The date was a good time, and definitely gives Jayden's confidence a boost, but at the end of the night when he "makes the move" he's rejected.

Bonnie does like him, but they're not actually at the crush level just yet. And Jayden's a little mixed up right now - what with his Dad's death. The date's brought up some lingering ex-regrets, too...

When his family had gone to bed, Jayden let his tears fall freely. Starla had been his first and only love. It was going to take a long time to get over her, and it was going to be hard to figure out his life without her.

While Hallie helps herself to some cake, Ken swoops in and immediately shows himself to be one of the most doting dads I've seen.

Gabriel: Da!

Ken: Aren't you sweet! Just wait until you meet your little brother...

Jayden: I... it's been seasons. If they like each other, good for them.

(ngl, I remember mentioning to @moocha-muses forever ago I hoped these two would hook up, since they flirted way back in freshman year of college. I didn't expect them to autonomously make out at a party though, espeically since I'm not playing with ACR.)

Hallie: She's not random, she's from college! She said she'd be up for a jam session some time if you like. There's no need to look like that, it's not like it'd be a date if you don't want it to be-

Jayden: Is Mom okay? Maybe we should get her a blanket or something.

Hallie: Yeah... maybe the bedroom is a little too much for her right now.

Jayden: It's not like he can help it.

Hallie: Bleh, it's still gross. Would you change him? Pretty please?

Jayden: You do it! He's your baby.

Hallie: Ugh, fine.

Hallie: You'd better appreciate this when you're all grown up, angel!

Hallie: I mean, he's a baby! Dad says they don't stay small long.

Jayden: It's gonna be weird to get used to you having, like, an actual baby.
