The Ultimate Guide to Finding Chrysler 300 and Jeep Spare Parts in Your Area
Access to good spares is very critical for maintenance and improvement of your Chrysler 300 or Jeep. Only proper parts can guarantee vehicle performance, life, and safety, whether it be a Chrysler 300, a Chrysler 300C, or even a Jeep. This guide will help you in the world of Chrysler 300 spares, Chrysler 300C spares, Chrysler 300 parts for sale, Chrysler 300 spare parts, Chrysler 300C breakers, Chrysler 300C parts for sale, Chrysler 300C spare parts, Chrysler parts for sale, and finding Jeep spare parts near you.
The Need to Use Genuine Spare Parts
Genuine spare parts are important for a number of reasons:
Because they are tailor-made for your vehicle, you can get the best performance out of your vehicle. Safety: Genuine parts meet all the manufacturer's safety standards. Durability: Authentic parts are more durable and will, therefore, save you much more in the long run. Searching for Chrysler 300 Spares and Chrysler 300C Spares For all owners of Chrysler 300, getting the right spare parts is what would keep their car on the right road to its feel of luxury with exciting powerful performance. Here's what you need to know:
Look for reputed dealers who can sell you a slew of different Chrysler 300 parts. Online marketplaces and stores that specialize in auto parts generally maintain large inventories.
Chrysler 300 Spare Parts: Check to find out if the spare parts are genuine and if they have a warranty attached. This will guarantee the reliability as well as the compatibility of the part for your vehicle.
Chrysler 300C Breakers: Breakers yards, otherwise known as auto dismantlers, are godsend in getting those elusive parts. Businesses involved in this area reclaim usable parts from damaged vehicles and sell them at a fraction of new component prices.
Chrysler 300C Parts for Sale: If you are going to look for parts, consider brand-new ones and recon ones. Recon parts provide the same good quality at substantially lower prices.
Chrysler 300C Spare Parts: Many run-of-the-mill servicing replacement items like filters, brakes, and suspension parts are easily available and do need to be replaced with the real thing to preserve the integrity of a vehicle.
Chrysler Parts for Sale: Casting a Wider Search
Beyond a particular Chrysler 300 or 300C, casting an even wider net on general Chrysler parts for sale can still be helpful:
Online Retailers: eBay and Amazon often have listings for new and used Chrysler parts.
Specialist Sites: Those dealing in specifically Chrysler parts will have more focused inventories and at times offer expert advice.
Local Auto Parts Stores: By going to a local store, a person has the chance to inspect the parts before buying to ensure that the standards set for the parts are fit.
Jeep Spare Parts Near Me: Finding Quality Components
A Jeep owner should understand that his vehicle needs strong, reliable parts for off-road exploring and daily driving. The question now is how to get high-quality Jeep spare parts near you:
Local Dealerships: Factory-authorized Jeep dealerships can directly order parts in for you from the manufacturer. Sometimes a bit more on the expensive side but you can be absolutely sure it is an original type replacement part.
Auto Parts Chains: AutoZone and NAPA Auto Parts are just two examples of auto parts retailers with large inventories of Jeep parts. They can also special order most items they don't normally carry.
Specialty Jeep Shops: Still, other shops work strictly with Jeeps, offering both new and used parts with related installation service.
Online Communities: If searching for any spare parts, jeep forums and Facebook groups can help in finding them by recommending where to buy locally.
Dodge Spare Parts Near Me: Ensuring Compatibility
For the owners of Dodge, particularly the high performance variants, the correct spare parts are the only way to ensure the vehicle capabilities are retained :
Dodge Dealerships: Just like Jeep, franchised dealerships have a guaranteed supply of genuine parts.
Performance Shops: These are for high-performance vehicles and can offer both stock and aftermarket; Online Marketplaces: The sites specific to spare Dodge parts normally have well-developed directories in which you are likely to get the exact part that you desire.
Tips on Buying Spare Parts
Research: Know what you want and whether it can work well on your model.
Compare Prices: Do not be carried away by the first price given. Compare between different options.
Check reviews, which might help in building an understanding of the reliability of the seller and quality of the parts.
Warranty: Make sure that warranty or guarantee comes with the parts.
Maintaining your Chrysler 300, Chrysler 300C, Jeep, or Dodge needs one to have access to reliable spare parts. Only knowing exactly where and what to look out for may keep your vehicle in top condition. Be it spares for Chrysler 300, Chrysler 300C, Chrysler parts for sale, or Jeep and Dodge spare parts in your area, these steps will help track down the best spares that serve your needs to a tee. Call to mind the fact that genuine parts mean long-lasting service and high performance of the vehicle.

ice-cold revelations - modern!cregan stark x fem!velaryon!reader
Tumblr media
Summary: You are in a risky secret relationship with your brother's best friend. What happens when Cregan's unexpected injury exposes your feelings? Well, isn't there somebody you forgot to ask?
Disclaimer: English isn't my first language!
Word count: 2.8k
The wind tore through the streets with a biting ferocity, tugging at (Y/N)’s skirt and making her instantly regret both her outfit choice and this entire trip to the bus stop.
“Stupid winter has to be coming,” she muttered, yanking a colorful scarf up to cover her nose. Her phone chimed in her pocket, vibrating with the familiar sound of a new message. She fumbled with one hand to pull it out, her fingers stiff from the cold.
🐺: jace wouldn’t stop bugging me about that earring under my bed
🐺: i convinced him sara must’ve left it when she crashed at our place lmao
(Y/N) raised her eyebrows, her breath fogging the air as she sighed. The last thing she needed was her brother playing the part of a suspicious rom-com wife, finding random jewelry in odd places and jumping to conclusions. At least he hadn’t figured out where he’d seen that earring before.
Jacaerys Velaryon, as much as she adored him, had a habit of being a little too protective. He was always there when she needed him. But he was also the kind of brother who, despite being only a few minutes older, seemed to think that fact gave him full control over her dating life. Any guy who so much as glanced her way was either a potential threat or one of his friends. And friends were off-limits. Too much drama, he’d say. Too awkward if things went south. Even more awkward if things somehow worked out. Conflict of interest. Absolutely not.
Which was precisely why, in the grand scheme of things, the most logical solution was for her to start dating his best friend and his hockey team captain, Cregan Stark.
Cregan was wonderful. The kind of guy who would do anything for her, no questions asked. That's what had brought them to where they were now. Hiding their relationship from her dramatic brother and quite literally gaslighting him.
Did she feel guilty? Absolutely. Did she know it would be a hundred times worse if Jace found out? Also yes.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sight of a bus speeding past the stop, tires screeching as it flew by. Her bus. Of course.
With impressive force, she pressed the green phone icon.
“Hey, sweetheart. What’s up?” Cregan answered in three seconds. Her irritation melted a little at the sound of his deep voice. Down bad.
“Hey, did you guys finish practice?”
“Yeah, just now, I couldn’t cut the boys any slack before tomorrow.”
“Any chance the strict captain could give me a ride home? I missed the bus. Or more like the bus missed me.”
“You’re kidding,” Cregan said, sympathy already thick in his voice. “Of course I’ll come get you.” He paused for a beat, then cleared his throat. “Only thing is… Jace wanted a ride too.”
“The gods are punishing me today,” she groaned.
“Call him. It'll be the same ride. Just, you know, he'll think it was his idea,” Cregan suggested.
“Are we bad people, Cregan?” she asked, half-serious now.
“Nah. He’ll find out eventually, just better if I’m in full hockey gear when it happens.”
“Fair enough,” she said, the corner of her mouth lifting in a smile. “Thanks. Love you. Bye.”
She hung up and immediately dialed her brother, requesting the same exact thing.
“Sure, you owe me one though,” he said cheerfully. “I don’t have my car today, so we’ll have to go with Stark. Is that a problem?”
“Nope.” No, her boyfriend wouldn’t be a problem.
(Y/N) Velaryon paced back and forth under the shelter of the bus stop, her boots crunching against the thin layer of frost that had already formed on the pavement. She rubbed her arms, trying to keep the cold at bay, when the familiar growl of a black Jeep Wrangler cut through the quiet. It rolled to a stop near the curb.
She jogged toward the car, her breath puffing out in small clouds, as the driver’s window slid down.
“Your chariot awaits, princess,” Cregan announced with a mock flourish.
“More like a toad,” Jace quipped from the passenger seat, his grin unmistakable.
“One more word and you’ll get my bag to the head. I’ve got half my textbooks in there,” she threatened playfully as she slid into the backseat.
The backseat of this car had witnessed many events, and that was the first thought that crossed her mind. One look at Cregan in the side mirror, and she knew he was thinking the same.
She pretended to be very engrossed in buckling her seatbelt.
“How was practice?” she asked out of politeness.
“Not bad. Stark was all business today, but it was necessary. Big day tomorrow,” Jace replied, fiddling with the radio. Cregan slapped his hand away as he slowed down for a red light.
“Great,” the girl muttered, not trusting her tongue around the two of them together.
An awkward silence fell, broken only by some random song. How long can a red light last?
“So, (Y/N),” Cregan began, drumming his fingers on the steering wheel. His voice wavered, but Jace was in his own world, watching pedestrians crossing the street. “How’s it going? How was your day?”
“Pretty good,” she replied, playing with the hem of her skirt. “Though the classes dragged on.”
The devil on her shoulder won an uneven fight with the weak angel. She smirked.
“‘M absolutely knackered.”
Cregan inhaled slowly through his nose.
“Dude, it’s green,” Jace informed him, just before the car behind them honked.
“I can see,” Cregan reassured him, finally moving forward. “I’ll need your sister’s address since I’ve never been there before.”
If Jace had one more brain cell, he wouldn’t be so easily fooled.
“Sure thing,” her brother agreed, typing the info into the GPS on his phone. “Hey, kid, are you coming to the game tomorrow?”
“How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that?” (Y/N) asked angrily, kicking his seat. “Baela’s taking me.”
“You know what I think?” Jace started, spreading his arms dramatically. “A girlfriend in the stands is such a power boost. Such a boost… I never play as well as when Baela supports me from the bleachers.”
“You never play well,” His sister muttered under her breath, but her brother was currently listening only to himself.
“Cregan wouldn’t get it,” He patted Cregan on the shoulder in the meantime. “If you combined your skills with that support, if you brought a girl, trust me, your performance would be a hundred times better.”
“Talented people don’t need superstitions to play well, Jace,” (Y/N) chimed in, leaning forward. “Besides, Cregan is single.”
“Because he’s too serious and broody, girls don’t like that,” her brother declared in a know-it-all voice. She gave him a side-eye. “He is afraid of women.”
“Are you afraid of women, Stark?” she asked seriously, barely holding back laughter.
Cregan shot her a look in the mirror, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “Terrified,” he deadpanned. “That’s why I’m thinking maybe your sister should be my good luck charm tomorrow. Just as a friend, of course.”
“Eh, it’s not the same,” Jace protested, scrunching his face.
“Don’t you believe in the power of friendship?” the driver asked with full seriousness.
“Can I get a jersey with your number?” (Y/N) batted her lashes playfully at her boyfriend.
A jersey with his number was already hanging in her closet.
“Alright, you’ll see, you need deeper feelings for it to work, otherwise it just won’t…”
Jacaerys continued his monologue all the way to her apartment. The girl sighed with relief once she was back in her room, the familiarity of it a welcome escape from the tension.
Two new messages.
🐺: you looked so pretty today
🐺: but next time wear a damn coat, or you’ll catch a cold!!!
Tumblr media
The fluorescent light above (Y/N)’s head flickered ominously, casting creepy shadows across the cramped janitor’s closet. She swore that if the bulb died completely, she'd either pee her pants or spiral into a full-blown claustrophobic meltdown. Leaning back against the wall, she tried to focus on the neatly arranged rows of brooms and mops. Soon, the door creaked open, revealing Cregan in all his glory.
Full hockey gear? Check. Helmet? Tucked under his arm. That goofy, ridiculous smile? Definitely check.
“You look so good,” she admitted, grabby hands already in the air. “Come here.”
Cregan shut the door behind him with a soft click, casting a glance at the flickering light overhead. He sighed, took one of her hands, and kissed her wrist softly.
“We have to tell your brother,” Stark said, his voice serious as he placed his helmet on the wooden shelf beside them. “It’s not right that my girl has to sneak me a good-luck kiss in a smelly closet. You should be able to strut right into the locker room.”
His girl grinned. “You’ve got your gear on,” she pointed out. “We can tell him after the game. Besides, Baela’s softening him up for us. I asked her to.”
Baela Targaryen was known for sniffing out secrets, and the second she spotted (Y/N) wearing Cregan’s jersey before the game, she didn’t even need to ask. Her knowing look said it all, and within minutes, Velaryon girl spilled the truth, enduring Baela’s delighted squeal that had probably echoed for miles.
“I knew you had high standards, girl. Going straight for the captain!” Baela teased, laughing. “Jace obviously doesn’t know? He hasn’t said anything... and Stark’s still breathing.”
Thankfully, Baela had been more than willing to help, distracting Jace so Cregan could sneak away after the pre-game pep talk. Now, Cregan was looking at (Y/N) with pride, his eyes lingering on the jersey she wore.
“She’s a real one for that,” he mused. “But seriously, we have to tell him. I want a picture of us on my lock screen, and that asshole keeps looking over my shoulder.”
She laughed, pulling him closer and kissing him hard, savoring the way his rough stubble tickled her skin.
“For now,” she murmured against his lips, “just focus on the game. You’re incredible. An amazing captain. And it’s going to go great. I believe in you.”
Cregan grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “Maybe one more kiss. Just to make sure we win.”
“The power of having a girl in the stands,” she teased, poking his chest playfully.
“Jace definitely exaggerated that theory,” Cregan confessed with a chuckle. “But honestly... I’m just glad you’re here.”
With butterflies in her stomach and a grin she couldn’t wipe off her face, (Y/N) found herself in the stands minutes later, sitting next to Baela. Her friend was watching the silent exchange of glances between her and Cregan with thinly veiled amusement.
“I always knew Jace was blind, but this is just tragic,” Baela remarked, elbowing her in the ribs. Jace, oblivious as ever, waved enthusiastically from the rink. Both girls waved back, cheering with the crowd.
“You’ll boo with me when the Dornish Spears come out, right?” (Y/N) asked.
Baela gave her a mock-serious look. “Technically, we shouldn’t. Obviously, I will,” she promised.
The game was fast, brutal, and nearly deadlocked until the very end. (Y/N) had never yelled so much in her life, though her shouts were lost in the deafening roar of the crowd. Cregan played like a man possessed, commanding the ice with his usual grace. At least twenty times during the match, she found herself holding her breath, her heart leaping into her throat with every risky play. But she knew he had it under control. He always did.
Of course they won.
The victory rippled through the stands like a wave, and (Y/N) screamed herself hoarse as the crowd erupted around her. Cregan pulled off his helmet, his eyes scanning the stands until he found her. His smile—tired and breathtaking—was for her, and her alone. She didn’t regret the ringing in her ears or the scratch in her throat for a second. Moments later, he was swept up in a sea of celebrating teammates.
“Girl, are you crying?” Baela asked, pulling her into a hug.
“I don’t know,” She sniffled. “I’m just emotional. I just like that boy so fucking much, Bae.”
“I know, honey. Come on, they’re heading off the ice. Let’s congratulate them, and then have a crazy party or something. No time for tears.”
Cregan was one of the last players to leave the ice, trailing just behind Jace. But before he could step off, the captain of the opposing team, his face twisted with anger, skated up to him. For a moment, it looked like they might talk it out. But then, it all happened too fast.
The player from Dorne shoved Cregan hard against the wall. Stark, ever the calm one, simply raised his hands in a peaceful gesture.
And then he took a fist to the face. The sickening sound of bone cracking echoed across the rink.
“What the hell is going on? Jace!” Baela shouted, holding her friend back as she tried to rush forward.
Jace jumped back onto the ice, but by the time he got there, the other team had pulled their enraged captain away. Cregan stumbled off the ice just as (Y/N) reached him.
“Are you okay? Oh gods, let me see,” she fretted, her hands hovering near his face.
“What a fucking jerk!” Jace nearly screamed, skidding to a stop by the exit. “I called for help, they’ll be here in a second.”
(Y/N) carefully moved Cregan’s hand away, revealing the damage. His face was a swollen mess, his nose clearly broken.
“Do you think they’ll make me lie face-down on the ice?” Cregan joked weakly, leaning on her for support.
“Does it hurt a lot? Maybe you should sit down. Oh shit, I can’t believe—”
“Hey, sweetheart. Calm down,” Cregan murmured, his voice soothing despite the pain. “It hurts like hell, but I’ll live.”
Just then, the medic arrived, momentarily distracting Jace. But despite the chaos, he had clearly heard what Cregan just said. For a moment, Jace stood there, his face pale as the words and the image before him sank in.
“Sweetheart?” he echoed softly, but no one paid him any attention.
“Jace, maybe now’s not the time,” Baela said gently, stepping up beside him.
“I feel physically sick,” Jace muttered, staggering to the railing for support.
The medic handed Cregan an ice pack. “Hold this to your face for a bit. I’ll get you something for the pain right away, but a doctor’s gonna have to set that nose.”
Cregan winced but smiled through it. “You might wanna check on my friend first,” he said, gesturing toward Jace. “I can wait. He looks like he’s about to pass out.”
Jace did, in fact, end up passing out.
Tumblr media
Cregan had to take a break from sports after that little adventure. He’d recovered, but now sported a slightly crooked nose—something his girlfriend found oddly hot.
(Y/N) saw his temporary recovery as the perfect chance to manipulate him into watching Teen Wolf with her every evening. After all, the title worked in her favor.
They were nestled on the couch, wrapped together in a soft gray blanket. It was their first time lounging in the living room of the apartment Cregan shared with her brother, rather than hiding behind the securely locked door of his bedroom.
It would be perfect, really. If it weren’t for Jace’s constant, deliberate trips to the kitchen and bathroom, each one an obvious reminder that he was keeping an eye on them.
“Dear Jacaerys,” (Y/N) said, her patience wearing thin, “you do know we don’t need a chaperone, right?”
Jace barely paused, shooting her a sidelong glance before muttering, “You need someone to knock the stupid ideas out of your heads,” as he slammed the bathroom door.
Cregan chuckled softly, pulling her closer. “Give him some time,” he whispered, pressing a kiss to her temple. “To be honest, I thought it would be worse. He’ll come around eventually.”
They’d already gone through several long, tension-filled conversations, with Baela stepping in as the voice of reason when things got too heated. They were careful now, avoiding anything that might provoke Jace further.
But Cregan was right—Jace was slowly coming around, even if he was still stubborn. The days of silent treatment had finally passed.
“This is on us for hiding things from him,” (Y/N) sighed, watching her brother embark on yet another purposeful long journey to the kitchen. “No more secrets now.”
“Your brother’s just looking out for you,” Cregan called out, raising his voice slightly so Jace could hear. “He doesn’t want anything bad to happen to you, and I respect that. I don’t know anyone else who cares like he does.”
Jace stopped, leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed, eyes narrowed. His lips curved into a sweet, mischievous grin.
“Yeah,” he began, drawing out the word. “So tell me sister, when are you introducing him to Mom?”

She shoves the unfamiliar weapon in your hands. A tremble consumes your body as you peek over the barrel to find your target. For a second, you see your attacker as he passes by one of the jeeps. A young man no older than yourself.
Without hesitation, you close an eye and go for his heart, but the bullet grazes the top of his shoulder with a spray of blood. Used to a bow, you aimed too high.
He barks out a swear and then lifts his rifle in retaliation. Before he can shoot, a Grey bursts through the window of the jeep, clamping down on his neck. His throat turns to gore. The gun falls from his grip as screams of pain quickly turn to muffled groans.
Relief and horror pound through your veins. That was close. Too close. You have to get Blue out of here. But how—
There is no chance to decide. Suddenly, she screams again. You whip around to meet the slash of a long knife and the flush of cold air as your coat is torn. Someone has snuck up behind you. You fumble with the gun but the attacker knocks it out of your hand, then fists your hair hard enough to make your scalp burn. It happens so fast. You can't even get a good look at him— only the wild stare of his eyes and the strength of his stature. Whoever these people are, they are certainly better fed than that man in the woods.
You thrash against him, hurling saliva at his face. Apparently, he didn't expect that because he hisses, "Fuck."
You use the distraction to grab your own knife, the only weapon on you, and blindly drive it into the taut muscle of his thigh. He howls, letting go of your hair, and you slip away just enough to dodge the next swipe of his blade.
The fight is short-lived. You've grown stronger, but not enough to fight a man. He is skilled and bulky. Your attempts to hit him are futile. His knife catches you in the forehead, sending a curtain of blood down your face, and he grabs hold of your hair once again.
"Gonna cut your throat first," he murmurs, low and gravelly. "Then your little lamb's."
He will kill you. Then her. You can't let him. You won't. Something animalistic takes hold of you. You do the only thing left you can think of— bite. Hard. The sickening taste of human flesh and hot blood fills your mouth as you rip out a chunk of his nose.
"You bitch!"
He clutches his oozing face. Blue shouts at you, her finger jutting toward something— the Grey. Done with its first meal, it draws toward the scent of fresh blood. Before your attacker can recover, you throw all your weight at him, which isn't much, but it is enough to make him lose his footing and veer into the Grey's path. It grabs hold and sinks another bite into his face.
Suddenly, two more gunshots ring out. One to the Grey's head, and the other through the man's eye. Both bodies flop dead to the ground. Before you can panic, a wild-eyed Ghost returns in long strides.
"Blue!" he bellows.
"Dad!" she yells back.
He heads straight for her, quickly dipping down to check her bandaged leg and search for any other wounds. Fear has forced her eyes to stay open, her body stiff and alert. There is a wet stain at the crotch of her jeans.
"They tried to kill us," she cries.
“I'm here, baby. I won't leave you again.”
You wipe the blood off your face and glance around, panting so hard your lungs hurt. The air reeks of carnage and gunpowder, but the firing has ceased.
"They attacked us," you speak in a raw shout. “Two of them. Did you— Are the rest gone?"
He nods. "Could be more nearby. Let's get out of here before we find out."
He slings the rifle over his shoulder and scoops up Blue without an ounce of the effort it took for you to do so.
He moves fast. Retrieving your bow, you push hard to keep up with him.
Twilight tints the sky purple. You make it past the fence and zig-zag through the medical tents when movement catches your eye again.
"Ghost, to the right!" you scream.
You knock an arrow onto the string, aiming for the distant figure. But the movement multiplies, more shadows lurking towards you with uneven gaits. Not people. Greys. The realization forms a pit in your stomach.
"They can fucking smell us," you choke out.
"Hit the faster ones!"
Arrow after arrow, you aim for the ones that move with the stamina of a more recently infected. To your right. To your left. Ghost carries Blue with one arm and shoots with his handgun. More and more crawl out like cockroaches, no doubt catching a whiff of the blood that stains all three of you.
Two built like linebackers run wildly up to Ghost from either direction. He shoots one, while the other grabs him by the shoulder. You launch an arrow at its skull, your aim more precise now that you're not shooting bullets, and it lets go of him with a squeal.
When the trees grow thicker, it becomes harder to see them. Despair pushes a cry up your throat when you slap a hand back to your quiver and feel two arrows left.
A slippery mix of mud and leaves suddenly takes you down to the ground, your knees landing on a hard tree root. You swear under your breath, fumbling to get back up, when a Grey you hadn't noticed behind you lunges on top, slamming you back down. Pain shoots through your ribs as you frantically roll around, thrusting a forearm against its throat to avoid its opened mouth and kicking your knees into its chest. Then, a fiery bullet lodges into its forehead, the Grey going limp on top of you with a splatter of brains and coagulated fluid.
"Get up, Twix!" Ghost barks.
You shove the body off and scramble to your feet, legs feeling like jelly, but you force them to keep running.
You whip a brief look behind you.
"There's too many— I'm almost out of arrows!"
"The river," Ghost throws over his shoulder. "Those fucks can't swim."
You realize his idea when the roar of water greets your ears. Ghost doesn't hesitate to sprint onto the rusty rebar, slipping his gun away to hold Blue with both arms.
You follow behind, forcing your eyes on the bank ahead as you slow down to keep balance. All you have to do is get across and the river will take care of the rest. Heartbeats pound in your skull, each step requiring an unfathomable amount of focus that you struggle to muster. You're about halfway there when you hear the splash of Greys falling in, and a brief glance below causes your footing to falter.
This time you fail to grab the beam.
Cold water envelops you like a million needles.
A mouthful of water burns down your throat, and for a moment, you can't move. Can't breathe. Everything spins around you. It's not until your feet collide with something hard - the bottom of the riverbed - that your brain registers what's happening and you kick out to propel yourself up.
You break the surface for a gulp of air before the current pulls your head back under. Your arms flail around in search of something to grab. Just when you latch onto what feels like a log, a hand seizes your ankle with a hungered screech. You slam your foot back, over and over, more water filling your mouth as you struggle to kick the Grey and hold on at the same time.
Finally, the rotten skull caves in and the current sucks it away. With your leg freed, you haul yourself up the log toward the edge of the river. You begin climbing up the cliffside, using the twisted roots as footholds, your hands digging into caked soil. You're almost to the top, but you feel numb and weak. So weak. You can't find anything else to grab. The wet sole of your boot begins to slip.
"Grab on!"
A gloved hand stretches down. Ghost is crouched above, Blue now on his back so can he lean over. You grip his hand and he pulls you up, until you collapse on the ground, wet and shivering.
You cough up water and bile.
"Bloody fucking hell.”
It's been a while since you've thought about dying. You've made it this far, instinct always taking the reins and pushing you onward. But now, as the reality of the cold, wet clothes clinging to you sets in, you consider asking Ghost to just shoot you. It would be quicker than freezing to death, and a much better fate than drowning or turning Grey. At least you know Blue will be safe now.
Before you can form the words, you hear the shuffling of fabric. A jacket, a beanie. Set on the ground beside you.
"Take off your clothes. Put these on."
The rest turns into a dream. You don't remember putting the clothes on, or standing up and moving your heavy limbs. You don't remember getting to the hunter's cabin, but the next thing you know, you are curled up on the floorboards beside a small fire, inhaling the musky smell of Ghost's oversized jacket, with the blanket you brought tucked around your bare legs. You don't feel cold anymore. Your head pounds. You can hear the steady rhythm of your heart, slow but present. Behind you somewhere, Ghost tends to Blue. You know this because you hear him whisper to her as her sobs are muffled by biting onto a shirt. Amelia, Amelia, he says to her. A name you've never heard before. He must be cleaning the wound, the pain of it causing her to thrash and kick. Then, the sounds fade, and you know she is asleep.
When your eyes finally tear away from the flames, you spot Ghost hunched over, lifting up his shirt. Dark blood and ink stain pale skin.
"You were shot?"
His eyes snap up. He regards you for a moment, and it is now you notice that most of the white of his mask has been stained with red from his kills.
"Knife," he says.
You don't know why you offer, or why he silently accepts. Somehow you end up knelt beside him, your cracked fingertips cleaning the puncture wound in his torso without a single word exchanged. It's not deep enough to need stitches. You clear the blood and dab on antiseptic. The only sign he feels any pain is the flex of corded muscles beneath your touch and the occasional sharp inhale through the mask. His skin is oddly warm, a temperature that does some to ease the tension in your muscles.
When you're done, you roll the shirt back down. He doesn't say thank you, not that you expected him to.
You break the silence with a voice that barely hovers above a whisper. "You could've let me freeze."
His brows lower. "You could've let them kill her."
"I would never do that." When he doesn't respond, you glance at her sleeping form. "She's okay?"
"Just a graze," he confirms.
"She lost quite a bit of blood. She might need a few days to rest."
Your gaze shifts back to his. You quietly add, "Did you recognize them? Were they a part of the military?"
"Maybe. Their gear was. Didn't know them, though."
"Why did they try to kill us?"
He gives you a look. Of course. He tried to kill you for the same reason once.
"They have a camp nearby," you murmur the answer, more to yourself than to him. "Something to protect."
He gives a slow nod, then moves to grab his rifle and a hoodie to slip on in place of the thick SAS jacket he lent you. As he moves to the door, you realize what he plans to do. Keep watch.
You slip the beanie off and run your fingers over the cut on your brow when he says something just before leaving.
"For someone who once asked me to kill them, you fight hard to survive, Twix."
You don't know what to say. Just hours ago, you almost asked him to kill you again.
There's a beat of silence and then, "Why?"
"Why what?"
"Do you fight so hard."
A breath sticks in your throat, and you stare at the floor. You're not sure why he is asking this, or why the answer is so hard to give.
"I... I don't know."
With that, he leaves. You watch the fire turn to dark embers. The faded adrenaline has left you with a fatigue you have grown familiar with. If you weren't so tired, maybe you would still be scared, your mind filled with fresh memories of gore and death and screaming. But you fall asleep quickly, scooting beside Blue and sinking into the warmth of his jacket.

Friday came and I was a nervous wreck, I didn’t care to tell Bella or dad about this seeing as Bella has already distanced herself from me and I didn’t wanna get dads hopes up, sitting in math class, the last class of the day I kept glancing at the clock ticking closer and closer to the final bell, trying to distract myself I delved back into the worksheet infront of me, soon enough the bell rang and my heart jumped
Anxiously I threw everything into my bag and left the school straight to the parking lot, where Emmett was leaned against his silver jeep, when his eyes landed on me that bright smile stretch across his face making his amber eyes shine
“Hey gorgeous you ready for the best night of your life?” I could feel the heat rush to my face only making his smirk widen
“Not like that y/n, not yet anyways, come on hop in” he said as he held the door open for me, quickly getting in the drivers seat next to me
“Sooo um what’re we doing?”
“Thought we could go hiking, maybe get out of the cloud bank into some sunlight”
“I love hiking! Sounds like fun” finally relaxing knowing now it’s something I’m use to doing
He drove for a while out of forks to a near by hiking trail not commonly used by the public, we got out and started our journey
“So tell me a bit about yourself Angel” he said breaking the silence
“Well there’s not much to know, I’ve lived here my whole life, my sister and mom left when I was young so it’s just been me and my dad, I became homeschooled until now and I usually just read and do homework”
“Not a big social butterfly I assume?”
“Not really, what about you? Tell me everything!”
“Well I have 4 adopted siblings, Jasper, Alice, Rosalie and Edward, you’ll love Alice she’s the sweetest, I like getting out into the forest, love music and working out”
“Yeah I can tell” I smiled glancing at his bulging muscles under his long sleeve shirt
“Woah she’s got some fire in her after all” he laughed nudging my arm
“What can I say you bring it out of me” his hand grazed against mine until he went for it and intertwined his fingers through mine
“Why so nervous pretty girl? Do I fluster you?”
“Maybe, I’ve never really done stuff like this but it’s nice” I saw his features soften as he looked down at me and gently squeezed my hand
“Really? A beautiful thing like yourself, I’m surprised you don’t have boys on their knees begging for your attention”
“I think you have me mixed up with my sister” I laughed nervously
“And who might that be because I don’t even need to see her to know your beauty is beyond anything of this world”
“Emmett stop you’re just trying to make me blush, and my sister is Bella, Bella swan she’s new to the school” he stopped dead in his tracks with a shocked expression
“Bella is your sister, like your actual sister?”
“So you already know her, not a surprise”
“No it’s not that, my brother Edward has been after her since she came at the start of the week, kind of funny how two brothers can like two sisters, but I must say I got the more beautiful”
“You’re too sweet Em, I can’t believe she hasn’t said anything”
“Edward is a very awkward secretive guy I’m sure Bella is the same way maybe that’s why she hasn’t said anything”
“Can’t say you’re wrong”
He looked me up and down trying to judge something, curious
“Do you trust me?”
“I only just meet you but yeah, I do”
In an instant he flung me over his back so I was clung to him like a monkey
“Hold on tight sunshine” everything flew by in a blur, there was no shape to anything with the speed he was going, but however he was doing this it didn’t scare me or make me wonder what the hell was happening, I actually felt at peace
Soon enough he stopped as we cleared the cloud bank and the sun was beaming, he placed me gently back down on my feet and turned around, his skin was like a million tiny crystals, I was in awe by how much more beautiful he became
“Are you scared?” He asked as his face scrunch with worry
I raised my hand and traced down his cheek feeling his hard cold skin
“No quite the opposite, you’re beautiful Emmett”
“Don’t you wanna know what I am?” He asked placing his hands on my hips
“Whatever you are I’d never judge, I feel you’d never hurt me so I don’t care what you are”
“How did I get so lucky” he stated as he lifted me like I weighed a feather, wrapping my legs around his waist
“What do you mean?”
“Us vampires have mates and the moment you bumped into me in the hallways I knew you were mine, the one I’m meant to spend the rest of my life with”
“But why me, you could have anybody”
“You’re everything I’ll ever need, I wish you could see yourself the way I see you Angel, and I’ll spend the rest of eternity showing you how amazing you are”
My heart swelled with the most love I’ve ever felt and I’m lucky enough to finally find the one who will brighten my life

“Isn’t the flannel I gave you enough?” Bradley asked with a laugh from his place on his bed, watching as you rummaged around in his closet. “What are you doing?”
“You seriously don’t have a UVA hoodie? You go here, don’t you?” You ask instead of answering his questions, your body being covered in the very flannel he gave you this morning before class. It was bigger on you than it was on him, so instead of it ending near your waist like it did with him, it fell to your mid thigh.
He laughed again, leaning back against the headboard with his legs stretched out in front of him. “Yeah, but I don’t have a hoodie,”
You turn around and glare at him, stopping your search in his messy closet as you make your way to his unmade bed. “Well, get one,” you say and crawl over to him, sitting on your knees next to his thighs.
“Why?” He asked, reaching over and placing his hand on your bare leg, your shorts doing nothing to cover your smooth skin from him. “So you can steal it, too?”
You smirk and lean over, ghosting your lips against his as you nod. “Exactly,” you answer, kissing him quickly before getting back up and heading towards his closet again.
Bradley grunted at the short lived kiss, his eyes dipping down to the backs of your thighs as you turned away from him. “I already told you, babes,” he mumbled, propping one arm behind his head. “You won’t find one in there.”
You wave him off as your eyes lock onto something hung up on the far side of the closet, and you disappear behind the door for a few seconds before coming back out. “No, but look what I found instead,” you say in a tone that had his jeans tightening a bit. That and the way you bite down on your lip and hold up his football jersey he wore all throughout high school.
“Oh,” he trailed off, forgetting he even had that in there. He hadn’t worn it or seen it since he moved into the frat house two years ago.
“And look at that,” you say, more so to yourself as you turn the hanger around and look at the back of the red jersey. “It’s got your name on it and everything.”
“Yeah,” he huffed, bending one of his knees and propping his foot up. “The name everyone here calls me by.”
“Everyone but me,” you correct, using your freehand to start unbuttoning his flannel he was sure he was never getting back.
“‘Cause you’re special,” he said, watching with darkening eyes as you shrug off the patterned fabric and let it drop to the floor. You were left in a floral crop top for only a few seconds before you took his jersey off the hanger and slipped it over your shoulders. “Fuck.”
The smile you gave him when you looked up had his jeans tightening even more as you held your arms out. “Well?” You asked, turning around and showing off his last name on your back. “What do you think?”
Bradley swallowed harshly, his hand itching to touch you as you spun to face him again. “I think...” he trailed off, meeting your eyes as he shifted on his bed. “You need to come here.”
You bite your lip again before leaning against the still open closet door, your fingers tracing along the frame of it. “But it’s so fun watching you squirm from over here,”
“Y/n,” he muttered, making your eyes widen in excitement. “Get over here. Now.”
You press your lips together and push away from the door, slowly making your way over to him as if you knew exactly what you were doing to him. “Did I do something wrong?” You sweetly asked, placing one knee on the bed as you kept a few inches of space between you and him.
“No,” he managed to answer, reaching out and wrapping his hand around your wrist. He pulls you fully onto the bed and onto his lap, your body settling on his similar to the way it was in his Jeep. “No, baby, you didn’t do anything wrong.”
He was answering a question you had teasingly asked him, and he knew that you were well aware of the fact that you held a certain power over him in this moment. “You sure?” You asked as you braced your hands on his shoulders.
“Shut up,” Bradley murmured, catching the smallest glimpse of your grin before he pressed his lips to yours. The content moan you release against his mouth and the way your body slowly rolled on top of his had Bradley squeezing his eyes tightly shut, still in disbelief that you were able to make him feel like this.
He had no idea why, but the sight of you wearing something he used to care so much about was doing things to him, and the way you were wearing his fucking last name was almost too much. It was as if you were his; his to claim, to brand, and he supposed you actually are since he asked you to be his girlfriend yesterday.
You’re his girlfriend.
Bri had dumped him a week ago this morning, and he had already found himself another girlfriend. Was that too fast? Maybe, but Bradley honestly didn’t just see you as his girlfriend; he sees you as the person he clicked with pretty much instantly and has a lot of fun with. The things he’s felt with you, done with you, and talked to you about had never been a factor in his relationship with Bri, and maybe that made her reason to break up with him a good one since he clearly didn’t feel as strongly about her as he initially thought he did.
Bradley moves one of his hands down to your hip, then to the back of your thigh. He could feel the goosebumps that formed on your skin and he smirked against your lips. “Have I told you how gorgeous you are yet?” He asked as he slid this right thigh in between both of yours, pulling away from your mouth and running the tip of his nose along the side of your neck.
“Um,” you trailed off breathlessly, clearly dropping your mocking attitude and making him grin since he knew he had you right where he wanted you. “No, not yet.”
Bradley ran his tongue along your neck, inhaling the rose scent of your perfume that went very well with the floral shirt you had on under his jersey. “Well,” he murmured, kissing the skin below your ear. “You’re fucking gorgeous.”
The moan you let out went right to his cock, and without another word being said, he turned you over and pinned your hands above your head and under his pillow. “Bradley,” you whispered, leaning up and trying to kiss him but he pulled away with a smirk on his lips.
You huff out a breath as he kisses down your neck, sucking on your pulse point until your skin was a deep red. He marked you like you had done to him on Friday, and he soothed the irritated skin with his tongue afterwards. “I know,” he cooed, beaming at the mark he knew would darken by the next time he sees you.
He gently pushes the jersey up until your lower stomach is exposed to his relentless mouth, his lips pressing on every new inch of skin revealed. You moan softly, hesitantly reaching out to him and making him lift his head. “Um,” you trailed off, giving him an embarrassed smile. “Can I…?”
Bradley smiled at you and leaned down to press a gentle kiss to the area below your belly button, and it grew when he saw the way you shuddered. “You can touch me,” he answered the question you didn’t finish asking, taking your hand in his and guiding it to the top of his head when he saw the way you still looked hesitant. “I’m your boyfriend now, you can touch me wherever you want.”
He was trying to get a point across to you, but even Bradley was still in a bit of shock that he is already officially dating you. Is it too quick? Probably. Did he honestly, truly care? Not a single fucking bit.
You relaxed once he reminded you that it was more than okay to touch him, and the sight of you leaning back against his pillow was enough to have his mind clouding over with sinful thoughts. Even though you pretty much established it, he still asked, “Can I touch you?”
Bradley watched as you bit down on your lip and nodded slowly, trailing your fingers through his hair. “Yeah,” you answered verbally consented before he could ask you for it, and that was all he really needed.
The hot makeout and grind session he had with you in the front seat of his Jeep didn’t really allow him to explore your body like this, and after being so into you from the second he saw you, he felt like he was a starved man. Now that he had your full consent and had established a mutual understanding, he wasn’t holding back. He pushed the jersey and your floral shirt up higher until it was just barely still covering your bra, his head dipping down to kiss all over your ribcage.
Your skin was so smooth and it smelled like a mix of roses and coconut, a scent Bradley didn’t realize he loved so much. His lips were pressed to your hip when his hand slid up your thigh and began to unzip your jean shorts, and that was when your pretty moans stopped and your body jolted a bit. “Wait,” you gasped quietly, reaching down with the hand that wasn’t in his hair and grabbing his wrist.
Bradley stopped instantly, lifting his head from your kiss coated stomach and looking up at you. “Sorry,” he apologized, moving his hand away from your unzipped shorts. “Too fast?” You hadn’t actually mentioned how far you wanted this to go, and Bradley was more than okay with you stopping it now. He was in no rush right now, and whatever you wanted was what he wanted.
When he began to lift his body from between your thighs, you whimpered. “Wait,” you said again, softly tugging on his hair. He paused, his shoulders pressed to your knees as he waited for you to continue. “Sorry, I’m sorry. I’m being weird.” You mumbled and Bradley laughed, turning his head to kiss the side of your knee.
“Don’t be sorry, baby,” he murmured, sliding his wrist away from your grasp and taking your hand in his. “Just tell me what you want.”
A pink tint ghosted over your face as you pressed your lips together. “Is it okay if we….don’t rush the sex thing?” You asked and Bradley opened his mouth to tell you that he was more than okay with that, but you continued before he could say anything. “I’m not, like, a virgin or anything…I just…I really like you, Bradley, and I don’t want to rush into things, you know?”
Bradley smiled up at you and kissed your knee again, humming in agreement. “Oh, trust me, I know,” he grinned, resting his head against your thigh. “I really like you, too, and I don’t want to rush things either.”
The smile you gave him had his heart beating wildly in his chest as you nodded. “Okay,” you whispered, trailing your fingers along his cheek. “Thank you for being so understanding.”
“‘Course, babes,” he mumbled, reaching up to tug his jersey back down so it was covering your stomach again. “Do you want to stop then?”
Bradley went to get up again, but you stopped him once more. “Well, I didn’t say that…” The hint of nervousness mixed with sultry had him settling in between your legs again, a teasing smile on his lips.
“So what are you saying?” He asked as he ran his index finger along the waistline of your shorts.
You bit your lip again and he had to hold back a groan. “We could still...you know,” you trail off and whine - you actually whined in a way that had his jeans suddenly feeling a whole lot tighter - when he just raised his brow. “Don’t make me say it, please.”
Bradley huffed out a laugh before simply asking, “Do you want me to go down on you?”
He could hear the way your breath got caught in your throat, and he guessed you weren’t used to someone being so forward, but you would have to get used to that now that you’re dating him, because he considered himself to be a very forward guy.
Your thighs twitched a bit, like you were aching to rub them together to create friction. “Um,” you mumbled, scratching the top of his head as you ran your fingers through his hair. “If…you want to.”
Bradley smiled and kissed the inside of your thigh, noticing how it twitched once again. “But what do you want?”
You pressed your lips together again before answering in a quiet tone. “I want you to go down on me,”
He grinned at the very small fraction of confidence in your tone before he lifted his body and pressed your thighs together, his fingers hooking through your shorts belt loops. You watched with your teeth digging into your lip as Bradley slowly pulled the jean fabric down your legs, and his eyes darkened a bit at the pretty black lace that covered your core.
After craving you for days on end, Bradley wasn’t in the mood to hold back right now. He leaned back down and pressed his lips to the fabric, kissing your clit through your panties. Your stomach tensed a bit and your breath hitched, and he wondered if Luke had been doing his job in keeping you satisfied with this part of your relationship.
He assumed you and Luke slept together since you were dating for so long, but the way you were already whimpering for him made Bradley think your ex was pretty shit in bed.
What a shame, because Bradley was effortlessly getting hard from just the sound of you.
Bradley ran the tip of his nose down the lace, feeling how damp the fabric was before running his tongue along it and making it even more wet. “Bradley,” you moaned his name in the same way you did the first time he got you alone like this on Friday, and it sounded just as hot as it did then.
You whimpered again and propped yourself up on your elbows, watching him with wide eyes. He met your gaze with a small smirk as he continued to tease you by kissing you through the lace. He licked and sucked until the fabric was soaked from both you and him, and only then did he slowly pull it down your legs and let it drop to the floor beside his bed.
The sight of your lower half being completely exposed to him had Bradley feeling a little feral, and he couldn’t bring himself to wait any longer. He met your gaze, your eyes full of lust and anticipation, as his mouth met your core, his tongue poking out to taste you.
He groaned. He actually groaned at the taste of you. He’d been craving to find out how sweet you were when he watched you fall apart on his lap in the front seat, and now he knew.
Your quiet gasp had him refraining from bucking against the bed, his hands sliding under your thighs as he pressed his face closer to you. “Oh, God,” he heard you whisper and it only fueled him.
His tongue slipped out and circled your clit, the sensitive nerves throbbing against it. You were already so worked up, he could tell. You were shaking a bit and your hand was tight in his hair as he slowly ran the muscle up and down your folds. “You taste so good, baby,” he murmured, feeling the way your body jolted at his words. “So fucking sweet.”
You draped your legs over his shoulders with the help of his hands, and then you were back to tugging on his hair. “Bradley,” you moaned when he took your clit between his lips and sucked harshly.
“You like that?” He asked as he pulled away to glance up at you. When you nodded and shifted against the bed, he leaned back down and did it again, wanting to find out all the ways he can make you squirm. He wanted to find out what you liked, what got you off and what makes you get loud.
With that being said, Bradley could tell you were holding back right now. You were biting harshly on your lip and he could see the way you were tightening your chest. He trailed his hand up your thigh as he pulled his mouth away from you, using his fingers to gather up your wetness. “You’re trying to be quiet,” he observed, pushing just the tip of his index finger through your folds.
You look down at him with flushed, red cheeks as you press your lips together. “I…”
“Don’t be embarrassed to talk to me, babes,” he murmured, leaning down to kiss your hip, leaving behind a wet mark.
You whimper as he slowly sinks his whole finger into you, and you felt so tight, he wasn’t entirely convinced you’d ever been fully worked open yet. “I’m just not used to...being loud,” you confess, leaning further back on your elbows. “Luke didn’t…he didn’t really…”
Bradley understood what you were saying without you actually needing to finish that sentence, and it was just another reason for him to strongly dislike your ex. “You can be loud with me,” he whispered, beginning to gently fuck his finger into you. “I want you to be.”
The moan you let out at that was just what he’d been wanting to hear, and then you were blushing again. “W-what about your roommates? Eli-”
“They’re not here,” he promised, not wanting to hear another guy’s name come from your mouth when he was currently trying to make you come with his. Hearing Luke’s name was bad enough. “You can be as loud as you want to be, baby.”
Maybe he was trying to get you there with his use of that nickname since you told him how much you love hearing him call you it, and maybe that was cruel, but he couldn’t bring himself to care since you slowly fell back on his pillow and let out a moan that was little louder than your previous ones.
Bradley grinned and leaned back down. “There you go,” he praised and you only whimpered louder. You had a thing for praise, he could tell, and he couldn’t wait to explore that further with you when and if you decide you want to.
He softly circled your clit with his tongue as he slid his middle finger into your tight walls to join his other one, and you arched your back and clung onto his hair with a firmer grip. “Bradley,” you moaned and closed your eyes as he slowly but surely got you there. “Oh, my God.”
He hummed against your nerves, and the way your body trembled at it gave him the indication that you were close. He continued to tease your clit as he fucked his fingers a bit faster into you, loving the way your thighs jolted with barely-there control. “You’re so pretty,” he mumbled, kissing your swollen clit. “Taste so good.”
You became a whimpering, whining mess as he fucked you with his tongue alongside his fingers, and your hand tightened on his hair. “Bradley,”
He moaned at the sound of his name falling from your lips, savoring the sweet taste of you. “Are you gonna come?” He asked, glancing up at you as you nodded desperately.
Bradley had to use his free hand to pin your thigh down as you tried to close your legs, your volume growing with each second that passed. “Fuck,” you gasped, gripping his pillow with the hand that wasn’t currently pulling his hair out.
“Do it,” he coaxed softly, swirling his tongue against you. “Come for me. Let me taste how sweet you are.”
The sound you let out was one that could be found in a porno, and then he felt your release coat his tongue. You lifted your back off the bed as you came, broken whimpers escaping your lips as you gently grinded against his face. “Fuck,” you cried, shaking as he finally pulled away and sat back on his knees.
Your eyes were wide as you glanced down and noticed how tight his jeans had gotten, and you let out uneven breaths as you gestured to his obvious hard-on. “Do you want…want me to-”
“It’s okay,” Bradley hummed, slowly pulling his fingers out of you and nearly groaning at the wetness coated on them. “You catch your breath, baby, I’ll be fine.”
Then he took his fingers into his mouth and cleaned you off them, keeping eye contact with you the whole time. “Bradley…”
He smiled as he pulled his fingers out of his mouth and traced his bottom lip with his tongue. “Been wanting to do that since Friday night,” he confessed and took in how fucked out you looked; thighs spread, core wet from what he just did to it, your hair messy and his damn jersey on your body. “Damn, baby, if you could see what I see right now…fuck.”
You let out a quiet laugh as he helped you get your lower half dressed again before he moved to lay next to you. He wrapped his arm around your shoulders and pulled your body against his as your hand trailed down the front of his shirt. “You’re kind of stupidly good at that,” you mumble and he grunted with a smile.
“Am I?” He teased as you looked back down at his less obvious boner. “Don’t worry about it. It’ll go away soon.” It probably wouldn’t.
You sigh and nod, looking up at him with a small, pretty smile before you are leaning up and kissing him deeply. “Next time, it’s my turn,” you stated and he held back a groan as you kissed him again.
-
Tuesday was an easy school day for you.
Classes flew by, and before you knew it you were leaving Mr. Clarke’s class at three in the afternoon and heading back to your place. Sam was nowhere to be found and you let out a sigh as you dropped your bag onto the couch and sat next to it.
You propped your legs up on the coffee table, your mind going back to last night when Bradley got you off with his tongue and fingers. He made it look so easy and had you shaking and whimpering within seconds. It was hard not to compare him to Luke, who had only gone down on you twice in the three years you were together.
When Bradley pointed out how quiet you were being, you were instantly reminded of all the times Luke would hush you or put his hand over your mouth during sex so only his grunts were heard. Bradley was so different. It was like he could almost get off to the sounds of your moans, while Luke preferred not to hear them.
Bradley made you feel so good last night, you weren’t sure you had ever felt like that in your entire life. It should concern you, but you were thriving off it, happy that he was the only one who had gotten you off so good. Everything felt amazing with him, so you weren’t entirely surprised he was able to kick off your sex life like that.
To put it simply, sex had never been a big deal to you in the past, but now you couldn’t fucking wait to do more things with him.
You quickly became bored and reached for your phone, smiling at the picture of Bradley’s scrunched up face in the picture you set as his contact.
When’s your class over today? I’m bored :(
Fratley ❤️❤️: It was over at 1. I’m in town right now, heading back. Milkshakes? ;)
You groaned at how he easily just released butterflies in your stomach without even being here, and you quickly answered him as you bit down on your lip,
Please. And I need to start paying attention to your class schedule.
Fratley ❤️❤️: You and me both… be there soon.
You smiled and leaned back against the couch as you began flipping through random channels on the small TV, missing the bigger one in Bradley’s living room.
Not long after, there were a couple knocks on the door, and you shifted as you called out, “It’s open,” then Bradley was walking in with two milkshakes in one hand, a bouquet of daisies in the other, and his school bag slung over his shoulder. “Oh, look who’s knocking now.”
Bradley shook his head with an eye roll as he set the shakes down onto the coffee table and handed you the flowers. “I don’t know if you lock your door or not,” he defended himself as he dropped his bag onto the area rug and sat next to you, leaning over to kiss you quickly.
You smile against his lips and look at the daisies when you pull away. “These are pretty,”
Bradley gave them a quick glance before grabbing his chocolate shake and leaning back, draping his arm over your shoulders. “Something pretty for my girl,” he answered simply as if it was no big deal, but you were three seconds away from pouncing on him.
You bring the flowers to your nose before whispering, “I love them,” and nuzzling against his side. “Thank you. And thank you for the shake.”
Bradley hummed as he kissed the top of your head, ditching the paper straw and just sipping the drink right from the cup. “You’re welcome,”
You sit in silence for a few seconds, and you thought now might be a good time to have the whole ‘sex’ conversation with him. After setting the flowers onto the table next to your milkshake, you lean against his side again and look up at him, watching as he meets your gaze with a smile. “So…about last night,” you began, playing with the buttons on his green flannel that matched the blue one you had on your desk chair.
Bradley smirked and leaned over to set his drink down before turning back to you. “Yeah?” He teased, reaching over to grab your waist. “You want a second round?”
You bit your lip and laughed as he leaned down to kiss the side of your neck, right on the spot he left a hickey last night. “I wanted to talk about…that,” you murmured and he stopped kissing you pretty quickly, pulling away to look you in the eyes.
“Did I overstep?” He asked, loosening his grip on your waist. “Were you not ready? I’m sorry, I should’ve-”
You shake your head and move closer to him. “No, it was perfect, and you were perfect,” you assure him and watch as a faint blush formed on his cheeks and the way he leaned back against the couch again.
“Perfect, huh?”
You nod and move so your legs are draped over his thighs. “I wanted to talk about the whole sex thing,” you muttered, suddenly embarrassed. Was this really necessary? But now Bradley had given you his full attention, and you were quickly learning that it was okay to embarrass yourself in front of him. “Like I said last night, I’m not a virgin, I’ve had sex. Luke was my first and…my only.”
Bradley’s eyes widened at bit at that but he didn’t say anything to make you feel even more embarrassed, so you went on,
“As you know, we were together for three years, and he only did what you did to me last night twice during our whole relationship,”
“Twice?” Bradley asked in disbelief, the hand of his arm that was around your shoulder beginning to trace random shapes onto the skin of your bicep. “That’s it?”
You nodded and looked away, wanting to grab your milkshake and press the cool cup against your warm face. “And he and I didn’t really have sex much. You could tell last night that I was holding back, and that was because Luke didn’t like it when I got too loud in bed,” you confessed and looked back at Bradley, seeing the way his brows had furrowed. “And he…told me that he wasn’t really satisfied with our sex life, so that’s why we didn’t do it much.”
Bradley raised his brows and scoffed, looking at the TV before back at you. “You know, I really, really don’t like your ex,” he muttered. “He sounds like a real asshole.”
You shake your head and play with his flannel buttons again. “He wasn’t all that bad…he was good to me, he just wasn’t happy with that part of our relationship,” you shrugged, looking up at his brown eyes. “So, I’m letting you know now that if, after last night, you don’t want to do that again or anything else with me, I totally get it.”
“Babes,” Bradley let out another laugh of disbelief. “I’ve been wanting to do that for days. Just the quick hookup we had in my car was enough to have me craving you in that way, and last night? Baby, last night was amazing. I loved hearing you get loud for me, and I loved touching you and kissing you like that. Of course I want to do it again.”
You blushed and pressed your lips together. “Really?”
“Yeah, baby, really,” he confirmed, gently gripping your chin and kissing you deeply. “I definitely want to feel you come on my tongue again. One hundred percent.”
Your blush deepens as you bury your face against his neck. “Bradley,”
He laughed, the deep rumble making you hold back a moan. “Listen, I’m not Luke, okay? If you want to get loud, fucking scream for me, baby. The louder the better,” he murmured and you pulled back to look up at him. “And if you want me to go down on you, just say the words and I’ll gladly do it. I’m so into you, Y/n. I’ll take anything I can get.”
His words were everything you didn’t know you needed to hear, and you reached up to caress his face with a lazy smile on your face. “You’re too good to be true,”
Bradley laughed again and looked down. “I guess it’s my turn to talk about my past experiences, too, right?”
You quickly shake your head, “You don’t have to-”
“No, I want to,” he said as he shifted and and trailed his hand up and down your leg. “Here comes that super embarrassing story I mentioned before our second date.”
Your second date - the one at Five Guys, which is ironically where he had gotten the milkshakes you were sipping from now. “The one about your possessive ex who leaves hickeys that look extremely painful?” You teased, poking the faint mark you had left on his throat on Friday.
Bradley nodded, looking down at you with a small grin. “Yeah, Bri. Her and I went out for almost a year, and she broke up with me because I didn’t put enough effort into our relationship,” he started. “She was probably right, since I’ve taken you out more than I took her out in eleven months.”
You covered your mouth with your hand as you waited for him to go on, a sense of pride filling you from his words.
“When she broke up with me, which was right after we had sex, by the way, she told me that sex is all I’m good for and that I’m a terrible boyfriend,” he said and now it was your turn to furrow your brows. “She said something about coming back to me just so I can fuck her again, because I’m apparently good in bed, then she went and got with another guy in front of me, in my own house.”
“Jesus, Bradley,” you mumbled as you moved closer to him. “I think I know how you feel about Luke now since I feel the same way about Bri.”
He laughed, shaking his head before burying his face against the side of your neck. “Yeah, we sure know how to pick them, huh?”
You laugh, too, before taking in his words, and a feeling of jealousy slowly creeped into you. “I’m just going to say it now, if she thinks she can come back just so you can fuck her…” You trailed off and he pulled away from your neck with an amused look on his face. “That is not going to happen.”
Bradley hummed and nodded, leaning in to kiss you. “Agreed,” he mumbled against your lips, grabbing your waist afterwards and pulling you onto his lap. “Now come here. I’ve been thinking about you since last night.”

Hi would you write about Regina trauma and ed ?
Yes of course! I hope I do you justice :)
She knows.
Masterlist
Pairings: Regina George x reader
Prompt: Regina comforts r as they battle their ed and work through generational trauma.
Warnings: eating disorder, trauma, panic attacks, swearing.
A/N: I hope I do it justice! hopefully I don’t mess it up.
Tumblr media
Nobody’s pov
Regina put the pieces together after a few months.
First she started getting confused when you would quickly go to the bathroom after a meal and then come back exhausted.
She tried to leave it alone and blame it on you just needing the bathroom after eating.
Then she realized you stopped wearing clothes that fit you properly. You started wearing baggier clothes.
She brushed it aside when you blamed it on wanting to be more comfortable.
Then one day she was looking back at old pictures of you two and she noticed that you definitely looked healthier then.
You blamed it on the weather. Sometimes you just look different in the winter.
She went with it.
Part of her never wanted to even imagine it. But the other part of her was screaming that something was wrong.
The last thing she noticed was how you’d never let her cuddle you anymore. Until one day you had a panic attack and she had held you to ground you.
Unbeknownst to you, her eyes filled with tears when she felt how fragile and small you had gotten in her arms.
She felt horrible for not connecting the dots earlier. But now she had to do something. So she starts thinking of how to confront you without making you freak out or anything.
The next time she picks you up she decides that she’s going to sit you down.
Y/n’s pov
I get into the hot pink jeep after another horrible day.
I just wish I was skinny. Like Gina. She’s perfect. I’m not. I’m nowhere near her size. I can’t even go five minutes without seeing someone laughing. They’re probably laughing about my size.
Regina cuts into my thoughts by saying
“What’s going on in that pretty little head of yours?”
I shrug and say
“Nothing. Just have some homework”
She nods and starts driving us home.
Once we get to her house I walk in and Mrs George smiles and goes to hug me but then stops realizing I’ve rejected her hugs for a while.
I send her a smile and Regina brings me up to her room.
“Can I talk to you?”
Regina’s sudden question has me a bit nervous. I nod my head and say
“Yeah. You can tell me anything.”
She sits down on her giant bed and pats next to her so I sit too.
Great. Here’s the “it’s not you it’s me” speech
She sighs and says
“Y/n. I’ve noticed a few things about you lately and I just wanted to ask if you’re okay?”
My face goes pale.
She knows. Of course she knows she is trying to get it out of me before she pries it out herself. Great. She’s gonna hate me and think I’m disgusting.
I didn’t even realize it, but when I got lost in my thoughts, my tears started building up and falling down.
“Hey hey. It’s okay please just tell me what’s going on?”
All of a sudden I feel a tightness in my chest. I start to panic when I feel this way because I’m feeling claustrophobic right now.
It feels like the walls are closing in on me. I can’t breathe.
Nobody’s pov
Regina widens her eyes when you start to hyperventilate.
She says
“Hey hey! It’s okay. It’s okay baby. You’re gonna be okay.”
Regina doesn’t quite know how to handle this situation so she asks.
“Can you hear me?”
You nod your head a bit and Regina says
“Do you want me to get my mom?”
You rapidly shake your head and she nods.
“Okay. Can I touch you baby?”
“Mmhm”
She immediately envelopes you in a hug and says
“Come on y/n I need you to breathe with me.”
She puts your head on her chest and works you through it.
It takes a few minutes for Regina’s breathing techniques to get through to you but you’re breathing alright.
Regina thinks
Okay so this is gonna be a lot harder than I expected.
She takes a breath to calm herself and says
“Can you tell me what’s happening?”
You nod you head and say
“I just- I don’t want you to leave me”
Regina looks at you with sadness.
“I’m sorry you ever thought I would ever leave you baby. I’m not going anywhere. We’re stuck together. And I mean it.”
You nod your head and look away.
You try to form the words and communicate to her that you need help but it just comes out in a sobbed
“I’m sorry! I’m so sorry”
Regina hugs you again and helps you calm down before you finish.
“I didn’t think it would go this far. I just.”
Your tone lowers to a hushed whisper and you say
“I just wanted to be skinny like you”
Regina misses the last part and she says
“Hmm baby? I couldn’t hear you”
You huff and say
“I wanted to be skinny. Like you.”
Regina’s eyes widen gigantically. She just now realizes how stupid she is.
She’s always worried about her size. She didn’t even think once to remember about how it might affect you.
She snaps out of her thoughts and shakes her head.
“No honey. You’re beautiful. So so perfectly beautiful just the way you are okay? I want you to be healthy baby.”
You nod your head and Regina can tell you want to say something.
“Did you want to tell me something?”
You nod and quietly say
“Will you help me eat?”
Regina smiles hugely at this and says
“Of course! What are you in the mood for? I can make you anything. And if I can’t we’ll buy it”
You shrug and say
“I don’t know.”
Regina thinks and says
“Is that you don’t know as in you do know you’re just scared to ask? Or is it as in you actually don’t know?”
You smile at her knowing you and you say
“Can I try sushi? I haven’t had it in so long. I feel like I might be able to do that”
She smiles and nods her head. She then says
“Do you want me to make it or order it?”
You say
“Um order. Can we get that one place you took me?”
She smiles knowing what you’re talking about and nods her head. She whips her phone out and orders your usual.
When it arrives you sit down staring at it.
It’s as if it is challenging you.
But Regina sits next to you at the table and pulls you into her lap.
At first you get nervous but then you feel so warm inside at her holding you close like she used to.
She grabs a piece of sushi and takes a bite and looks at you and says
“Whenever you’re ready sweetheart”
You nod and pick up a piece. You dip it in sauce and take about half a bite and you let it sit in your mouth.
Slowly but surely you start chewing it. Regina rubs your hips and says
“You’re doing great hun. Just tell me if you need to stop okay?”
You nod your head and finally you swallow. It was so daunting but it felt like a small weight was lifted off of your chest.
She picks up the rest and feeds it to you when you accept.
Her smile is gigantic and she is giving you so much praise and appreciation for this simple task.
After about three pieces of sushi you let out a strangled sigh and Regina says
“Can you do one more bite baby?”
After contemplating for a while you nod your head. Determined to make Regina happy. You finish the last bite and tear up a bit.
She shushes you and comforts you so well.
“You did so good. So so good. You’re perfect. So so perfect. My baby”
You lean back into her as she finishes what you didn’t eat and then suddenly you say
“I’m sorry”
She furrows her eyebrows and says
“Why for? Are you okay baby? Do you need the bathroom?”
She’s ready to jump into action in case it was too much for you but you shake your head. And say
“I’m sorry I couldn’t finish it”
She shakes her head aggressively and says
“No! No baby. You did so well. I’m literally so proud of you. Honestly I didn’t expect you to do that much. And it made me so so happy.”
You send a slight smile her way and relax into her hold.
You’ve got a long way to go but it’s a start.

JJ got over his admittedly smug satisfaction of getting you to himself for the rest of the night when he woke up in the morning.
As he stretched out in the chair, sleep slipping away as he extended his sore limbs, he recalled how he got there in the first place.
He looked over to you and noticed you smiling lazily, but it wasn’t at him.
“I just finished cooking, if you guys are hungry,” John B announced, having appeared in the doorway.
John B gave him a smile, and JJ glowered in response. He wasn’t awake enough to hide his real feelings yet.
John B’s smile faltered and JJ knew his friend wasn’t all that deserving of his contempt as the other boy disappeared back inside.
“You hungry?” you asked, throwing a glance his way as you got up from the couch.
JJ didn’t hesitate to follow you into the house.
Tumblr media
Days later, he still felt that nasty twinge of jealousy in his gut.
Since that morning he’d done his best to keep it in. And it was working, for the most part. If John B noticed before, he didn’t bring it up. JJ was grateful for that because his friend definitely did notice.
If he had asked JJ what was wrong, JJ wasn’t sure he knew how to answer.
I don’t want you to try and date my step sister because I’m jealous that I can’t didn’t sound like an acceptable explanation. Even sitting by himself with his thoughts couldn’t help JJ become that delusional.
Even if he wasn’t necessarily uncomfortable lounging in the chair on his porch, JJ hated being at home alone. The only thing worse was being home with his dad. Sure, he could’ve gone to the Chateau, but he wanted to pick you up from work on time. He also thought about just showing up and hanging out with you, but the Carreras treated him like a seagull—convinced his only purpose was to steal food and pester their daughter.
The buzzing of his phone pulled him from his thoughts. He almost opened the message right away, as he usually did, but he read the preview and disappointment stuck. He decided against it.
Y/N: hey, kie’s gonna drive me tonight just lyk
When it started getting dark, JJ hopped on his bike and set off towards The Wreck anyway. You’d woken up earlier than him so he hadn’t seen you all day, he didn’t want to wait.
Was it cheesy of him to think he missed you already? Probably, but JJ didn’t care.
He came to a stop in the parking lot, near Kie’s jeep so you couldn’t miss him. JJ didn’t mind waiting however many minutes he did, when you stepped out with a hint of surprise on your face, it was worth it.
The light from the restaurant lit up your features, and he was certain the expression on your face said you were pleased to see him.
He couldn’t help but smirk. He was about to open his mouth to shoot a joke your way, but Kiara stopped across from him at your side and spoke up first.
“What are you doing here?”
“Didn’t think you’d still be here,” JJ lied with ease. He stepped away from his bike. He reminded himself to keep it simple, stuffing his hands into his pocket so he wouldn’t fidget with them.
He looked at you as you said, “I texted you she was gonna give me a ride.”
The slight doubt on your face was cute. He almost wondered if you were gonna take out your phone and check—but he’d covered his bases with that, the text would still say ‘delivered’ and not ‘read’.
JJ shrugged it off. “I didn’t see it. You wanna ride with me to the Chateau then? Since I detoured all the way here,” he said with a mix of sarcasm and guilt-tripping.
You rolled your eyes and it made him smile to himself when you looked away to Kiara.
“I’ll see you there,” you told the other girl. JJ knew you weren’t going to say no. You were already climbing onto the bike before he could say anything else. “Come on, since you’re in such a rush.”
Your voice held the same teasing his had.
“You’re so bossy.”
JJ was aware how flirtatious it sounded, but you didn’t react. He wasn’t sure whether to be relieved or not. He climbed onto the bike and told you to hold on. Your arms slid under his, locking together around him. Your chest pressed to his back, and JJ felt a flutter of excitement as he sped off away from the restaurant.
He would have driven faster, but he was much more cautious when you were riding with him. The last thing he wanted to do was lose control with you on board.
Even still, he could feel your heart pounding against his back. His own heart rate picked up when you held him tighter. It didn’t matter how many times the two of you had been in this position, it always thrilled him in a way that would just make him long for you later when you parted from him.
Concern crept in and he slowed down a little, making sure you could hear him when he asked you if you were alright.
“All good,” you replied with what was hopefully the truth.
“I’ve never crashed this thing,” JJ called back to you. He didn’t want you to be genuinely worried. “You can trust me.”
“I know,” you told him without hesitation. It made him release a breath, relieved. He sped up a little again, aware that Kiara was driving behind and wouldn’t like the slow pace. As he did that, he heard your voice one more time as you declared, “I do!”
JJ laughed a little to himself, hearing the squeak in your voice due to him speeding up right as you spoke.
He got you two to the Chateau pretty quick after that, and when he pulled into the yard and stopped the bike, JJ felt you relax against his back.
He climbed off the bike first, reluctantly making you separate from him, but he made up for it by offering his hand. It was a simple gesture but as you hopped off, you looked like you appreciated the extra balance.
“Thanks,” you said softly, eyes going past his.
JJ followed your gaze and spotted Pope and John B already seated around a small fire. They waved, and JJ held your hand a little tighter.
“Campfire, nice,” he muttered, not wanting to let you go.
So, he took a risk, and didn’t. It was small enough that he could get away with it—he had a list in his mind of what he could play off if you asked what the hell he was doing, and what he’d have no excuse for.
Holding your hand? Sorry, he didn’t notice he still was. Why was he standing so close? He could ask you the same thing. Why was he staring at you? He wasn’t, he just zoned out.
You never asked him these questions, but he still liked having the answers ready, knowing he had a tendency to push things.
JJ led the way further into the yard, bringing you along behind him. You didn’t let go or pull away from him, which JJ was sure he’d obsessed about later.
For now, he put on his best attitude to try and enjoy the night. He didn’t want to be a buzzkill, that was the last thing JJ thought of himself as.
“Where’s Kie?” Pope asked first, looking between JJ and you, wondering where the last member of the group was.
“Nice to see you too, Pope,” JJ sassed.
He had a feeling Pope might be crushing on Kie, but he wasn’t going to give him too hard of a time about it. At least he liked someone outside of his own house.
“She was right behind us,” you pointed out.
You turned your body to face where the jeep had parked, spotting Kie as she climbed out of her car. Not just that, but you dropped his hand. Were you just looking for an excuse to do so? Or was it just an afterthought?
JJ bit back his disappointment, shoving his hands into his pockets.
“Let’s get this party started,” you declared, finding the chair closest to you.
JJ sat beside you, which happened to be next to John B. His friend handed him a beer as a silent greeting, and JJ accepted the gesture with a nod. They were cool, everything was fine. Beers got passed around as soon as Kie joined the group and everyone began to unwind.
“I swear, we get the dumbest customers,” Kiara complained about work, shooting you a knowing look. “That lady today with the tattoo of Garfield on her arm?”
“Oh god,” you groaned and tilted your head back, as if just the memory gave you a migraine. “She walked up to the counter and was super rude to me, and then with a completely serious face asked how to get to The Wreck.”
“What’d you say?” John B wondered, raising his brows in curiosity.
“I told her it was a mile down the road.”
JJ chuckled alongside everyone else, appreciating the deviousness.
“Then what happened?” John B asked.
“She left,” you concluded, proud of yourself.
John B laughed hard.
You lifted your head a little to give him a look, but he just kept laughing. JJ saw the way a smile worked its way onto your face.
Okay, that was… fine. JJ didn’t want to be in a bad mood, so he angled himself to focus on you. It made him feel better. You always did.
“Your secret is safe with me,” Kie told you in a teasing tone. “Common sense and decency are both necessary life skills.”
The two of you clicked your bottles together at that.
“You think that’s bad?” Pope started what was surely a story of his own. “Try working grocery delivery for Kooks. The amount of people who ask for stuff they never ordered like I can just make it appear is crazy…”
And so that set everyone off on another tangent, but JJ noticed the subtle way you kept flicking your eyes to John B. JJ kept his back to the other boy, suspecting he wouldn’t be able to keep his mouth shut if he saw John B shooting you that flirty smile he used on Tourons.
They hadn’t explicitly had the conversation, but John B had to know you were off limits. Not just due to the whole ‘no Pogue on Pogue macking’ rule for the group, but also because of your connection to JJ. He didn’t see you as a sister, he never had. You were like a best friend who happened to live with him. But no one else knew that, so John B should take your relationship at face value and know a sibling of any kind was off limits.
And that was all aside from the fact that JJ was hopelessly into you.
It was ironic, really, because if you were any other girl that JJ was into, and John B knew that, he would’ve backed off. Especially because JJ actually liking a girl for more than just a night had never happened before. But you weren’t any other girl, and JJ couldn’t let John B know. Even more than that, he didn’t want you to know. The two of you had something incredible he couldn’t risk destroying. That knowledge didn’t stop him from wanting to take that risk, but fear did.
So it made it hard when John B didn’t let up on flirting with you. If it was obvious to him, it was obvious to everyone else. JJ observed you every time John B went out of his way to make you laugh, or the way you’d send witty comments his way. He couldn’t quite read you as well as he wished he could. It was hard to tell if you were truly reciprocating or just playing along. Although, he liked to think it was the latter.
Every once in a while, JJ would say something, and you’d look his way. The frustration he’d feel bubbling up at John B would simmer down when you focused solely on him, even for a short period. Listening to what he said, chuckling in response. No one had ever quite had that effect on JJ before you.
Suddenly, you let out a sound of amusement. It looked like it surprised you, snapping you out of your own head. It brought JJ back to reality too, unsure of what other conversation had been carrying on around him.
“What’s on your mind?” John B asked you before JJ could get a word out.
You shrugged, clearly having been zoned out too. “What’s on yours?”
“If El Dorado is real.”
Very funny, how clever. JJ kept back the sarcastic comment to himself.
“It’s definitely not,” Pope interjected, making JJ want to shake his head.
“You don’t dream of good and riches, Pope?” he asked the boy across from him. JJ got an eye roll in response, which was pretty on brand for Pope.
John B brushed past it, no doubt zeroed in on you. They had that in common recently.
“Your turn.”
You hummed, and JJ could see the way you fought back a teasing grin. “Where I’m gonna go on vacation. What do you think—Cancun or Bali?”
“Cancun is closer. What kind of room are you booking?” John B was quick to play along. “Ocean view would be nice.”
JJ felt a familiar twinge of jealousy. He shifted in his chair.
Then, you asked, “Why, do you wanna come with?” and JJ’s mouth felt dry.
“I don’t know, do you want the company?”
It didn’t matter if the scenario was fake, JJ was begging you to say no. Please no.
To shut himself up, JJ grabbed his beer and downed it.
“Maybe I do,” you replied, and JJ stifled a coughing fit.
You weren’t trying to hurt him but god did it burn. It was John B’s fault, baiting you into this, trying to make you… what, like him?
He needed to back off, that’s what he needed to do.
Just as JJ was about to say something, Kie swooped in and did it for him.
“Can you two quit it? All the flirting is making me nauseous.”
Same here, JJ thought to himself.
“Aw, don’t be jealous, Kie,” John B said smugly. “You can come with.”
Kiara rolled her eyes and so did JJ. John B sounded really full of himself right now and the thought crept in that someone should put him in his place.
“Barring the fact that this vacation is hypothetical, I’d also like to be invited,” Pope commented.
Seriously? Even Pope was endorsing this? Despite being last to speak, your eyes didn’t stay on him for more than a second, maybe. JJ counted.
A gnawing feeling struck in his gut as he finally looked to John B, knowing that’s who your eyes were on. The envy he’d smothered before boiled over all of the sudden. He wanted to blame it on the beer, but he wasn’t sure he could.
“‘Course you’re goin’, Pope!” The words burst out before JJ could stop himself, a strained laugh never even making its way out. It came out more hostile than he had intended, even if it really was what he felt. He dropped his hand to John B’s shoulder, fingers gripping a little too tight as he forced a smile. His teeth were clenched together behind a closed lipped smile as he locked eyes with John B. He looked startled. Good, JJ thought. “You got room for the rest of us? Or were you just gonna steal Y/N and take off?”
An uncontrollable bitterness had seeped into his voice by now. His fingers pressed in harder as no response came. It wasn’t a hypothetical question, he wanted an answer.
JJ wondered if John B would fess up, because it certainly seemed like that’s what he wanted to do.
John B looked… concerned. It made JJ falter for a moment. It made him question if he’d somehow fooled himself into seeing things differently.
“No one’s stealing anyone,” he replied carefully. JJ blinked. He became very aware of how silent the group had become. He nearly looked over to you, but John B wasn’t done. “You know that, right?”
JJ took a moment, eyes narrowing slightly, examining John B’s face and replaying the words. Was it an apology without the exact words? Or an attempt to get him to back down?
“It’s not like we’re actually going anywhere,” Kiara interjected, a subduing tone to her voice.
“Right,” JJ said slowly. He detached himself from John B, feeling the pressure of all eyes on him. Usually, he wouldn’t mind, but he was used to being the comic relief when that happened. He found his bottle and stared down at it as he held it tight in his hand. “Maybe some other time, when we find El Dorado,” he tried to joke, but it came out tense.
The silence that followed was louder than if anyone had laughed.
The focus on him made JJ want to crawl out of his skin. He couldn’t bring himself to look at you, because he knew he might break under your questioning gaze.
Blaming John B seemed like the easiest out in his mind, but he couldn’t get on a soapbox and point fingers now. He couldn’t even be certain you even liked the other boy, but just that thought made his head spin in the worst way possible. He tried to lift his beer and drink what was left, but nothing remained. Great. JJ looked at the bottle with spite. He wanted to throw it, but resolved to drop it and stand instead.
“I’m gonna get another, you guys want anything?” he asked in a mutter, walking off to the house.
When he got inside, JJ gripped the counter and bowed his head, catching his breath. He didn’t realize how he’d held it until he stopped for a moment to try and consciously breathe.
He needed to get control of himself, he was all over the place tonight. If he could just take a minute and let himself get settled, he could plaster on a smile and walk back out with a beer in hand and get drunk enough to ease his nerves.
Just when he pulled himself together enough that he thought he could walk back out, John B appeared in the doorway.
“You wanna tell me what that was?” John B questioned, crossing his arms over his chest.
JJ scoffed. He didn’t receive being cornered very well. Never had.
“Not sure what you mean.”
“Can’t exactly lie when I was right there,” John B countered. “Is this about Y/N?” JJ’s jaw clenched at the mention of you. That was answer enough. “I don’t know what you think is going on, but we were just messing around. Don’t be mad at Y/N,” John B requested, like he was some kind of knight who was protecting your honor.
“I’m not,” JJ replied.
“But you’re mad at me?”
JJ didn’t answer fast enough, but that was an answer in itself.
“I know what you’re thinking, okay?” John B paused in a way that sent a strike of fear through JJ. Had he figured it out somehow? Was he privy to JJ’s most shameful thoughts? “I don’t even know if she likes me back, but I would never hurt her,” John B continued, and air returned to his lungs. Fear switched back to anger. “You know I wouldn’t.”
JJ scoffed, and he couldn’t help the laugh that followed. Not only of relief, but with a sharp mocking for him getting it so wrong.
In addition, JJ’s suspicions being confirmed wasn’t something he was exactly happy about either.
“Okay, whatever you say,” JJ dismissed, trying to shove past him. John B stepped back in front of him, not letting him get away that easily. JJ’s face hardened as he was forced back into the house. “Are you trying to piss me off?”
John B looked taken aback. “So you don’t want to talk about this at all? Clearly it bothers you.”
“Have some sob fest and talk about my feelings with you? No, John B, I don’t,” JJ snapped. “And you and Y/N? Not gonna happen, so quit while you’re ahead.”
“Why?” John B challenged, squaring his shoulders. “Because you said so?”
JJ clenched his fists and his frown deepened.
“Yeah,” he decided. “Because I said so.”
John B seemed like he hadn’t expected pure honesty, and JJ took the opportunity to shove past him and escape out the door.
He kept his eyes forward, opting to go for his motorbike, knowing sticking around would only make this worse.
He heard John B behind him. “Seriously, JJ!?” JJ kept going, putting distance between the two of them. “Why are you making such a big deal about this?”
JJ ignored him, instead doing the safe thing and getting on his bike once he crossed the yard. He didn’t dare look anywhere but forward. He sped off before he could even think about it, all he knew was he couldn’t be here anymore.
Arriving at home wasn’t much better. In fact, it was worse. He threw his bike down in the yard and charged inside, and the way that he slammed the door behind him pissed his dad off. He’d been sleeping on the couch and the noise woke him up.
“With the way you’re storming in here you’d think you owned the place,” his dad berated, getting to his feet.
His dad got one strike to his cheek before JJ wised up and retreated. His father didn’t chase after him, behaving as if JJ was just a pest he had to swat away from his presence.
The pain in his cheek stung, and so did the tears in his eyes.
At that moment, JJ wished you were here. You’d cup his face and make sure he was okay. He’d pretend he didn’t need it, but you’d hug him anyway and tell him he didn’t deserve what happened, and that you were sorry, even though it wasn’t your fault.
Longing brought him to your room. With the way JJ took off, he guessed he probably wouldn’t be seeing you for a while. You’d stay at the Chateau and talk about it with the others. He felt awful for leaving you behind, but if he stayed for a second longer things would’ve gotten worse.
So here he was, making himself at home in your room. He didn’t bother to turn the light on, JJ simply sat down on the edge of your bed, thinking to himself.
He wondered what you were thinking about him leaving. He hoped you wouldn’t assume he was mad at you, although he wasn’t even sure what he wanted you to think. Maybe John B would tell you, and things would be awkward when you got back—if you came back tonight.
The thought of you spending the night alone with John B made JJ want to jump back on his bike, but he’d already screwed up a lot tonight.
JJ hated the way things were happening. It’s not like he wanted to be angry or even fighting with one of his best friends. John B didn’t know why what he was doing was so wrong, but JJ hoped his friend would still heed his warning and back off of you.
It was a waking nightmare, imagining you and John B as a happy couple, unknowingly rubbing in his face what he wanted with you but couldn’t have.
He reminded himself the two of you weren’t related, but it didn’t change how his anxiety told him his friends would look at him, or worse, what you’d think of him. JJ feared that you’d feel betrayed, that you’d judge him as if he presented himself as one thing while having an ulterior motive. What if he lost your trust? What if you could only ever see him as a brother?
It wasn’t his plan, it really wasn’t. He wasn’t planning on falling for you, it just happened and now he couldn’t stop it.
His entire body felt heavy, like all the thoughts piling up in his head were weighing the rest of him down.
What would you think of him?
JJ’s head hit your pillow and he inhaled deeply. Your scent still lingered, and it soothed the stinging in his cheek when it made contact with the cool fabric.
He shifted around until he got comfortable, his feet hanging off the bed because he knew you’d say something if he got his boots on the bed. He should’ve kicked them off, but he didn’t have the energy to.
Sleep never came, so JJ just laid still in the quiet, heart thumping against his ribcage with his chest pressed to the mattress, tracing his finger along the area within reach, pondering what the hell to say, or what he should’ve said, or not said at all.
Pope was pretty smart, maybe he’d have some good ideas about how to build a time machine. But even that wouldn’t solve all his problems. JJ would still be desperately in love with you and had not a clue what to do about it. He doubted Pope or anyone could help him with that.
He was long past fixing, this was just another item to add to the running list of screwed up things about JJ Maybank.
The sound of your bedroom door opening came a while later, but still sooner than he’d expected. Maybe an hour? Or less? JJ figured you would’ve hung out with the others later into the night.
He could feel your eyes on him, even if the dark didn’t allow him to see you all that clearly. JJ only shifted his gaze to your figure in the doorway, remaining still.
Then you went for your bedside lamp and clicked it on. Light filled the room and even if he was going to pretend he was asleep, that was no longer an option. You caught his eyes open.
“That really wasn’t cool,” you started. “Fighting with John B then storming off like that.”
JJ didn’t know how to respond to that. He glanced up at you still, looking over your form. He could tell you were upset, that much was for sure.
It still came as a surprise when you ripped the pillow out from under his head.
This wasn’t going to go away, apparently. Maybe he should’ve just put aside his instincts to seek out comfort from you and gone to his own room.
JJ sat up, full of regret. “Thanks, I’ll remember that next time.”
He saw the moment you noticed the new injury to his cheek. Your face shifted and he swallowed, jaw tightening.
“Don’t. It’s fine.”
You watched him for a moment, just as stubborn as he was. He wanted your comfort, not pity. You were frustrated with him, he’d fall apart if you still showed him kindness, maybe even held his face in your delicate hands. It was tempting, but every time you held him, his secrets threatened to spill out. It took everything he had to keep it in, but it was a losing battle.
“There’s not gonna be a next time, you need to fix this,” you stated firmly instead of trying to soothe him.
JJ scoffed, shaking his head. Couldn’t you just be on his side?
“Funny how you seem to think you’re the boss of me,” he grumbled, not wanting to talk about this with you. If he wanted this to stop, he had to get mean, and he’d never done that with you. But he felt as if he were on the precipice of something. “Why does it matter anyway? Can you just stay out of it?”
JJ recognized the defiant look of your face as you said, “Well, if you weren’t all weird and hadn’t ditched me, maybe I wouldn’t be involved.”
Yeah, he deserved that. God, why was he such a mess? His gaze fell to the ground, unable to meet your eyes.
“Sorry about that,” he apologized, and he meant it, too. “I shouldn’t have left you.”
He heard you sigh. “It’s fine, I got a ride with Kie.” Your voice held less annoyance than it had before. It was replaced by curiosity as you tried to decipher what went down. “Did you and John B fight about me?”
JJ tried to settle the panic that threatened to arise and he looked up.
He had to make the words come out as he got to his feet. “Is that what he said?”
JJ had to know.
“Not in those exact words, but he told me he liked me and that you weren’t happy about it.”
JJ tried to control the emotion on his face. He didn’t know what to say to that. He was trying to come up with the correct thing to say, to fix this without having to explain himself. He didn’t want you to be mad, but he needed you to stop asking questions before he slipped up and gave you an answer he could never come back from.
Instead of something thoughtful, or something clever, what came out was, “Don’t worry about it,” in a tone that made him wince internally.
You looked hurt, and then mad. JJ supposed he had earned that but it didn’t make it any better.
“How about you don’t worry about it? If I like him or not, it’s my choice,” you spat. “Not yours.” You poked him accusingly in the chest.
The fire in your eyes made JJ weak. He considered himself to be strong willed but if he thought you wouldn’t be mortified he’d drop to his knees and beg you to forgive him.
His mind went blank as he tried to gather what to say, but apparently he was going 0 out of 2 for proper responses.
“You can’t,” he rushed out, his true feelings getting the better of him.
He cursed internally.
The frown on your face didn’t come as a surprise as you repeated, “Can’t? Okay, JJ.”
It was 0 out of 3 now.
He could hear the mocking in your tone and something about that got to him. Were you actually considering getting with John B? Would you really do that to him? You’d never shown interest in John B before but now all the sudden you’d pick him over JJ?
“I’m serious,” JJ insisted, digging himself in deeper. “You just can’t,” he continued, voice wavering. He screwed up, he knew it.
You looked… confused, maybe?
“Why?”
JJ needed this conversation to be over before he fucked up even worse. He needed to stop talking but some stupid part of his mind wouldn't let him just shut his mouth.
“Can you just drop it?” he asked, trying to keep his voice steady, running a stressed hand through his hair. His hand paused, maybe if he applied enough pressure to his brain it would start working how he wanted it to.
“No, not when you made it a thing,” you replied sternly. “Just tell me what is going on.”
JJ’s scalp stung as his hand tightened. He wanted to—he really did. His eyes flicked to the doorway behind you, wanting to make a break for it.
“Can you not ask me that?” He let his hand fall to the side, trying to not actually hurt himself. Besides, you’d already accomplished that by laughing in his face. He felt his expression fall further and he decided to just end this now, “I don’t want to talk about this with you.”
You blocked him when he tried to walk out. If he wanted to, JJ could’ve shoved you out of the way and continued on. Maybe he should’ve. But when you looked up at him, forcing him to meet your gaze, he was stuck in place.
It didn’t matter how irritated with him you looked, JJ couldn’t help but admire you. His eyes fell to your lips, and he pressed his own together subtly, scolding himself for the urge to kiss you.
What if he did? What if he just went for it? At least he would know if he had a chance or not, or maybe you’d at least feel bad and not date John B. Maybe in this case he did want your pity.
Or you would be repulsed by him and he’d ruin one of the only good things he had.
“Can you just answer the question?” You watched him so intensely JJ thought he would crumble beneath your gaze. “You’re not a coward, JJ.” That got under his skin, rarely were you harsh with him. “You always speak your mind—so do it.”
Do it.
The words repeated in his mind over and over. Rationality told him that you didn’t mean it in the way he so badly wanted to interpret it, but impulse raced through his veins. His body began to move, despite the way his mind screamed at him to stop.
He didn't say anything.
It was incredibly foolish, but JJ gave in and did exactly what he wanted.
He kissed you.
The moment his lips pressed to yours, it was like it all clicked into place. His eyes fluttered shut but everything seemed more clear. His hands rose to lightly cup your face, needing to touch you.
JJ swore he wasn’t imagining it when you kissed him back. It was subtle, the way you allowed your lips to meld with his. JJ jumped at the opportunity, moving a hand to the back of your neck as he deepened the kiss.
Then, you parted from him with a gasp. JJ’s eyes snapped open and his heart dropped.
Oh fuck. What did he just do?
You looked like a deer in headlights. Which was funny, because JJ was the one who felt like he’d just been run over.
He opened his mouth, then shut it. He swallowed, scanning your face, waiting for the anger or betrayal to morph your features.
Thing was, neither did.
“Your face…” you said suddenly, softly. JJ furrowed his brows, not sure if he heard you right. Then you reached for him, fingers hovering over the new bruise he had forced you to ignore before. “You never said before—are you okay? Actually okay?”
JJ grabbed your hand and held it in his. He fought the urge to press it to his chest and pull you close, but instead held it between the two of you.
“I’m fine,” he muttered, but he wasn’t. He really, really wasn’t.
You nodded slowly, eyes turning to the ground as you stepped back and away from him. Your hand flinched up as you wiped your lips with the back of your hand.
That felt like a punch to the gut if JJ was being honest.
“I need to get some sleep,” you started, mind sounding distant. “So can you…”
“I’ll go,” JJ said in nearly a whisper. His feet felt like weights as he went for the door. You made no attempt to stop him this time. I’m sorry, he thought, but said, “Goodnight,” in a mumble instead.
He pulled your door shut behind him, only to collapse back against it. JJ buried his face into his palms then dragged his hands up through his hair.
He was such an idiot. Why the fuck did he do that? Out of everything he could’ve done, JJ just had to go and kiss you.
The full reality still hadn’t set in and he was already an anxious mess. He was on a precipice, alright. Only, he didn’t step over the edge of that cliff, he jumped. Without a parachute.
JJ locked himself in his room and only had the energy to kick off his shoes and strip down to his boxers before hiding beneath his covers, cursing himself the entire time. He ruined everything. After all this time trying to avoid his feelings for you, trying to make sure no one else found out, he went and blew everything up himself.
Classic JJ move.

Going Camping

Tumblr media
Sukuna-
This man would never be caught outside living in a tent, he's a king so of course he needs a palace. Though his daughter thought different, she didn't mind where she lived as long as she got food. He was sick and tired of her pleas to go sleep in the tree house, you were already asleep so there was no point in getting you, and he didn't trust the servants enough to be left alien with her. Forcing himself to sit in the cramped house, floorboards creaking as they felt his weight. "I brought smores!" Throwing the lunchbox full of food at her father. See, she wasn't allowed near a fire, so she didn't actually make s'mores, she just brought the ingredients up in hopes that her father would cook them. Closing the door behind her as she sat next to him. Kissing his teeth at the sight of half opened chocolate and marshmallows.
Nanami-
He'd do anything to keep his little girl happy, even if it meant risking his comfort for her.
"Daddy do that shadow show again!" Sat outside in the middle of the woods. You were already fast asleep so there was no point in getting you to help. "How about we do it tomorrow morning?" Clearly he wasn't thinking right because why would there be shadows in the morning. "Silly daddy!" A bit appalled at what he called him. "There won't be shadows in daytime, So you've got to do it now!" His daughter was very demanding when she wanted something, normally he'd never let it slide but he didn't have the energy to try and persuade her.
Geto-
"Tell me about that man daddy" resting her head ontop of his calf, the pair of them had just stuffed their faces with food from a local buffet he used to love going to with Satoru. Sat in the back of his jeep as they waited for you to come back from the shop. "You mean my former best friend?" Nodding her head in response, he'd take up any opportunity to talk about his life before becoming an antagonist. Smiling as he remembered the adventures the two used to do together "Well, he was my best friend before we had a disagreement." She didn't care for the backstory, only the part where they fought the bad guys. "And then we split up" keeping it vague. "Why though?" Kicking her legs up in the air as she stared at her toes. "Shouldn't you be asleep by now?" Deflecting the question.
Gojo-
His son had the bright idea to go camping, despite only getting interested because his friends went camping before and they kept convincing him to go.
"I don't like this story.." normally he'd never request a story off his father as he always messed it up with the stupid plots he came up with. Unfortunately for him, you weren't with them for this trip. Laying down in his sleeping bag as his father told the plot of little red riding hood somehow it got to the girl eating the wolf. "Be quiet" kicking the poor man in the shin as he realized he wasn't listening to him. "Ow! What's your problem?" Finally shutting up. "Your storytelling, SUCKS!"
Toji-
Footsteps waking her up from her daydreaming as she kept on stuffing her face. "Did you eat all the s'mores?" Walking back to the campfire after collecting some more fire wood. This was the only time he actually got to eat junk food because half the time he had you cooking him proper meals. "No" despite her mouth being stuffed with the food she still tried to deny it. "Don't worry, there's still some more.." you hoped that what you just said was true as you didn't even know if she had eaten the full bag of marshmallows. "There better be" throwing the logs on the floor as he placed himself next to you, already scowling.
