I'm planning on either writing a short-chapter fic or making some comics to explain her backstory/role in the series as a whole, but I'll give a few details here!
She was hired to watch Dean and Hank while Brock was out on his camping trip in S1 E3 "Home Insecurity."
The episode as a whole is different in this canon, and Jaz ends up fighting off a lot of henchmen to keep the boys safe.
She was kept around as an extra safeguard for the boys since Brock can't be everywhere at once.

How do you do the compression/blur in your screenshot edits?
Thanks for asking! For starters, I'm working with an old software called Autodesk Sketchbook, which I'm 90% sure is only available on mobile devices now? So I'm not sure how well this translates to other drawing apps.
1. I start by drawing my character, Jaz, normally and coloring her as I would for any other drawing.
2. I combine all the layers to her drawing and scale her down, that way the pixels get compressed and blur.
3. I scale her up her again to the size I want and viola! She's blurry like the Screenshot quality!
