Mehb just chuckled as she watched Jaz take care of her laundry. Still being firm in her belief that all the stories that Jaz told to her were nothing but fictional.

That was until she witnessed what she thought was Jaz, suddenly disappearing into thin air after she put down the laundry basket. This perplexed the young wolfwalker, and she tilted her head and tried to squint to see where she had gone. “Wait wot...?” She mumbled, starting forward and trying to sniff out where Ms. Alvara had disappeared off to. “I don’t get it, those rings can’t actually have any power to ‘em can they? I mean they don’t even look like they’ve been enchanted or anything! It’s ridiculous!”

“Yeah, not buyin’ it lass.” The little skeptic just rolled her eyes. “Cosmic stones? Space people? That sounds like somethin’ outta an old wives tale!” She scoffed, being blissfully unaware that her own kind had become a bit of a wives tale themselves. Being reduced to nothing more than myth and legend in the modern day.
