Your timeline is doomed that you have to go back and save them. All the while have an existential crisis about yourself and your existence since you escaped said doomed timeline and your sister's mind melded with a new one. Is she still the same person or not really? Especially if you had fucked her at some point. You confess to your childhood friend you love them. But hesitate since this Jade is not exactly the same one you have been talking with from the other timeline. Kind of sort of, but also the fact that you are stealing away another version of yourself who has a better chance to be with her since he is directly from this timeline you just saved. Wouldn't you also be just a bit pissed at the trolls for all this shit weighing down on you? Fuck Dave though all the way.

Davekat is bad ship (in "canon") because it looks like an abuse relationship w/ Dave that isolates Karkat from his friends.

It really is seems to be the case. Karkat can't go out to meet with other humans, trolls, or carapace. Not even ones like Kanaya, Rose, Jade, or even John. Dave just wants Karkat to be placed only in his home. Stuck, if you will. He can't go out to save the trolls. Nor does he want to join with him for his cause. How can fans they he is supportive if he pulls shit like this? Fuck Dave! Hell, at that point in Epilogues and Homestuck^2, he isn't Dave! He's Jimbo! He's no longer allowed to be a Dave!

Calliope (A self insert from Shelby. Boring and whiny character that gets everything handed to her. She doesn't have to work for shit and is said to be the "good" side of the fandom.) 2. Yiffany (Child of RoseJade by cucking Kanaya. What else you want me to say?) 3. Terezi Pyrope (Mostly for stuff on Act 6 and beyond. She became the worst person as time went on.) 4. Cronus Ampora (Just a flanderization of Eridan Ampora by the people who dislike him.) 5. Jimbo Strider (A Dave Strider imposter that appears in Post Retcon and beyond. Do not trust him. He's not a real Dave.) If HS2 shit doesn't count, then put Davepetasprite^2 over Yiffany. The worst combined kernelsprite of all time that should not have existed in the first place.

Apparently Dave's sexuality gets debated a lot, personally i always saw him as heteroflexible and only gets a bit gay when he starts to idolize a guy, but that's just my headcanon. If he is meant to be gay i think it would be hilarious considering he was supposed to be this macho, cool, aloof, dude bro who got all the ladies and was a person he and others strided (heh) to be. But then he turns around, ditches it all to be in an unsatisfactory relationship with another equally depressed dude because of his baggage. You know what they say "Only steers and queers come from Texas"

Nobody wants to be like the current Jimbo. Someone who is sad and sits around to watch TV. Even if history tells about his journey on Earth C, meeting him now would be underwhelming. I bet you he would feel disappointed if he truly knew what happened during Obama's Presidency.

i use to ship davekat into homestuck 2 ruined it for me, why did they make dave abusive? canon dave would never do such a thing and i don’t care what anyone says, that dave is not the canon dave i know, that is fanon dave and no one can tell me otherwise, even if homestuck 2 isn’t canon they still ruined dave

If abusive is not the right word to describe Jimbo (fake Dave in Homestuck 2), then it's more of being pushy on Karkat to go along with some of his plans without Karkat's own input on the whole thing. Along with not as willing to help him save his troll kind for the other timeline. After all, besides Karkat and Kanaya, what other troll does Dave even care about? Sollux? Tavros? Equius? Trolls like them that had some funny interactions with Dave are all gone. Can't be Terezi either because that teal bitch is riding off John's hate dick and craves more of the blackrom that it makes me wonder why was she not called a creep like Eridan for wanting that too.

Ngl it's a little weird seeing Post-Retcon Dave wave off Rose's neglectful home life and Jade's isolation by saying Mom and Grandpa at least cared for them ._.

Jealousy over this is quite petty for Dave. Mom Lalonde was drinking because she knows the world is gonna end and Grandpa already dead. It's like Dave had forgotten who his other friends were and what their life was like, only to focus on himself. I hate post retcon Dave. I hate Jimbo.

If only it was that. If only. But seriously, Dave just wanted to keep Karkat to himself, if it meant his own kind, new generation of trolls, and ones like Kanaya, were wiped off. Dave...or rather, Jimbo, wants to be in his own safe little bubble world, where nothing else matters except himself and his own interest. His other friends don't matter. Not John. Not his sister Rose or Roxy. No one except himself. Can you imagine how Davesprite would feel to see this Dave turn out this way? All the work he did to time travel back to fix the timeline, leave Jade to be with the REAL Dave, and have his personality overshadowed by Nepetasprite that he loses his own identity and die off fighting the big bad villain....it's fucked up.
