There's something quite Renaissance meets Disney princess in an autumnal wood meets modern trend look to this outfit. Which is to say that its mix of aesthetics to create something uniquely, delightfully 'off' but wonderful is what makes it a quintessential Taylor look.

In particular, the combination of a smaller indie brand like Ancosti, with a designer bag, and a trend-forward piece like a chunky sole boot is the embodiment of Taylor's personal approach to fashion - a blend that is her own.

Speaking of the designer bag, Taylor is not a stranger to an LV monogram print bag. But this particular one - from the Fall 2023 runway - is her smallest so far. Her first was a larger tote from a limited collaboration with Christian Louboutin back in 2015. The second was a boxier 'Cruiser' she wore during some whirlwind summer travel in 2016. Here, she downsizes to a cute pocket-sized bag with the added refreshing factor of the contrast Reverse Monogram colourway that I think ties in neatly to the autumnal palette going on. And yes, I'm a proponent of mixing black and brown.

In the case of the black in this outfit - in a past life, Taylor may have worn this dress with flat, knee high boots. Or sky high nude pumps. Or two tone brogues (maybe a cream and cognac brown combo?). But here we see a nod to todays trends with a heavy, black, chunky sole stomp-worthy boot. Proof of the power of styling and accessorizing to truly change a look completely.

i stumbled across some photos of karlie from a couple of months ago (maybe from last year too) and saw what looks like a body chain, did she wear the same one as taylor? jacquie aiche?

she has a jennifer zeuner necklace that looks like a body chain because it has a strand that drops down very long, which she has worn a few times

but separate from that there is a jewelry piece that has been identified by a fan blog as being jacquie aiche (once again not a body chain but a necklace with a long dropping strand, so it’s not the same piece as what taylor has worn, but potentially same brand) but for me personally i haven’t seen a photo clear enough to support the identification. the photos i’ve seen don’t look jacquie aiche-y to me. maybe they reached out to ja to ask or something? but here is the id, if you’re interested!

do you have any favourite jewellery recommendations? my birthday's coming up and i really want to buy a necklace/ring that i like and is quality, i am a fan of gold jewellery if that helps (im warm toned)

If I'm honest, most of the jewelry I wear is either pieces other people have given me or just from Etsy or Pavoi on Amazon. But I would check out Mejuri - it has lots of minimalist, good quality, wearable, sustainable gold pieces, and it's been worn by people like Selena Gomez, Hailey Bieber, and Olivia Rodrigo. Gorjana is another brand you might want to look at, especially if you like layering pieces. Catbird is good if you like dainty pieces, and as a bonus, it's women-run and the jewelry is mostly made out of recycled gold. For something more unique, Local Eclectic is a women-run company that's a great place to find up-and-coming jewelry designers from around the world. A couple others to check out are Aurate, Jennifer Zeuner, Monica Vinader, Stone & Strand, Astrid & Miyu, Adornmonde, Jenny Bird, Maison Miru, Martha Calvo, KELM, Sandraalexandra, Éliou, and Completedworks.
