jason knew him. of course he knew mr. weiss. friend of his parents. gay, like dad. mendel had been the one to drop him off. just for the night. the apartment was close to the hospital, and mr. weiss was trusted to keep him safe.

he decided to have his bar mitzvah in whizzer's room, and whizzer had -- everyone he cared about the most had been there, and now whizzer was --

his left thumbnail mindlessly picks at a loose thread on the end of the opposite sleeve. he stops, remembering it isn't his hoodie. he gives @inrovina the once, twice, thrice-over. all he'd been able to do, before he'd done it until he'd fallen asleep, had been to cry. he figured an introduction was in order.
