former wife's, Anna Farris - in publicly known, at least for many Disney's employees, grooming and abuse of underage actors.

FitzHenry, according to her site, has been a victim of Hollywood's sexual harassment herself (as a former screenwriter), and has taken upon herself to denounce the industry's related crimes, after what she believes is God's calling. While she does come off as fundamentalist, mainly in the tweets linked above, it is important to say that Hollywood's - and Disney's - harassment and grooming accusations are factual.

The article OP linked is about the report of Tammy Garcia, whose son Ricky (Forever in Your Mind, ) has allegedly been constantly abused during his career in Disney. It is some very heavy stuff I'm not going to repeat here, but the actor has filed a lawsuit against some big names - like Joby Harte and Tyler Graham - which has also received a very harsh response from APA, the agency they work with. In fact, the entire accusation has been dismissed by the agency.

FutzHenry's report goes on to accuse APA, Disney and Hollywood of a huge pedophilia ring, which would involve actors such as Pratt, and it is important to mention that while the information she whites about should be taken with a grain of salt (she is so far the only source of much of what's written there), so should APA's denial of Garcia's accusation. The movie industry has been many times in the heart of this type of accusation, and if there is a big name that can cover up child abuse is Hollywood.

I think what we should take from this article is precisely the history of child abuse allegation Hollywood and, specifically, Disney has, which involves names such as Bella Thorne and Corey Feldman. FitzHenry has been particularly vocal about the matter. We know about the actors who were accused of abuse and the actors and actresses who were victims, we know about Millie Bobby Brown's grooming, we know the industry should be regarded with suspicion.

Point is, while we can't accuse Christ Pratt himself based solely on this article, we certainly should research more and talk more about everything involving Disney's big shots and harassment, grooming and pedophilia. What FitzHenry reports might be true, or it might be not, but the whole issue falls precisely on the so-called "why is no one talking a out this" internet limbo, and that is because they have no trouble covering it up. I can't for certain prove every allegation ever made by young actors against their agents and managers is true, but I certainly won't say it never happens. It is a matter we should try raising more awareness of.

Holy shit. I just looked him up, and Ricky Garcia from the boy band Forver In Your Mind was the one who pressed these charges. If I’m not wrong, he and Asher have definitely interacted online before, so it’s possible they know each other in real life. I hope Asher drops his manager immediately
