#Jellystone fleegle

So this is mainly a au thing that I made that ties the different renditions of the banana splits together starting from their original show and going to the events of the horror movie and then finally to Jellystone. Fleegle is the only one of the splits that remembers what they did back at the studio and feels guilt ridden over it since he feels like he’s responsible for it all cause he’s the leader. He often has flashbacks of what happened as well as nightmares. So in this au they were still anthro characters instead of robots so they were seen as props more than living beings by the humans since in this world people often treat anthro characters like circus acts. Drooper used to be in the circus back before he was apart of the banana splits and had issues with how they were being treated by the studio so that’s why it was actually him to start the killings which he was able to convince Snorky and Bingo to join in on before they even so much as let Fleegle know about till it was too late to stop them. That’s why he helped with killing off any witnesses. Oh and in this au they weren’t trying to hold kids hostage in the basement of the studio they let the kids go unharmed since they had no reason to want to kill any of the audience unless they had to. The reason they’re now a gang in jellystone is cause they now live a life on the run and Fleegle found it was the best course of action to keep providing for the four of them since they now had nothing after fleeing from the police after the incident at the studio. I have so much more on this au but I wanted to share sorta the basic concept and see if anyone’s interested in the concept.

I freaking hate the Banana Splits as they appeared in Jellystone now! Factually, definitively!

I watched their first episode with Shag, came out pleasantly surprised. That episode was okay, not good, but okay. It seemed as though the splits would be good.

Only for Jellystone to throw their likability out the window and make them the pettiest, pricks of all time. They vandalize with mustard, they paint fruits the wrong colors, they're just dicks. The original banana splits would never do all this! They make the animatronics seem not as bad now. I watched the episode where El Kabong's guitar got destroyed. That episode is what made me hate them. I think the banana splits are one of the worst things to come out of the show, fanart notwithstanding.

This meme perfectly captures my feelings for these guys. DON'T WATCH JELLYSTONE FOR THE BANANA SPLITS, WATCH THE ORIGINALS. Hell, watch THAT movie. I don't care, these guys suck harder than Mildew's life.

I watched the next episode after the VIP episode, so now I can hate more accurately!

Fleegle I hate the most! He's a war criminal and I will not let him walk away without bringing this to light!

*coughcough* Your daily reminder that yes, the Banan Splits movie was shit [ik that for a fact, but I like it anyways] BUT... it's still a split-based piece of media!! Don't hate on it, use it as inspiration! Write how YOU would have done a movie [horror or not]. Or maybe, like me and probably a couple of other people, make an Actors AU [where nothing bad actually happened, it was all just an in universe film the Splits made]. I get it, it ruined their reputation n stuff- BUT- if you really want the future to know the REAL splits, then keep posting things from the original series and reboots. I just think the movie gets way too much hatred- I hate how much it reminds me of myself back when I had thought we were getting a fnaf movie and instead got Willy's Wonderland.
