Clone high season 2 episode concepts that would've actually been fun/cool

Abe tries to get into "real magic" to impress Joan by hanging out with Aleister Crowley and Arthur Conan Doyle. Jokes about people being too into Harry Potter being lame, jokes about paranormal teen shows a la Sabrina, etc.

Ronald Reagan and Nixon gets JFK into presidential themed crypto

Mean Girls episode parody about the Salem Witch trials or Bloody Queen Mary. They write themselves.

Episode where the main cast keep finding dead bodies, basically tripping over them, parody of teen murder mysteries, twist ending that the bodies are all failed/early clones (like the clone equivalent of a stillbirth. there was no murder)

Yellow Jackets Parody episode. the bus is out of gas or something and they're stuck in a large parking lot but act like they're in the woods.

Traveling championship episode. Debate team has to compete against high school where all the students are robots programmed to behave like the greatest scientists/leaders of all time

Trans episode parody. Abe realizes he isn't aligned with the modern republican party anymore and is therefore a Democrat, treated as a self-aware bad analogy maybe to the point of other characters finding it tasteless/annoying/Abe looking for attention

Cyberbullying episode parody, bonus points if it's gossip girl

Secret cousin/twin parody episode --- obvious starting point would be like. Anastasia because of how many people famously claimed to be her.

Supernatural teen romance parody episode. Abe tries to become a vampire with like Edgar Allen Poe or someone to impress Joan.

"Save the community center" episode --- This could be a great Harriet focused episode about like a bake sale or something to fund the arts but everyone is over exaggerating the stakes and the drama of being/not being a good baker. "My grandmother used to bake these cookies for me.....until she DIED" "My mother baked these cookies for me everyday I was in the hospital after falling out of that helicopter and they gave me the strength to survive" "I can't bake....my mom was always too busy with her business to teach me....." etc.

Big Mouth/Sex Ed parody episode. I think it would be really funny if THIS had been their technology episode, like getting a computer virus is treated like getting a STD and the cast talk about browsing the internet like it's casual sex, etc.

parody of those tasteless episodes about how like bullying leads to school shootings. Have like Abe or Joan or someone try to reach out to Napoleon or someone because they eat alone at lunch and because they think it's silly and mean everyone is afraid of them but then they are just like a violent maniac already. the solution is to get rid of him.

this might sound dumb but remember that one episode of jimmy neutron where jimmy was banned from the science fair for being too smart and killing the morale of any other student interested in participating? What if Clone High did that but as like a parody of anti-trans sports legislation. All the cloned scientists are banned from the science fair because it's an unfair advantage. All the Politian clones are banned from debate club, etc.

Social media/parasocial relationships parody episode where like JFK and Abe become obsessed with one another's online accounts not knowing it's them, despite Joan repeatedly telling them this, it becomes completely unhealthy but then whenever they do hang out together face-to-face they hate it and decide the parasocial relationship was better actually.

Jimmy Page wears grey. Grey slacks and grey shirt with a silky shine of the kind favoured a few years ago by up-and-coming young insurance salesmen.

His appearance is non-descript to the point of parody, though I hardly expected him to turn up with those famous moons and stars twinkling up his trouserlegs. Otherwise, Jimmy Page is a shade under six-foot, and faintly uncomfortable with the slim but slackly unmuscled body. His puffy eyes water, but then he has a touch of the summer flu for which he apologises with characteristic courtesy. My hour-long acquaintance reveals a mild, vague and word shy bloke. He certainly doesn't look like the kind of chap who so admired the black magician Aleister Crowley that he bought the self-styled Wickedest Man In The World's Boleskine House on the shores of Loch Ness, not to mention inscribing his credo, "Do what thou wilt", on the run-off groove of Led Zeppelin III. But it's always the quiet ones, isn't it? Pagey liked the idea of being considered man of mystery. Robert Plant, Page's old partner in Led Zeppelin, told me three years ago, "He really should have been a San Francisco version of Simon Templar, hiding in shadows and peeping round corners. He got some kind of enjoyment out of people having the wrong impression of him. He's a very meek guy, shy to the point where sometimes it's uncomfortable, but he let it all go on: and it's his choice whether it all continues. It's not up to me to start saying the guy plays cricket..."

Jimmy Page's cricketing prowess was the last thing on my mind. His conversational abilities, however, were another matter. Winkled out of his mansion-cum-studio in Windsor, Jimmy Page plainly regards the interview as a promotional tool of dubious worth and probably best avoided.

Boleskine House

United Kingdom

Most people know Boleskine House for its two most famous owners, occultist and writer, Aleister Crowley, and Led Zeppelin guitarist, Jimmy Page. The bizarre happenings date back centuries before either of them ever set foot on the land. Many say that the Highlands are overflowing with ghosts, and Boleskine only adds to that claim.

Aleister Crowley bought Boleskine House in 1899 with the express purpose of performing an elaborate magickal ritual there. Part of this ceremony involved summoning demonic entities and binding them with the goal of removing their negative influences from the magician’s life.

Legend has it that the house was built on the site of a 10th century Scottish kirk or church which had burned down killing the entire congregation trapped inside. Across from Boleskine House is the Fraser clan graveyard. Before the graveyard was there a medieval church stood on the site which had a reputation for strange activity. The only building that remains is a small mort-house which is where the coffined body would remain under guard until it was of no use to the grave robbers prevalent in those days. One legend suggests that there is a tunnel linking Boleskine House to the graveyard. 

Over the years there have been various reports of strange activity on the site of this property. According to legend, it’s built upon the ruins of a 10th-century church that’s said to have burnt to the ground during a congress, killing everyone inside. This could explain the strange fires that have taken place here with no found cause over the years. Other reports of strange deaths to Crowley’s Housekeeper’s children are recorded, suicides, attempted murders and people acting very much out of character. 

With such a dark and twisted history, haunted by demons and devastating fires, perhaps it’d be best to let the House of the Unholy remain empty.

6 Dark Places Aleister Crowley Performed His Particular Brand of Magick

Born in the late 1870s, England, Aleister Crowley was one of the great characters of the 20th century—a poet, a magician, a journalist, an alchemist, a philosopher, a spy, a self-affirmed drug fiend, and a sex addict. He was also known as “The Great Beast” and the “wickedest man in the world.” He played a major role in the creation of alternate religions like Wicca, the A∴A∴, and the Ordo Templi Orientis, and he founded the Order of Thelema, a semi-Satanic cult whose famous edict was “do what thou wilt.”

Crowley is to the occult as Tolkien is to fantasy—he set the stage that everyone else plays in. Basically, if you’re dabbling in things dark and dastardly, Aleister was probably there first.

In all of his doings, Crowley traveled a lot. He pursued exploits in Egypt, India, the Far East, Australia, all over Europe and North America, dotting the map with sex magick and weird stunts. Here are a six places in the Atlas where the infamous occultist left his mark.

1. 36 Blythe Road

LONDON, ENGLAND

Though he was interested in the occult from childhood, Crowley’s first foray into organized magic (or “magick,” as he preferred to spell it) was with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. Well liked by its co-founder, Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers, Crowley advanced in the ranks very quickly. However, not everyone was a fan. The London chapter, which had already found faults in Mathers’ leadership, particularly disavowed him for the eccentric, bisexual Crowley. This caused a decisive rift between two factions of the Order, but Mathers wasn’t ready to concede his leadership.

In 1900, while the poet and London chapter leader W. B. Yeats was heading a meeting, he was attacked by an “astral siege” from none other than Aleister Crowley. Crowley, wearing a black Osiris mask and a kilt, and his mistress burst into the temple, casting spells and brandishing daggers. They intended to take the temple for Mathers’, but were unsuccessful. The police came, the scuffle went to court, and the London chapter of the Golden Dawn won (as they paid the rent on the space). Now the nondescript George’s Cafe resides in the former site of the secret society’s temple, with no indication of its former life.

2. Boleskine House

INVERNESS, SCOTLAND

Boleskine House was steeped in darkness long before Crowley moved in. The manor is allegedly built atop the ruins of a 10th century church that burnt to the ground during a service, killing all the congregants inside. Crowley bought Boleskine House to seclude himself and perform magic from The Book of Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage. It was during this period that Crowley became famous for his occultism and black magic, both around the Scotland and later, the world. Sometime during this period Mathers called Crowley to Paris. He left without dispelling the “12 Kings and Dukes of Hell” he had summoned, and many locals blame the house’s unlucky history on evil spirits left behind.

First, Crowley’s housekeeper’s two children died mysteriously and abruptly. Crowley also bragged that one employee of the estate who had long abstained from alcohol got drunk and attempted to murder his entire family. After the house had changed hands, it still wasn’t free of dark energy. In 1965, the army major who owned the house committed suicide by shotgun. The next owner, Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, spent very little time at the estate, instead bequeathing it to a friend who didn’t mind the unexplained creaks, groans, and various ghostly apparitions, but was bothered by the Crowley and Page fans who frequently attempted to break into the house and defile the grounds. Later owners dismissed any notions of hauntings or witchcraft at the house, but in 2015, the residents returned from a shopping trip to find the house completely in flames.

3. Crowley’s Magickal Retirement

HEBRON, NEW HAMPSHIRE

In 1916, Crowley spent four months at the home of renowned medium Evangeline Adams in what he called a “magickal retirement.” This didn’t mean taking a break from cocaine, heroin, sex magick, and prolonged rituals. Quite the opposite in fact. In Hebron, Crowley doubled down and did a great deal of writing, poetry and magical instruction alike. He was even a ghost writer on several of Adams’ books of astrology.

4. Esopus Island

HYDE PARK, NEW YORK

In another magickal retreat, Crowley spent 40 days and 40 nights (a la Jesus Christ) on a tiny island in the Hudson River. His mission was translating the Tao Te Ching, a 4th century Chinese philosophical text. He hadn’t brought much food but had packed plenty of red paint, and also put himself to work painting Thelemic graffiti on the island’s rocks. Curious families watching the bald, robed man on the island from the banks of the Hudson began bringing him rations. He was also visited by fans and artists, who brought him food, drugs, and company.

Much later Crowley reported experiencing visions of his past lives during his stay on Esopus Island, all of which were somehow very influential figures. His former selves included legendary Taoist Ge Xuan, Renaissance Pope Alexander VI, alchemist Alessandro Cagliostro, and the magician Eliphas Levi. Today, the island is open to the public so long as they can reach it by boat. There are even camping amenities for those who wish to follow in the footsteps of the infamous occultist.

5. Boca do Inferno

CASCAIS, PORTUGAL

Any eccentric worth his salt has to fake his own death at least once. When visiting Portugal in 1930 and feeling annoyed by his current mistress, Crowley gave appearance he had committed suicide at the Boca de Inferno (“Mouth of Hell”) caves. His friend, poet Fernando Pessoa handed Crowley’s suicide note to newspapers, helpfully explaining the magical symbols and translating the mangled Portuguese to police and media alike. Three weeks later, Crowley reappeared at the opening of an exhibition of his works in a Berlin gallery, suggesting this whole affair was more publicity stunt than anything else. Today, there is a small white plaque mounted on the rock provides the text of Crowley’s note: “Não Posso Viver Sem Ti. A outra ‘Boca De Infierno’ apanhar-me-á não será tão quente como a tua,” which translates roughly to “Can’t live without you. The other mouth of hell that will catch me won’t be as hot as yours.” That might be touching if any of it were genuine.

6. The Abbey of Thelema

CEFALÙ, ITALY

Crowley’s magickal career came to its peak in a little Sicilian town. For a small amount of money, he, his two lovers, their small children, and miscellaneous followers moved into one story house facing the Mediterranean sea. They called it the Abbey of Thelema. The common room was dedicated to ritual practices and held a scarlet “magick” circle marked with the sign of the major Thelemic deities. Crowley’s own bedroom, labeled by himself as “la chambre des cauchemars” (or “the room of nightmares”) was entirely hand-painted by the occultist with explicitly erotic frescos, hermaphroditic goblins, and vividly colored monsters. This private room was used for specific night initiations involving psychoactive drugs which gave terrifying cinematic life to this Bosch-like vision of hellish debauchery.

Crowley considered his temple a school of magick, and gave it an appropriately collegiate motto: “Collegium ad Spiritum Sanctum”—”A College towards the Holy Spirit.” The Cefalù period was one of the most prolific and happy of his life, even as he suffered from drug addiction and had to write the scandalous Diary of a Drug Fiend to finance his community. The growing interest in dark magic and the occult provided him with an ample student body (pun intended). But in 1922, the experience in monasticism ended when Raoul Loveday, a young disciple, tragically died from typhoid fever contracted from drinking contaminated spring water, though Loveday’s wife maintained it was from drinking cat’s blood.

Crowley and his people were evicted by Mussolini’s regime in 1923. The dictator had no sympathy for pornographic art or mysticism. Once the Abbey closed, the villagers whitewashed the murals, which they somewhat correctly saw as demonic. This erased much of the history and work of Crowley in Cefalù. The Abbey of Thelema is still there, a hidden monument of mysterious, magickal decay.

São Paulo’s WEEDEVIL Reveal ‘Profane Smoke Ritual’

Evoked from the smoke like a truly hypnotic and intoxicating ritual. Engaging, powerful and dense. The new album by Brazilian stoner/doom band WEEDEVIL, with official release scheduled for June 6th and digital distribution orchestrated by the brazilian label Abraxas Records conjures these and other adjectives.

The album 'Profane Smoke Ritual' (2024) explores deep themes inspired by figures such as Aleister Crowley, as well as the duality and liberation of Lilith and Baphomet, addressing spirituality, transcendence and mystery. The lyrics written by drummer Flavio Cavichiolli invite listeners to delve into their own reflections on existence and the meaning of life, seeking to inspire deeper and more introspective thoughts. “I especially highlight the song ‘Profane Smoke Ritual’, which portrays a journey of spiritual liberation through rituals and experiences with cannabis smoke. This song reflects my own personal exploration of the connection between mind, body and spirit”, says Flávio.

The new material presents the band's new lineup which now features (in addition to Flávio) the musicians Carol Poison (vocals), Jimmy Olden (guitar), Henrique Bittencourt (guitar) and Cláudio HC Funari (bass). Even under the guise of a new beginning with the new lineup, the group continues to maintain its essence, now led by the powerful voice of Poison (who carries Heavy Metal influences in her inspirations) and with an always efficient instrumental section composed of proficient musicians. "Profane Smoke Ritual" maintains existing positive points and adds new nuances.

Following, Flávio talks a little more about the band's musicians and news: "Jimmy's participation on guitar was fundamental in this album. We established a very quick creative connection, which contributed significantly to the sound and musical direction of the project. Each member of the band brought their own unique contribution, with Henrique bringing the heavy riffs, Cláudio incorporating the depth of the bass and Poison's vocals adding a special touch, inspired by bands like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Candlemass.”
