Jeremiah 50:5 A Perpetual Covenant With God
They shall ask the way to Zion, with their faces toward it, saying, ‘Come and let us join ourselves to the Lord in a perpetual covenant that will not be forgotten. Jeremiah 50:5 Covenants are made every day all over the world. In modern times covenants are called contracts or treaties. It is the agreement of two or more different parties on some issue. There is an agreement as to how each should…

so anyway, DC's Doom Patrol (2019) is a level of storytelling that simply feels so impossible, and coming from DC too, and YET
#As far as unbelievably philosophical and idealogy-packed media in the recent 5 years go#do not talk to me about feminism unless it's about Blue Eye Samurai and Doom Patrol#i mean. Doom Patrol is a truly marvelous creation#f u c k i n g unbelievable that it's a DC production. like the fucking titan-killer balls on Jeremy Carver for producing this thing#It's literally physically impossible to watch more than 2 episodes of this show per night. the level of philosophical commentary#and the unfathomable map of interconnected symbolism and narrative deconstruction in real time. I've resigned myself to not catching a good#50% of the show like it's just fucking impossible. i need at least 15 more rewatches#but also i think about Doom Patrol in relation to Gotham TV for more than 2.5 seconds and i start bawling like#Truly Gotham TV walked so Doom Patrol could win Olympic 100m sprint#it solid hurts to think about the level of storytelling Gotham TV would've had if it had gotten Jeremy Carver's writing room#and a hard R rating; noone would've survived Gotham TV and the lost potential of it is physically painful to think about#What i would've given for Jeremiah Valeska to have been a Doom Patrol writer's musing!!!!!!!#but anyway Doom Patrol is an insane insane story. Simply one of the most intelligent complex narratives#to have been portrayed on TV in the past 5 years. This series has A FUCKING LOT to say and it does not fucking stutter#And it's got the only female characters i want to hear about in TV shows; these are my girls my kind of women#Like 5 episodes in and i dont even treat this production as a TV show it's more like a movement manifesto#and it's so brutal so refreshing so tender and heartfelt and so real#literally a TV show that makes you glad to be its audience. holy fucks!!!#checked A03 and it has about 600 fics i think?? because of course it does#this thing is SO FUCKING PACKED and too intelligent for the average viewer lol i geniunely have no idea how is this show real#IN DC UNIVERSE!!!!!#and i'll forever weep about Gotham TV not getting Doom Patrol's writing team like JESUS THIS HURTS#so anyway i have immense love for Doom Patrol it's a part of my identity now#Doom patrol

Signs and Wonders Bear Witness
1 When Yeshua had finished instructing His twelve disciples, He went on from there to teach and preach in their towns. 2 Now when John heard in prison about the works of the Messiah, he sent word through his disciples 3 and said to Yeshua, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”
4 Yeshua replied, “Go report to John what you hear and see: 5 the blind see and the lame walk, those with tzara’at are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised and the poor have good news proclaimed to them. 6 Blessed is the one who is not led to stumble because of Me.”
A Prophet Without Honor
7 Now as they were leaving, Yeshua began to talk to the crowd concerning John. “What did you go out to the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? 8 No? So what did you go out to see? A man dressed in finery? Look, those who wear finery are in the palaces of kings! 9 Then what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, even more than a prophet. 10 This is the one about whom it is written,
‘Behold, I send My messenger before You, who will prepare Your way before You.’
11 “Amen, I tell you, among those born of women, none has arisen greater than John the Immerser. Yet the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 From the days of John the Immerser until now, the kingdom of heaven is treated with violence, and the violent grasp hold of it. 13 For all the prophets and the Torah prophesied until the time of John. 14 And if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah who is to come. 15 He who has ears, let him hear!
16 “But to what shall I compare this generation? It’s like children sitting in the marketplaces who call to one other, saying,
17 ‘We played the flute for you, but you did not dance. We wailed, but you did not mourn.’
18 “For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon!’ 19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is vindicated by her deeds.”
20 Then Yeshua began to denounce the towns where most of His miracles had happened, because they did not turn from their sins. 21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have turned long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 Nevertheless I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the Day of Judgment than for you. 23 And you, Capernaum? Will you be lifted up to heaven? No, you will go down to Sheol! For if the miracles done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. 24 Nevertheless I tell you that it will be more bearable for the land of Sodom on the Day of Judgment than for you.”
Yeshua Teaches the Ways of His Father
25 At that time Yeshua said in response, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and of earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and discerning and revealed them to infants. 26 Yes, Father, for this way was pleasing to You.
27 “All things have been handed over to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him. 28 Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and ‘you will find rest for your souls.’ 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” — Matthew 11 | Tree of Life Version (TLV) Tree of Life Translation of the Bible. Wrapped in Love
MEMORY VERSE OF THE WEEK
=======================
+ Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways, submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
=======================
VERSE OF THE DAY
======================
+ Luke 2:7 And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no place for them in the inn.
=======================
** SAY THIS BEFORE YOU READ; HERE’S SOME CHRISTIAN TRUTHS **
I AM STRONG
I AM FEARLESS
I AM COURAGEOUS
I AM LISTENING
======================
READ TIME: 9 Minutes & 6 Seconds
======================
THOUGHTS:
======================
So, we can debate when Jesus was born and fuss about whether Christmas isn’t his birthday, but today, we are focusing on Jesus and his birth; his birth was incredible, and how he came into this world was amazing. God used a virgin to bring his son into the world, someone that was pure for a pure human being; Jesus was confirmed through different verses in the Bible that he was coming to the world.
• Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
•Jeremiah 23:5: “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land
•Hosea 11:1 When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son
Jesus came here for the sinner, when he was born his birth was done not with royal linen or gold everywhere he was simply born in a manger. “Luke 2:7 And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no place for them in the inn.
A lot of us need all these things before we do anything, but not Jesus; he just needed a place to enter, and he did. and as he grew, he grew to do his father's work even as a child, his parents lost him one day because he wanted to teach. He told his mother I was about my father's business; he knew then what his calling was.
Luke 2:49-50 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
Do you know your calling? Do you know that Jesus called us all to do something? My calling might not look like yours, but we all are called to do something amazing in his name. Jesus knew what he must do; you see that he must be about his father’s business, which means he must teach and save the world; a lot of us don’t want to do his will; we don’t want to do the calling he has placed on us because we feel we can’t do it, but when God placed a calling on us he will give us the strength and power to do it, our power is finite, but he is infinite.
Verse 52: Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and all the people.
His wisdom grew as he grew, and many people were astonished by what he knew because he grew up locally in the town, and some saw him as just Jesus, the carpenter’s boy.
Matthew 13:55;57 Then they scoffed, “He’s just the carpenter’s son, and we know Mary, his mother, and his brothers—James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas. (57) They were deeply offended and refused to believe in him.
As he was here, many people refused to listen to him; they were offended he was even teaching; they felt he couldn’t be the Messiah because he was the son of a carpenter. No matter where you come from or your past sins, God wants to use you; a lot of people don’t understand our journey, a lot of people don’t understand the passion you have for the love of God, but that’s okay what’s the most important thing is God, not our emotions leading us.
John 15:6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire, and burned
This week, we learned about our connection with God and how we must continue to have a stable connection with God and how to do this, we must pray and read our word; a lot of us don’t want to go through this and put the time in with God, we want all the blessing, but not the blesser we want all the gift but no studying and God wants us to always be in our word.
James 1:12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
When we start to study and allow God to use us, we will be attacked, but we shouldn’t be surprised because of what Jesus went through. Jesus had people who were cruel to him, but he still pushed forward through the words and mistreatment, and we must do the same.
Psalm 62:5 For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.”
While we are going through it, we must know we aren’t alone; it might feel like it , but we aren’t. God wants us always to know we are never alone and that we can wait on him! I can be in the worst place in my life, and I know he understands me, and I know that he won’t allow me to endure by myself.
Joseph endured so much, but the lord was with him every step of the way. God made sure he had favor even with people around him; when we allow God to use us and we walk in him, he will make our enemies our footstool; a lot of us won’t wait for God to move; we do it ourselves, and we should always wait on God in our hard time.
Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
Fear can make us feel like we are all alone, but fear is a tactic the enemy uses to keep us stagnant in the plan of God; sometimes, we can think we are moving, but we aren’t because we have allowed fear to take over sure plenty of people in the Bible, we’re afraid. Still, they didn’t let their fears stop them from doing the will of God. We must stop allowing fear to run our lives and start letting God control what’s happening in our lives; when we let God conquer our fears, we can better handle what’s happening around us.
*** Today, we reviewed what we learned this week about the birth of Jesus. Jesus was born in a manger. A lot of us wouldn’t set foot in a manger, but he did; he was born there, the lord wanted when he came into this world that it be simple, and it was, he could’ve came into this world draped in gold, and in the best place to stay in but that would’ve taken away from the beauty of who he is and why he came here.
As he got older, he started to do what he was called to do, and many of us know our calling, but because it’s not what we want, we refuse to do it. God has called us all to do something in our lives, whether to preach, teach, or be an usher; whatever it is, we must do it for his glory.
We might be fearful of what that is and fearful of doing it, but whatever he’s given to us, we can do it in his strength, not our own. We do it in him and for him; that’s why we must ask for a fresh anointing to go into the world and teach about him every day. We all have been afraid, but we can all conquer it if we keep our hand in his hand. If you feel that you have allowed fear to take over or have a calling on your life that you haven’t started, go and talk to God today, and he will extinguish all your fears and point you in the right direction. ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee

PRAYER
=====================
Heavenly Father, thank you for today, thank you for giving us , health, and strength. Lord, we need you so severely we ask you to be with us and help us to understand that you can conquer anything that comes our way; Lord, we ask you to give us a fresh anointing so that we may teach the way you want us to teach preached the way you want to preach we do everything in your will. We can’t do it alone. We ask you right now to cover us in your blood, help us to apply this lesson to our lives, and help us to be more like you in Jesus' name, amen.

In Psalm 50 God says “You thought I was like you.”
In Isaiah 55 He says to forsake our own thoughts
- He says His thoughts and ways are not like our thoughts and ways, but much higher.
As I grew in my understanding of this it increased my trust in His heart. This kind of faith comes from hearing the Word of God with the heart. (Do a word study on Romans 10:17)
That’s why we do not often understand what He does, or allows - or what prayers He seems not to answer. He sees what we do my see, and this kind of understanding comes from only Him by revelation of His Word and maturing through having our minds renewed. (Do a word study on Roman’s 12:2)
In divine wisdom - beyond anything we could ever imagine - God, through Jesus (John 1:3), created this whole universe and everything in it.
……He created it to work together perfectly and in a certain, holy way. Because He understood we are human, He left us instructions. He knew that if we thought He was like us, or followed our own way - things would not go well for us at all, and His desire was that we would be blessed with abundant life in every way.
……Yet many refuse to pick up the instructions and learn to know and understand them. And unfortunately, many think they already do. (1 Corinthians 8:2) And many think that if something makes them happy then surely it has to be in God’s mind, but fail to know God’s mind through His Word, so most times they are wrong.
You are free to create your own Jesus if you want to - one who thinks like you do - but that’s not the Jesus that saves. And, in your freedom, if that’s the way you choose to live your life, then one day the true Messiah of the Bible will say “depart from me, I never knew you.” (Matthew 7:22-24)
Then what good did it do for you to follow your imagined Jesus?
To know God we must know His Word. (John 1:1, 1 Corinthians 2:16) He wants to write it on our heart (Hebrews 10:16) - and in so doing, change our core nature by renewing our minds with it to be like Him. (Romans 12:2, 2 Corinthians 3:18)
After 61 years of life, and 41 years of walking with Him, the single most important thing I have learned is how the MOST important thing is to devotionally read and study God’s written word daily. Tuck it deep in our heart where the Holy Spirit can bring it to my mind when I need it. (John 14:26)
The more I have become grounded in His Word, the more it comes to me like that just as He promised. It has been saving me from deceiving doctrines and the voice of the enemy who likes to speak lies over and over.
The more I have studied it, and read it, and loved it - the more I have noticed right away when something does not line up with it… sometimes it is in His whisper, and more like an uneasiness that takes me longer to grasp - but He has never failed me. (1 Kings 19:11)
The first thing the devil will try to take from us is our time in the Word because even HE knows how powerful it makes us against his shenanigans and lying words. Those who are deceived, are deceived because they lack a love for the truth, and secondly they lack time with God in a genuine devotional study of His Word. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10)
2 Thessalonians talks about a great deception that will come on the whole world, and only the love of the truth will be able to save us from it. To love the truth is to want it more than we want our own truth. It is to want to know if we are wrong, and it is a desire to know the truth even if we think we might hate it.
It is for the truth to be most important - over being right - over our pride - over all of it.
Tell me, what do we have without it??
What good is a lie?
In the end what will anything matter if we have not followed the truth?! (Jeremiah 5:31)
One day all the stuff we do every day will be gone, and all that will be left is what we have with Him.
So make sure that you are safe when the end comes. Pray every day to love and to know the truth and stay abiding in His Word.
Please do not neglect spending time daily in His Word. Your spiritual life and your eternity depends on it.
When we put Him first - before all that we have to do each day (even if it means getting up even earlier) - it’s like He miraculously multiplies the time in our day. He makes sure we have time for all that we need to do, and then some, when we put Him first. (Matthew 6:33)
Now there definitely will be times that you will find that not be the case - in those times the Lord allows us to be tested. (James 1:3, Revelation 3:10)
The enemy will try to discourage us at times to try to keep us out of the Word. Fight that with every bit of determination you can muster and pray for strength, because on the other side of that testing is blessing beyond your imagination. (Matthew 4:4)
I went through a time about 10 years ago, where it seemed that every time I tried to create a routine of putting Him first in my day, literally something bad would happen!! It got to the point where I was actually scared to pick up my Bible and press in because I didn’t know what might happen next…… that went on for several months!
Eventually, after a whole lot of prayer, God showed me it was the enemy. He challenged me to push forward in spite of him, ensuring me that no matter what the enemy threw at me He would always be right there to help. And He allowed me to become desperate enough for Him that I finally threw caution to the wind and I dove in head first as deep as I could go. I can testify to you this day that since THAT day I have never turned back or given in to anymore tormenting attacks of the enemy - and God has blessed me. As far as I am given strength to control it, nothing will ever keep me from His Word again. It is life. (John 6:63, Deuteronomy 32:47)
There are so many more scriptures I want to share, but this has gotten pretty long, so I will just make some pictures with them. 😁
“His words are like kisses,
His kisses are like words.
Everything about him
delights and thrills me, through and through.”
(Song of Solomon)

The Three Angels Messages Lesson 02: No Sympathy for the Devil
Revelation 14:8 - And another angel followed, saying, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”
The second angel’s message seems very complicated at first. It definitely deals with a lot of symbols. In order to understand this Bible verse, let’s take a closer look at the following keywords:
Babylon
Fallen
Wine
Wrath
Fornication
Let’s read together Genesis 9:7-17; Genesis 10:10; Genesis 11:1-4; Isaiah 14:13-14; and Daniel 1:2.
If we are to talk about Babylon, we need to also discuss Babel. Both kingdoms were founded in the land of Shinar. Babel can be considered the archetype for all the worldly kingdoms that followed it.
The story of the Tower of Babel is one of the most famous stories in the Bible. Have you ever considered the builders’ motivations for building the tower in the first place?
The builders did not trust God’s promise to never destroy the world again with a flood. They wanted to survive another flood on their own power.
The builders also did not want to follow God’s command to be fruitful and multiply across the earth. Rather, they wanted to build a tower whose “top is in the heavens” and make a name for themselves. The builders seem to be motivated by pride and perhaps to even take the worship of God for themselves.
Let’s read together Exodus 20:2-6; 1 Chronicles 9:1; Jeremiah 16:18; Jeremiah 50:38; and Daniel 3:1-7.
The story of Daniel’s three friends and the fiery furnace is another well-known Bible story. Have you considered what was Nebuchadnezzar’s motivation for setting up the golden image in the first place? He wanted everyone in his empire to acknowledge Babylon as supreme, even over any god his subjects might be worshiping. If anyone refused to bow before Nebuchadnezzar’s golden idol, they were to be killed by being tossed into a fiery furnace.
Nebuchadnezzar had essentially set up a false religious system of worship enforced by civil authority. This system forced people to choose between dying for their religious faith or to compromise that faith in order to live.
Let’s read together 2 Samuel 1:27; Isaiah 21:9; Jeremiah 51:8-9, 47; Daniel 5:25-30; and Revelation 18:2.
“Babylon is fallen, is fallen.” God ultimately judged Babylon for its idolatry and persecution of God’s people. Babylon was conquered by the Medo-Persians in 539 BC.
Let’s read together Proverbs 20:1; 23:29-35; 31:3-5; and Jeremiah 51:7.
Alcoholic wine in the Bible is always viewed in a negative light. Alcoholic wine clouds and even perverts judgment. Note that the Bible does talk about unfermented non-alcoholic wine more positively, but that is a Bible study for another time.
Let’s read Psalm 75:8; Jeremiah 23:15; and Hosea 4:11-12
Prophetically speaking, wine also represents God’s judgment against wickedness and idolatry. You definitely do not want to drink this wine!
Let’s read together Exodus 15:6-7; 32:9-12; Numbers 11:33; 16:46; Deuteronomy 9:7-8; 2 Kings 22:13-17; Ezra 5:12; Jeremiah 44:7-9; and Romans 1:18.
What is wrath? The Merriam-Webster Dictionary offers two definitions that are relevant to our Bible study today. Wrath can be defined as a “strong vengeful anger or indignation (anger aroused by something unjust, unworthy, or mean).” Wrath can also be defined as “retributory punishment for an offense or a crime; divine punishment.”
God’s wrath is His response to sin. In the Old Testament, God’s wrath consumed the Egyptian army chasing the children of Israel. God’s wrath was also aroused when the children of Israel committed sins or fell into idolatry. God’s wrath led to the destruction of the temple of Jerusalem and the Babylonian captivity.
Let’s read together Psalm 21:8-9; Zephaniah 1:1-18; Matthew 3:7; Luke 3:7; Romans 2:5; Ephesians 5:6; and Colossians 3:6.
God’s wrath is also associated with judgment. God’s wrath will be poured in full on the unrighteous at Judgment Day.
Let’s read together Numbers 16:46; 2 Chronicles 12:6-9; 32:25-26; Psalms 78:32-39: 85:2-4; and 106:23.
Despite what many people believe, God does not want to pour His wrath on people. In the Old Testament, Aaron and Moses both interceded on behalf of the children of Israel to avert God’s wrath. God is willing to spare sinners from His wrath when they humble themselves before Him. Whether it was the people of Israel or a king like Hezekiah, God was willing to grant mercy to all who came to Him earnestly and asked forgiveness of their sins.
Let’s read together Isaiah 53:4-6, 10; John 3:16, 36; Romans 5:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:9; and 1 John 4:10.
God has done everything He could to shield us from His wrath. God loves us so much that He gave His only son Jesus to die for our sins. Jesus is our ultimate intercessor. We only have to confess and repent of our sins and call upon Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
Let’s read together Ezekiel 23:16-18; Hosea 4:11-12; Isaiah 23:17; and John 8:41.
What is fornication? The Merriam-Webster Dictionary gives the definition as “sexual intercourse between two persons who are not married to each other.”
The Bible likened God’s people (the church) to a woman (Jeremiah 6:2). Paul the Apostle described the church as the bride of Christ (Ephesians 5:22-33). Therefore, spiritual fornication would be the church embracing someone or something other than Christ. In the Old Testament times, the people of Israel strayed from God and worshiped various idols and other false gods.
Let’s read together Matthew 24:24; John 4:24; 2 Timothy 3:1-5; 1 John 2:15-23; Revelation 17:1-6; and Revelation 18:3, 9.
The book of the Bible describes a harlot woman who represents a false worship of Christ. This church outwardly seems Christian, but in actuality, it does not follow Jesus in spirit and truth. Many people will be deceived and fall into Babylon.
Let’s read together Deuteronomy 31:19 and Revelation 18:1-8.
What does the second angel’s message mean?
All false systems of worship will be judged. Salvation by works, the idea you can make it to heaven on your own merits, cannot save you. Salvation in sin, the idea that once you are saved, you are always saved, will lead you to be lost. All these forms of worship will lead you to Babylon.
Even if you are worshiping at the “right” church the “right” way, you can have Babylon in your heart. If you harbor pride in your heart or you esteem anything in the world more than God, then you are in spiritual Babylon.
If you find yourself in Babylon, what are you to do? God wants you to leave Babylon right now! Jesus is calling you to worship Him in spirit and in truth. He does not want you to face God’s wrath. Repent and turn to Christ your Savior!
Friend, will you share the second angel’s message with others?

Griz the Bear Leads Cal to Big Game Win
Golden Bears Continue to Own Stanford
PALO ALTO - It may not have been quite as dramatic as Chase Garbers' game-winning touchdown run in 2019, but Trond Grizzell - a walk-on who had played a grand total of one career snap heading into this season - added "Big Game Hero" to his growing resume on Saturday.
The Cal wide receiver caught two touchdown passes - part of a career-defining performance - and the California football team won its third Big Game in a row with a 27-15 triumph over Leland Stanford Junior University at Stanford Stadium. The game was even more lopsided than the score indicated, as a successful 2 point conversion by the Bears was erroneously negated by the referees and a last minute sure touchdown was sacrificed by Jaydn Ott (who decided to take a knee instead at the five-yard line to burn clock instead of score) which would have made the score at least 36-15.
Grizzell caught scoring passes of 9 and 54 yards and finished with career-highs of seven catches and 136 receiving yards, as the Golden Bears won the Big Game for the fourth time in five years, the longest win streak by California since the Jeff Tedford era. Cal has also not lost at Stanford since 2017. But perhaps more importantly for the Bears than their mastery over their rivals down on The Farm is the fact that they remained bowl-eligible with the win.
"It was a big day - dare you say, 'Big Game Hero'," Travers Family Head Coach Justin Wilcox said. "He's going to be in the conversation. From a year ago, Trond has made as big a jump as anybody. He cares deeply about football and the team. It matters to him, and it's great to see a guy like that who puts in the work."
Grizzell's touchdown grabs helped the Bears (5-6, 3-5 Pac-12) establish a 14-3 lead early in the second quarter. He also caught a 21-yard pass from quarterback Fernando Mendoza on a 4th-and-7 play in the fourth quarter that helped sustain a game-clinching scoring drive.
"Trond is a special player," said Mendoza, who won his first Big Game as Cal's starting quarterback. "He's a vertical threat, so we had a couple of plays drawn up for him. I regard Trond as one of my best friends. We built amazing chemistry together. So when he's out there, I trust that I know what he's going to do."
Mendoza also set career-highs with 294 passing yards and three touchdowns, while running back Jaydn Ott was a workhorse with 166 rushing yards on a career-high 36 carries. Ott also went over the 2,000-yard rushing mark for his career (2,079).
"There are a lot of people who are part of this game. I've seen grown men on the field crying real tears," Ott said. "It means a lot. I got to see it last year, so I knew coming into this game how much it meant to people. I'm glad we came out on top."
Ott scored on a 1-yard touchdown run midway through the third quarter to help Cal build a 21-6 lead, but the Cardinal answered back with a Hail Mary pass (and its only touchdown of the game) to cut it to 21-12. They then managed to hit a second very long field goal (of 53 yards - they had earlier scored on a 50 yarder) near the end of the third quarter, but would get no closer as the Bears proceeded to grind yards and pull away.
California put together the pivotal drive of the game, marching 75 yards on 13 plays and scoring the game-clinching touchdown on an 8-yard pass from Mendoza to Jeremiah Hunter early in the fourth quarter. After Stanford failed to answer and turned the ball over on downs, the Golden Bears managed to burn nearly 7 minutes of clock on their last drive - including Ott's unselfish play of breaking away for a sure touchdown run but stopping at the 5 yard line and taking a knee with a little over a minute left in the game. "I didn't need to score again," Ott said. "I would rather not give them back the ball then just make another touchdown."
"It's a huge win - obviously for the team's goals but also the Cal community, the players, the student body," Wilcox said. "I don't know there's a better 30 minutes to an hour in the year than when you win the Big Game and retain the Axe. It's a great feeling and I want the guys to enjoy it."
Wilcox improved his coaching record in the Big Game to four wins with only two losses - one of which happened in a 24-23 heartbreaker in 2020 where the Bears had more than half their starters out due to strict Covid protocols from the University during the pandemic, while Stanford kept out no players for the contest. It was later revealed that more than a dozen of the Cardinal starters had tested positive either immediately before or shortly after the game.
The Golden Bears close out the regular season on Saturday at UCLA at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN. Cal will be going for their third win in a row and will become bowl-eligible with a victory.

Code Geass Lost Stories Banner List
For Japan version list banner, you can go here but it's Japanese language (lol) and having a different date than eng version so you can adjust it. Small event like expedition event are weeks range while large event like seasonal and story event are two weeks range.
There's some banner needs to mention in term of usefulness and/or unusual KMF (banner time below already adjusted for eng version) :
Knight of Round Banner (include in normal banner later) at half Nov'23
Exclude the pilots, it's banner KMF are strong especially Tristan and Modred. Tristan can hit three enemies horizontally while Modred hit hard wide and having a new range KMF are good for later date too-
Euphemia's Melancholy Banner (limited event) at Des'23
Cornelia newest range pilot here is really good since eventhough it's specialist type, she can increase DP by 11 and can blow enemies within her range (it's like MC daily skill) plus her redeployment time reduced by 30%. So her usefulness lie on place in and out~
Chapter 8 Banner (include in normal banner later) at Des'23/Jan'24
Put aside his Lancelot flying type KMF, he can become melee or range pilot but I prefer use him as range since he attack fast (I have him level max in JP acc and keep saving my ass in most extra stage). Plus he shread enemies defense by 40% for 20s and even giving himself 50% HP shield what's more his redeployment time are fast too.
Haloween Banner (limited event) at Jan'24
Lelouch newest range pilot here are useful to protect your team without get hit by far for 20s plus his redeployment time reduce by 15% means if the 20s are up, you can take him and redeploy again at faster rate means increase survival rate without healer and dispose those annoying cannon gunner attack from far enemies.
Christmas Banner (limited event) at Mar'24
Kallen and Suzaku newest card here is especially strong in their own ways. Kallen melee pilots can pull enemies to her which means if she combined by Cornelia's blow up enemies pilot, you can finish the stage easily.
While for Suzaku assault type can be placed as melee or range, increased deploy cost and can hit 5 enemies at same time
Chapter 12 Banner (include in normal banner later) at Apr'24
Jeremiah melee pilot + Siegfried KMF have a big HP and defense even without receive any buff so you won't worries on him dying on process~
Chapter 1.5 part 1 Banner (include in normal banner later) at Jun'24
This Suzaku aside the fact having Lancelot air version, he's practically a raw damage dealer monster. The minus point is just high cost deployment so better brought many lower cost deployment for him Euphie from chapter 11 banner is the best combo for him
KMF Scene 6 Banner (limited banner) at Jul'24
When I just talked about Suzaku big cost deployment above, this Cornelia have an effect to reduce the next deploy character cost after her up to 50%.
Aditional Mentionable : Every Suzaku with KMF Lancelot basically precious so don't waver pulling on him (lol)
I stop here since if I gonna be honest, I can't see the reasons eng version will lasted long kowtow deeply
#code geass lost stories#for me well~#I'm into kmf variations and some good arts (lol)#I just pull for CC summer so don't know if can pull for gino or anya
