Rest, I’ll watch over you . ( Jiyan x reader)
so….. this is another fic! I really hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
You have to run .
The Tacet Dicords are increasing in waves .
No, why would you run? Don’t you have people to tend to? The soldiers need help , you are the only medic on filed . You cannot run . You must help others .
So you do , you bolt around , dodging Tacet Dicords lunging at you . You continue to help others , tugging them ,holding them , healing them .
After the same cycle repeats over and over again , you get used to it , settling in .
That was a mistake .
You weren’t so lucky now . The Tacet Dicords came upon you in waves , you struggle weaving around them trying not to get injured . You manage to survive for a while , but too soon , your legs collapse and the world goes black , the only thing you saw was every monster out for your blood .
Was it a peaceful dream? Did you have a dream? You can’t remember.
You drift in and out of consciousness, voices talking constantly. Yet , in your haze , you can always hear that voice , always . The warm , soft gentle voice you always heard when they would comfort you , or hold you in their arms , or praise you . Who was it? It’s on the tip of your tongue…..
Ah …. Now you remember…. It’s your lover , Jiyan ….You could never forget his teal hair and warm voice . How could you?
But…. This doesn’t sound like him … he sounds worried… that’s not good…. Why? Is it because of you?… How sweet , but he doesn’t need to worry .
Deciding that you’ve been keeping him distressed long enough , you attempt to open your eyes and stop studying the back of your eye lids .
That didn’t turn out well .
You were greeted with a blinding light that sliced through your nerves and left you defenseless against the searing laser that burned your eyes.
You groans and tried to move your hand to block your face and save you from the searing light , but to your surprise, instead of your hand that covered your eyes , a hand clad in gold armor covered your face for you .
You looked around to see soft honey eyes looking back at you with such worry .
You reach for him only to be met with a burning pain . Wincing you look at your arm , only to almost puke .
Burned to a molten red with multiple scars around it , some flesh poking out while the rest curled in unnaturally . You looked away immediately. Would Jiyan not like you anymore?…..
As if he knew what you were thinking , he gently rubbed his hand across your arm , avoiding the wounds , as he kissed your forehead , gently murmuring sweet nothings .
“ Dear… please don’t worry , I’ll love you no matter what , if anything , I love you even more for attempting to help others . “ His voice was sweet at first , but then it hardened . “ However , I will not allow you back onto the battlefield. Your arm has retained multiple damages and it’s likely your nerves will not work properly… You can’t ever do that again . “
His voice wavers as he gives in and places his head on your collarbone . “ You made me worry so much ….”
Your eyes soften .
“ I’m so sorry for worrying you …” You attempt to soothe his nerves but then he raises his head and places his lips on yours .
“ It’s okay, just please… don’t ever do that He nuzzles your neck gently , careful to avoid touching any wounds as he pampers you in affection.
Soon enough, you begin to tire as your body gives up because of how much time you’ve spent awake .
Your lover notices your eyes threatening to close and reassures you . “ Don’t worry , rest now . I’ll be here when you wake up .“
He gently takes hold of the hand that isn’t injured and kisses it . He then pets your head and gently kisses your cheek .
“Rest , I’ll watch over you “
————————————————————————
I hope you enjoyed this thing! I really don’t have anyone to proof-read this and give any opinions on it so critique is welcomed!

✧˖° first dates with them. | lingyang, m!rover, jiyan headcanons.
Tumblr media
⋆ ˚☁️ ⁀➴ synopsis: going on a first date is always nerve wracking, yet can also be exciting! what's it like for these boys to take you out on your first date together?
⋆ ˚☁️ ⁀➴ characters involved (separate): lingyang, male rover, jiyan, and a gender neutral reader.
⋆ ˚☁️ ⁀➴ warnings: none!
⋆ ˚☁️ ⁀➴ notes: hello! coming to you live with my first post for wuwa! just some cute little headcanons with the boys on first dates with you because i love planning dates out ;;!! requests are open if you want to talk or have me write something!! ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡)
Tumblr media
Lingyang
Lingyang has never been more excited or nervous to hang out with someone, even more so since this was his first date with you.
As someone who always seemed to fear being different from the humans around him, he felt extra self-conscious when he looked in the mirror and adjusted his outfit. Did he look alright? Were you going to enjoy this as much as he thought he would? Will everything go well? What if you decided you changed your mind and didn’t want to date someone of his species?
His first date gift for you would be a small lion plushie. Cute and fluffy with vibrant colors, he’d hold it out in front of him and shut his eyes tight, anxiety flowing through him. “These are for you! That way, when you miss me, you can hug this! If you want to, no pressure!”
He’d be ecstatic when you took it into your hands and held it throughout your date together, happily looking between you and the plush and feeling his cheeks turn a rosy pink that you two were going out together.
He’d probably take you to the best food spots all around Jinzhou, ranting about which dishes to try or who had his favorite foods. He’d want to get to know you more, curious and nervous as he’s asking you about your likes, dislikes, what your daily life is like in Jinzhou. Lingyang would walk and eat with you along the way, practically enamored by anything you did or said.
His tail would swish fast back and forth whenever you were talking. Even if it’s something you found mundane, he couldn’t help but be happy just listening to you speak. His ears will also be very reactive around you, usually up but always reacting accordingly to whenever you’d tell a story or joke with him.
He’ll let you pet him if you want to, he trusts you after all. His cheeks flush a soft pink and he lets out a small purr when you do so, finding himself growing a bit shyer at the sweet touch. He also feels a tad embarrassed by it, so you’ll have to pry his hands away as he childishly hides the way he’s turning red from you.
He seems a little bit sad when you two do have to part, but when you ask him when the next one would be, a hopeful look emerges in his eyes as he begins to excitedly make plans to see you again and take you on another date.
Other Points:  - Will jump in place when super excited to tell you something while on the date.  - Would point to some random cute things on your walk and go, “That reminds me of you!” - Happy to talk about lion dancing with you, and if you show more interest in it, he’ll offer to give you your own personal show one day!
Rover (Male)
Considering he is a person that just woke up in a strange world with no memories of his past or who he is, he is a bit lost on the idea of what to do during a date with you. Were there rules he had to follow? Did people in Jinzhou have certain taboos or ways that they executed dates?
He’d most likely ask all around the city in order to find out what to do or where to take you. He wanted to make sure the experience was good after all, not something that the both of you would dread.
When he meets up with you, his hair is a bit more put together than usual and he stands up tall, giving you a small smile as he gently takes your arm and links it with his.
“Take me around the city. Show me how you see the world through your eyes.”
His first date gift would be a small box of candy. I could definitely see Rover as being a person who likes small sweet treats as a guilty pleasure, and he’d want to share them with you as a way of connecting you with something that you love.
He’s calm throughout most of your stroll, browsing through stores or looking around in quiet curiosity as you show him little nooks and crannies of the city. He enjoyed hearing how you would describe stores or fixate on different areas of the city that he hadn’t thought to really pay attention to before.
He makes a mental note of the places that you like so that for your next date, you two could come back to them. Rover is already a few steps ahead in terms of thinking where he wants to go with you or what he wants to do.
When you’re done showing him the city, he’ll give you a kind, endearing look and smile at you. He’ll take a moment to just admire you, shifting some of your hair out of your face and enjoy being in your presence before ultimately, it is time to part ways. He’ll wave you off, thanking you for everything and giving him a tour, before he smiles to himself like a fool and turns to head back to his quarters.
Other Points: - Probably would be looking at you more than the city.  - Fast walker, so you’d have to keep up the pace. Apologies if he’s going too fast and happens to catch you struggling. - Will inquire about certain places just to listen to you talk.
Jiyan
As the general of the Midnight Rangers that conducts himself in a poised, righteous manner, he’d be the most classy out of all the people to take you out on a date.
Jiyan’s got a busy schedule as the head of such an important group in Jinzhou, but after bonding with you and asking you out he wanted to ensure that he carved out time in advance for just you and him to spend an afternoon together.
He’d take you to a fancy restaurant in Jinzhou, the best money can buy. He’d be sure to pick you up from your place and walk with you to the restaurant. When you open the door, he’s standing in front of you with his hair slicked back and ponytail waving a bit in the wind, his clothes pristine and ironed out to look his absolute best in front of you.
His present for you is a bouquet of flowers he made himself. He enlisted the help of his mom for this one, catching up with her about medical practices as he puts together the best pecok, irises, and poppies that he could find when he was out on his rounds into a pretty bouquet just for you. It’s wrapped up with brown paper and has a nice aqua bow on it, matching his hair.
When you get to the restaurant, he’ll look at the menu with you and ask you to order anything your heart desires. He already knows what he wants to eat, and will quietly look at you with a softened expression as you begin choosing what you want. He finds the way you handle yourself beautiful, even if it’s through simple things like ordering food.
Jiyan will happily eat anything you don’t end up finishing. He doesn’t want to waste money, and he also cannot deny that the way you ask him to finish your plate was cute. He’ll work it off anyways with the amount of fighting and training he does, so he doesn’t mind.
Will pay for the meal. No splitting or you paying, as much as you might plead and beg.
Will take you back to your place and entertain any questions you may have for him, whether it be about his past, missions he’s been on, or just about his duties as general of the Midnight Rangers. When he drops you off, he’d take the back of your hand and gently place a kiss on it before standing up straight and giving you a small smile, wishing you a goodnight.
Other Points: - Will hold all your belongings so your hands are free and light. Does not matter how heavy or how much you have, he will refuse to let you “labor” like that, as he puts it.  - Admires your personality and the way you hold yourself when you speak. - Has a strong desire to protect you; always subconsciously keeping an eye out for any danger even though it’s daylight out.

Hello! I saw your asks were open and wanted to know if you'd be ok with this headcanons request: Wuthering Waves male characters finding out fem/Reader has a tacet mark in an embarrassing area (we have most characters with normal places like hand, neck, back, but what about when you can't show your tacet mark)? Have a great day!
✧₊⊹Finding Your Tacet Mark | Jiyan, Calcharo & Scar
Tumblr media
𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 — Fem!Reader, Suggestive, Light kissing, light NSFW
✧ 𝐉𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐧
Jiyan had you pinned against the desk in his office. Even though this was far from professional, he just had to let himself indulge in a small bit of you. It was rare to see you dressed in such casual clothes outside of your Ranger Uniform and the sight of you in that short skirt made him feel like a starving man. He didn’t waste any time pulling you into his office the first chance he saw, unable to take the temptation anymore.
The soft blush on your cheeks only encouraged his exploration. His strong hands sliding up your stocking clad thighs, propping your legs higher so he can see you in all of your beauty. The motion pushed your skirt up to pool around your hips, giving him a damn good view. Oh, but the man wanted more… so much more of you that he was slowly going crazy. One of his fingers hooked into the thin fabric of your stocking to slowly pull them down. Jiyan was like a kid unwrapping a present on Christmas morning and you can clearly see the anticipation growing in his eyes. A wave of embarrassment washes over you as he revealed what you had been hiding from him all this time - your tacet mark placement. His brow quirks up, interest flashing in his eyes at finding the unique placement on your thigh of all places. No wonder you always made sure to keep it hidden with your uniform - he wouldn’t know how to focus if you were constantly exposing this area.
Rough fingertips brush over the darken star shaped marks on your skin, tracing the pattern slowly with a hum of approval. You advert your eyes from the sight, mumbling under your breath how embarrassing it was for the mark to appear on your inner thigh of all places.
“Don’t be embarrassed, love.” A low chuckle rumbles from his chest as he leans down to press his lips against the source of your power. His golden eyes flickered up as a shutter rushed through your body, his ears being rewarded with the sounds of your soft moans. He couldn’t help but be a little smug at finding another sensitive spot on your gorgeous body.
“I’ll show you how beautiful your tacet mark is.”
✧ 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐨
Heavy footsteps echoed down the hall of the Ghost Hounds’ base as Calcharo chased after you. You couldn’t help but let out a mischievous giggle as your feet swiftly carried you around the corner. Excitement and anticipation coursed through your veins as the game of cat and mouse continued. It was only a matter of time before you were caught.
The footsteps drew ever closer and you were running out of places to go. You turned left at another intersection. As you ran, you realized that this hallway was definitely the wrong choice to make your grand escape. You reached the dead end. It wasn’t before long a hand caught your arm and pulled you back with a gentle tug. Your body was pushed against the cool surface of the wall seconds later. You gaze up at Calcharo’s calculating stare with a semi innocent look on your face.
“You have something that belongs to me, doll. Now, my shirt please?” The man raised an eyebrow, his tone leaving no room for argument.
Though, even with his stoic nature, you could clearly see the amusement in his expression- essentially with the small quirk of his lips. He had definitely enjoyed this little trick of yours. You gave him your best pouty face as he tried to remove the shirt, lifting it over your head. Though his motion froze when his eyes caught a familiar star shaped marking on your hip. You looked down to where he was staring and- oh. The tacet mark.
Heat of embarrassment flooded your veins as you tried to squirm away. Too bad Calcharo’s hold on your wrist was unrelenting. “Seems like you've been hiding something else from me.”
Your mouth opens as you try to come up with an excuse, anything to explain why you never showed him the placement of that mark. Yet only a squeak escaped when his cool fingers brushed against it without warning. Oh that shouldn’t have affected  you the way it did. Amusement had definitely bled more into his expression - that rare, goddamn smirk pulling at his lips.
“That’s it, be a good girl and stay still for me.” Your knees got just a bit weaker from his voice, “Let me investigate this mark you tried to hide from me.”
✧ 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐫
A sigh leaves your lips as you open the door to the bathroom, steam pouring out as you walk. There was a towel wrapped around your damp body, hair still dripping from the water. You have moved over to your drawers when warm arms suddenly wrap around your middle. A chin found its place on your shoulder and you could feel the person’s soft hair brush against your ear. You jolted a little in surprise at the sudden gesture but you knew exactly whose arms they belong to. There was only one person that would invite themselves into your house with no warning.
Scar makes a delightful hum as he presses against you from behind, his hands wasting no time in exploring the natural curves of your body covered by the towel. The man was always the touchy type no matter who was around and where they were. He made sure to find any situation to make you flustered.
“My, what an interesting placement” His tone was a smug one, like he had just discovered a rare, hidden treasure. It took you a few moments to realize what exactly he was talking about before you clutch the towel tighter in embarrassment. Your tacet mark, resting right above your breasts, was currently out in all of its glory. He was never meant to see it - you had kept it dutifully hidden for a reason! Now, he was definitely going to abuse that knowledge. You sputter trying to get an explanation out, your hands pulling the towel up higher to cover the dark, star-shaped marks from his sight. A laugh rings in your ears as he turns you both to face the mirror next to the closet. You can spot his signature shit eating grin in the reflection as his hands reach up to replace yours with his own. The towel, your last line of defense, fell to the floor with a thud.
“Oh no, don’t even think about hiding it now, little sheep” He mutters in your reddened ears, “I’m definitely going to have fun with you~”

Helo helo, I hope it's alright you since this is my first request. Can I request Jiyan where he found a child (gender neutral) wandering around because they lost their family after the battle he fought off? When the child is brought to the camp, Jiyan is protective over the child and wants to keep them safe. They don't want to leave Jiyan when being sent to the Jinzhou since they think of him highly and coolly. After that, when they see him again, they give him a gift as gratitude for saving them. (I love wholesome hcs and yes it's platonic)
Ignore this if you're not up to, since I see you having a bad time of receiving "didn't follow the rules" requests 😭🙏 and thanks you for reading this
Platonic! Jiyan saving child! reader

He already knew he has a soft spot for you, but he knew it would be too dangerous for you to stay at the base while there was still a war going on
Jiyan makes sure to promise you that he will come back to see you before you are send to Jinzhou, even giving you an old trinket of his to keep it safe for him
After the war, he immediately asks for you when he comes back to Jinzhou, and the moment you see him you ran to him, hugging him
Jiyan was happy that you are safe and sound, he was suprised to see that you kept the trinket he had given you, you even made two matching trinkets for you and him
He is thankful to you and promises that he will take care of the trinket, its now his good luck charm, and he even lets you keep his old trinket

crawl a little further on the bed ✩ ˛˚ .
𝜗𝜚 synopsis ⦂ scar's dirty mouth landed you in a situation where he has no choice but to see you get fucked by your beloved jiyan, who wants to make sure that the criminal knows you're his. 𝜗𝜚 warnings ⦂ scar x reader x jiyan, dom!jiyan, reader has female attributes, jiyan and reader are dating, doggy style, implied threesome, tummy bulge, sir kink, slight degrading, dirty talk, hair pulling and bondage (scar is tied up).
𝜗𝜚 notes ⦂ i have never played wuthering waves (and i doubt i will because of my time w genshin) but a friend gave me some ideas for these two losers and i just had to write it hehe <33
Tumblr media
"jiyan, come on, man. you've had your fun with the pretty baby, don't cha think?" scar huffed with a cocky grin, watching as the teal haired man flip you onto your stomach, pushing his thick cock into your gummy walls.
"mhm, shut up, scar. fucking bastard..." jiyan snapped back, ploughing into you at a speed so fast that you swore you could see stars.
god knows how long this has been going on. hell, you're too braindead to think about anything else other than jiyan and his cock that continuously shows a bulge on your stomach every time he thrusts back inside. a slight tug of your head snaps you out of your fucked out trance, looking up at the well-built man with teary eyes.
"s-sir, i wa-- ngh, i want a kiss. please c-can i have a kiss?" you sniffed, a euphoric feeling rushed through your vieins as jiyan grabbed your neck and kissed you roughly, despite intending to give his angel the softest kiss imaginable.
jiyan is always soft when it comes to you; even now, he isn't usually this rough. but that bastard scar just couldn't keep his mouth shut about how much better he'd be able to treat you and that the imprints on your body from his teeth and fingers would sure to stay for a couple of months, just to show everyone he's the better man.
thinking back on it only made jiyan go harder on your pretty body, forcing your back into such a sexy arch that scar was sure he was gonna cum on the spot from. truth be told, he got hard from the moment the teal-haired man tied him up, but of course he was never gonna admit that (unless he tries it with you).
"how we holdin' up there, baby?" scar smirked, shifting in his seat as he manspreads. "you think he's doing a good job? or do you want me to show you a good time?"
before you could even answer, jiyan had your face shoved into the mattress. the sounds of your muffled moans only made jiyan go harder and rougher as he looked back at scar. despite the red-rooted criminal pissing him off to no extent, jiyan has to admit that if it weren't for him, you would have never felt this much pleasure before.
"don't look at him, angel. just pay attention to me; the stupid bastard is just bluffin'," jiyan panted heavily, the grip on your hair growing tighter as scar's mocking laughter echoed through the room.
"you really think i'd go back on my word?" he laughed once more, his cock throbbing painfully in desperate need for release. "c'mon, baby doll; my dick is hurting so bad and i need a good slut to help me out. i'll cum in ya mouth if you prefer that, but i'm sure i can stretch you so good that tight hole would be crying out f' me."
slowly turning your head for your flushed cheek to rest on the mattress, the sight of a tent in scar's pants made drool and drip down your puffy lips. it was a grand idea to imagine; jiyan continuing to pivot his hips with his curve brushing up and down your walls while scar facefucked you until you saw the gates of heaven.
with the little courage you had in you, your hand gently grabbed hold of jiyan's wrist as he clutched onto your wrist. almost immediately, he knew what you were going to ask, furrowing his eyebrows as he said "no, angel. i'm not letting him touch what's mine."
"ngh, please, sir," you barely managed to speak that whole sentence with how sore your throat was. "it-- it'll just be a one time thing. i promise," a sniff escaped your nose, slowly turning your cock stuffed body on its back to face him.
christ, jiyan could never say no to you. if he could, he would give you the entire world, but the thought of having to share his one and only with someone else (especially when it comes to scar), he'd rather die. however, upon jiyan cracking his head towards the criminal, who looked at him with an 'i told you so' smirk, you felt your boyfriend's cock slip out of you as he stepped off the bed.
"like they said, this is just gonna be a one time thing," jiyan stated darkly, untying the red ropes from around the bound criminal's wrists and legs against the chair.
scar only hummed softly, opening and closing his hands to relax them before pushing the teal haired man back. "yeah yeah, we'll see after who makes them cum the most," his red eyes darted towards you, glistening with more lust than he was before. "heh, might even be a little bit better if i got you to squirt, baby."

hello!! jiyan, calcharo scar and aalto with a teen!reader who is like yunli?
reader is obssesed with swords, acts like a cat sometimes, is a big foodie and is childish and mature at the same time :3
the young sword weilder
Tumblr media
synopsis - how are they with a teen like yunli
includes - jiyan, calcharo, aalto, scar
warnings - gn!teen!reader, fluff, wc - 658
Tumblr media
jiyan ★↷
↪he was first introduced to you when you were recommended to join the midnight rangers. jiyan saw you as too young to join but he had to admit your skills were impressive for your age - and so he took it upon himself to train you himself until you could join.
↪although it quickly devolved into him practically becoming a parental figure to you. outside of training, jiyan could be observed as taking you round jinzhou and buying you swords for your collection or buying you whatever food you pleased.
↪or even simply being around you at all times. jiyan found your company rather enjoyable, your maturity certainly helped with that as he found he could treat you as an adult and have a rather refreshing conversation with you.
calcharo ★↷
↪he definitely has a soft spot for kids and teens even if he doesn't show it. so if you went through the same as him, being exiled from the new federation's lawless zone, he made an exception and brought you into the ghost hounds.
↪normally he probably wouldn't allow a teenager into the group but as the leader (and founder) he made an exception - especially considering your skill with a sword which he found rather admirable, something he hoped he could help you hone.
↪calcharo quickly saw how most of the time you acted much more mature than you were, and don't get him wrong, he thought it was a good thing. although as he got to know you better he was rather glad that you still embraced your actual childish side occasionally.
↪he also quickly discovered how quickly his resolve would melt when you dragged him off to grab food, he could never say no - and even if he may act annoyed, he enjoyed being dragged around.
aalto ★↷
↪all sorts of people can be found at black shores, you were one such person. a new face in the group but a welcome one nonetheless. aalto first found you with encore who was excitedly showing you around.
↪aalto had a lot of experience with encore and so he found himself naturally looking after you, especially while you were getting used to being a black shore member. he would always encourage you to come with him and aalto when they went on “expeditions” and such.
↪he quickly learnt just how quickly those were, especially when he ended up treating you an encore to food whenever you were drawn to some treat that reminded you of your seemingly endless hunger.
↪it also became quickly known how skilled you were with your sword, a handy skill for when business deals went south. although your evergrowing sword collection did not contribute to his diminishing amount of money.
scar ★↷
↪should not be allowed near you in phrolova's opinion. although knowing that he did know you, she only pitied you. but in scars's opinion, phrolova didn't know what she was talking about as scar would never hurt you or anything like that.
↪you were a good kid in his opinion, and the fractsidus would always protect you. scar still pushed for his ideals but if anything he hoped that they would help you as well.
↪admittedly, your skills with your sword were certainly helpful for them but scar would never push you to do anything as that would only make you a target. scar didn't want you being put in any harm at all.
↪your more childish side certainly matched his cunning side - which may or may not worry phrolova but scar thought it was funny. and he definitely had no issue with indulging you when it came down to you dragging him to any food stall or store that enticed you.

Hello! I hope you are doing well <3
This is a different experience for me as I don’t really request much.. let me know if this is disrespectful or not! but I was hoping to request Jiyan x male/gn reader (i have no preference) angst?
Jiyan has so much angst potential, especially in his story/companion quest! My idea was centered around the reader death (long before this plot) with Jiyan who is still coping about their death. During the retroact rain tacet discords are mimicking their s/o calling out to him like they are still alive. They poke and prod at his vulnerability, with Jiyan having this inner turmoil of how to overcome this.
Thank you for your time! Whether that be indulging in my thoughts or for just reading this request, I appreciate it <3 Take care!
Hi thank you! I'm okay ^^ I hope you are well.
This isn't disrespectful at all don't worry! You did great for a new requester :)
This was quite a sad concept poor Jiyan, giving him hugs.
I hope you still like this even though it doesn't 100% follow the request! Sorry about that, sometimes writing has its own mind without my input..
Tumblr media
Jiyan’s grip tightened on his lance after Geshu Lin’s phantom disappeared from sight. No longer haunted by his previous General, he took a deep breath. He turned inwards to the building, he had things to prepare for the coming battle. He had an army to lead and a city to protect. He couldn’t hesitate now.
And yet that was exactly what he did.
Golden eyes moved to the left as he heard a familiar voice. His breath caught in his throat and his heart twisted in an uncomfortable manner. No. He couldn’t listen, he couldn’t falter. Jiyan looked forward, head held high.
He walked forward, ignoring the voice he sorely missed.
Every action he took, accompanied by that familiar voice, that missed pitch, the yearning frequency. It was all a trick. Jiyan knew that, he was aware, he wasn’t stupid. Geshu Lin had been difficult to deal with, but he stuck to his knowledge.
But it was different this time, and the General knew that.
You were dead.
Every breath he took was accompanied by the pained beating of his heart. His head swam. Grief. His mother was always so insistent on his grief. That it was something he needed to face, needed to conquer, cope with. But Jiyan always brushed it off. There was no time was his excuse. But he knew better. He knew better, he just cared too much.
He stepped away, finding a barren spot where he could be alone with his thoughts. Jiyan crossed his arms over his chest as he looked out from the small hill he stood on. Clawed fingers of his gauntlet dug into his opposing arm as your voice once more infiltrated his ears, his mind.
The old General wasn’t the only loss three years prior and it was a guilt that Jiyan struggled with.
Jinzhou was a battlefield.
The Resonator looked up, watching as the rain fell upwards. His face still wet as the rain caressed his skin as it floated upwards above him. He uncrossed his arms, lifting his hand to follow the path of the rain.
He’d been a medic back then, but your life was not one he could save.
The General’s hand closed in a tight fist, arm dropping back down to his side. Even with the antidote against the rain, he could still hear you calling out to him after all these years. But he was left with a lingering fear that if he turned around he’d be faced with the tacet discords that similarly used Geshu Lin against him.
Geshu Lin had obtained an infamous reputation for his choice to stand strong, blamed for the loss of their soldiers.
And you.
Jiyan’s eyebrows furrowed as he closed his eyes, unable to take the soft whimpers of his name, you hadn’t even cried for help, you simply told him to push on, to leave you behind. Was that how he knew the phantom behind him was nothing more than a mimic? Perhaps. Or your phantom was influenced by his own regret.
Huanglong did not know of the sacrifice you made to send him forward.
“You’ll come back for me, Jiyan. You always do.”
He turned his head away, chewing the inside of his cheek until he tasted blood on his tongue. No positive outcomes that day could ever wash away the reality of it all. He’d lost a lover, he’d lost a friend. One forgotten, one cast as a villain.
“Jiyan.. My love? Is it really that bad? Oh don’t look at me like that!”
“Don’t look at me like that.”
“I’ll be okay, really!”
Jiyan opened his eyes.
All he had done was retreat.

So, here we are. This chapter is shorter than the others, but I wanted to wrap up the first part of the story in a sweet way, and this is what came out. It's pure fluff—I hope you like it! :) More will happen in the next parts, I just need to get back into writing and feel good about it. Thank you for being patient with me, and I’m sorry for the long wait. Comments make me very happy..
Pairing: Cillian x OC (Jiyan Fabris)
Summary: The end of the first part of the story, where they both finally found their balance.

Chapter 9 - Glow of the Water
“You know, I always expect the worst from this island, but I’m glad it surprises me sometimes,” Jiyan said with a playful smile.
Cillian, who was driving, shot her a mildly offended look. They had just left Galway, where the night before he’d celebrated the 35th anniversary of the local theatre with fellow actors and screenwriters. It was also where she finally met his famous friend Enda—the one he couldn’t stop talking about.
The event had been incredible—watching all the interconnected plays was engaging, and Jiyan finally got to see Cillian perform on stage, which was one of the most special things he shared with her. Afterward, the actors gathered at a local pub for a lively, traditional Irish night. It was the most fun Jiyan had had in months, especially watching Cillian and Enda get tipsy a bit too quickly, something she found endlessly amusing. Teasing her drunk boyfriend might have bordered on cruelty, but she had enjoyed it far too much to care.
The following morning, after a couple of Bloody Marys for Cillian—and tea for Jiyan, who still couldn’t understand why anyone would want to drink tomatoes (tomatoes were for cooking or salads, not for juice)—and a hearty breakfast, they set off for the coast. Jiyan hadn’t seen much of Ireland outside Dublin, except for a visit to Cork with Cillian, but she’d never explored the western coast or the countryside, which Cillian found hard to believe. She’d been in Ireland for nearly five months, as he reminded her while planning the trip, and still hadn’t visited some of its most beautiful spots. To him, that needed immediate fixing.
“What do you mean?” Cillian asked, frowning slightly.
“Well, you have to admit, as lovely as it is, it’s always raining. And when it’s not, the sun plays hide-and-seek with the clouds. I almost cried last week when the weatherman said we were in for a ‘nice week.’ You know why? Because that ‘nice week’ meant sixteen hours of sunshine. Sixteen hours. For the whole week! That has to violate the Geneva Convention or something.”
“The ‘weatherman’?” Cillian asked, amused.
“In Italy, we’d call him uccello del malaugurio—someone who only brings bad news and somehow makes it happen.”
“I’m pretty sure he’s not actually controlling the weather, love.”
“He’s bringing bad luck, I swear! I know you Irish are used to this, but I’m not. The other day, a woman probably thought I was lost. I kept weaving between buildings, crossing the street a thousand times, trying to chase the sun!”
Cillian stifled a groan, well aware of how frustrating it was to walk with her on sunny days. He almost preferred when it rained, because Jiyan would prepare like a marine about to head into battle—wrapped in two scarves, a beanie covering most of her face—and would march through the streets, efficient and fast. But on sunny days? It was like following an overexcited child with no sense of direction. She’d zigzag across the street, dodging every shadow cast by buildings, street lamps, anything that blocked the sun. She’d jaywalk without hesitation just to stay in the light, and sometimes she even abandoned the sidewalk to walk in the middle of the road. Needless to say, the neighbours had become extra watchful whenever Jiyan was out and about.
The playful banter faded naturally, giving way to the soft sound of Nina Simone’s voice, setting a relaxed, comfortable mood in the car. They were driving along a coastal road where the cliffs met the ocean, the peaceful day mirroring the calm inside. Unlike the stormy days before, the sea was serene, and the sun hung lazily on the horizon. Even with the windows closed, Jiyan could hear the distant calls of seagulls, blending perfectly with Nina Simone’s soothing voice from the speakers.
Cillian’s hand had unconsciously found its way to her leg, drawing lazy circles with his thumb, while Jiyan absentmindedly caressed his forearm. She felt more relaxed than she had in a long time, simply enjoying the scenery and the warm sunlight spilling through the window.
“So why do you say it surprises you?” he asked.
“Well, even though this isn’t exactly my kind of weather, it’s really beautiful—and I’m kind of surprised by that,” she joked, then turned toward him and took his hand. She smiled softly and paused for a moment. “Thank you for today.”
Cillian glanced at her, returning her smile as if trying to capture the moment forever—Jiyan with her wild hair escaping the messy bun, gazing out toward the ocean, her eyes reflecting the different shades of the water.
“We’re almost there,” he said, holding her hand and kissing it.
Tumblr media
The trail seemed to fly by as they walked along the cliffs, the beauty of the landscape unlike anything Jiyan had ever experienced. She thought, if there was a place where the colour green had been invented, it had to be here.
They spent most of the hike chatting—getting into lively talks about European and American cinema and even a passionate debate over The Beatles over the Rolling Stones. But once they reached the Cliffs of Moher, the conversation faded, and Jiyan just stood there, quiet, taking in the stunning view.
She leaned back against Cillian’s chest, his arms wrapped tightly around her. Her hands rested on his, holding him as she soaked in the moment, lost in the scenery and the peacefulness surrounding them.
She snuggled deeper into Cillian’s embrace, letting out a contented sigh.
"I love this," she said softly, her voice barely louder than the wind. "It’s beautiful. I don’t think I’ve felt this at peace in... I can’t even remember when."
Cillian hummed in agreement, pulling her even closer. Her hair, tousled by the breeze, brushed against his chin as he pressed a soft kiss to the side of her head.
They stood there for a while, wrapped in each other and the wild beauty surrounding them. The cliffs stretched out endlessly, meeting the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean below. The sea, dark and restless, crashed against the rocks, but the horizon was calm, the late afternoon sun casting a golden light over everything.
"I’m glad you finally got to see this," Cillian murmured, his voice low. "I’ve been wanting to bring you here since we were in Cork."
Jiyan smiled, her gaze still fixed on the ocean. "I get it now. It’s... overwhelming in the best way. It feels like time just stops here."
Cillian chuckled softly, resting his chin on her shoulder. "That’s Ireland for you. It has a way of pulling you in, even when you least expect it."
She tilted her head slightly, looking up at him, her eyes warm and bright. "Thank you for bringing me here," she said, her voice softer and more intimate this time.
"Anytime," he whispered, giving her a gentle squeeze. "It’s moments like this that make all the rain and cloudy days worth it."
They stood together in comfortable silence, both lost in the tranquillity of the moment. Finally, Jiyan broke the stillness, her tone light but playful as she glanced up at him.
“If I had told Samyah last year that I’d find peace—and a whole new life—in Ireland, she probably would’ve staged an intervention,” Jiyan chuckled.
Cillian stiffened slightly, unsure of what to say. He hesitated for a moment before speaking. "You’ve never really talked again about... about what happened, about her. I didn’t want to pry."
Jiyan tightened her grip on his arms around her waist, as if steadying herself. She let out a soft breath. "I never really talked about what happened—before that day when I had the panic attack. It was too painful, and I just hoped I could forget it, lock it away. There are still things that happened after, but I'm not ready to talk about them yet. I don’t even know how to explain it. Then I met you, and I thought I could move on, be happy, and leave everything in the past. But it didn’t work like that. After we got back from Cork, after your sister’s birthday, the panic attacks started again."
"You didn’t tell me..." he said softly, his concern evident.
She turned in his arms to face him. "I know. I’m sorry. I just hoped that if I ignored it long enough, it would disappear."
Cillian cupped her face gently, his thumb brushing her cheek. "I don’t think it works that way, love."
"No, it doesn’t," she replied with a half-hearted smile, sadness lingering in her eyes. "That’s why I started seeing a therapist. And it’s helping… it’s helping a lot."
"You started therapy? When?" he asked, slightly surprised.
"Not long ago, I swear. I’m only on my third session," she said quickly. "I know I should’ve told you sooner, but I wanted to keep it to myself until I felt more comfortable. Honestly, I haven’t been the best patient... I’m not great at asking for help, and it took me a while to figure it out," she admitted. Her voice softened then, her eyes searching his. "Are you... is it okay?"
Cillian’s gaze fixed on her, and he gently placed his hands on her arms. "Am I...? Jiyan, of course. This is good. This is really good." He paused, trying to find the right words. "You’re one of the strongest people I know, but I can’t imagine how hard it must’ve been dealing with everything that happened. I want to help, but sometimes... I'm really not sure how."
"Therapy is good—it’s so important," he continued, hesitating for a moment as he glanced around, almost like the scenery might give him the words he needed. "There were days when I could tell something was off. You seemed distant, and I thought giving you space was the right thing to do... that maybe you didn’t want to be pushed. I’m sorry if I wasn’t there when you needed me." he concluded lowering his gaze.
Jiyan shook her head gently, her eyes softening. "Cillian, you’ve already helped more than you know. You didn’t need to fix everything. You just had to be here, and you were. That’s all I needed."
He exhaled slowly, relieved by her words but still carrying a hint of hesitation. "I just... I hate that you went through this alone. I should’ve said something or done more."
She smiled, placing her hand over chest, just above his heart. "I’m working through a lot of things, but one thing I’m sure about... You came into my life exactly when I needed you. I wasn’t ready before, and I don’t think I would’ve let anyone in." Her voice softened as she continued, "But you made it safe for me. I know I shut down sometimes, but you’ve always been patient. You gave me space when I needed it and support when I couldn’t ask for it."
Cillian lowered his head, resting his forehead against hers. "I’m glad, but... I’m here, Jiyan. It’s not just you—I’m here," he emphasised again. "You don’t have to carry it all alone."
"I know," she whispered. "It’s not easy for me, but I’m learning that it’s okay to lean on people again."
They stood there for a moment, forehead to forehead, the gentle sound of the ocean filling the quiet between them. The weight of her words seemed to settle around them, but instead of feeling heavy, it brought a sense of lightness, as if a burden had finally been lifted.
Cillian stepped back slightly, gazing at the person who had entered his life like a hurricane and somehow filled every gap, every empty space inside him. He thought about all the times his friends or brother, after yet another failed relationship, had told him he’d just know when he met the right person. They said it would feel natural, intense, and effortless—he wouldn’t even have to think about it. And they were right. Before he realised it, he was completely connected to her.
“Tá mé i ngrá leat,” he murmured, feeling Jiyan stiffen slightly.
"You..." she started.
"You don’t have to say anything," he said gently. "I just... Tá mé i ngrá leat, Jiyan," he repeated, cupping her face.
“Ez jî ji te hez dikim,” she whispered back.
"What?" he asked, baffled.
"What, I know what you told me in Irish, and you don’t understand Kurdish?" she teased, a playful smile spreading across her face.
Cillian laughed softly, his expression warming. "I think you’ve got the advantage when it comes to languages, Aji."
"I love you too," she said again, this time more softly, and then kissed him slowly. She poured all her emotions into the kiss—all the love, gratitude, and vulnerability she had held inside. Cillian responded in kind, holding her even closer as the moment deepened.
When the kiss finally ended, they stayed like that, forehead to forehead, breathing heavily, as if they’d both come up for air after diving deep into something profound.
"Okay, this was amazing—I love you, and the place is beautiful," Jiyan said with a teasing tone, "but it’s freezing, way too cold for tiny Mediterranean me. Can we go back?"
Cillian laughed softly, kissing her forehead “Yeah we can go back, come on”.
As they began to walk back along the cliffs, the salty breeze tousled their hair and the distant sound of waves crashing against the rocks filled the air. Jiyan leaned into Cillian’s side, feeling warmth radiate from him despite the chill of the weather. They exchanged smiles, sealing their pact in that beautiful moment, the ocean and the cliffs standing as their witnesses.

the small thought: mortefi loves candy, i think that's adorable. the fact he makes his own candy?? adorable. it's popular with children, i love that he's got such a soft spot for kids. makes me sick how are you like this.
the long thought:
given what little we know about mortefi, or what he'll let us know, i definitely think his lighter was given to him by someone like jiyan or xiangli yao.
in his own lines and in the little informational blurb we're given about the lighter, i feel that it may have been xiangli yao or jiyan - in either scenario, it would make sense
jiyan saved mortefi and assisted him, eventually referring him to the academy. if it was jiyan who gave him the lighter, it would make sense - jiyan provided a tool for mortefi to help quell his anger.
though, based on mortefi's reluctance to say who gave him the lighter, i feel it may be xiangli yao.
mortefi has such a funny one sided beef with xiangli yao imo like this man lost a science fair x amount of years ago and still hasn't recovered.
but he clearly values xiangli yao and his opinions and insight (his interest and implied awe of xiangli yao's inventions in his intimacy level IV, calling xiangli yao in the early main story to get his thoughts on a puzzle),
so if xiangli yao were to notice mortefi's rising annoyance, i have no doubt that xiangli yao would not only provide mortefi a simple item, but a practical item at that, to help him refocus himself to quell his emotions. after all, mortefi seems to admire that xiangli yao's inventions were practical and cheap as much as they were innovative.
either way, i think it's fantastic that mortefi likes the clicking of his lighter. something about that fact just tickles my brain just right.
another small thought: the cracked necklace in mortefi's cherished items .. the third item itself .. it reminds me of a fire opal. specifically, dragon's breath opal.
it's not really a gem or rare stone, more akin to costume jewelry, but i suspect that the cracked appearance and hint of the dragon's fury must have something to do with the incident of norfall barrens. and considering mortefi is from a noble background, i have a feeling that the jewelry may have more to do with his connections to his family (or former connections) and how their treatment of him has left their own scars on him.
but that's just some thoughts i've had. i like thinking of mortefi and i do hope we'll get a character quest with him some time.

➛ Addressing the 🪷 Anon in regards to their ask.
(Have to put the break here, since my OOC response is a lot too…)
(For anyone who is reading this, trigger warning for graphic descriptions of unsettling imagery, wounds, blood, and war typical violence.)
(Also there is mentions of refugees and mistreatment of said refugees, so please proceed with caution)
(He is most definitely something of an old man, sort of like a more cynical and negative version of Welt Yang from HSR. Also, he just looks exhausted, the lines and bags under his eyes, I just know his shoulders would be so tense he’s probably incapable of relaxing them.)
(I’m glad you’re feeling better, I ended up having a lot of work so I got a little swamped, but overall feeling well and fine— this silly little rp blog is always fun to write for, I really like reading all the asks, and just getting to interact with everyone. My astrite situation is looking a little bleak because I can’t decide if I want Jinhsi or Changli, but I’ll likely drop all other plans if we get Geshu leaks…)
(Naomi certainly has than energy around her, a little clumsy like a puppy, but means well and trying her best. Geshu Lin basically is just like “oh great” While he’s inwardly sort of panicking about the situation, because obviously he doesn’t want anyone to be in unnecessary danger, and the knowledge that there are like people slowing becoming TD’s, even inside Jinzhou where he can’t really help or fight would stress him out, let alone having one on bass with his troops, because again, he’s pessimistic as all hell, I’m pretty sure if he had the chance and under different circumstances he’d be like “we’re all gonna die why not speed up the process anyway”)
(At this point, Geshu Lin would probably blame himself if Naomi just got merked. He’d start thinking all of that negative cycle blame stuff, like “well if I hadn’t done that” or “if I had just done this” etc etc, because he knows the Magistrate expects something of him with this situation, and obviously he doesn’t want people dying pointless deaths, he just often has a bad way of going about it)
(Honestly in terms of relationship dynamics, I can’t say he would be more of a father rather than a brother, because some brother figures are very similar to a father figure. He would likely lean more towards being a fatherly figure or a distant brother figure, the kind of brother/father to be distant or harsh, but never cruel or anything like that, more just like having an aversion to overly affectionate gestures, but still caring a lot.)
(I have a soft spot for medic Jiyan, but that might also just be Geshu Lin talking. Plot wise, Jiyan is always a good choice for a sort of “bridge” character, since he and Geshu already have some sort of respect for each other, and they only clash over ideologies sometimes.)
(Geshu is definitely shaking his fist at the sky about the magistrate at the moment, he probably knows that Ren is laughing about the situation, but also Geshu won’t make an issue of it because he understands the magistrate has a full enough plate already, and he won’t be a nuisance just for nuisance sake.)
(Geshu Lin is essentially a walking contradiction, what we know of his character basically points to the whole “why don’t you follow your own advice huh?” Because he ended up sacrificing himself for the greater good due to his sense of responsibility and duty, but I doubt he’d ever admit that or brag about it or something like that. He is quite literally the kind of guy to go “we do whatever is necessary” and then feel guilty about it.)
(On a side note, I had a quick question about the rp in regard to my responses. Would you like me to elaborate on scenes you write involving Geshu Lin, or just pick up right where you leave off? For example, when you wrote about him reading through the documents and noticing his cabinets having been broken into, would you have wanted me to build on that in my response or would you have preferred if I just skipped right to writing my response where you ended yours? (In this example it would be when the recruit falls to the floor.))
(However, for this response I chose to elaborate a little bit, just in case that’s what you’d prefer, but not too much in case you’d rather get right to the action, I hope you don’t mind me questioning about this…)
~
After reading through the files on his terminal, Geshu Lin had turned to physical material for some background research, sifting through his shelves and cabinets with meticulous attention, his golden eyes roving over bits and pieces of information.
However, it eventually became apparent that something wasn’t quite right. His lips pulled down in a frown as he double and then triple checked certain stacks of papers, he had figured that he was being sloppy and skipping over critical documents, but that wasn’t the case.
Geshu Lin narrowed his eyes, placing the papers he was holding on his desk as he pulled open the door to one of his cabinets fully, scrutinizing the lock. It was dented, subtly, but not subtly enough to go unnoticed.
He let out a muttered curse under his breath, rubbing his thumb over the lock before kneeling to check the lower cabinets, finding similar results on any of them that should have held documentation on the disaster from ten years back. His terminal was of no use either, he had no access to anything of use.
Geshu Lin turned back to his cabinets, eyeing them with growing suspicion. His brow twitched with irritation the more he thought about it. No Tacet Discords would be capable of breaching the camp unnoticed, let alone breaking into his office and leaving with no obvious evidence left behind. Fractsidus members were typically clumsy and stuck out, they’d have to be quite skilled to go undetected. But what did that leave? Surely none of his troops were traitors, he wouldn’t allow such a thing.
Naomi was out of the question, she was hardly standing on her own two feet as it was, Geshu Lin wasn’t paranoid enough to be distrustful of someone who had been right in front of him.
He exhaled tiredly to calm himself, going back to his search, which eventually yielded some results. The documents themselves weren’t anything miraculous, and he considered the possibility that it was some sort of purposeful attempt to get him to play along, but information was information, and he wasn’t going to forsake it out of spite.
The first of the three, gave him little in terms of useful data. It was an article that covered the aftermath of the Lament that destroyed Naomi’s home. Much of it detailed public backlash, and the people of Jinzhou’s reaction to the refugees, as well as some insight on the situation from the Sakurian people, how they were unaware of TD’s existence.
Geshu Lin gave a quiet huff in acknowledgement of the Magistrate and his choice on dealing with the refugees. Typical Ren.
Though as his eyes drift further down the paper, he furrows his brows. The newspaper has been brutally scratched out and nearly rendered to tatters from a pen. He gently rubbed the paper between his forefinger and thumb, turning it over to examine the back, nothing but the signs of the pen having been used on the front. His expression soured at the sight— yet his eyes flickered up to his light as it blinked out for a moment before coming back on.
Moving on, Geshu Lin put the paper down and looked at the next one, a medical document, likely more useful than the previous paper… He began to read, idly tapping his finger against the desk as he went. The information presented to him helped with understanding Naomi’s condition, somewhat. It was referred to as a virus, but it happened to not be contagious by normal means.
Reading further, he noted that it mentioned Naomi, however not by name. Truly unfortunate that she was afflicted by this virus, no one deserved that. The term used to describe it made him scowl slightly, as dormant implied that the virus could reawaken— especially if the individual is consumed completely.
Regrettably, the document suffered a similar fate as the previous one, the bottom having been torn away. Geshu Lin put it down with a small disapproving glare before picking up the last of the files he could find. The light flickered again, and he glared at it in annoyance.
He held the document under the light, slanting it slightly to read the rushed hand writing as he put his hand on his chin. The second sentence left him rather befuddled, knitting his brows together with concern as he scanned the paper. Whoever wrote it was clearly against the Sakurian people, whether out of personal prejudice or if they had been wronged, it didn’t matter.
It seems they were a researcher, perhaps specializing in frequencies. Geshu Lin leaned his hip against his desk as he continued to read, his mind already turning the idea of different Forte types and new Tacet Discords around, trying to make sense of it.
…but the paper ends just as the other two had, except it was splattered with blood, dried and turned brown with time. It was an egregious amount, practically soaked through. He clenched his jaw as he stared at the remains of the document, messily ripped at the bottom, with a photograph attached. He examined it closely, gazing at the figure in the image, it was nothing pleasant, its singular eye blurred with movement while teeth snapped at what he assumed to be the camera at the time. It was too distorted to be of any real help, but it at least gave him some perspective on the paper’s current appearance…
Turning the photo over, Geshu ran the pad of his finger over the writing in blood, some of it flaking off. He wrinkled his nose in distaste at the texture, before reading the message. It was unsettling to say the least, but not helpful.
He placed the photo down as he tried to process all of the information, mentally sorting through it and trying to reach a conclusion when his light flickered more prominently once again. He raised his eyes and looked around his office in the flickering light, on high alert as he felt unnatural frequencies make the hair on the back of his neck rise uncomfortably.
The light goes out, he’s already grabbed his sword, igniting his flames as he glances to all sides of him with quick eyes. Though he cannot see anything, he can hear a voice— it isn’t clear or natural, it is instead distorted and broken, the whisper of “Devour” makes his skin crawl, but before he can demand a fight, his door bursts open and the lights come back on.
Geshu Lin is ready to lunge but instead what greets him is a wounded recruit. The general quickly cuts his forte to a stop and returns his sword to his back, trying to gather his bearings as the soldier begins spouting information as quickly as he can while his blood seeps to the floor.
He hardly processes the rapid fire words, registering the fact that there was an attack, and he needed to get out there quickly, but the recruit collapses and reaches out while Geshu watches, not moving in time to stop the bleeding despite immediately crouching beside him, holding him half slumped against the wall as he furrows his brows deeply and checks the soldier’s pulse. It had stopped.
Geshu Lin’s face darkens as he gets up, not having the time to properly deal with the corpse; it wasn’t his priority at the moment. He threw it over his shoulder instead, bringing it out of his office door so he could shut it. (He didn’t need any more documents going missing mysteriously). He carries the body and leaves it against the wall, making sure the soldier’s identification was intact before leaving the area with brisk steps, crossing the camp as he gives orders. “All soldiers get to your posts, possible TD outbreak imminent— and hold your ground!” He shouted, passing a few of the wounded recruits being brought to the infirmary, their condition was terrible. He clenched his jaw at the sight.
The general needed to get more information, the recruit had died before he could give him any more details— on the Tacet Discord’s, or the location of the ambush. But he couldn’t risk an attack on base when everyone was unprepared, so he gave his orders before swiftly heading to the infirmary to try and get more information on the enemy… and he could only get that from soldiers who had been there, he didn’t care at the moment that they likely needed time to rest, wasting time would only put them at a disadvantage, the sooner he could understand the enemy, the sooner he could eliminate them.
Geshu Lin made his way to the infirmary, ignoring the blood on the ground and the blood on himself from briefly moving the dead soldier as he went into the room, it reeked of rubbing alcohol and blood, and the sounds of pain reverberated on the walls from the wounded. He scanned the area, looking for a recruit he could speak with that wasn’t in critical condition. Before he spotted one however, his golden eyes caught a head of long teal hair, and further in the corner was a certain trouble maker.
(Well, there’s that… I was heavily debating between making him try and actively go hunt down the TD’s, but that seemed to be a bit of a long shot since the recruit didn’t actually give him any coordinates, or any real details, so I ended up making him go angrily hunt for those details himself… I hope I wrote enough, I was also debating making it longer, but I didn’t want to write a response that wouldn’t have given you any room to actually reply, since that would defeat the purpose of a roleplay when there isn’t any interaction..)

Udaipur Tour (A City Of Lakes)
Udaipur Tour (A City Of Lakes)
It does not matter how many countries you explore.
There is always a special place in the heart for our own. And when it comes to the place which holds our cultural heritage, it automatically occupies that soft corner of your soul. And our  Udaipur Tour is definitely one of those.
Udaipur , the capital of the Mewar Kingdom is one of the most sought-after destinations for tourists all around the world. A city filled with eternal beauty and magic all over becomes a blessing in disguise for you even to be its minutest part.
So, this weekend, I planned a short Udaipur Tour with my family to the ‘city of lakes’.
A small introduction with the kingdom of Mewar in the former Rajputana Agency:
This beautiful city was founded in 1558 by Udai Singh II and after Akba besieged Chittorgarh. Udaipur is situated in the southernmost part of Rajasthan, nearby the Gujarat border.
Our Journey:
To reach from Delhi to Udaipur, you can opt for NH 48 and NH58 . And Delhi to Udaipur distance is about 663 KM, which will take almost 12 hours. We started our Udaipur Tour at 1 PM so that we can reach around 12 or 1 at night. If you are with family, always plan some buffer time for resting and comforting.
So, apart from the planning, we reached at 2 in the night from Delhi to Udaipur, where we had already had our booking for an ac lake view facing room in Thamla haveli, the rooms have the perfect look of Lake Pichola.
Places to Visit in Udaipur :
Jaisamand Lake: This hidden gem tucked away in the folds of the mountain and located almost 48 km away from the main city. The Lake is the second-largest artificial Lake in India and was built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1685. This Lake was built for a purpose, Maharaja Jai Singh has created it to help his people battle a severe drought. The entire place is surrounded by ancient palaces, beautiful temples, and Ghats, which makes it one of the most lovely and most visiting place. If you are planning for a Udaipur Tour for your honeymoon or with a spouse, keep this place in your list. Look at sunset by this Lake and even hire a cruise to make your holiday memorable.Distance from the main city: Approx 1 KMVisiting hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PMEntry free: It is free.
Mewar Light and Sound Show at City Palace: This is the main focal point of Udaipur’s identity, and your tour is incomplete if you have not visited the City Palace.
