1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?

The very, very first thing was his family since you know he was originally just Seiris’s son, so I knew his whole ass family before I knew pretty much anything about him.

But the first thing about him, himself that I ever considered was his name! Ya’ll know I have my naming convention with the Kavalaris clan where they name all their children with the first letter of their spouses name so since his dad’s name was Julian I knew I wanted his name to start with a J so I pulled up “boy names that start with J” on google, found Jasper and loved it ever since!!

18. What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC?

He used to be a total boy scout. You (Sarah) just finished drawing the Kavalaris fam right before Jasper and Jiselle leave for their life adventures and he just looks so precious like “baby’s first adventure” bc it is his first time leaving home and he just looks like he’s trying so hard to be the hero he wants to become like “okay I’m off to save the day!” he really had such high hopes for himself when he left home

19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?

How much he loves Rhys to death 😭

Outside of that I really just love how much of an adorable goof he really is. Like he tries to be all smooth (and sometimes he gets it) but at his core he’s really just a sappy shmuck that just really loves his family and genuinely wants to be a good person
