hope has one tattoo on the back of her neck. it's rarely seen, as the tribrid doesn't often wear their hair up off their neck. it's two sets of initials: K.M. and H.M. for klaus and hayley. hope had gotten these shortly after their deaths, before returning to mystic falls.

hope’s VAMPIRE / HYBRID TEETH are a little different than the normal tvdu vampire. most of her front teeth (apart from the incisors) become longer and pointed, giving her a more deadly and lethal bite. this is also to help her consume as much blood as possible in one bite by opening more points in the flesh of who she drinks from.

hope is 5'1 FLAT FOOTED but she appears taller because of always wearing heels of some kind. this makes them seem taller than they really are, usually anywhere around 5'5 depending on the shoe.

with no god arc / spear, hope instead shipped the only existing red oak stake to josie.

current timeline / active plots.

anyone in the past (2012) would be introduced to hope as hope marshall; just to keep the issue of a new mikaelson in new orleans off the list of problems.

additionally, she would keep the tribrid part a secret. to other wolves she will present as just a werewolf. to any vampire or witch, she will be a witch-vampire hybrid.

one of her first decisions when coming to the 2012 timeline, hope immediately went to the bayou and broke the curse on the crescent pack. selective in the truth, hope convinced them to trust her based on the birthmark on her shoulder.

there is a small sect within the resistance that hope has become a defacto leader for. this wasn't an intentional thing but when it became clear that chris halliwell wasn't willing to do the necessary things, sometimes the gruesome and horrible things, hope started to take on these tasks. a few people followed in her footsteps and began looking to her for guidance & support. these members of the resistance agree that peace won't be possible with just talking and negotiations, that there will be a war and it's best to be prepared.

when coming back to the past, hope refused to leave anyone behind and with the help of lizzie and josie, freed rafael & his parents from the prison world. in order to save rafael, as he was still dying from the necromancer's influence, she offers him blood to turn him into a hybrid.

Summary:

Standing in the way of solving this mystery, however, there are the romantic entanglements pulling the kids apart: Shaggy finds himself unable to put his new romance with Velma ahead of his longtime friendship with Scooby, while Daphne pines for Fred, who is obsessed with building traps and obliviously struggles to realize that he shares her feelings, too.

Sam/Josh AU of my heart

that I am probably never going to get around to writing

This is set in the mid-90s, unlike the show which starts in 1999.

Josh Lyman: a former Washington staffer, went home to Connecticut when his father died and became interested in flipping his home district. When he failed to find a candidate, he ran himself and won a close race. He's fairly progressive, but mindful that his district is in play. He votes in favor of gay rights when bills come up, but never takes an active or public role in promoting them. He's gay but very closeted and has a string of brief relationships with smart, powerful women in order to keep up appearances.

Mandy Hampton: when Josh breaks up with her close to the beginning, Mandy tells him she knows he's gay. Needing a place to stay in DC, she offers to pretend to continue dating him in exchange for staying at his apartment. Later, Mandy moves out when she meets Lloyd Russell, but finds Josh a new beard/roommate:

Donna Moss: a junior staffer in Josh's office, who is also the most competent person on the staff and has been quietly running his office because his chief of staff is an idiot. By the end, Josh figures this out and promotes her. When Donna breaks up with her boyfriend and urgently needs a place to stay, Mandy suggests she take her place in Josh's apartment, reasoning that a mildly scandalous (and barely so, because he's not married) relationship with a staffer is a great way to appear straight.

Andrea Wyatt: a married, straight congresswoman who supports gay rights and becomes one of Josh's political allies.

Matt Skinner: a gay Republican congressman. Josh and Matt are friends and both aware of each other's orientations. Josh trusts Matt and tries to bring him onboard to get bipartisan support for a gay rights bill.

Sam Seaborn: a successful attorney, Sam was about to make partner at Gage-Whitney in New York. The partners were aware that he was gay, but as Sam is fairly removed from the gay scene and not "in your face" they tolerated it. Sam began providing pro bono counsel to people with AIDS in his free time, which the partners did not approve of. They pressured him to stop, leading Sam to quit the firm. After, he picked up and moved to DC, where he began a fledgling gay rights grassroots lobbying organization. Sam is personally only interested in serious, monogamous relationships, while strongly defending the right for anyone to engage in any relationships they want.

Laurie: a law student and sex worker who became involved in AIDS activism because of the impact on sex workers and eventually became involved in gay rights through that work. Begins volunteering for Sam and is eventually hired when he has the funds.

Sam fixes on Congressman Lyman when he notices his pro-gay voting record, despite a lack of public statements. Initially a thorn in his side, Josh eventually finds Sam convincing, and they begin working together on a gay rights initiative. Sam accidentally figures out Josh is gay early on and they quickly become friends. Their strong working relationship is complicated by the growing feelings they both have for each other, but don't realize are shared.

Josh does eventually come out publicly and either loses re-election or decides not to run. The ending is Sam and Josh finding out Jed Bartlet is running for president and getting involved with his campaign.
