Had a torturous run at Feh's Tempest Trials. Took me 67 turns to defeat Duo Rhea. I used Zelgius to tank and chip damage her and Lucius to heal afterwards. Someone on bluesky gave me advice, so I tried again again with Ascended Idunn for extra damage against armor units and Duo Kagero to null miracle effects. Idunn obliterated most of my next run almost single-handedly, but was useless against Rhea. Ended up relying on Zelgius again, but this time with Duo Kagero speeding things along via hit-and-run so I am not doing pure chip damage. I have been playing Feh for years, but starting last year, it's getting really difficult to continue being a free player. Also, here is some art.

Napling

Another Nimi fanart. Experimented with using layers with my drawings, gaining more experience with MS paint.

I have been practicing my art by drawing landscapes. Other than my super messed up red and blue tree, my first attempt actually looks presentable. I am a less sure of my attempt at a mountain, but I am getting more comfortable with my trees. Oh, and my Nimi fanart.

Thinking back on the Animal Crossing art I have posted, I have decided to draw Nimi's mascot again, but this time actually using a reference for what her mascot looks like. I'll still draw basic brown tapirs in the future, though.

Wanted to play around with colors for this drawing. I saw this palate from a YouTube thumbnail and wanted to try it out myself. I like it, I think an orange sky and green land makes for a nice looking combination.

Wanted to try drawing a lake instead of an island, but I couldn't get into it. There is something about this drawing that frustrates me. May as well post it anyways, as messy as it is

Persona 5 is based on thieves, so I think a good idea for Persona 6 is fairy tales. The idea inspired me to make this drawing. Though in all honesty, I don't think I'm remotely experienced enough for human-like drawings. I'll stick to landscapes and simple animal OCs for now.

I wanted to try drawing more man-made structures. So why not a lighthouse instead of a tree in my seascape? I want to continue drawing buildings for now.

I tried to draw a lake again, and it came out looking much better. A snowy lake with snow-capped mountains is something I have done before, but it looks much cleaner here.

I have been experimenting with background colors. Honestly, the waterfall does not look good, flowing water is surprisingly hard.

The recent Chrome update took away the ability to discard tabs. I like to jump around between a ton of tabs, so I'm very reliant on discarding. In addition to particularly bad wi-fi, I had a very frustrating time on the internet today.

Unlike Fauna, I have never watched any of Mumei's streams, but I have watched enough collabs to know just how precious she is and I'm just as devasted to see her leave.

Amazing how you can spend half an hour arranging your party, and as soon you hit go you realise a major mistake. So many times in feh I created a team that got hard-countered by a single enemy. I feel silly that I made an all-horse team twice in a row.

I was watching painting videos on youtube and the instructor of one video (Dorothy Dent) moved so fast I could barely keep up. So of course it's her video I decided to follow. Just look at how lopsided my cabin and fence are from me trying to keep up with her. I know I could pause, but I feel it's against the spirit to do so.

My mom got some Haribo Berries, and they are surprisingly great! She regrets only getting two bags and not more. Anyways, I was drew mountains again. This time, I fell back even further of my old cliches, blue mountains, water, and trees. And I can really see how much I have improved in the past couple months.

My previous snowy night drawings are very blue, so this time I decided to do something a bit different. Also, I tried drawing a building this time. It looks weird, but whatever, I tried.
