I Know Your Wife (She Wouldn’t Mind) - Part Fifty-Nine
Summary: Austin is hit by a storm and you distract yourself with a Q&A with your followers. Your pregnancy is coming to an end as Jensen, Danneel, and the kids come to visit. Words: 2k + instagram stories Jared x Reader x Gen Warnings: pregnancy, mild angst
I Know Your Wife Masterpost
When the storm hit, you had to work extra hard not to completely freak out.
You were supposed to be going to your 18 week scan, hopefully finally finding out whether you were having girls or boys seeing as they’d remained stubbornly in the wrong position throughout the 16 week checkup, but obviously you weren’t able to get there due to the road conditions.
A pipe burst in the house, flooding the floor of what was supposed to be the twins’ nursery and caving in some of the ceiling underneath, and both Jared and Gen insisted that you didn’t help with the cleanup so that you didn’t cause yourself any unnecessary stress at that time.
You had no power or internet connection, so you couldn’t stream, or even call your parents to check in, and it was absolutely freezing outside of the house so searching for connection elsewhere was out of the question. The only real positive of the situation was watching the kids and the dogs play in the snow once it was safe to go outside.
Almost as swiftly as the storm arrived and caused havoc, it was over. The sun came out, the snow melted away and, apart from the future nursery’s water damage, everything went back to normal.
When you eventually got back from your rearranged scan, you decided to hold a little Instagram stories Q&A as you’d been MIA during the whole storm.
You wanted to get back in touch with your followers, especially seeing as Gen was so active and, frankly, making you look bad.
You posted the ‘Ask me anything’ to your story and were shocked at how fast questions started coming in. You found a show to watch in the background while everybody was out before properly settling in to answer some questions.
By the time you'd answered most of the more frequently asked questions, everyone else had returned from their walk.
Bailey was clearly exhausted, walking straight over to you in the living room and flopping down at your feet.
"Did they wear you out, baby?" you asked, scratching between her ears. "You'd always be home with me if you had the choice, huh?"
“She had fun,” Tom told you, coming to sit beside you.
You put your arm over his shoulders, pulling him closer to you.
“Did you?” you asked him.
“Yeah,” he confirmed, leaning against you. “Did you have a good afternoon?”
“I’ve been super lazy,” you admitted, earning a laugh from Genevieve as she walked in.
She leaned in to kiss the top of your head before sitting down on the other end of the couch.
“You’ve got babies to grow, you’re doing your best,” she reminded you.
“I’ve been watching Glee and posting on instagram,” you deadpanned, earning another laugh which made you crack into a smile.
Dallas came in at a run, giggling as Shep chased behind her, Jared following with an exasperated smile.
“Thanks,” you told him as he handed you a lemonade.
You took a sip, offering some to Tom before resting it down.
“No worries,” he told you, picking up the remote control as he sat down.
He stopped the box set and put on a movie that the kids would enjoy, the six of you settling in to watch in a comfortable silence.
*****
Everything continued as normal.
Your time was split between parenting, dog-walking, and streaming - your viewership still growing steadily. You were still in contact with the game production team, spending a few days in the studio to record your sound between scans and all of your other commitments.
By June 30th you were officially the most pregnant you had ever been, and you could absolutely feel it. Your date schedule had stayed in place up until you hit 35 weeks in your pregnancy, your body too tired for any other activities while carrying two healthy babies.
Getting out of bed was a struggle, your belly was so heavy and stretched tight. Your back and boobs had been aching for what felt like months now, and by this point you realised you couldn’t focus on anything for an extended period of time. You sent out a tweet to your followers, joking about going on maternity leave as you couldn’t sit and stream for hours on end anymore.
All of your scans had been positive, and you’d been talking about names for the past couple of weeks. After Dallas came early, you tried to get that conversation going earlier on than in your last pregnancy, which was reassuring as you entered the last few weeks as you felt like you could bond with your babies a bit easier, using the names you’d shortlisted.
You were sat in the nursery which had been complete a few months now, in the same rocking chair that you had in Dallas’ nursery in Vancouver, while you called your parents for your regularly scheduled catch up.
“I’d stand up and show off the bump but honestly I’d rather die,” you jibed, and Danneel laughed while Jensen rolled his eyes,
“I remember that feeling,” Danneel sympathised.
“We’ll be down in a couple days anyway,” Jensen reminded you, and you smiled.
“I can’t believe you’ve nearly been my parents for four years,” you mused, knowing they were coming down to celebrate your adoption anniversary.
“I’ve been your dad for nearly five if we’re honest,” Jensen commented.
“I meant officially,” you laughed, “but you’re right. I can’t wait to see you guys, it’s been too long.”
“I kinda thought the twins would be born by the time we got down,” Danneel admitted. “I was hoping I’d get snuggles.”
You matched her wistful smile.
“We’ll be down for a week,” your father reminded both of you. “A lot can happen in a week.”
“That’s true,” you agreed. “When I found out I was pregnant, I was hoping to go full 40 this time, but now we’re over 37 weeks and I’m just about ready to actually burst.”
You sighed, running a hand over your bump.
“Not to sound uncharacteristically optimistic, but I think I’m ready for them to come now.”
“I for one would not complain if I got to have grandpa cuddles on our trip down,” Jensen chimed in. “And I’m sure JJ and our twins would be pumped to meet them.”
“We’ll see,” you smiled. “If they’re as stubborn and contrary as me, they’ll probably stay in for weeks now that I’ve admitted I’m ready.”
They smiled fondly, and you bit your lip as you considered your next words.
“I know it’s late, but-”
“She’s still up,” Danneel told you before you could even finish your thought. “We put her to bed but made the error of telling her we were about to call you.”
“I’ll get her,” Jensen told you, getting to his feet to go and retrieve your sister.
“She asks about you every day, you know?” Danneel told you. “Always asking about Dallas and the babies, too.”
Your heart fluttered at her words.
“It’s been so weird doing it all without you guys around,” you admitted. “Jared and Gen have been great, it’s just so different from last time.”
She smiled sadly.
“Two days, sweetie,” she reminded you. “We’ll all be reunited again. You can show off the cute new nursery in person.”
You nodded, grinning as you heard Jensen and JJ coming down the stairs.
“I can’t wait.”
*****
“Are you sure you’re good to drive?” Gen asked as you grabbed your keys on Friday afternoon.
“I’m good,” you promised, pressing a quick kiss to her cheek as Jared picked up his keys as well. “There’s five of them to pick up, plus their luggage. Two cars makes sense.”
“I don’t think she’ll spend another second sat here when she knows they’re in the city,” Jared reasoned, bending down to help Dallas into her shoes. “Neither of them will.”
“We’re seein’ Grandpa,” Dallas told him proudly, getting to her feet and taking your hand.
“Yeah we are,” you smiled, looking back at an unconvinced Genevieve. “Babe, I’m fine. If my water breaks I’ll already be in the car anyway, easier to get to the hospital.”
Her mouth dropped open in shock and Jared ushered you and your daughter out of the door before she could stop you.
“She’s kidding,” he told his wife, wrapping his arms around her as you and Dallas got into your car. “We’ll be fine. Just picking them up from the airport, we’ll be right back.”
“Make sure she doesn’t do anything stupid,” Gen murmured, pulling him down for a kiss. “No lifting things.”
“She can barely put her clothes on herself, she’s not lifting anything,” he promised, pulling back and stepping outside. “We’ll see you soon.”
*****
You rubbed at the small of your back as you waited at the arrivals gate, Jared with Dallas on his shoulders as you scanned the crowd for your parents and siblings.
“Do you want to go and sit?” Jared asked, looking down at you in concern.
You shook your head, breathing carefully as you stretched your back out.
“I can sit when we get home,” you reminded him. “I’ve missed them, can’t wait another second longer than I need to.”
He huffed a small laugh, and you looked up at him, wrapping an arm around his waist.
“I appreciate you doing this,” you told him, quiet enough that your daughter wouldn’t hear. “After everything with The Winchesters-”
“They’re your parents,” he replied, meeting your gaze. “It hurt but I can’t hold a grudge, not when they’re such a big part of your life, of our daughter’s life.”
You pressed a kiss to his shoulder, grateful that he was able to consider it water under the bridge for the benefit of you and Dallas. It had come as a surprise to both of you when Jensen had made the post earlier that week, and Jared had taken it considerably harder than you had, but knowing how important your relationship with your parents was to you, he’d been able to push it to the side.
“Grandpa!”
Dallas’ shout and light tug on Jared’s hair grabbed both of your attention, and you looked over to see your family making their way through the crowd.
Dallas scrambled to get down and Jared laughed as he helped her, putting her down in front of him but holding her shoulders so she didn’t run off until they got closer.
Jensen broke out into a little jog and Jared let her run to him, both of you watching with fond smiles as he picked your daughter up under her arms and span her around.
“Surprised you’re not running too,” Jared joked, and you looked down at your bump.
“I would be if these guys weren’t in the way,” you grumbled, grinning as JJ came running up to you.
“Don’t pick me up,” she reminded you as she wrapped her arms around you, and you laughed as you held her against you.
“You’re getting too big anyway,” you told her, smiling at Danneel as she finally reached you with the twins and bags in tow.
“I thought you were joking when you said you’re ready to burst,” she told you, letting the twins run to you as she hugged Jared. “Good to see you.”
Jared smiled as he hugged back before crouching to greet the kids as Jensen came over with Dallas on his hip.
“Nonna,” Dallas giggled, reaching for Danneel.
“Hey baby girl,” she smiled, taking her from her husband so he could give you a hug.
You hugged him tight - well, as tight as you could with two babies in the way.
“Let’s get you home, we can catch up there,” he told you, picking up his bags.
Jared grabbed Danneel’s bag and you and Danneel took two kids each as you made your way back out to the cars.
“I’ve missed you,” JJ admitted, squeezing your hand.
You squeezed back before letting go to find your keys in your pocket.
“It’s been too long,” you agreed, unlocking your car and helping Zep into his car seat. “I hope we never have to leave it this long again.”

✨His true fate - Part 1/?✨
Summary: Jensen hasn't been happy for years. But it seems almost impossible for him to escape. After another nasty argument between him and his wife, he decides to visit his ´former´ best friend for his birthday. Back in Austin, an encounter awaits him that will turn his life completely upside down.
Pairing: Jensen x Reader
Warnings: Language, age gap, tough topics
Word Count: 4167
A/N: Alright. I'm only going to write this once. Danneel doesn't come off well in this story. She's pretty much described as the devil himself. She does and says things that are absolutely awful. In this Story she's pretty much the biggest bitch. I don't want to hear any complaints because it's just a story. Fiction. No hate towards anyone. So, that being said, I hope you enjoy reading it.
English isn’t my first language, so please be lenient. 💙✨
Jared parked in front of the airport in Austin, his fingers tapping restlessly on the steering wheel. It had been too long since he had seen Jensen outside of the conventions. This visit was different, just for spending time together, no panels, no crowds. As he waited, Jared couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement mixed with a hint of nervousness. It was the first time Jensen was visiting him after he moved away from Austin, a chance for them to catch up without the chaos of their usual meet-ups.
As Jared watched the stream of passengers disembarking from the plane, his mind drifted back to the rocky path that had led them to this moment. Their friendship had weathered its fair share of storms, strained by distance, conflicting schedules, and the pressures of their respective careers. Yet, despite the challenges, they had somehow found their way back to each other. It had taken time, effort, and countless late-night conversations, but slowly, they had begun to rebuild what they had once thought lost.
This weekend, as they celebrated Jared's birthday together, it felt like a new chapter unfolding. Jensen's decision to fly to Austin, despite his busy filming and convention schedule, spoke volumes about the strength of their renewed bond. As Jared caught sight of Jensen emerging from the crowd, a genuine smile spread across his face, washing away any lingering doubts or tensions. This weekend was about reconnecting, about rediscovering the camaraderie that had always defined their relationship.
Jensen opened the trunk and unceremoniously tossed his suitcase inside before collapsing into the passenger seat with a heavy sigh. He ran a hand through his tousled hair, looking every bit as exhausted and worn-out as Jared had feared.
"Wow, someone looks like they've been through the wringer", Jared teased, a playful grin tugging at the corners of his lips as he started the car.
Jensen shot him a mock glare, his eyes heavy with fatigue. "Thanks, Jared. Always great to get a warm welcome", he quipped, though there was a hint of amusement in his voice despite his worn-out demeanor.
"Just calling it like I see it, man", Jared chuckled, pulling out of the parking spot and heading towards the exit. "But seriously, you look like you could use a week-long vacation on a deserted island".
"Tell me about it", Jensen muttered, sinking back into the seat and closing his eyes for a moment. "Filming has been brutal lately. I swear, I'm starting to feel every single one of my thirty-something years".
Jared couldn't help but chuckle at Jensen's dramatics. "Thirty-something? More like ancient, old man", he teased, earning himself a playful shove from Jensen.
"Hey, watch it, Padalecki. I may be old, but I can still kick your ass", Jensen retorted with a smirk, the weariness momentarily forgotten as the car with little laughter.
As Jared merged onto the highway, the gentle hum of the car filled the silence between them. Glancing over at Jensen, he couldn’t shake the nagging feeling that there was more going on beneath the surface.
“So, it’s just the filming that’s got you looking like you’ve aged a decade overnight?”, Jared ventured, keeping his tone light but his concern evident.
Jensen let out a heavy sigh, his gaze fixed on the passing scenery outside the window. “Yeah, filming’s been intense, but that’s not all of it”, he admitted, his voice tinged with resignation.
Jared knew better than to push too hard, but he couldn’t ignore the sense of unease that settled in the pit of his stomach. “Is everything okay at home?”, he asked tentatively, knowing full well the delicate balance Jensen was trying to maintain.
Jensen’s jaw tightened, a flicker of pain crossing his features before he masked it with a forced smile. “Yeah, everything’s fine”, he replied, his tone betraying the lie.
But Jared wasn’t about to let him off that easily. “Come on, man. You don’t have to pretend with me”, he pressed gently, his concern outweighing any discomfort he felt broaching the topic.
Jensen hesitated for a moment before finally speaking, his voice barely above a whisper. “Things… haven’t been great”, he admitted, his gaze fixed on his hands folded in his lap.
Jared could sense Jensen's internal struggle, the weight of unspoken words hanging heavy in the air. Before he could push him further, however, Jensen seemed to retreat, throwing up his defenses like a shield.
"Hey, forget I said anything, okay?", Jensen mumbled, his voice barely audible over the sound of the car's engine. "Let's just focus on having a good time this weekend. I could really use a break… from everything".
Jared nodded, respecting Jensen's boundaries even as his heart ached for his friend's pain. "Yeah, of course", he replied, his tone gentle yet supportive. "We'll make sure this weekend is all about relaxing and having fun. No drama, no stress".
Jensen managed a small, grateful smile, though it didn't quite reach his eyes. "Thanks. I appreciate it", he said quietly, a hint of vulnerability slipping through his usual facade of strength.
As they continued down the highway, the weight of their unspoken conversations hung heavy in the air, but for now, they both agreed to set aside their worries.
As the miles flew by, a more simple conversation flowed easily between Jared and Jensen, the tension of their earlier exchange dissipating with each passing moment. It didn't even take 30 minutes until Jared pulled into the familiar driveway of his family home.
"Home sweet home", Jared announced with a grin, turning off the engine and casting a sideways glance at Jensen. "Welcome back to Casa Padalecki".
Jensen chuckled, the weariness in his eyes momentarily replaced by a spark of excitement. "Thanks, man. It's good to be here", he replied, the hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
As Jared and Jensen climbed the front porch steps, they were met with the eager faces of Tom and Shep peeking out from behind the screen door. The boys' eyes widened in disbelief at the sight of Jensen standing there, and their excitement was palpable.
"Uncle Jensen!", Tom exclaimed, darting forward to wrap his arms around Jensen in a tight hug, his enthusiasm bubbling over.
Shep followed suit, his smaller frame joining in the embrace as he grinned up at Jensen. "We didn't think you were really coming!", he said, his voice filled with a mix of surprise and joy.
Jensen chuckled warmly, returning their hugs with equal affection. "Well, here I am", he replied, tousling their hair playfully. "I couldn't miss the chance to hang out with you two".
As they stepped inside the house, laughter and chatter filled the air, the boys buzzing with excitement at the prospect of spending time with their favorite ´uncle´. Jared couldn't help but smile at the sight, grateful for the bond that had formed between Jensen and his sons over the years. With Jensen back in their lives, even just for the weekend, he knew that memories would be made and cherished for years to come.
As Tom and Shep dashed off to explore the backyard, their laughter echoing through the house, Jensen turned to Jared with a curious expression.
"So, where's Gen and mini Gen?", Jensen asked, a playful twinkle in his eye as he referred to Jared's wife and daughter.
Jared glanced at the clock on the wall, a knowing smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "They're out shopping", he replied, his voice tinged with amusement. "Looks like it's just us guys for now".
Jensen chuckled, nodding in understanding. "Ah, a little father-son bonding time, huh?", he remarked.
"Yeah, something like that", Jared replied, his gaze drifting toward the backyard where the sounds of his sons' laughter drifted in through the open door.
As the evening sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the backyard, Jared and Jensen found themselves sitting side by side, beers in hand, watching as Tom and Shep played with the chickens.
Jared took a sip of his beer, breaking the comfortable silence that had settled between them. "So, how are the kids?", he asked, his tone casual but genuine.
Jensen's smile faltered slightly at the mention of his own children, a flicker of sadness crossing his features before he quickly masked it with a forced grin. "They're good", he replied, his voice tinged with a hint of uncertainty. "Busy with school and all that".
Jared nodded, though he could sense there was more to the story than Jensen was letting on. He had seen firsthand how Jensen had thrown himself into his work, often using it as a means of escape from the troubles at home.
"Must be tough juggling all that work and family", Jared remarked sympathetically, knowing all too well the pressures of balancing a career with family responsibilities.
"Yeah, it's… still challenging", Jensen admitted, his gaze drifting off into the distance. "But hey, enough about me. How's Gen and the kids? They keeping you on your toes?".
Jared chuckled, grateful for the diversion. "Always", he replied with a fond smile. "But wouldn't have it any other way".
As they sat together in the fading light, the sound of laughter and chatter filling the air, Jared couldn't shake the feeling that there was still so much left unsaid between them.
As the evening wore on and the sky darkened, Gen and Odette returned home, their arrival greeted with hugs and laughter from Jensen. They exchanged pleasantries and caught up on each other's lives, the warmth of their conversation filling the air.
However, as the hour grew late and the kids were ushered off to bed by Gen, a sense of tranquility settled over the house. Now alone in the quiet of the evening, Jared and Jensen found themselves relaxing on the porch once more, the glow of their beers casting long shadows in the dim light.
But their peace was short-lived as Jensen's phone rang, breaking the serene atmosphere with its shrill tone. With a frustrated groan, Jensen glanced at the caller ID, his annoyance evident.
"Danneel?", Jared asked quietly, his brow furrowing with concern as he watched Jensen quickly silence the call.
Jensen nodded, his jaw clenched in frustration. "Yeah", he muttered, his voice heavy with irritation. "Probably just checking in to make sure I'm not having too much fun".
Jared could sense the tension radiating from his friend, the weight of Jensen's strained marriage casting a shadow over their evening.
Jared let out a heavy sigh, the weight of unspoken words pressing heavily on his chest. Finally, unable to contain his thoughts any longer, he spoke up, his voice tinged with a mixture of frustration and concern.
"Jensen, can I ask you something?", Jared began, his gaze fixed on his friend. "Why won't you just finally leave her?".
The question hung in the air, laden with the weight of years of silence and suppressed emotions. Jared knew it was a delicate subject, one that had been tiptoed around for far too long, but he couldn't stand by any longer and watch his friend suffer in silence.
Jensen's expression hardened, a flicker of defiance crossing his features before he quickly masked it with a forced smile. "It's complicated. You know that", he replied evasively, his voice betraying the turmoil raging beneath the surface.
"But is it really?", Jared pressed, his tone gentle yet insistent. "I mean, I get that there are always reasons, but at what point do you say enough is enough?".
Jensen's jaw tightened, his gaze drifting off into the distance as he wrestled with his inner demons. "I wish it were that simple", he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "But you have no idea what she's capable of".
Jared's heart ached at the pain etched into Jensen's features, the deep-rooted fear and resignation that seemed to consume him. But he refused to back down, knowing that sometimes, the hardest conversations were the ones that needed to be had the most.
"I know it's fucking scary", Jared admitted softly, reaching out to place a reassuring hand on Jensen's shoulder. "But you don't have to face it alone, you know. We're here for you, no matter what".
Jensen's grip tightened around his beer bottle, frustration simmering beneath the surface. "You don't get it, Jared", he muttered, his voice tinged with bitterness. "If I try to leave, she'll make sure I never see my kids again. She'll ruin me. In every fucking way possible".
Jared's eyes narrowed, his patience wearing thin. "And what do you think she's doing right now? Keeping you trapped, suffocating you with her control", he retorted, his voice tinged with anger. "She's already ruining you, Jensen. Can't you see that?".
Jensen's jaw clenched, his fists balling at his sides as he struggled to find the words to express the turmoil raging within him. "I can't risk losing my kids, my image, my career", he finally admitted, his voice choked with emotion. "I can't".
Jared's heart ached for his friend, the pain etched into every line of his face. But he refused to let Jensen succumb to the fear and manipulation any longer.
"You're stronger than that, Jensen", Jared said firmly, his voice filled with conviction.
Jared's frustration softened into determination. "Listen to me, Jensen. You need to stop letting her control you", he said firmly, his voice unwavering. "You just need to get yourself a damn good lawyer".
Jensen's gaze flickered with uncertainty, the weight of Jared's words sinking in. "But what if it's not enough?", he whispered, his voice filled with doubt.
"It's a start", Jared replied, his tone resolute. "And you're not alone in this. We'll find you the best lawyer, one who'll fight tooth and nail to make sure she won´t ruin your life more than she already did".
As they sat in the quiet of the backyard, the weight of their conversation hanging heavy in the air, Jensen felt a glimmer of hope stir within him. Maybe, just maybe, there was a way out of the darkness that had consumed him for so long.
But then, with a heavy sigh, Jensen's resolve wavered as he confessed, "I can't take it anymore, Jared. Every time I'm home, I feel like I'm suffocating. I drown myself in conventions just to get away from her. And when I am home, I'm mostly drunk just to be able to deal with her".
Jared's heart sank at the raw honesty in Jensen's words, the pain and despair evident in every syllable. But he refused to let his friend continue down this destructive path.
"We'll figure it out, Jensen," Jared said firmly, his voice filled with conviction.
Jared knew how bad Jensen really was. For years he could do nothing but watch as Danneel destroyed his best friend. Publicly humiliated him, manipulated him and mentally abused him. She gradually destroyed his self-confidence, his friendships and caused him to isolate himself from everyone. Jared wanted nothing more than to finally see his best friend happy again. Truly happy. But with Danneel and her toxic personality by his side, that wouldn't happen. So he hoped to use the time they had together well enough to somehow get through to Jensen.
As Jensen made his way to the guestroom an hour later, the weight of the evening's conversation hung heavy on his shoulders, his mind consumed by a whirlwind of emotions and stress. Each step felt like a burden, the familiar sense of suffocation creeping in as he retreated from the warmth of Jared's home to the solitude of his temporary sanctuary.
Slipping into the guestroom, Jensen closed the door behind him with a heavy sigh, the darkness of the room enveloping him like a shroud. He sank onto the edge of the bed, his head in his hands as he tried to quiet the storm raging within him.
But despite his best efforts, the memories and fears clawed their way to the surface, threatening to overwhelm him with their intensity.
And as he lay there in the silence of the night, the weight of his burdens pressing down upon him, Jensen couldn't help but wonder if there would ever be a way out of the darkness that had consumed him for so long. But for now, all he could do was try to find solace in the quiet of the night, hoping that somehow, someway, he would find the strength to face another day.
The next morning, Jared and Gen bustled around the kitchen, the savory aroma of breakfast filling the air as they worked together with Odette by their side. The sound of laughter and chatter filled the room, a stark contrast to the heaviness that had hung over the house the night before.
As they set the table with plates of pancakes and fresh fruit, Jared glanced at Gen with a playful smirk. "Think Jensen will be able to handle waking up to the smell of your cooking?", he teased, earning a chuckle from his wife.
Gen rolled her eyes, though there was a hint of amusement in her expression. "He better be ready for the Padalecki family breakfast experience", she replied with a grin, her culinary skills on full display.
Just then, Tom bounded into the kitchen, his energy infectious as he eagerly awaited his next task. "Can I go wake up Uncle Jensen now, Dad?", he asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
Jared nodded with a smile, ruffling Tom's hair affectionately. "Go for it, buddy. Just try not to scare him too much", he replied, unable to contain his own amusement at the thought of Jensen's reaction to being roused from his slumber.
With a mischievous grin, Tom dashed off to carry out his mission, leaving Jared and Gen to share a knowing look.
As Tom made his way towards the guestroom, his excitement bubbling over, he couldn't help but feel a mischievous urge creeping in. Quietly, he slipped inside, tiptoeing towards Jensen's bed with a grin plastered on his face.
With a sly glance towards Jensen, still lost in slumber, Tom couldn't resist the temptation. He settled himself down beside Jensen, his heart racing with anticipation. And then, with a mischievous gleam in his eye, he let out a loud fart, breaking the silence of the room with a resounding blast.
Jensen jolted awake with a start, his eyes wide with shock as he stared at Tom in disbelief. "What the…", he sputtered, his voice trailing off as he tried to process what had just happened.
Tom couldn't contain his laughter, doubling over with mirth as he reveled in the chaos he had created. "Gotcha, Uncle Jensen!", he exclaimed between giggles, unable to contain his excitement at the successful prank.
Jensen instantly grimaced, his hand flying to cover his nose as the pungent odor assaulted his senses. "Oh, man, Tom! What did you eat?", he exclaimed, his voice muffled by his hand as he tried to escape the noxious fumes.
Tom doubled over with laughter, barely able to catch his breath between fits of giggles. "Sorry, Uncle Jensen!", he managed to squeak out between laughs.
Jensen waved his hand in front of his face, desperately trying to dispel the stench that hung in the air. "You're absolutely your dad's kid", he grumbled, his tone laced with both amusement and exasperation. "Damn, that fucking stinks!".
Again Jensen waved his hand in front of his face, still trying to rid the room of the lingering smell. "Alright, alright, Tom", he said with a chuckle, trying to mask his amusement. "Why don't you go air out that stinking butt of yours while I get dressed?".
Tom grinned mischievously, his laughter echoing through the room as he bounded out of the guestroom, leaving Jensen to shake his head in amusement.
Dressed and somehow awake, Jensen made his way towards the kitchen, the promise of breakfast and laughter drawing him forward.
Jensen took a seat at the table, a grin playing at the corners of his lips as he recounted Tom's prank to Jared. "You won't believe what your son just did", he chuckled, shaking his head in amusement.
Jared raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. "Oh? What did he do this time?", he asked with a smirk, already bracing himself for another one of Tom's antics.
"He let out the loudest fart I've ever heard right next to my face", Jensen replied, his laughter infectious as he recounted the incident. "I swear, that kid is just like his old man".
Jared couldn't help but laugh at the image of his son terrorizing Jensen with his infamous flatulence. "Well, I guess he takes after me in more ways than one", he quipped, a proud smile spreading across his face.
Shep and Odette's laughter filled the room, their amusement at Tom's antics contagious as they teased their brother relentlessly. Gen couldn't help but shake her head affectionately at their sibling banter.
Turning to Jared, Gen's smile widened as she made a suggestion. "Hey, do you think you and Jensen could handle getting the drinks for tonight's party?", she asked, her tone hopeful as she looked between her husband and his friend.
Jared grinned at the idea, nodding eagerly. "Of course", he replied, excitement lighting up his eyes. "Consider it our mission. We'll make sure we have plenty of drinks to keep the party going all night long".
Jensen nodded in agreement. "You can count on us", he chimed in.
As they made plans for the evening's festivities, the anticipation of the birthday party ahead filled the room with a sense of excitement.
Two hours later, Jensen found himself sitting in the passenger seat of Jared's car, the hum of the engine and the rhythm of the road soothing his frayed nerves. They were on their way to the next liquor store, their mission to stock up for Jared's birthday party well underway.
Jared glanced over at Jensen with a grin, the excitement of the evening ahead evident in his eyes. "Ready to make a dent in the liquor aisle?", he joked, his tone light as he navigated through the traffic.
Jensen chuckled, a sense of camaraderie washing over him as he settled back into his seat. "You bet", he replied. "Just promise me we won't end up with more beer than we can carry".
Jared laughed, shaking his head at his friend's jest. "No promises", he teased, though there was a hint of mischief in his tone.
As Jared disappeared in search of the restroom, Jensen remained leaning against the overflowing shopping cart, his expression a mix of boredom and introspection. With each passing moment, he found himself sinking deeper into his own thoughts. Again the weight of his troubles pressing down on him like a suffocating blanket.
He couldn't shake the feeling of unease that gnawed at him from within, the nagging sense that he was trapped in a life that no longer brought him joy. Despite the excitement of Jared's birthday party looming on the horizon, Jensen couldn't escape the shadows of his own turmoil that threatened to engulf him at every turn.
Lost in his thoughts, Jensen barely noticed the bustle of shoppers around him as they navigated the crowded aisles of the liquor store. His mind was a whirlwind of memories and regrets, a tangled web of emotions that left him feeling adrift in a sea of uncertainty.
Lost in his thoughts, Jensen barely registered the collision until he felt the impact against his back. Startled, he stumbled forward, nearly losing his balance as he turned to see what had caused the disturbance.
"Hey, fucking watch where you're going!", he grumbled irritably, his frustration evident in his tone as he glanced over his shoulder.
But as he turned around, ready to unleash a torrent of curses, Jensen's words died on his lips as he met your gaze.
"Sorry", you apologized quickly, your cheeks flushing with embarrassment as you struggled to regain your composure and the bottles of whiskey in your arms. "I didn't see you there".
Jensen's irritation faded, his annoyance evaporating as he took in your apologetic expression. "It's okay", he replied more softly. "No harm done".

Summary: The reader and Jensen are home from a trip and have just finished up enjoying some one on one time when some unexpected visitors drop by...
Part 1
Pairing: Jensen x reader (w/ Jared & Gen)
Word Count: 1,100ish
Warnings: language, teasing, smut (roleplay with friends, implied dom/sub, spanking, delayed orgasms, aftercare), crack fic
A/N: More crack fic adventures. Enjoy!
______
“Fuck you have a perfect ass,” you said as you climbed off Jensen and he rolled over to his stomach. He hissed when you ran a hand over the red cheeks but you quickly returned with a bottle of lotion. You rubbed it into the skin gently, Jensen humming to himself. “Better?”
“Yeah. Bet you won’t even leave a mark,” he said. You laid down in bed beside him, Jensen smiling before you both heard a noise somewhere else in the dark house. You sat up, Jensen out of bed, freezing when the door creaked open.
“Hey, shh,” said Jared. He and Gen were giggling, both of them stopping when they saw you and Jensen there. “I thought you guys got back tomorrow.”
“We caught an earlier flight,” said Jensen, tugging his boxer briefs on and quickly deciding against that. “What are you guys doing in our house?”
“House sitting,” said Gen but you saw the look on her face.
“Do you two fuck in our house when we’re not here?” you asked.
“I mean we have a key. It’s not like we’re really doing anything. We always wash the sheets afterwards too,” said Jared.
“Oh. Awesome,” said Jensen. He turned around and you heard them both giggle.
“Looks like someone was a bad boy,” said Gen. Jensen spun around and pouted, staring at you. “We could...play. We haven’t since the party a few weeks ago.”
“I don’t think Jensen could handle more spanking no offense,” you said.
“What she said.”
“Oh he doesn’t need one. We could simply instruct?” said Jared.
“I thought you two wanted to have sex,” you said.
“Yeah. Why don’t we tell you two what to do,” said Jensen.
“Alright,” shrugged Gen. “Baby?”
“I’m good,” said Jared.
“Do I have to get out of bed for this?” you asked.
“I’m not gonna make ‘em fuck on the floor, Y/N,” said Jensen.
“You guys are nailing this dom thing,” said Jared with a smirk. Gen giggled and you got up from bed, tossing on Jensen’s shirt. Jared narrowed his eyes and you cocked your head. “I’m waiting.”
“Take-”
“I was referring to Jensen,” he said. “He’s the one that brought it up after all.”
Jensen opened his mouth but Jared just laughed.
“Gen spank him. Ten,” you said. “Clothes off. The longer you wait the more I add.”
Jared grumbled as he took off his clothes, Gen smiling to herself.
“You too,” said Jensen. “You get five of your own for Jared being a little shit.”
She smacked his arm and undressed, Jared turning around and letting Gen go to town on him.
“Go to the guest room. Screw however you want but nobody comes, got it?” said Jensen. A moment later you and Jensen were alone, Jensen wearing a big smirk.
“What do you got in mind?”
“Well, I figured by the time we get off again, they’ll be both be begging for it,” he said.
“You sure they’ll listen?”
“They’ll listen,” he said. “They aren’t as troublesome as us.”
“Definitely not,” you said, smacking his ass. He yelped and rubbed it, frowning at you. “Whoops.”
“Just for that, I’m not going to spank you with my hand,” he said.
“Oh fuck.”
“Come on,” said Jensen thirty minutes later. Your ass was sore and you’d long since discarded his shirt. He dug into your pink cheeks with one hand, the other rubbing his palm flat against your clit roughly while you rode him. “Wanna come in you. Milk my cock, come on sweetheart.”
“Fuck, fuck, fuck!” you shouted, gripping him tight, squeezing his throbbing cock as you came. You pushed yourself through it, fucking down onto him while he kept rubbing and rubbing you straight into a second orgasm.
You whimpered as you stopped and rolled off of him, Jensen kissing you slowly.
“Good girl,” he said. He stroked your cheek and nuzzled you, gently running a finger up and down your back. “Lay on your stomach and I’ll get your ass taken care of.”
“Alright. We better go check on the other two after,” you said. Jensen was gentle in rubbing the lotion into your skin, letting it sink in for a few minutes and cleaning you up before the two of you wandered down the hall.
You pushed open the door to find Jared pushed down on the bed and Gen above him.
“Well what do we have here?” you teased. “Should have figured Gen was the top.”
“Guys,” she said. “Please.”
“Go ahead,” said Jensen. Less than a minute later they were both exhaling deeply, eyes shut and basking in the afterglow of their orgasms. “That was nearly an hour. Good for you two.”
“Here,” you said, setting the lotion down on the nightstand. “It really helps.”
“Thanks,” said Gen.
“Do you guys need anything?” asked Jensen.
“We could get snacks or-” you said before they both giggled.
“We’re okay. It wasn’t that hard. If you wouldn’t mind turning up the heat for us that’d be great,” said Jared. “We’re probably gonna crash here too if that’s cool.”
“Totally. Shout if you need something,” you said.
“Night guys.”
“Morning,” you said as you and Jensen came downstairs to find Jared and Gen making breakfast.
“Sounds like someone had a very good morning,” said Gen.
“Dean Winchester isn’t the only one with an oral fixation,” you said. You smirked as Jensen rolled his eyes, pouring himself a cup of coffee.
“We were wondering if you guys wanted to try playing again tonight?” asked Jared.
“Nothing too extreme and I’m down,” you said.
“We were thinking something softer?” said Gen. “We had fun last night and wanted to return the favor.”
“Sure,” said Jensen. “Sounds like a plan. Maybe we can go out for dinner first.”
“That sounds good,” you said. “I am curious what you guys have in store.”
“Oh, we think you guys will enjoy it. I guarantee it.”

Sam Is Wearing Green Today
Warnings/Genres/Troupes: fluff.
W/C: 450
Characters: Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester.
Pairing: Sam Winchester x Reader (you - no descriptions of gender, body type, or ethnicity).
A/N: I had a dream that I shared with @deanwinchesterswitch , and she encouraged me to write it out, so here it is - purely self-indulgent fluffy Sam appreciation.
Betas: @deanwinchesterswitch
Graphics: dividers @firefly-graphics
Master Lists: Sam Winchester // All The Fandoms
Sam Is Wearing Green Today.
Sam’s wearing a green plaid shirt today. It’s distracting. You're supposed to be listening to Dean and the theory of what creature you're hunting. But it's all white noise because Sam is wearing green today.
If you were more poetic, you could have described how it made his kaleidoscope eyes brighter. You could have likened it to a forest of evergreens, alive and fresh, or Autumn nipping at Summer’s nose, tingeing the edges of green leaves with brown. But you can’t find the perfect description because Sam is wearing green today.
Your nose is stuck in a book, but your eyes are locked on Sam. The white noise fades, and his voice comes into focus while he counters Dean’s theory and offers his own. You also have a theory, a mixture of both being correct. But you can’t voice it because Sam is weaning green today.
Dean’s phone rings, and he steps away from the table to answer it. Sam glances over at you, and though you know you’re staring, you're unable to look away. He offers the softest smile as he stands, probably feeling extremely uncomfortable under your watchful eye. But you can’t stop your ogling because Sam is wearing green today.
You follow his movement as he walks to refill his coffee mug, going as far as turning your head to look over your shoulder to keep your gaze trained on him. The shirt looks soft, and you're momentarily jealous that it gets to caress his skin all day. Does it know how lucky it is? You chuckle to yourself at how ridiculous the thought is. But it makes total sense because Sam is wearing green today.
Fresh cup of joe in hand, he turns back around, his eyes immediately landing on you. “Why are you staring at me?” he asks, self-consciousness dusting his cheeks. It was never your intention to make him feel uncomfortable. But you can’t tell him that you can’t take your eyes off him because he’s wearing green today.
You shrug and give an unconvincing lie, “No reason,” even though it’s clearly causing him concern. You make no attempt to stop your peculiar behaviour because Sam is wearing green today.
Sam’s chuckle morphs into a bashful dimpled smile as he approaches you slowly, never taking his eyes off of yours. “I love you too.” He bends and kisses you, firm but sweet. He lingers against your lips for a long moment before pulling back to focus on you again, “Now I know why you haven’t stolen this shirt.”
He’s right. You left that one because it’s always a treat when Sam is wearing green.
A/N2: if anyone has any good pictures of Sam/Jared in green please share 🥰

Square Filled: in vino veritas (2021) for @spndeanbingo
Author’s Note: any and all comments are appreciated <3
x
Jensen hasn’t even been back for more than a week and he’s already having a barbecue at his cabin in the mountains. He rents the place out every summer and invites everyone he knows to stay with him for the weekend. The place is big enough to house two dozen people and Jensen knows a lot of people. It’s been a few months since Jensen has been home since he’s traveling with his new girlfriend. You haven’t met her yet but you have talked to Jensen about her. He seems to be crazy about her so you’re not going to ruin what they have.
Yes, you have a crush on him. Yes, you love him. Yes, you’d do anything to make him happy. Yes, he is your best friend. No, you won’t do anything about it because he seems to be happy. What kind of friend would you be if you took that away from him?
Once you finish getting ready into a summer flowy dress, you grab the food you cooked and pile into your car. The cabin is located in the mountains up north so it takes you an hour to get there. There are already a bunch of people there but you don’t mind being later than everyone else. You pull into the driveway and see Jared’s car indicating that him and his wife are already here.
You let yourself into the house and enter the kitchen to place your food there when you see a young and beautiful woman. She must be Denise, Jensen’s girlfriend. You recognize her from the photos he’s sent you.
“Oh, hi. Denise?”
She looks you up and down as if she’s judging you.
“Yeah. You must be Y/N.”
“It’s nice to meet you,” you smile.
“You have such a cute dress on. Don’t let the drinks ruin it.”
It’s the way she says this that makes ou suspicious. She seems a bit passive-aggressive like she doesn't like you. Instead of giving you a chance, she’s already decided that she doesn’t like you. You’re not going to let her ruin your night because you came here for one thing and one thing only.
“I can handle myself. Where is Jensen?”
Speaking of, your best friend walks inside the kitchen using the back door with containers of food in his hands. He looks at you and a big smile breaks out on his face.
“Y/N! You came!” He sets down the food and scoops you into his arms. You don’t miss the way Denise is glaring at you two. “I’ve missed you.”
“I’ve missed you, too.”
“Baby, you promised you’d show me around,” Denise says and pulls her boyfriend away from you. “Remember? You said you’d do it when you got done outside.”
“Yeah, you’re right.” He turns to you. “I’ll be right back. Jared and Gen are outside.”
“Okay,” you nod.
Denise practically drags him away, leaving you all alone. You shake off this bad feeling you’re getting and join the others outside. Jared is talking to some guys off to the side while Gen is heping prep the table for the food. Joshua, Jensen’s brother, is using the grill to make his famous chicken on the other side of the backyard.
“Y/N!” Jared says a bit too loudly.
“Whoa, are you okay?” you chuckle and hug him.
“Yeah, I’m great.”
Jared has always been a light weight despite how tall he is. He definitely has the weight to keep the effects of alcohol away but he acts like he’s a hundred pounds when he drinks. It only takes a few drinks to really get him going.
“What number of drink is that?”
“Three?”
“You drink any more, you’ll bring out Doug. Do you really want to do that?”
“Probably not,” he chuckles.
You have fond memories of Jared’s alter ego coming out after he’s had too many to drink. The night usually ends in the cops being called but it’s memories you love to think about.
“So, I met Denise.”
Jared starts laughing at the tone of your voice.
“Yeah, everyone has that same reaction when they first meet her.”
“What is her problem?”
“I don’t know. She’s not the best person to be around but no one says anything because it seems like Jensen is happy. They’ve only been dating for a few months but they seem happy together.”
Jensen and Denise come back from the self-tour and you watch as she clings to his side even though he wants to go over to his friends and converse. He has a smile on his face that doesn’t quite reach his ears. He might be happy but it’s not true happiness.
“You don’t know him like I do.”
You leave Jared’s side to join Jensen’s. He has yet to tell you about his trip and now’s the perfect time to do that. It’s been so long since you’ve seen him, you just want to be around him. However, Denise sees you walking over to them and she tugs on Jensen’s arm to grab his attention. She leans in and whispers something in his ear that causes him to chuckle.
“Sure,” he nods.
They both walk off before you can get to them, and Denise looks back at you to gauge your reaction. You pretend like you weren't walking to them and veer to the right where Gen is. She says something to you but you’re not paying attention. You stare at the couple until they disappear around the corner of the house. Jensen didn’t even see you coming toward him.
You push down your feelings and enjoy the company of everyone else until dinner is served. Jensen took the seat next to you before Denise could pull him away so she is forced to take the other side of him. Everyone digs into the delicious food immediately and the conversation somehow gets on the topic of how stupid Jensen has been in his past.
“Once Jared told me I couldn't do it, I had to prove him wrong. I climbed up to the roof and got ready to jump into the pool.”
“I told him not to do it but he wouldn’t listen,” you chuckle.
“Yeah, so I got a running head start and jumped off into the pool. I made it in but it was shallower than I thought, and I broke my arm on the side of the pool.”
“You were a big cry baby,” you laugh and lean on his arm in laughter. “I held your hand the entire way to the hospital.”
“That you did,” he smiles down at you.
Denise’s jaw ticks in annoyance and jealously. She grabs her alcoholic drink and walks past you as if she is going to get a refil. However, she “trips” and she spills her entire drink all over your new dress. You gasp from how cold it is and stand up in shock.
“Oh, I am so sorry!” Denise apologizes.
“Shit, that’s cold!”
You look down at your dress to see the alcohol already staining your dress. You look at Denise and see the malicious intent in her eyes. She might be faking an apology but you know she couldn’t care less about this. She did this on purpose.
“Here, come with me. Let me clean this up before the stain sets.”
“Do you need me to come with you?” Jensen asks.
“No, I got this,” Denise chuckles.
She takes you into the cabin before you have achance to say anything. As soon as the door is closed, she becomes a whole other person. She drops the nice girl act and shows her true colors.
“I don’t know what your problem is, but stay away from my boyfriend.”
“My problem? What are you talking about?”
You grab some napkins to dab your dress without her help.
“You can play games all you want but he’s mine, and I’ll make your life miserable if you keep doing what you’re doing.”
“I don’t want him,” you lie.
“Please,” she scoffs and rolls her eyes, “I saw the way you were looking at him the entire night. Stay away from him or I’ll do more than pour alcohol down your dress.” She walks back to the door but pauses because she’s not done talking. “I am better than you in every way. You might be the best friend but I’m his girlfriend, and I always get what I want.” She gives you a sweet smile as if she didn’t just threaten you. “It’s nice to meet you though. Sorry about the dress.”
As soon as she leaves the kitchen, tears roll down your cheeks. You can’t go back out there looking like a mess so you dry your cheeks and your dress as much as possible before going back outside. Everyone is mostly done with dinner so they’re standing around instead of sitting. Jensen immediately walks over to you with a look of concern on his face.
“Hey, are you okay? I can pay for the dry cleaning.”
You look at Denise who is watching you with careful eyes. Jensen might genuinely be happy with her so you can’t take that away from him and tell him how rotten his girlfriend is. Plus, would he even believe you? Yes, you’re his best friend but would he believe you over his girlfriend?
“No, it’s okay. It was a misunderstanding,” you sigh.
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah.”
You excuse yourself and walk over to Jared who has been watching you three the entire night. He had two glasses of water at dinner so he’s sobered up some more. He sees the look of defeat on your face and nudges you arm.
“They won’t last.”
“What?”
“I don’t see them lasting another month.”
“Why would I care?”
“Come on,” Jared chuckles. “We all know you’re in love with him.”
“Shut your mouth, Jared,” you snap.
“What, am I wrong?”
You look at Jensen and Denise who are all over each other. She has her arms wrapped around his neck and his hands are low on her hips. You have to hold back your tears.
“It doesn’t matter how I feel. She clearly doesn’t want me around.”
“Give it time.”
Jensen and Denise walk into the cabin to do God only knows what, and you decide it’s best if you leave now. You don’t want to spend the night and have to hear them through the walls.
“As much fun as this whole thing has been, I should go now.”
You give Jared a side hug so you don’t get the alcohol on him.
“Good luck.”
You can’t leave this party without saying goodbye to Jensen. You’ll steal a couple of minutes and leave and that will be that. You don’t even have to give him a hug goodbye . You walk inside the house in search of your best friend. You walk past the kitchen into the living room where you overhear Denise and Jensen talking.
“What’s wrong? You were fine when we showed up.”
“I don’t like that you spend so much time with her. I’m your girlfriend who loves you.”
“She’s my best friend.” Great, they’re talking about you. How can you go in there now? It’ll only be awkward and you’ll give away that you’ve been listening. “We grew up together.”
“You’re with me now. Y/N needs to find someone she loves and leave us alone. I don’t want to be rude but it’s obvious she wants you.”
You can’t see Jensen’s face from where you’re at but you can only imagine what it looks like.
“You’re overreacting.”
“Do you have feelings for her? Is that why you’re being this way?”
You hold your breath and wait for his answer.
“Be this way? What are you talking about?”
“It’s me or her. Pick one. You can’t have both.”
You can’t bear the thought of hearing his answer because there is a chance that he might choose her. You quickly leave the room without hearing his answer and escape to your car. You shouldn’t have come. He has been with Denise for months across the world. He probably has a lot more fun with her than he does with you. He’s found someone to replace you with. You can’t fault him for choosing her. She can give him everything you can’t.
You peel out of the driveway and start the journey back home. Tears are flowing down your cheeks making it harder to see the road in front of you. It’s a particularly windy day so your car is slightly shaking; nothing you can’t control. It doesn’t help you’re driving in the mountains with no light except for that of your headlights. Through your tears, you don’t see the car on the other side of the roading coming straight at you.
You hit him going seventy miles an hour head on, and you’re thrown from the windshield and onto the groound. You left in such a hurry that you forgot to put your seatbelt on. The car you hit is a much bigger car than yours so it doesn’t have nearly as much damage as yours. The car slams on its break before slowly driving off, leaving you on the ground outside.
You gasp in pain and stare at the starry sky above you. Blood runs down your body and pools on the ground. You never took time to admire how pretty the night sky is. Your entire body is in pain but there is a certain peace that comes with being on the brink of death. You close your eyes to get some sleep when you hear someone calling your name off in the distance.
How much time has passed? It seems like minutes but could have been for much longer.
“Y/N!” Jensen gasps and slides on the ground when he gets to you. You open your eyes and see red and blue lights flashing off his face. “I’m right here. You’re going to be okay. Just hang on for me, okay? Please be okay.”
“Sir, you need to move.”
Jensen is pulled back so the paramedics can come in and do their job. You close your eyes because you’re so fucking tired. You feel yourself being lifted off the ground and onto something softer than the ground. You’re wheeled on a gurney into the ambulance with Jensen following closely behind.
“Sir, only family are allowed inside.”
“I’m her husband,” Jensen shouts and pushes past the paramedics.
They allow him to sit inside and be with you until they get to the hospital. Jensen grabs your bloody hand just as you roll your head to the side. You barely squeeze his hand to let him knwo you’re with him and not going toward the light no matter how tempting it might be.
“I’m right here, sweetheart. I’m holding your hand.”
The next time you open your eyes, you’re confronted with blinding white lights. Is this what Heaven is like? Did you die? You blink a few times to correct your vision and see you’re not in Heaven but a hospital room. You groan softly and look to your right where Jensen is. He is holding your hand with his head lowered like he’s praying. When he hears your painful groan, his head snaps up.
“Sweetheart. Hey, I’m right here.”
“Jensen?” you croak.
“Do you need some water?” You nod and he grabs a small cup of water. He helps you drink before setting the cup down. “How are you feeling?”
“What happened?”
“You collided with another car. The bastard left instead of staying but cops found him near where the cabin is. There’s only one road going in and out of town so it wasn’t hard to spot the truck with bumper damage. Your car is totaled though.”
Oh, yeah. The reason why you didn't see the other car is because you had tears flowing out of your eyes the entire time. Why were you crying? Right. Jensen was going to choose Denise over you. You take your hand away from his when you remember this and shift further from him.
“Where is Denise?”
“Gone.” Your eyes snap to his. “I broke up with her.”
“What? Why?”
“She made me choose. Anyone who makes me choose isn’t good enough to be with me.”
“What did she make you choose?” you ask even though you know the answer.
“It was either you or her, and you should know by now I will always choose you.”
“You shouldn’t have had to do that.”
“I’m glad she did.” He grabs your good hand and kisses the back of it. “I was blind to who was by my side my entire life.”
You smile and run your thumb on the back of his hand.
“What does this mean?”
“First, you get better. Then, I’m going to show you just how much I love you.”
“Deal,” you smile shyly.

An Unexpected Friendship pt 7
Master List
Characters: Jensen Ackles x Reader, Reader’s daughter, Jensen’s children
Warnings/Trigger Warnings: Language, mention of death, Mention of panic attacks, some angst, SMUT!
A/N: This is a short story written in collaboration with @cheekygirl2309.
This chapter has Jensen realizing how much he messed up and working on fixing what he broke, with a little help from a sweet little girl. 😀
No disrespect to Jensen or his family. This is a work of fiction and does not depict real life. Written and edited fast-please overlook any errors.
Minors DNI 18+
The next few days in the house were strained. The kids went to school and I stayed to myself for most of the day. Terri and the other nurse, Angela would alternate coming in and taking care of Jensen. His physical therapy was starting today, so Angela was waiting on the physical therapist downstairs with me.
“Hey, Y/N, how are you doing? This can’t be easy on you.” I looked up from the book I was reading, “I’m okay. My main focus is Jensen getting better. Then we can move on. His kids need him back to his old self.” “You and your little girl do too.” She offered a smile. I just nodded.
The pain in my heart had only grown since that day. Jensen and I hadn’t spoken since. I would wait until Terri or Angela was in the room with him before I’d go in and grab what I needed. I couldn’t look at him. Just hearing his voice broke me.
Jared and Gen had come by to check on us and offer advice. They knew the gap between Jensen and I was only getting wider. Jared being the mediator he is, tried his best to help repair Jensen and I.
“Jared, I appreciate everything you’re trying to do. I really do, but Jensen made it clear he blames me for the accident, and he doesn’t want me here. We haven’t slept in the same room since that day. I just have to figure out what to do. Jazzy loves him so much, and I love the kids. I can’t break her heart or theirs’, but I can’t continue to live with someone who is angry with me.”
Jared pulled me into a big hug, “I’m so sorry, Y/N. You know you and Jazzy are welcome to stay with us if you need to. We know how you feel about going back home.” “I appreciate it, Jared, but I can’t drive a wedge between you and your brother. I love you guys too much to do that.”
As Jared and I talked, Gen went upstairs to check on Jensen. Angela was helping him sit back down when she walked in.
“Hey Gen. It’s good to see you. Is Jared here too?” Jensen smiled. “Yes he is, but don’t use that smile on me Jensen Ross!” Jensen’s eyes went wide, “Whoa what did I do?” Angela excused herself to give Gen and Jensen some space. “You broke her fucking heart is what you did, Jensen. She’s lonely and so heart broken. She truly believes you blame her for the accident.”
“Gen, I never said that to her. I don’t blame her.” “You might not have said it, but your actions speak louder than any words. Have you even tried to talk to her?” Jensen just shook his head no.
“Dammit Jensen, you’re going to lose her and that beautiful little girl.” Jensen’s breath hitched. He knew Gen was telling the truth, but he wasn’t sure how to fix this or if you’d want to fix it.
The conversation with Gen and Jared was two days ago. Jensen had tried to reach out to you through text since you wouldn’t come near the room. He didn’t want to get the kids involved, so he figured he’d text you.
Jensen: Hey sweetheart. Can we talk?
Me: I’m not sure what there is to talk about.
Jensen: Us? How much of an asshole I am. How you have every right to walk away from me, and hate me.
Me: I don’t hate you, Jensen.
Jensen: Well, that’s a start. Can you come to our bedroom so we can talk?
Me: I don’t think that’s a good idea. I’m really tired. Maybe we can talk tomorrow.
Jensen: Oh, okay. I’d like that. I love you, Y/N.
Me: Good night, Jensen.
I put my phone down and sobbed. I wanted to run into the room and hold him. Kiss his lips and tell him how much I loved him. I knew he was hurting, but so was I. I was scared of never holding him again, never feeling his love again.
I sobbed into my pillow. Sleeping down the hall from him was so hard. I craved his touch, I wanted to feel safe enough to sleep, but I couldn’t. Then I heard a soft knock on my door. I wiped my face, sat up and said “come in.” It was Jazzy.
“Hey baby girl, are you okay?” I asked, trying to hide the tears. “I’m sad mommy.” I pulled her into my lap, “Why are you sad baby?” “Because you’re sad, and Daddy Jensen got hurt.” “Oh sweetie, I’m okay, and Jensen will be okay too. He’s doing great with his healing and he’s starting to walk around more.” “But mommy, you’re not in there with him. You’re in here and you’re so sad. Sad like when daddy died.”
My breath caught in my throat. I didn’t know she knew I was so sad, I’d only cry at night after I was sure they were asleep. “Oh baby, I’ll be okay. I’m just sad Jensen got hurt and is upset about it. Everything is going to be okay baby.” I kissed her head and smiled, trying to fight the pain away. I carried her back to her bed, gave her Braveheart and kissed her head again.
I went back to the guest room and crawled in the bed. Covering my head with the blanket and burying my face deep in the pillow, I let out a scream and then I just broke.
Jensen laid in bed, flipping through the photo album I had made for him. He missed me so much, my lips, my hands, my body. He knew he fucked up and it was going to take more than a text to fix this.
As he put the album away, he heard a soft knock on his door. His heart leaped in his chest. “Come in.” He said softly, but loud enough to be heard. The door slowly opened. Thinking he was about to see me, he was a little taken back when he saw Jazzy.
“Hey baby girl, are you okay? Mommy isn't here.” She climbed on the bed beside Jensen and snuggled next to him, “I know daddy, she’s in the other room, crying like when my other daddy died. She’s really sad. I hear her cry every night. Are you going to die too?”
Jensen’s heart broke, hearing that you cried every night, “No baby girl I’m not. I’m okay. Mommy is just sad because I’m hurt and she can’t help me. I promise you I’ll make Mommy’s heart better.” “Okay daddy, I love you. I’m going back to bed now.” “I love you too sweetheart, and thank you for letting me know about mommy.” She nodded and left the room.
Jensen was determined to get to me. He grabbed his crutches and headed towards the guest room. He lightly knocked on the door waiting for me to answer. I couldn’t hear the door through the blanket, pillow and the sobs.
He opened the door and saw me, head covered and buried in the pillow, he could hear my sobs. Tears fell from his eyes. It broke him to see me so broken, knowing he caused it. He walked to the side of the bed and sat down, lightly touching my back.
I shot up and looked at him. “Jensen, what are you doing here?” I wiped my face, trying to hide the fact that I had been crying. He lifted my chin with his hand, “Baby, I’m so sorry. I don’t blame you for anything. I fucked up. I took it out on one of the most important people to me, and now I’ve lost you.”
I looked at Jensen, I could see the regret and sadness in his eyes. “Jensen, you haven’t lost me, but you have to talk to me. We won’t make it if you don’t open up to me and talk to me. Why did you take it out on me? If you don’t blame me, then what was it?”
Jensen took a deep breath, “The day I got hurt I had been so distracted. All I wanted to do was be home with you and the kids. When Dee and I first started dating, we acted in the same town and didn’t have children, so being apart wasn’t an issue. After JJ was born it started to get harder, but we made it work. When you and Jazzy came into our lives, I never wanted to leave your side. Especially after everything you two had been through.”
“After I talked to you and you told me about Jazzy I got in my head. Thinking about how lonely she must be feeling and how she’d already lost one daddy and I was sure she was feeling like I left her too. I hated myself for making her feel that way.” I touched Jensen’s arm, “Jensen, she’s okay. I promise.”
“What about her mommy?” His green eyes, full of regret, looked deeply into mine. “I’m getting there.” My breath hitched, it was hard to look him in his eyes. I swallowed hard, being this close to him I could feel his body heat. My heart rate picked up. Then his hand brushed against my cheek. I leaned into his touch. It had been too long since I felt him.
Instinctively I leaned closer to him. I could feel his hot breath mixing with mine. “Jensen..” “Y/N..” My lips crashed against his in a kiss that was full of need, regret and love. Oh so much love. His hands tangled into my hair as we deepened the kiss. The pain, sorrow and anger from the past few days was slowly starting to melt away.
When we finally pulled away from each other, our chests were rising and falling quickly taking in air. “I am so sorry, sweetheart. I never should have taken anything out on you. You and the kids are everything to me. I’d be lost without you five. Please baby, don’t leave me, don’t leave us.”
“Jensen, you can’t do that to me. You can’t push me away when things get bad. You have to talk to me, if we’re going to make it, we have to deal with things together.”
“I promise baby, I will never push you away again. I love you sweetheart, so much. I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to you if you’ll still have me.”
I placed my hand on his chest, “Jensen, I love you so much. These past few days have been horrible without you. I hated this distance between us.” He placed his hand on mine, “Then let’s go to our room and go to bed baby.”
I nodded as I helped Jensen stand and we walked back to our room. Once in the room, Jensen closed the door and I helped him back to the bed. He set his crutches to the side, and I slid in the bed.
Jensen offered me his arm, and I scooted towards him, laying my head on his chest. He kissed the top of my head. “God I love you so much. I can’t believe I almost lost you. I’m so fucking foolish.”
“Jensen, what really happened on set? I know you well enough to know what we talked about before didn’t distract you that much.” Jensen sighed, “Well the scene I was shooting involved me saving a little girl about Jazzy’s age. Homelander was using her as bait to get to her parents. He killed her father and the little girl was crying out for her daddy. I had to rescue her, and when I started to grab her all I could think about was Jazzy and how I wanted to protect her and you from Robert. I started to have a panic attack and felt dizzy, lost my balance and fell. I was so embarrassed.”
“Jensen, having a panic attack isn’t something to be embarrassed about. I’m sorry that scene triggered you and caused you so much pain. We are safe, Jensen. Safe because we have you. I hope you know that little girl in the other room sees you as her daddy. She feels safe with you, with your children. I see you as my partner, my love, my forever, my home. I love you so much Jensen, nothing will ever change that. You saved us not only from Robert, but from our empty life.”
Tears pricked Jensen’s eyes, and he leaned in and placed a soft kiss on my lips. “I see you as my love, my forever, my home too. I see Jazzy as my daughter, you both fit perfectly here with us. I know the road that led us together was paved with heartache and loss, but I am so glad I have both of you.”
I let out a deep sigh. “Baby, what’s wrong?” Jensen asked softly as he held me tight. “I was so scared seeing you in that hospital. It brought back all those buried feelings from when I lost Joshua. I was so scared I was going to lose you too. Then I’d have to go home and tell our babies you weren’t coming home. I didn’t know how I was going to survive that.”
Jensen kissed me and pulled me tightly. “I’m okay, baby. I promise you won’t have to have that conversation with them.”
I smiled and relaxed against him. “Oh, Y/N, can we get rid of the nurses now? They are great, but do I really need a nurse when I have you?” “Maybe. You don’t like it when Terri or Angela give you a bath?” I giggled. “You know what, no.” He laughed. “The only woman I want to see all of this is you, my love.”
“Okay, I’ll call the agency tomorrow. Besides with you doing physical therapy you should be back moving around by yourself soon. I think we can tell them goodbye if you’re sure.”
“Oh yes, I’m positive.” He kissed me again. “Hey sweetheart, do you think tomorrow you can help me take a shower?” He wiggled his eyebrows. “I’d love to, now let’s go to sleep.”
“Good night sweetheart, I love you.” “Good night, Jens. I love you too.” We kissed again and then I fell into a peaceful sleep, wrapped in his arms.
The next morning when I woke up I woke up with Jensen’s strong arms still wrapped around me. I snuggled closer to him and nudged him awake. “Jens, I need to get up and get the kids ready for school.” “Just five more minutes, please.” He said in a gruff voice, pulling me closer to him.
About an hour later I was heading out the door with the kids to get them to school. Jensen was up and doing his physical therapy. He had a doctor’s appointment later in the afternoon, so he wanted to shower and be ready.
When I got back home his physical therapist was getting ready to leave. I stopped him to check on Jensen’s progress. He told me Jensen was doing really well and he thought Jensen would be released back to work in another week or two. He just wouldn’t be able to do any stunts for another few months.
Walking into our shared room I saw Jensen sitting on the bed without his shirt on. I bit my lip. God he was a gorgeous man, even covered in sweat from his workout. “You ready for your shower, baby?’
“More than ready.” He smiled. I put the plastic over his cast and started the water for him. He had a towel wrapped around his hips that left nothing to the imagination. My thighs clenched together.
Seeing Jensen practically naked had my body reacting in ways that even made me blush.
Jensen smirked, “Like what you see, darlin’?”
I bit my lip, “God yes.” I let out a breath. Jensen pulled me closer and kissed me deeply. Biting my lower lip as he pulled back.
I set up the shower seat for him. I knew it was easier for him to navigate the shower sitting down. I helped him in and handed him the showerhead. His bottom lip poked out in a pout. I chuckled, “What’s wrong?” “I thought you were going to help me.” “Jens, in order for me to help you I have to get in the shower, and I have my clothes on.” Jensen smirked, “So take them off.”
I could see his length growing and my desire building. I slowly started to remove my clothes. My heart beating wildly in my chest.
With my clothes off I climbed in the shower with Jensen. His eyes scanned my body and I blushed. “God you’re gorgeous, baby. Come ‘ere.” He pulled me close to him and I stood between his legs. His length was rock hard as it pressed against my thigh.
Jensen pulled my lips to his and kissed me. His hand snaked up my thighs and fingers went in between my folds. He smirked against my lips feeling how wet I was. I gasped as his fingers slid inside me, setting a rhythmic pace as he hooked his fingers up.
My hips are moving in tandem with him. My hands rested on his shoulders as I began to give into the pleasure that was moving through my body. It had been so long since he touched me and I was embarrassed I was already close.
I bit my lip to stifle the moan, “Jens, oh fuck, I’m close.” His fingers hooked up and he started rubbing my clit, “Let go for me baby.” His lips attached to my nipples, and he sucked hard. I screamed in pleasure. “Oh fuck, Jensen! I’m cumming.” My head fell backwards as his hands continued to work their magic.
My legs began to shake and I wasn’t sure how much more I could take. “Jensen, I need you.” I breathed out. Jensen pumped his length a few times and I straddled him, taking every inch inside. I placed my hands on his shoulders to help steady myself. As Jensen adjusted and pushed further inside we both moaned.
“God, you feel so good baby.” Jensen’s head laid in the crook of my neck. I began to move my hips and grind down on him. “Yes, baby! Keep doing that.” He kissed my lips in a deep, passionate kiss.
I felt I needed more leverage so I got up, pulling a groan from him, then I sat with my back against his chest. I took his length in hand and guided him in. My legs placed firmly on the ground in between his. I used his thighs to steady my hands as I continued to bounce up and down. Each bounce pulled Jensen closer to his release.
“Fuck! That feels so good, Y/N. Don’t stop, oh fuck! I’m gonna cum.” Jensen grabbed my hips and with a grunt I felt his load shooting inside me. His body trembling under mine as he filled me up.
When he was done I stood up, cleaned myself and him up, and turned off the water. Jensen stood with my help, wrapped his arms around me and kissed me deeply. “That was amazing, baby. It’s been far too long.” I kissed his lips, “Yes it was, and yes it has been.”
“Best shower sex I’ve ever had.” Jensen chuckled. “I’m glad, it definitely was for me too.”
After we got dressed, Jensen pulled me in for a kiss. “I love you, Y/N. Thank you for not giving up on me, on us.” I lightly touched his chest, “Jensen, I will always fight for you, for us. I love you too.”
We left our shared room together, heading downstairs to leave for Jensen’s appointment. No matter what the doctor said today, I know we both will tackle it together.

“Come on, man!” Jared encouraged. “It’s been a year since your divorce. You gotta get back out there.”
“I’m not ready to date, Jar. I told you that. My focus is on my kids right now,” Jensen huffed, having lost count of how many times Jared had tried to get him to start dating.
“Hey, I didn’t say anything about dating,” Jared chuckled. “I’m talking about going out to a bar, having a few drinks, maybe taking a girl home for some fun. We could go out tomorrow? I’ll be your wingman, just like old times.”
“And where am I supposed to find a babysitter with such short notice, huh? Gen’s away, so it’s not like we can ask her,” Jensen retorted.
“I’ll ask Y/N,” Jared shrugged. “Gen and I trust her completely. She’s a med student and has been watching our kids for a couple of years now.”
“I don’t know, man,” Jensen groaned.
“She’s not a complete stranger to your kids either, you know. Y/N’s watched them before, too,” Jared continued, not taking notice of his friend’s reluctance. “Come on, even if it doesn’t end in a good time between the sheets with a hot girl—which I am all for, FYI, because, dude, how long has it been?—we can at least go out, have a few beers, watch a football game. What d’ya say?”
“It has been a long time since that. And even longer since I went to a bar to watch a game,” Jensen agreed. “And the Cowboys are playing. Yeah, alright, let’s do it.”
“Yeah?” Jared grinned.
“Yeah. Call Y/N and see if she’s free and doesn’t mind a couple of extra kids for the night.”
While driving to Jared’s, Jensen couldn’t help but feel excited for their night ahead. It had been so long since he’d taken any time to himself. He’d been so focused on his kids and work since the divorce and had fooled himself into thinking he was happy. He deserved to have a little fun. He still had a lot of life to live and a lot of love to give, and although he wasn’t looking to date quite yet, if someone caught his eye tonight, maybe he’d get lucky.
Jensen pulled up in the driveway, got himself and the kids out of the car, and went up to the house. With their families so close, the kids opened the Padalecki’s front door and ran straight into the house.
Chuckling, Jensen walked in after them and closed the door behind him. As he made his way down the hallway, a laugh as sweet as honey reached his ears, and he found himself straightening his posture and puffing his chest slightly.
“Hey, man,” Jared said as he walked into the kitchen, where a woman with Y/H/C hair had her back to him. “This is Y/N,” his friend continued, and when she turned around and smiled at him, Jensen’s heart skipped a beat, and everything else Jared said was lost in this stunning woman’s haze.
Y/N was hot and way out of his league, and not just because he was old enough to be her father. She was gorgeous with her big doe eyes, beautiful smile, curves in all the right places—
“Jay? You with me, man?” Jared’s voice pulls him away from his stupor and back to the two people in the room: Jared, with a concerned frown on his brow and Y/N, smirking softly at him and gently chewing on her bottom lip.
“Uh, yeah, sorry. Just trying to remember if I locked the door when I left,” Jensen lied.
“Okay,” Jared said, not sounding entirely convinced but seemingly letting it go. “Ready to go?”
“Sure. Thanks for this, Y/N. I appreciate you taking on another two kids for the night,” Jensen said, finally getting something out to the girl.
“It’s my pleasure,” Y/N smiled softly, and he swore he saw a little bit of flirtatiousness in her eyes.
“Thanks, man. I think this is just what I needed,” Jensen said as he and Jared got into the car to drive home. “It’s been so long since we just grabbed a beer and some wings.”
“It has,” Jared agreed. “It was nice to have my buddy back, but I gotta ask, no interest in any of the women in there? At least five had their eyes on you, man, and some of them were gorgeous.”
“I don’t think I’m ready for that, but when I am, you’ll be the first to know.” It wasn’t entirely true. If Y/N were older, he’d definitely try and hit that, but he was far too old for her, and there was no chance she’d want to have sex with an old man.
They settled into a quiet ride back to Jared’s house, filled with light conversation on their plans for a day at the lake with the kids tomorrow.
Pulling into Jared’s drive for the second time that day, both men exited the vehicle and headed into the house and through to the living room.
Jensen stopped in the doorway, noticing that Y/N was watching a movie, her hair pulled back in a messy knot on top of her head, teasing him with her bare, unblemished neck that he wanted to cover in his marks.
He needed to get a grip of himself. And he definitely needed to dig out his favourite porn videos and carve out a little time to take care of himself because this was ridiculous. Y/N was hot; there was no doubting that, but his fascination with her had to be because of his lack of sexual release.
“Hey,” Y/N said when she saw them. “The kids are fine. They’re all asleep in the tent we put up in the playroom.”
“Great, thanks, Y/N. They didn’t give you any trouble?” Jared checked.
“None. They were perfect, as always,” Y/N smiled as she put on her jacket, threw her backpack over her shoulder, and tucked the cash Jared had given her for babysitting into her pocket.
“Thanks again. I appreciate you coming out at short notice and giving up your weekend,” Jared smiled at the young woman.
“They’re good kids, so it’s no problem. Plus, I managed to get some studying done without my roommates being too loud,” she giggled.
“I appreciate it all the same,” Jared nodded. “Hey, man,” he added, turning his attention to Jensen. “Why don’t you leave the kids here for the night? They’re sleeping comfortably, and you’ll be over for breakfast anyway, right?”
“You sure?” Jensen checked.
“Yeah,” Jared confirmed. “No point in waking and upsetting them when they’ll be coming back here anyway.”
“Alright, thanks, Jared,” Jensen said as he slapped his friend on the back, his mind already drifting to those porn videos. “Y/N, do you need a ride home? I didn’t see a car out there, and it’s the least I can do.”
“Sure. Thank you, Jensen,” Y/N replied, a shy smirk pulling at lips.
“How was your night?” Y/N asked as they climbed into his car.
“Good. It’s been a while since I just went for a beer with a friend,” Jensen replied.
“So it was just a drink with a friend? No ladies on your radar? Jared made it sound like you were out on the prowl, and he needed to be your wingman!” Y/N grinned at him.
“Uh, there were a few pretty girls, sure, but I’m not looking for that right now.”
“That’s a shame. I would’ve done anything to get a handsome guy like you to go home with me,” Y/N grinned wider, giggling when his head snapped towards her with his eyebrows practically hitting his hairline.
“Sweetheart, I’m old enough to be your dad!” Jensen spluttered.
“I don’t mind older men. In fact, I prefer them… Daddy,” Y/N looked at him and batted her lashes.
“Fuck, Y/N,” Jensen gasped. He couldn’t believe she wanted him. “We can’t.” It was a weak attempt, but he needed to at least look like he was trying to turn down his best friend’s hot babysitter.
“But why, Daddy? Don’t you want me? Was I a bad girl?” she pouted and slid her hand into his lap, palming his hard cock through his denims.
“Shit! We’re really doing this?” Jensen groaned when she squeezed his erection, and she nodded her head.
“If you want to,” Y/N said, dropping her act. “If not, you can drive me home, and we’ll pretend this never happened. But if you want me, I’m yours.”
Jensen was speechless. An incredibly attractive twenty-year-old woman was in his car, calling him Daddy, making his dick harder than it had ever been, and offering herself to him on a platter. He must’ve died and gone to heaven.
“I want you, Y/N. Fuck, I’d be crazy not to. You’re fucking perfect,” Jensen said, looking into her eyes and making sure she heard him. He chuckled when her face lit up at his praise, noting that not only did this girl have a daddy kink, which he’d happily indulge her with, but a praise kink, too.
“Then let’s go home, Daddy.”
“That’s my good girl,” Jensen praised, watching Y/N undo his belt and pants and pull his stiff cock from his boxers. “Open up, sweetheart, let Daddy in.”
Y/N’s mouth fell open, and he groaned at the sight. “That’s it, baby girl,” he praised again, pushing himself between her plump lips.
Jensen moaned deep and long as she timidly closed her lips around him and sucked, gently rubbing her tongue over his leaking slit.
“Fuck, sweetheart, you’re so good at that. You love sucking daddy’s cock, huh?” Jensen groaned when she nodded. “Yeah, I know you do, baby girl. Come on, I know you can take more than that.”
Y/N moaned around him, taking more of his cock down her throat, gagging on his length.
“Fuck, yeah, baby girl. Just like that. So good for your daddy, huh? Are you Daddy’s good little girl?” Jensen grunted as he pushed a little deeper.
“Yes, Daddy,” she gasped as he pulled himself from her throat and grabbed her chin, squeezing gently and running his fingers over her spit-slick lips.
“Do you need Daddy to help you undress, or are you a big girl that can do it herself?”
“I can do it, Daddy,” Y/N said as she quickly stripped out of her clothes.
Jensen groaned as his hands skimmed over her perfect, perky breasts and down her taut stomach. “You’re so perfect, baby girl. Daddy loves this beautiful body,” Jensen rasped. “Get up on the bed, sweetheart, and spread those pretty little legs. Let Daddy get a good look at you.”
Y/N climbed on his bed and crawled towards the headboard. Laying down, she spread her legs wide and smirked at Jensen’s deep groan.
“Good girl,” he praised as he crawled up the bed, caressed his hands over her thighs, pushed them apart and lowered his head to her hot, wet centre. “Fucking delicious,” he groaned, licking from the bottom of her slit to the top.
Pushing through her folds, he moaned when her slick pooled on his tongue, and he quickly lapped it up, licking and sucking and thrusting his wet muscle into her tight, dripping hole.
He moved to her clit, licking and sucking on the tiny bud while his fingers toyed with her entrance, circling it gently before slipping one inside.
“So fucking tight, baby girl,” Jensen grunted against her clit. “Gonna need to loosen you up before you can take Daddy’s big cock in your tight little pussy.” He added another finger and curled them upwards, rubbing against her sweet spot over and over.
“Daddy!” Y/N gasped, grinding her hips down on his fingers desperately.
“What is it, baby?” Jensen asked, looking up between her legs and seeing her desperate little pout. “Is Daddy making you feel good?”
“Yes! More, Daddy, please!” she begged.
“Oh, you sound so pretty when you beg, baby girl, and you know Daddy can’t resist when you beg.” He pulled his fingers from her and sucked her juices from them with a hum before crawling up her body and caging her beneath him.
“Please!” she mumbled again, and Jensen couldn’t hold back any longer.
“Alright, since my little princess begged so prettily, she can have Daddy’s cock in her sweet, tight, perfect little pussy,” Jensen growled and pushed his hips forward.
Y/N’s brow furrowed in pleasure with every inch he pushed inside her. When his hips met hers, and he couldn’t go any further, he groaned deeply at the feel of her tight cunt, stretching and fluttering to accommodate his intrusion.
“Fuck!” Jensen roared. “You feel so good, baby girl. So fucking tight and perfect for Daddy, fuck!” He pulled back his hips and slammed forward again, placing his hand on her stomach and pushing down gently, groaning lowly as he felt himself move inside her.
Y/N’s eyes rolled back, and her hips moved with his. “Fuck, Daddy! You’re so big. Feel so good, so full,” she moaned.
“Yeah? That’s because this little pussy was made just for me, sweetheart.” He’d never felt a pussy so good, and the daddy roleplaying they were doing made everything ten times hotter. “Who owns this sweet little pussy, baby girl?”
“You do, Daddy,” Y/N whined.
“That’s right, Daddy owns it. It’s mine,” he grunted with every jerk of his hips, and when Y/N’s orgasm hit, Jensen stalled his movements, holding himself inside her as her tight walls squeezed and pulsed around his cock.
“Fuck, baby girl! You feel so fucking good. I’m gonna come, sweetheart. You want Daddy’s come, huh?” Jensen chuckled as Y/N nodded desperately.
“Yeah? Where do you want Daddy to come?” he gasped, pulling his hips back and pounding roughly into her still-quivering heat.
“Inside me, Daddy, please! I need it!” Y/N whined. Jensen groaned loudly, pushing himself as far in as he could, and came hard, resting against her cervix.
“Fuck, Y/N,” he gasped when he finally regained his senses and pulled his spent and softening cock from her satiated hole. “That was hot, sweetheart, and something I’d be up for more of with you.”
“It was,” she agreed with a giggle. “Unexpected, but hot, and something I definitely want to do with you again.”

You'll Accompany Me- Chp 17
Jensen x reader
Word Count-2530
Warnings- A tiny bit of angst, FLUFF, so much fluff
The next few weeks after Y/N had forgiven Jensen, and she chose to take him back had been a whirlwind. She was now approaching being seven months pregnant, and they had been working to get things prepared for their new arrival. Her still being on light bedrest made it a little annoying to get the nursery ready because Jensen was constantly nagging her to sit down and rest, but they had managed to get the room almost finished despite it. Also, Jared and Gen helping with the task made it a little easier. She was sitting in the rocking chair Jensen had bought for her, admiring their work, when he walked in.
“Here, babe. Drink this,” he smiled, reaching out to her with a bottle of water.
“Thanks, Jay,” she replied with a sigh.
“What’s wrong?” he was by her side instantly, still hovering over her anytime she made the slightest noise that he thought was discomfort or a problem.
“I’m fine, Jay,” she laughed, shaking her head.
“Then what was that sigh about?”
“Just thinking,” she murmured, looking around the room.
“Penny for your thoughts,” he chuckled, sitting on the floor by her feet, picking up one in his hands, and started to gently massage it.
“Just…,” she began, looking down at him, wondering if she should voice her thoughts, “I’m a little worried.”
“About what, honey? You can talk to me about anything, you know?”
“I know. I’m just…I’m worried. We’ve only got three months to go, and I’m starting to wonder. Will I be a good mom, or will I royally fuck this up,” she whispered, saying her worries out loud, making her begin to get emotional.
“Baby,” he cooed, reaching up to take her hand, “Is that what you’re worried about?”
When she didn’t reply, he squeezed her hand softly, making her turn to look at him, and he could see the tears beginning to well in her eyes as she nodded her head. He couldn’t help but smile, not at her insecurities, but at the fact that she was worrying over nothing. He knew she would be a wonderful mother to their child, no doubt in his mind. He reached out with his hand that wasn’t holding hers to place it softly on her swollen belly, rubbing his thumb in soft circles as he began to speak.
“Y/N, I can’t imagine what you’re going through. I know that fathers have their own fears and insecurities when it comes to having a baby, but I’ll never act like I understand what the mother goes through. But I will tell you this. You are going to be the best mother to our little one. I have zero doubt about that, and I know he or she is going to love you so damn much, just like I do. So, please believe me when I tell you that being a good mom is something you absolutely have nothing to worry about, okay?” he said softly, pulling her hand to his lips and kissing it gently.
“You really think so?” she questioned, the tears in her eyes slipping down her cheeks.
“I don’t think so. I know so, honey. So stop worrying that pretty little head of yours about that, okay? Other things, sure, but stop worrying about that.”
“Okay, Jay,” she smiled, his words encouraging her and warming her heart.
“Good. Now, let’s get you downstairs and get you something to eat,” he chuckled, standing to his feet and pulling her to hers.
“Sounds good to me. I’m starving,” she laughed as her stomach growled as she finished her sentence.
“Sounds like it,” he snickered, pulling her to him, wrapping his arms around her.
“I love you,” she stated with a happy sigh, looking up into his eyes.
“I love you, too, Y/N. So fucking much,” he replied, cupping her cheek in his hand, leaning in to kiss her slowly.
They stood in the nursery kissing each other for what seemed like forever before her stomach rumbled again, making them both laugh. He pecked her lips one more time before he entwined his hand in hers, leading her out of the room and downstairs to cook for the love of his life. A bright smile plastered on his face the whole time, thinking about what he had and glad that he was able to repair what he had once broken.
Y/N and Gen sat in lounge chairs in Jensen’s backyard, talking and watching Jared and Jensen by the grill. It had been a beautiful morning, and they had decided to invite their friends over for a barbecue. Y/N wanted to spend as much time with Jensen and his kids and their friends as she could before their baby arrived, and they would be busy being new parents. She was excited for the baby to come and start her little family, but she wasn’t naive and knew their time would all be dedicated to caring for a newborn for a while after. So, they sat there, enjoying the nice day outside with their friends, waiting for the kids to arrive.
“How are you feeling?” Gen asked her, sipping on a glass of wine.
“Pregnant,” she laughed, earning an eye roll from her friend, “Seriously, I’m feeling okay. I’m getting tired and winded easier nowadays, but I guess that’s to be expected.”
“Oh, it is. You are creating a whole new life, you know,” she chuckled, Y/N joining in.
“Trust me, I know. I feel it every day. But, I know it will be so worth it,” she smiled, laying her hand on her belly, rubbing in slow circles.
“It really is. I’m so excited for you to experience motherhood. It’s the hardest but most rewarding job ever.”
Y/N opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by a frenzy of screaming children running into the backyard. She couldn’t stop the laugh that escaped her as the three kids went their separate ways. Of course, JJ went straight for Jensen, being the daddy’s girl she was. Arrow ran for the small playground Jay had bought them, and Zep ran for the pool. Jensen had to intercept and grab him before he dove in fully clothed.
Y/N turned to look back at the gate leading to the yard and saw Danneel standing there. She wasn’t sure why, but Danneel acted differently around her once she found out she was pregnant, which bothered Y/N. Even though she was now with Dee’s ex-husband, they had been good friends, and it hurt her feelings that she was acting odd around her now. The only reason that Y/N could think of that would make her act that way was she wasn’t happy about the baby. So, Y/N smiled politely at her and then turned her attention back to the kids.
Jensen had also noticed the difference, and quite frankly, it made him a little angry. Not really angry at Dee, but the fact that something was keeping the women from being friends as they used to be. Yes, he had been married to Dee and now was with Y/N, but he and Dee had parted ways very amicably, and he didn’t understand what was causing her to act differently towards him and Y/N. Danneel had even moved on, so he was confused. When he looked at Y/N and saw that she looked uncomfortable, he decided he would get down to the root of the problem, walking toward Dee to ask her what was going on.
“Hey, Dee,” he greeted her, offering her a beer.
“Hey, Jay,” she smiled, accepting the drink and putting the bottle to her lips.
“Look, I have to ask. What’s going on with you and Y/N? I can tell something’s bothering you, and I know it must hurt her feelings that you’re acting weird toward her now.”
“Really, Jay? You have to ask?”
“Yeah, I do because I can’t figure out why you don’t want to be around her much anymore.”
“Jay, I know you guys are together again and doing well, but don’t you think she’s a little resentful that you came to me when you left? I’m not trying to bring up hurtful memories, but I don’t want to try to hang out with her when she has to resent me,” she said exasperatedly, throwing her hands up.
“Oh,” he deadpanned, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. That wasn’t what he thought the problem was.
Y/N had been watching the interaction and could tell the conversation was serious. She sat there for a moment, considering her next move. Yes, she was feeling hurt and didn’t want the confrontation with Danneel, but she also had to be around her if she was going to be with Jensen. So, she stood and walked over to the two, determined to try and fix whatever the issue was.
“Dee, look, I know you must feel a certain way because I can sense the difference in how you treat me now, but we need to figure this out. If not for our sakes, for the kids. We have to have a relationship as you are their mother, and I’m with their dad. So, please, whatever the issue is, can we talk it out?”
“Y/N, I don’t have a problem with you, I swear. I just told Jensen that I stayed distant because I thought you resented me for him coming to stay with me after he left. I didn’t want to make you uncomfortable if you did. I’m sorry. I should’ve talked to one of you about it instead of everyone getting mixed signals.”
“Is that all?” Y/N asked, relieved that Dee had no problem with their baby.
“Yes! I didn’t want to upset you if you didn’t want to talk to me. But I do miss our friendship. I couldn’t ask for a better person to be with the father of my kids. They love you, Y/N, and that makes me happy. So, can we put this behind us?”
“Of course, we can. And I love those kids so much. I’m so very thankful to get to be in their lives,” Y/N whispered, her emotions getting the best of her.
Jensen watched as the two women hugged each other, beginning to laugh and talk as they walked away together. He thought his heart might burst at the love he felt for Y/N at that moment. He was also sad that his actions had come between the relationship between them. He hadn’t realized that going to stay with Dee when he did could’ve impacted how the women interacted with each other after the fact and that it would’ve affected his kids, too. He knew he would never do anything again that would hurt her, Dee, or his kids. In fact, he would try even harder to be the man they all deserved.
Jensen had just finished cleaning up after everyone had left from the barbecue they’d had that day. Y/N had gone upstairs to take a nap. Playing hostess and playing with the kids, even though not at the capacity she wanted to, had worn her out. As he finished up the last of the cleaning and had put the last dishes in the dishwasher, he decided to go check in on her.
He walked up the stairs and down the small hallway to the master bedroom. He opened the door slowly, trying to be as quiet as possible, peaking his head in the room. A bright smile erupted on his face as he took in the scene before him. She was sleeping soundly, his pillow snuggled in her arms, face buried in it.
Damn, how he loved that woman. He knew she was the one he would spend the rest of his life with. He couldn’t and didn’t want to imagine his life without her. Besides his kids, she was his everything, one of the people he wanted to be better, do better for, and he knew what he had to do. No more waiting to complete his forever.
Y/N woke up to light kisses on her face, her eyes fluttering open to meet bright green eyes. She smiled despite still being groggy from sleep. How could she not? She loved that man, and just seeing his face brought a smile to her face.
“Hey, darlin’. Did you rest well?” he asked, placing one last kiss on her forehead.
“I did. Thank you for letting me nap while you cleaned. I’m sorry I was so tired,” she mumbled, still half asleep.
“No need to thank me, beautiful.”
She started to sit up but felt a weird sensation on her finger. She looked down at her left hand, and a piece of thread was tied to her finger. Confused, she looked up at Jensen and cocked an eyebrow. Before she could say anything, he spoke.
“Y/N, let me get this out before you say anything, please,” he almost begged. She was nervous but nodded to signal for him to continue.
“The first time I got married, we'd been together for a few years. Marriage...It just seemed like the next step. I wanted a wife and family, and I loved her and am forever grateful for our three beautiful children. But, for two people to really love each other, to really commit to each other, it has to be something you want and need, not just something that seems like the right thing to do. It has to be a decision. And I think two people have to live that decision every day. Even when things are hard, and you feel like giving up, you have to hang on to that decision, that choice to love each other, to be together through anything, even if only by a thread.”
As he mentioned the thread, he slowly opened his hand, and a ring slid down the string to rest on her finger. She looked up at him in shock, tears forming in her eyes. He smiled sweetly, cupping her face in his other hand as he began to speak again.
“I let that thread break once. This time, I won't let it break for anything. Y/N, baby, will you marry me?”
He held his breath as she stared up at him, her eyes brimming with tears, as his started to gather on his lashes. He wanted to marry her more than anything, and he was silently praying as she gave him her answer.
“Yes, Jay! Oh my God, yes!” she squealed as the tears broke free and ran down her cheeks.
His tears joined hers as he kissed her as if she was holding his next breath on her lips. He pulled back to look at the woman that had agreed to be his wife, a look of awe on his face as he looked in her eyes, nothing but love shining back at him. He had never been so grateful that singing a Bob Seger song at a con ended up giving him something he would cherish forever. Her.

Jensen Ackles x Female Reader
𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: Jensen had been busy but one day when he decides to surprise you just because he loves you. Simply meant for those who want to dance in the kitchen with your spouse for no reason, or go on old timey dates together.
𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: None~ Just a short little one shot with Jensen fluff. Jensen being a reassuring husband. Husband Jensen x Wife Reader.
Jensen had finished up filming a little promo as Soldier Boy for Gen V, the spin-off for The Boys. He was excited to play that role again since he had a lot of fun with the character on The Boys to begin with. It was a matter of days until the promo was released to the public.
Things were going well for him right now. He had even gotten some news that he would be touring around with Jared and the Supernatural cast again for some conventions and he was more than excited for that! He would be leaving in a couple of weeks for that.
But until then, he was staying busy with some other roles or promotions or whatever was going on with the brewery.
This afternoon, however, he finally had some time off. He told you that he was going to be busy all day making some plans and arrangements for going to the upcoming conventions, but he just wanted to surprise you. Especially since he married such a busy little bee.
While he spent his time filming and tending to the bar, you had a career of your own as a costume designer for musical artists and some bands whether its for their music videos or for what they would wear for their concerts. You had worked with Selena Gomez, Carrie Underwood, as well as Amy Lee from Evanescence, just to name a few individuals from some different genres of music.
He knew you had an eye for detail and that was one of the many things he loved about you. Amongst other traits you have of course.
So after his morning errands were done, he stopped by the store to pick up some surprises for you, which lead him to where he was now.
He was carrying in his little surprise when he opened the door to find you cleaning the kitchen listening to some music. When he looked at the tv since that's what you apparently decided to use, he saw that it was some song called 'How to be a Heartbreaker' by Marina and the Diamonds.
It sounded pretty upbeat and he chuckled to himself when he saw you dancing around to the chorus of this song while you were putting something away in the kitchen. He couldn't help the smile that was forming on his face.
You were adorable and he couldn't believe he actually married someone like you. There was never a moment when you couldn't light up his world.
He walked over to you when you didn't have anything in your hands, then he wrapped an arm around you from behind. In his hand was a bouquet of your favorite flowers just because.
"Now who's heart trying to break?" He asked.
You nearly jumped when you felt an arm wrap around you from behind but you smiled when you saw the flowers followed by the familiar voice of your husband.
You looked up at him and saw the grin on his face that made your heart flutter since the first day you met him. People have said that the honeymoon phase doesn't last that long but for you, it was unwavering. Sure there's disagreements and imperfections like any marriage, but you two were able to make it work and that was what mattered the most. You hoped that you two would have a long marriage.
“No one’s. The only heart I have is yours, and I’d like to keep it that way.” You heard Jensen chuckle before he leaned down and gave you a soft kiss on your lips.
When he pulled away you smiled when you looked at the flowers. You took them before you got out of his grasp, “Thank you for these, they’re beautiful! But I thought your day was booked.”
“Well, I said that but I may or may not have bent the truth a little.” Jensen replied while you were looking for a vase. Once you found one you placed the flowers inside and set them on the table.
“You’re free the rest of the day? That’s great! I know you needed some rest from your busy schedule.” You smiled before you walked towards him. He took one of your hands and twirled you around before pulling you into his chest, then he leaned down and kissed your shoulder.
“It is. I know that I’ll be gone for a while with the convention too. I wanted to spend as much time with you as I can, and today worked out perfectly.” You grinned at what he said and you heard the tv change to a slower song. You put on a random playlist on Spotify through your TV so it was a little unpredictable about what songs they’d play since you didn’t look before you clicked.
“How did I get so lucky to have you?” He smiled at what you said while he turned you around, placing a hand on your hip while keeping your other hands clasped together.
“What are you doing?” You asked.
“Dancing with my beautiful bride in our kitchen.” He replied and you snickered as you two started dancing around to whatever the song was. Based off the tune you could hear throughout the house it sounded like it was ‘Two is Better than One’ by Boys Like Girls. Perhaps your Spotify account was favoring some early 2000’s music at the moment.
As the two of you danced, you placed your head on his chest, smiling softly to yourself. It was the moments like these you appreciated most. You knew he was busy, but it was little things like this that let you know Jensen still cared despite his busy schedule.
You remembered the very first time the both of you danced as a married couple on your wedding day. It was truly the happiest day of your life. Your wedding was in the spring and you had an outdoor ceremony. All of your friends and family members were happy for the both of you.
“What are you thinking about, Love?” Jensen asked and you hummed a little.
“Reminiscing about our wedding.” You admitted.
Once the song was over, Jensen looked down at you before he kissed the top of your head. Then he got an idea.
“Why don’t you get dressed in something a little warmer and we’ll go out tonight? It’s supposed to be chilly this evening and I don’t want you getting yourself sick.” He said. You agreed and he watched you go upstairs to your room so you could change.
Once you were dressed in something warmer the two of you left the house so you both could enjoy yourselves. It had been a while since. You had a little date night.
He took you to a nice Italian restaurant where the both of you ate dinner and you had some dessert there. After that, he ended up taking you to a movie. However, tonight was your lucky night!
Jensen had managed to find a drive-in movie theatre. You thought those were practically extinct by now! But it was a sweet surprise nonetheless. You’ve always wanted to go into a drive in theatre and it was surreal that you were finally able to go. You both were even in the iconic ‘67 Impala that Jensen got to keep after Supernatural ended.
Everything felt so perfect.
You and Jensen were unbuckled and you were huddled together. His arm was around your waist and your head was on his shoulder as you both were looking at the screen watching ‘The Wedding Planner’ with Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey.
You knew Jensen wasn’t overly fond of romantic movies, and neither were you necessarily but you did like watching some of J. Lo’s movies every once in a while and you didn’t recall seeing this movie.
“Not even two minutes into the movie and she already reminds me of you.” You could hear Jensen say and you snickered.
“Oh yeah? How’s that?”
“You seem to be a little bit of a perfectionist. A hard worker. Dedicated to your job. But you look much better in those little suits with those pencil skirts than Jennifer does.” He chuckled and you smiled at the last part.
“Well it’s not easy planning and designing what people are going to wear in front of millions, potentially trillions of people.” You reminded and he just grinned as he laid his head down on top of your own as you watched the movie.
You got to the part of the movie where the children’s doctor saved the wedding planner. How a meeting like that happened must’ve been more than random chance. It seemed like fate, then again so did a lot of scripts for romantic movies like this. But of course there was always that problem to make romantic movies a bit more complicated.
“Now that’s in poor taste… if you’re engaged, you shouldn’t go with another girl to the movies or dance with her in the rain. That is a sure fire way to mess with a woman’s heart.” You said.
“Well, they have to have some sort of plot twist for these movies ya know.” He reminded and you grinned and shook your head.
“Yeah I suppose you’re right.”
You two continued to watch the movie and saw that McConaughey’s character saved Lopez’s character not once but twice now. But of course there was always that argument between the two characters to create a little angst.
“I can’t imagine how many weddings she’s seen not work out. This poor bride is going to get her heart broken. She’s got the worst judgement.” You said and he hummed a little.
“Yeah.. the bride and groom seem to be so incredibly different. I get that opposites attract but this a little too much.” He said.
Watching the beginning of this movie you started to wonder about a few things.
“Jensen? Did you ever have doubts if we would work out? I mean, we both have busy schedules… what if one day we’re too busy for each other and what if what everyone says about the honeymoon phase ending and we just fall apart?”
Jensen looked down at you and frowned a little, “Where’s this coming from, Darlin’?”
“I don’t know… I just hear things about couples losing their spark and I don’t want that ever happening to us…”
Jensen shifted and cupped your face so you could look up at him.
“I’ve never had a single doubt about us. Not one.” He reassured as he tucked a strand of hair behind your ear, “Yeah you and I have busy careers.. That’s a part of life.”
“But the fact that you’re even concerned about something like that happening, and the fact that you don’t want the spark to leave either means that you’re willing to fight for us if that time ever comes. Sure for some couples the honeymoon phase doesn’t last forever. But how do you think that couples married for over fifty years works out? They don’t let that spark ever fade even if it flickers from time to time.”
You gazed into his eyes and you could see the sincerity behind them. You smiled softly as you lifted your hand and caressed his face as he continued, “You’ve made me the happiest man on the planet the moment you said yes when I proposed to you. And I know that there is nothing you and I can’t do together. Our marriage will last a lifetime. I meant it when I said till death do we part.”
Your smile grew a little bigger when you remembered his vows that day. He looked so handsome standing there at the altar and you remember getting emotional when he said those vows that day.
“You’re right… No matter how busy we get, as long as we always make sure we take that time out for each other, as long as we fight for one another, as long as we love one another, then that’s all that really matters, isn’t it?” You said and he smiled.
“And I’ll love you forever and always.” He promised.
You leaned up and kissed him, and you could feel him smiling into the kiss causing your heart to flutter just like it did the very first time you kissed him.
Needless to say, this was a pretty good date night with your husband. He always knew what to say, and you knew everything he said was truthful. You knew that your marriage would last a life and you’d always be Mrs. Jensen Ackles.
Hey guys! I was just feeling like writing some soft Jensen content. Needed some fluff in my life. Hope this little one shot brightened your day and put a smile on your face! Love you all~

Family don't end in blood - Chapter 11
Summary: The summer break has officially started for Y/N and rest of the cast. What Y/N thought would be a bland summer quickly turns into fun, and some scary situations arise...
Word Count: 3489
Pairing: Jensen Ackles x daughter!reader
Warnings: A scary situation
A/N: Thanks for coming back to read more and sorry for the wait!
3rd person POV
"Honey, I've been doing some thinking," Danneel said, Jensen humming as he looked at her with a smirk, "Jensen, not that kind of thinking. Get your mind out of the gutter."
"Well, I wouldn't be opposed to that kind of thinking either," he said, Danneel smacking his chest playfully and a groan emerging from behind the couch, a disgusted look on Y/N's face,
"Just... Let me fill up my water bottle and I'll be outta here. Jared asked me to come over to help him with something so you'll have the house to yourself to do... Whatever... Ew," she made a disgusted face, Jensen laughing,
"It's normal, kiddo. Don't have to be ashamed of it."
"Yeah, I'll remind you of them last words of yours when a fourth Ackles comes into picture. Or fourth and fifth, given mom's history with twins," she said, Danneel falling into a laughing fit while Jensen rolled his eyes,
"First off, fifth Ackles," he said with a glare, making Y/N roll her eyes, "No rolling eyes and no twins. And second, there's protection, y'know?"
"Yeah, cause that always works out," she rolled her eyes, "I'll be over at the Padaleckis. Call if you need anything. Now... Just continue whatever you were doing," she made a fake gagging sound, leaving the house.
"She's got a sense of humor," Jensen said,
"Mhm. I particularly like the fact that she can roast the hell out of you," she smirked, "Now, that thinking you mentioned..."
"Oh, who's got their mind in the gutter now?"
Y/N's POV
"Moose!" you exclaimed as you caught a glimpse of a figure in the garage, sporting its usual dumb attire, a long sleeve, and some pants. It wouldn't be dumb if it were February, but it was July and at 9am you were already sweating your ass off. That's Texas, gotta love the heat. And it seems Jared particularly loves it as he hadn't thought of changing. He turned around, waving as you approached him, finally finding some shade in the garage,
"Munchkin!" he said with a smile, wrapping his arms around you and hugging you gently, which you returned,
"What's up?" she asked as she broke off the hug, "You broke some shit or did something bad? I gotta cover your ass from Gen?"
"No. I promised her to clean the garage and... Well... I need help," he sighed, "I didn't realize this much stuff was inside. Bad move to say I could do it by myself."
"Oooh, so you're aware you're getting old," you teased, Jared sending you a glare, "Alright alright, so you need help moving all this stuff?" you asked and he nod, "Why didn't you call dad-I mean Jensen?" Jared smiled, ruffling your hair,
"I told you not to hide from me, I ain't your dad and I ain't a snitch. I won't tell. Now, I was gonna call him too, but I figured he missed Dee."
"Yeah," you said, making a disgusted face, Jared laughing,
"That's completely normal kiddo."
"Whatever," you waved your hands in the air, "Where do we start?"
"I began over there," he pointed, "Maybe you go to the opposite end? We meet halfway?"
"You mean, I'll meet you somewhere in the corner of your pile," she said with a smirk, "Alright let's get to work."
"What are you gonna do this summer?" Jared asked, making you shrug your shoulders,
"Nothing," you said, lowering a box down,
"What do you mean nothing? It's summer! You don't have work, school. What did you do back in Y/H/C over the summer?"
"Hang out with friends, watch movies and TV shows. Read, play the guitar," you said, getting a hold of another box with a grunt, "I'm no fun."
"That's okay, you don't have to be partying every day to have fun," Jared said,
"Y/N!" Shep's voice called out, making you turn around and smile as the boy approached you and almost tackled you into a hug,
"Well hello to you to Shep. Now, who gave you permission to be almost as tall as me?"
"I did," Jared said with a proud, dorky smile on his face,
"Sure thing," you giggled, "How was basketball practice?"
"Good, it was really fun. Oh, we're playing on Thursday. Can you come to watch me?" he asked excitedly and you nod,
"I'll be there in the front row. He'll be in the back, he's way too tall for the front," you said, pointing at Jared and making Shep laugh, "Well your dad and I were just talking about summer break so, any other fun things you have going this summer?"
"I have nature and basketball camp," he said, "I'm super excited about that. And that's about it."
"You should join him in the nature camp munchkin," Jared hopped in, "It's really fun."
"I'm too old for that."
"We take in people of all age. There's some really old people at the camp," Shep said,
"Yeah? How old are we talking?" you asked,
"Like, daddy old," he said, pointing at Jared who made a pouty face while you were trying not to die of laughter,
"Okay kid I owe you ice cream for that one," you said as you calmed down from your laughing fit, "I'll-I'll see about the camp," you added, taking a deep breath, "Now go take a shower. You stink like your dad after moving a grand total of..." you turned around, counting the boxes, "Five. Five boxes," you said, looking at him, "You really are an old man."
"Told ya!" Shep called from the door before closing it,
"That kid," Jared huffed, "I'm no old man!"
"Okay okay," Sara giggled, the door to the garage opening,
"Now if I recall correctly, you said you could do it alone," Gen's voice rang as she approached you, "She's a plus one. Hi honey," she smiled at you, hugging you which you reciprocated,
"She barely even counts, look at how tiny she is!" Jared tried,
"This tiny thing here moved more boxes than you did. Plus, you had a head start of two, old man," you pointed out, making Jared roll his eyes,
"Old man? Where did that come from?"
"Shep."
"Shep!" Gen said surprised, "Damn, that kid is becoming witty!"
"He is," you said, giggling, "Come on, someone's pride is hurt," you nod at Jared and Gen rolled her eyes as she walked over to where he was and gave him a kiss,
"I love you," she said with a smile, "Despite you being so old," she added, Jared groaning as you giggled, "Kidding."
"Where are other kids?" you asked,
"Dot is with her aunt and Tom should be back after soccer practice. JJ's waiting for him to finish up. Now, you, what are your plans for the summer?"
“Y/N!” Tom’s voice exclaimed, making you turn around and wave at the two. You hugged Tom as he came closer, rolling your eyes at the fact that he’s as tall as you are despite being way younger than you,
"Jared and I were just talking about it. Nothing, really.”
"What do you mean, nothing? Don't Jensen and Danneel have some plans?"
"If they do, I'm not invited."
“Sup guys!” you said, smiling at JJ who nod at you, “How was soccer practice?”
“Was fun,” Tom said, “I gotta do some drills to practice a bit more.”
“Could you practice with us Y/N?” JJ asked, making you smile, “You helped me with my passes a lot. Maybe you’d want to help Tom too?”
“You play soccer?” Tom asked and you nod,
“I used to play when I was around your age. A thing or two stuck around,” you said, “Of course we can practice. How about after lunch?”
“Sounds good,” Tom said, “And… What’s dad doing?”
“Dead lifting,” Gen said as she giggled while looking at Jared, “And failing.”
“He’s not deadlifting, he's dying,” you added, making everyone laugh, “You two go inside, refresh. I’m taking you to ice cream when the twins come back from soccer and dance,” you said, watching as the two walked away,
“Well JJ warmed up to you a little,” Gen noticed,
“Yeah. Nothing much, really. She actually practiced with me only because Jensen talked her into it. She does say good morning to me. It’s progress though,” you sighed, “I’ll go help your old man so he doesn’t throw his back out,” you teased, Gen giggling,
“Alright. Jensen and Danneel are coming over for barbecue tonight, just so you know.”
“Oh, food, fun!” you said with a smile, Gen rolling her eyes as she walked back into the house through garage, “Sup, old man?” you said as you approached Jared who sent you a bitch face, “Don’t frown too much. You might throw a face muscle out,” you teased, Jared stopping and pulling his sleeves up playfully as you began running away from him, laughing.
3rd person POV
While Gen and Danneel were setting the tables for dinner later that day and Jensen was helping Jared smoke the meat and not eat any raw pieces in the process, Y/N was playing soccer with Tom, JJ, and Zepp. They did some drills for soccer, and she also showed Shep a few of those for basketball as well. Arrow and Odette were sitting on the side, probably plotting an end-of-the-world situation, as they usually do.
“Man, you ever thought of sending Y/N to soccer camp?” Jared said as the two looked at the kids playing, “You see her? She’s holding her own against Tom who’s as tall as her, and is even stronger than she is.”
“I mean, I’d love for her to do some sports,” Jensen said, “We do train together, but I can tell she loves soccer. Seems to enjoy it at least,” he said, “I can always offer it to her. It’s up to her if she’s gonna take it or not though,” he added,
“True. She’s also good with basketball, but I see she finds more joy in soccer,” Jared analyzed, “Now, you better tell me you have something planned for the summer that includes Y/N.”
“Everything that we planned for the summer includes Y/N, what are you on about?” Jensen asked confusedly,
“Well she mentioned today she’s probably not invited to whatever plans you might have, so I’m just making sure you haven’t lost your mind,” Jared said, “What is it?”
“Disney World,” Jensen smirked, “Dee planned the whole thing out. Too bad I said yes, she was gonna bring you if I didn’t want to go.”
“Take it back!” Jared exclaimed, pouting, “I wanna go too!”
“You got your own family doofus. Go figure it out,” Jensen teased, watching as Y/N approached them, talking to the kids as she was walking backwards towards them, “Stuff your face with that raw meat or I swear to God-“
“I hath been sent by the hungry tribe to ask when’s dinner gonna be done?” Y/N asked,
“Well if your uncle Jared doesn’t eat any of the remaining raw meat, it shall be done in about half an hour,” Jensen said with a smile, “Having fun?”
“Yep. Tom is really strong,” you said, “Barely keeping up with him. I think next time we come to Texas he might be taller than me.”
“That’s perks of being a Padalecki,” Jared smirked, “You like soccer, munchkin?”
“Yeah,” she said, “It’s fun. Lets me blow off some steam. Why?”
“You played when you were younger too, right?” Jensen said and she nod, “How does soccer camp sound to you?”
“I mean… I dunno,” she said, scratching her head, “I’m, like, too old. Too small. You should also be in a team to join, right?”
“Actually, no,” Jared said, “You gotta play a test match to determine your skills, but you don’t have to be in a club or to actively train in order to join. Everyone’s accepted. Now you might be placed with younger kids, but only because you’re smaller built than the kids your age.”
“I think I might be the first person they’ll turn down,” she giggled, “I don’t think that’s a good idea. Let the kids have fun.”
“But you’re a kid too,” Jensen frowned, “And you should have fun too. And this is obviously fun for you. Try it out.”
“You really think I could do well?” she asked, Jared rolling his eyes,
“Tom!” he exclaimed, Tom whipping around and running up to the three, “What do you think of Y/N as a soccer player?”
“She’s amazing!” he exclaimed happily, “My coach said I’m becoming real strong compared to my teammates, and I shouldn’t push with all I have all the time, but she’s holding up so well!”
“Do you think she’d make it to the camp?” Jensen asked and Tom’s face lit up as he looked at Y/N,
“You wanna join?”
“Your dad and uncle think I should,” she said, shrugging her shoulders, “I’m not so sure though.”
“You’d do amazing!” he exclaimed, “Come on over tomorrow morning, when Zeppelin has practice. We do rounds for the camp then.”
“I’ll think about it,” she said, nodding,
“Y/N! Tom!” Zeppelin exclaimed from behind, “Come on, I wanna practice shooting!”
“That’s our cue,” Y/N said, “Tag, you’re it,” she slapped Tom, running away as Tom began chasing her,
“Look at how fast she is!” Jared exclaimed, Jensen giggling,
“She overtook me a few times when we went running together back in Vancouver,” he said, “Embarassing to admit, but it is what it is,” he added, “I hope she tries out tomorrow morning. I’d love to see her have fun for once. She’s too wound up.”
“She’s scared, it’s normal,” Jared assured him, “Let’s just hope she tries out. Incoming, ten o’clock.”
“Have you eaten any more raw ribs, Jared?” Danneel asked as she approached, Jensen giggling as Jared rolled his eyes,
“Y’know that’s becoming old, right?”
“What? The fact that you ate raw ribs a couple months ago, again? Nope, not getting old, like, at all,” Jensen teased, “Honey, I got a question,” he said as Danneel sat in his lap,
“Yeah, what is it?”
“What do you think about Y/N joining the soccer camp with Zepp, J bird and Tom?”
“Oh, I’d love that!” she exclaimed happily, “I noticed she’s having fun. And when y’all finish filming, she can join their soccer team too. I think she’d blossom, to have some sports that isn’t overtaking her old dad when they go running,” she teased, Jensen rolling his eyes,
“Yeah yeah, you didn’t think I was old this morning,” he smirked, Jared making a fake gagging sound,
“That’s disgusting,” he said, handing Danneel the plate with meat, “Here ya go. We got just this to finish up and we’re done. Salads done?”
“Yes sir,” Danneel said, “Bring it over and then we need to wrestle kids into coming to eat.”
“I think they’ll be wrestling us for big pieces of meat when we call them,” Jensen pointed out, “They’ve been running all day straight. They’ll eat like Jared, just not raw meat.”
8 days later...
“Okay, you three sure you’ll be okay?” Danneel asked, making you roll your eyes,
“We’re gonna be fine mom, we got this,” you said,
“We’re gonna kick some ass!” Zeppelin exclaimed as he ran up to you, making Danneel gasp and Jensen snort,
“Zeppelin Bram Ackles, language!” Danneel said, making you giggle,
“English,” JJ added, everyone turning confused looks towards her, “Language. It’s English.”
“She’s got her humor down,” you said with a laugh,
“Just like her mom,” Danneel added, Jensen sending a bitch-face towards her,
“Okay guys, you have fun. Call if you need anything and we’ll see you in fifteen days on the games,” Jensen said, hugging JJ tightly, “Love you birdie,” he whispered while Zeppelin hugged Danneel and you stood back, watching them with a smile. As JJ ran off to find her friends, Jensen walked up to you and gave you a hug too, “My big girl,” he murmured, making you roll your eyes,
“Shut up I ain’t going to military,” you responded, Danneel laughing as he let you go, “Thanks for letting me go.”
“Thanks for trying something out of your comfort zone,” Danneel said, hugging you as Zeppelin jumped into Jensen’s arms, “Have fun out here. Don’t be a big sister all the time.”
“I’ll try,” you smiled, watching as they turned back around and walked to their car, driving off. Zeppelin tugged at your hand, grabbing your attention,
“Let’s go unpack and then we can eat!”
“You got an appetite of your dad, silly,” you giggled, grabbing your duffel, “Come on. Let’s figure this out.”
Six days later...
Okay, Jensen was totally right.
This camp was so much fun.
You haven’t made much friends, as a combination of you being an introvert and younger kids you were playing with who have other fun things to do, but you’ll lie if you said you didn’t enjoy all the games, drills, matches you played. And, of course, all the food.
JJ and Tom had made it into the mixed squad alongside you, so you had some extra work on top of regular stuff, but you didn’t mind. JJ wasn’t exactly ignoring you, but she wasn’t exactly happy to see you there either. You knew she was upset that you joined on the same boat as she did, and you knew she probably felt a little jealous because soccer in this league used to be just her thing. Maybe if they let you play with kids your age, she wouldn’t be as upset as she is. But you couldn’t go against the rules of the camp, and you certainly knew you couldn’t go against the kids that are as tall as Jensen, regardless of their gender.
The downtime you had usually consisted of reading and listening to music, occasionally taking a walk through the wooded area not far from the living area.
On the other hand, you were really happy to see Zeppelin make some friends and have a lot of fun, he settled very well, finding kids that loved legos and dinosaurs and all the little random things he did, and you couldn’t be happier about it.
Of course, Jensen and Danneel texted daily, making sure everyone had everything they needed.
You were sitting on the window frame, the bedtime for little ones, including Zeppelin, had long passed. You were taking in some of the evening breeze when you saw a kid, no older than Zeppelin, approach you with another kid behind,
“Hey, are you Y/N, Zeppelin’s... sister?” he whispered, making you widen your eyes as you looked at the two boys,
“Yes, I am. What are you two doing outside? You’re crossing over the curfew.”
“Uh…” the kid scratched his head as he looked down,
“What happened? Is Zepp in trouble?” you asked as your heart picked up faster pace,
“We were playing truth or dare,” the other boy began, “And he got dared to go into the woods alone-“
“What?!” you whisper-yelled, turning around to look at all the other kids asleep, “Wait here,” you added, walking over to put your shoes on, grabbing your flashlight and your phone, and you walked back, jumping out the window, landing easily, “What direction did he go to?”
“Behind the dorms, there,” the other boy showed you,
“Okay, you two get back into your rooms and keep your butts still. If I don’t show up within an hour, go wake an adult up and tell them everything you told me. Tell them I have the phone on me and they can locate it. You understand me?”
“But-“
“No buts,” you said sternly, sneaking to their living area, “You already messed up enough by doing this stupid dare in the first place,” you said, “I can go wake someone up right now, but I’m willing to let y’all slide if I find my brother. Go. Inside.”
The two quietly jumped back up to their room through the window and you took off to the woods, swearing internally.
You had totally forgotten about her.
What if she’s here, what if she found you?
What if she took him?
He must be scared out of his mind to be with someone like her.
Of course you were gonna get happiness swept right beneath your feet.
You shouldn't have relaxed this easy, you shouldn't have let your guard down like this.
Even if he wasn’t taken, he’s still alone, in the dark woods.
There shouldn’t be any animals around, but you were scared for the kid nonetheless.
“Zeppelin?” you called out for what seemed to be the hundredth time since you stepped into the woods, you definitely lost track of time and you knew your legs are running on pure adrenaline as you knew how petrified you were. You could see her, clear as day, kicking the small boy you loved as if he's your blood. The sights in front of your eyes were at times so real and vivid that you had to slap your face to bring yourself back to reality.
Time was ticking and you couldn't find him. With every moment that passed, you were more and more assured that your mother took him. He's a smart kid and he's got hearing of a hawk. He'd have heard you calling him by now. You didn't know what to do first, you were calling out for him, praying to whatever there is to keep him safe, battling ugly scenarios in your head, until you snapped,
"Listen to me, you bitch," you called out into the open as you came to a stop, "I know you're here and I know you can hear me. Come out of your hidey hole, let him go and I'll come with you. It's time we put an end to this."
You were about to move further down the path but you heard something snap to your left.

✨His true fate - Part 6/?✨
Summary: Jensen hasn't been happy for years. But it seems almost impossible for him to escape. After another nasty argument between him and his wife, he decides to visit his ´former´ best friend for his birthday. Back in Austin, an encounter awaits him that will turn his life completely upside down.
Pairing: Jensen x Reader
Warnings: Language, age gap, "cheating", kinda spicy scenes
Word Count: 7503
A/N: English isn’t my first language, so please be lenient. 💙✨
The second you stepped into your house, closing the door softly behind you, Jensen let out a guttural yell and slammed both palms against the steering wheel. “What the fuck was I thinking?”, he cursed loudly, the frustration and regret boiling over.
He sat there, breathing heavily, replaying the events of the last twenty-four hours in his mind. What had he expected? You had only spent one night together, sharing a few stolen kisses and vulnerable moments. He was much older than you, still legally married with children to think about. Why had he even considered that something more could come from this?
Jensen leaned his forehead against the steering wheel, his thoughts a chaotic whirlwind. You had been clear about your reservations from the start, reminding him of the age gap and the complications of his situation. Yet, despite all the red flags, he had allowed himself to hope, to believe that maybe, just maybe, there was a chance for something real.
“And now look at me”, he muttered to himself, his voice filled with self-reproach. “Rejected in the worst way possible”.
Meanwhile, inside your apartment, you leaned heavily against the closed door, trying to reconcile the whirlwind of emotions that had consumed you since meeting Jensen. You couldn't believe how drawn you felt to someone you had only just met. Love at first sight, soulmates, fate—all of it seemed like romantic notions from movies, not something that could happen in real life. Yet here you were, grappling with feelings that had taken you completely by surprise.
You paced the living room, trying to shake off the lingering thoughts of Jensen's warm smile, his gentle touch, and the way he had made you feel alive, even if only for a fleeting moment. You hated how your heart had skipped a beat every time he looked at you, how your thoughts kept drifting back to him despite your best efforts to push them away.
"It's just a moment", you whispered to yourself, a mantra to ward off the ache in your chest. "In a few days, I won't even think about him again. Jensen will be just a little memory in the back of my head".
But deep down, you knew it wasn't that simple. There was something about Jensen that had stirred a longing within you, a desire for connection and understanding that you hadn't felt in a long time. It wasn't just about physical attraction or a moment of shared intimacy. It was the glimpse of what could have been—a bond that had the potential to grow into something deeper, if only circumstances had been different.
You sighed heavily, sinking onto the couch and burying your face in your hands. You needed to focus, on letting go of the fantasy that had briefly taken hold of your heart.
As the hours passed, you busied yourself with mundane tasks, trying to distract yourself from the ache of disappointment and longing.
Jensen, too, drove through the streets with a heavy heart, his mind replaying your parting words over and over.
As Jensen parked the car in front of Jared’s house, he hesitated for a long moment before finally gathering the resolve to step out and head inside. Gen had taken the kids to her mother’s for a few days, which meant Jensen and Jared had the house to themselves. It was supposed to be a time to relax and enjoy each other’s company, but Jensen’s mind was weighed down with thoughts of you and the conversation that had just transpired.
When Jensen entered the house, he found Jared sitting on the couch, a slice of pizza in hand despite the early hour. Jared’s easygoing demeanor shifted as soon as he saw Jensen’s expression. He could tell something was off just by looking at his friend.
“Hey, man”, Jared greeted cautiously, setting the pizza down on a napkin beside him. “You’re back early. How did it go?”.
Jensen sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair before dropping onto the nearest armchair. He stared at the floor for a moment, gathering his thoughts.
“Not great”, Jensen finally admitted, his voice tinged with regret. “Fucking awful actually”.
Jared’s brow furrowed in concern as he leaned forward, his gaze fixed on Jensen. “What happened?”.
Jensen hesitated, grappling with how to articulate the mess he had made. “I screwed up, Jared”, he confessed quietly. “She… she said she doesn’t even want a friendship, let alone something more”.
Jared’s expression shifted from concern to confusion. “How did that happen?”, he asked, genuinely puzzled. “She seemed pretty into you”.
“I don’t know, man”, he muttered. “I thought… I thought there was something there, you know? But I pushed too hard, too fast. I guess she realized it was all too complicated”.
Jared nodded slowly, processing Jensen’s words. “So, what now?”, he asked, his tone gentle but probing.
“I don’t know”, Jensen admitted. “I need to figure this out, Jared. I can’t keep going on like this”.
Jared sighed deeply, watching Jensen with a mixture of sympathy and concern. He knew his friend well enough to understand that this rejection would weigh heavily on him for some time. Seeing Jensen genuinely attracted to someone was a rarity, and it was clear that you had left a deep impression.
“Should I text her?”, Jared asked cautiously, sensing Jensen’s despondency. “Maybe just to check in, see if there’s anything salvageable?”.
Jensen shook his head slowly, his gaze fixed on the floor. “No”, he murmured quietly. “She’s done with me, Jared. She made that clear”.
“But what did you say to her?”, Jared pressed gently, leaning forward as he searched for answers. “What turned her off so hard?”.
Jensen rubbed his temples wearily, frustration etched on his face. His shoulders slumping even further as he tried to articulate the turmoil inside him.
“I couldn’t even sit down in a cafe with her”, Jensen muttered, his frustration evident. “I was afraid someone might recognize me, you know? And then I took her to the park instead. I kept looking around, making sure no one would see us. She must have thought I was ashamed of her or just… just cheating on my wife without any deeper meaning”.
Jared listened quietly.
“Shit”, Jared finally replied, his voice sympathetic. “She must have felt really sidelined… Did you explain to her about being an actor, about why you couldn’t be seen with her while still being married?”, Jared asked.
Jensen shook his head, his frustration evident. “No”, he muttered. “I should have, but by then, the damage was already fucking done. She had already made up her mind about me”.
Jared sat back, mulling over Jensen’s words as they lingered in the air between them. He could sense Jensen’s regret and genuine feelings for you, despite the short time you had spent together. The way Jensen spoke about you made it clear that there was more to this than just a passing attraction.
After a moment of thoughtful silence, Jared spoke up again, his voice softer now, “You really care about her, don’t you?”.
Jensen looked up, meeting Jared’s gaze with a mixture of vulnerability and resignation. “Yeah”, he admitted quietly, his voice thick with emotion. “More than I expected to, honestly. There’s something about her… I can’t explain it”.
Jared nodded knowingly. He had seen Jensen with women before, but this seemed different. There was a depth to Jensen’s feelings that went beyond physical attraction or casual interest.
“She’s under your skin”, Jared observed gently. “Sometimes, that happens when you least expect it”.
“I think I’m gonna take a nap”, Jensen mumbled finally, his voice tinged with exhaustion. “I just need to clear my head”.
Jared nodded understandingly, removing his hand from Jensen’s shoulder. “Yeah, go get some rest”, he encouraged gently.
Two days had passed since you met Jensen for that stupid coffee. Despite your best efforts to move on and push the thoughts of him aside, his presence lingered in your mind like an unwelcome guest. Every minute seemed to be consumed with thoughts of Jensen—his smile, his voice, the way he looked at you. It was maddening how someone you had known for such a short time could have such a profound impact on your thoughts and emotions.
You found yourself replaying the moments spent together in your mind, analyzing every word and gesture. Had you been too harsh in your judgment of him? Should you have given him another chance to explain? These questions gnawed at you, fueling a sense of regret and longing.
Needing to pick up tomatoes for dinner, you headed to the nearby grocery store. As you approached the checkout counter, you spotted Jensen in a nearby aisle. Your heart skipped a beat at the sight of him, uncertainty flooding your senses. Should you talk to him? Apologize? But before you could decide, three girls approached Jensen.
They greeted him with enthusiasm, engaging him in lively conversation. Laughter echoed from their group, and you felt rooted to the spot, watching their interaction unfold. Seeing Jensen surrounded by attention only reinforced your earlier convictions. You couldn’t deny the pang of disappointment and frustration that washed over you.
The way he interacted with those girls confirmed your belief that perhaps you had made the right decision to distance yourself. It seemed he wasn’t worth the emotional turmoil you had experienced.
But unbeknownst to you, those girls were merely fans.
You bit your tongue and turned back toward the checkout counter, determined to ignore the tumultuous feelings Jensen’s presence stirred within you. As you paid for your tomatoes, your mind raced with conflicting thoughts. You hadn’t noticed Jensen spotting you, his focus clearly drawn to the fans around him.
Meanwhile, Jensen bid farewell to the enthusiastic fans with a polite smile, his mind distracted by the sight of you in the store. He quickly paid for his item, a six-pack of beer, and headed outside, scanning the area in search of you.
Outside the store, Jensen’s heart raced with anticipation and uncertainty. He wanted to find you, to explain himself, to make things right somehow. The regret of not fully explaining his situation gnawed at him, and he hoped for another chance to connect with you.
As you walked towards your car, each step felt like a deliberate effort to distance yourself from the emotional turmoil inside. You reached your car, fumbling with the keys as you tried to unlock the door, your thoughts a whirlwind of confusion and unresolved feelings.
Spotting you near your car, a surge of relief and nervousness washed over him. Jensen hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to approach you after everything that had transpired between you.
Taking a deep breath, Jensen walked towards you, his pace measured yet determined. He approached cautiously, not wanting to startle you but desperate to bridge the gap that had grown between you since that coffee.
“Hey”, Jensen called out softly as he neared your car, his voice carrying a mix of apprehension and hope. He stopped a short distance away, giving you space while silently hoping you would turn to acknowledge him.
Your heart raced at the sound of Jensen's voice calling out to you. Mentally cursing yourself, you turned around slowly, trying to steady yourself. Your knees felt weak just from meeting his gaze again, the intensity of the emotions from the past few days flooding back all at once.
You managed a soft "hey", your voice barely above a whisper. You attempted a smile, but it felt forced, not reaching your eyes where the turmoil of conflicting emotions lingered.
Jensen noticed the tension in your smile, his heart sinking a little at the sight of your guarded expression. He took a hesitant step closer, the distance between you palpable yet daunting.
"Can we talk?", Jensen asked earnestly, his voice tinged with both regret and a desperate longing for understanding.
You hesitated, uncertain whether you wanted to reopen that door of vulnerability. Yet, deep down, a part of you yearned for closure, for clarity on what had transpired between you.
"I… I guess so", you replied softly, still grappling with your own conflicted feelings.
Jensen nodded slightly, sensing your hesitation but grateful for the chance to speak with you again.
“How have you been?”, Jensen asked gently, his voice tentative yet sincere. His eyes searched yours, hoping to gauge your mood and perhaps find a glimmer of warmth or forgiveness.
You shifted uncomfortably, unsure of how to respond. His question was simple enough, but the complexity of your emotions made it difficult to formulate a straightforward answer.
“Fine”, you replied finally, your voice quiet yet firm. “Just… fine”.
Jensen nodded slowly, sensing the weight behind your words.
“I’ve been thinking a lot about our… conversation”, Jensen continued cautiously, choosing his words with care. “I didn’t handle it well. I should have explained things better”.
You nodded slightly, acknowledging his words without fully accepting them.
Jensen sighed heavily, a mix of frustration and remorse evident on his face as he brushed a hand over his features. The baseball cap he wore was turned backward, making him look even better, which tugged at your already conflicted emotions.
“Look, I’m sorry”, Jensen began, his voice earnest as he met your gaze with sincerity. “I didn’t mean to come off the way I did that day. It’s just… I’m not good at this kind of thing. And I should have been clearer”.
His words hung in the air, vulnerable and genuine. You could see the effort in his eyes, the desire to make amends for the misunderstanding that had driven you apart.
“I know I messed up”, Jensen continued, his tone softer now, more introspective. “I should have told you about… everything. About my situation, about why I acted the way I did”.
You listened. His admission of fault was unexpected yet somehow comforting.
Jensen took a breath, gathering his thoughts as he looked at you with a mixture of sincerity and vulnerability. His voice was low and earnest as he continued, wanting desperately for you to understand.
"I want you to know that I'm not a cheater", Jensen said firmly, his gaze unwavering. "There's a lot more going on than just my marriage. It's complicated… But… Meeting you… it stirred up feelings I haven't felt in a long time".
He paused, searching your face for any sign of acceptance or understanding. "I just want you to know that I'm not an asshole", he added, his voice tinged with a hint of self-reproach. "I never meant to mislead you or hurt you. I should have been more upfront about everything".
Jensen's words hung in the air, his sincerity palpable. You could sense the turmoil within him, the weight of his own guilt and the genuine desire to set things right between you. It was clear that he carried a burden of regret, and his openness now seemed like a genuine attempt to bridge the gap that had formed between you.
As you hesitated, Jensen stepped even closer, carefully placing a hand on your upper arm. His touch was gentle yet filled with unspoken apologies and a plea for understanding. Your heart raced, torn between the comfort of his presence and the uncertainty that still lingered.
“I… I need to go”, you whispered softly, your voice barely audible over the bustling sounds of the street.
As you whispered your need to leave, Jensen reluctantly withdrew his hand, nodding in quiet acceptance. His gaze followed you as you turned and hurried away. He stood there for a moment, watching your car pull out of the parking lot and drive off into the distance.
Jensen felt a mix of disappointment and understanding wash over him. He knew deep down that rushing things had pushed you away, yet he couldn't shake the regret of not being able to convey his feelings clearly enough. As you vanished from sight, he couldn't deny the ache in his chest, a testament to the depth of emotions you had stirred within him.
For the past two days, you had occupied his thoughts incessantly. Despite his attempts to distract himself, your presence lingered in his mind, haunting him with what-ifs and regrets. He had hoped that time would dull the intensity of his feelings, but instead, they had only grown stronger.
As the day wore on, Jensen found himself drowning his sorrows in a haze of alcohol with Jared. What had started as a casual drink had quickly escalated into a full-blown session of trying to forget, with each glass bringing a temporary reprieve from the ache in his heart.
The conversation between Jensen and Jared had meandered from the upcoming convention to more personal matters, inevitably circling back to you. Jared, ever the supportive friend, listened as Jensen poured out his frustrations and regrets about the encounter earlier that day.
“I saw her today”, Jensen slurred slightly, his voice tinged with melancholy. “Tried to talk to her… but it just went to shit again”.
Jared nodded sympathetically, his own words slightly slurred from the effects of alcohol. “Damn, man. I’m sorry it went down like that”.
“Yeah”, Jensen muttered, taking another sip of his drink. “Should’ve known better”.
Just then, Jensen’s phone buzzed on the table, breaking the heavy atmosphere of their conversation. He glanced at the screen and saw Danneel’s name flashing in the caller ID.
“Danneel’s calling”, Jensen announced. He sighed heavily before answering the call, barely able to say “Hi”, before Danneel launched into a tirade.
“Jensen! You were supposed to text the gardener to stop cutting the trees in the garden! I can’t believe you forgot again!”, Danneel’s voice came through loud and clear, filled with frustration.
Jared glanced over at Jensen, his eyebrows raised in concern as he listened to the one-sided conversation. He knew how intense Danneel could be when things didn’t go according to plan.
“Calm down”, Jensen tried to interject, but Danneel cut him off.
“No, I will not calm down! This is important!”, Danneel continued, her tone sharp and authoritative.
Jensen sighed again, running a hand through his hair in exasperation. He glanced at Jared apologetically, mouthing the words “Dee’s on a roll”.
“I’m sorry, okay? I’ll take care of it”, Jensen finally managed to say, his voice resigned.
Danneel huffed audibly on the other end of the line. “You better, Jensen!”, she retorted.
“I’ll handle it”.
“Good. Don’t mess this up again!”, Danneel warned sternly before hanging up abruptly.
Jared chuckled sympathetically, shaking his head as he leaned back in his chair. "Man, She´s really got you on a tight leash these days", he remarked, his tone half-joking but with a touch of genuine concern.
Jensen chuckled dryly, nodding in agreement. "Tell me about it. She's always been on top of things, but lately…". He trailed off, his expression reflecting a mix of frustration and fond exasperation.
"Yeah, she's definitely gotten bitchier over the years", Jared added quietly, trying to lighten the mood.
Jensen shot him a playful glare, though there was a hint of appreciation in his eyes. "Watch it, Padalecki", he teased in a mock-serious tone. "Or I might just let her loose on you next".
Jared chuckled again, taking a sip of his drink before leaning in with a conspiratorial grin. “You know, I sometimes wonder if Danneel´s secretly training for a role as a drill sergeant”, he teased lightly, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “I mean, she’s got the whole ‘command and conquer’ vibe down pat”.
Jensen let out a genuine laugh at that, appreciating Jared’s attempt to inject some humor into the situation. “You might be onto something there”, he replied, shaking his head.
Jared smirked playfully. “Yeah, just make sure she doesn’t take that whip and chains thing too literally”, he joked, winking.
Jensen snorted, nearly choking on his drink. “You’re not helping, man”, he managed to say between laughs, grateful for the distraction from his own thoughts.
Jared sighed, the laughter fading as he adopted a more serious tone. “You really need to think about ending things for real, Ackles”, he said quietly. “I actually talked to my lawyer earlier, and he said he’d be more than happy to take your case”.
Jensen’s smile faded, replaced by a look of resignation. He swirled his drink in his glass, staring at the amber liquid as if it held the answers to his problems. “I know”, he replied softly. “It’s just… complicated. There’s so much history, and the kids…”.
“I get it”, Jared interrupted gently. “But you’re miserable, man. It’s not just about you anymore. If you’re unhappy, the kids will pick up on that too. You deserve to be happy, and they deserve to see you happy”.
Jensen nodded slowly, absorbing Jared’s words. Deep down, he knew his friend was right. Living in limbo, trying to balance a failing marriage while navigating new feelings for someone else, wasn’t fair to anyone involved.
Jensen sighed deeply. He set his glass down on the table, the ice clinking softly as he considered Jared’s suggestion.
“Maybe talking to a lawyer wouldn’t be such a bad idea after all”.
Jared nodded in understanding, relieved that Jensen seemed open to taking a step towards resolving his situation. “It’s worth exploring your options”, he encouraged gently. “At least then you’ll know where you stand”.
Meanwhile, you sat alone at your kitchen table, absently pinching at your food with your fork. Guilt gnawed at you as you replayed the events with Jensen in your mind. He had tried to reach out, to apologize and explain, despite not deserving the treatment you had given him. Your thoughts and suspicions had clouded your judgment, painting Jensen in a negative light based on incomplete information.
"Maybe he's right", you whispered to yourself, pushing your food around on the plate without much appetite. "Maybe he isn't an asshole".
Jensen had shown vulnerability and sincerity, yet you had been quick to judge and dismiss him. The weight of regret settled in your chest, knowing you had acted rashly out of hurt and misunderstanding.
You recalled the look in Jensen's eyes, the genuine effort he had put into explaining himself. He didn't deserve to be treated with such skepticism, especially when he had been nothing but kind during your brief encounters.
"I should have given him a chance to explain", you murmured to yourself again.
You wondered if it was too late to reach out, to apologize for your assumptions and see where things could go from there.
You thought about it for a while, the internal debate raging between your sense of pride and your genuine desire to make things right. Eventually, the latter won out. Determined to apologize to Jensen and clear the air, you got dressed and headed to your car. Nervousness gnawed at you as you drove to Jared’s house. It was already 12 at night, and you weren’t sure if they would still be awake, but you felt compelled to go through with it.
When you arrived, you parked your car and took a deep breath before walking up to the front door. You rang the doorbell and waited anxiously, your heart pounding in your chest. After what felt like an eternity, the door finally opened, revealing Jared standing there with raised eyebrows, clearly surprised to see you.
“Hey”, Jared said, his tone a mix of curiosity and mild confusion.
You swallowed hard, feeling a bit out of place but determined to see this through. “Hi, Jared. I’m really sorry to bother you so late, but I… I need to talk to Jensen. Is he still awake?”.
Jared’s expression softened as he took in your anxious demeanor. He nodded and stepped aside to let you in. “Yeah, he’s here. We’ve been having a bit of a late night ourselves. Come on in”.
You followed Jared inside, your nerves only intensifying as you heard Jensen’s voice from the living room. Jared led you to where Jensen was sitting on the couch, a beer in hand. Jensen looked up, his expression shifting from surprise to a mix of curiosity and caution when he saw you.
Jensen wore grey sweatpants and a black hoodie, a stark contrast to the polished appearance he had presented earlier. Despite the casual attire and slightly messy hair, or perhaps because of it, he looked more attractive than ever. The sight made your heart pound even more.
“Hey”, Jensen said softly, sitting up straighter, his casual demeanor shifting to one of attentive curiosity. His eyes met yours with a mixture of surprise and anticipation.
You hesitated for a moment, feeling the weight of the situation, before finally speaking. “Do you have a moment?”, you asked, your voice trembling slightly.
Jensen nodded, his expression serious but welcoming. “Of course. Come on, sit down”.
You moved to the couch and took a seat next to him, the tension in the air palpable. Jensen watched you closely, his eyes reflecting a mix of concern and hope.
Jared sensed the need for privacy and quickly excused himself, saying, “I need to grab something from the garage. You two take your time”. With that, he left the room, leaving you alone with Jensen.
As you sat next to Jensen, the familiar scent of his cologne hit you, instantly making you feel nervous again. Memories of the way he had kissed and touched you in the pool flooded your mind, making your knees weak. You bit your lip and looked down, trying to steady your thoughts.
Jensen, sensing your hesitation, gently nudged your knee with his. “Hey, it’s okay”, he said softly, his voice filled with warmth. “Tell me what’s going on”.
If Jensen weren’t slightly drunk, he’d probably be just as nervous as you, but the alcohol gave him a semblance of calm. He watched you with a patient, encouraging expression, urging you to open up.
You took a deep breath, gathering your thoughts. “I’ve been thinking a lot about what happened”, you began, your voice shaky but determined. “About how I reacted and what I said. And… I realized I was unfair to you. I judged you without really understanding your situation, and I’m sorry for that”.
You continued, your voice barely above a whisper, “I had no right to be that bitchy. You’ve been nice to me from the start, and we’re not even together or anything. We just met, and I already caused so much drama, which usually isn’t me. It shouldn’t be an excuse for my behavior, but my emotions got the best of me”.
Jensen listened intently, his eyes never leaving yours. He could see the turmoil and sincerity in your expression, and it tugged at something deep inside him.
“The fact that I feel so drawn to you despite everything—your age, your relationship status, my own situation—it just made my mind blow up”, you admitted, feeling a weight lift off your shoulders as you spoke the truth. “I guess I didn’t know how to handle it, and I lashed out”.
Jensen sighed softly. “I get it”, he said gently. “Believe me, I do. This whole situation is a mess, and I didn’t handle it well either. I should have been more upfront about everything from the start”.
You whispered, barely audible, "I don’t know why there's such a pull, but I just can’t seem to stay away from you".
Jensen looked at you, his expression softening even more. He squeezed your hand gently, his voice low and sincere. He paused for a moment, searching for the right words to lighten the heavy atmosphere. "Must be my irresistible charm and good looks", he said with a half-smile, trying to inject a hint of humor to ease the tension.
You chuckled softly, appreciating his attempt to lighten the mood. "Yeah, that must be it", you replied with a playful grin, feeling a bit more at ease.
Jensen leaned closer, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, "Or maybe it's just that we're both a little crazy".
You laughed softly, feeling a warmth spread through you. "Maybe", you admitted, your eyes meeting his with a newfound sense of connection.
Jensen's gaze held yours, the unspoken understanding between you growing stronger with each passing moment.
A heavy silence settled between you both, each lost in your thoughts. Finally, you spoke up, breaking the tension. “So, what now?”.
Jensen sighed deeply, standing up from the couch. “I think the best thing right now is for me to get a coffee”, he admitted with a rueful smile. “I’m pretty drunk at the moment, and I want to be clear-headed for this conversation”.
You nodded, appreciating his honesty. “I’ll make us some”, you offered, rising to your feet, still remembering where the kitchen was.
As you made your way to the kitchen, Jensen followed closely behind. You could feel the weight of his presence, a mixture of comfort and tension. Once in the kitchen, you busied yourself with finding the coffee and setting up the machine, grateful for the distraction.
Jensen leaned against the counter, watching you with a thoughtful expression. “You know, I really didn’t expect to see you tonight”, he said quietly, his voice laced with vulnerability.
You glanced up at him, your hands pausing momentarily. “I wasn’t sure if I’d come either”, you admitted. “But I couldn’t stop thinking about how we left things”.
Jensen nodded, his gaze steady on yours. “I’m glad you did,” he said softly.
As the coffee machine hummed to life, filling the kitchen with the rich aroma of brewing coffee, you gathered your thoughts and looked up at Jensen. “Can I ask you something?”, you inquired softly, your eyes searching his for permission.
Jensen nodded, his expression earnest. “Of course. Ask me anything”.
You took a deep breath, feeling the weight of your question. “What exactly is going on with your marriage? You mentioned it was complicated, but… I need to understand”.
Jensen sighed deeply, running a hand through his hair as he considered his response. “It’s been a mess for a long time”, he began, his voice tinged with frustration and regret. “Danneel and I, we’ve grown apart over the years. We’re still together for the kids, and because… well, ending things is complicated too”.
You nodded slowly, absorbing his words. “So, you’re separated?”.
“Not officially”, Jensen admitted, his gaze dropping to the floor. “We live in the same house, well, sometimes… but we’re not… together. It’s like we’re just coexisting. And it’s hard, because I don’t want to hurt the kids. But at the same time, I can’t keep living like this”.
“That sounds indeed incredibly difficult”.
Jensen looked up, meeting your gaze. “It is… And then I met you, and it felt like… like a chance to feel something real again. But I didn’t handle it well".
The coffee machine beeped, signaling that it was ready. You turned to pour two cups, handing one to Jensen. “I’m sorry I jumped to conclusions”, you said softly.
Jensen took the cup of coffee from you, his fingers brushing yours briefly, sending a shiver down your spine. He took a long sip, savoring the warmth and the bitter-sweet taste, needing a moment to gather his thoughts.
You leaned against the kitchen counter opposite him, watching him intently, waiting for him to continue. His eyes met yours, a mixture of vulnerability and determination shining through.
Jensen took a deep breath, looking down at his coffee cup before meeting your gaze again. “I need to explain something about that day in the park”, he began, his voice steady but tinged with uncertainty. “The reason I kept looking around and why I couldn’t sit down in the café with you…”.
He paused, gathering his thoughts, then continued, “I’m an actor. Not like Channing Tatum famous, obviously, because you didn’t recognize me. But enough people know me that it can be a problem. So, maybe now you can understand why I can’t be seen with someone in public. Everyone thinks I’m happily married, so…”.
You nodded slowly, absorbing his words. “So, you were afraid of being seen with me and causing a scandal?”.
“Yeah, exactly. It’s complicated. I should have been upfront about it, but I didn’t want to scare you off or make things even more awkward”.
You took a deep breath, trying to calm the swirling thoughts in your mind and make sense of what Jensen had just revealed. His confession was a lot to process, especially since it would undoubtedly influence whatever was developing between the two of you. You swallowed, feeling a mix of understanding and apprehension.
Jensen could sense your tension, and he sighed heavily, his shoulders slumping slightly. “Yeah”, he murmured, his voice tinged with regret. “That’s why I didn’t say anything earlier. I didn’t want to complicate things further”.
You bit your lip, contemplating everything Jensen had just shared. The complexity of his situation weighed heavily on you, making it difficult to see a clear path forward.
Jensen, sensing your inner turmoil, mumbled, “Another dealbreaker, I know”. He rubbed his face with his hands, the frustration evident in his movements. “Sometimes, I wish I was just a normal person”.
You looked at him, seeing the vulnerability and the weight of his struggles etched on his face. It was clear that his life wasn’t as glamorous as it might seem from the outside. “I don’t think it’s a dealbreaker”, you said softly, surprising even yourself with your honesty. “It’s just… a lot to take in”.
Jensen met your gaze, hope flickering in his eyes. “I get it”, he said quietly. “And I don’t expect you to have all the answers right now. I just wanted you to know the truth”.
You nodded, feeling a strange mix of relief and confusion. “I appreciate that”, you replied, your voice steady.
A silence stretched between you as Jensen watched you, his gaze shifting back and forth from your eyes to your lips, capturing every subtle expression. There was a palpable tension, a mixture of hope and apprehension. Finally, he broke the silence with a question that seemed to come from a place deep within him.
“What is it about you?”, Jensen whispered, his voice rough with emotion. His eyes searched yours intently, seeking an answer, or perhaps understanding. “Why do you hold me so captive?”.
You were taken aback by the raw honesty in his question. It was clear he was grappling with his feelings, trying to make sense of the connection that had sprung up so unexpectedly between you. You took a moment to gather your thoughts, feeling the weight of his gaze.
“I’ve been asking myself the same thing”, you admitted, your voice soft. “There’s just something about you, Jensen. Something that feels… right, despite all the complications”.
Jensen’s brow furrowed slightly, as if he were trying to decipher a complex puzzle. “Do you think”, he started hesitantly, “do you think there’s a chance for us? I mean, can we find a way to make this work?”.
Jensen’s eyes widened slightly as he realized the weight of his words. Panic flickered across his face, and he quickly waved his hand dismissively. “Forget what I just said”, he mumbled, his voice filled with regret. “I’m drunk. I shouldn’t have—”.
But before he could finish his sentence, you found yourself unable to hold back any longer. Placing your mug on the counter with a soft clink, you stepped forward, closing the distance between you. Your hands moved instinctively to cup his face, and you gently pulled him down toward you.
Jensen’s breath hitched, and for a split second, he hesitated. But as your lips met his, all doubts melted away. The kiss was gentle at first, a tentative exploration, but quickly deepened as the emotions you had both been holding back surged to the surface.
His hands found your waist, pulling you closer as he responded with equal fervor.
The world around you dissolved as the kiss deepened, every touch and sensation heightened. Jensen’s lips were warm and insistent against yours, moving with a tenderness that belied the intensity of the emotions between you. You could feel his hesitation give way to a growing confidence as he pulled you closer, his hands firm and possessive on your waist.
Jensen’s tongue brushed gently against your lower lip, seeking entrance. Your lips parted instinctively, allowing him in, and the kiss became more urgent, more demanding.
The taste of him, mingled with the faint hint of the coffee you had both been drinking, was intoxicating. You could feel the heat rising between you, a pulsing, almost electric connection that seemed to burn away any lingering doubts or fears.
One of your hands slid up to the back of his neck, fingers threading through the soft hair there, while the other remained on his cheek, feeling the warmth of his skin under your touch. Jensen’s hands began to roam, moving from your waist to your back, pulling you even closer until there was hardly any space left between your bodies.
Before you could pull away, Jensen moved with a newfound urgency, turning the two of you until your back pressed against the cool surface of the kitchen island. With an effortless strength that made your heart race, he lifted you onto the countertop, bringing you to his eye level. The height difference between you no longer an obstacle, he stepped closer, his hands firmly gripping your hips and pulling you against him until your bodies were flush.
The sudden contact, the sensation of his firm body pressed against yours, sent a thrill through you. You could feel the heat of him through the thin fabric of your clothes, every point of contact sparking with an intense electricity. Jensen’s hands roamed from your hips to your back, holding you close as his kiss deepened, growing more passionate, more consuming.
Your fingers tangled in his hair as your lips and tongues continued their fervent dance.
Your legs instinctively wrapped around Jensen’s hips, pulling him even closer. The sensation of his half-hard length pressing against you through the fabric of your clothes made your breath hitch and your heart race. Every touch, every movement intensified the electric connection between you, leaving you both breathless and yearning for more.
Jensen’s hands continued to explore, his touch sending shivers down your spine. He groaned softly against your lips, the sound vibrating through you and deepening your desire. Your hands moved from his hair to his shoulders, clutching at him as if he were the only thing grounding you in that moment.
Jensen pulled back slightly, his breath ragged as he looked into your eyes. “Do you have any idea what you do to me?”, he murmured, his voice thick with desire.
Your eyes locked onto his, your voice barely a whisper as you replied, “Show me”.
With a growl of approval, Jensen captured your lips again, his kisses more urgent, more demanding. His hands roamed down your back, gripping your hips tightly as he rocked against you, his arousal evident and only fueling your own.
The intensity of the moment built, each touch, each kiss fanning the flames between you. It was as if nothing else existed, just the two of you lost in this whirlwind of passion and need. The kitchen island beneath you seemed to disappear as you surrendered completely to the overwhelming desire that had brought you together.
Jensen’s lips left yours, trailing hot, open-mouthed kisses down your neck, making you gasp and arch against him. The feel of his lips, his breath on your skin, was almost too much to bear, yet you couldn’t get enough. You wanted him, needed him, in a way that defied logic and reason.
“Jensen”, you breathed, your voice trembling with the depth of your need.
“I need you”, Jensen whispered, his voice low and hot against your neck. As he pressed his erection harder against your clothed pussy, a whimper escaped your lips, a sound that seemed to echo through the room. To Jensen, it was the most beautiful sound he had ever heard, and it fueled his desire even more.
His hands gripped your hips more firmly, pulling you impossibly closer as he continued to grind against you, the friction eliciting soft moans from both of you. You could feel the heat radiating from his body, and the intensity of the moment made your head spin.
Your hands roamed over his back, feeling the muscles tense and flex under your touch. You needed him as much as he needed you, and the urgency of your desire was palpable.
Jensen’s lips found yours again, kissing you with a desperate passion that matched your own. His tongue danced with yours, exploring and teasing, leaving you breathless and yearning for more.
Without breaking the kiss, Jensen’s hands slid under your shirt, caressing the soft skin of your back. The sensation sent shivers down your spine, and you arched against him, craving more of his touch.
He lifted you slightly, his hands moving to the waistband of your pants. With a deft movement, he unbuttoned them, his fingers brushing against your skin and making you gasp. The need to feel him closer, to have him inside you, was overwhelming.
Jensen lifted you off the counter and carried you to the couch, laying you down gently. His lips never left yours, the passion and intensity between you growing with every moment. Just as Jensen’s hands began to explore your body more intimately, the sound of a door opening and closing echoed through the house.
Suddenly, Jared’s voice rang out, louder than intended. “Oh, fuck!”, he exclaimed, his eyes wide with surprise. “I’m so sorry!”.
You both froze, the moment shattered by Jared’s unexpected entrance. Jensen quickly pulled away, a mixture of frustration and embarrassment on his face. You could feel your cheeks burning as you hurried to adjust your clothing, trying to regain some semblance of composure.
Jared stood awkwardly in the doorway, his eyes averted. “I, uh, didn’t realize… I mean, I’ll just… yeah, sorry”, he mumbled, backing out of the room hastily.
As the door closed behind Jared, an awkward silence settled between you and Jensen.
The two of you sat there in the aftermath of Jared’s interruption, the air thick with a mix of arousal, embarrassment, and the lingering desire that still pulsed between you. Jensen sat beside you on the couch, his gaze flickering between your eyes and your lips, his chest rising and falling with each heavy breath.
You could feel the heat radiating off his body, matching the flush in your cheeks as you tried to calm your racing heart. The intensity of the interrupted moment still hung in the air, a palpable reminder of how close you had been to something deeper and more intimate.
You looked down, your cheeks still flushed with the heat of the moment. “I’m sorry for kissing you”, you mumbled, feeling a mix of embarrassment and vulnerability.
Jensen chuckled softly, shaking his head. “Don’t be sorry”, he said, his voice filled with warmth and a hint of amusement. “You just did what I was too scared to do”. His gaze dropped to the very obvious bulge in his sweatpants, and he cursed under his breath, a mix of frustration and self-deprecating humor.
You couldn’t help but smile at his reaction, feeling a little of the tension ease away. “Well, then I’m glad I did", you admitted, your voice still soft but filled with sincerity. “But maybe Jared did us a favor. We should probably take things a bit slower”.
Jensen nodded in agreement, his eyes meeting yours once more. “Yeah, you’re right”, he said, his tone serious but gentle. “There’s a lot to figure out, and I don’t want to rush this… Whatever this is”.

1st Day of Christmas
A Sneaky Christmas Surprise
Summary/Prompt - “Did you break into my house??” “You refused to put up any Christmas decorations! What choice did I have?”
Pairing - Jensen Ackles x Reader
Christmas Masterlist | Masterlist
A/N: Here we go! Day 1! Let’s hope I can keep this up for the next 24 days! I hope you enjoy this.
You’ve been working as a makeup artist on the set of Supernatural for a few years now. Being so well versed in the talent of creating realistic bruises and bloody scars anyone would assume your favourite holiday is Halloween, but it’s actually Christmas. You love sappy Christmas movies, carols and most of all decorating. You’d just been counting down the days until it became socially acceptable to erect your tree. As soon as Thanksgiving weekend finished you had it out of the box and in pride of place by the widow covered in sparkling lights and beautiful ornaments. You would’ve had it up earlier if your boyfriend hadn’t threatened to stop sleeping over if you put it up any earlier than that. You love him, he is the sweetest and most caring boyfriend you’ve ever had, but his Christmas spirit tends to lack a little. But this year you’re determined to get him in the spirit.
You’re awakened from your reverie by a knock on the makeup trailer door and then the familiar creek of the metal hinges. Then two strong familiar arms wrap around your middle from behind.
“Hey Sexy. You ready to head out?” he asks in his deep, Dean voice.
You turn around in his arms and notice he’s still fully in costume. “Sorry, Dean. I already have a date. Let’s see if we can’t find him somewhere in here,” you tease as you reach for a makeup wipe to clean off the intricate SFX makeup you applied earlier. A few wipes later you start to recognise Jensen as himself again. As a final touch, you drag your hands through his short hair to loosen up the gel and soften the look. You take a step back and admire your work. “Yep, there he is.”
“You know, Jared gets jealous he has to scrub off his own makeup. But I just tell him it’s his own fault for picking an actress instead of a makeup artist.”
“Don’t be mean. Gen is lovely, and Jared can come here anytime and I’ll do it for him too if he wants.”
“No way. This is my special service, plus I know you don’t get paid to stay here late like this.”
“I thought what we did back at your place last night was your special service. And you know it isn’t about the money, I love what I do here.”
“I know you do. That’s one of the things I love about you. Come on, at least let me buy you dinner and then we can go back to my place for some of that other special service.”
You throw the dirty wipes in the bin and then grab his hand urging him to stand up. Once he does you shut off the lights, lock up the trailer and walk hand-in-hand out to his car. He drives to your favourite local takeout place while you both share stories about your day.
Once you’ve picked up dinner he drives back to his apartment. You generally love his place; it’s so much bigger and more spacious than yours with an amazing view. The only thing that makes it lose its appeal is that it’s never festive for any holiday. You’ve always lived in Vancouver so your apartment is your home whereas you know he doesn’t see Vancouver as home; his apartment is just a place he crashes while he works. His true home is Austin, Texas. But you’re determined to spread and share a little Christmas joy with him before you inevitably part ways for the holidays once filming finishes.
What he doesn’t know is that you had a little spare time today, as you were only needed on set in the morning, and you only came back to keep up a facade. So you snuck his car and house keys from his trailer and went on a little Christmas shopping spree before going back to his place to give your purchases a new home. You were very happy and proud of what you managed to accomplish in such a short time and on your own. And it makes coming over to see his reaction all the more exciting.
As he pulls into his driveway you have to try really hard to contain your excitement and nerves; you know you’re not the best actor. You have no idea how Jensen can just turn into a completely different person in an instant when you struggle to keep a poker face to contain little white lies. You hold the bag of food while you wait for him to come around and open your door so he can take it. He takes the food and helps you get out before passing the food back so he can unlock the door. As he flicks on the lights he notices the big fibre optic tree by the window, and little ornaments carefully and strategically scattered around the place.
He turns to you as you join him inside. “Was this you? Did you break into my apartment?”
You nod sheepishly. “You refused to put up any Christmas decorations, what choice did I have?”
He takes the food and places it on the kitchen bench before pulling you into his arms for a tight hug. “It looks great, Sweetheart. But you could have just asked, I would’ve helped.”
You shake your head. “You already said you didn’t see the point because this isn’t your home.”
“Here with you, it’s starting to feel more like home every day. I spend more time here than in Texas now. There’s a lot we need to discuss, but first, I’m starving!”
He kisses you and then pulls away to gather plates, cups and cutlery while you spread out the food. You dish out the food onto the two plates, while he pours some wine into the glasses and then takes them over to the coffee table. He sits on the couch and starts flicking through the channels while waiting for you to bring the food. You go through this routine almost nightly in either your or his apartment. You know that’s one of the many things you need to discuss, but right now you just want to enjoy a sappy Christmas movie and some yummy dinner with your boyfriend in his now festive apartment.

“Help me understand,” you implore.
The first domino to set off the chain reaction was in the form of a famous and beautiful actress, Mae Nova, sliding into Jensen’s DM’s—a very detailed offer with an accompanying photo that you saw by no fault of your own. How is irrelevant. Why is the issue. Why didn’t he delete it or immediately set her straight?
“You’re the one that wanted this, Jay,” you say when he remains silent. “You're the one who pursued me, convinced me we should try and turn the ten years of friendship into something more.”
“I know.” He sighs, pushing a hand through his longer hair. “And I don’t regret a second of the last six months we’ve been together…” he doesn’t say it; however, the ‘but’ demands attention like a flickering light.
“But you're having second thoughts?”
“No!” he denies vehemently, finally looking you in the eye. “Don’t put words in my mouth.”
“Well, one of us has to!”
He shakes his head, exhaling loudly. “I’m sorry,” he repeats, sounding like a broken record. His heart rate is running high, and his chest heaves with every breath, but his vocabulary appears to be running low.
You tsk, fighting back a scathing comment about needing a script writer to make him talk. But it wouldn’t be fair. He’s not a man who runs from his emotions. He’s just trying to make sense of it all like you are. You have to remind yourself he’s not Dean Winchester. He doesn’t look much like him anymore either; longer hair, beard growing almost wildly, no plaid in sight in the Soldier Boy wardrobe at the back of the fancy trailer.
Is that where the lines blurred? Working together for so long on Supernatural, have you both confused the other for your characters and their feelings toward the other?
“You can stop saying your sorry. I forgive you,” you say, and he turns a watery gaze your way. It almost breaks your resolve, but you realize it’s down to you to be the strong one. “I just need to understand why? Why didn’t you reply and tell her you're in a relationship? You’ve done it a hundred times before.”
“I don’t know.”
To make matters worse, Mae had landed a role on The Boys and would be working alongside Jensen.
“Jensen, you spent fifteen years of your life devoted to Supernatural, ten of those with me around. I think you were scared of the end, afraid of losing such a big part of yourself.”
“I was,” he agrees, in a whisper as if you speaking the words is the reason for his realization of it being the truth.
“Maybe us being together was a knee-jerk reaction?” you suggest, “a way to cling onto the past.” You take a deep breath, and your chest tightens as if begging yourself not to say the next part. “Maybe you need a clean break, see what the world looks like without Supernatural… without me.”
“What? No.” He looks offended but can’t hold eye contact and doesn’t offer anything further.
You can’t keep going around in circles, so you make a decision, sitting down at the small table and firing up your laptop.
“What’re you doing?” he asks, rushing to look over your shoulder, perhaps worried you’ll take it upon yourself to reply to the woman. “Searching for flights back home?” Jensen says, panic clear in his tone. Harshly he slams the laptop shut, and you look up at him. “You can’t leave.”
“Give me a reason to stay.”
“Me, us!” he yells, “we can work this out.”
You stand up and gently press your lips to his. Jensen’s hand automatically goes to the small of your back, guiding you around the chair to better press himself against you.
The kiss is natural and unhurried, but there’s too much tension in his body, and you know it’s because he feels it, too. This is your last kiss.
A little breathless, you pull back. “I don’t wanna fight, Jensen.”
“Me neither.”
“So let me be the bad guy,” you say, heart aching but trying to hold it together. “Let me walk away before the wound is too big to save our friendship.”
He grimaces as if tasting something bitter but nods once, “I’m sorry.”
It’s been a long day. All Jensen wanted to do was take a shower and crash, but Karl convinced him to go for dinner with the cast and crew.
The conversation is light, everyone enjoying their food and making small talk. It’s nice enough, but it’s incomplete because you're not there.
He wishes it was you beside him instead of Mae. The seating arrangements have no rhyme or reason. It just happened that way. But still, he almost resents that she’s the one next to him. So much has happened in the weeks since he last saw you. He wants to share it all with you, and wants to know how you are - if you’re struggling with his absence as much as he is with yours.
“Okay there, Ackles?” Jack asks, “You're a world away.”
“Yeah,” he lies, sitting up straighter and smiling. “Just thinking…”
Karl must know the look of a man missing his significant other because he asks, “About your girl?”
“Yeah,” Jensen admits, sighing heavily. He hasn't told anyone you broke up, and there’s been no speculation in the tabloids.
“Tell us about her. You never did tell us about your first date,” Jack says, “we all know you met on Supernatural, but not the story of your first date.”
Jack’s an awesome guy, sweet and kind, he doesn’t know the reminder is like a kick in the teeth, but Jensen obliges.
Jensen hurried across the lot, a coffee in each hand, the brown paper bag containing two cinnamon rolls dangling from his mouth. He was late, and Jared would give him shit for it, but it would be worth whatever Jared threw at him if it improved your morning.
Your latest Instagram post was a photo of a fly swimming in your coffee with the caption: “It was my last coffee pod. This just topped off a crappy weekend😭. #HappyMonday”. You were one hundred percent a coffee snob. You made it in a particular way using a fancy - and stupidly expensive - machine. You wouldn’t settle for the coffee on set. You’d rather go without. However, Jensen knew when you didn’t get her morning beverage, you’d be grumpy all day, and he hated to see you without a smile.
He headed for the makeup trailer, knowing that’s where you’d be. He kicked the bottom of the door gently as a way of knocking, then waited.
He didn’t expect Jared to be the one to open it. He wasn’t due in makeup for another half-hour, but his lanky frame filled the space of the open door. “Look who decided to show up,” Jared jeered playfully.
“Shut up,” Jensen mumbled around the bag, walking past him.
You were already there, looking through clothes on the rack, but stopped to smile at him. “Morning, Jay.”
“Here,” he said, handing over the coffee that was for you. “Hi, hey, morning.”
Confusion wrinkled your brow, but you took it. “Um, thanks.”
“I saw your Instagram, and I know how cranky you get without your coffee, and you said you had a shit weekend, so I wanted to try and make it better,” Jensen vomited words without thinking. “I don’t like seeing you upset, and you’ve been down a lot lately, and I just thought maybe this would help, some, a little, maybe.” Breathlessly he shrugged and prayed the floor would open up and swallow him.
Your smile beamed, and you lifted the cup to your nose, inhaling the aroma, and hummed contentedly, “Mmm. You even got my order right,” you said and stepped closer to him to place a kiss on his cheek.
“That’s cause you're always posting about it on social media,” quipped Jared.
You tutted, rolling your eyes at your co-star but kept your eyes locked on Jensen. Dropping back down from your tiptoes, you said, “Thank you for this. It means a lot that you thought of me.”
“It’s nothing,” he lied. It was everything, and as your kiss dried on his cheek, it reminded him of your evening plans. “I know you’ve got a long day ahead, especially with your date later.”
As part of a charity event, you had agreed that they auction off a date with you. The auction had been silent, so you had no idea who had hired you for the night. Though the studio had assured you they had vetted the winner, you’d asked that he and Jared be in the bar next door in case of emergency.
“Oh god,” you groaned, “don’t remind me. I wish I never agreed to that stupid silent auction.”
“Ah, don’t be such a downer,” Jared said, winking. “You never know. He might be the man of your dreams.”
Oh god, I hope not. Jensen thought. He’d already had to watch you be in a relationship with Chad, a man who neither deserved you nor treated you well. He couldn’t bear to watch you be with someone else again. He wanted to be next in line, and he would treat you as you should be, like a Queen. He just needed to work up the courage to tell you.
“I doubt it,” you sighed, and Jensen swore your eyes flicked to him and away again. “Besides, who said it’s a man who hired me?”
“C’mon, you two,” Zara, the makeup artist, said, waving them toward the door, “out! I’ve got to get this one ready.”
Amongst a chorus of goodbyes, Jared and Jensen left. “What is it with you when you’re around her?” Jared asked as soon as the trailer door was closed. “You’re a bumbling idiot, and she’s starting to notice.”
“What?”
“Yeah, she asked me what’s wrong with you. Thinks she’s done something wrong ‘cause you either avoid her or barely speak to her.”
“I know, man,” Jensen groaned, scrubbing a hand down his face. “Ever since you put it out there that we could be more than friends, I can't stop thinking about it. I don’t want to blurt it out at the wrong time, so I try to be careful about what I say, but I just end up tripping over myself.”
Jared clapped him on the back, “You just need to fake some of that Dean Winchester confidence.”
“Maybe.”
“You better find a way to be around her ‘cause you’ve got a date with her tonight.”
“What?”
“The silent auction,” Jared explained, “I paid for the date with her for you.”
“Jared, what? No!”
“I think Gen will have an issue if I show up for a date with her, and are you really going to leave her sitting on her own?”
“No, but Jared, I can’t,” Jensen panicked, “I’m going to make a fool of myself.”
“You’re an actor. Just act normal.” Jared suggested before walking off.
Seeing you through the restaurant window, Jensen wanted to hug Jared so tight to thank him he’d crack a rib. But he also wanted to punch him so damn hard in the arm it’d be limp for a week. Why had he agreed to this? Okay, he hadn’t agreed. He’d totally freaked out, drank two beers, took three shots of whiskey, and then forced himself into the waiting car.
He was going to mess this up. He knew it. He was a fumbling, mumbling idiot around you, and dread settled firmly in his gut as he watched you scanning the menu. He regretted the whiskey and allowing Jared to talk him into this.
He swore he was having an out-of-body experience as his feet took him closer to you. You glanced up when he got to the side of the table, and your face glowed with a smile. “Come to check in on me?” you asked, rising and pulling him into a hug.
He held you a little tighter than he usually would, savoring the moment before releasing you and taking a seat. “Not exactly checking up on you,” he said, “this wasn’t my idea, but Jared brought you for me.”
“What?”
“The silent auction, Jared was the highest bidder.”
Confusion took over your features. “Why would he do that? I mean not that I’m not grateful, I’d much rather be here with you, but I don’t understand.”
He realized it was now or never. “‘Cause he knows how I feel about you,” he admits, holding his breath for a reaction.
“Care to elaborate?” you ask after a long silence.
“The truth is, I like you... a lot.”
“I like you too.”
“No,” he shook his head, “you don’t get it. I cherish our friendship and don’t want to lose it, but it's more than that. My feelings for you go beyond friendship, and I want to see if we could be more.”
“I was so nervous,” Jensen chuckles. “I felt like I was auditioning for the rest of my life.” he contemplates it for a moment, “maybe I was.”
“Well then, it’s good she reciprocated,” Karl laughs.
“It took her a minute,” Jensen remembers, “but yeah, she came around.”
Your phone rings as you slot the key into your door’s lock. You’re juggling coffee, a pile of scripts to read, dry cleaning, and a bag of groceries. You have no hope of answering without dropping everything, so leave it to ring. You assume it’s Jared checking in on you after seeing the photos on TMZ. Jensen and Mae were pictured at a restaurant in Ontario.
The phone stops as you enter the kitchen and set everything down on the countertop.
Gen had already checked in to make sure you were okay, and you’d been anticipating a call from Jared to yet again invite you out to the set of Walker to meet one of the crew he was insistent you’d “hit it off with.” You’d politely declined, having already been on a date that had been pleasant and ended with a goodnight kiss, but you’d told the Padalecki’s it had left you feeling guilty as if you were cheating on Jensen. You needed time to let that feeling pass and allow the wound to heal completely.
You set about emptying the bags of groceries, and your phone rings again. You shuffle the contents of your bag, looking for the device, sure that it will cut off to voicemail before you find it.
“Hello,” you answer, pressing it to your ear.
“Hey.”
Jensen’s voice freezes you to the floor, and you hold your breath. It’s been more than a month since you left him in his trailer, and you’ve only exchanged a few text messages. Why is he calling now? Does he want to be the one to confirm that he and Mae are together?
He says your name when your silence stretches.
“Um, yeah. Hey, hi,” you say, clearing your throat to rid yourself of the shock.
“You sound out of breath,” he notes, “is this a bad time?”
“No, no, I just wasn’t expecting it to be you,” you explain, “caught me off guard.”
“Who were you expecting?” he asks, sounding accusatory.
“Jared,” you sneer, unable to stop the ire you feel.
“Sorry,” he says, and the apology tightens your jaw with the frustration it evokes. “I should have called sooner.”
“I haven’t called you either.”
No one is to blame for the lack of communication. You both needed some space, so you were both right not to call.
Neither of you speaks for a moment, and you debate whether to tell him you're busy so you can end the call and be done with the awkwardness. But he obviously put his awkwardness aside to call, so you might as well rip the stitches out and reopen the wound if that's what this is about.
“Why are you calling now?”
“I need you to know that me and Mae aren’t together,” he says, firm and direct.
You try to interrupt, “Jensen, it’s fine.” but he determinedly continues.
“The picture they posted was cropped,” he explains. “The whole cast and some of the crew were there. The photo made it look like it was just the two of us, and that’s not the truth.”
“Even if it was, it’s okay.” It’s not okay, and from the moment you saw it, you’ve felt nauseous. Still, you assure him, “You’re free to do what you want. You don’t owe me an explanation.”
He sighs, and you can hear the scowl in his tone, “It’s important to me that you know.”
You think it’s sweet that he’s taking the time to explain himself, even if it’s not what you expected. But Mae was never the problem. The situation she presented only shone a light into the crack that you had both been ignoring. Yet the information that Jensen has shared is a welcomed relief in the wake of the storm, but it’s just the eye. More questions are coming, questions that will likely only cause more hurt and confusion.
“Why?” you ask, “why do you want me to know?”
“Because I wanted it to be you next to me…” he pauses.
You're not sure if he wants you to say something or read between the lines, but you can’t let yourself trust the spark of hope that jabs your heart like a pinprick.
“Even if we’re just friends,” he adds.
That pinprick pierces the thin shell you’d managed to build, and it feels like a thousand jagged pieces of glass lacerate your heart, and you chew your top lip to stop the emotion from escaping in a sob.
There’s a loud bang on his end of the line, and someone calls out, “We’re ready on set, Mr. Ackles.”
“I gotta go,” he says.
“Okay,” you say, and immaturely add, “Bye, buddy,” before hanging up.
The party has been a monumental success. You helped Gen, along with a professional party planner, to pull it off.
“So you really had no idea?” You ask Jared once everyone seems to have greeted him and wished him a very happy fortieth birthday. Technically it's not his birthday for another four hours, but the surprise party had needed that early element to make sure it went off without a hitch.
“None,” Jared says, smiling. “I was fully prepared to fly home tomorrow to spend my birthday with Gen and the kids. I was looking forward to it, actually. I didn’t want a big fuss,” he chuckles, looking around the room, “but I’m glad you helped Gen make a fuss. It’s nice to see all the old faces.”
“Not all of them,” you note sourly, commenting on Jensen’s absence. “He wanted to be here, but you know how tight filming schedules can be.”
“I know,” he nods with a tight, sad smile. “It would have been good to see him. For me, at least.”
“Don’t.”
“It’s my birthday. I’m allowed,” he teases.
“It would have been nice to see him,” you agree before Jared can start in on the lecture. “I think. I don’t know. It’s weird and painful, and maybe I'm better off not seeing him until it’s not weird and painful.”
He laughs, pulling you into a hug. “Sounds like you have it all under control.”
“Absolutely.”
You mingle with old friends from Supernatural and new friends from the Walker set. The crew member, a camera operator named Vince, is as cute as Jared promised him to be, and you find yourself tucked in a corner talking with him as the night continues.
You hear the cheerful reunion before you see it. People applaud and shout greetings as Jensen crosses the room and embraces Jared in a tight hug. They hug for a long time, whispered words exchanged between brothers, and you see Jared’s eyes tear up. His night is complete now that Jensen is here.
A few people greet Jensen with hugs and shakes of his hand, but his eyes never seem to focus on them. He distractedly looks around them and seems disappointed when he sees the next person waiting to greet him.
You mostly manage to keep your focus on Vince, but you can see Jensen in your peripheral. You don’t react, but you notice when he finds you. He stares for a long moment, maybe hoping you’ll feel his eyes on you and look at him, but you don’t, and he doesn’t approach.
You're doing nothing wrong, but an uneasiness sneaks up on you. It’s not that you feel like you're somehow betraying Jensen. It’s that you're betraying yourself by denying how you feel. It wouldn’t be fair to start anything with anyone new right now. They’d be a rebound.
Vince seems to notice your focus has shifted and politely parts ways with you.
You spy Jensen across the room, catching up with Brianna, and head for the bar, needing something more potent than wine to make it through the rest of the night.
If possible, Jensen seems to have grown broader, arm muscles bulky beneath the material of his shirt, and you're definitely a fan of the Soldier Boy look. He looks good with a now-trimmed beard and long hair. The sight sends an ache of loneliness through your chest, remembering how it felt to be wrapped in those arms.
A shot turns into two, and when the bartender steps away to refill your wine glass, you feel the air next to you shift. You don’t have to turn to see who it is, the cologne gives him away, and as it arrests your senses, he nudges his shoulder into yours. The familiar heat of his body makes your chest tighten. You so desperately want to turn and embrace him, but you know your fragile emotions would crumble under the weight.
“Whiskey, neat,” he tells the bartender, his voice deep and gruff. He turns his body towards you, one arm resting on the bar, and you sip your drink, silently wishing it was hard liquor again instead of wine.
“Hey,” he says when you don’t look at him.
“Hi,” you respond blandly.
“How are you? You look good.”
“So do you. Really. You look incredible,” you say, without actually looking him in the eyes.
“I hate having to do the diet and exercise thing, though,” he chuckles, “it was so much easier when all I had to do was wear flannel.”
You laugh, but it's bittersweet because everything was easier when he was wearing flannel. “How’s it all going? Stepping into the shoes of a new character?”
“Daunting, but fun.” Jensen talks, and you do all you can to listen and engage but can’t bring yourself to fully meet his eyes.
He says your name so delicately it feels like a caress that sends a shiver through you. You close your eyes and know what he’s asking before he pleads, “Please look at me.”
His eyes have always been mesmerizing, and you know if you gaze into them, the spell will be cast, and there will be no escaping him, even when he’s miles away again. He waits for a beat, but your eyes remain firmly shut, and he closes the space between you, demanding attention.
His exhale wafts through your hair. It’s too close because it's not close enough, and you feel the heartache rising in your chest.
“It was good to see you, Jensen,” you flash a smile in his general direction, picking up your glass.
“Wait,” he says, grabbing your wrist as you turn your back to him. “Don’t leave.”
You freeze in place and turn to look at his hand cuffing your wrist. Slowly you raise your gaze from his hold to his face, preparing yourself for the enchantment of his eyes, but his sad expression is downcast. His chest heaves with a deep breath before he finally looks at you, despondence turning to tentative hope.
“I know I should have said it back then, but I’m saying it now.” His voice is nearly a whisper beneath the muted conversation and ambient music, but it’s clear as a bell to your ears. “Please, don’t leave.”
You turn back to face him, and he takes two deep breaths before he finds the words.
“The last couple of months, I’ve been miserable without you.” He admits, “I’ve had to fight myself to eat, to work out, to do anything that didn’t involve staying in my trailer with a bottle of whiskey. I know that things are weird, but I realized my hesitance had nothing to do with the ending of Supernatural. Yes, I was scared. But I was scared of how easy it was with you, how much I cared for you, how quickly I realized that I am head over heels in love with you.”
You choke out his name as tears well in your eyes, and he steps forward to swipe the first droplet from your cheek.
“I was ready to tell you I’m in love with you, and you were booking flights home,” the heartache of the reminder dims the light behind his eyes, and he drops his gaze to battle whatever emotion he’s feeling. “That scared me more than anything. I didn’t want to say it in the heat of the moment or on the phone, and I was terrified you didn’t feel the same. It doesn’t matter if you don’t. I need you to know that I love you.”
You don’t have words, unexpectedly wishing you had a script so you don’t say something stupid. Then, just as surprisingly, you realize you don’t need words. You take a half step forward and kiss him. Jensen responds immediately, a hand caressing your cheek and drawing you closer as the other slips around your waist to tug you flush against him.
You tangle your fingers in his hair, and he groans into your mouth. His kiss gets you drunker than any alcohol ever could, and after a moment that could have been a minute or an hour, you feel lightheaded.
Jensen chases you as you pull back, placing swift kisses on your lips and pressing his head against yours.
“Damn, I’ve missed you,” you sigh.
“Well, don’t get used to it,” he says, “I’m never letting you leave me again.”

Chapter 4: Has reference to Episode 4 "Metamorphosis"
The set of "Supernatural" hummed with controlled chaos as cameras rolled for Season 4, Episode 4. You stood in Raven's dark attire, poised for an intense scene with Gen portraying Ruby.
"Sam, we can’t trust her! Ruby literally just slashed that man in half for no reason. What if she was the one to hurt Jack? What if she just wants to use you?" You delivered your lines with unwavering focus.
"Then let her use me, Raven. Besides, who’s to say you’re not just using me and Dean?" Sam retorted.
"Sammy!" Dean stepped between Sam and Raven, with Ruby slyly standing behind Sam. "I don’t need this, Sam. You want my help or not?" Ruby asked, tension palpable.
"Not," Dean stated firmly, just as Sam chimed in with, "We need it," creating a clash of opinions.
Sam and Dean glared at each other. Raven crossed the room as the men continued their standoff, Sam expressing remorse to Dean and Dean furrowing his brows, trying to sway Sam to his side.
“You use unspeakable methods,” Raven's voice lowered to a dangerous tone as she backed Ruby against the wall, inches from her face. “To hurt innocent people. For what? I don’t know what you’re hiding. I don’t know what you’re up to, but I promise, I’ll find out, bitch.” Ruby smirked, a corner of her mouth twitching.
Just as the scene's intensity peaked, the air fractured with Dee's unexpected arrival. She reached Gen on set and grabbed her arm, yanking her to her side. Heads turned, whispers rippled through the crew.
"The hell is this?! Jensen?" The director yelled, cutting the scene.
Jensen stepped between you, Dee, and Gen, looking Dee dead in the eyes. “Dee, LEAVE.”
Dee's voice cut through the set like a jagged blade. "Jensen, you don’t answer my calls, my texts. You don’t come home, and it’s like you’re hiding something from me!"
“I’m not hiding anything from you. We’re over.” Jensen turned to gently guide you off set.
“Are you sleeping with HER?” Dee mocked. “This… This… Ha! MOOOOOOO.” The cast and crew gasped. Gen stepped away from Dee, looking disappointed.
You froze, embarrassment flaming your cheeks as guilt tingled under your skin. You looked back at Jensen, feeling his hand no longer on your back. He had turned towards Dee. Jared stepped in front of him, grasping his shoulders.
"Hey, calm down, man," Jared whispered.
"He just needed a rebound girl, Y/N. He doesn't love you, you cow." Dee's words, sharp and accusatory, pierced the air, amplifying the tension.
Jensen, visibly distressed, attempted to diffuse the situation, his voice strained but firm. "Dee, we've been over this. I left you. We’re done. If I ever see you on set again, I’ll get a restraining order." His gaze warned her to stop amidst the chaos. Jensen was shaking, fists clenched. He wouldn’t hit a girl, would he? You thought to yourself.
The disruption threw the filming into disarray. Security arrived to diffuse the situation before Dee could respond. Your heart raced, caught between shame and indignation as Dee's accusations cast shadows over the day.
You locked your trailer after Dee's confrontation, turning off your phone and sinking into the quiet. A few people knocked, but eventually left you to fall asleep with your thoughts and tears, tearing yourself apart with self-doubt. The next morning, the set buzzed with its usual activity, but you felt like an outsider looking in, everyone's gaze making you feel smaller by the minute.
Overwhelmed by the drama and the impact on the production, you made a difficult decision. You approached the director's office, heart heavy with dread.
“Hey, can we talk privately?” you asked in a small voice, knocking on the open door.
“Sure. Close the door.” The director said, navigating his cluttered office, concern already on his face. “What’s up?”
"I can't play Raven anymore," you said, your voice steady despite the turmoil inside, threatening to leak from your eyes.
The director looked up, sadness replacing the concern on his features. "Y/N, I know tensions were high yesterday, but are you going to let your personal life and your professional career conflict each other? We could work something out if you just need a break."
You took a deep breath, considering his words carefully. The weight of everything—the accusations, the embarrassment, and the constant tension—was too much to bear. "I need to do this for my own sanity," you finally replied, passing him some papers with information on your updated address.
The director sighed, leaning back in his chair. "Alright, Y/N. If that's what you need, I’ll inform the cast and crew. Best of luck.”
You nodded, tears escaping and falling off your cheeks as you stood. "Thank you for understanding."
As you opened the door and stepped out to leave, you turned around. “Could you do me one favor? Tell who you absolutely need to, but please don’t tell Jensen where I’ve gone. I need to leave this behind me.”
He nodded in agreement after pondering your request.
As you walked away, you felt the weight of your decision settle in.
The production office buzzed with urgency as news of your departure rippled through the set. The director wasted no time informing the crew and a few key cast members about the repercussions of you leaving the show, making sure to imply that it was confidential. Writers got to work immediately, drafting new scripts to explain Raven's sudden disappearance in case they couldn't find a replacement quickly. The director worked tirelessly with the casting director, scrambling to find someone to fill the role. Unfortunately, everyone they had considered before you was now unavailable. _____
Jensen was called into the showrunners' office, the tension palpable.
"Jensen, your behavior on and off set is putting everything at risk," one of the showrunners began sternly. "I shouldn’t be telling you this, because frankly, it’s none of your goddamn business. Y/N has quit. Every possible replacement is now unavailable and needs to be resolved, and fast."
Jensen felt a knot tighten in his stomach. She left? Already? He knew he couldn’t see you after yesterday’s events because you probably wouldn’t have even talked to him, and he couldn’t blame you. The things Dee said were downright childish and awful. But he thought he’d at least have time to talk to you today.
The ruminations from yesterday repeated in Jensen’s head as he zoned out of the conversation at hand. The showrunner exchanged a glance with his colleague before continuing. "Pay attention, son," he said, breaking Jensen’s thoughts. "If we don't find a solution soon, we're looking at a significant production halt. The schedule and budget are already taking a hit. This is your responsibility to resolve or kiss your career goodbye."
Jensen's heart pounded. He wasn’t sure how he was going to do it but said, "I’ll fix this."
Leaving the office, Jensen tried to call you. “Hey, you’ve reached Y/N. I can’t get to my phone right now…” He hung up. “Damn it,” he whispered to himself. __________
The weight of recent events hung heavy as you quickly packed a bag, your mind made up to leave without informing anyone of your whereabouts. Changing your phone number was a necessary step; even the few texts you received were enough to set your anxiety ablaze. With a deep breath, you booked the first flight out of Vancouver to Washington, craving the solitude you hoped to find at your mother's home.
The flight was a blur of muted colors and soft hums, your thoughts too loud to allow for rest. At the airport, your mother waited with a stern expression, her eyes scanning you critically as you approached. The ride home was anything but quiet.
"You were supposed to do something with your life," she berated, her voice slicing through the tense silence. "You couldn't even keep your husband and kids alive, and now THIS. What the hell am I going to do with you now?"
Her words stung, each one a reminder of past pains and present failures. You looked out the window, letting her voice fade into the background as the familiar landscapes of Washington passed by.
The house came into view, a serene, isolated sanctuary surrounded by tall trees and blooming flowers. It was a place that could offer solace, despite the toxic presence of your mother. You took in the sight of the old home, the quiet beauty of it almost at odds with the turmoil inside.
Inside, the air was cool and still. Your room, untouched since your last visit, welcomed you with a kind of melancholic familiarity. The walls, painted in soft purple hues, offered a stark silence enveloping you like a comforting blanket.
For a moment, you stood there, allowing yourself to breathe, to feel. The memories of the set, the confrontation with Dee, and the harsh words from your mother swirled around you. Tears welled up again, even though it felt like you had nothing left to shed. You sat on the bed, briefly glancing at the end table. There, a photo of your last family picture with your late husband and kids sat. You fell to your knees. “What am I doing?! How did I let myself get so lost?” you whispered as you covered your face in your hands.
Your mother’s footsteps echoed down the hallway, a reminder of the challenges that still lay ahead. But for now, this quiet room wasn’t much, but it was a start.
You manage to crawl up on the bed, turning the photo face down. You closed your eyes, letting the silence wash over you into slumber.
You awaken the next morning to the abrupt sound of your mother’s voice, sharp and unforgiving. The sun wasn’t even up yet as the clock read 4:17. She slams a tabloid and a printout on your bed, the noise jarring you fully awake.
"Look at this," she sneers, her eyes cold. "Can't even stay out of trouble, can you?"
Blinking away sleep, you sit up and glance at the tabloid headlines. The words leap off the page, each one more hurtful than the last. "Disgraced Actress," "Scandalous Affair," "Homewrecker" – the list goes on. Your heart sinks as you skim through the articles, each one painting you in the worst possible light. The term "whore" is used liberally, as if it’s the only thing that defines you now.
"I can’t believe they’d print this," you quietly mutter to yourself, the weight of the accusations pressing down on your chest.
Your mother scoffs, her eyes narrowing. "You bring shame upon this family. What did you expect? Respect?" She gestures to the printout. "And look at this."
You pick up the sheet of paper, recognizing Misha's tweet:
"In shadows cast by whispered lies, a phoenix in the storm shall rise. Beyond the noise, her truth will soar, a beacon's light forevermore."
For a moment, the poetic words offer a sliver of comfort, but it’s quickly overshadowed by your mother's disdainful laugh. "Don’t you start thinking these people are your friends, Y/N. You don’t have any friends.”
You don’t respond, unable to find the words. The room feels suffocating, the walls closing in as the reality of your situation hits you again.
Back on set, Jensen paces, frustration evident in his every step. He stops in front of Jared, his eyes searching for answers.
"You’ve got to see this," Jared says, his voice tight with anger.
Jensen nods, his jaw clenched. "FUCK. This has Dee written all over it. I’m trying to find out where Y/N went. Her former assistant said she caught a flight the day she quit, but no one knows where."
"Oh, and this doesn’t help matters, either." Jared hands Jensen his phone, showing him Misha's tweet.
Jensen reads it, his expression hardening. "Jesus. Is he talking about Dee or Y/N?"
Jared shrugs, his frustration mirroring Jensen's. "Who knows? This whole situation is a mess."
Jensen runs a hand through his hair, exhaling sharply. "I need to find her. We need to fix this."
"You better hurry…," Jared mutters as Jensen stalks away, determination etched in every line of his face.
Back in Washington, the isolation of your mother's home offers no respite from the storm brewing outside. The tabloid articles and Misha’s tweet play on a loop in your mind, each one a reminder of the turmoil you’ve left behind.
Your mother’s critical gaze follows you as you move through the house, her comments biting and relentless.
You never expected things to escalate this quickly. The stress, the accusations, the relentless scrutiny had taken its toll. The walls closed in around you, suffocating you with their memories and relentless criticisms. You felt the familiar ache in your abdomen intensify, the telltale signs of your PCOS flaring up once more. Ignoring it seemed impossible this time.
In a blur, you found yourself in the back of an ambulance, your mother's voice a distant murmur beside you. Her charm was reserved for the medical staff, her narcissistic comments a constant undertone. "She's always been this way. So dramatic," you heard, drifting in and out of consciousness as the siren wailed.
Hours later, you were wheeled into the sterile confines of the Seattle Hospital, bright lights blurring overhead as medical jargon buzzed around you. Emergency surgery was the only option, they said, to save you from the excruciating pain and potential complications. As the anesthesia took hold, you clung to the last memory of Jensen wishing nothing more than to see him again.
_____
Jensen stormed into the director's office, his frustration palpable. His phone had buzzed with an urgent message, a cryptic call from an unknown number. "Seattle Hospital. Hurry." The words rang in his ears as he demanded answers.
"You know something about Y/N, don’t you?" Jensen's voice was urgent, eyes searching the director's face for any hint of news. "I don’t think she would just quit like that. Tell me what's going on." He slammed his fist on the desk. The director couldn’t help thinking about how very Dean-like he seemed.
The director hesitated, weighing his words carefully before sighing heavily. "Y/N has been hospitalized," he admitted finally, his tone grave. "It's serious, Jensen."
Outside the director's office, Jensen's mind raced. He dialed Jared and Misha frantically, relaying the dire news. "I need a car, a plane ticket, and where the hell is my passport!?" Jensen searched his backpack, urgency coloring every word. Jared's voice echoed concern as they coordinated a car to the airport.
"I know you weren't at the hospital the first time," Jared said, his voice tight with worry. "But PCOS and Endometriosis are rough, man. Misha and I did some research after she told us about her conditions."
It felt like hours, but he finally made it to WA. Jensen's arrival at the hospital was met with wide-eyed adoration from fans and stunned whispers from staff. "Oh my God, it's Jensen Ackles!" a teenage girl squealed, snapping pictures as he hurried to the nurse's station.
"Y/N. What room?" Jensen demanded, his voice cutting through the chaos.
"Room 308," the nurse replied, star-struck.
Taking the stairs two at a time, Jensen raced down the corridor, his heart pounding in his chest.
Approaching the room, he paused, overhearing a conversation inside. It was Y/N's mother, her voice laced with disdain and cruelty. "They took your ovary," she sneered. "If you ask me, they should have taken it all."
Jensen's blood boiled as he listened to her venomous words, his protective instincts flaring. "You're a hussy and were an awful mother," her mother continued, reapplying her lipstick with a chilling nonchalance. "You could have enrolled them in private school. But nooooo, being Miss Better Than Everyone, had to homeschool them. As if you could have taught them better. Then to go an sleep around on your husband now. Pffft. I hope my little tabloid escapade shows you exactly how people feel about you."
After Jensen overhears Y/N's mother's hurtful comments, he steps into the hospital room just as Y/N begins to stir from anesthesia. ______
Despite your groggy state, your senses begin to sharpen as you overhear Jensen's voice, firm and unwavering, defending you against your mother's hurtful words.
“YOU SOLD A STORY TO THE TABLOID?” Jensen’s booming voice made your mother jump as she faced him. “Because you don’t agree with her choices in life after EVERYTHING she’s been through? Based on what I’ve heard tonight, I completely understand why she has so many doubts and struggles trusting anyone.” “Why her husband would never speak to me like this. He…” she continued, flabbergasted by his defense. “HE is DEAD. And if HE had been any kind of a man, he most certainly would have put you in your place.” Jensen stepped closer to your mom with every word.
Security arrives amidst the commotion, but Jensen stands his ground, adamant about staying by your side. “If you need to remove anyone, remove her.” He bellowed. Security took your mother outside to give the situation some kind of resolve.
As you slowly wake from the anesthesia, the scene unfolds before your blurred vision. You feel a surge of conflicting emotions—gratitude for Jensen's protective presence, relief that he's here, but also vulnerability exposed by your mother's callousness. Your heart races making the machines beep furiously.
With a trembling hand, you reach out weakly towards Jensen, your fingers seeking his warmth and reassurance. A silent plea for forgiveness. “Don’t speak, princess. Just listen,” he said to you, taking a seat as he held your hand. “I need you to come home.”

Jared and Jensen have a few minutes alone before their panel. Jared is snacking on whatever they provided them with while Jensen is sitting on the couch browsing on his phone. Jared has his wife on FaceTime as he is stuffing his face, and she laughs at the food dripping from his mouth.
“Baby, why can’t you eat normally?”
“What? I’m hungry,” he says, more food spewing from his mouth.
“Our kids eat better than you,” she chuckles.
“Jen, tell her I eat normally.” Jared turns to his friend but Jensen isn’t listening to a word he’s saying. He has one of his Airpods in watching a video. “Are you guys coming to the panel?”
“Yeah, we’re just exploring right now.”
“Hi, Daddy!” Odette smiles and jumps into the frame.
“Hey, sweetheart. I’ll see you soon, okay?”
“Okay. Say bye!”
All three of his kids say bye just before Gen hangs up on him. Jared finishes eating his snack before walking over to his friend. He takes a seat next to him to see what video he’s watching and smirks when he sees you on the screen.
“So, what do you want to do when the panel is over? What section of the convention do you want to visit?” Jared asks knowing Jensen isn’t listening.
He’s too invested in the video of you doing press for your new Marvel movie. You play the elusive Black Widow in all of the Marvel films, and you just got done filming your own solo movie. You’ve done some press for the movie even before it comes out to prepare people for what to expect and things of that nature.
“You’re obsessed with her,” Jared chuckles.
“Shut up, I’m not,” Jensen barks. “I’m just an admirer of her movies.”
“You have posters of her locked away in your collection.”
Jensen slaps his friend on the chest and continues watching the video. It’s true, Jensen has a major crush on you not only for Black Widow but for every role you’ve ever done. You’ve played Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, Katherine and Elena in The Vampire Diaries, and so much more. You’re such a talented person that acting is like second nature to you. You can do almost any role you’ve ever landed, and you’ve won a lot of awards for it which you’re proud of.
“Damn, look at her. She’s gorgeous,” Jensen says with metaphorical hearts in his eyes. Jared laughs and Jensen shakes his head. “I’m sorry, I have a major crush on this woman. What are you gonna do about it?”
“We’re about to do a panel. Come on.”
Jensen and Jared get ready to go out on stage. All their fans cheer for them when they make an appearance. Jared scans the audience to see his wife there with her phone pointed at him. He nods once and turns to Jensen knowing his wife is getting this on video.
“Alright, any questions?” Jared asks. A lot of hands go up in the air, and he points to the person whom Gen gestures. “What’s your name?”
“Elisa. I’m such a huge fan of both of you. My question is for Jensen. I watched a video you did talking about the actress Y/N. She just finished her movie Black Widow. Is it true you have a crush on her?”
Everyone cheers for this question but quiets down to give Jensen an opportunity to answer. His entire face reddens at the question and becomes extremely conscious of what he’s wearing, what he’s saying, and how he’s behaving as if you’re in the room.
“Wow, there’s a lot to unpack here. Look, she’s gorgeous, I’m not gonna lie. If she were standing in front of me now, I don’t think I’d form complete sentences. So, yes, I have a crush on her.”
Everyone laughs at how shy he’s becoming, and Gen looks at the person she’s on FaceTime with.
“He’s so cute,” you chuckle through the screen. “Very charming.”
You’re a really good friend of the Padalecki family. You met Gen through a non-profit organization she was funding a while back and became fast friends with her. She and Jared welcomed you into their family immediately but it was never known to Jensen that you knew them.
“Just wait until you meet him in person.”
“Isn’t it true that there is still an opening for that female character on their show?”
“Yeah.”
“I’m in between projects right now. I’d be happy to audition if you want to bring that to Jared.”
“I’ll have him hook you up,” Gen smirks.
“Is that Y/N?” Shep asks and forces his face into the frame.
“Hey, Shep,” you grin.
Supernatural is about to start filming its eleventh season which means the director is desperate to fill the role of Dean’s love interest. Jared brought you up as an option, the director had you audition, and you were offered the part before leaving the building to go home. Jensen still doesn’t know that you were the one who was offered the role, just that the position had been filled.
“Isn’t it a bit suspicious that we haven’t met this new person?” Jensen asks.
“Talk to the director, dude.” Jared gets a call from the director and answers it with a smile. “Hey. Are you here? … Perfect. I’ll be right there.”
“Whose that?”
“Gen is here. I gotta go. I’ll be right back.”
Jared leaves before Jensen can ask any other questions. He meets up with you and the director who is waiting for him on the other side of the set.
“Jared!” you grin and give him a friendly hug. “Working together is going to be so fun.”
You’re not sure how long you’ll be on the show, but you hope it’s going to last years.
“Is he ready?”
“He’s practicing his lines right now.”
Jared escorts you to the main set where Jensen is. He’s already in his Dean clothes since they are scheduled to film right now. His back is turned to you when you enter the room so you think this is the perfect opportunity to scare him. He is holding a prop gun and muttering his lines when you jump in front of him. He yelps and drops the gun as you let out an infectious laugh.
“What?” he stutters when he sees you.
“Hi, I’m Y/N,” you grin and hold out your hand for him. Jensen is a stuttering mess but shakes your hand nonetheless. “It’s nice to meet you.”
“She’s going to play your new love interest,” Jared says and slaps him on the back lightly.
“It’s going to be so much fun working with you.”
“Yeah, same here,” Jensen manages to get out. “Excuse me for a second.” He brings Jared off to the side to talk to him privately. “What the hell? Did you know about this?”
“Yeah, she’s a family friend.”
“How did I not know this?”
“I’m good at keeping secrets when I want to,” he chuckles.
“I can’t believe I’m going to be in the same room as her.”
“You’re welcome,” Jared smirks and pats his back.
Jared walks away just as you approach Jensen.
“I hope you’re okay with me being here.”
“More than okay,” he smiles shyly. I love your movies. You’re an amazing actress.”
“Thank you,” you smile. “I love this show. Dean just so happens to be my favorite character.”
That makes Jensen blush. Over the next couple of months, you’ve been filming with the boys as much as you can. It’s been nothing but fun especially when you participate in their pranks on Misha. You and Jensen are growing closer, more than you ever thought you would. He’s super nice, sweet, charming, and very sexy. He’s everything a girl would want in a man. This was inevitable, but you got to the part in your onscreen relationship where your characters share a kiss. He’s super nervous as are you since you both have feelings for one another.
“Dean, I don’t know why you’re bugging out. The hunt went exactly as planned,” your character says as you unpack your duffel bag.
“You got hurt. How is that exactly as planned?”
“We got the bad guy. Isn’t that what matters?”
“Not at the cost of your life! How could you think so little of it?”
“Dean, it’s just a scratch. I’ve gotten worse wounds than this.”
“God, you’re not getting it,” he scoffs.
“What? Please explain to me how you’re feeling.”
“It’s your life! No monster is worth that. You’re too important to me.” Jensen walks over to you and cups your jaw. The moment is so intense, so intimate. “I can’t lose you.”
“You won’t lose me. I’m right here,” you whisper.
You two stare into your eyes right before he smashes his lips on yours. He isn’t kissing you like how Dean would, he’s kissing you like how he would. The kiss is supposed to be short and sweet but Jensen keeps it going as long as he can. Your lips mold with his perfectly as if you were meant to be doing this your whole life.
The director yells CUT and Jensen pulls away from you slightly. He cheers at getting it on one take, and you step back from him with a nervous chuckle.
“Good job you two! Take ten everyone!”
“Listen, if you ever want to practice lines or… other things, you’re more than welcome to come to my trailer. You know, practice makes perfect.”
“I’ll make sure to take you up on that offer,” he smirks.
And practice did make perfect. After hearing the story of how you met Jenson yet again, both your daughters clap happily.
“Tell the story again!” your six-year-old giggles.
“Again!” your four-year-old laughs after her sister.
“Not tonight, girls,” you grin and kiss both their heads.
“Go to sleep. We’ll see you in the morning,” Jensen says.
You and Jensen leave their room and close the door gently. Jensen brings you into his arms and you wrap your arms around his neck.
“Landing that role has been the best thing to ever happen to me,” you whisper to him.
“You stole the words right out of my mouth,” Jensen smiles and kisses you.
