By the way, i'll also analyze a bit about her "redemption arc".

Honestly, most people assume that she can be redeemed, me too. But it's really hard and I'll explain this in this post.

Probably, there are a lot of people think that she ignored to be a better person JUST because of her ego and old-fashioned personality. To me, it's not only that. It also come from her self-hatred, she always assumes that she is a failure due to her origin on Earth. Like Rebecca said, Jasper is very different compared to Peridot and Lapis. As a "failure", she deserves everything worst that happened to her, she doesn't deserve to be better.

Besides, she might also be affected by the "Pink shattered" event. She messed up so many things, blindly revenge for her Diamond so that such that she harmed herself and be corrupted and people just see her as a f*cking villain. It's really hard to hear. Until the day she came back in "Change your mind", imagining how surprise she was when she knew that Pink and Rose are one and she misunderstood everything in thousand years. Did everything worst for revenging and then there was no reciprocation for that. After that, when Homeworld no longer wants to invade the planets, she herself has no value. Probably, the biggest thing she wants is not just power, that's serving her Diamond.

Anyway, she still has a long journey to go. I just hope she can move on from these traumas.

Imagining you're hated just bc you did a mission for revenging the one who gave you life, how does it feel ? Not easy to hear, right ?

Actually, not just Pearl, Spinel or Volleyball, Jasper was also affected by the "Pink Shattered" event. Sometimes, being so perfect also carries a burden. Everything she did is just for revenging Pink, the one who gave her life. This is also the things that very few people notice then hate her because of her outward actions.

She is a terrible person and nothing can justify or defend for her unacceptable actions, that is the truth that no one can deny. But I think Jasper deserves sympathy, she needs to be raise by a better person. Her trauma does not excuse her action, but it explain them. She is ruthless but I understand why she is ruthless because she was born in an old-fashioned society and if you want to survive in a harsh society like Homeworld, you have to be cruel and that is the rule of life. So I will blame mostly on the Homeworld.

That is also a reason why I love Jasper. Not just bc she is hot, but also her determination.
