Hey there, Mousey! (。・ω・。)ノ♡
I saw your ask box is open, and I just couldn't resist the urge to send you a request. The way you write stories related to SDV and its mods is so captivating and reading them always brings me a sense of joy. Keep up the incredible work, and don't forget to take care of yourself.
Anywho, here is my request. Do you remember the assassin fanfic I requested before? The one about how the mages and adventurers react to the Farmer's past as a runaway assassin. Well, I thought it would be interesting to see how the RSV Bachelors & Bachelorettes would react if they discovered their spouse is a former assassin who now wants to lead a peaceful life with their younger sibling. I can just picture a funny idea that Farmer wanted to get away from anything related to assassin stuffs and they just suddenly married someone who is an assassin from The Cult, how ironic. Also, I'm thinking of maybe make the farmer as a female.
One more headcanon about Farmer as former assassin for you :3 Glad to see you again, and thanks for your kind words and for the ask! 💖
_________________________________________
Daia and Jio felt sorry for Farmer. Not only was her childhood taken away to teach her how to do dirty jobs, fight and kill (Daia knows better than anyone what it's like), but the bad guys did it too. Both cult members kill corrupt politics and monsters, and Farmer had to work for those worse than the monsters. This also explains to the grumpy elf how the simple farmer was able to masterfully deal with Gabriella's henchmen. Nevertheless, both admire Farmer's endurance and sacrifice for the sake of her siblings. Daia promises to help Farmer if the mafia members show up, and Jio promises himself that he'll stab the bastards in the neck with his katana.
Tears would start streaming down Ysabelle, Alissa, Flor and Irene's cheeks, and the girls would whimper quietly. How can people be so cruel and disgusting - intimidating a literal child, making them do nasty jobs, threatening her younger siblings if she start to protest. The girls' hearts are broken into a thousand shards, and they don't know what to do. Flor and Irene will silently hug Farmer as they continue to cry, and Ysabelle can calm herself down. All of yours will comfort Farmer and tell her that she's the best older sister for her younger siblings, for not abandoning them and fighting for their freedom and her own.
Blair, Faye and Maddie will also start crying, but loudly, kicking grass, empty soda cans - anything that gets under their feet, cursing bandits and mobs as hard as they can. Roaring and cursing (not at Farmer, of course), and when they run out of strength after the rage, the lab assistant and the fisherwoman throw themselves on Farmer's neck, sobbing. If the Farmer needs help, she can rely on her friends.
Fuck... Bryle knows Farmer! He was familiar with the case, as members of the mob had once tried to organize an assassination attempt on the Governor before. He wasn't working as a bodyguard at the time, but he had studied the gang and their past so there wouldn't be another assassination attempt. And he remembers there was a kid. It... was HER? Oh, Yoba, that's fucked up... He's sorry. No, he's not giving them up. Bryle realizes she was forced to do this. He's given fair warning tho, that if Farmer's past is revealed, his hands will be tied. But he promises to protect Farmer's siblings and help her through the situation as much he can.
Sean, Philip, Ian, and Jeric first thought Farmer was talking about her role as an 'assassin' in some TV show, and immediately got excited. Philip even started asking if it was from his favorite TV show, which was an adaptation of the comic book. But when Farmer explained that she was hiding from the real mafia, the smiles on all the men's faces fell instantly. How.. is this possible. Yoba, that's horrible... They're glad that Farmer was able to free herself from those bastards and save the siblings, but... What if the mafia members come here for revenge? They want to help Farmer, but none of these candidates know exactly how.
Paula, Kenneth, Shiro, and Corine listened intently to Farmer, from beginning to end, when it all started, how her parents were killed by mobs, and how she did the dirty jobs of criminals until her escape. After the story was over, each of them would hug them silently, comforting Farmer. Paulo and Corine are very combative personalities, and are ready to help in any way they can if one of the tourist who's visited the Valley, turns out to be their former "coworker", Kenneth as well. Shiro isn't too confident in his abilities due to his injury, but vows that he will protect her siblings just as he would protect his family.
Zayne is.. speechless. He's heard that the Republic Mafia is known for their cold-blooded methods and bribing important people (they even tried to bribe/intimidate his Grandfather once! With no luck). But this... Words cannot express to the future head of the Amethyne family how sorry he is for what happened to Farmer and her sisters/brothers. If the bandits show up here, then let Farmer feel free to ask Zayne for help. She and her siblings are to him as family, and whoever infringes on his family may regret bitterly... Everything will be legal, of course, or else he'll be no better those bandits.
June was familiar with members of the mafia. No, he didn't do business with them, nor did he intend to, but some of the mobs were fans of the music gang he was a member of. One had even had him play a solo at mob's birthday party, but only because the pianist was afraid of the mob's wrath if he refused. Luckily, he and his gang were able to move far away from them, and he's glad that Farmer was able to escape them too. He's afraid to even imagine what his friend had to go through to keep her siblings alive and save.
Kiarra and Anton nearly choked on air once the meaning of Farmer's words reached them. How? How did this even happen? Kiara would especially resent Farmer's parents for dragging their own family into a criminal organization. Anton, on the other hand, would stare silently into his mug of cider, not knowing how to react or how to comfort Farmer. They in no way blame Farmer and will offer a helping hand if she need help caring for her siblings.

Can we have another fujio fic? If you’re not busy ofc, I love your writing
ғᴜᴛᴏɴ ғᴀɪʟᴜʀᴇ
Pairing: Hanaoka Fujio x afab!reader
Summary: when a storm hits one night, Fujio’s stranded at y/n’s, who not so excited as Fujio, but he struggles to fall asleep and seeks y/n for help
Warnings: sunshine!fujio, grumpy!reader, swearing, fluff, friends to lovers, they’re both painfully in love, Fujio’s drunk at the start, reader is so not a reflection of myself
Authors note: the final request from last year! Deepest apologies anon, thank you for your patience <3 requests may open after this :3
Request: above!
It wasn’t the weather, and it wasn’t the fact that he was cold and wet that had Fujio stumbling through the streets. He didn’t have a single coherent thought in his head but all he knew was that her place was not far from where he’d ended up. Rain hammering on his skin to the point it began to sting a bit and his clothes soaked through and stuck to him. A night out was supposed to be fun, why wasn’t this weather forecast?
Upon peering through the peephole and seeing Fujio hugging himself like a lost puppy, she took his arm and pulled him inside, wrapping him in the towel she kept by the door especially for him. It wasn’t the first time he’d rocked up like that, no. But not often did he turn up wasted and wet.
They both remained silent as they shuffled through y/n’s apartment into her bathroom, not because she was mad, but she didn’t have a lot to say. Sitting down on the toilet seat, Fujio peered up at the woman stood between his shivering legs. Her lips downturned, eyes focusing on peeling his shirt and tank top off his body and tossing them into the washing basket.
“I…I’m really sorry y/n,” he paused to form another sentence, tears almost welling, “for waking you up…again.” His face was met with darkness, y/n drying his hair with a small towel after he mumbled. After getting his hair to an at least damp state, she started wiping the excess water off his shoulders, arms, and chest hastily. He didn’t complain about it, she had every right to be rough, her eyes were barely staying open and yet she still decided to clean him up. She could’ve just left him in her entrance way, making him sort himself out but she never did that, each time she’d sigh and drag him into her house to tend to whatever needs he turned up with. Every time he’d brought it up to the boys, Tsukasa would slap him on the shoulder and tell him to keep her, that someone loved him more than they were letting on. Others would scream and groan in envy, begging to meet her friends.
“Can you take your trousers off? I’ll get you some dry clothes.” She asked, turned, and walked into her bedroom to rummage through Fujio’s left over clothes. She never returned them, what was the point when he basically lived there. He followed instructions and pulled on the clothes she left at the door, not that he was in the state to care what she saw, and she wasn’t someone to particularly make a big deal out of it either. “Jio?” He hummed in response, trying to even say another word would’ve been embarrassing, “Your futon’s ready when you wanna sleep. Goodnight.”
--
He tossed, he turned, changed position, blanket on, off, half on half off. So much movement he had sobered up and could feel how light his blanket was. He sat up, shoulders dropping and threw his head back to imitate a groan he couldn’t vocalise. The storm continued to rage on, wind howling and even thunder and lightning joined the party. He looked the other way, y/n sleeping soundly, cosied up in her double bed. Creeping from off the floor, Fujio tiptoed over and slid under the sheets next to her. When y/n said she was a human heater, she was not exaggerating. His once chilling bones instantly warmed and he sank straight into her pillows.
“Jio?” she muttered, voice cracking slightly. He turned to face her, watching her eyes pry themselves open. Even though her hair was messier than usual, he still thought she was pretty.
His eyes widened slightly, “y/n! Uh- I’m sorry please go back to sleep- I just was just cold and couldn’t- “
“-it’s okay. Do you feel better?” she croaked, pushing his hair back from his eyes. His lips tugged into a small smile, and he gave a faint nod. “Good. Now sleep.”
Once she’d closed her eyes, he rolled onto his back, smiling, “This is nice.” He whispered.
“Don’t make me puke.”
--
Another hour passed and Fujio laid eyes wide open and a scowl on his face, he thought that rain was supposed to be soothing but clearly, he was lied to. Y/n had even started stirring, and while that wasn’t alien for her to be a light sleeper, she rarely changed her position. Taking a glance at her figure, her eyes were also partly open, listening to the screaming weather from outside. It got him thinking, maybe Tsukasa was onto something. He and y/n had been friends for years, even if they did attend different high schools. She’d always been the one to patch him up (despite having basic medical knowledge), she cooked for him, took him in, hung out with him and although she spent most of that time insulting him, he never took anything personally. The small acts of service and care was enough reassurance that she was being affectionate in her own way, and he loved that. And he hoped that one day he could return that without, well, ‘making her puke’.
“Y/n? Am I worthy of love? Like, are there any redeeming qualities to me?” He whined, hoping that she’d give him some sort of indication that Tsukasa was right.
“Shut the fuck up and go to sleep.” She, understandably, spat back. She was glad she wasn’t facing him anymore, and that he couldn’t see how badly she wanted to answer that question, but the words just wouldn’t come out the way she wanted them to. Showing was better than telling, and she was showing that she wanted him to rest considering his lifestyle.
“Your duvet is too light, it’s gonna take ages, I need weight!” he kicked his feet up and let the duvet slowly fall back down, grateful that y/n wouldn’t be angry with him with all his struggling. Y/n deeply inhaled, chest thundering. She knew that, but she didn’t have the weighted blanket as her sibling had claimed it. Rolling over slightly to glance at him, the way his chest rose and fall as he tried breathing exercises, his hair that fell over his forehead, his lips that pouted slightly like a child. Y/n swallowed her pride, hand sliding over his right pectoral and head on the other, left leg finding home over his waist. Fujio’s breath hitched, his arms wrapping around her waist, switching between holding and one hand rubbing the bare skin on her thigh. Y/n nuzzled into his collarbone, eyes fluttering closed with every feathery drag of his fingers up and down her leg.
“Happy?” She mumbled, her voice rumbling into his chest.
“I could die like this.” His smile evident in the chortle he gave.
“To answer your question, if you weren’t lovable, I wouldn’t be busting my arse off for you. Whatever Tsukasa told you was correct.”
--
Sun seeping through the curtains with birds singing their songs, the storm had passed. Y/n and Fujio had remained tangled in each other, and both had finally stayed asleep. Best sleep of Fujio’s life, even if his arm was kind of numb.
Y/n’s alarm rang, and her body struggled to roll around to turn it off but once she had, she groaned. Wriggling out of Fujio’s arms, she sat up, barely opening her eyes and staring at nothing before beginning to swing her legs over the bed.
Fujio’s stronger arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her down and back into his chest.
“Bro, I have school.” She brooded; Fujio placed a kiss to her neck.
“Did you just ‘bro’ me?”
“Cry about it.”

Instructions For Holding Satsang - Spiritual Awakening Radio Podcasts
Kirpal Singh: "The books written by the Master should be read in the Satsangs, as these give a clear cut view of the subject, as also carry the life impulse of the Master and as such will bless the dear ones with right understanding of the Holy Path. Relevant portions of the books of other Masters, viz: Kabir, Nanak, Christ, etc., dealing with Sant Mat, Surat Shabad Yoga may also be referred to where necessary... "For the subject of a talk, we may take up the hymns from any scripture, preferably from the Masters of the Sound Current. It may be supplemented by apt quotations from the parallel writings of other Master Saints. The Holy Gospels themselves are full of such material as may fit in with such a context. The illustrations from various Masters are essential so as to bring out the essential unity in the teachings of all the Saints."

Satsang is a term that means association ('sang') with the Eternal Timeless Truth or God ('Sat'). Satsang means "association with Eternal Truth" as well as "association with God," and is to some extent comparable to "church" or "temple," but not in any institutional sense. A saying of Jesus in the New Testament provides a good definition of a Satsang meetup: "Where two or three are gathered in My Name, I Am there in their midst."
The format of Satsang can include: someone giving a spiritual discourse, instruction on putting the Path into practice, a video or audio of a Master (Sant Satguru) giving a talk, readings from the writings of the Masters, the reciting or singing of banis, bhajans or kirtans (hymns of worship composed by Sants), and silent group meditation. It's considered the greatest of blessings if it is a Master who conducts the Satsang in person (or in this age of live streaming, via the web).
The effect of Satsang is that of DIVINE REMEMBRANCE, thus, with such a spiritual boost, encouragement and support for the spiritual journey, those who go to Satsang are much more likely to stay-on-the-Path and put effort into their own daily spiritual practice at home. Thus will the life of the Bhakta (lover, devotee, disciple) become more and more God-intoxicated by imbibing the spiritual wine, the nectar of divine love.
Also Covered During This Satsang Podcast: People's Attention Drowning in a New Age Soup: In an Age of Junk-Food Spirituality and Endless Internet Memes, What Satsang is NOT -- Satsang is intended to be an oasis, a refuge from the agitations of the mind, maya/illusion, the labyrinth of the world (and astral plane);

Welcome bottomfeeders and protozoa alike! This is your weekly recap of the exploits of Hadal Live, the newest generation of Killtubers (streaming freelance mercenaries) as they explore the megadungeon known as Saimya Holy Livewell, a tremendous complex of failed commercial endeavors. First, the let's introduce the talent thus far! Gul, the Discharged Corp-Killer -Former frogman, packing more arms and armor than the rest of the entire group combined. -Seems to have taken on the role of groups chaperone? Lou Ditte, the Seething Luddite -A brash greaser with wonderful hair, a sledgehammer and 6 difference engines. -Most willing to take point, both with and without goading from chat Jio, the Brain Dancer -Camerawoman of the group, also the most social -Has a robot dog with more HP than she does Their first stream saw them following a quest to get some spicy justice, with the objective of pepperspraying a specific mallcop. They took to exploring the entrance hall of the Livewell, creating their first Viral Moment as Lou Ditte bet chat he could fish a ton of coins from the fountain the lobby, only to fail and have his hands attacked by fish. After Gul caught and fried one of the fish at a nearby fast food eatery, the parties camera batteries began to burn low, the group booking it through the tremendous fishing grounds of the Livewell towards Edgeway, the discount sword dispensary where mall cops where known to hang out. After sweet talking the target away from his friends, they managed to to not only pepperspray the target on camera, creating the groups second Viral Moment of the stream, but a extremely lucky chat donation allowed them to Doxx the mallcop before fleeing out of a nearby entrance. What will they do with this blackmail material and new found rewards? Join us next week to find out~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So as you can imagine, players-as-streamers is definitely reaching into uncharted territory, but the first sessions, while brief, was extremely promising. -XP-as-Viral Moments turned out to work excellently, as players will note down what they think quality as viral moments. (Thanks to Z-Scribe on the Mork Borg discord for helping out with that system, which I will expand upon in a future post). It also as the side benefit of creating a log of what players found to be the most exciting/entertaining moments of the steam. -The batteries-as-torches system also worked as intended, with the players both realizing that if they aren't on stream, they aren't collecting Viral Moments, or chat donations, which really encourages them to up the antics. -The group also loved talking with chat, though as a GM, I will definitely need to build up the tools for both the chat's interactivity, as well as setting some canned responses. And also some tables to have the chat be more... chaotic? It was only helpful this session, and I feel like it should be more of a blessing and a curse, if possible. -Things that need to be addressed... well the first floor probably probably be a bit bigger, with the central chamber only being one room means they can move pretty fast to most places in the complex. It's the first level so it's not a huge deal, but mall-as-dungeon needs a lot of work to give a proper labyrinthine experience. Feel free to ask about anything that I may have left out, there's a lot of different wielded together bits.

Letters from the Masters: Spiritual Guidance
Baba Jaimal Singh - Always Listen to the inner Sound During Meditation Every Day: "If you listen for ten minutes, or five minutes, or four minutes, or two minutes, or even one minute, with love and devotion, millions of sins and obstacles will be removed." (Baba Jaimal Singh)
"The human body is like a radio receiver for listening to the Sound Current [the inner Sound during meditation]. When we tune in the radio, we begin to hear the sound. Similarly, when the Master (Sant Satguru) guides us within, we are able to hear the Divine Music. By adjusting the ‘dial’, we hear various kinds of Sound.” (Huzur Baba Sawan Singh)
"The escape is through the Sound Current." (Hazur Baba Sawan Singh)
Letters from Masters to their disciples, though originally written to specific individuals in the past, often have a universal quality about them, dealing with real-life struggles along the spiritual journey and so sometimes feel quite personal, as if they are addressed to us as well. Today's program features readings from the letters of Kirpal Singh, Sawan Singh, Baba Jaimal Singh, Soamiji Maharaj, Huzur Maharaj Rai Saligram, and Maharaj Saheb (Brahm Shankar Misra).

Spiritually illumined do owe much to their less gifted brethren when you can instill faith and right understanding in them out of your own personal knowledge derived from the sacred books published from here and on personal experience gained by meditations." Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in India
Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in India have been on the rise, driven by factors such as economic growth, market consolidation, and favorable regulatory reforms. The Indian government’s push for ease of doing business and liberalization in sectors like retail, telecom, financial services, and technology have encouraged both domestic and international M&A activity. The rise of digital transformation, particularly in e-commerce and fintech, has also spurred consolidation.
Key deals in recent years include high-profile mergers in the telecom sector, such as Vodafone-Idea, and acquisitions in the technology space, such as Facebook’s investment in Jio. India’s robust startup ecosystem and growing consumer base make it an attractive market for global investors. Challenges remain, including regulatory complexities, compliance requirements, and integration risks. However, with strong fundamentals and evolving business dynamics, India is expected to remain a key player in global M&A markets.
