Discovering Vibrant Insights in Music and Literature
Music and literature are two timeless forms of art that captivate the imagination, evoke emotions, and provide an escape from the mundanity of daily life. These mediums, though distinct, often intertwine to inspire and influence each other. From relaxing by the ocean with a captivating novel to understanding the global music phenomenon, each experience enriches our lives in unique ways. Let's dive into some fascinating topics that connect these worlds and explore how they resonate in today’s culture.
1. Perfect Companions for Relaxation: Beach Reads
When it comes to a leisurely escape, there’s nothing quite like beach reads. These novels, often light-hearted and easy to digest, are perfect companions for a sunny day by the water. However, they are not limited to the sand; you can enjoy them on a cozy afternoon at home, allowing your mind to drift away into a story. From romantic tales to gripping mysteries, beach reads cater to diverse tastes.
Authors like Elin Hilderbrand and Nicholas Sparks are masters of crafting novels that transport readers into picturesque settings, often complemented by deep emotional connections and vivid storytelling. Beach reads are more than just casual entertainment—they provide a mental getaway, offering respite from daily stress.
2. The Art Behind Album Covers: Album Cover Page Design
In the music industry, an album’s visual presentation is just as critical as the music it holds. The album cover page design serves as the first interaction listeners have with the music. Whether it’s an abstract painting, a photograph, or digital art, the design speaks volumes about the album’s theme and the artist’s personality.
Consider iconic covers like The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band or Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon. These artworks have transcended time, becoming cultural symbols in their own right. In today’s digital age, designers blend modern technology with traditional techniques to create designs that not only attract attention but also tell a story about the music.
Moreover, independent artists now have more tools at their disposal, such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop, to craft unique covers without large budgets. For emerging musicians, investing in a standout design can significantly impact their visibility in the crowded music market.
3. Iconic Performers: The Most Popular Singer in the World
Who holds the title of the most popular singer in the world is a topic that sparks endless debates among fans. Popularity is often determined by a combination of factors, including chart performance, streaming numbers, social media influence, and fan engagement.
In recent years, artists like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and BTS have dominated global charts, each bringing something unique to the music scene. Taylor Swift’s storytelling and genre versatility, Beyoncé’s empowerment anthems and performances, and BTS’s global appeal and innovative content creation have set benchmarks in their respective domains.
It’s fascinating how a singer’s influence extends beyond music. Their personal style, philanthropy, and political stances can turn them into cultural icons, inspiring millions of people worldwide. These artists remind us that music is not merely entertainment—it’s a way of life that transcends borders and unites people.
4. Global Phenomena: What is BLACKPINK?
K-pop has taken the world by storm, and one of its brightest stars is BLACKPINK. But for those new to the genre, the question often arises: what is BLACKPINK? This South Korean girl group, formed by YG Entertainment, has revolutionized the pop industry with their infectious music, stunning visuals, and charismatic performances.
BLACKPINK comprises four members—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—each contributing distinct talents to the group’s success. Their hits like “Kill This Love,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” and “How You Like That” have amassed billions of views on YouTube, making them a household name.
What sets BLACKPINK apart is their ability to blend various genres, from hip-hop to EDM, creating a global sound that appeals to diverse audiences. Their collaborations with international artists like Selena Gomez and Lady Gaga have further cemented their status as global icons.
5. Accessing Music Services: Spotify Toll-Free Number
As music streaming continues to dominate how we consume music, services like Spotify have become indispensable. Whether you’re curating your playlist for a workout session or exploring new releases, Spotify offers unparalleled convenience. For users facing technical issues or account-related queries, the Spotify toll-free number is a lifeline.
Customer service plays a pivotal role in ensuring user satisfaction. With millions of subscribers worldwide, Spotify recognizes the importance of responsive support. The toll-free number provides assistance with everything from payment problems to playlist synchronization, ensuring a seamless listening experience.
Streaming platforms are constantly evolving, and Spotify’s commitment to innovation—like AI-curated playlists and enhanced audio quality—continues to set it apart in a competitive market.
Conclusion
Music and literature, while distinct in their forms, share the common goal of storytelling and emotional resonance. Whether it’s relaxing with beach reads, exploring the visual artistry of album covers, or diving into the phenomenon of global music sensations like BLACKPINK, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The evolution of music services like Spotify has further bridged the gap between creators and audiences, making it easier than ever to explore, connect, and be inspired. As we immerse ourselves in these creative realms, it’s evident that the arts are not just an escape but a celebration of life itself.

male reader x kim jisoo
6k words

It’s all a mess honestly. You need her. She needs you. Just none of it in the same way.
-
It’s late as you arrive through the front door of your apartment. Just into the kind of hours that saw the lion’s share of your reckless decisions. So, it’s not unreasonable that you’d find her here now—sunk into the cushions of your sofa, finger against her temple, eyes halfway attending some novel she pulled off your bookcase—she more than knows what she’s doing.
Keys, wallet, phone all clamor and rattle as you set them down on the narrow table inside your foyer.
"I must’ve missed when we decided you could just let yourself in."
"Well if we’re splitting hairs," Jisoo says, waiting for the sound of a page to flip between her fingers, "You’re the one who gave me a spare key."
"If we’re splitting hairs Jisoo—it was for emergencies."
"And?"
"And." You shove your hands into your pockets.
She closes the book gently, no effort spent to bookmark or dog-ear a corner, and rests it on her thigh. "What if you’d gone missing? Drank yourself to death or got pushed in front of a bus. That’d be an emergency now wouldn’t it."
"So, just a hypothetical one then. Got it."
A humorless laugh and she smiles, the unmistakable glow in her eyes reeling you into her. "Don’t act too happy to see me."
You unsling your bag from your shoulder. "I don’t suppose you could’ve called?"
"Funny." Jisoo tilts her chin up at you. "I was about to say the same thing."
The step you take up into the living room as Jisoo rises from her seat is an apprehensive one. The lights are dimmed just barely bright enough to read by. And try as you may, Jisoo’s silhouette is the only thing your tired eyes can find a place to rest in. Maybe it’s how the moonlight catches her pale skin or the way she gets gently washed in those soft blues and greens of the city’s nighttime neon that pour diffuse through your windows. It’s almost necessary to remind yourself that it’s your apartment the two of you are standing in. Always there’s this precise, polished look about her—she owns every room she steps into.
Jisoo tucks a stubborn strand of midnight hair behind her ear before tapping a finger on the book she’d placed down on the coffee table. "It’s a good read by the way."
You glance at its cover and a derisive laugh blows out your nose. "So what was all that then—about not reading anything that isn’t at least a hundred years old—time tested you called it."
Jisoo hides a quiet smile as she lets her eyes wander a moment to her feet. "It’s close enough to a hundred isn’t it? Besides, it’s Gatsby, I can make an exception."
"Speaks to you, huh?"
"There’s just something so magical about the way he chases Daisy, ya know? That’s the kind of love I want. Waking up every morning knowing someone out there needs you."
"I’m willing to bet most readers end up sympathizing with Jay—all with the anguish of pursuing a woman who’s completely unobtainable?" You toss your work bag over the back of the sofa. "Just the kind of thing I’d hope mostly to avoid."
When Jisoo squares her shoulders to yours, you find yourself swallowing at an impossible thirst in your throat. Brains, beauty, wit. It’s probably the hundredth time she’s run through your thoughts today, and you can’t still figure out anything you don’t like about her, at least not on paper. So, you continue on, unfortunately thinking so very often about her—the way she smiles when you hold her, the way her eyes soften when her face is inches from yours, the way she runs her fingers through your hair—perfect. That’s how you’d describe her; if perfect could ever hope to be a pejorative.
"I think you worry too much." Her svelte figure finds itself easily in the space in front of yours and she wraps her fingers around the bottom of your necktie. She’s not even touching you and it’s making it hard to breathe. "Wouldn’t you say?"
Were you to flip through a calendar and search for the day you’d first undressed her in your apartment, you’d have to start by grabbing one more and then rifle back about eighteen months or so to put your finger on it. Only now should you have instead cut from those pages the time you’d actually spent together—most of it between the sheets mind you—you doubt it would manage to stitch together more than a few weeks. That was the nature of your relationship.
It’s not like we’re dating ya know.
Jisoo was always rather firm on this point.
And god, had you grown weary of hearing it. Usually a non-sequitur in its arrival, it would bounce and rattle around your thoughts for days, the warm voice behind it painfully clear and articulate. All because you’d made the mistake of bringing it up one time.
It really ought to be the kind of thing that closed more doors than it opened, answered more questions than it raised. The sentence probably deserved a period. Granted, there wasn’t yet an empty wine bottle in the sink nor were your clothes scattered about in different states of undress around the room, but you recognize the feeling—hanging on the end of a comma.
"I told you. I’m not going to do this anymore." You begin to twist your arms out from the sleeves of your coat. "I felt like I was pretty clear about it."
You were.
"What—in the hotel?" Jisoo sneaks behind you and helps coax the jacket off your shoulders, laughing to herself. "That conversation? The one you and I had just fifteen minutes before you pinned me against the wall, pulled my skirt up and—"
"Jisoo."
"Yeah. How presumptuous of me to assume you’d changed your mind," she adds, stressing a rasp in that ever-so-husked voice of hers. She ignores your protest, mostly because you let her; you always let her; she knows you always let her.
Quickly, her body against yours becomes a question, the racing of your heart its familiar answer.
"Jisoo," you repeat, finding it difficult to search for an authoritative voice all at the hand reaching under your chin, the heat of a short breath against your jaw, those parted lips dragging against your cheek. Dig your heels in. "I’m serious."
"Come to think of it—isn’t it a little late?" she asks, kissing you again just beyond the corner of your mouth. Her voice is cool, gentle breaths warm on your skin. "To just now be coming in the door? To be honest, I was starting to think you weren’t going to show at all."
"Well don’t act surprised." You gently pull her hand by the wrist away from your chest. "This is where I sleep."
Jisoo fixes on you, those sweeping eyelashes keeping a pair of narrowed eyes entirely unreadable. "But that’s not always true now is it? In fact, tonight you were counting on sleeping somewhere else, no?"
"How do you figure all that?"
"Because your clothes smell like tobacco and cheap beer." She raises an eyebrow and begins teasing the fabric of your shirt up from out of your pants. "Do you at least have a good excuse? Something creative maybe?"
"You really want a creative one?"
Her eyes become soft for a moment before narrowing again and her lips part into an all-too-alluring shape. "No, not particularly."
"Fine then. Work," you answer. "The team wanted to do a happy hour. Or maybe a few."
"At an izakaya?" Her face tilts until it finds a look of skepticism that matches the inquisitive tone in her voice.
"Something like that."
"Are you drunk?"
"Well I can’t say I’m sober."
"And Rosie," she says, blinking slowly, "you two met there or some place later?"
Chin up, you twist a confused eyebrow over the top of a dry laugh. "Now what might give you that impression?"
A smirk pulls up on the corner of Jisoo’s lip, and in one quick motion she pinches between her fingers at a long strand of golden blonde hair from just beneath your collar. "You’re still wearing her on your shirt, handsome."
A deep breath marks your response as you bite softly into the inside of your cheek.
"Thought so. Now, I’m not so brash as to ask for details, but considering you’re here, and she isn’t… I can’t imagine she invited you up for coffee after you kissed her outside her—"
"Has anyone ever told you you’re a little tightly wound?"
Jisoo takes a moment, slightly disarmed. "Once or twice."
"I’ve gotta ask—is this something you do just to get into bed with me?"
"Not at all." She smiles. Always it manages to distract from the way she inches ever closer to you. "Getting into bed with you is a completely separate affair."
Of course there’s some sort of game here. And one day you’ll learn how to win at it, or at least the rules, or even just how it’s scored (in spite of the fact Jisoo seems keen on changing all of it constantly). Too quickly however, before whatever prudent thoughts might rebuke them, it’s your hands that give you away. The thin fabric of her blouse beneath your fingers, you map the familiar shapes and curves where Jisoo’s waist meets her hips.
You shake your head across a series of breathy laughs. "And just what does that look like Jisoo?"
She leans into you, her palms sliding slowly up your chest. "From the top? Because right now, I’d guess we’re just getting into the real thick of it."
She stands close to you, her body now breaking all sorts of boundaries. The flavor of her perfume hits your nose and she’s resting a thigh against yours. Those parted lips hover just in front of your face—pink, narrow and wildly irresistible. Reach forward and you can simply take them.
You swallow again and your eyes shift away from hers before they might grab hold of you like quicksand. "You think I don’t know how it starts?"
"Oh?" She starts again at the skin on your neck, each kiss lingering longer and melting into your skin until finally she holds herself just over your lips. The breaths of her sultry voice crash onto your face, "Go on then, let’s hear it."
You straighten yourself out, earning you the fleeting remains of your personal space. "I mean it’s all more or less the same right? You sit down, we chat, nonsense mostly. I ask you how your trip was, you tell me about Paris, Milan, New York City or another."—always she was coming and going and coming and going—"I offer you something to drink, you ask if I have any wine, I bring out that bubbly stuff I keep buying even though you’re the only one who cares to drink it—"
"Ha. You know I had my suspicions." The soft, round tip of Jisoo’s nose drags across your cheek as she reaches up in her heels and finds her lips onto the bottom of your ear. In seconds, her voice fills your head completely. "And then what?"
Of course, your precocious hands can’t stop reaching further behind Jisoo—into the narrow ridge that runs up the center of her back, to the curve of her ass, the bottoms of her shorts inviting you to venture beneath them. You clear your throat before giving her the response she wants, "The cork comes off, clothes not too long after and tongues are in mouths I suppose."
Jisoo hangs off your shoulders with a hand slowly twisting up the length of your tie. A sculpted eyebrow dips and her expression nearly pouts. "Just mouths?"
"Well—"
"Maybe you ought to remind me—all those things your tongue can do."
It’s the same every time. Eighteen months of limbo, of seeing, not seeing, seeing, not seeing this girl who moved far faster than you could ever hope to keep up with. You’d promised yourself to have an ounce of resolve—something, anything, that even looked like resolve would do. Now of course, Jisoo was never going to outright put her lips to yours and kiss you. No, that’s something she leaves for you. Because she knows. When you’re in her hands like this? Inevitable.
If it had started slow, you missed it entirely.
The swell of her lower lip twitches, and you crash hard into her. The way her lips curve and arch—unbelievable, the pretty things—they remind you just how right it feels to take them in your own. The long lashes across her eyes tickle and tease you until you’re both staring into the stars behind your eyelids and struggling to breath steady. It’s entirely reckless, and absolutely dangerous, but somewhere in this tumultuous endeavor, you can only ever know the calming touch of her cool, wet lips against yours calling you home.
She’s small, her narrowed shoulders between your arms easy to hold yourself around. The staggered breaths moving haphazard through her chest push against you as she melts into your embrace.
You hold her tight, just underneath where her shoulder blades rise from the middle of her back, pressing further and pulling her into you until she gasps into your kiss. Before you realize it, you’ve got her bent back at the knees, holding on tightly to you with those dainty arms wrapped around your neck as you chase deeper into her lips.
When you’d heard she was in town, again, from a fashion show or a film festival (honestly it’s become impossible to remember), this was the exact scene you’d intended to avoid. Of all the girls you’ve never dated, Jisoo was intent on somehow being the most impossible to break up with.
"Mmnph…" Jisoo swallows down a choked breath and takes a beat to gather herself as a small distance comes to exist between your lips. You open your eyes and she’s staring right back into yours, these deep shimmering pools of dusty browns and grays. Her cheeks glow a faint pink. She bats her eyelashes. The corners of her eyes crease and she’s got this smile, it's always that smile, the rare kind you doubt you’ve stumbled upon more than a handful of times in your life. Effortless and delicate, it wraps you up into her. Even though its radiant and beaming for all to see, you swear when she’s here—like this—it only focuses on you with this ever-tempting prejudice in your favor.
She wets her lips and lets a sultry voice interrupt the moment, "Well, what are you going to do now?"
It’s been a long day. Your heart is tender, tired, sore. Fuck, It’s been a long eighteen months. Tugging at the shirt bunching in your fingertips, you answer her, simply taking her lips again.
She gasps when you push her into the wall and again when you place your knee between her thighs. There’s five buttons down the front of her blouse, two more at the waist of her shorts. Your hand feels slowly down the shape of her slim figure, and they all come undone while Jisoo’s tongue begins to slip gently between your lips.
She shifts her weight between her legs. And as if you’d cut some invisible thread holding the entire delicate assemblage together, those garments make their way to the floor. It’s instinctual the way your hands wrap around Jisoo, finding the perfect shape of her ass. Your fingers squeeze into soft skin and a hushed, accidental moan spills from her throat into yours.
A barely-there trail of spit between your mouths grows until it vanishes into the dark as you pull your face away from Jisoo—her eyes open slowly and rest weary in yours. She’s so beautiful it often takes the words right off your lips. You’d grown to know it impossible to ask promises or demands of her, but the way she holds you right now, her hands on your chest and back, her eyes soft and welcoming, it always manages to keep the embers of a fire—that cruel thing of hope—stoked and burning gently inside you.
She grabs gently at your wrist, guiding you sternly to where she really needs you—between her legs. Your fingertips brush the skin beneath her waist, atop her underwear and she places her words in your ear, "now come, feel me."
The loose fitting lace of her panties bunches in your palm the further you venture to reach into that smoldering warmth between her thighs. She grasps tight at your shoulders, lifts her chin and shudders as your finger drags across the pair of lips hidden beneath it all.
Again her voice rests atop a whisper, some silent curse or another.
Bathed in the soft light of the moon, Jisoo has this almost ethereal beauty about her. When she moves—and nearly imperceptible when she does—the dance of light and shadows scatters into these mesmerizing shapes across the pale skin of her body. The cast of those shadows, dark and unrelenting like India ink, tease her image through your head where your thoughts scramble to capture it however incomplete and grainy.
Sneaking under the loose elastic around her waist, knuckles tenting the hopeless fabric, you finally feel her. A wetness pools at her entrance. And just beyond it, the unmistakable heat that radiates from inside her. With a delicate touch, the rough pads of your fingers dip and play. Jisoo bites her lip at that chord you strike against her aching mound and a sharply sucked chestful of air tugs at the muscles in her stomach, scattering again those shadows the night had lain across it.
She swallows and closes her eyes. Lilting into that deepened register of her voice, Jisoo continues to reel you into her. "There you go. I love the way you touch me."
The strap of a black lace bra rolls between her fingertips and slides off her shoulder. She leans forward, pinching a kiss onto your neck as the garment begins to reveal more and more of that porcelain skin beneath her collarbones. The swelling roundness of her breast fills your hand and a stiff nipple finds its way amidst the grip of your thumb and finger.
Jisoo’s kisses again land in your ear. "C’mon. Don’t play."
It’s all a mess honestly. You need her. She needs you. Just none of it in the same way. So repeatedly, drawn inextricably and spiraling toward some spectacular cosmic catastrophe, the two of you find one another.
Seldom do you have even a moment to consider it—especially given all the ways Jisoo needs you. Sometimes she demands just the first two knuckles of a finger, sometimes your lips, the broad stroke of your tongue, occasionally it becomes the paradoxical freedom she finds in your hand around her throat. Even knowing few bounds, it’s impressive how simply she takes it all off you. Her fingers set tight into muscle behind your shoulder, and she moves, hips beginning to shuffle and rock against the forever reliable shape of your hand.
Her lips part and a moan punched through them sticks a humid breath against your face. "Ohhh my god—yes."
She knows it’s selfish, but she doesn’t care. Those words off her lips hit your ears and your heart drums at a dull beat from deep within your chest.
A yelp, and a sudden draw of cold air past her teeth, you find Jisoo quickly filling with want and need in your hands. Her nipple between your fingers becomes a second target of torment and her muscles jump as you find the aching bud atop her lips with a heavy touch of your thumb.
"This bad, huh?" you ask, feeling Jisoo’s body twist and unsettle in your grip. "Rough week?"
Jisoo’s lips break their kiss onto your neck, sighing. "No worse than usual."
"Yeah?" Your fingers dip again into that wet pool collecting into a sticky mess at her entrance. "Jisoo, you’re fucking soaked."
"Then maybe you ought to get down there and take care of it."
Just past where her aching folds surround her clit, you slip a finger into that tight warmth. Jisoo stifles a moan and you lift your chin, looking down your nose at the sight in front of you. "And how might I be able to do that?"
Struggling against your fingers, she answers, "If you’re—asking me to say it—you’re barking up the wrong—"
"Jisoo." Your shoulders drop and your head tilts into that angle—the one that pleads for a reasonable response—not that it ever has the efficacy it needs, no matter how meticulously practiced the look now is. "For christ’s sake, enough with that. You and I both know that you aren’t—"
"Your little slut?"
"Well—I was going to say a princess—but good on you to prove my point."
"You know it’s always my favorite part right?" Jisoo’s eyes narrow and a dangerous smile fills across her cheeks. "Watching you—pretend and toil like you don’t want to fuck me."
You can’t help but laugh, something about the way it cools your nerves. "Oh trust me—I know I shouldn’t—but I stopped pretending a long time ago."
"Well then, I suppose—if we’re not going to beat around the bush." Her voice in your ear becomes a command. "You can get on your knees. And give me your tongue."
Your hand out from between her legs, dragging a sheen of her wetness across her waist, you push her hip fast against the wall. A disgruntled whine leaves Jisoo’s lips, but the kiss you place on her neck is quick to pacify the complaint.
Slow, meticulous, every inch a purposeful destination, you dive. A trail from her neck to her collarbone, her soft skin meets your lips. The taste of it all—beyond her sweat, her scent—it quickly fills your thoughts, abstract but every bit as familiar. Your mouth latches around the tight bud atop her breast. The way your tongue and your teeth around it make her squirm sets a reminder in your head to visit the tender flesh again.
Now hovering beside her thighs, you chuckle at Jisoo’s hips beginning to search for you while you pull her underwear down the smooth curves of her legs. Your tongue clicks and you begin to chide her, "Jisoo—so needy—"
"Don’t start." She threads her fingers through your hair and pulls you into her. The breath you draw through your chest is moist, filled with the sweet smell of her excitement. Your nose brushes against her clit, your fingers tease the shallow depths of her entrance, and your tongue meets her lips, wanting.
She shudders. And her voice dips out of its usual composed timbre, meeting a contented sigh that shakes and moves her whole body. "Ohhhh."
The lips around her heat fold and twist under each slow, methodical, swirling pass of your tongue. Her hands pull you into her and your mouth forms kisses that suck and massage at her mound, finding again the familiarity of her reactions—a quick breath, a soft mewl, sometimes when you really find where she needs you, she curses.
When you look up, Jisoo’s eyes stare back at you with a heavy longing, her chin tucked and a hand holding the dark, wavy hair out of her face. The pleasure you brew between her legs has begun now to agitate these erratic waves of movement in the surface of her stomach, all as her muscles jump and her chest draws heavy gasps of air.
"That feels so good—"
You reach behind her, and a handful of Jisoo’s perfect ass helps guide her hips into your efforts while the other explores the wet mess you’ve created between her thighs. Her slick walls tighten around the length of your finger and Jisoo parts her lips, letting a muted whine spill loose from her chest as the shape of a second finger finds its way inside her.
Releasing your seal around her wet folds with a smack, you narrow your tongue, its firm tip quick to become a reliable partner for her aching clit—quick to become exactly the toy Jisoo needs.
Shuffling about, she turns her bra around on her chest and unclasps the stubborn thing before sending it careening to the floor. Completely naked for you now, the grind of her body against your mouth becomes more urgent, more selfish, seeking her own release on the shape of your tongue. Her lip caught between her teeth, she whispers, barely audible to you now in between her thighs, "right there—fuck your tongue."
Her knees begin to weaken and buckle. Locked in conflict, Jisoo’s building pleasure struggles against her desire to stand, holding her right where she needs to be, where your tongue can continue to deliver the swirling, tapping, teasing touches that race to bring her to the brink. When your fingers find the throbbing skin behind her clit, putting the poor swollen bud between a rock and a hard place, Jisoo begins to pant in fits and starts. The only thing clenching harder than her teeth are the muscles beginning to tense and lock around you.
You can feel your chin become slick, Jisoo’s wetness practically dripping onto your shirt, and those whispers become stuck in an endless loop, "keep going, keep going."
Ever since you’d known each other, and probably long before that, Jisoo’s very fabric had been stiffly woven into this spitting image of perfection—always concerned about the way people saw her, how people talked about her when she wasn’t listening, whether or not she might say something with even a hint of the wrong inflection. It has to be utterly exhausting. And you knew possibly better than her: where to find those loose threads that had been tucked and hidden away. A tap or a tease here, a pull and a twist there, and you see to it that Jisoo unravels.
"Oh god, oh god, oh god!—Fuuuuuck."
Sharp fingernails dig into the back of your head, pressing you tight against her wet, aching mound. Her legs lock, muscles tighten, and in a moment of brief triumph, you look at her—taking in the sight of Jisoo coming undone.
Holding onto a silent moan, her expression twists, all scrunching and wrapping around the knuckle she keeps tight between her teeth. Nearly folding herself in half, she holds most of her weight against you as she reels in pleasure. You study each quiver and shake that seizes her body as the walls come down around her.
It’s somewhat of a mangled heap you two finally connect into onto the hardwood floor of your apartment. You’re the first to rise considering that your recovery was just about complete when you’d wiped the excessively wet surface of your mouth and chin with the back of your sleeve.
"God." Her lungs still gasping for air, she catches your stare with a pair of half-lidded eyes. "You’re fucking dangerous."
You suppose that makes two of you.
Beads of sweat form where her dark, silky hair wisps into soft strands at her temples. Her legs continue to carry on a slight wobble, walking across the carpet in your living room. And through it all, her unwavering commitment to seducing your every thought remains entirely steadfast—each step offering you a clear picture of her elegant figure, completely nude for you eyes to enjoy.
She places the palms of her hands on the room’s single window, a tall simple piece of glass that stretches from the floor to the ceiling, and she creates this irresistible curve from where her neck meets her shoulders to where her waist flares into the perfect roundness of her hips.
Jisoo pulls her face over her shoulder, her eyes peeking over it and she tells you everything you need to hear, "Get those clothes off—and come fuck me."
She doesn’t have to ask twice.
Tie, shirt, shoes, belt, pants, underwear all make this hapless trail throughout the room as you follow in the sound of Jisoo’s voice. You’re like a moth fluttering its wings in anxious proximity to a flame, the way she just makes your body move without thinking.
"Tell me," she says.
You position yourself behind her, fingers gingerly pumping your own cock as if it could even get any harder.
"Tell me—just how far do you think you’d have gotten with Rosé?"
"What’s with that?" You lick your palm and dip it between Jisoo’s thighs, but you should’ve known without needing any confirmation—she’s as slick as can be. "What’s it to you?"
Jisoo laughs quietly, "I mean the girl’s a grade A prude—"
A gasp interrupts Jisoo as you press your cock against the lips of her pussy, presented neatly in between her creamy thighs in front of you. You watch as she grips onto you inch by inch and all but pulls you into her inviting heat.
"So?" you ask.
The girl in your hands finds herself looking again over her shoulder, her eyes begging you to fuck her. "So—I’m sure you're a hell of a lot happier now that you’re about to have me."
"If I remember correctly—" And you’re more than sure you do. You start pushing your cock past the hot, tight seal of her lower lips. You find her wet and ready and wanting you, but still she needs to adjust to something bigger than just the narrow width of your fingers. "Weren’t you more of the same?"
You press your thighs against hers and Jisoo moans, the airy sound becoming her only response. Her shoulders rise and fall as she settles into the shape of you. All the same it manages to yank a groan out of your chest, only it fills you with this yearning for more of the warmth and tightness that now surrounds you.
"Am I wrong here?" You ask, bending forward against the arch of Jisoo’s back. You mock the aloof sound of her voice, "Miss I-don’t-usually-do-this."
Your hands grip onto Jisoo’s waist as you drag yourself back and press forward into her again, and you watch her body move, a ripple traveling through her thighs to her hips.
"Tha-That doesn’t sound like me."
Teeth starting to clench and grind, you whisper under your breath at the ridiculousness of it all, "you’re right—it certainly doesn’t."
It’s a delicate motion made across the velvety skin of her sopping pussy, but you come to bury your shaft in that slick heat of her cunt again. The way Jisoo feels—so impossibly tight and hot around your cock—you swear as though she were designed specifically with you in mind. Like a fucking glove. Bent at the waist, the angle lets you bury yourself deep, and at the end of each thrust, you have to make an effort not to simply lose yourself right then and there.
Slowly, you work up to a tempo that makes it difficult to carry much of any meaningful conversation at all. And all too quickly the angle you find against her hips sends Jisoo into a satisfying fit of panting breaths. You watch each one as it draws through her chest and lands hot against the glass, quickly becoming fogged and littered with hand prints.
Each collision between your hips fills your apartment with its fleshy sound, her taut wet skin against yours making for a particularly satisfying clap.
"So - fucking - good," Jisoo manages through her gritted teeth.
You soak up the perfect hourglass shape in front of you, holding tight at its stem. The city lights on the other side of the window manage to paint Jisoo in this fantastic myriad of colors. Blues, greens, reds, all these unnatural tones against the pale skin of her face, her back, her ass—she looks as if someone had decided to paint her and let their imagination run wild.
You can’t help but wonder what it looks like from the other side. Your room is only a few floors above street level, and anyone looking up would undoubtedly see Jisoo struggling to maintain her ridiculous posture, the beautiful features of her face fast becoming wracked with pleasure—not that either you or her seemed to care.
"Fuck, Jisoo I swear—you are too tight!" you groan, but there’s never any real purpose to the complaint. The force of each thrust against Jisoo’s tight body sends her inching closer to the glass in front of her until her shoulders are pressed tight to it and your bodies nearly parallel.
Jisoo strains on the tips of her toes to meet your height, to where your cock delivered this impossible pleasure to the burning heat of her cunt. Her hands search on the window in front of her for something to grab onto, but quickly come up with nothing as the glass offers no such reprieve in its unyielding, bare surface. The best you can do to help is to hook your fingers around her elbows and pull her back, helping her stay upright
"Fuck me, you feel amazing Jisoo."
"You’re—Jesus—so hard right now ya know?" Jisoo labors to swallow again. "Don’t even think about cumming inside me just yet."
"Honest, I’ve been thinking about it since the moment I put my cock in you."
"Don’t you dare." She turns her to where you can see her face in profile, pulling you forward to kiss and breath heavy against her cheek. "Just shut up and fuck me."
There was hardly any room for misunderstanding in that.
The impact of your hips against hers continues to shake all kinds of curses and whines from her lips. She struggles to keep her head over her shoulder, eventually just resting one side of her face against the cold glass. But still she manages to hold you in her gaze, at least half of it, laboring fruitlessly to keep that usual cool expression from bending and yielding to the pleasure between her legs—incredible how quickly it all begins to fall apart at the seams.
"God! Right there!" she squeals, "it’s so fucking good—" All the words out of her mouth come in various states of composure, some of them airy, some rasped, others staccato and repeating—an utter mess pooling in your ears, but even still, they harmonize perfectly.
"Yes - god - fuck - that’s it." Struggling on her words, she sucks air sharply against her teeth and shuts her eyes tight. "Make me cum again—I’m so close!"
An intense heat smolders from deep inside Jisoo’s cunt, melting and aching around you. You recognize just how badly she needs to cum on your cock all because it’s the exact same chain reaction every time—muscles lock, lips part, eyebrows scrunch, and in a final desperate breath, she finds her lip between her teeth.
You lift yourself as much as Jisoo’s desperate grip on your shoulders will allow and search for her hips with your hands. She squirms as you hold her firm, pushing her tight, quivering body into the glass, and you take the opportunity that only the throes of orgasm might provide—to use her exactly how you need. If she’s going to cum twice, surely you’ve got the green light to have a crack at it once.
The muscles in your legs start to heat and stiffen as you push yourself into that tight warmth more urgent and frenzied than you could ever hope keep up with, but it doesn’t matter—It was never going to take a whole lot to fuck and pump yourself there.
"Jisoo," your voice strains, "I’m gonna—"
"Yeah—do it," she rasps, reaching her hands back and grabbing on tight to your thighs.
You drop your face into the silky hair behind her ear, selfishly taking in the addictive smell of her sweat and perfume. Your balls tense, you find a shallow breath to hold onto, and driving your cock into her again, you bury your cum deep into the tight depths of her throbbing heat.
"There you go. Let it out," Jisoo whispers against the window with a voice grown hoarse. "Cum in me like you always do—fucking fill me up."
You can count the seconds where you’re not sure if you’re alive or dead while you release yourself in Jisoo’s cunt—which by all means, is a warmth, a wetness, a tightness you could live in forever—but the ringing in your ears, the incorrigible knot in your stomach knocking on your throat, you feel yourself returning.
Your muscles burn, the curiously sour stench of sex fills your nose, and you collapse atop the mess you’d turned Jisoo into, the two of you gasping for breath and finding comfort in the cold touch of the window pane.
You share a moment of exhaustion between the two of you. Breaths heave midst your chests and sweat beads at your brow. As quick as it comes, the moment passes. Her hands relax from the makeshift handles she’d found on either cheek of your ass. And with two gentle pats to your rear, she more than makes herself understood.
Jisoo clears her throat. "Alright - get up - I need some water, and then I get to be on top."
—
When you wake up, there’s this mood in the room. Sofa cushions are on the floor, your clothes still trailing from the foyer entry to the window, the wrappers from a late night snack—but of course, as per usual, Jisoo’s nowhere to be seen.
You shuffle your feet from your bedroom door to the kitchen to find a note on the fridge.
"That’s new," you say under your breath, pulling the sticky note in front of your eyes and rubbing the sleep from out of them.
"Had to bounce. Borrowed that book by the way. I need to know what happens—does Jay get the girl of his dreams? Is there a happily ever after? Don’t spoil it for me. I’ll be back to return it soon enough.
Jisoo"
"That woman—I swear," you grumble, "it’s not a happy ending."

Best Solution [6]
Jennie Kim x Fem!reader
…………………………………………………………………………
You had days to think about it. It was the best solution. Well, maybe the best one you could come up with.
You would avoid going to The Willow to avoid suspicions from the Hunters. They're bound to check if they knew you went there.
It’s been almost a week since you’ve stopped going to the Willow. The last day you spent there you promised you would protect Mandu till Jennie found a man worthy. It seemed to be universal that you nor Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, or Roseanne thought the Hunters were.
You don’t know what you’d do if they followed you and captured Mandu. You're afraid, because they don’t seem to be trying to take only the key anymore, they want to hurt the cat. Well, they’re determined to get the key even if it means the cat gets hurt in the process, and you don’t blame them…it’s crazy that they’ve just resorted to this method when this has been going on for a year.
And knowing that this has been going on for a year already, you ask yourself how Jennie deals with this. You would go insane.
The Hunters began making their rounds in the day and night now. It’s like they don’t rest. They watch you like vultures, and you can’t help but think something was up. So you’ve been cautious.
You’ve been taking a different route home and eating your lunch in the shop. Every time you crossed the bridge you would think of the feline. You imagined her sitting under the tree getting some rest. You hope she found something else to snack on for the time being. It’s cold outside too, did she keep warm? Did she return home at all?
You blew out a breath and watched the cloud of mist fade. You were pulling the cart up the slope today. You happened to like doing it more in the fall because you wouldn’t sweat buckets like you did in the summer. It also makes you warmer in the chilly weather.
You parked the cart near the supply shed. Then you began loading it with herbs and medicines, and packaged ceramics. You learned that Jisoo and Lisa didn’t sell flowers in the fall or winter, obviously because it was too cold and dry. They switch to growing herbs in the inside garden and turn that into medicine.
After you loaded the cart you covered it (in case leaves fell inside) and left it there, ready for you to deliver when it was time.
You walked inside the shop, the bell ringing as you opened the door. Immediately sighing at the warmth, once again relieved Roseanne got the heater working. Jisoo walked up to you with two mugs.
“Hot tea or coffee?” You took the tea.
“Thanks, you're a lifesaver chicken.” You sat down next to Lisa, both of you laughing at the way Jisoo’s face contorted at the nickname.
You looked around, “where’s Roseanne?”
“She down at Jason’s bakery buying us lunch.” Lisa answered before continuing to sketch in her notebook.
“Ah, okay… What’s that supposed to be? A dog?” You asked, looking at the doodles filling the page. Lisa looked offended.
“No! It’s clearly a moose.” You snorted, unable to figure out how that could possibly be a moose.
“Let me see.” Jisoo leaned over the counter and took the sketchbook from Lisa, who pouted in her seat. Jisoo simply handed the notebook back before turning around, you could see her shoulders shake. Not long after she bursted out laughing, causing Lisa to splutter.
She clearly wasn’t an artist. “You guys are so mean..”
“I’m sorry, it just doesn’t look like a..” Lisa glared at Jisoo.
“I mean it’s not bad at all, Lili, it just needs some antlers, you know, that moose’s have.” Jisoo couldn’t hide the amusement from her voice but Lisa seemed to buy it. She elbowed you in the side before going back to drawing.
“So (Y/n), I noticed you don’t go to The Willow anymore?” Jisoo spoke.
“Yeah, what’s up with that? You’ve been staying in the shop to eat now.” Lisa was curious too.
“Well,” You started. “I’ve been feeling like I’m being watched by the Hunters. They’re never very far away either, it’s starting to creep me out. I can’t go to The Willow knowing that. What if they follow me and find Mandu? That’s her safe place.” You expressed your worries. Although you left out the part where they tried to make a deal with you.
“You have a good heart (Y/n).” You shrug.
-
It was quiet. Too quiet. You haven’t seen any Hunters since the morning. They weren’t on their patrols or hanging out in the Marketplace either. You had an unsettling feeling in your stomach. Especially since you hadn’t interacted with Mandu. Usually she would come and find you despite you shooing her away in case she’s spotted. But she hasn’t, not today.
You decided to walk around the village. Just to see what the Hunters are doing, maybe even find Mandu.
You saw other Hunters, but never did you see Kai and his groupies. It was only when you walked near the edge of the village boundaries , near the river that circled around the village you heard Mandu.
You scrambled down the path, and as you got closer you heard the sound of the river. Your heart pounded in your ears as you thought about the worst-case scenarios.
What if Mandu is drowning? Is she being attacked by wild animals?
You approached the river bed, freezing at the sound of voices. You hid behind a big rock and peeked over it.
Your heart falls to the bottom of your stomach at the sight. A group of Hunters surround the feline with nets and sharp tools. You spot their ringleader. Minho in all his glory stands in the middle, the ever so present smirk on his face.
You noticed Kai and Namjoon weren’t present, it was just Minho and some other men. They seemed to be working for Minho.
Mandu hissed at the men surrounding her. Minho holds a crossbow in his hand, as he laughs along with the men around him. He proceeds to reload the bow with another arrow. The arrow was coated with a thick dark colored liquid.
He aims, squaring his soldiers and lining up his feet. “I won’t miss again.” He whispers before firing, the arrow making a sharp whooshing sound.
Just like he said, he didn’t miss this time. The arrow hit Mandu right in the shoulder and she let out a pained yelp. You watch as Mandu stumbles back, the men surrounding her slowly closing in. They would grab her, she had nowhere left to go.
But no, having moved backward too far she eventually falls prey to the rushing current of the river behind her. It took everything in you not to reveal yourself and jump in to grab her. You dug your nails into your palms. You had to be patient. You couldn’t rush in like you normally do. You had to be level headed.
Mandu fought, her small legs kicked and thrashed against the current to keep herself afloat. She stayed strong for about fifteen seconds before she grew tired.
“Would you look at that boys! The poison’s already taking effect.” Minho whoops watching the cat's struggles get slower. He’ll have to compensate the man who sold him it.
Mandu’s head bobs under the water, returning to the surface slower each time. Her strangled mewls sound throughout the air as she fights the current.
They walk along the gravel trail next to the river for a while, following her. You sneak behind them.
“The poison has already spread. She’s just driftwood at this point, let’s catch her at the end of the river boys. It won’t be long.” Minho motions for them to follow and they leave.
You didn’t waste any time, as soon as they were out of sight you removed your sweater and dived in. Your feet didn’t even touch the bottom of the river.. The water temperature was a shock. Immediately after getting in you took in a strained breath. It was freezing. You couldn’t imagine what Mandu felt.
You swam with the current, which pushed you towards Mandu’s unmoving body faster. You could see the rivers drop making you kick faster.
Once you reached her you cradled her unmoving body in one arm, and began swimming with one arm. It was difficult, you swallowed water many times causing you to pause to cough it up. You were focused on keeping Mandu above the water.
Once you crawled out the water you quickly assessed the feline's situation. Her chest wasn’t rising at all and she was ice cold.
“No, no no! Wake up, wake up-” CPR- You can’t believe you're giving an animal out of all things CPR. You did twelve compressions on Mandu, and soon the water she swallowed was coughed up. Her eyes opened up a fraction and she let out a quiet meow before they closed again.
You didn’t know what to do.
So you ran as fast as you could to Chulichaeng’s shop.
Roseanne just watched her friends bicker. They surely were a match made in heaven.
“It’s cold! Put it on.” Lisa only shook her head, and if you ask Jisoo, or anyone really, Lisa was being childish.
“I can’t have you getting sick!” Jisoo fussed, trying to catch her around the table. All she wanted was for Lisa to wear warm clothing to protect her from the autumn chill. Although Lisa was very adamant her thin sweater and gloves kept her warm enough, Jisoo disagreed.
“You know that’s not possible.” Lisa doesn’t get sick. Well, she has a very low chance compared to other people.
“Still, I can’t have you die from hypothermia.”
“Shouldn’t you wait till winter to worry about that?” Lisa said, not understanding how a little chill in the air is going to “make her sick”, let alone kill her. It’d make more sense if it was winter, but it’s not. But then she remembered.
“Jisoo that was one time.”
“Lisa-” The door bursts open, effectively cutting Jisoo off and scaring the few shopping customers in the process.
“Help—” You stood there soaked and out of breath, a cat they soon realized was Mandu in your arms wrapped in your sweater.
Roseanne was quick to move, immediately telling customers to leave. After they did she shut the door. Lisa headed to the medicine cabinets.
You handed Mandu to Jisoo. “It’s all my fault- I knew something wasn’t right..” You cried. “They poisoned her.”
Roseanne came up to you, now with a blanket in her hands. “(Y/n)? Put this on please, you're shaking.” You shook your head, they should be worrying about Mandu.
What if…Mandu died because you took too long to save her? What if you hadn’t got there in time? You had to make sure she was okay.
“I’m fine-” you began, only to be cut off by Roseanne.
“You're not.” Roseanne's voice was hard, and stern. She sighed, "Come here.” She wrapped the cover around you. “We'll take care of her okay? Don't worry. You head home and change before you get sick."
“But-” You shut your mouth at the glare she gave you. Roseanne was scary when she was mad.
“Yes.” You agreed, albeit reluctantly. And while walking back home you couldn’t help but think if the best solution really was avoiding interaction with Mandu. After all, Roseanne has told you countless times everything happens for a reason.
Meanwhile, Minho was angry. He lashed out on his friends.
“Where is that damn cat!” He tugged at his hair, trying to think of how and when the cat could’ve gotten away. The poison definitely took it out for the time being. This was his chance. His chance to get his hands on the key without being stuck in Kai’s shadow.
But he fucked it up.
“Minho.” Minho immediately froze, he turned around with a smile on his face. Kai stood behind him. Kai stood there unimpressed, “What do you think you’re doing, going after the cat without informing me?”
“I just wanted to have a little fun, that's all.” Minho stuffed his hands in his pocket and shrugged, trying to act nonchalant.
Would you like to continue? ʅ(◞‿◟)ʃ

Being Park Jimin's younger sister comes with pros and cons. Cons, Park Y/N will never experience a true day of peace in her life. Pros, they were able to became friend's with other idol's sisters, and even though they became friends because of their brothers, they stayed friends because they all fit together, like pieces of a puzzle. Only thing? Don't fall for anyone's brother. Easy enough, until Y/N exposes her two year crush on Nishimura Konon's brother, Nishimura Riki. Not just to Konon though, the whole world.
𝐆𝐈𝐑 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐎𝐑. ft park 'jay' jongseong. ♡
━━━ a track featuring korean-american korean-pop artist park jongseong, better known as jay.
After nerdy sixteen-year-old Park Jay and his buddy Park Sunghoon baby-sat his little sister, Haerin, and almost got her killed, it's no surprise Jay isn't trusted to watch the house and his sister. His parent's solution? Hire Y/N L/N, the beautiful girl next door. While the situation may not be ideal, boys in his town would kill to be in his position. Only issue? He's pretty sure she's a vampire.

Y/N L/N is the biggest kpop fan-turned-idol you’ll ever meet. No, Seriously. Their room has one wall covered in kpop posters and another that holds all their lightsticks and photocards. It’s not like it’s a secret, but it’s somewhat embarrassing. They nearly fainted when Jisoo signed their album for them. So it’s not something they go around parading. But of course, they have to post a theee paragraph rant on DOLCHAT, an app exclusively for idols, about their immense love for their ult biases, Huh Yunjin and Lee Heeseung. And of course, it lands right on their main page. Just their luck.
𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄?! ft kim chaewon/huh yunjin. ♡
━━━ a track featuring korean-pop artist (kim chaewon) (huh yunjin). more to be added soon.

𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄?! ft ahn yunjin/naoi rei/kim jiwon. ♡

𝐁𝐑𝐔𝐓𝐀𝐋. ft phạm 'hanni' han. ♡
━━━ the title track featuring vietnamese-australien korean-pop artist phạm han, known professionally as hanni. more to be added soon.
God, being a teenager is brutal. Of course, it's even more torture when you're in the spotlight; every move you make is documented and recorded to be used or held against you at a later date. And while most of the time it's justified, for seventeen-turning-eighteen year old idol Y/N L/N, it's a pain in the ass. especially when she ends up tweeting on the wrong account about her dumb little crush on newly debuted idol Hanni Phạm. And of course it comes right around the time that theyre ready to drop her solo debut album, aligning with NEWJEANS's debut. God, it's brutal out here.
𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝟐 𝐔. ft mo 'danielle' jihye. ♡
━━━ a track featuring korean-australien korean-pop artist danielle marsh, or mo jihye, known professionally as danielle. more to be added soon.
𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄?! ft kim minji/pham hanni. ♡
━━━ a track featuring korean-pop artist (kim minji) (pham hanni). more to be added soon.
𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍. ft kim minji. ♡
━━━ a track featuring korean-pop artist kim minji, known professionally as minji.
y/n l/n wanted to cause a riot. when their ceo had came to them directly and told them to pick the members, the concept, that their group would have 70% control and freedom over their career, they knew they wanted to put a hole right in the idol industry. and in doing so, they just happen to catch the attention of newly debuted idol kim minji.
𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐠. its a little rusty but ultimately its super cute!! :) | 221230—if you see this has been updated shhhh

Lost Soul (lviii) ☯︎︎ (ATEEZ)
Lost Soul (lviii) ☯︎︎ (ATEEZ)
PAIRING: Yunho x Ji Ah
WORD COUNT: 2.6k
GENRE: fantasy+pirate au; romance; mystery; adventure; action; angst; gore; mythology
<- 𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠 // 𝑚𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑙𝑖𝑠𝑡 \\ 𝑛𝑒𝑥𝑡 ->
You walked with Yunho, Yeosang and Jisoo carefully through the woods as you pushed through the branches and tall grass in the way. You stayed close by one another so no one would get caught or lost.
“Jisoo, there’s something I need to tell you,” You said to her as the both of you were in the back as Yunho took the lead, followed by Yeosang. “What is it?” She questioned you back, glancing over at you after moving a branch out of both of your ways.
You nibbled on your lip, wondering if this is a right decision. “You remember when I first came here and never knew who I was?” You reminded her as you pushed some grass out of your way. She nodded her head as she continued to watch where she was going. “I finally figured who I am,” You whispered, a little bit scared of how she’ll take it.
“Really!? Then….who were you?” She asked as she looked at you. “My name is actually...Aadya…” You mumbled the ending as you moved a branch from your way. She looked at you with widened eyes. “Like...wait, Aadya as in Aadya the Goddess of Life and All!?” She questioned you.
Yunho and Yeosang turned around to look at the both of you. “You’re telling her?” Yeosang asked as he glanced at Jisoo then at you. You nodded your head with a small smile on your face. “I trust her enough, I mean, I knew her since the time I washed up here,” You chuckled at the memory. “Well, welcome to the crew about knowing who she really is,” Yunho laughed.
You smiled towards him before you four continued to walk through the woods before finding the open area you remembered as a kid. “Wow…” You subconsciously said as you looked around the familiar place. You walked up to a tree with a carving in it stating: ‘Ji Ah and Jisoo, together until the end’.
You smiled as you turned back around to go back to the others. “Now we’re in the territory of the Ayrith guards, be careful.” Jisoo stated as she looked at you three. Yeosang pulled out his book as he flipped through a couple of pages before finding the one he needed. “Says you have about every elemental ability, the ability to fly with white wings...and to heal, and of course we know,” He told you as he looked up to meet your gaze.
“Neat…” You said as you let out a sigh and sat down. You closed your eyes as you began to focus on whatever ability came to you first. The others watched you carefully, staying quiet so they wouldn’t disturb you. They stared at you with curious eyes as your brows furrowed together.
Your body subsciously began to relax as your hands began to reach out into the ground, feeling the earth underneath you. You could feel the vibrations of everything on your fingertips, from the animals burrowing under the dirt, and the three others in front of you.
You continued to let loose of your body, your mind connecting into the natural element under you. Though...you felt an energy, a weak but yet powerful energy not too far from you. You felt your being, your soul travelling into the ground scurrying to find the source like a mole digging through the ground.
You could hear something, as if something was trying to call out for help. The quick scene playing behind your eyelids as you saw It. It was a dragon, she was in pain, in the need of a savour. Your soul peered out of the ground in front of her, as she could feel your presence. She lifted her head as a large piece of cloth covered her eyes from seeing. You noticed the scars and scratches around her whole body. Her wings teared up as she was chained down into the ground.
She faced your soul, you could feel her staring into you even though she was momentarily blinded before she said “Save him...” She begged. You looked around as you noticed guards around her, placing blades over fire to heat them up. They turned around to the dragon as they stepped closer to her. “Tell me where your baby is, or I will make sure I’ll kill you and torture him in vain to your stupidity.” The guard said as he ordered a guard to push the sword through her scales into the flesh of her, a roar erupting from her. Another guard then walked up to him and whispered something into his ear before pointing….pointing at you. They both turned to face you, looking into your soul.
That was enough for your soul to quickly travel back to the ground to your body as you let out a hard and heavy gasp as you removed your hands from the ground. Your eyes widened as you looked around, you felt a heavy lump in your throat as you began to panic. The three stared at you with worry. Yunho rushed to you, crouching down to your level as he placed his hand on your face. “Hey, you’re alright,” He comforted as he gently rubbed your face with his thumb.
“Go.” You told them as you stood up, grabbing the taller males hand and looking into his eyes. “What?” Yeosang asked with confusion laced in his tone. “You have to go, right now! Jisoo! Get everyone and take some to Skystead!” You told her as you pushed her away. “But that place is-“ “Now!” You interrupted her.
You turned and faced the men. “You both quickly get back to the ship, I have to go take care of something,” You told them as you began to back away from them. “Aadya, whatever you’re thinking, we can’t let you do it yourself,” Yeosang told you as he placed his book away, glancing towards Yunho.
“Jisoo, go, I’ll meet you there,” You said to her, her face saddening. You walked over to her and immediately wrapped your arms around her. “I promise, I just want you to be safe this time,” You whispered to her in her ear. She nodded her head as she broke away from you.
“Until then, Aadya.” She bowed with a smile. She stood up and ran back the way you came from. You then turned to the men. “I’m going to be fine, trust me,” You chuckled as you hugged them, feeling them wrap their arms around you too. “What if something happens?” Yunho asked you, you all breaking away from each other. “If so, we’ll be able to get through it,” You told them.
The two of them were held back in their thoughts wanting to listen to you, but the danger you might put yourself in, worried them and didn’t want to leave. “Trust me, please.” You begged, backing up towards the other way. They both sighed at the same time before nodding. “Just be careful!” Yunho told you as he grabbed Yeosang as they ran off the same direction Jisoo ran.
You turned to face the other way as you felt some type of strong aura rush over you. Closing your eyes and taking a deep breath, you ran towards that direction to look for the dragon.
You hid behind the trees, looking around for any guards. You managed to find the beautiful red dragon, though disregard all of her scars, she’s one beautiful and strong creature.
After making sure the coast was clear, you slowly made your way to her as you stood in front of her. “Is that...you?” She grumbled through the pain as she moved her head a little. You gently placed your hand on her snout as you rubbed across her scales. “It is, I couldn’t leave you here.” You told her, speaking the tongue of Dragonkin. “I felt your soul looking at me...but you're not a mortal, you’re a Goddess….I thought they were all deceased.” She said to you, a low bellow leaving from her throat as she moved her tail.
“I’m going to help you, I’m going to heal you to the best of my ability, but you have to let me,” You said to her, wrapping your fingers around the blindfold over her eyes before pulling it off her head, watching it fall to the ground. Her eyes adjusted to the sunlight as you watched both of her eyelids close and open. Her vertical pupils averted to look at you. “Aadya.” She said as she immediately knew who you were just by your looks.
You smiled as you nodded your head, moving your head to rub under her chin. “I trust you. I must save my child.” She begged. You nodded your head as you pulled your sword out as you went around her, the blade of your sacred sword cutting the chains off of her body and limbs with ease before you went back to face her. “Relax. This won’t hurt you,” You told her, placing your hand back on her snout as you closed your eyes, relaxing yourself, feeling the dragon doing the same.
The glowing light, like before, began to shine as it slowly crept into the flesh of the creature. The once open wounds began to close up. You felt the dragon gladly take the energy from you to restore its own.
It didn’t take long for the majestic creature to fully heal as you backed away from her. She opened her eyes as she stared at you. “Thank you,” She smiled. “Why wouldn’t I help someone like you?” You questioned with a light chuckle before you heard twigs snapping in the direction. “They must be coming back, we should flee,” The dragon said to you as she stood up on her legs.
“That would be too large of a scene, don’t you think?” You tried to explain. “I need to save my son. Get on my back,” She quickly responded as she stared into your soul once again. You nibbled on your lip as you heard more leafs and twigs breaking in the distance. You sighed in defeat as you quickly hopped onto the creature, holding on her horns.
“It’s not too far, just at the edge of the shore,” She told you as she began to flap her wings, the force pushing back everything in reach. You could hear the quick steps of guards as they heard the commotion happening. “Stop! How did you-?” He stopped mid sentence as he saw you on top of the dragon. “Aadya…” He whispered, but you managed to hear him before the red dragon flew away.
Making it to the coast, she flew down before landing safely in the sand. You quickly hopped off of her. “He’s in that cavern,” She said as she used her legs to gallop over to the opening. “Go inside, I’ll be looking out just in case,” You said to her. She snorted through her nose as an okay before going into the darkness of the cave. You hid under the bushes as you looked around carefully.
You placed your hand on the ground and closed your eyes again to feel if the Ayrith guards are near, and luckily they aren’t. You opened your eyes just in time to see the dragon coming out with her son. You backed away to make a little distance between you three as you knew younglings of dragons were quite atrocious, eating anything in its path, besides it’s only family...but still.
“Don’t worry, he knows what’s going on. I had told him a long time ago why I will disappear, that’s why he had stayed hidden in here,” She told you, noticing you creating a distance. You nodded your head, slowly walking up to her.
You noticed the young dragon hiding under the wing of the mother as he peaked his snout out to look at you before hiding again. You let out a soft giggle as you looked at the mother. “What may I call you?” You asked. “My name is Suvraynth, The Warrior. My son is Einnulig, The Gentle.” She told you, making you smile as you stepped towards her son. “Einnulig? I’m not going to hurt you.” You softly spoke to him as you continued to step closer to him.
“She’s the one that saved me. Remember all the stories I told you about immortals? This is Aadya, she is the goddess of life and all.” Suvraynth said to him. The young dragon peaked its head out, looking at you as it was hesitant to walk out. “You saved Mother? And speak our tongue?” He asked, lowering his head up at you, continuing to stay cautious.
You nodded your head with a smile plastered on your face as you looked at the innocent little dragon. “You both should hurry up and flee, go to Skystead. I will see you there,” You said to them, rubbing their heads. “Isn’t that…?” Suvraynth asked as she began to spread her wings. You nodded your head.
A snapping of a twig in the distance made you three quickly snap your heads in the direction of the trees. “Shit…” You cursed under your breath. “Go. I don’t want anything to happen to you both,” You began to rush them. You then noticed as she had something in her mouth as it hung on her tooth. “Aadya, take this,” She said as she bent her head down to your level.
You looked at her in her eyes before looking at the medallion. You pulled it off her tooth before examining it. “This is so you can summon my son,” She explained. “Your son?!-” “Yes, because I am too old to be your dragon, but I will teach him,” She said as she looked at Einnulig. “Okay, Einnulig?” She asked him. He looked at you, your gazes connecting. Something sparked inside of the small dragonling before he looked over at his mother. “Yes, I understand Mother,” He replied.
She bellowed before flapping her wings. Einnulig did the same as he followed his mother close behind. “When you are ready, prick your finger in the medallion!” She called out. You nodded your head as you put it in your pocket for later. “I will see you again one day, Suvraynth, The Warrior! And to you Einnulig, The Gentle…I will see you soon!” You called out as you watched them fly higher and higher before they began to go west. Once they were a good distance, you turned around as you dashed through the woods back to the docks.
Your quick steps were the only thing you could hear as you stepped on leaves and branches. But you began to hear one, then two more quick steps behind you as it turned into many. You fastened your pace, seeing the village in the near distance. Pushing the hanging vines out of your way, you made it back to the centre of town.
You saw in the distance a boat sailing away, Jisoo already sailed away with the rest of the survivors. Your gaze then averted back to your ship, back at Atiny as you rushed towards the docks.
You ran against the sand before your footsteps on the wood echoed around you. You rushed up the gangplank to the quarterdeck. “Hongjoong! Sail away, we have to go!” You yelled at the captain. He turned to you with furrowed brows.
“I was waiting for you.” He said before he went over to the ship's wheel. “We don’t have all day, goddamnit!” You turned around and rushed to the railing over the quarterdeck. “Weigh anchor! All hands on deck! We have to hurry before-!” “Before...what?” You heard a familiar voice as they interrupted you.
Everyone stopped what they were doing as they turned to see who it was. You clenched your fists together as you looked at the two men in front of you before saying their names. “Changbin, Kangdae. Isn’t it funny to see you here…” You sarcastically said.

Midnight moments with Seventeen
Seventeen masterlist Group Masterlist
A/N: Under a read more not because it’s suggestive but because 13 members and a very long post
S.Coups/Seuncheol:
Any down time of his was usually spent sleeping and you really couldn’t blame him. Ever since you had started dating Seungcheol, you’re downtime was definitely spent taking naps more than anything else and well, you loved it.
This night was a little different, but the general idea was the same. You could feel Seungcheol’s fingers dancing over your sides as you talked, drawing shapes on your skin through your shirt. “You know what’s most surprising about tonight?” He asked hands coming up to cup your face with a smile. “Hmm?” You asked lazily, placing your hands on his bare chest. “That it’s midnight on a day off and I haven’t fallen asleep yet.” You laughed at his words, before he rolled you both over so he laid on top of you.
“If you’re not carefull, you’ll become as lazy as me on your days off.”
Jeonghan:
“Just know, before you I had never done this before.” You said and he laughed, getting ready to kick the ball. “I could tell by how you kick.” Jeonghan joked and you shook your head. This was something you don’t do often, soccer at night and it had become something you and Jeonghan would look forward too when the opportunity presented itself.
With just the two of you, it was fun. Running around the empty park lit up only by the glow of street lighting and the moon, laughing and playing like kids. Especially when you missed a very open goal, it was highly amusing. “Wahh, you really suck at this. You would think the more we do this, you’d get better.” He said wrapping his arms around you and tackling you to the grass gently. You shoved him slightly with a laugh, not wanting to give in to your loss.
“It’s okay, I still love you even if you suck at soccer.”
Joshua/Jisoo:
It was the simple text around midnight that asked: Do you want to go for a drive? Which meant, Joshua couldn’t sleep, not that you were complaining. Late night drives were a blessing with Joshua, filled with hot cocoa, cookies, some good music and some 1 on 1 time with him.
“Couldn’t sleep?” You asked as you sat down next to him. “Maybe, or maybe I just wanted to spend some time with you.” He turned his head with a cheesy smile and you laughed. “So you couldn’t sleep. “Yeah I couldn’t sleep. BUT, I did bring you hot cocoa with whipped cream.” He said, handing you the cup and kissing your cheek. You smiled at him, sipping the drink gently because it was hot.
“Where should we go? Drive by the beach, or go through the city?”
Jun/Junhui:
You couldn’t help but doze off slightly to the sound of his voice, your brain wasn’t even registering what he was saying at this point either. Jun’s voice was just so comforting and it was late, his little trick to help you learn Chinese faster wasn’t going to work at least not at midnight. He had come up with the concept of reading books to you in Chinese, to help you learn.
“Yah, are you sleeping?” He asked, the book shutting loudly to make your eyes shoot open. “I’m sorry, I was dozing off.” You admitted with a little laugh. Jun put the book down and moved to lean over you. “If I had more time in a day I would read with you in the afternoon and not at midnight.” He was apologetic towards you for that, but he didn’t need to be. You absolutely understood. You pushed his hair out of his face and smiled. “Let’s just stop reading tonight, go to bed.” You whispered and tried to convince him, only for him to smile.
“Let’s finish this chapter.”
Hoshi/Soonyoung:
“So just twist this way-” “Like this?” You asked attempting to mimic his movements only to hear him laugh heartily. “I mean, you’re not wrong but you’re not right.” He explained and you stood up straight, crossing your arms. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” Soonyoung wrapped his arms around you quickly, tucking his face into your neck.
You had come to keep him company in the practice room, because he was alone and it was late and now he was teasing you. Your back pressed against his and you looked in the mirror. “It’s okay, I won’t make you dance again.” He said softly and you laughed. “You’re trying to be sweet but it still feels like you’re laughing at me.” You said and Soonyoung burst out into laughter.
“That’s enough practicing for today, how about we just go home and watch a movie or something.”
Wonwoo:
You could feel his eyes on you as you flipped through the pages of your book, he wasn’t paying attention to his own at all anymore. You often late night read together, it was something you both enjoyed. Being able to sit in silence together, immersed in different stories but still together. But now, he was just watching you as you read.
“Book boring?” You asked, placing your bookmark between the pages. “Everything is boring compared to you.” Wonwoo smiled cheekily and you hid your face in your hands in embarrassment. “You’re delirious, go to bed.” You said, watching him get up from his chair to drop down to his knees in front of you and take your book from your lap. He grabbed your hands and looked you in the eyes, seemingly going to say something very serious.
“How about we go get some ice cream or something?”
Woozi/Jihoon:
It was refreshing to be with Jihoon in the studio but to not have him working. You had managed to convince him to take a break, which ended up in him laying on top of you on the couch as you played with his hair. You were simply listening to him ramble on about the newest Going Seventeen episode and what they had to do.
“They set up this whole course, it was absolutely insane. I really wonder how the producers come up with this stuff.” He explained and you had to laugh. “I’m amazed at their creativity. Wish I had some of that while working.” He continued and you kept petting his hair. “Nah, you’re plenty creative and good at you’re job.” You smiled and he shook his head.
“You’re supposed to say that, you’re dating me.”
Dokyeom/Seokmin:
Curse restaurants that were open late, especially really good pizza joints. Late night snack you both called it and well, you absolutely loved these moments with him. “Midnight pizza should be illegal.” Seokmin said and you nodded, taking a bite of your own pizza. “To some of your managers, it probably is.” You joked and he sighed.
“You spoiled the fun with one sentence.” He laughed and you joined in. “Sorry.” You laughed out and he rested his head onto your shoulder. “We should probably head home soon.” He added, finishing his pizza and throwing a napkin on to his plate. He turned in his chair to look at you with a bright smile before pressing his forehead to yours.
“Thank you for coming out with me when I’m craving pizza at midnight.”
Mingyu:
“I can’t believe you crave cookies at midnight, beg me to make them with you and then also spill the dough.” You whisper yelled, trying to keep quiet for the other members in the dorm were sleeping. Mingyu was a laughing mess on the floor, covered in flour and dough. “I’m sorry.” He choked out and pulled you down to the floor with him.
“What’s going on in here?” Seungcheol asked, hearing the ruckus that came with the mess. It must’ve been a sight to his eyes. “Mingyu wanted freshly baked cookies.” You said, attempting to pat out some of the flour in his hair. Mingyu simply smiled at you as you did. Seungcheol simply raised his eyebrows and walked away, not wanting to deal with it. Mingyu pushed up off the ground, helping you up with him.
“I’ll clean this up. Maybe we should attempt this tomorrow again.”
The8/Minghao:
You were perched on the foot of his bed, scrolling through your phone as he went back and forth through his closet. Glancing up every now and then to look at him. “Okay, do these work together?” He asked, showing off the outfit he had put together. Minghao often did this late at night, when he was worried about what to wear out the next day.
“It doesn’t not work.” You said and he scoffed. “Right, different shirt.” He said, pulling it off swiftly and going back to his closet. You shook your head with a laugh, returning to aimlessly scrolling on your phone. Only for him to huff and join you on the bed and placing his head on your shoulder with a sigh. “It’s hard to be fashionable isn’t it?” You asked and he nodded.
“So exhausting.”
Seungkwan:
One hand held his while the other held your fish cakes as you walked through the park. Seungkwan had finished work early (but still midnight) and wanted to take a walk with you, so there you were, at midnight, under the promise of being treated to fish cakes.
“So how was practice?” You asked and you could physically feel him sigh. “I’m so tired today, I don’t know why?” He said, gesturing for you to give a bite of your food. “Maybe because it’s midnight and you’ve been dancing all day.” You suggested and he shrugged. “Right. That could be it.” He took the fish cake skewer from your hand, eating the rest. You looked at him with disapproval, snatching the skewer back.
“You owe me another one.”
Vernon/Hansol:
“Okay but how would you style that?” You asked, pointing to the absolutely ridiculous hat on whatever clothing website he was looking on. “I would just style it. Put it on my head and wear it.” Vernon teased, adjusting his laptop on his stomach as you both aimlessly scrolled.
“Those shoes are cool.” You pointed and he nodded. “Want me to order them for you?” He asked and you started laughing. “I thought we were just window shopping?” You asked, dropping your head onto his shoulder and pulling the blankets up over your own. You watched him add them to his cart with a smile, before adding that hat.
“When am I ever just window shopping?”
Dino/Chan:
“We have to come up with a penalty.” You said, before starting your tekken match. “A penalty, you sure about that?” Chan asked, raising his eyebrows at you in question. “I’m very sure... how about loser pays for our late night snack tonight.” You suggested and he shook his head.
“No, no it’s too late for that anyways. Think bigger.” He started, pausing to think. “Loser buys the other coffee for the next 2 months.” He suggested and you hummed. “You’re on. Lee Chan your coffee money is mine.” You said and redirected your attention to the tv. It only took a few moments for your character to knock his out and he was laying flat on the floor, staring at the ceiling.
“Why do I always have to one up the bets, it always bites me in the butt. Even with you. But okay, starting tomorrow I’ll get you a coffee everyday.”
A/N: This took me forever. I need to get back in the swing of things in writing for Seventeen.

pairing: minghao x reader
genre: fluff and slight angst
wc: 2.4k
“strawberries and cigarettes always taste like you”
eri’s note: i always somehow manage to come up with scenario ideas during stressful times 🙃 i hope you beans enjoy it, let me know about your thoughts on this piece! 💘

minghao didn’t like the way his art history seatmate smelt of cigarettes and some sort of perfume he was still trying to distinguish despite having sat next to you in the cold lecture hall for the entire fall semester. he also disliked the way you constantly chewed gum to mask your cigarette scent breath when all he could hear were chewing sounds that irritated him to the core. and he hated the way you managed to score the highest grade every exam mr. kwon made his class take after a finished topic.
“and that’s all for today folks, make sure to read the lecture notes i released this morning!”
finally, he thought. minghao gathered his laptop and phone which he shoved into his canvas bag. he eyed the way you slowly picked up your blank notebook and your single pen, and he couldn’t help but sigh aloud. “come on, some of us are trying to get to our next class yn,” you heard him say through clenched teeth.
you chuckled as you pocketed your pen in your jean jacket, “oh shut up hao, your next class is right in front of his lecture hall.” minghao tried to fight the tint of red spreading across his cheeks when you twirled around to blow him a kiss.
“see you around xu minghao.”
lastly, minghao hated the way you made his heart beat faster at that very moment.
—
“oh come on cheollie, give me some slack! please,” you begged with your eyes from across the till. seungcheol didn’t know why he always succumbed to your pleadings when he knew it was wrong to lie to your manager that you arrived on time for your afternoon shift. seungcheol sighed and threw his apron at you.
“you owe me,” he ruffled your hair and stepped out of the coffee shop to catch his 4pm lecture that was about to begin in less that 15 minutes. you closed your eyes once you saw cheol’s figure disappear out of your sight. you felt like shit for making him cover for you again but with the pressure of taking care of everything at home, you had no choice but to beg for him to lie again.
the bell that was situated on top of door chimed when a customer entered, making you open your eyes and smile as much as you could to greet the incoming customer. and to your surprise, your eyes landed on xu minghao. he didn’t seem like he was in the mood for your antics so you greeted him like you would if it were any other customer.
“hi, what can i get for you?”
minghao was ready for your never ending sarcasm and the whiff of cigarettes from your clothes but he was surprised when you greeted him like a normal customer and the smell of strawberries coming from you which nearly had his mouth watering in hunger. he held eye contact as he detailed out his matcha order and when he handed you his card for the payment.
“you can just wait over there,” you smiled, again.
minghao leaned against a nearby wall as he watched you swiftly work your way through the coffee machine and some other stuff he couldn’t recognise. he was so lost in his own thoughts about you that he didn’t recognise his own name leaving your lips.
“minghao,” you repeated and jiggled his order softly in your hands. he snapped out of his thoughts and rushed over to grab his order.
“thanks yn.”
“wait,” you yelled out right before he grabbed the door to exit the coffee shop, “here, i think i heard your stomach growl during our class earlier on,” you jogged over and handed him a cookie before gently shoving him out into the cold street. he turned around and watched as you retreated back to your place behind the counter.
minghao really hated the way his heart skipped a few beats at your kind gesture.
—
he saw you again the following day. you rushed out of your car and jogged your way towards the entrance of the arts building, lugging your art supplies in your hands. minghao wanted to help you when he saw you struggle to open the door but jisoo’s voice snapped him out of his mind when she asked him about his morning.
“just fine,” he replied nonchalantly, picking at his food again. mingyu and jisoo shared a look before they scooted closer to minghao’s body. mingyu swallowed his fries and jisoo leaned her head against her palm to look at minghao.
“so..what’s bothering you picasso?”
minghao rolled his eyes at the mention of his nickname that jisoo insisted on calling him when they went to his first exhibit for his painting class. he mumbled out a faint “nothing” before proceeding to separate a fry from the melted cheese.
“i can smell the bullshit coming from your mouth,” jisoo pretended to sniff like a dog with mingyu following suit which caused minghao to drop his fork on the table and stand up from where he was sitting.
“you guys are the weirdest you know?” jisoo and mingyu nodded at the same time. minghao grabbed his canvas bag and bid his two bestfriends goodbye, heading towards his dorm building to get some much needed rest.
“see you later, lover boy,” mingyu called out.
he stumbled over his two feet at mingyu’s words and he realised, at that very moment, he was very whipped for you, your cigarettes and strawberries.
—
“you need to let loose kid, i’d hate to see you overwork yourself for the nth time this week,” seungcheol popped another strawberry into your mouth as you rinsed the soap off the utensils with lukewarm water. you turned the tap off once you washed the last mug and dried your hands with your apron.
“get off the counter choi,” you nudged his leg with your elbow. if your manager saw him and you chattering away instead of cleaning the coffee shop so you guys could close up quickly, she would lecture you both non stop about professionalism.
“oh come on yn, just one night? i’ll even introduce you to my friends so you won’t be lonely if i ever get whisked away by jeonghan. please please please-”
“say please one more time and i’ll make sure to tell jeonghan about every embarrassing story i know about you,” you threatened with a dried spoon. seungcheol’s eyes widened and he raised both his hands in defeat.
“you wouldn’t,” he huffed.
“try me sweetheart,” you blew a kiss in his direction, an act that had minghao pausing in his tracks. he didn’t mean to take the longer route back to his dorm which happened to be 10 minutes away from where you worked. he watched the way seungcheol threw his head back and closed his eyes in laughter. he liked the way your eyes twinkled when you giggled at your friend.
he turned around once he caught himself smiling at the scene. when he was far away from the coffee shop, minghao realised that he liked the way you smiled which seemed to reach your eyes.
—
“hao, can you proofread an essay for me?” you asked during a cold winter morning when the only people in the lecture hall were you, him and seokmin who was in deep sleep two rows away from you both.
he stared at you then at your hand that held the essay you wanted him to read. he nodded in silence and grabbed the pages from your hands, not without accidently touching the tips of your fingertips which had minghao blushing slightly at the contact.
you leaned your head against the table and carefully studied minghao’s features as he read your essay, word for word. you realised how adorable minghao looked with his glasses (that had no lens) framing his beautiful face. after he flipped the second page over, you noticed his glasses slowly sliding down his nose and without thinking, you slid them up so that they didn’t continue to fall from his face.
minghao stopped reading to look down at you and saw the way your eyes widened at your own actions. “‘m sorry,” you whispered, tucking your hand under your head. minghao gave you a soft smile and continued reading your essay.
you bit your lower lip when minghao flipped another page over, realising how your heart was beating faster than normal.
—
finals rushed in and you barely had the energy to complete all of them on top of working gruelling hours at the coffee shop. but you were glad seungcheol was generous enough to cover your shifts when you were neck deep with extra assignments and finals that seemed to stretch on forever.
thankfully, after you completed your last final, it happened to land on the day seungcheol was bringing you to an svt party. you still had yet to figure out what svt stood for but for once in your life, you were ready to let loose, just a tiny little bit.
you wore something you were comfortable in knowing you might have to walk home in the cold when you deemed yourself tipsy enough. seungcheol offered to ask wonwoo to drive you home but you declined since you didn’t have a clue who wonwoo was.
once you entered the frat house, bodies instantly crowded around you and seungcheol but you were grateful for his hand that enveloped yours in a protective manner. he pulled you closer into him until you managed to weave through the crowd and into the kitchen where his group of friends were playing some drinking game.
a chorus of seungcheol’s filled the room and a tipsy jeonghan appeared from the counter.
“cheollie,” he gushed, jogging towards him with his arms wide open. jeonghan gave him a bone crushing hug while you stood beside them in an awkward stance. you felt like you were being watched like a hawk by seungcheol’s friends but he quickly dismissed their gazes with a wave.
“this is yn, everyone,” seungcheol patted your back while everyone greeted you with gentle smiles, one of them even pulled you into a side hug. he was tall, and although his height kind of intimidated you, his grin removed any ounce of doubt in you.
“i’m mingyu but you can call me gyu if you’d like, whichever suits you.” from there on, you were passed around in hugs, some awkward and some comforting. as the night progressed, you felt your nerves settle once you got to know seungcheol’s group of friends. they were extremely loud but their laughters made you chuckle along with them despite not knowing what was making them laugh sometimes.
after your nth shot with mingyu and seungkwan, your legs felt like jello and you were beginning to sway a little bit. the house seemed to get louder and hotter as a rush of students continued to arrive during the night. you made a beeline towards the backyard where only a few students stood around in small groups, drinking and conversing about their finals.
you spotted an empty chair beside a guy who had his head firmly squished between his knees with a few beer bottles scattered around him. you made your way towards the empty chair, scooting it over a little further away from the guy as to not disturb his sleep.
—
the smell of smoke filled minghao’s nostrils as he tried his best to keep himself from puking out the contents of his stomach. admittedly, he knew he drank a little too much but in his defence, he was stressed about everything. he was stressed from the truck load of essays he had to do, the paintings he had to submit and lastly, a certain someone who smelt like a mixture of strawberries and cigarettes that seemed to be crowding his thoughts lately.
“minghao?” a voice came from his side when he raised his head to the right.
“yn?” he replied, opening one of his eyes to find you blowing out smoke to the side to avoid it from hitting his face. minghao watched you put out your cigarette on a nearby ashtray that was placed on the grass.
“fancy seeing you hear xu minghao,” you greeted, popping a mint in your mouth. he blinked at you, letting a wave of silence fill the air. he stretched out his hand towards you, which you stared at for awhile until he urged you to take it. he sat closer towards you, leaning his head on the arm of the chair you were sitting on as he closed his eyes, basking in the comforting silence surrounding you both.
“can i ask you something?” minghao broke the silence with a question that was either going to turn everything awkward or not.
“can i kiss you?”
you gasped lightly at his daring question, your heartbeat racing quickly in your chest. you’ve always thought minghao disliked you. he always seemed to wrinkle his nose whenever you sat near him and you knew it was because of the way your clothes smelt like smoke which was the reason why you began to wear perfume but you noticed that he didn’t appreciate the added smell to your clothes. you opted with chewing gum on a daily basis but that didn’t work out when he nudged you with his elbow, asking if you could chew with your mouth closed.
“y-you want to what?”
“nevermind. sorry i asked,” he retracted his hand away from yours as he began to gather the bottles of beer he abandoned on the ground. he felt a hand tug on his shirt, “but i thought you didn’t like me...even as your classmate,” a quiet voice asked.
his eyes nearly bulged out of his sockets when he heard you utter those words. he shook his head immediately, kneeling down so that he was perfectly situated between your parted legs. he cradled your head in his hands, rubbing your cheeks with his thumbs.
“who said?”
“n-no one, i just noticed the way you wrinkle your nose everytime i sit beside you so i figured you didn’t like me because-”
you stopped mid sentence as he leaned closer towards your face, scanning your eyes for any trace if discomfort. you nodded, letting your words die on your tongue. he pressed his soft lips against your own. the kiss was gentle but passionate just like him. he pulled away when you placed a hand against his chest.
“strawberries and cigarettes always taste like you,” he sang in a teasing tone.
“HAO YOU DID NOT JUST-”
he pecked your lips quickly and ran towards the sliding doors, giggling like a school child.

I would wait forever

I said "I would wait forever", and that's what I'm doing… I'm waiting for her, for her love more specifically.
I said that when we were only four, now we're eighteen and we're in college together, sharing a small apartment and she seems to have forgotten my promise.
I can tell she forgot, the amount of young men she brings back after dark tells me directly.
She smiles at me like I'm her best friend but her eyes say I'm a stranger. She doesn't talk to me all that much anymore, she barely even looks my way.
Her friends are displeasing to my eye and her boyfriend even more so.
It's all changed and I'm not enjoying it, I can't believe how she's turned on me, I refuse to believe this is the end of us.
"Morning" Jisoo mumbles, stumbling out of her bedroom with dark knotted hair and an oversized shirt draped over her thin figure.
"Good morning" I chirp back, a glad smile upon my face.
Jisoo makes her way over to the kitchen, placing some bread in the toaster as a male with the typical nerd look exits her room, his glasses slid half down the bridge of his nose.
One thing about jisoo is that she doesn't care who she's fucking, as long as she can't see their face. Guess it's so she can have a mental image of the person she actually loves instead of seeing some random person when she's getting pressured.
"I-I enjoyed last night. Can I have your number please?" Poor boy, Jisoos only leading him on, they'll never talk again, they'll for sure never hook up again.
"Mmm? Oh, maybe later" she smiles at him, handing him his coat.
"Like, at school?" Jisoo nods. "Alrighty! I'll introduce my friends to you too!" She closes the door on his face with a slam.
"Please don't" she groans, an annoyed look on her beautiful face. As if on cue, the toaster pings, two fresh pieces of toast pop up.
"Hey y/n?" I hum in response "mind telling your little nerd friend to not embarrass me? Keep him and his friends away from me"
"I don't even know that dude-"
"Do it or get kicked out of my apartment" this is my apartment, she lives here and pays bare minimum.
She spends all her money on alcohol and useless 'toys'... whatever, she clearly enjoys them though. I can hear her voice through the walls almost every night.
It's generally sickening to hear the person you love with others in her bedroom after curfew hours.
"Fine, whatever" I scoff back.
I swear going into classes with Jisoo is even worse than just living with her. She's either constantly laughing in the back or flirting in front of me.
It's genuine hell for me.
"Pay attention, miss keeps looking at you. She could pick on you at any moment" Taehyung whispers to me, ink drawn letters are covering his entire page like paint on a canvas.
"Yeah, I suppose you're right" I grumble, a frown growing in the corners of my lips. The tip of my pen collides with the paper, words being scribbled down, written to the point where they're just about readable.
"What could be the hazards of this?" The teacher asks, picking out the students with social anxiety. She's a bastard for doing that to them, they struggle enough as it is.
"P-possible liver failure and incomplete digestion" miss hums, a somewhat satisfied look on her face.
"Y/n, care to add?"
No, I really don't care enough to add..
"Could also cause nausea, throwing up of stomach acid and several blurred results" she nods, flicking her hair over her shoulder like some runway model.
Other than the unnecessary amount of times I have been picked on today, there were other things ruining my day… Jisoo always being the main reason.
Her voice is so loud, however, I'm not shocked she hasn't hasn't told to quieten down yet, I'm half positive her mother owns the school so… that's self explanatory.
She's floating around to every single and non single male possible, setting up a time for them to meet up in… private…
And by private I mean our shared apartment. I genuinely can't with her. I'm going to have to evict her soon, maybe tomorrow, after she pays me for this month's stay.
Yeah, I'll do just that..
Tomorrow came rather fast, and the payment even faster.. ₩2000, half of what she paid me last month.
She'd slap the cash in my hand "sorry, I need the rest for personal reasons" she'd chuckle as she'd walk away with such a confident strut.
"Jisoo" I'd call for her, her head would turn to the right slightly so her ear is facing me.
"I'm evicting you" my tone was stong and my posture even more so.
"What do you mean?" She turns completely, now facing you.
"I'm evicting you, you're no longer my roommate, I don't want you here anymore" her eyebrows furrow
"Well Why not? I pay, don't I?"
"Yes, you pay. However, you pay so little it's like you expect the rent to cost that little for a two bedroom apartment just a little way off the city" I scoff at her pissed face
"Always knew you'd be the to turn snotty" she spits
"That's really funny coming from you. You fuck people every night, ever consider what I hear at night? Ever considered the thoughts that run through my mind, how I lose hours of sleep because kd you and whoever is in there?"
"Don't need to, I have my boy toys and you have your ear plugs"
"I can't even afford earplugs. I'm that broke, paying for your food and the water consumption you cost me is expensive. I don't even want to talk about the gas"
"Then work more" her lip takes a slight dip, a disgusting look on her once beautiful face. Her personality is all clogged with the new fame.
"Do you even have a job or are you just some slut waiting to get paid for the things she does?" Jisoo stands silent at my words, her arms crossed over her chest.
"Fuck you" she walks past me, exiting the building.
"I could say the same to you too" I mumble, having a civil war with myself over whether or not I just did the correct thing.

just how much i love you

pairing: hong jisoo x gn reader
word count: 3.2k
genre: fluff, slice of life, established relationship, non idol au
summary: you recall each time you realized just how much joshua loved you and decide to return the favor
warnings: mentions of illness
song rec: better | jeremy passion
a/n: YOOO im a day late i meant to post this yesterday for shuas bday but then it completely slipped my mind and i forgot that time was a thing and i was like CRAP so then i was like u know what ill post it tmrw bc i mean its technically still his bday and hes a from america so it still counts anyways enjoy this tooth rotting fluff

you already knew that joshua meant the world to you - yet there are just some certain moments that come to mind when you think back on it.
one of the first moments that you thought of was when he was playing the guitar.
“whatcha writing down there?” you ask curiously as you leaned over joshua’s shoulder, trying to take a peek at whatever he was scribbling down on his journal. as you rest your chin on his shoulder, you wrap another arm around his neck. a silent chuckle leaves joshua’s lips as he slowly closes the book - pushing it off to the side “nothing that you need to know of just yet”
pouting, a whine leaves your lips as you shake his shoulders back and forth “aw c’mon shuaaa - you’ve been sitting here all day playing your guitar and you won’t even let me know what you’re doing”
he moves to the side a little so that he was able to get a good look of your face. setting his guitar down on the table in front of him, he motions for you to sit down with him. once he realizes you won’t budge as long as that pout on your lips was there, he stands up to wrap an arm around your waist - pulling you over the couch as you loudly yelped in surprise.
joshua places you onto his lap as he sits back down. securely wrapping his arms around your waist as he looks up at you with large, apologetic eyes “i’m sorry - were you getting lonely without me?” he teases.
all you could do was scoff in response which joshua just laughs at. its quiet for a second before he speaks up again “i can’t let you see it just yet. it’s a surprise”
“can i at least have a hint?”
he smiles at your question, reaching over to grab his guitar that he left on the table. he places it on your lap, leading your hands to hold onto it with his own. you were glad he wasn’t able to see the blush that covers your cheeks as he guided your hands to the guitar chords.
leaning over your shoulder to look at your hands, you can feel his hot breath graze your neck, which causes goosebumps to spread through your body “place your finger right here on this chord, and just strum lightly - exactly like that”
after teaching you a couple more chords, he pulls his hands away from yours, causing a wave of disappointment to wash over you. turning to look up at him, you give him a curious look “what was that for?”
he just shrugs as he moves himself towards the end of the couch, a sly smile on his face the entire times. opening up his notebook, he starts skimming through the pages “just chords for the song that i’m writing”
“song?”
“mhm - for you”
your face immediately turns red at his response “what?! you’re writing me a song?! why!”
he gives you a look of genuine confusion “do i need any other reason asides from the fact that i love you? anyways - it’s not ready yet so you’re just gonna have to wait” was all he said before getting up and leaving.
“wait! you can’t just say that and leave!” you call out after him as he laughs.
“i just did!”
that was the first time you had realized just how much joshua loved you.

“y/n… whats that in your jacket?”
you freeze from where you stood in the tiny apartment that the two of you shared. it was raining outside, and you were drenched from head to toe. joshua gives you a questionable look as he crosses his arms, cocking up one of his eyebrows.
you slowly look up as you clutch your jacket to your chest, a dumb look on your face “my jacket? theres nothing in it other than me, myself and i” you reply back. his eyes squint towards you as you try your best to avoid his gaze “you sure?”
as you open your mouth to respond, you were cut off with a bark coming from inside of your jacket. moments later, a small puppy pops up from your jacket - wiggling its way out of your arms and jumping onto the floor. a sheepish look covers your face as you lean down to pick up the puppy “okay maybe i was lying”
joshua doesn’t even look shock at the news, only a tired sigh coming from his lips “i thought you were going to get groceries”
you kick your shoes off and you hold the puppy closer to your chest “i know i said that but! look at him shua! isn’t he so cute!” you ask him as you walk towards your boyfriend. he looks down towards you and the dog in your arms as he chuckles “you know that you can’t just pick up stray dogs and bring them home right?”
your shoulders slump at his reply, a pout forming on your lips “i mean i know that… but he was all alone in the rain and he looked so sad… i couldn’t just leave him there!”
he nods in understanding, wrapping his arms around your waist to pull you closer “i know you had good intentions - but have you ever considered that our little friend has an owner already?”
turning towards the side, you pull the dog in closer “well they just left him outside all alone in the rain they’re obviously not a good owner” you say under your breath.
joshua points towards the dogs neck “isn’t that a collar? have you checked if they belonged to someone?”
“no… but!”
“we can’t just steal someone else’s dog - they may be upset right now”
a sigh leavings your lips as you lean forward to rest your head on your boyfriend’s shoulder “i know… but he’s just so cute!”
“i know he is, but he isn’t our dog. how about this - after we return him lets go to the shelter and see if we can get our own?”
you gasp loudly as you quickly turn to look up at him, eyes wide and filled with hope “really! do you mean it!”
joshua nods, a soft smile on his face “of course - but we still have to return him first okay?”
you nod your head quickly, noticing the fond smile that joshua aims towards you “what? what is it?”
all he does is shake his head, brushing off the question “nothing, you just look really cute right now” is what he tells you - quickly causing your face to heat up. he places a hand on your forehead as he leans in close, causing your breath to hitch.
“you feel warm - lets go change your clothes before we go back out. we wouldn’t want you getting sick do we?” he tells you as he pulls you on your head, dragging you towards your bedroom. you just nod shyly in response to his question as he laughs quietly at your reaction.
that was the second time you had realized just how much joshua loved you.

“joshua stay back! i don’t want you to catch -” you suddenly stop your sentence as you felt a sneeze coming up. quickly burying your face into your elbow, you let out a loud sneeze. joshua shakes his head at you as he pushes you back down onto the bed “shh, just let me take care of you”
feeling weak, you’re unable to even fight back “you’re always taking care of me though - it’s my fault that i got sick in the first place…”
joshua nods his head in agreement despite the offended scoff that leaves your lips “it is in fact your fault. i told you to dress warmly and bring an umbrella, and what did you do?”
“i didn’t dress warmly…”
“what else?”
“or bring an umbrella when it rained…”
he hums in acknowledgment as you places a wet towel on your forehead “i would say i told you so, but i think that you’ve learned your lesson”
a small frown appears on your face as joshua continued to scold you. you open your mouth to say something, but felt a pang in your head, causing a look of discomfort to now show on your face. a flash of worry appears on joshua’s features as you groan in pain “take it easy okay? don’t push yourself” he tells you as he hands you some medicine.
you place in the medicine in your mouth as you reach for the water, joshua’s already one step ahead of you. he brings the water up to your lips before you can even protest, helping you drink. once he pulls the cup away, you frown immediately “you don’t need to take care of me - you’ll get sick too”
he just shrugs at your comment though as he places the cup back down “i’m your boyfriend - why wouldn’t i take care of you?”
you’re about to retort back before he cuts you off with a quick kiss on the lips. you gasp loudly as you look at him in horror “joshua!”
joshua just laughs at your reaction “you can pay me back when i get sick by taking care of me. besides - if i wasn’t here to take care of you who would be?”
you’re unable to think of a response as joshua wraps his arms around you to pull you in for a hug “don’t worry y/n - i’ll always be there to take care of you” he reassures, causing your shoulders to relax.
a week later, joshua catches your cold.
“i told you that this would happen.” you scold him as you bring a spoon of soup up to his lips. he just smiles cheekily at you as he sits warm in bed “i told you you’ll be paying me back. but you don’t need to take care of me either - i was just joking really”
a light laugh leaves your lips at his comment. you place the bowl down and turn to look at him, grabbing his face with your hands “and like you said - i’ll always be there to take care of you too”
his face turned from surprised to one filled with adoration quickly as he gives you a toothy smile “then we’ll be taking care of eachother until we’re old and wrinkly”
that was the third time you had realized just how much joshua loved you.

“did you make these cookies yourself y/n?” seungcheol asks as him and jeonghan take a bit out of the cookies that you just baked. you nod your head excitedly as you await for their responses “i did! what do you think?”
before anyone could say anything, jeonghan opens his mouth to spit out the cookie “what did you even put in this? poison?”
you frown at his comment as you turn to look at seungcheol “they can’t be that bad!” you retort, but the look of disgust on seungcheol’s face tells you otherwise. he places the bitten cookie back down as he looks at you with wariness “why is it… so salty…”
“what are you even talking -” you start off as you grab a cookie from the cooling rack, but you stop yourself once you take a bite - a bitter taste of salt filling up your mouth. you quickly spit it back out as you now understand what your friends meant “why is it so salty!”
jeonghan shakes his head at you as he picks up one of the cookies to inspect it “maybe you put in the wrong ingredient when you were making it?” this comment makes you gasp as you come to realize your mistake.
“i think i mixed up the salt and the sugar!”
both of your friends give you looks of pity as you drop your head into your hands “this is horrible how am i supposed to give them to joshua now! i spent the last three hours for nothing!” you groan. seungcheol claps his hands together as he thinks of an idea “i know! lets throw them away before he gets home! then he’ll never know of your failure!”
raising your head from your hands, you give seungcheol a deadly glare which causes him to freeze in his chair “was it necessary to say it like that”
before any other ideas are thrown, the sound of the front door opening is heard - causing the three of you to panic.
“i’m home!” a familiar voice calls out, and before any of you were able to even touch the cookies - joshua has already entered the kitchen “oh! seungcheol! jeonghan! what are you two doing here?”
“well you see, y/n here wanted us to try her oh so amazing and delicious cookies that she’s worked so hard on” jeonghan explains, a devilish look in his eyes. seungcheol sighs once he realizes what jeonghan was planning and joshua just looks surprised.
he turns to you with a curious look on his face, glancing back down at the cookies on the cooling rack “you made cookies y/n?” he questions and all you can do was nod sadly “i was planning on surprising you with them when you came home but -”
“y/n spent hours working on these wonderful cookies just for you shua - why don’t you try some?” jeonghan presses on to which joshua nods. you glare at jeonghan who just gives you mischievous look back. as joshua reaches over and grabs a cookie, panic settles inside of you,
“look you really don’t have to -”
“these are great!”
you pause from where you stood and jeonghan and seungcheol both have the same confused look on their faces as you. joshua gives you a genuine smile as he takes another bite out of the cookie in his hand.
“they’re - wait what did you say?”
he nods as he continues to eat it - no sign of hesitation or lie on his face “you did great on them baby! thank you for the cookies” he tells you, leaning over to place a kiss on your forehead. you just stand there confused as he ultimately finishes up the cookie before grabbing another one.
jeonghan and seungcheol share a look with each other before turning back to joshua.
“you really think they’re good?” seungcheol asks warily which joshua nods in response to “of course i do - anything that y/n makes from scratch is good”
you felt your heart flutter at his response as you just stare up at him with wide eyes. jeonghan stares at joshua intently as he watches him eat another cookie “don’t you think theres anything off about it? maybe it tastes a little - salty?”
joshua pauses from eating the cookie and you hold your breath as you wait for his response. he just shakes his head though as he continues to eat the rest of the cookie “hm, its a little bit salty - but i still like it anyways”
as he finishes off the salt cookie, he excuses himself and tells you that hes going to go change first and be right back. you nod in response and the three of you wait until he finally leaves the kitchen. once you realize hes out of range, all three of you turn towards the cooling rack - each shoving a piece of cookie in your mouths.
as if on cue, you all spit the cookie back out. seungcheol grabs a napkin and tries to wipe the taste out of his mouth “either joshua’s a really good liar and was trying to get back at hannie - or theres something off about his tastebuds.”
jeonghan nods in agreement as he throws away the leftover cookie that he had onto a paper towel “i have no idea how he was able to eat three of those biohazards without even flinching”.
“its literally a salt cookie what is wrong with him” seungcheol questions as he grabs a glass of water for him and jeonghan. as jeonghan reaches to take the glass of water from seungcheol’s hand, he shakes his head.
“theres no way he actually found that edible - he must’ve just lied so he wouldn’t hurt y/n’s feelings”
you just stare at the cookies in shock as you realized that joshua ate your cookies no matter how gross and salty it tasted - just because you made them. a soft smile slowly appears on your face as you recall watching him eat the cookies you made - going as far as complimenting and thanking you for them.
that was the fourth time you had realized just how much joshua loved you.

“guys shh!” someone says as joshua enters into his apartment that he shared with you. his eyebrows furrow together in confusion as he takes off his shoes and his coat.
“y/n? you there?” he calls out as he realizes just how dark the apartment was. he waits for you to answer and immediately fills up with worry once he doesn’t hear your reply. he’s about to take his phone out to call you, but is stopped once the lights suddenly turn on.
he covers his eyes as he tries to adjust to the brightness as loud pops suddenly filled his ears. moving his hands from his eyes, he is then met face to face with you holding a birthday cake along with the rest of his friends. confetti falls onto him as more party poppers were released.
“happy birthday joshua!”
his eyes widen in shock once he realizes what was going on. a wide smile covers his face as he looks behind you to see his friends holding confetti poppers as well as a large banner saying ‘happy birthday shua!’ on it. looking around, he realizes the rest of the apartment was decorated as well. he then looks at the cake you were holding in your hands.
“did you do this all for me?” joshua asks you in disbelief. you nod your head as you smile back at him “of course i did! why wouldn’t i?”
joshua just shakes his head though, the smile never leaving his face “i totally forgot it was even my birthday today”
his friends just laugh at his reply as one of them points towards you “you should thank y/n! they were the one to plan all of this!” he looks back at you as you turn your head away from him sheepishly “did you really plan all of this for me?”
you nod your head shyly as you feel his gaze now on you “i mean… yeah… it’s really not that big of deal…”
somehow, the smile on his joshua’s face grew ten times bigger. he leans down and gives you kiss on the top of your head “thank you y/n, it truly means the world to me”
shaking your head though, you look at him with a soft smile on your face “i just wanted to show you just how much i loved you since you do it to me all the time” you reply back, causing joshua to laugh in response.
“you don’t have to do anything - i already know how much you love me.”

Due to the prominent military accomplishments you have made as the highest ranking general, by orders of the Empress, you are arranged to be married to the second-eldest prince, Yoon Jeonghan. Only one problem lies between you two: your reputation as a ruthless killing machine, which scares the living daylights out of your new husband.

The brothel is especially crowded today, both in customers and the women. The atmosphere is bustling with excitement and laughter as drinks are being passed around. The music lifts the mood, providing more entertainment for the drunken males as they chat amongst themselves.
Unfortunately for them, however, most of the ladies are rushing to the center of the main floor to get a glimpse of Prince Jeonghan—who’s preparing a special performance. While it’s not rare for him to make an appearance, there are few occasions for him to perform.
He openly gets undressed from his royal robes, which are made of the finest silks, down to his undergarments. Underneath the bright pastels is nothing but pure white. His skin shines against the sunlight that pours in from the balcony and it highlights his facial features.
A woman gushes from the sidelines. “Oh, gosh. I’ve only heard of how pretty he is, but now that I’ve seen him in person…” She covers the bottom half of her face with her fan in shyness as her words trail off. “I don’t think I could ever recover.”
“His fingers are so delicate,” another whispers, almost fearful of the Prince overhearing her.
“Forget his hands!” A woman nudges her, shaking her fan towards his figure. “Just look at those lips. They’re absolutely perfect.”
Another sighs in content of the view. “His jawline was sculpted by a greater divinity. That divinity wanted us to worship that jawline.”
“That jawline is meant to cut diamonds, not just worshipping.”
At a separate table, a few feet away from the balcony and the crowd of women, there sits three men—friends of the Prince. Upon hearing these comments makes Seokmin gag from his seated position, so much that he leans over and pretends to retch under the table. Soonyoung’s face wrinkles in disgust at the sounds and Seungkwan simply looks away, fanning himself.
“My Prince,” Seungkwan calls out. “To what is the aim of all this?”
Prince Jeonghan smirks to himself as he pulls on the shabby, bright red robes. He has been adorned in much more expensive fabrics—with much better quality, bound to last for centuries—and yet, every once in a while, he lowers himself down (as his mother likes to put it) to connect with the common folks. It might be demeaning for others, but, for him, it’s a chance to express himself, his talents, and his abilities to show his connections with the citizens.
But of course, he is deemed as nothing more than a shallow prince.
The Prince swallows, almost as if to push down the brief moment of sadness, before he turns to the trio. He raises his smirk higher, much more smug than before. “Attention, I suppose.”
Seungkwan’s jaw drops slightly from the audacity of the Prince. However, while disappointed, the man cannot say he is surprised.
Seokmin simply rolls his eyes, but doesn’t respond—knowing it’s smarter not to bite at the hands of the Prince. Considering how long they’ve all known one another, Prince Jeonghan’s words are the ones that bite the hardest.
However, Soonyoung never learns his lesson. He shakes his head at the Prince’s words, before pouring another drink for himself. “My Prince, I must say that the cheap fabrics oddly suit you.”
Seungkwan nearly chokes on his spit at the words, holding his fan between him and Soonyoung. “You shouldn’t say that,” he says, without bothering to be quiet. “You’re only going to feed his ego more.”
The Prince raises his hand, as if to playfully hit him with his own decorated fan—a similar shade of red that matches his robe. “You’re one to say, considering how often you provide more compliments for yourself rather than receiving them from others.”
Before the latter can respond, Prince Jeonghan makes his way through the tables and towards the front, where there is an open stage awaiting for him. He makes his place in the center, in the middle of a rose pile that is swept across the floor, where he sits elegantly.
The wind begins to blow softly, enough to swirl the petals around him—with the additional cherry blossoms flowing from the open balcony and into the room. The band immediately begins, playing a soft melody to calm the hearts of all within close proximity.
His body begins to move with the music, as if he were part of the winds that drift in the air. The balance and poise his body demonstrates would leave the female dancers envious had it not been the fact that they were too busy admiring his beauty. He is more than calm and collected—but still manages to display elegance and sentiment.
There’s a collection of satisfied sighs that can be heard from the ladies as he loses himself to the music. With moments like this, he forgets it all: the royal status, the scrutiny—he just becomes another mere dancer with talents of his own.
As the last note is held, he bends down and folds himself towards the ground as if to thank his audience. Applause fills the air and the ladies begin to throw their handkerchiefs to the stage.
“Absolutely beautiful!”
“Spectacular, my Prince!”
“A man of many talents, Prince Jeonghan!”
Their praises continue to fill his ears as he steps down, making his way back towards his table—where the trio greets him with a standing ovation and slow claps to applaud the Prince and his talents.
“But, of course,” Soonyoung says. “What else did we expect from our Prince himself?”
“What he means to say,” Seokmin intervenes. “Was that it was a wonderful dance, as per usual, my Prince.”
They take their seats again, making more toasts and snacking on the plates presented on their table. Their conversation is interrupted by the brothel’s owner, who comes with more women and numerous plates full of food and drinks that only one can imagine.
“Prince Jeonghan,” she says with a bow. “Thank you for visiting our humble brothel. I can only gift you with my ladies and food to fill your stomach.”
“That is more than enough,” Prince Jeonghan says. “Thank you for allowing me to dance.”
“It’s our honor, my Prince.” She gives another bow of her head, giving time for the women to set up the additional food and drinks, before making herself scarce.
Prince Jeonghan turns his attention back to the table, making more toasts with the trio and engaging with the conversation once more—allowing the rowdy setting to activate again.
However, a snicker from a few tables away catches the ears of the Prince. A few men, clearly in a more drunken state that is less than appropriate given the time of day, entertain themselves with rather reckless comments in front of royalty.
“Can you believe,” one begins to speak, “that he is a prince of our country? My chickens set a better example of leadership than that frilly pansy.”
The other man hums, only to let out a small burp as he opens his mouth. “If he were to run the country, we would be in ruins.”
“That’s why he’s only a mere prince,” another responds. “Prince Jonghyun is the only one who will successfully obtain the kingdom and there shall be no worries.”
“Well,” the second man replies. “Prince Seungcheol is another option. Either one is a good choice. I wouldn’t mind being under Prince Minhyun’s rule either.”
“Prince Jeonghan is more of collateral damage,” the first man hiccups. “A worse case scenario, if you will.”
The Prince frowns underneath his cup as he takes another sip of his alcohol, but doesn’t say anything. While knowing some part of it is true, it doesn’t mean it hurts any less. His train of thought is interrupted as a familiar face noisily enters the room.
He stands. “Chan!”
The young boy looks a bit startled, but relieved to see the Prince. “My Prince!” He quickly makes his way over to the table of recognizable faces. “My Lords,” he says, bowing his head to greet the others. He turns back to the main man. “Prince Jeonghan, I have urgent news from the palace.”
“Chan,” Soonyoung says. “Would you like some water first?”
“Yes, have some first,” Seokmin adds. “You look like you ran from the palace itself.”
There’s a moment of silence as Chan catches his breath, silently accepting the glass Seungkwan presents to him. After swallowing large gulps from the glass, he wipes his mouth and practically slams the glass back on the table.
Seungkwan clears his throat. “Chan, you may now proceed with the news.”
Chan gives him a look, almost amused as to how Seungkwan presents himself as above him—even in the presence of royalty. With a shake of his head, he chooses to ignore him. “Prince Jeonghan, your mother has requested your presence.”
The Prince frowns. “Why is that?”
“Because you’re to be wed in a week.”
All chatter dies—from the ladies in the arms of others to the actual guests themselves. The trio has frozen, unsure as to what it was exactly that they had heard. A pin has been dropped.
“Come again?” The Prince asks. “I am to be what in when?”
Meanwhile, the trio seems to have come to their senses, as they all stand in unison.
“To who?”
Chan seems more nervous at the question, now that he has the full attention of everyone in the room. “I know it is out of my place, my Prince, but I believe you should discuss this with your mother. I’m unsure as to whether I am authorized to disclose this information, considering the conditions we are currently in.”
There’s another moment of silence with the eyes of many silently pushing the young boy to release the new gossip of the week. If he’s already stirred the pot, what’s wrong with letting it boil over a little?
“I’ll pardon you if my family threatens to behead you,” Prince Jeonghan offers. At the sight of Chan’s pale face at the mention of capital punishment, he immediately rushes to fix his own words. “Although, I highly doubt it would extend that far.”
Glancing around, Chan hesitantly steps closer, only to be pulled into the small circle. Their heads join together—however, all of their eyes are locked on him, along with the ears of those still within the brothel.
“According to my sources,” he whispers. “I hear Prince Jeonghan is to be wed to…”
“Oh, to who?!” Seungkwan bursts.
Soonyoung pulls him back in.
Chan’s voice gets smaller. “To General (Y/L/N).”
“THE GENERAL?!” Seokmin shrieks.
With that, the guests partake in their chitchat once more. The second prince is to be wed to the General? There were some rumors of the General being female, but were they true? What is to be of the military, nevertheless of the royal family? Will Prince Jeonghan end up destroying his family line? There were also rumors from the palace maids themselves who said he often had trouble… performing—despite his many whores who are now palace concubines.
The trio seems to have already processed this information—moving on to try and find some rationale as to why or what it was that led to this. Meanwhile, Prince Jeonghan has personally felt as if his soul has been sold to the literal devil. He has officially become a shell of a man.
Should he feel betrayed by his family? Or angry at the thought of being wed to someone he doesn’t know?
“Isn’t the General a man?” Soonyoung asks. He turns to Chan. “How could they let the second prince marry a man?!”
Chan can only open his mouth, attempting to provide some response to the lord.
“I think the bigger question is whether or not the General is even part of the human species,” Seungkwan slyly comments. “Do you know how many people he’s killed? He’s literally called the Devil from all the bodies he’s collected on the battlefield.”
“Not just the battlefield,” Seokmin adds. “My father told me that they executed one of their own soldiers with a whip, which had been personalized with blades.” He shudders at the thought. “I’m glad he’s our general rather than another’s. Can you imagine the horror?”
With his words, the trio slowly turn their attention back to Prince Jeonghan, who looks as white as a ghost—sheer horror apparent on his face as the news officially sunk in.
Chan takes a step forward, lightly tugging on the Prince’s robes. “Prince Jeonghan?”
There’s no response.
“I’ve been ordered by your mother to bring you back to the palace. There’s a carriage outside waiting for you.” He turns to the trio. “I shall head back downstairs to wait for him as he changes.”
He bows in respect to the trio and the Prince before making his exit—not before taking another glance at the Prince, gauging in the royal’s response once more.
It’s not until after the young messenger boy has left that Prince Jeonghan eventually comes back to his senses. Although, it did take a good few minutes for the information to be fully processed.
The guests are still chatting away at the news and he can feel their eyes on him more than ever. He preferred their scrutiny rather than their overcurious eyes that want nothing more than to pry him in his most vulnerable state.
He’s starting to feel sick. His legs can no longer support him and he can feel himself collapsing onto the table. He turns back to the trio with eyes filled with fear and apprehension. Surely, his mother can do something, right?
“Your highness,” Eunuch Gok calls from outside the doors. “Prince Yoon has arrived.”
The words hit the ears of all those within the room, with the maids and other servants sharing knowing glances towards one another—but none of them dare to stop themselves from completing their tasks.
In the center of it all, the Princess Dowager sighs, feeling the exhaustion hit once more at the mention of her son. With a wave of her hand, she dismisses the maid by her side. “Bring him in.”
“Yes, your highness.”
The maids scurry, almost scrambling to move out of the way for the storm that’s about to hit—positioning themselves to form a line behind her highness.
It’s not even a second after that the Prince bursts through the doors.
“Mother!”
She doesn’t flinch, feeling rather familiar with her son’s dramatics. “Greetings first, Jeonghan. Manners make a man.”
He makes a face, but still bows to her with his head lowered. “Greetings, mother.” He stands up straight, immediately dropping the polite act. “What is this I hear about marriage?”
The Princess Dowager slowly picks up her teacup, taking a slow sip from it. The Prince, however, is still feeling antsy at the news.
With each second passing, the dread of this ill-fated marriage is getting more and more realistic. His foot taps impatiently on the expensive rug that decorates the room.
“Mother?” he calls. “Please say something.”
She places the cup back on the plate and signals the dismissal of her maids. They quietly make their exit, shutting the doors tightly behind them as they all leave the royals to their personal business.
“Mother!”
She immediately shushes him with a finger to his lips, pulling him closer to her. He’s practically on his knees, knees knocking against the brightly painted chair—only to kneel at her feet as if she has the answers to his prayers.
“Keep your voice down!” she whispers. “You know how much the servants like to gossip and, if they are to see your panic, they will not hesitate to share this information with the others!”
“I thought you had good relations with Dowager Choi and Dowager Hong.”
“I do, but it would make for awkward talks if they were to find out through the servants’ gossip.”
The Prince doesn’t understand the point of it all, but, when does he ever understand royal relations?
He shakes his head, almost as if to physically clear his head of his lingering questions. “Mother, we’re getting off topic.”
“Right,” she says. She grabs her son’s hands tightly, afraid to know what would happen if she were to let go. “Jeonghan, the Empress is the one who decided to wed you to the General.”
“The Empress?”
“Yes, the Empress.”
This implies she has no power—no say—in what is to happen afterwards. His shoulders slump from the little faith that he had of being saved: all hope has been lost.
Prince Jeonghan tries to think. Why would the Empress do this? What’s the grand scheme of things? How is this supposed to benefit the royals? Is this for military security? But, with that, comes the risk of further damage to the reputation of the royals—were they really going to risk that?
“Jeonghan—”
He snaps out of his thoughts.
“You must listen very carefully and you may not disclose this information to anyone.” She paused. “At least, not yet.”
“Yes, mother.”
“It seems that the General is a woman.”
He couldn’t stop himself from the question that slips. “Are you sure?”
His mother’s hesitancy doesn’t help the building nerves.
“Mother?”
“Well,” she says. “That’s what the General has disclosed.”
“Huh?”
“The details don’t matter,” she says. “I have limited information based on what the Empress’ servants know and what my servants have heard.” She tries to think. “Just know you are to be wed in a week once the General arrives. There will be a parade in his—her? Their?” She shakes her head. “There will be a parade in the honor of the General, followed by a celebration amongst the surviving soldiers, and the wedding will commence after.”
The Prince’s head is running with a million questions, yet his mother hasn’t answered any of them.
He sighs—the grip tightening on his mother’s hand. “Is there anything you can do?”
“My son, I’m afraid there’s nothing I can do.” She lifts her hand, softly caressing his face. “Had your father been alive, I would have more power.”
Prince Jeonghan fully sinks onto the floor—hands fallen down onto the rug and he ends up running his fingers on it, to distract himself of the current situation.
“Well, what happens now then, mother?”
The Princess Dowager sighs once more, softly petting her son’s head to comfort him. “Now, we wait.”
The dreaded week passes and Prince Jeonghan finds himself at the brothel once again—but this time, he’s alone. Well, alone as royalty can be. With a few guards outside the door, he sits in an isolated room with a sole glass in hand. The third floor’s open balcony provides fresh air, which is much needed regarding the stuffiness he feels from within.
The Prince lets out a heavy sigh, pouring another glass for himself and instantly drowning it down. Too much has happened throughout the week that it all felt like a blur. He’d felt as if he were a cow who knew when he would be shipped off to the slaughterhouse. Considering his current condition, he’d prefer to be an actual cow.
This so-called useless groom leans closer to the window, feeling the warm summer breeze shine on his skin. This is the closest to freedom he has been throughout the past week. And probably the last time he’ll feel this way.
As the matriarchs from his side of the family prioritized the wedding details, he’s been used and tossed aside as if he was some type of doll—due to his “uselessness as the groom” (as one of the officials had commented). The palace servants have been bombarding him with this-and-that—from fabrics for the royal attendees to menus as for what shall be served and down to the details of the cloth napkins. If the Prince is presented with another royal blue shade, he’s going to flip a table.
With the Prince’s internal struggle three flights above ground, below is where the peasants are rushing to prepare for the General’s return—flags are waved and flowers are prepped. The children are excited, playing amongst themselves, while the adults gather together to catch up and converse with one another.
“Have you heard the news?”
The Prince’s ears pick up on the conversation. Picking up a fan, he covers the lower half of his face as he leans out the window, despite how little it actually does to disguise his face.
“The General completely obliterated the Chinese army—killed their general and their second-in-command barely managed to escape.”
“Didn’t he meet his end as well?”
There’s a staggered huff before the person responds.
“Considering how the General is practically inhumane with his killings, I wouldn’t be surprised if the body count was higher.”
“I would fear for my life had I faced the General on the battlefield.”
“Or in person.”
There’s a snicker.
“Well, you do have to acknowledge his skills.”
“The General is titled as a general for a reason.”
“Yes, this is a joyous occasion. We must celebrate Korea’s success!”
They skip off into oblivion that the Prince can only imagine. It’s in this case that the peasants are living in the luxury that the royal yearns for once more. To the commoners, their hero was to return home—whereas Prince Jeonghan’s hell begins with the General’s arrival.
Speak of the devil and he shall appear. The beat of the drums is faint and distant, but still present. Everyone scrambles as the sound of galloping horses by the hundreds approaches closer and closer towards the gates. Even the Prince is flustered, the sudden arrival of his fiancee prompting him to scatter and flee out of his private room.
“My Prince!” A guard calls, chasing after him.
“My Prince,” another yells. “Why are you running?!”
“To escape my problems!”
“At least use the carriage, my Prince!”
“No!”
The Prince runs, passing by various groups of guests and their companions—practically jumping down the numerous flights of stairs and nearly diving into groups of strangers as he makes his way out of the brothel.
Meanwhile, the street has been cleared to create a path for the most distinguished general of Korea. Rose petals have been prepared and spread throughout, creating colorful layers to welcome the heroes back home. The flags are up, flapping against the wind and shining its beautiful colors in the bright, warm sunshine. The horses are approaching much closer—leading to much excitement with the townspeople.
At the main gates, you rest on your horse, pulling its reins to stop its tracks. Your army follows afterwards—Dongho, Jisoo, and Namjoo behind you. For a moment, everything is still. The blue fabric blows lightly against the wind, in contrast to the shiny black armor that remains tightly wound on your body.
With your approach (and a glimpse of the signature colors of the flag and your armor), the head guards open the main gates to allow your entry. You and your army make its way through the gates, eventually moving past the countryside and closer to the capital.
A shower of petals greets you and you have to hold back a smile at the sight. The townspeople are greeting you with shouts of greetings and praises, tossing grains as you and your army pass as a congratulations and welcome back home. With your head held high, you lead your way through the flowery path laid out for your army and head towards the palace, where you know your punishment awaits.
As you move throughout the town, your men quickly navigate their ways back to their respective homes—their families, wives, children, and whatnot. Even Dongho makes his way back home (saying something about setting back into his hut for tranquility and peace).
You know you should pop in to check with your grandfather, but you have more pressing matters on your hands. It is the King after all.
The nerves start to get to you as you approach the palace gates, leaving you with Namjoo and Jisoo at your side once more. Your jaw clenches: the threats of a beheading are becoming more and more realistic as you make your way past the palace guards. The anxiety must have been obvious to have the paternal twins notice.
“General,” Namjoo softly calls from her horse. “After what you have contributed, you have nothing to fear.”
You nod, trying to convince yourself that it will not be as bad as it can be. She’s right: you have many accomplishments and the aftermath of a war can easily lead to another. They need you. The worst case scenario is the death penalty…
… And the dread has returned.
“I know it’s a lot to process,” Jisoo says. “But, we’re right here besides you.” She holds out her hand, which you take and hold onto. “Through thick and thin.”
“Through thick and thin,” you repeat.
The hand isn’t dropped until you can make out the stairs of the main court, where the King is seated outside—awaiting for your return.
You pull on the reins; your horse whining a bit, eventually calming down as you shush him. You and your guards climb your way down your horses, walking towards the Emperor to properly greet him. On the third step, you kneel on your knee (followed by Jisoo and Namjoo) and bow your head down.
“Greeting to your majesty.”
“Accepted,” the King says. “Welcome home, General (Y/L/N).”
“Thank you, your majesty.”
“Congratulations on your victory.”
“Thank you, your majesty.”
“On that note,” the King says. “Let us get straight to business.” He stands up, his hands folded behind him, and walks through the open doors, where the throne is present.
Without a word, you three follow him into the court—keeping a safe distance. The King makes himself comfortable on the throne and you keep your head low, awaiting for his decision to be made… or announced. You’re still unsure as to where this is all going.
A moment of silence passes and he speaks once more.
“I have kept the court calm for now,” he says. “However, as some of the officials are still upset, we have come to a decision for your… announcement.”
Your heart stops with each second he pauses, unaware of the chaos about to be unloaded onto you.
“You are to be wed to my second-nephew, Yoon Jeonghan.” There’s a pause. “Consider it a gift from the royal family, who is forever in your debt for your military contributions.”
You feel your heart actually dropping to your stomach. Your eyes are the only indicator of your internal panic, considering how they move around—unsure as to where they go.
“Thank you, your majesty,” you manage to say. “I will forever remember your generosity for my crime.”
He holds up a hand, stopping you. “You have to remember that with this generosity, it is also your punishment.”
“Pardon, your majesty?”
There’s a sad smile on his face—a look that was similar to your father’s. “It’s generous for your deception, but it is still a punishment nevertheless. While he may be my nephew, I’m afraid he’s rather useless.” He sucks in a breath, trying to pick his next words carefully. “Your punishment is a pretty, but useless husband.”
Your confusion is still apparent, considering how the King continues to speak—helping you understand the reasoning behind the court’s logic.
“(Y/N),” he says.
You freeze at the use of your first name.
“You are the most distinguished general of our time, but you are still a woman. You have to be wed, especially at your age. Consider the repercussions had this happened at a later age.”
You hear him make his way down, but you don’t dare to look up.
He places a hand on your shoulder. “This is a good thing, (Y/N).”
Yes, you think to yourself.
This is a good thing.

wc; 2.9k
a/n: lots of you asked, and so you shall receive. ps, i wrote this really rushed but i kinda love it. lmk what you think, love you guys <3
[V LIVE] Surprise LIVE!
the v-live notification. or, more accurately, the sound of war. alternatively, you dance around your studio on a livestream and yoongi has a mental breakdown.
masterlist PREV
“i miss you too!“ you say, replying to one of the first comments that pop up on the live.
you probably should’ve showered before going live... and you probably should’ve changed out of sweats.
whatever.
it’s not like your fans haven’t seen this before.
half of your pre-debut pictures are just downright disgusting.
the number of viewers on the top of your phone begins to climb up to the thousands, increasing every half a second.
it always amazes you how many people show up to your lives. sometimes you wonder if your fans genuinely have nothing better to do. how do they always show up so fast?
the comments begin to flood with greetings and exclamations of ‘oh my god i’m so early!11!1’ and the multicoloured heart pop up on your screen, building up an impressive stream of likes.
“where am i?“ you read through the comments and look around, as if you forgot where you were. “in the studio.“ you grin when the comments flood with questions asking if dreamcloud is getting new music.
you can’t answer, of course, but it’s fun to see. you squint at your phone, which is propped on an elaborate setup that you spent the past twenty minutes preparing.
(three books on one eyeshadow palette and a selfie stick gingerly placed on a small stool)
((you pray to every deity out there that it won’t fall))
“i was just bored,“ you shrug, speaking to the screen. “so i decided to come on here and talk to you guys. how have you been?“ you ask.
hundreds of comments answer.
“i’m alright“
“i’m good!“
most of them contain some form of sappy declaration like ‘my day is much better now that you’re here!’ it makes you smile. how cute.
the v-live notification.
or, more accurately, the sound of war.
that cursed, terrible ding! haunts yoongi’s darkest and most terrifying nightmares. the sheer amount of panic that rushes through his veins when he hears that godforsaken noise, god.
the number of lives he’s missed- yoongi can’t even bear to think about it.
so maybe it was a blessing in disguise that yoongi put his phone on do not disturb so he didn’t have to hear that disgusting sound. instead, he found out the news via a gorilla’s screech.
“Y/N’S LIVE RIGHT NOW STARTED FOURTY SECONDS AGO HURRY UP YOONGI GET YOUR ASS UP AND STOP STUDYI-“ jimin yells from his room down the hall.
yoongi almost falls out of his chair scrambling to get to his phone. it’s not like he was really studying anyways- more like using his pencils to tap out a cool-sounding beat on his desk out of boredom.
watching your live > passing his music theory class.
priorities.
with shaky hands, he grabs at his phone, slumping onto the floor and he sees the familiar blue icon with the notification popped up on the screen.
[V LIVE] Surprise LIVE! Y/N: let’s chat <3
an unnatural squeak that slightly resembles the sound a mouse slips out of yoongi’s mouth.
even when he was a baby starrie and was glued to his phone at all times, he’s never been this early to a live. he unlocks his phone, cursing his momentary clumsiness. he clicks into the live, smiling when your beaming face blasts up on his screen.
you haven’t gone live in so long- it’s nice to see your face again.
“- how have you been?“
“good.“ yoongi types out in the comment box, mumbling the words as he’s typing. “way better now that you’re live.“ sometimes yoongi cringes at himself when he types these things. i mean, who could possibly guess that min yoongi, resident scary-emo-couldslapyouintheface bad boy socially un-responsible simped over a k-pop idol?
he can already see his reputation go down the drain.
he also wonders what it says about himself that he’s a 20-something college student who’s life practically revolves around you, an idol who’s just about a year younger than him.
but dreamcloud is a part of his identity now. he identifies as a starrie no matter what. you know how the old saying goes-
once you stan, you can’t unstan. or something like that, he’s honestly not sure.
you tuck your head onto your hand, diligently trying to keep up with all the comment. with a gasp, you nod at something. “oh, you’re right, user yoonalova98!” - that’s another thing special about you. whenever you read out comments, you also read out the username of whoever wrote it.
you explained in one interview- that it’s cooler to give credit and talk to your fans as if you’re just chatting as friend. saying the username feels like you’re saying their names.
what kind of lucky fan would get their comment read aloud by Y/N?
ugh.
yoongi blinks when he remembers that technically, he’s sort of part of this group of elite, recognised fans.
his twitter stan account got almost five thousand more followers after Y/N replied to his selca. the post itself has tons and tons of likes and retweets.
insane, that Y/N- Y/N herself- knows of his existence. Y/N- the love of his life, has seen his FACE. she commented three HEART emojis below a selfie that he took.
if he thinks about it too much, he’ll start feeling faint again.
“our anniversary is coming up soon! i can’t believe it’s been three years already. time does pass by when you’re having fun.“ you say. yoongi thinks that it’s rather ironic that you would forget your anniversary, when yoongi’s had a calendar countdown to January 14th since the beginning of september.
“ahh,“ you say, leaning in closer to the screen. “from user lialiarach, ‘did you watch jisoo unnie’s acting debut’ - i did! we all watched it and cheered her on during the premiere!“
jisoo’s new drama is good. it’s a fantasy-horror blend, and he, jimin, namjoon and jin finished all 16 episodes in two days when streaming hit Netflix.
your head tilts and you smile. “song recommendations?” you wonder aloud, and yoongi scrambles to get a pen and notepad out. you don’t do ‘y/n’s listening parties’ as much anymore, but your taste in music is impeccable and he collects all the songs in a playlist.
it’s called ‘wedding tunes’ (jimin named it, not him, yoongi swears)
everytime he tries to change it back, it somehow switches back to wedding tunes the next day.
it’s disturbing how good jimin is at this kind of stuff. hopefully yoongi won’t have to bail him out of jail one day.
“okay!“ you say, pulling your laptop open. you hum as you scroll through some page that yoongi can’t see- and he anxiously waits for the first song to be played with twitchy hands and a strong grip on his pen.
the first bar plays out and yoongi’s already in love.
“this is,“ you say over the music, double checking just to make sure. “don’t need your love by NCT...“ you squint. god knows there are too many NCT members. “dream! NCT dream featuring HRVY.“
“NCT dream...“ yoongi mumbles to himself, writing the song down on the notepad.
“you know,“ you say over the music, spinning in your chair and nodding to the beat. “i’ve only met the NCT guys a couple times at music shows and such but they’re all so nice. i can’t remember all their names, but i’m decently familiar with their faces. how do they even have 23 members? how does it all work??“
you dance around the studio, singing along nonsensical lyrics that don’t make sense but sort of fit the rhythm of the song (??)
“don’t need your loo-ooove-!!! dum dum duhhhh duhros noya!!!” yoongi stifles a laugh. there’s a reason why you constantly forget lyrics on stage.
which is quite ironic, actually, because half the time you’re forgetting the lyrics to a song you wrote yourself.
afterwards, you play all the hidden gems- and yoongi’s proud to say he’s familiar with quite a few of them.
airplane by j-hope (a youtube star turned successful rapper-vocalist-dancer)
sweet night by v (the internet’s resident eye-candy)
and then you continue to scroll through your laptop, biting your lip and murmuring quietly to yourself. you glance once back at your phone screen.
okay, listen.
yoongi knows that he’s delusional, okay?
but everytime you look straight in the screen it’s almost like you’re looking directly at the camera it’s almost like you’re staring into his soul. which makes zero sense, but it still makes his heart skip a beat.
let him dream, please
“what am i scrolling through?“ you say, reciting a question from the chat. “soundcloud, user chachachae.“
soundcloud?
oh.
that’s pretty cool.
he didn’t know you had a soundcloud account!
you usually post all your covers and random shorts to instagram or another one of your personal blogs.
for a moment, yoongi indulges himself by wondering if you’d ever listened to his music. his soundcloud account is linked in his twitter bio, after all...
but he shakes those thoughts away as fast as they came. he doesn’t need to entertain himself with such silly thoughts.
“ooh, this one’s good!“ you say, clicking onto something.
still with you by JAYKAY (pffftt haihdkahjd) starts playing and you lean back, humming along. yoongi knows this one too!! now he’s 3 for 3!! he and you do share a similar taste in music, so maybe it does make sense.
even though you’re actually main vocalist and lead dancer, you do listen to a lot of rap music. but the music you make is nothing like the old school hip hop tracks that yoongi is partial to.
the music you make- how can he explain it?
sweet like honey with a little bit of tang.
like barbecue honey!!!!
ok that was a bad analogy.
all of his favourite dreamcloud tracks are written by you- cloud nine, up in the sky, are u still here, quicksand- the list goes on and on and on.
it’s like listening to your voice solves anything he goes against. bad day? dreamcloud. something to celebrate? blast your debut song. in need of a party song? easy fix. he gets aux cord rights? (granted, this doesn’t happen very often, since seokjin insists that his music taste is superior to his friends.) but anyways, y/n can fix it.
listening to your voice feels comforting. it invokes something in him that he honestly cannot explain with words. you’re his inspiration. not just in music- but in life. he admires how you’re able to smile through anything, how you take responsibility for your own actions.
he admires your kind heart, which offers generosity and forgiveness to even the most underserving people.
he admires your passion, for music, for your members, for the smallest things. he admires how you’ll love everyone and anyone.
even though he’s never really met you, he feels like he knows you. he wishes he could, anyways. he wants to thank the person who’s gotten him through such bad days.
yoongi curses himself again for being so delusional.
he keeps telling himself that he can’t get so attached. then he’ll end up like one of those creepy fans who are convinced their idols actually like them.
blech.
“okay, next song!“ you exclaim cheerfully. “i really like this one, guys. he’s this soundcloud star. he makes really cool music.“ yoongi readies his pen. if this person really is a soundcloud star, then there’s a high chance yoongi knows of him. a smaller chance that he actually knows the guy personally; either online or from real life.
you press the space bar almost obnoxiously, like you’re about to reveal something grand. you look into the camera, and you lock eyes with yoongi- through that cursed, horrible screen.
the first note plays and yoongi thinks that it sounds... oddly familiar, actually. for a moment, he sighs in disappointment. this one doesn’t sound as great as the previous few songs. almost like it’s incomplete, imperfect. something about it bugs him at the very bottom of his gut.
jimin figures it out before he does.
“AHHHHHHHHH YOONGI!!! OH MY GOD-!!!! YOONGI ARE YOU SEEING THIS? YOONGI!! HYUNG!“ yoongi grumbles, wondering what the hell jimin is screeching about now.
“oh, for fuck’s sake,“ he mumbles. the difference between him and jimin is the way they express their emotions. while yoongi bottles it all up, choosing to deal with things alone and slump around, jimin has no other choice but to scream things out. it’s a wonder they’re such good friends, really. “what is it now?“ yoongi mutters to himself.
“yeah yeah, a gentle breeze- “ and then it hits him. all at once.
“holy fucking shit.“ he whispers to himself, slumping down on the floor. he can barely hear what you say next.
“this song is called people by agust d. he goes by the name suga on social media-!“ yoongi falls down, gasping for air. “i’m a fan,“ you remark casually. “mr. suga producer-nim!! i’m your fan! please continue to make good music!“ you chuckle. “what am i doing right now? he probably isn’t even watching.“ you stare innocently at the phone camera, as if you don’t even know that you’re changing someone’s life right now.
out of his peripheral vision, he can see jimin rushing into the room, crouching next to him and placing a hand on his back, murmuring something yoongi can’t hear through the sound of his sobs.
huh. when did he even start crying?
“he makes rap and really cool hip hop music. you guys should give him a listen. his lyrics are really meaningful, too.“ you nod along, reciting the lyrics word for word- even though you really can’t rap.
“what kind of person am I? am I a good person? or a bad person? many of ways to judge just a person. everyone will live on, everyone will love, everyone will fade away“ you headbang along to the beat.
yoongi slides down the wall inch by inch. he wonders if he’ll faint or vomit first.
other people seem to make fun of people like him- people who find solace in idols, in music. that’s partially why he doesn’t like disclosing the fact that he’s a diehard fan of an idol girl group.
but in hindsight, that’s so stupid. who gives two fucks about his interests? hell, yoongi’s been depressed half his life. and if a group of girls who sing songs and perform make him feel better, what’s so wrong with that?
jimin’s voice is a little clearer now, and so is yours. you’re singing along to the lyrics- the lyrics that he wrote. the lyrics that he spent hours agonising over, wondering whether his shortcomings and anxiety in his life were worth posting on the internet for his measly following to see.
wondering if the music he made had any impact at all, if one day he might see his dream come true, to see his music being played in public. wondering if anyone might hear his songs and think that it helped them get over a bad day. just like you have for him.
yoongi’s sobs wrack through his body, tears flowing freely on his face. he’s crying hard. ugly crying, like a baby throwing a temper tantrum. his cries echo through the room. if he could see himself right now...
well, he doesn’t want to think about it. he’s sure it’s not a pretty view.
jimin looks over him, smiling proudly. his eyes are glassy, and he tucks yoongi’s head in his chest, putting his arms around him and embracing him.
yoongi’s shoulders shake. if it was any other day, he would usher jimin out the room. he hates it when people see him being vulnerable. even his own family hasn’t seen him cry that much.
but right now, he can’t bring himself to do anything but cry. other people may ask why this is such a big deal, why someone emotionally constipated like min yoongi would cry like this for such a small matter.
this, he doesn’t know how to explain either.
all he can think about is how much it means to him. that someone he admires so much is now, in turn, saying his music- no, his life- is good. nothing much else. but just knowing that you’ve listened to his work, that you know of his alter ego’s name...
his crying sounds grow larger.
jimin pets at his hair. “shh,” he murmurs. “it’s okay.” jimin’s voice also grows a little shaky. he tears up, but continues to comfort the crying boy in his arms. “you did it, hyung. it’s okay. you made it. you did it. why are you crying? this is good news! this is so great! i’m proud of you, we’re all so proud of you.”
yoongi tries to speak; it doesn’t go very well. but when he tries again, he manages to choke something out.
“i did it.“ he says, before burying his face back into jimin’s hug. the two boys sit on the ground, crying together. an hour passes, then two.
slowly, yoongi drifts off to bed on the ground, the melody of his own song blended with sound of your voice echoing in his head.
my ordinary became your special, my special became your ordinary. so what? what if you just brush by? what if you get hurt? sometimes you might get hurt again, sometimes you might shed tears. so what? so what if you live like that?

a/n: this is the longest writing piece i’ve written yet on this blog and it’s inspired by a disney movie?! behold geek charming starring mark lee. your local film club nerd entering the school’s prissy princess’s life but did that make her finally turn back from her arogant ways or did it make her more of a bitch!! >_< i’m actually so happy

"I'm proud to announce this year's Annual Yonsei Spring Formal Queen Kang-"
"Hello? Y/n? Snap out of it." Your train of thought quickly crashed as you direct your attention to the student body president, Kim Doyoung. "Y-Yes?" You ask, straightening your posture. "I asked if you are applying for Spring Formal Queen?" He put a question to, waiting for a response. Viewing as you turn to Sooyoung, who delivers you a pen, jerking it out her hand, you grab the clipboard from the plastic table in front of you, signing your signature on to the paper. Making sure your sign was large enough to cover most slots of the page.
"Toodles," You sang to Doyoung before you and the girls walk away. “Next!”

The three of you strut down the narrow hallway, Sooyoung and Yuna trailing behind you, "This year is going to be our year ladies," you look over on both sides to see them smiling wide grins enveloping onto their lips, as they stopped to walk at your pace, "Once I'm crowned Queen of the Spring Formal, it's guaranteed I'm the well-liked, prettiest and just overall the best here at Yonsei," you finish halting your steps at the door frame of the cafeteria. Looking over your shoulder, you make a gagging motion with your finger to the pack of hungry students. In front of you three, you decide to walk through the tables showing the two lingering behind how you'd win the students' heart if you already haven't.
Walking by a table with miniature stage set-ups, you see three students huddled together revising a script "Drama kids," You start "They'll be an easy vote seeing how they just adore my dramatic gestures," Making your way down a couple more tables "Film club nerds..." You start to roll your eyes coming up with a reason why they would vote for you. "You're like a movie star to them," Sooyoung quickly interjected watching as your flip your head to pose.
You stride down some more, "I can't believe you used to be friends with Shin Ryunjin." Yuna throws in as you walk by the stage crew table. "I know right," Sooyoung agrees. "It's a burden I carry, but at least I traded up to you two." You say earning beaming smiles on both sides.
"Y/n!" Someone called, skipping happily towards you. It was Jisoo. "I got bangs since you said they would suit me! I couldn't agree more, thanks!" She beams, "Of course, just want the best for you!" You smile, reciprocating the energy she gave off until she walks off to her friends. "See? People know I care. This will be a piece of cake." You said before stopping in your tracks to see, Jung Wonyoung; your biggest competition at Yonsei Academy. Yuna and Sooyoung see you as someone superior to them (right?). As a higher-ranked princess here at Yonsei you shouldn't let such a wretched thing like Jung Wonyoung get to you, especially with that tacky head-band she decided to pair with her uniform. But what good candidate for Spring Formal Queen would you be without a little competition, winning was a given but winning unopposed is an embarrassment. The girls notice your stink-eye towards the table and rather than letting yourself get angered in front of your girls, you oppose chatting in the most unaffected way you could muster up. "Whatever, we all understand who's gonna be crowned Queen, why let someone who pairs blue polka-dot headbands with navy plaid uniforms get in my way?" They hum in response as you two make your way to the popular table.
Yuna and Sooyoung took their seats in front of Jihoon, your lovely, amazing, perfect boyfriend, as you walked around to sit next to him. "Hi baby," He said, which sounded scripted but, you paid no attention to since he was your prince charming! His looks over-looking his flaws, you leave a small kiss on his cheek before digging into your meal.
You are finished your meal, getting up and walking to the bin to throw. On your way back you- BAM! Right on the chest, you are greeted with the expired milk the canteen provides having it spill all over your chest, drenched. "Ugh!" You cry, a boy in front of you with his lunch tray now on the floor, his hair scruffed up with a school-provided bow-tie. "You- You geek!" You bark as he is taken aback with his words, but he isn't afraid. "You are so gro-oss!" You shout emphasizing the word gross he's already tired of your shit and it hasn't even been a minute since your first encounter. Without hesitating he relates "Actually gross is one syllable-", "I don't care just go- just go read a book or something, you nerd!" You argue not wanting to hear what he has to say before marching away out the cafeteria.
The boy watches as you make your way out the commissary. He kicks his tray to the side, walking back to his table with a glint of annoyance struck onto him.
"Dark Victory of course. It stars Bette Davis, George Brent and most importantly Humphrey Bogart from Casablanca." Jungwoo said swiftly to the two geeks in front of him. Johnny, the only one of the three who could properly score a date with the popular kids started a debate on which film from the late 1930s to the early '50s was le Meilleur which is French for 'the best'. "Did you forget The Great Lie? Probably one of Bette Davis's only good films since she has co-starred with the one and only Mary Astor" He argues speedily. "Hello??" Nayeon says budding in between, "A Stolen Life will remain the best film from the 40s, 50s, and possibly forever I will and could go on about-", "Looks like Film Club's assistant president finally showed up," Johnny says cutting off whatever nonsense Nayeon probably had to add to their already ridiculous conversation. "Sorry, I got stuck in traffic with Yonsei's little princess," Mark says with an obvious eye-roll.
"Watch your words Markie," Jungwoo quickly told him. "Her dad-"
"Who funds 75% of the school!" Johnny added, Jungwoo turned to his side giving an annoyed stare before looking back in front of him to Mark. "Her dad who funds 75% of the school. Will ruin you if he gets notice of his daughter's uniform being spoiled with the cafeteria's milk from a film geek." He finishes sipping on his water. Nayeon turned to him, "He can get our club shut down within minutes Mark, watch how you talk to her."
"So what? Like they'll even come close to us." Mark scoffs, "They're like a whole new alien species." The two in front of them nod, but Nayeon is a little too distracted with the tuna sandwich her mom packed her. "You guys is it just me or is the tuna moving..." Nayeon says slapping Marks forearm softly to grab his, then everyone else's attention. Just before she did Mark's attention was already taken by something- or should I say someone else. "Hey Ryunjin," He quickly says waving towards the girl walking by towards the exit, she turns around to wave before heading out. That's where Johnny inquired, "Face it. You and Ryunjin" He brings his hands up and around to make an 'x' with it, "Never gonna happen." He says watching his shoulders sag slightly, "You've been crushing on her since what? 8th grade, and having numerous occasions to ask her out and not doing so. You missed your shot awhile back unless we had a time machine you and name are a no-go." He finished now invested in what Nayeon's sandwich was up to.
"I-I'd go out with you!" Nayeon says dropping the sandwich into Johnny's hands. "Look, I don't even have time for dating why would I even ask Ryunjin out? I'm cool with being known by her. Plus there's no way I'd do it now, the school board's Annual Film festival is only a little over a month away, I'm our school's candidate how do I mess up because I was distracted by some girl with purple highlights" He said flat-out ignoring Nayeon. "That's true," Johnny says leaning in, "And you are our school best shot at bringing home that huge ass trophy, what's the other prize again?" Jungwoo said agreeing before taking a bite of his pasta. "It's a summer getaway to a Hollywood film camp, I gotta win," Mark said signing the application forms he had in his pocket. "I'm supposed to be a cinematic genius, so what better to do than murder the competition and bring home a trophy after going on a getaway trip to Hollywood to better my knowledge I'm gonna be like the Frank Capra or Victor Fleming around here!"
Johnny grabs Marks's application form to read the requirements, "You have to document something and make it worthwhile..." He read aloud, "What's the documentary about?" Jungwoo asked, "I have no idea." Mark said before snatching the paper. "He has no idea...." Jungwoo whispered almost inaudible in disappointment. Mark writes down ideas on the back of the paper while discussing it with Jungwoo, "So," Johnny starts, "Wanna go out with me?" He said. "No." Nayeon answers strictly as if she was waiting to reject the boy who's attention was back onto her tuna sandwich.
"Anyway, I gotta go hand this into Principle Dong." Mark said witnessing the awkward interaction before getting up and leaving the vicinity

He was playing with the hourglass on his office desk when a knock on the door was heard. "Come in!" He chirped and in came a student. "Ah, Mark." He sang motioning the boy to sit down while he took his legs off the desk. "Came to finally hand me those application forms I've been begging your little club to hand over I see." He said noticing the paper in hand. "Haha, Yea," Mark said avoiding eye contact as he brought his hand up to hand the paper. "Can't wait to see what one of my star students has prepared for the Festival." He said opening the folded paper reading aloud, "A documentary about how lunch ladies keep old food fresh, and our bellies full," His voice started off strong going quieter word by word, looking up at him. "Yeah, you know how the lunch ladies always give us the same green looking sauce every day, or the same batch of oatmeal cookies from months back, every time we sink our teeth into it. It tastes fresh! I've always wanted to know and I think it'd be a cool thing to find out" Mark your blabbering, Is what Principle Dong wanted to tell him so he'd shut up. He didn't want a lame documentary about something to make his school look bad in to be put out in front of dozens of other schools. "Mark." He stops the boy, "Your artistic vision is lunch ladies?" He asked. "Yes, NO! But yes? I'm struggling I can't come up with a good topic that's not gonna bore students and teachers." Mark said. Mr.Dong could see how strongly Mark expressed his struggles with a mere school contest, he probably wants that prize more than anything. He knows he shouldn't help him, since it'd be unfair but he wasn't gonna let him put out something that can ruin his reputation. "Stop playing safe Mark. Challenge yourself by widening your perspective maybe instead of documenting lunch and stuff that you know will bore people and try going after something to catch their attention." Mark's eyes slowly open as he looks up to Principle Dong nodding understandingly "Alright I get it, I get it" He says before clasping his hands together. Mr.Dong sees his improvement and instead of picking another student to compete he can rely on Mark who's now being ushered out the room by him, "Now don't forget I need a new proposal by tomorrow." He said before shutting his door.

"Dude I know exactly what Mr.Dong was getting at," Jungwoo tells him. Their school day was over about two hours ago and now they were at their part-time job, at Yong's, a popular little cafe in the middle of a jam-packed shopping mall. "Something challenging...like I don't know maybe a certain diva you encountered during lunch?" His eyes lit up, looking over his shoulder to look at a grinning Jungwoo who flipped his non-existent long flocks of hair like he was the diva. "You're a genius!" Mark said now ecstatic, but quickly going back to his little stressed self, "No, but then how am I gonna convince her?" He said placing his hand up under his chin.
The bell rings by the entrance, which meant there was a costumer quickly brushing off crumbs from a cupcake he snuck in he turns around to see his proposal for the Film Festival itself. You looked different, you were wearing a pair of plaid pants with a tightly fitted black turtleneck, accessorized by dangling earrings, a heart pendant necklace and a simple gold chain. Your face was quick to cringe after seeing who was about to take your order, "Ugh It's you." You spit looking him up and down, he doesn't look too bad out of school you thought before handing one of the many many bags of clothes to your father's butler. "Here Minho, get a seat for us, please," You tell him watching him rush to one of the many empty seats. "Hi, Welcome to Yong's what can I get for you today?" Mark asked, tone sounding uninterested. "Shouldn't you be happy to see me? I am a miraculous sight for sore eyes," You said getting a half-suppressed laugh from Mark. "Anyway, I would like a grande green tea latte. one pump classic, nonfat, 6 enormous scoops of matcha, 195 degrees, and ABSOLUTELY NO FOAM." You finish, right before starting back up again, "And, I would like a venti caramel frappe with extra caramel drizzle." You finish finally reaching into your purse to pull out your (dad's) card. When you go to hand the card you see not only Mark but also Jungwoo looking at you, mouths open, jaws almost touching the floor. "Did you not get it? Do I have to repeat my order or something?" You say with a hint of irritation, "Ah- No. Sorry it'll be 15.50" Mark said averting his gaze from you.
After paying you, tell Mark, "bring it to my table will you?" before walking off to Minho.
"Dude go," Now's Mark's time to actually shine. He makes sure the drinks are perfect knowing ruining them could ruin his entire attempt. He strides along between the tables finally towards your booth handing you both your drinks. But Mark just stood there, you motioned with your hand as you would to stray animals. "Why are you just standing there, go do your job?" You said already bothered, "Nope, I have a proposal for you.", "Whatever it is, No." You said not even wanting to hear what he's got to say, "I'm gonna ask anyway." He said towering over you and you seated butler. "I want you to star in my movie for the Film Festival this year," You look up, surprised an obvious smile dancing over your lips. "What's it about?" You asked still not sure, "You! I'll have to document your lifestyle til the Spring Formal." Mark said. You bit your lip not knowing to go through or not, but it was a nice ego boost, having someone film your daily life, letting everyone know you got the best friends and most fashionable friends, a prince-charming and a purse worth more than your teacher's salary. Jung Wonyoung, who's also a runner up for Spring Formal Queen having the football team paint her posters and make pins but what's that compared to a freaking movie documenting your life...Winning this year is gonna be easier than expected. "Deal," You said, Mark, cheers a little too loud before bringing his hand out to shake, you reject kindly before letting him know "Don't look like a freaking weirdo at school though. We can start tomorrow at lunch," You finish before seeing him run off to Jungwoo.
Finally home being able to rest from begin outrageously gorgeous today you skip down to your bedroom, hoping into the shower then changing into a more comfortable attire. As of now you were in the middle of your bed doing some homework before the phone went off, it was a notification from Ryunjin, she tagged you in an Instagram post of you and her when you were younger. Your mom took that photo on the first day of grade school back when you and Ryunjin were inseparable. Mom died later that same year and it was heartbreaking but you were stronger than that you knew you shouldn't pity yourself, or have others pity you simply because she passed away, she wouldn't want you to be like that.

It was a brand new day and Mark was in the principle's office, don't worry this star is nowhere near in trouble when Mark hands in his proposal. "This is marvellous, I can see the growth Mark. Please keep me updated," Mr.Dong said watching Mark skip away cheerfully to lunch, where he'd meet you. Fridays at Yonsei were known as the only days of the week students didn't have to wear uniforms to school which often made them pull together a swagger (Johnny's words not mine) outfit for the rest of the school to see. Mark wasn't one to dress up on these days so today he decided to wear his black and blue striped t-shirt paired with black denim jeans, his black hair parted in the middle this time. He did not look like a film kid. He looked like he belonged to sit beside you, "Hey" you were busy opening up your lunch when he stood behind you with his camera. "Oh-" In all honesty, you thought he'd be wearing baggy trousers and a worn-out shirt but you were filled with joy to see him looking presentable to you. "Hey, sit." You said to him, "I'm gonna just cut to the chase and record..." He said fiddling with the camera for a minute too long, "A few rules before you point that thing in my face," you started as he lifted his face to see you, "Absolutely no filming my left side, no hanging a minute later after filming I need you out of my sight when I hear you say cut." You were strict but not so sure if you meant it. He gave you a thumbs up before clicking record.
"So, Y/n why are you so determined to be Queen at the annual Spring Formal" Mark asked zooming in and out for a few seconds finally focusing, "Because it ensures permanent popularity and I can't fall from my throne can I?" You ask, "Aren't you already popular?" He asked looking up from the camera confused, "Companies at the top of the list don't need to advertise but they do it because..?" , "They need to stay at the top of the list," Mark says understanding where you were getting at. "Exactly, it's not easy to be popular like me nowadays," You say placing your hair behind your ear, "So not easy being like Y/n" Yuna said, Sooyoung agreeing. "Girls not now, this is my time-" , "Actually if they wanna add something they-", "Being popular isn't something you can just fool around with, it's like royalty to us hormonal teens. It's not easy, I gotta live up to these beauty standards, and be on my A-Game whenever." You finish. Not knowing what to say next you smile at the camera hoping Mark would do something- anything but suddenly your knight in shining armor is here- Jihoon takes a seat next to you. "Oh Babe!" You say kissing his cheek; making sure it was on camera. "Only 10's can get date 10's like Jihoon, we're perfect for each other!" You express, but Mark snickers to the scene unfolding behind you watching Yuna and Sooyoung roll their eyes at that certain sentence. "Are you coming to my game today?" Jihoon asked, before noticing Mark. "Why is there a fucking geek near us," He barks but you quickly come to the save. "Ji, we went through this. Mark here is going to be making a movie on how I win Spring Formal Queen." You say, gripping his hand slightly so he could get the memo. "He better not show up to my games", "Never, just eat." You said as he glares at the boy. "Alright, and cut." Mark said before getting up, "Thank you."

"So...you don't have a job?" Mark asked filming you going through a bunch of clothes, you shake your head no. "You just shop til' you drop huh?" He asked amused at your simple lifestyle, "Of course, now don't come in here this is a school film." You said going into the change room. "Here she comes," You cheered (for yourself) minutes after changing into a short black skirt which was most definitely breaking dress code and a tight white long sleeve which had a deep cut in the back. Mark's mouth is slightly agape seeing you, you were gorgeous indeed he thought. "So tell me what it's like to be...." He trails off trying to find a synonym for the popular " Amazing? Well, there are levels of popularity, at the top moi, and at the bottom..you." You said giving him a grisly glare."Ou! Love these!" You acclaim to a pair of black heels, "Hate these." You say to a set of hot pink ones beside them. "I have two of these!" You declare cheerfully at a pair of white heels which shimmered with sparkles; definitely your style. "How do people get popular?" Mark asked, ignoring your admiration over ridiculously cruel footwear. "Well some are just born with it," You say then go in closer, covering your mouth in a whisper action, "But some gotta follow the diva's around for it." You said, clearly talking about Sooyoung and Yuna.
"Gonna try these on, out Geek," you said to Mark who was almost walking in there with you. "Oh- right sorry!" He said now moving over to your two (deemed) friends. "So, since she's not here... " Mark started getting the camera up to focus on the two, "Do you have anything about Y/n you can spill?" He asked, "Like, does your popularity only come from following her around," Yuna was quick to fire back, "We may not be as popular as Y/n, but we do know some secrets..." She trails off letting Sooyoung start. "Like when Y/n doesn't get her way, she has the biggest hissy fit,", "And Jihoon is only with her cause he likes the attention, you know to she makes him feel better about himself," Mark couldn't understand how your two announced friends were fundamentally spilling everything about you to an insignificant camera and film nerd. "Behold!" You squeal opening the curtains, to reveal your outfit (which admittedly, had Mark's jaw drop). You were some-what dress shopping for the Spring Formal and you saw this magnificent dress, a silk orchid dress which fell all the way down to your knees frilling at the bottom. The right amount of skin and the right about of puff! You thought; pairing it up with black heels, "God, I look fantastic. What do you think?" You ask the three in front of you, "You-I think you look great!" Mark said the camera to his side, "Film!" You shouted suddenly, as he ponderously brought the camera back up. "Ladies?" You ask the two behind Mark, "You look so good!", "Agreed." They say. The four of you voted to get smoothies before departing and you were ever so willing to pay for all four, "So popular people can't hang out with... nerds?" He asked filming you sip on the mango smoothie, "Of course we don't," He moved on, placing the camera down to take a sip out of his smoothie thinking there wasn't too much to embellish on, although you continue. "It's better that way, no interference. Why would a dime like me hang out with a nickel?" You asked oh so wisely which made Mark mumble a WTF. "See, if you two were to go out... The school would go mad as a hatter and it's not gonna end well on both ends." Yuna adds you look to her in the seat beside you, giving her a warning look to 'not talk this is my movie' as she sinks in her seat. Mark sees the silence as an opportunity to ask a question from his cue cards filled with questions that would have something engaging, after finding something to grab not only your attention but the audience about to watch this's attention, he springs the question on you. What if you don't win Spring Formal Queen? "What if I don't? That's not a question, of course, I will? If I don't my life will be over!" You said sliding your drink aside stressing the word over.
It was in the late hours of the evening and Mark was confined inside his bedroom, editing and stressing. How was this a high school documentary? She only cares about herself, 'fashionable' friends, and prince charming, in which two out of the three didn't even care about her. Maybe she's like this because of what it's like at home? He thought questioning about your at-home life was. Does she have a deep heart-aching past which makes her act like such a nuisance? Nah who am I kidding this isn't some movie. His night was mostly spent, under his blanket with a laptop screen shining into his eyes (probably the reason why he has contacts).

Saturdays were beach days. That's what Jihoon always said. You'd meet him at the beach where all the (popular) kids from school would go on Saturday mornings, not to sun-bathe but to attend the main volleyball matches would be held. The teams were unauthorized, but for the student's entertainment, our Yonsei's official volleyball team would pick Saturday mornings for a friendly event against Joongdong High. You texted Mark beforehand to meet you there which took him a minute to agree on, but only if he brought his friends, Johnny and Jungwoo. "Hey, you're late!" You tell the boy who's jogging towards you with his tiny camera, you look behind him to see a taller fellow, "And you brought friends..." You said uninterested and rather irritated, "I'm gonna help Mark, so you look extra beautiful today Y/n!" He quickly said chiming in; his effort in pleasing you was extraordinary. You give him a small smile before nodding. You look beside Mark to see a familiar face, "Johnny!" You cheer before embracing the boy, "Hey Queen Bee" He joked, as you slap his arm jokingly. You and Johnny's dads are business partners, which often made you two spend time together growing up so, in your world, Johnny was your only nerd. Mark just awkwardly stands the before Johnny scatters away with Jungwoo for soda cans, but Mark follows you. Mark was busy filming your little interactions with Jihoon before catching a glimpse of his Ryunjin. He thinks to himself, I can put the camera down for a second, before jogging to Ryunjin, who was getting a soda from the vending machine. "Hey," He said awkwardly. "Hi Mark, didn't come across to you being a beach guy..." She responded laughing at his getup in the hot climate. "OH, I'm just filming for Y/n." He stated catching 'O' shape form on her lips before they start talking casually. You back away, momentarily from the crowd to give yourself a little break, being gorgeous is a workout, you thought, before snickering. You look to your right to see Mark in the distance talking to a brown-haired girl, noticing the purple highlights, hidden between her locks, you realize it's not some rando, it's Ryunjin. I have to get him out of there. You don't really think before grabbing a spare volleyball to flinging it over the crowd to Mark's head. Running over you ignore the girl aiding Mark, "Are you okay? You look okay. We don't have time for breaks." You said sternly before grabbing his arm and sprinting as fast as you could in a pencil skirt and orange stilettos.
"God, your so lucky I was your knight in shining armour out there. Saved you from your utterly wretched flirting." You tell Mark posing for the camera he set. "Flirting? What, no. Why would I flirt with Ryunjin?" He demanded panicked that you might do something knowing you. "Oh please, your crush on Ryunjin is way more obvious than Wonyoung's fake gold." You said adjusting the skirt you had on. "Can't believe I used to be her friend," You mutter, which he caught onto quickly, "Wait, what?", "Yea, in elementary but look at us now, way out of her league, she's almost at the bottom of the list with her, 'I'm in a rock band' getup." You spit before posing dramatically.
You sit at the bench in front of the now, empty parking lot. Jihoon ditched you for 'pizza with the boys' to celebrate their victory along with the two friends who just needed to tag along for the sole purpose to tell everyone they hang out with the volleyball team during their free time. "Hey," Mark said sitting down beside you, "They left me and took my car." You say recalling Jihoon asking for your keys to drive to the pizza place. "Now I'm stuck here, do you have a car Mark, let's go somewhere." You whined quietly watching as Mark put his camera away, grabbing your hand to bring you away. "This is Jeno." Mark says, pointing to his Silver 1965 Oldsmobile, "He's getting old but isn't vintage a style you princesses adore?" He asked, chuckling before telling you to get in. "Spot on Film Geek!" You praise, before hopping in. You notice from the corner of your eye a group of kids from Yonsei walking by, you duck down, hiding from them "What are you doing now?" Mark asked confused, before noticing the batch walking down and taking a turn. "Okay Miss Popular, they're gone." He said a little insecure this time giving you a dry laugh. The car failed Mark this time, and not wanting to break the already broken car he tells you "Let's bus it, this car isn't going to start anytime soon,", "What? No way I'm going inside a jam-packed van just for it to stop a block away from my place!" You argue. "God why don't you quit this diva act and just face were gonna walk back which is probably a little over two hours I know you won't ever do or take a thirty-minute bus ride which you should consider knowing your so-called prince took.", "What did you just call me? A diva? Hello?? I'm a star in your film!" You bark, now furious at the boy, "No. You are a stuck-up, arrogant, annoying brat who's in my film." He fired-back. No remorse at all. "You're-You're fired!" You shout. "No, this is my film you don't do the firing!" He said back, "Don't care, I'm the star here and I say you're fired!" You finish before he grabs your wrist, "Oh please I'm the only one who demands are going to be valid and I say you're fired." Mark finished walking away from the bus-stop down the street, leaving you alone and forced to call a cab.

Mark thinks he hit jack-pot, finally getting rid of you. "It's not too late to change projects right?" He tells himself on that gloomy Monday morning, combing his hair with his fingers in the mirror before going downstairs to eat breakfast. Here he was, eating a bagel in Principle Dong's office. "I'm afraid you can't Mark," He said towards the boy.
"Hello! Yonsei!! It's me your future Spring Queen! Y/n! You want to better the halls of Yonsei? Vote for me, I'm sweet just like candy!!" You shout, the crowd you have in front of you, this was your way of campaigning. "Out of my way," Wonyoung says, grabbing the mic, to advertise and get people to vote for her. As per usual, she one-ups her opponent; you. "Oh my god, Y/n thanks for the advice on flirting, I finally got Wooseok to go with me for Spring Formal," Jisoo said, from behind making you turn with a happy smile, "So I can count on your vote?" Her smile faded quick, she mumbles a little something, before stuffing her face with the homemade cookie's Wonyoung provided, quick to run away.
It was almost the end of the school day and you were stuck in literature recapping on how to write proper paragraphs before your end of the year essay. You notice a semi-familiar face, Nayeon. You know she and Johnny are friends, so she must be close to Mark, you thought. You were gonna ask her to ask Mark to meet you but you'd rather not bring more geeks into your already geek-filled life. You read her phone screen that illuminated brightly in the dim-lit classroom. 'The Fifth Element is having a showing tonight,' A group chat called 'Hollywood's Trash' sent in, Mark would definitely be there. Writing down on a sticky note the address provided thankfully you slip it into your binder focusing your attention back on the lesson, this time with a smile.

You and probably the only other person you'd allow in your bedroom with you is Minho. He's been your family's butler for a little over 25 years now and has been with since day 1. Aiding since you unintentionally fell and cut a mark after attempting to bike without training wheels to strengthening you with your mother's passing. Minho was with you when he dropped you off at the very, very empty cinema. "They're probably inside, just wait until it's over which is..." He looks at his wrist, to his watch. "Another 10 minutes," He gives you an assuring smile before reaching over to open the door. "Knock em' dead," He tells you, before driving off. You sit on the sidewalk ledge with a soda in hand, sipping on it here and there until you began to see people walk out. Standing up, you pat down your skirt and look for anyone that resembles Mark. You see a short boy, black-parted hair and a graphic t-shirt paired with baggy trousers. "Mark!" You shout, he looks behind him to see your petite figure run up to him, "Hey," He said confused. "What are you doing right now?" you asked him eagerly, seeing him turn to Nayeon, Johnny and Jungwoo. "Yong's, we are totally digging sugar cookies," Jungwoo said before Mark could open his mouth, you smile leaning in a little closer to the odd trio, "Mind if I tag along?", "No! Feel free." Johnny said, grabbing your forearm to drag you along.
"God how can you guys drink those dreadful things," Nayeon said watching Johnny and Jungwoo gulp down smoothies. You and Mark already finished your drinks a while back, "Nayeon you do know, smoothies have a health glow about them? They’re often a fundamental part of cleanses, and they’re ubiquitous at health food stores and health-centric restaurants. And the smoothie trend is still going strong. Workout studios serve them up post-class, dietitians preach their powers and fit celebrities tout their nutritional prowess. The fruits used at Yong's are fresh and have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits with low-sugar, employee's here have also learnt to provide fibre, calcium and vitamins A, C and K they add dark leafy greens like spinach or kale. "Y/n what the fuck??" Nayeon said. You stare at her dumbfounded... Have you said the wrong thing? Were you wrong?
It's still the early hours of twilight, and you are still wandering with Mark and his friends, roaming around the lit-up town. "So, since when did you get so smart?" Mark asked. The two of you were walking delayed to get a chance to talk after your dispute. "What do you mean I've always been like this," You said, a little offended he thought that low of your academic abilities. He mutters a 'wow' before continuing "Well I thought pretty diva's like you only cared about popularity and crowns," He said poking fun at our egotistic side. You gasp before laughing, "So you think I'm pretty?" You sneakily stated which made the boy stutter like crazy, he couldn't answer back without the rosy tint on his cheek growing so you continued on with a little heartfelt apology in hopes he'd continue the documentary. "Look I was hoping you'd let me hire you back to finish this stupid film," You started smiling eye-to-eye hopefully, "You mean, I could hire you back?" He said. "Yes, whatever. Just continuing this- whatever" you pointed at him, then back at you repeating his vigorously "whatever this is.", "Only under one condition, you being a little bossy duchess is not gonna be happening, I like the cool nerdy Y/n I saw at Yong's," He said, which you quickly fired back with 'I'm not a nerd!' You accept your mini defeat against Film Club boy, letting him know you need a ride home before anything. "Alright, get in."

"Wha-What are you doing?!" Mark asked, laughing so much he almost dropped to the floor. You invited him inside after he agreed to drop you off at home. "Making cookies duh!!" You cheer, grabbing all the chocolatey goods from the cabinet. He's quick to pull out his camera and hit record, "Welcome to my Y/n's baking show!" You sang, adding a trumpet noise (with your mouth). "So, what's the new with you and Ryu?" You ask, sitting beside Mark diving into a very, very unhealthy mess you call a cookie, with Mark. "Nothing really, how are you and Jihoon." You sigh to look over at the spacious living room, Mark understands your silence and understands your having trouble in paradise. "How about I ask some of her band mates- who worship me. If they can ask Ryu to go on a date with you" You suggest to Mark with a soft smile. He looks at you, thoughtfully, "I got someone else on my mind nowadays..." He tells you with a crimson red colour visible on his cheeks. "I-I should get going now it's nearly ten." He says going to grab his things, you nod and walk towards the front door. Maybe some nerds are cool, you thought, before Mark went out.
3 weeks. You've spent the last three weeks with Mark Lee. Getting to know him, documenting your- I mean our movie. He's been warming up to you, and you've been less of what he liked to call you; diva. You've started flaking out on some dates with the girls, just to film with Mark, you two have learnt more about him through the movie nights you spent over at your place after filming. He's really cool and you're grateful you stopped clowning around to know him. Today you went over to Mark's place extra early since you wanted to give him a makeover. His dorky striped tees were getting old and you'd like to see him rock the nice clothes in his closet you knew he had. "Wear this, this and OH! Make sure to put these to use." You say handing him a pair of khaki pants, a yellow shirt, patch denim jacket and a beanie to wear. It was beautiful to see him actually clean up for once, he almost made you fall for his looks. "If Ryunjin doesn't ask you out, don't mind if I do," You said laughing "Aren't you too busy with Jihoon to look after me?" He said bluntly laughing before stopping to look for a reaction which was nowhere to be found, "Jihoon broke up with me because apparently, I'm a part of the geek team now!" You said chuckling, a hidden sadness underneath. "Hey, don't worry I've been a member of the geek squad for about my whole life I think we roll far better than rich snobs-", "Hey! Take that back I was one of them" You said punching his arm. "Don't worry you're good," He said laughing it off. To be honest his feelings for Ryunjin over the past few weeks have now shifted into distant memories after getting to know the real you. I think Mark's really been feeling lucky he's got you and he knows you're aware who he's got his eyes on now. You're parting his hand, in between his legs as he sits on the stool, his hands were sneaky to make their way to rest on your hips; you hum unaffected, but proceed to part it nice and neatly before ripping his hands from somewhere it shouldn't be.

It was D-Day. Spring Formal was no longer weeks away, it's hours. You had just recently gotten news that Mark's little documentary he's been making about and with you has won first place in the Annual Film Festival, due to this he had won the summer getaway to Hollywood film camp, which by the way, was exclusive. He was lucky, and he aspired and reached his goal like no other, you on the other hand... Let's just say Spring Formal Queen wasn't something you were looking forward to nowadays. But it did feel nice to win something at a party you didn't even bother to attend, you were too busy telling mark farewell at the airport to be at a function that was still being supervised by faculty. "Don't forget to text me, Mark," You tell the boy in front of you. Today Mark is sporting a red and black striped tee with an In The Row Leather Jacket (gifted by who else other than you!) and some dark blue jeans. "Can't believe you missed the fricken' Spring Formal to hang out with the film geek! Ah You really have evolved," He said standing in front of your hands reaching to nothing when he stuffs them in his jean pockets. "You make me sound like those Digimon characters you collect," You say ultimately making him facepalm at your words Digimon? Really Y/n? he thought before going into a fit of giggles, oh why should he correct you anyways you seem so cute."But no, I won't forget." He assures hand reaching out to rub your side. This time spent with Mark is something the old you would've retched at, but the current you? The current you are thankful, Mark helped you go back to your regular self, showing you that you didn't have to be some type of Barbie doll for some; what Mark called rich slobs. You were better than that now, and you had Mark. You've come to realize that Mark Lee isn't just that geek from the film club. He's above that. His place in your hear is indescribable. Who knew he would be the one to make your heart run laps from simple gestures. It's hilarious in a way, you'd be aggravated if he even came into your vicinity but now you'd be anticipating his visit.
"Mark," You start, watching his eyes light up at you call him. Your eyes meet, looking into one another's dark coffee bean orbs. Your gaze was sharp as if lined with shards of glass around the edges, his eyes. God, when your eyes met, you could see the glow in them, it was irresistible. That is when you finally realize, this newly discovered desire you found in yourself, is in Mark. He foresees your next moves bringing a hand up to your cheek, caressing it. "God, you're so beautiful," He whispers watching both of your arms trail up his torso to rest firmly on his shoulder. Leaning in, you finally taste his peach lips. His heart was racing, once he dipped his face down to you. He knew that once he places his soft pink lips on you, he wouldn't want to stop. Breaking the kiss, you whisper, "Goodbye, Mark." Hand raising to ruffle his hair, "Make me proud out there," You tell him, leaving a less-heated peck on his lips. "Thank you, goodbye Y/n" He wanders off into his designated area before taking off almost immediately pulling his phone out. Is he really that addicted to elec- Oh, your phone rings. He's calling you, "I miss you already," he tells you the moment you answer. "I miss you too." You tell him. "I have to go, my Uber is here." you bit your lip, the words tangling up in the pit of your stomach, should you tell him the eight letters you've been longing to? "I love you, be safe." You look over the crowd to the seat to see him, looking for you. He brings the phone up back to his ear, "I love you too- Fuck so much," It looks like he's been waiting just as long.
Let's just say your happy ending took couple wrong turns but it looks like you finally reached your destination, in Mark's heart.

To say you had been looking forward to your first solo stage was an understatement. You were bounds passed excited and any other possible synonym.
You loved your members more than words could say, but you had longed for the chance to showcase your passion for dancing to your fans. And, expectedly, your members were very supportive.
So, when you got the news that you were to do a solo stage for some award show you didn't bother listening for, you began to practice as hard and as frequently as you possibly could.
Your dance partner, a boy you had known since your trainee days and who was now a choreographer for YGE, had also been very helpful throughout the process. The dance that you two had generated was rather sexy, and never once did he make you uncomfortable.
You're sure that if you weren't head over heels for someone else, you would be with him. He was the perfect gentleman. Well, he was a perfect gentleman when he wasn't half an hour late for your session.
You glared into the mirror as you stretched for the fourth time within the last fifteen minutes. You swiped imaginary dust off of your black biker shorts, then did the same to your plain white air force 1s. He chose today of all days to be late. Today you were supposed to film your dance practice.
You stood in front of the mirror for twenty more agonizing seconds before giving up and grabbing your phone out of your jacket pocket. You frowned at the lint that had collected on the screen and wiped it off on your tank top.
You had one message from Jisoo, asking what you wanted for dinner. That was it.
You huffed as you opened your message app, bypassing Jisoo's message and reaching your thread with Lino.
You: Oppa!! Where are you?! You know I don't think it's cute or endearing when you're late!
Lino: Oh sorry, babe! So, funniest thing happened. I sprained my ankle playing basketball this morning. I could've sworn I texted you earlier but I guess the painkillers are effecting more than just my ankle😭🤪
You: oh no, Li! Are you okay? How am I supposed to practice now?
Lino: I'm fine, Y/N/N. I'll be back to normal before the stage. And not that you need to practice anymore, but don't worry, I called in some reinforcements.
You were in the middle of asking him what could that possibly mean, when a knock sounded from behind.
"There you are, unnie, I've been looking all over for you."
You tried to fight off a blush.
Lino: you're welcome in advance. and make sure not to do anything I wouldn't do.😉
You refrained from asking what he meant by that, if only because the owner of the voice was slowly approaching you.
You placed your phone back onto your pile of belongings in the corner of the room. You then spun on your heels to face the girl who had just entered the practice room.
"Why were you looking for me?"
Lisa stopped moving toward you, "Lino didn't tell you? He asked me to replace him for the day. Which I found weird because I'm pretty sure he knows I hate him."
You giggled at the younger girl, it was indeed a well known fact around YG that Lisa couldn't stand Lino on a good day. It was especially funny to you, considering your member normally liked everyone she met.
"Why do you hate him so much?" You blushed again at the frown that question resulted in. It was clear Lino was a sore subject, but you and the rest of your members had never been privy to why exactly.
Maybe if you knew, you could solve the problem for the both of them. Then everyone would be happy. And that's all you wanted. For Lisa to be happy.
"....It's childish. Don't worry about it." Lisa crossed her arms over her chest. Her incredibly large flannel wasn't doing much to cover the fact that she was only wearing a Calvin Klein bra underneath. In contrast, her baggy sweatpants left much to the imagination. You only tried not to stare.
Your crush on Lisa was well documented by Jennie, Jisoo, and Rosé. The only person that hadn't seem to notice was Lisa. Hell, even Lino knew.
In hindsight, you're not really sure how you ever could've stopped yourself from falling for her. She was beautiful, talented, passionate, and possessed a sense of humor that, admittedly, could be better but she was cute! You love her. You never stood a chance. She just doesn't know it, and you didn't plan on telling her anytime soon.
"Well, if you hate him so much why'd you do him a favor?"
"I'd do anything for you."
You choked on a gasp. Lisa didn't seem too fazed by what she had said, but you were as fazed as one could ever be.
You cleared your throat, "Well, that's nice of you. But, you don't know the choreography and the camera guy is supposed to get here in 55 minutes."
"Of course I know the choreography. Lino sent me a video about half an hour ago." Lisa looked mildly offended that you thought she wouldn't learn an entire routine in just half an hour for you.
"And you're okay with that? It's a pretty sexy dance and you'd be doing the "boy" part." At this point you were practically begging for her to change her mind. You don't think you could handle being that close to Lisa alone.
"I think I'll be able to manage." Lisa smirked and stuffed her hands in her sweats pockets.
You nodded silently.
Okay, Y/N. You can do this. She's just your best friend who you're in love with. It doesn't mean anything when you grind onto her just like it doesn't mean anything with Lino.
You took a deep breath, "Okay, lets get started. Did you stretch?"
Lisa queued up the music on the stereo with a laugh, "I've been dancing all day. I think I'm as limber as a slinky at this point."
So much for your last ditch attempt at stalling.
"You ready?" The slightly taller woman offered up her hand to you. You took it with a short nod. Okay, if you can't trust yourself, hopefully you can trust Lisa.
"Great." Lisa backed away from you as the first thirty seconds of the song was just you.
She pressed a singular button on the remote and the music began. As soon as it did, you were consumed by the music and even managed to forget Lisa was behind you, watching you intensely.
All you wanna do is gas me How we end up in the backseat? Just tryna get to the bag We on the same page, you the same way
You body rolled probably more intensely than you normally did. You told yourself it was because you were practicing for when the camera man arrived and not because Lisa was watching you.
Baby, when we gon' slide? Hey, hey Up all night, baby, when we goin' slide? Oh, yeah, yeah Baby, when we goin' slide? Slide, slide, slide, slide
As soon as Lisa sidled up to you, you gulped heavily. She had barely even participated yet and you were already thinking less than appropriate thoughts.
Thoughts like what would it be like if she turned you around and pushed you up against the wall. Or worse, the mirror.
Her body rolled in times with yours, at times it seemed like you two fit perfectly together like a puzzle piece. It also goes to show just close you actually were to each other.
She began to guide you into the next move. Her arm wrapped around your waist as you pivot in a circle together. The move involved you being crouched so low to the ground that you're practically sitting on her lap.
And the worst part about it, it's become at least 20 degrees hotter in the room, and you can't tell if Lisa has even noticed.
Then again, maybe the warm wisp breath tickling your ear said otherwise.
Eventually, the music came to an end, but Lisa had yet to retreat from your back. You feel fortunate that you're facing away from the mirror, because you definitely would have gotten attached to that picture.
"Lisa..." You whispered breathily. You're sure the lack of air in your lungs has to do with Lisa still being pressed up against your back, holding you.
"I don't think I want you doing that with anyone else ever again." She whispered softly into your ear.
You stayed silent, you don't trust your voice.
"Are you and Lino..." Her voice trailed off, but you knew what she had intended to say.
"No."
"Good."
And before you can even think of anything to maybe choke out in response, her lips are attached to yours in a kiss that would probably take your breath away if you were ever breathing when she was near.
"Lisa."
"You've been doing this on purpose, haven't you, unnie?"
Her lips travelled down your neck leaving fire in their wake. You rolled your head back, your head coming into contact with the wall length mirror.
"D-doing what?"
"Trying to make me jealous." You felt her hands slowly trail down your body. One landed on your hip, while the other harshly cupped your center through your shorts.
You let out a strangled groan.
"You have to be quiet, unnie. Wouldn't want to be caught like this, now would you?"
You could practically feel yourself get wetter by the second. You didn't want to be caught with your member's hand down your shorts, but then again the thought was just so hot.
Lisa traced the outline of your center. Your hips bucked at the sensation. The other dancer only chuckled. You sort of felt like you were being punished for something you weren't aware of doing.
"Lisa, I nee-
She cut you off with a searing kiss. You nipped at her bottom lip. She moaned in response. Your hands that had since been resting precariously around her neck, slid to her exposed bra.
Lisa choked back another groan, "No, Y/N, this is only about you tonight."
The hand of hers that wasn't teasing your pussy mercilessly, guided your arms above your head.
"You know, if you wanted me to fuck you, you could've just asked."
You really wished she would stop talking. You're already drenched beyond belief, and she hadn't even actually touched you yet.
You feel a hand slide under your bra at the same time that Lisa finally dipped her fingers under your shorts.
"Fuck, where are you panties?" Lisa moaned.
You didn't bother to answer.
You moaned obscenely as Lisa slowly stroked over your outer lips, easily slipping through.
"You're soaked." She circled your clit slowly, watching with a small smirk as your hips flexed and buck underneath her hand.
You were panting now, Lisa was exactly where you wanted her, yet you were still being teased. Your hips move on their own accord, trying to force Lisa to to slip inside of you.
"Lisa, please."
Lisa continued to trail her fingers through slick folds. She soon decided she might as well give you what you wanted, you two were running out of time the longer she tortured you.
Her finger slipped into you easily, the resulting moan is the loudest one yet and just as sinful as the previous ones. You were trying your best to be quiet, but it was hard when you're deepest fantasies were coming true, and everything just felt so darn good.
Lisa eyed your face through her eyelashes. Your hips buckled once again and Lisa took that as her queue to resume moving.
She pulled out then, pushed back in slowly, her palm catching on your swollen clit.
You whimpered and panted, urging Lisa to pick up speed. And she happily obliged. She added a second finger and entered you again.
"You look so hot like this."
She pumped into you about as hard as the angle she was at let her, but it seemed to be enough for you. You rolled your hips against Lisa's hand, your moans increasing in pitch and volume until Lisa muffled you without another passionate kiss.
"Fuck, Lisa!"
It's not much longer that you let go into Lisa's hand. You breathed deeply and your back arched away from the mirror. Bringing you even closer to Lisa than you already were. She stroked you idly as you came down from your high.
When your senses finally returned to you, you smiled at the woman in front of you. Then you slapped her arm.
"Ow. What was that for?!" Lisa rubbed at her arm with a pout. You rolled your eyes at her dramatics.
"For making me think you didn't like me back! This entire time I thought this was completely one-sided." It was your turn to pout. You even crossed your arms for good measure.
"You didn't ask." Lisa shrugged.
You glared at her.
"Okay, I'm sorry, but what was I supposed to say? 'Unnie, I've had a crush on you since we met, please go on a date with me, and stop talking to Lino. I hate him.' That sounds stupid."
"I love you, I wouldn't have thought it was stupid." You fixed your hands on the collar of her flannel.
"You love me?"
"Yeah. Probably since we met and you tripped and fell right in front of me." You giggled at the memory. Lisa rolled her eyes, but blushed.
"I love you, too. Probably since we met and I tripped and fell right in front of you and you didn't laugh at me like everyone else did."
You only ducked your head down to smile softly at the floor.
"Go on a date with me." Lisa more stated than asked.
"I thought you'd never ask."
Ooh I got five, you know it's all live Tell me when to go, baby, when we gon' slide?
