“When did you realize you were in love with the Jedi?” Yui Kodai is a quiet woman.

Kirishima had joked on the day the arranged marriage was announced she would be the perfect opposite to mellow him out. Instead Bakugou found he couldn't warn up to her icy tempered distance. Hell, he even forgot Kodai was in the training class opposite to his when they were kids. Damn Kirishima had to remind him.

Now in her sleek almost pristine bright crimson and white mandalorian armor, Kodai is the prime example of a mandalorian’s dream. But she’s not his.

Bakugou is the quiet one now and doesn’t respond to her. The truth, the answer, to Kodai’s questions feels so heavy even after everything that’s happened these past few days.

“You can’t deny it.” Kodai presses firmer and he knows she is right.

After all, Bakugou had ran off in front of her to you.

“I’m being relocated back to Coruscant.” You had told him two days before. “I…so I originally wasn’t suppose to be here. I had switched my first assignment location with a friend of mine and apparently the council found out. Guess it finally caught up to me.” You weakly laughed but it did nothing to lighten the awful thickness suffocating the air.

“I’m sure you’re excited that I won’t be bothering you anymore.” Even with the heavy revelation, you still had continued to tease but it was hollow as hell.

He had so many questions, wanted to say so much, needed to.

“.…yeah whatever.” But that was the only thing, the last thing, he said to you. Nothing else.

You returned to Coruscant without another word or even goodbye to him.

So Bakugou accepted that was the end. Your return back was the final sign for him to extinguish the fire roaring inside for you.

Then the damn Jedi temple gets attacked.

Bakugou, as a decorated war hero, as a mandalorian warrior, is a man forged and consecrated in victory. He scoffs at fear because he has faced it numerous times in bloodstained beskar and won. But when the data pad projected a fiery chaos erupting at the temple, pure terror consumed him. Bakugou simply moved like a man possessed. He even snarled to fight any of his comrades who dared stand in his way. He could not lose you.

So Bakuguo flew to you with no hesitation. And Yui Kodai, his intended, simply watched in silent judgment.

Now in the stillness of his home Bakugou feels the weight of this reality settling between them. He still hasn’t even answer Kodai’s question and he knows he needs to. She deserves the truth.

“Guess I can’t pin point when.” Bakugou finally admits, can’t even fully turn his helmet towards her. “Felt like maybe it was always just there. Just took me too long to catch up.”

He tried ignoring the aggravating frustration he felt towards you. He bared his teeth at it and tried to fight with his whole might. But that aggravation was simply tender adoration, a blooming love. It has always been there. You have always been there and will always be there. You are now apart of him, just as integral as his beskar armor. You might even be the strongest piece of him.

“I can’t go through with this, with us.” Bakugou tells Kodai. “I’m sorry, about all of it.”

He would take any penalties or punishments his people deem fit. He would accept ‘em with honor because for you, he’d do it all. He’d hold the weight of his love for you and bare it without waver. This whole situation is still shit though. It’s why he does mean his apology. Kodai is a good warrior, doesn’t deserve any disgrace.

She remains quiet and Bakugou fucking fidgets uncomfortable as hell under her damn composed silent stare.

“Well?” He snaps anxious at her lack of anger. “You gonna fucking yell at me? Call me a damn bastard or some other awful shit? Cause you can.”

Kodai again takes a moment and allows no words to fill his home.

“I am not going to yell at you or call you any names.” Her collected voice is chilling as it snaps his spine straight.

“We both went into this arrangement for the benefit of the other clans. I held no true affection for you and I figured you held none for me either.” Her dull direct tone slices through him sharp.

“I know many will disapprove of this. But I am not upset. I’ll hold no bitterness towards you or your Jedi. I am and always will be Mandalorian. That is all that matters.”

This is the most he’s ever heard her talk. Shit she didn’t even say this much when they got engaged. And for the first time he finally catches it - her true emotion, her quiet dignified conviction evident in her voice.

Bakugou can only nod but the underlying truth is there. She just told him ‘I was strong before you and I will be strong after you.’

Kodai moves to leave before he can even respond. Bakugou rises to see her out until Kodai’s sleek helmet whips back at him. He freezes. Won’t admit it but he is spooked when her helmet turns towards him.

“Be well Bakugou.” She bids him a simple, even kind, farewell. The door slides open and Kodai leaves with her words lingering behind her.

Bakugou sighs exhausted and thinks it rattles his bones. “Fucking hell.”

Yeah he still has so much to deal with, especially with the elders and other clans. But this with Kodai? He’s grateful it’s officially done. He’s also grateful to her. Kodai handled the situation way better than he would have and it’s why she earned his respect tenfold. Because if he saw you running off to someone else-

A wave of jealousy, so sticky and bitter, leaks into his heart at just the damn thought of a hypothetical rival and Bakugou wants to slam his bare face into a wall. This is what you have done to him - shaved him down to a lovesick man who would rip open a planet’s core for you.

With a final sigh, Bakugou heads to his bedroom. Quietly he slides past the door’s cover.

There in the comfort of his bed you continue to sleep soundly.

The medical bacta patches on your arm and shoulder are thankfully healing swiftly. Your face however still hasn’t regained its full bright energy back. He knew the medication would keep you asleep for a few days and as long as it takes, he will wait. He would wait decades for you because he already has been. But stars, he just wants you to open your eyes.

In the soft carved out space of his room, Bakugou slips off his helmet. He removes it off so easy and without reservation. It surprises him how certain he feels without it on.

The lanterns built in his room’s walls cast a gentle amber glow. As he finally stares at you without his helmet, a damn new star, a new galaxy, is born bursting right in his chest. You’re beautiful, so damn amazing, and he can’t believe he almost lost you.

Bakugou ran screaming your name into the chaos of the temple. He searched and searched without waver until he was victorious. Until there you were, lightsaber in hand landing a final swing to a trooper. Your shoulder was soaked in blood. When your face flipped towards him, your eyes wide and alive, air filled his lungs.

He doesn’t know who ran first. All that mattered was the beautiful collision of you and him meeting in the middle. His hands and your hands clutched and grasped desperate to solidify the other was real.

“What are you doing here?!” Your voice cracked as you yelled exhausted and on the edge of tears.

He couldn’t speak, couldn’t think. In the heat of battle, with destruction swirling, all Bakugou could do was clutch your face in his hands. You, his fierce fighter, his ridiculous shitty Jedi, were alive.

“Had to make sure you were safe.” He told you so surprisingly low in the middle of the destruction. He hoped you maybe had not hear him or the terror in him that was barely settling down now.

“You shouldn’t be here!” You instead screamed at him with more desperation and fear.

“No way! ‘m not fucking leaving!” Bakugou barked back loud. “I’m staying right here! By your side!”

His voice snapped convicted and your face fell.

Before you could yell anything back at him, Bakugou rapidly pressed his helmet covered forehead against yours.

It only took you a moment to realize what he had done. Because just as fast your hand flew to the side of his helmet. Then the pressure, the weight, of your forehead pressed back firmly against his.

A sacred kiss shared between his kind was shared between you and him right in the halls of the Jedi temple under siege.

If this was his way to a warrior’s death, then he would gladly greet it by your side protecting you ‘till the end.

Now with soft steps Bakugou leaves the memory and arrives to the side of his bed. He starts to lean his forehead down towards yours. But, he stops, swallowing back something thick. He wants to. Shit, he’s done this before with his helmet on.

But once his eyes flicker to your sleeping face, your voice suddenly chimes into his mind.

“Not yet…just be a bit more patient okay? Wait for me.”

You speak so clearly, as if you had suddenly opened your eyes, woke up, and started talking. He hears your smile, even clearly pictures the way it warmly crinkles your eyes.

Bakugou fully doesn’t believe in the force, definitely doesn’t believe in any other mystical type shit. He just believes in you.

So Bakugou slips his helmet back on. Without hesitation he presses his forehead delicate and light against the top of your head. His eyes squeeze close tight as the tears string.

For a split moment, he thinks about Kodai. He knows that even if he had gotten to know her, maybe even witnessed more of the fierce composed dignity he saw earlier, she would never be you.

You are the only one he wants to speak the sacred vows with.

That’s why he knows. Bakugou knows it will be worth it when he fully gets to experience you and you freely see him.

The next time he removes his helmet Bakugou knows it will be at the wedding ceremony when he ties his existence to yours.

“Yeah alright I’ll wait, you hear me? I’ll wait as long as you need. Just… just please, wake up soon my damn shitty Jedi.” Bakugou whispers and it is the closest thing to a prayer he will ever say.

This cover still puzzles me today, what's the real point of putting Izuku face to face with an adult All for one if there's no way that can happen, besides everything it's an AFO with the Final War Costume with his face fully regenerated but still with signs of the Helmet, it seems like an alternate reality where psycho's theory that All for one would get his face back before the war was true, maybe it's actually a small sign that his clone crack theory isn't as far from the truth as it seems first sight

It was purely out of fun and we didnt even took it that seriously, but after a while I startet to rethink that ridicolous crack theory and it actually makes way more sense then it at first seems to be. Dont get me wrong, its still completly crack though!

But its not impossible. The nomu mocha created a clone of dr. garaki, so who says that afo cant have one too?! Garaki hinted that afo can change his appearance/his face (he mentions in the message he left for afo that he always liked afos OWN smile and his OWN eyes), afo is 200 years old and has dotzens of quirks in his arsenal, he even has a quirk with which he can change his own dna so no one can tell me that man never considered to get a clone quirk. And the fact that one of his nomus has a clone quirk and that garaki can create copys of any quirk he wants, shows its actually very likely that afo has a clone quirk himself.

Lets not forget that clone quirks are actually quite important in mha. Twice as the most well known example, then we have toga who can turn into other people by drinking their blood in other words turning herself into their clone. We have mocha who had a clone quirk, garaki who had his own clone, garaki hinting that afo can change his appearance, afo saying that "this body is of no longer use for me."

And then also the fact how much hori is a star wars fan and how important clones are in star wars. Kamino in mha was named after the planet kamino in star wars on which the clones were created, the very clones which were used as CANON FODDER (something you can get rid off like a body you dont need any longer?) in the CLONE WARS and then used against their will to wipe out the jedi! Afo was inspired after darth vader who was once anakin skywalker and who had his own clone soldiers under him and after he turned to darth vader stormed the jedi temple with the clones. One of the most beloved star wars characters boba fett is a clone. The emperor cloned himself both in the old star wars canon and the new, the old canon books even had a luke skywalker clone. So we can all see without a doubt how much of an important role cloning in star wars has and it all startet in kamino - and the place were all might and afo had their fight and afo used as an hideout is named after that very planet.

So while the theory DOES sound completly bonkers its NOT impossible for afo to have a clone. And if bakugou manages to kill the clone afo just for the real one to show up fully healed and in his prime while he actually never left his fucking office in the chrysler building in new york city I will lose my shit!

What I meant, is how should I plan the writing, like reading the manga or looking for inspiration in different stories?

Ah.

Generally, yes, I would suggest being familiar with the source material if you intend on changing it. Whether that's the anime or manga or binging the wiki is up to you--I personally have a the wiki and a fan translation of the manga up at all times for reference.

Now, over time and thanks to asks on this blog and my various projects, I've become extremely familiar with various parts of canon, but an encyclopedic knowledge is not required so long as you can quickly find any information you need.

This is important for a few reasons. Chiefly, many readers will be familiar with canon and will notice discrepancies, which can be both a good and bad thing. For example, I greatly enjoy using canon events as a form of Dramatic Irony, like in Haigha when the Hosu Noumu attack never happens.

Being familiar with canon is also important for characterization purposes. If you really know how a character acts in canon it's easier to know how they'll respond to changes, making their personalities feel more fleshed out.

(Note that something feeling fleshed out is not always the same as it actually being fleshed out. Both is better, but the first is all you strictly need, and you rarely want to only have the second.)

More crucially to this ask, it makes the planning easier.

I'm assuming if you're rewriting canon and asking about planning things out, you aren't strictly following the way that things went in canon, and are doing something closer to my fics, where I cascade a single change into many more. This is the reason I'm personally so acquainted with canon. Knowing how each event in canon led to others makes it easier to see how changing any event will change the rest.

For example, the League attacked the Forest Camp to discredit Heroes, to acquire Search, and to recruit Bakugou. Either the League could have gone after Ragdoll at any time (presumably, it's possible they couldn't find her, though that seems unlikely), but waited until the Training Camp so they could also deal a blow to UA's reputation and acquire Bakugou. And they only wanted Bakugou because of how the Sports Festival ended. In other words, if the League doesn't have a way to find the camp, doesn't want Bakugou, doesn't want Search, and/or doesn't care about UA, there is no Forest Camp Attack.

As for inspiration, it can come from anywhere. Canon, fanfic, other works of media, random things you see in your day-to-day life, literally anywhere. I generally recommend that writers read lots of things--not just fanfic, either, but consume all kinds of media--to see more plots, narrative voices, technical writing, pacing, etc.

You can learn so, so much by reading books or watching tv or movies or playing games that don't even seem related to what you're actually planning on writing.

For example, here's HK47 in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 teaching you how to kill superheroes Jedi

I'm not sure looking for inspiration is necessarily the best way to put it. I find that ideas are fickle things, much like cats. They rarely show themselves when you actively seek them out, but come to you on their own terms.

The more stories you read/watch/play, the more familiar you will be with storytelling and common narrative beats, and the easier it will be to see the connections between ideas. This is as true with fanfic as with any canon material.

Here's a practical example. As of writing this, I'm running a series of polls titled Let's Make A Shonen! where I had various selections of tropes, settings, and plot devices necessary to create the barebones of a hypothetical shonen series. At the end of which, I'll write up the plot synopsis of the resulting series. At this moment, Magic is winning the Power System poll by a landslide at more than twice the second-place option, and in the How Does The Protagonist Learn Their Powers poll, the front-runner is the the powers themselves are sentient.

With about 50 hours left in the poll, I've agonized a bit over how I wanted to combine these plot points, before the answer came to me. Magacite from Final Fantasy 6--where Espers are turned into crystal upon death which can be used as a means of summoning that Esper or to teach magic to the party member equipped with that Magacite. By taking this idea and tweaking it, I can fit it neatly into place as the combination of those two polls, and by extreme coincidence I can tie it into several other polls as well, such as the main antagonist being The Government and the first arc being a Fetch Quest. The protagonist needs to get the Legally-Distinct-Magacite before the government does. Easy.

This is something I'd never have thought of if I hadn't known about the plot of Final Fantasy 6, which, while overlapping, isn't a shonen at all.

imagine Jedi mitsuya training the younglings in the temple gardens, you catch a peek as you're walking past and you can't help but giggle when one of the Force trainer devices bonks him on the side of the head because he's too busy sneaking a smile at you. he can feel his face grow hot with embarrassment when it happens, the younglings gathering around to ask "master mitsuya, are you alright?" he laughs it off with a nod, just happy to see you're still there in his peripheral vision, grinning.

imagine sparring with Jedi bakugou in one of the many training rooms in the temple. you're preparing yourselves to be sent over to a planet in the outer rim in hopes of keeping them within the republic, and you know things could break into "aggressive negotiations" quickly. the whole time he's playfully egging you on, telling you that "you better keep up if ya wanna beat grievous" and going "c'mon, i know you can fight better than that!" it's his way of telling you you're important to him.

Cad Bane sighs. “Just know, this ain't personal, kid. Just business.” He flips his coat back revealing his own pistols, letting his hands rest by them.

He’s pissed off. Bakugou needs a map from one of your archive records and it’s late. He should be in bed and he’s pissed off.

So he stomps over to your little homestead at the edge of village and bangs his hand hard on the wall. He bangs, bangs, and bangs until he hears you scream through the door-

“Stars, what the hell do you want this late Bakugou?!”

He’s about to yell at you because how the hell did you know it was him?

But then the door slides open and there you are. All of his thoughts quickly burst from his mind as if one of his explosives went off.

Your face is scrunched up like a furious beast, but he can’t even focus on that. In the dim evening light a sheen glistens across your entire face as if you’ve put something on it like a cream or some other shit.

And…you’re in a sleeping tunic.

The tunic is simple and leaves your forearms bare. You’re not in your sacred robes and his mind can’t process it for a moment. You seem so normal, as if you’re not a revered peace keeper.

“What do you want?” You ask again through gritted teeth and it reminds him that yeah, you’re still the same annoying shitty Jedi. You just…don’t look like it.

“The archive map.” Bakugou answers back an angered bark because now he’s twice as pissed off and can’t stop staring at you.

“Are you serious? Right now?! This couldn’t wait?” You sigh exasperated.

“No it can’t wait, shitty Jedi!” Bakugou snaps back and you make an indignant noise he almost laughs at. But you whip around fast and storm back into the living quarters.

“Come on.” You seethe at him from over your shoulder.

A small piece of him freezes. Hesitation clutches at him to stay still, to be respectful and wait outside. He doesn’t. He instead follows you inside.

All the living quarters for single warriors are the same. He’s thankful being clan leader allows him a larger space cause shit the regular ones are small as hell. The bed, compact kitchen area, and even small lounge couch are all in the same space. The only other room is the fresher door off to the side.

They all look the damn same.

Except yours doesn’t. Of course it fucking doesn’t.

The elders had given you this homestead as a sign of good faith and trust instead of letting you sleep in the crappy makeshift tent you brought.

And now that he’s here, Bakugou realizes he’s never seen inside of it. He’s never been inside of this makeshift apartment of yours.

He greedily drinks in every sight he can, flat out stares without any shame behind the safety of the helmet.

Mountains of scrolls and text clutter the small table you sit in front of now. A small mug rests besides the clutter with a drink inside already cooled. In the compact kitchen a couple of candles illuminate the space with their soft flames. Even a small incense stick releases gentle smoke floating into the air. When the hell did you even get this crap? Did you bring it with you?

Shit, even the lighting of this room looks so different. He has the same lamps you do that are carved into the walls and produce a soft amber light. Except your space seems to glow a different shade. Bakugou can’t describe it. He wonders if maybe he’s slipped into a new dimension. Or, maybe he is now just existing stuck between a dream and something else.

“You can sit down.” Your dull voice snaps him out of his tumbling thoughts as his helmet towards you. You stare at him bored, holopad in hand.

“No.” He flat out tells you and just as quickly turns his face away because he can’t. He will stare at you again if he lets his gaze linger anymore on you.

So he goes back to staring at your room.

He tries not to focus at your messy bed because quickly he begins to imagine you in the sheets, wonders if they smell like you-

Bakugou violently squishes those thoughts away and instead examines your night stand. Then his crimson eyes go wide fast.

“You kept a damn rock from that glow cave we got stuck in?”

The memory is so clear to him.

In that damn cave illuminated by all the weird glow worms was the first time you and him were stuck alone together. That’s why Bakugou recognizes the rock cause of course those worms are still glowing here and he doesn’t even know how. But that cave…that was the first time he truly trusted you, knew he couldn’t see you as an enemy anymore.

Now here a rock from that damn cave rests on your nightstand almost grinning at him.

“Yeah.” You suddenly snicker a low thing as you answer him. “I couldn’t help myself. The rocks were just too pretty. Plus…wanted to just remember that day.”

Your voice is so soft and Bakugou thinks it clutches his heart like a shriek hawk. He whips his helmet back to you. Very quickly he catches your eyes on him for just a second before you rapidly return your attention to the pad.

With your focus there he goes back to again flat out staring at you. This is most of your skin he’s seen. He noticed you bare arms first earlier when the door slid opened. But now, he finds you’re even bare foot. You are here cozy, warm, and relaxed, so openly making this space a home. You here are not a sacred jedi - just you.

It makes Bakugou want to storm out. He wants to leave so badly because he wants, more than anything, to carve out a spot for himself here. He wants to sit on the couch and give you shit for whatever meal you make for dinner. He wants to know what type of tea you favor more. What does your incense smell like? Which of those scrolls do you read the most?

It’s all too much. Especially now as his gloved fingers dangerously itch and beg to run a soft path against any bare skin you’ll let him get close to.

He can’t take this.

So Bakugou yanks his gaze away to scanning the room yet again. And he can’t help it. His attention returns to your bed. This time though his entire body feels as if he’s been suddenly drop kicked into an icy lake on the frozen planet Hoth.

Because there on your nightstand sitting by the dang rock is your lightsaber.

Damn, he’s more upset with himself that he didn’t notice it first.

Quietly unassuming, Bakugou once even joked the weapon looked like a piece of discarded metal found in a junk yard. He now thinks it radiates some freaky as hell sensation and that the saber might be alive, breathing, silently judging him. Because he swears the piece of junk is staring straight at him, a sharp reminder of the the consecrated truth. Bakugou has been trying to believe that here, in this room, your reality is blurred and you aren’t the ancient enemy his ancestors warned him about. But that lightsaber is proof.

It is the literal manifestation of the deep chasm between you and him.

He is a mandalorian. You are a Jedi.

As he continues to stare at the damn freaky light stick he can’t even hate it, especially after you told him you made it yourself.

Bakugou learned from you that Jedi hand make their lightsabers. From picking the metal, to the color of the actual saber which apparently you even had to go and find the crystal used to power it, the process was extensive, intimate. Crafting a lightsaber by hand is meant to forge a bond and solidify a Jedi to the saber that would be with them for life. It is a union between weapon and warrior that, as a mandalorian, Bakugou appreciates. He realizes now he’s never taken the time to truly look at yours.

He finds you in every inch of that dumb metal stick. From the coloring, to the groves of steel, to the actual length of it, it all screams you.

But Bakugou is disgusted that everything now simply screams you. It’s like he can’t escape you. But he’s a mandalorian, a damn good one. So he won’t be defeated by a dumb Jedi, especially by you.

“Alright,” your voice breaks his thoughts. “All done here.”

You stand up to hand him the map now transferred to a small pocket projector he can take with him.

Bakugou swipes it from your hand quickly because he now fears touching any part of you might cause him to combust. Not saying another word Bakugou stomps off to the door.

“You’re welcome.” You joking tease and it freezes him.

Bakugou takes a deep inhale.

“Yeah whatever you did your job shitty Jedi. Get some sleep.” It’s the closest thank you he’ll say to you.

The door slides open and Bakugou almost used bud jet pack to get away as fast as he can from you.

Later when he’s back in his room trying not to think about your homestead or your bare skin or how soft you looked, a thought fires into him.

Jedi weren’t suppose to have attachments.

He knew that.

He supposes forms of attachment meant more of the emotional type. Because all the shit in your room, that small glowing rock, they all seem like attachments. Yeah they were physical ones and small compared to something that could be considered corruptible.

But they are attachments all the same.

And for some reason, Bakugou goes to sleep pleased at the thought of you having them.

He doesn’t like that he’s happy at the thought of you being a bit selfish. Rationally, he argues that it’s because he’s a mandalorian. Seeing possible cracks in a Jedi has to count as some sort of victory. But the more he lingers on these thoughts, the reality sinks it’s teeth into him harder and draws blood. It makes him feel selfish and shitty.

Because if he wasn’t mandalorian, Bakugou knows he would have felt the same way. He was just glad he got to see this side of you - of you not being so Jedi, just being normal, bare, and open. This version of you Bakugou saw tonight, along with the thoughts he can’t quiet down, all keep him up for the rest of the night.

And what ends up pissing him off the most?

This encounter should have solidified that he is pure mandalorian at any moment just like how you are pure Jedi at any moment. But instead it has Bakugou feeling as if his beskar has been stripped and he now stands simply a man consumed by the thoughts of another, of you, of simple pure you.

1. How many works do you have on Ao3? 

96! We're approaching the triple digits!

2. What’s your total Ao3 word count? 

277,273 words!

3. What fandoms do you write for? 

At the moment mostly Star Wars, trying to get around to finishing up my ongoing BNHA series. I'm not writing batfam anymore.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

an ill-advised gift (Star Wars), Breaking: Local Man Leaves Apartment for Eggs, Returns With a Child (BNHA), Breaking: Local Child is Straight Up Not Having a Good Time (BNHA), Breaking: Local Man Throws Cats at His Problems (BNHA), Failed Hunts and Little Stowaways (Star Wars).

5. Do you respond to comments? 

Yes! When I first started posting on AO3 I decided to respond to every (non-hate) comment. I've kept that up for over two years now!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? 

Oof, that's actually a bit hard. Actual no comfort angst is probably between the different flavors of And Still The Galaxy Turns, It's A Sad Song, and here and now, if this is it (all Star Wars and major character death with Jedi, Clone, and Alderaan feels respectively).

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? 

Happiest ending is probably... Hey, Look! Free Sibling! (Batfam). I am a hopeful/bittersweet ending person at heart.

8. Do you get hate on fics? 

Not much proper hate these days. I did quit writing for Batfam in part over hate comments but for the most part I've been pretty fortunate.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? 

Nope, I tried once just to try but it's not my thing. I'm content writing around it if necessary.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written? 

No, I enjoy reading them but I've never actually written one.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? 

Not yet!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? 

I haven't!

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship? 

These things come and go. I'm a casual multi-shipper and have been around for many a beloved ship. Right now I'd say Feemor/Jaster, I loved writing Weddings and Other Methods of Deadly Swamp Access.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? 

I will finish them all! I will! However, I'm self-aware enough to know that The Extended Adventures of Bakugou Katsuki and His Horrible Murder Kitten is the least likely to happen. I like Bakugou, I don't love him and that's generally a killer for me with long-running WIPs.

16. What are your writing strengths? 

I'm good about following through on individual fics. I generally focus on one WIP at a time with a random one shot thrown in when I get bored/tired. These days I almost always start posting after most of the fic is written because having eternally incomplete stuff stresses me out.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Endings, I usually have a general idea but I spend more time and energy on endings than any other part of the writing process. Also, while focusing on one project at a time is great it also means that certain series get left to the wayside for months/years with no progress.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? 

Excluding the occasional Japanese word I've only really done conlangs and I've definitely changed over time. I used to use a lot more Mando'a and even some Dai Bendu in fic. I'm much more sparse with it now, primarily for ease of readership and because in my experience the way many people write it isn't how people talk.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Technically veggie tales but really DC Comics. Back when I was a young teenager! I had a whole crew of OCs with cool powers.

20. Favourite fic you’ve written? 

Ah, that's hard. I have so many and they're so different. I still have a lot of affection for all of them, even the ones I wouldn't write today. I genuinely don't think I can pick an all time favourite.

There is also, No Skywalkers (so no Luke or Vader) and little to no characters from Star Wars media in the story. Timeline wise it is different from Star Wars Canon as well.
