A photographer keeps seeing a thing he calls a monster. He tells people it’s real, that it’s attacking him. His wife Carol and best friend David wonder if maybe he’s losing his mind, because no one else can see it. But the damage being done to his body is very real and he has no way to make it stop.

THERE IS A MONSTER stars Joey Collins, Ena O’Rourke, and Jesse Milliner. The film was written, produced and directed by Mike Taylor. Taylor’s sister was afflicted with a horrible disease. It was her struggle that served as the genesis for the idea that became the film.

Gravitas Ventures will release the film on digital platforms on January 30, 2024.

Although People Magazine is aligned with The Meghans, they could not ignore Catherine & Charlotte's mini me moment at the Coronation.

The Princess of Wales and her only daughter, Princess Charlotte, were featured in the number four (4) spot of 2023's Top 10 Style Moments.

What People Magazine should have printed: "Both the Princess of Wales and her daughter wore headpieces that featured three-dimensional leaf embroidery created by milliner Jess Collett for Alexander McQueen. Both made with silver bullion, crystals, and silver thread. A spectacle from every angle, the Coronation chignon, which mimicked the intricacy of her silver leaf headpiece, epitomised regal modernity." Quote from fashion Blogger

Even Omit's former employer, Harper's Bazaar dropped "Kate Middleton": "The princess' hair is styled in an elegant updo and she does not wear a tiara, as was previously expected; instead, she wears a Jess Collett x Alexander McQueen headpiece with silver bullion, crystal, and a silver threaded three-dimensional leaf embroidery. She wears the jewels with an Alexander McQueen dress in ivory silk crepe with silver bullion and embroidery featuring rose, thistle, daffodil, and shamrock motifs. Over it, she wears a blue formal robe, at the monarch's request."

No one in the US will purchase The Meghans covers. In order to sell their stories, The Prince & Princess of Wales are typically pictured alongside any Sussex reports. Unfortunately Omit's voice seems to be the silent (royal) contributor for many US reports.

Gemstones Episode 2.8, Continued: Macaulay Culkin grows up, the Cycle Ninjas break out, and Jussie Smollett shows his stuff

Baby Billy's Baby Boy: Harmon the special-needs son who Baby Billy abandoned at Christmas 1993. has grown into a special-needs adult (Macaulay Culkin), But nevertheless he has achieved the heterosexual nuclear family trajectory of job, house, wife, and kids.Actually, his wife has the job (a lawyer, "an educated breadwinner") but close enough. 

Suddenly the doorbell rings: it's a card with a photo of Harmon on Santa's lap the day his Daddy abandoned him.  Then his Daddy!  

Baby Billy wants to fix things between them, so he can move forward with his new son.  So it's not about Harmon, it's about you?  Harmon says just don't make the same mistake again, and "Can I hit you with a closed fist as hard as I can in the face?"  That's rather precise, but Baby Billy agrees, and gets walloped.

Jesse Smollett and K-Fed: Back stage before Eli's  "welcome back" service, the siblings are in makeup and practicing their enunciation. They agree to make Daddy proud by showing how much they love each other. Judy says that she loves "Jesse Smollett" and "K-Fed," whereupon Kelvin makes a strange feminine gesture. 

K-Fed is Kevin Federline, an actor, musician, and dj, known for his brief marriage to Britney Spears. 

Jesse Smollett is Jussie Smollett (top photo and left), an actor who came out as gay in 2015.  On the Fox drama Empire (2014), he played a gay musician trying to gain the approval of father, a hiphop mogul.  Sounds more like Kelvin.  

At least Jussie's character managed to kiss a dude. Kelvin won't get around to that for another umpteen episodes.

Back to the siblings: They're going to take a photo with the Millins, an impoverished family that the church is gifting $50,000.  Judy wonders why they are bothering with such a small amount, "barely any money at all." It doesn't seem worthwhile.  "Poor people love money," Kelvin explains.  

Geez, just when you think these people have redeemed themselves...are they so lacking in empathy, or are they so out of touch that they don't realize that $50,000 is almost a full year's household income in South Carolina?

Wait -- where is Eli? 

Eli and Junior reconcile: Eli skipped his welcome-back service to make a surprise visit to Junior's wrestling studio in Memphis.  He couldn't have waited until after church?

Suspicious of his motives (naturally, after the run-in with Jesse), Junior comes armed with his own God Squad of four musclemen. But Eli has had enough: he doesn't want to fight. 

"But you ignored and disrespected me," Junior says, forgetting for a moment that Eli also broke his heart, "And sent your asshole son to threaten me with violence, to rape me.  What's up with that?"

Eli denies that he sent Jesse, and comes clean about his father murdering Junior's father. Junior is ok with it: "He was asshole, anyway." 

They stand so close together that one expects them to kiss.  But then Junior drops one last bombshell: he didn't send the Cycle Ninjas.  Someone else is trying to kill Eli.  But who?

Cut to the police station.  Sheriff Brenda is on the toilet, when she hears an explosion.  The lights go out, and the fire alarm goes on.  Out in the hallway, cops are lying dead.  The Cycle Ninjas have escaped!  The end.

One episode left, and a lot of questions to answer.

The Princess of Wales’ Stats - Second Quarter

In the second three months of 2023, the Princess of Wales completed 45 engagements, averaging around 15 engagements a month. Her work rate saw a small jump after the coronation, completing 10 engagements in April and 17/18 in May and June respectively. She also appeared in nine released photos, videos, or statements, and was spotted five times - twice in April and three times in May. In April, a photograph that was taken by the Princess of Wales released. While none of these months have been her "busiest", they are notable for being consistent - this was her busiest June without a Jubilee and busiest May without a tour.

Of her 27 patronages, she has visited or completed work for 8, totalling 23 engagements in total. In April, Catherine completed four engagements on behalf of the Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales. In May, three of Catherine’s six patronage related engagements were for the Royal Foundation, while she also completed one apiece for the Scouts, the Foundling Museum, and the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. In June, nine of her engagements were related to the Royal Foundation, while she completed one for Polar Preet, the National Portrait Gallery, the Rugby Football Union and the V&A.

Of her 45 engagements, 25 have been solo while another 8 were when she was accompanied by her husband, the Prince of Wales. Eight engagements took place with the wider British Royal Family, while two took place with large numbers of both British and foreign royals present. One engagement took place with predominantly foreign royals - the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein to the now-Princess Rajwa.

All of her engagements - bar the Jordanian wedding - have taken place in the UK, in England (42) and Wales (3). More specifically, 22 of her engagements took place in Windsor, while 14 took place in London. She also halso undertaken engagements in Southampton, Warwickshire, Aberfan, Methyr Tydfil, Birmingham, and Slough.

Many of her engagements have linked to the Early Years, with seventeen engagements falling in that area specifically, with another one engagement linked to mental health and two further related to children and young people. 10 of her engagements were specifically linked to the Coronation, which took place in May. 2 of her engagements have linked to the military, while 3 engagements have been focused on both cultural and diplomatic natures. She also undertook one engagement specifically linked to the outdoors. Six of her engagements did not fit into the theme headings I have created.

Clotheswise, her most worn identified designer has once again been Alexander McQueen, followed by LK Bennett. Her most carried bag designer was Mulberry, followed by Prada. Her most-worn shoe designer is, again, Gianvito Rossi, although she has worn Aquazzura four times. In terms of jewellery, she has been dipping into the royal vault! She has also worn four pieces inherited from the late Princess of Wales, as well as from Orelia London. A further four pieces were unidentified. When it comes to hats, Catherine was seen in eight hats or headpieces, four made by different milliners/brands - Lock and Co, ASOS, Jess Collett X Alexander McQueen, and Queen Mary's Lovers Knot Tiara - while four were made by Philip Treacy.

Rachel Gibb was born in Carnbroe, Lanarkshire, Scotland about 1848.

 She was a milliner and dress maker and in 1870 she married John Wright, a miner.  The couple lived in the coal and ironstone mining villages in the hills near Dalmellington in Ayrshire, Scotland. 

In 1870 their son Robert was born and daughter Jessie was born in 1873. Sadly Jessie died as a young infant; another daughter, also named Jessie, was born in 1875.



In August 1876 the family sailed from Glasgow to Dunedin on the sailing ship Dunedin. The voyage took 83 days. Unfortunately Jessie died of meningitis during the long journey. 

In 1878 the family settled in the South Oamaru area where husband John was employed on the railways. They had five more children: Christina Rachel (1879)
, Esther (1882), Mary Brydone (1883)
, Margaret Finlay (1887)
, and John (1892). 

Initially they lived in Waiareka, then Toka-rahi and Totara (south of Oamaru).  

In 1899 Rachel was employed by the Post Office as postmistress and telephonist at nearby Toka-rahi.

 At a presentation at Totara in April 1908 to farewell the Wright family, the Oamaru Mail reported the following words spoken by John Macpherson (Manager of Totara Estate):


“Speaking of Mrs Wright, words failed him to convey all he should say of the many good qualities of that lady. Were it a time of sickness or trouble, she was ever ready day or night to do what she could for any one in the district, and all were sure of a cheery welcome at her house. Her connection with the post office and telephone bureau at Totara entailed a good deal of worry, but the speaker had to compliment her for the way she had conducted her duties.”



In September 1908 Rachel sold their six-bedroom house at South Oamaru; in October 1908 she and John retired to Christchurch. Rachel died in Christchurch in May 1933.

Panel materials: Lynette supplied cotton quilting fabrics for the background, Joan supplied pieces of lace, beads, fabric flowers (except the pohutukawa), and ribbon. Ben supplied photo fabric for Rachel's photo. Judy supplied embroidery threads, felt, and some cotton fabric. Map fabric was from an old shirt of William's. All materials were supplies we had to hand.

This is that halloween fic I’m never going to finish! The joke is that Hana convinces everyone to dress up as cowfolk without telling McCree after he gets her the best/worst cowboy hat of all time as a gag gift. (Hanzo steals McCree’s hat for his costume. And his chaps. And his boots. And a lot of his clothes, generally. He is not sorry. McCree is too distracted to be mad about it for very long.)

It also has the dumbest thing I’ve ever written in it.

Afterwards, it is decided by consensus that the entire evening was ultimately McCree’s fault, his feelings to the contrary noted and then ignored.

It started with a hat. Purchased in Houston, it is as much a marvel of material science as it is a visual travesty. The basic shape is that of the classic Stetson, but it is adorned with an alarming, absurd number of rhinestones. In broad daylight the glittering blinds human observers, and even indoors it’s hard to look at directly. The base material of the hat is violently pink and clearly possesses above average structural properties. The hat band (somehow pinker, the platonic ideal of pink, a pink that hates you) has a large, heart shaped rhinestone in the middle, which is flanked by small LEDs that blink, resulting in a prismatic ocular assault when activated. The whole thing is a masterwork of some rouge milliner, perhaps tormented by visions of the angry ghost of Dolly Parton and driven to unleash the tackiest horror imaginable. It is truly an abomination of taste.

The intended recipient is one Hana Song, the giver Jesse McCree. It is presented with little fanfare, the box deceptively plain and even a little distressed from the long journey.

Hana adores it.
