Nanci and I were blessed to have the opportunity to attend the October 2018 Copic Boot Camp in Arizona with Jennifer Dove and her talented team.
We learned so much and had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people and have creative fun. Creating 12-13 hours each day helped us focus and learn while having a blast! 🙂
We wanted to share some photos of our experience to hopefully inspire you to create and have fun!

Idea by Jennifer Dove, the Copic Queen!
I wanted to share a step-by-step overview for those who have aluminum Copic Cases and with to remove the lid to enable the case to be propped up for easy access to the markers. Hopefully this will help others to see just how easy it is and have confidence to do one of your own. 🙂
Supplies
Copic Aluminum Case from www.overstock.com
Copic Marker Storage Organizer insert from Our Gray Barn on etsy.com for Copic Art Carrying Case
Lift Off Hinges from www.pennelcomonline.com Penn Elcom item #0625Z
The hinges that come with the aluminum case work well, but if you wish to prop up the case to get access to the markers

the lid will close or need to be propped open.
Installing removable hinges is easy. Gently pull back foam liner.
Drill out the hinge fastener from the inside of the case.
Top holes were fully drilled out. Bottom (first ones I tried, weren’t). It’s better to drill out the fastener completely then the hinge simply falls off.
It’s important to align the hinge and mark the new holes needed. Drill out the new holes.
Insert pop rivets into the new holes to fasten the hinges to the case.
After the hinges are mounted, re-adhere the foam liner with glue.
The case is now attached with the removable hinges.
Simply tilt and pull away. Now ou can prop up the case and easily access the marker.
