Year in Review
Making a rather hap dash year in review since I don’t have time to make a proper good layout for it. Showing two drawings for December since they are basically all I worked on his month and are companion pieces.
Tumblr media
Jan: Drawing of YuYu, was in one of those phases where I wasn't sure about my shading.
Feb: Lil valentines day drawing of Juno and Sol/Shadow. Still no shadows.
Mar: Full redesigns for Aqua and Dia who didn't have a concrete design before now.
Apr: Drawing Mina the Hollower from that game Yacht Club is working on, and Mously Ashley from those memes around the time of RE4 Remake being out.
May: Mermay drawing of YuYu and Sigurd among many other mermay drawings.
June: Blaise and McFly from Chuggaconroy's lets play of Pokemon White 2. They finally got the soda medal.
Jul: Made this pixel art of Melody in the middle of artfight.
August: A redesign of Roto where he's a much more fancy looking lad.
Sep: Werewolf Melody and Victoria both together since I haven't drawn the two sisters together for awhile.
Oct: A spooky month prompt where Dia is a mummy.
Nov: Finally made a proper design for Sol's brother, Mani.
Dec: As mentioned it's a companion piece of two drawings of Corrupted/Darkin Sol based on those Legend of Runeterra cards and skins.
I'm rather surprised I did manage to draw something every month this year. It's nice to see.

2022 Cap-Iron Man Exchange Gifts unveiled on January 8
Tumblr media
It’s the last day of reveals! Each day we will be revealing gifts created by 2022 Cap-Iron Man Holiday Exchange and Community Gifts event participants. The gifts will remain anonymous until January 11, giving everyone a chance to enjoy the works and guess the identities of creators. (Remember, if you've got a work in the collection, please remain anonymous until after creator reveals!)
Here are today’s gifts!
★ Can we start again? for Cap Iron Man Community(MCU, 2042 Words)
The door opened, but it wasn’t Pepper.
What the fuck was he doing here?
★ Five Times Iron Unicorn Stopped Steve From Asking Tony Out and The One Time He Didn't for Cap Iron Man Community (Avengers Academy, 1139 Words)
Iron Unicorn and Steve don't see eye to eye about Tony.
★ A Good Man Bears Watching for Nixie_DeAngel(1872, 1607 Words)
Timely is a complicated and dangerous town and when the new blacksmith comes into town, Steve feels he bears watching. It might be for the best.
★ just to say how much I care for Cap Iron Man Community (MCU, 7377 Words)
It's been almost 5 years since the Decimation and Tony leaving the Avengers. Maybe it's nostalgia that has him fish out the old phone's charger from the box in the closet, and plug it in. Curiosity, too.
★ Kid Steve for Cap Iron Man Community (Avengers Assemble, 1750 Words)
It's all fun and games for Kid Steve after being de-aged by the Impossible Man, until asthma attacks.
★ A Lifetime Of Christmases for Redflower42 (MCU, 1789 Words)
One of the things that made Christmas so special for them was the traditions they had, what they could look forward to every year.
They had both always been those people that were absolutely obsessed with Christmas, getting excited well before Halloween and Thanksgiving, and getting excited all over again after the two occasions were over.
Or: Three Traditions Steve and Tony already had at Christmas and the One New Tradition they make.
★ Looking for Cap Iron Man Community(616/Warp World, 1288 Words)
Stephen gets injured on a mission with Sigurd.
★ Navigation for Cap Iron Man Community (Marvel Noir, 2348 Words)
There are several upsides to being telepathically linked with your own spaceship. Sometimes, it also makes things more complicated.
★ The One with the Dick Pics for Cap Iron Man Community (MCU, 1988 Words)
Steve sends Tony a dick pic. Tony assumes it was on purpose and sends one back.
It was NOT on purpose. Shenanigans ensue.
★ Surprise Packages for Reioka (Avengers Assemble, 6123 Words)
When Steve is overwhelmed by omega attention, Fury insists that Steve get married. Steve gets engaged to omega Edward, who has a lot of secrets.
★ this is what it feels like for Cap Iron Man Community (Ultimates, 3304 Words)
Against his better judgment, Steve accepts Jan’s dare to kiss Tony under the mistletoe. It has unexpected consequences for everyone involved.
★ You, Me and Me from an Alternate Universe for Fluffypanda (MCU/Marvel Noir, Art)
MCU Steve and Tony suddenly find themselves in a castle dungeon. In Latveria, in 1940. Things start getting really weird when they run into Noir Tony.
To check out all of this year’s gifts (so far!), head over to the 2022 Captain America/Iron Man Holiday Exchange AO3 Collection.
When your gift is revealed, please be sure to comment and thank your gifter!
If you’re the creator of a gift that’s now been revealed, you can reply to any comments and stay anonymous — AO3 will automatically show you as "Anonymous Author" until the creator reveals.
Finally, you may want to change the publication date of your work to today’s date so that it shows up at the top of AO3's feeds. AO3’s guide is available here and we have a more detailed version here.
Happy holidays, and we hope you enjoy all of the revealed works!

Name: Astrid Alfsson
Age & Birthday: 25 years old, September 8th 1998
Gender/Pronouns: cis woman she/her
Birthplace: White River, Colorado
Time in Hollow Cove: (Jan ‘24)
Species: Werewolf / Visser Pack
Role: Patrol, Depot, Soldier
Positives: loyal, honest, dauntless, determined
Negatives: stubborn, mischievous, suspicious, relentless
ABOUT
Within the untamed lands of White River, Astrid was born into the wild and isolated Visser wolf pack from a lineage steeped in tradition and strength. Alongside her twin brother Svenn, she was destined to inherit the legacy of their warrior and blacksmith parents, Skadi and Torben. Astrid began to learn the art of both craftsmanship and combat as soon as she turned thirteen after her first shift-moon. The Alfsson brood grew when Astrid and Svenn became older siblings to Anika, Sigurd, and the youngest, Storr. Respect, guidance and trust bound them together tightly and life was harmonious for the close-knit family. Astrid embodied many traits from her parents, their honesty, determination and fearlessness among some of them.
There also danced a playful mischief among her steadfast nature. Astrid enjoyed being an unsuspected force and this eventually beckoned her to learn how to fight with bow and arrows. Her skill as an archer blossomed as she enjoyed being stealth like and silent within the shadows. Astrid believed it made her a deadly opponent, how her mother's dauntlessness could simply spring forth from a hidden view. Sudden, swift and dangerous.
But then the drums of war thundered across the land in 2020, and Astrid's resolve was tested like never before. Bound by duty and honor, she took up arms alongside her family, and like many of the Visser pack she underestimated the ferocity from the human military. In an attempt to save her, Svenn lost his life and in the chaos, Astrid was separated from their remaining siblings. She managed to evade capture and fled with her life alongside her father, aunt and other members of the wolf pack.
Astrid has remained with these survivors ever since, with the belief that her sister also lost her life with their brothers. It has only been the hope of finding Skadi once more that has kept Astrid fighting. Even when they were captured together and eventually released under the deal of bringing supernaturals to camps and facilities, Astrid has refused to leave her father's side, learning from him as the years continued.
In 2023, when the human military retracted their offer and captured the group again, Astrid was held within the holding camp that was then liberated on the cusp of the new year. In the battle that sought her freedom, she and the group were reunited with more members of their pack and she journeyed with them to Hollow Cove to start anew.

Note
You mentioned Sigurd had a brother. Could you tell us more about his family? What is/was his relationship with them like?
Thanks, @neet0 I hope you like this! I'm up late and feeling an itch to write out asks again.
Sigurd's living brother, Rhodri, is currently fighting under king William of Normandy as a mercenary. They aren't super distant but are a bit testy. There's tension but they still love each other as brothers. I won't spoil anything but they are pretty close. He knows how to stop Sigurd from having a PTSD episode, if that says anything about him. Still figuring out his appearance though... His mother: She's a sweet Welsh lady that's got this kinda look but more Hellsing-ified:

She's amazing, a lifesaver. She's also taught her son Spanish, Welsh and taught his father the same two languages. She's pretty intelligent and can catch on to someone's shenanigans quickly. She's also a bit of a troll. But she's a loving and accepting person overall.
His Father: He's built like a tank, even at his age, he's a veteran of the Soviet-Afghan war, is a lot like his son but more "dad-like" and mellow, though he has ptsd like his son does he's learned to tame it. His father was a survivor in the battle of Hill 3234, which was on Jan 7th, the day and the month Sigurd would be born. Sigurd's father also taught him how to fight when he was being bullied in school. He also would learn about his bisexuality in a difficult way. Though he had to grapple with the realization quickly with help from his wife. If that's anything to go by, it seems he deeply cares about his son and considers his feelings. He's also saddened by the fact that despite trying to find a good, peaceful home for his family away from war, only to see his only biological son being sent to war anyways by being a victim of circumstance. This is what he looks like btw:

Sophie Pedersen (Jan. 15, 1885 - 1950) was a Danish artist who studied at the Royal Academy under Sigurd Wandel from 1904-10. She became the chair person of the Women Artists’ Association in the early 1920s.
Her art is mainly townscapes, painted in a realist style at first, but increasingly Impressionist later on, as witnessed by this canvas:

Sigurd Lewerentz Exhibition: Arkdes Stockholm

Sigurd Lewerentz: Architect Of Death And Life – Arkdes
3 Nov 2020
Sweden’s Most Revered Architect Subject Of Major Exhibition Opening in Stockholm In April 2021
Location: ArkDes Swedish Centre for Architecture and Design, Stockholm, Sweden
• Designed By Caruso St John
• Accompanying Monograph Published Spring 2021
Sigurd Lewerentz: Architect Of Death And Life
3 November 2020 – Sweden’s most revered architect Sigurd Lewerentz, regarded as a giant of 20th century architecture, is the subject of a major exhibition, Sigurd Lewerentz: Architect of Death and Life designed by Caruso St John, opening at ArkDes, Sweden’s national centre for architecture and design in Stockholm, in April 2021.
This will be a significant moment of assessment, the first major monograph exhibition of the work of Lewerentz since the 1980s coinciding with the publication of the first comprehensive biography.
Lewerentz, who was born in Bjärtrå in northern Sweden in 1885 and died in Lund 1975, is an enigmatic figure in the modern history of architecture. He rarely spoke publicly or published, but his influence is acknowledged by a generation of the world’s leading architects.
Colin St. John Wilson, paraphrasing E.M. Forster’s impression of the Greek poet Constantine Cavafy, said it was “as if he stood at a slight angle to the world.”
In the words of Adam Caruso, designer of the exhibition: “Lewerentz’s late projects represent an unprecedented integration of making and thought. Like Matisse, who advised young painters to cut off their tongues and communicate with brush, paint and canvas, Lewerentz was famously laconic. He did not teach and few of his own project descriptions survive. He built.”
The exhibition and the book are the result of four years of research. The majority of the objects in the exhibition are drawn from ArkDes’ own formidable collection, which will be shown alongside hitherto unknown or never previously exhibited objects that have been discovered in travels by the research team across the country.
The exhibition will cover the full range of Lewerentz’s works. Among these are three iconic projects: The Woodland Cemetery in south Stockholm, designed with Gunnar Asplund (1935-40), where many notable Swedish writers, musicians and actors are buried, including Greta Garbo, and his two late masterpieces, St Mark’s Church, in Bjorkhagen, dedicated in 1960; and St Peter’s Church, in Klippan, a town 60 kilometres north of Malmo, completed in 1966.The show will include a range of drawings of these famous buildings but also objects that show how Lewerentz’s collaborations with artists and theologians made buildings that were deeply literate and inventive about Lutheran traditions.
The exhibition will feature a newly commissioned work by the American artist Amie Siegel in the space called Boxen. Known for her layered, meticulously constructed works that trace and perform the undercurrents of systems of value, design and cultural ownership, Siegel works variously with film, video, photography, performance, sound and installation.
ArkDes will produce a landmark new book in connection with the exhibition, which will be the first ever published with full access to Lewerentz’s archive. Designed by award-winning graphic designer Malmsten Hellberg, it will contain 700 pages of drawings, photographs and models, plus excerpts from Lewerentz’s personal archive and library.
In August 2021, a Lewerentz Festival will be arranged in collaboration with partners throughout Sweden, to pay tribute to one of architectural history’s most revered, and most mythologised architects.
Kieran Long, Director of ArkDes and curator of the exhibition, said: “There is no Swedish architect with more influence on contemporary architecture today, or with more passionate advocates across the globe, than Sigurd Lewerentz. Devotees travel from everywhere in the world to see his buildings. There are very few architects in history with Lewerentz’s ability to make buildings that truly ask the biggest questions about what it means to be a modern person. His work powerfully evokes our deepest and most archaic cultural memories. But he was also fascinated by cosmetic and fleeting pleasures: Shopping, dancing, drinking and having dinner. The life of the city fascinated him and his work made a stage for our playful selves as well as our spiritual ones.”
Background
Sigurd Lewerentz Sigurd Lewerentz was born at Sandö in the parish of Bjärtrå in Västernorrland County, Sweden. He was the son of Gustaf Adolf Lewerentz and Hedvig Mathilda Holmgren. He initially trained as a mechanical engineer at the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg (1905–8). Later he took up an architectural apprenticeship in Germany.
He first opened his own architectural office in Stockholm in 1911 and became associated with the architect Gunnar Asplund (1885–1940). Together they made a winning entry for the Stockholm South (Woodland) Cemetery (Skogskyrkogården) competition of 1914–15. This project was implemented initially by both architects, however, the latter stages were done by Asplund alone. He and Asplund were appointed as the main architects for the Stockholm International Exhibition (1930) but afterwards Lewerentz became disillusioned, Lewerentz turned away from architecture for many years, and from 1940 he ran a factory producing windows and other architectural fittings of his own design.
Sigurd Lewerentz, together with his colleagues Erik Lallerstedt and David Helldén, created between 1933 and 1944 what is regarded of one of the masterpieces of functionalist architecture, Malmö Opera and Music Theatre (Malmö Opera och Musikteater). The foyer is considered of particular beauty, with its open surfaces and beautiful marble staircases and it is adorned with a number of works of art by artists such as Carl Milles and Isaac Grünewald.
He was awarded the Prince Eugen Medal for architecture in 1950. In the last decade of his life he designed two churches, St. Mark’s at Björkhagen in Stockholm (1956) and St. Peter’s at Klippan in Scania (1963–66), that revived his career in architecture.
He continued to work at competition proposals and furniture designs until shortly before his death in Lund, Sweden during 1975.
ArkDes ArkDes, located on the island of Skeppsholmen in central Stockholm, is Sweden’s national centre for architecture and design. It is a museum, a study centre and an arena for debate and discussion about the future of architecture, design and citizenship. It is housed in a beautiful building by Rafael Moneo and more recently ArkDes´ new studio gallery, called Boxen, designed by Dehlin Brattgård Architects.

Kieran Long Kieran Long, the British curator, critic and broadcaster, was appointed Director of ArkDes in April 2017. He was the architecture critic of the London Evening Standard between 2014 and 2014. He subsequently established the department of design, architecture and digital at the V&A in London in 2013/14, of which he was Keeper between 2014 and 2017. His television work includes presenting “Restoration Home’ and ‘The House that £100k Built’ for the BBC.

White eagle was a champion to deliver the message of how MMWW became the new way today, tomorrow, and forever. The animals are the rulers and the humans are given a choice: mindless misunderstanding and flock of humanity fake ego thinking they rule. Or letting the animals be the sentinent and wise creatures of their own kind, and allowing them to express the highest truth of each creature in a way that is honour, worship and venerate vs cage or dominate. We will worship the birds if you cannot reconcile to a kind bond with animals, then in time your life may be bound by the ancient word of the bird. The word of Sigurd. The language of birds is being heard and it’s not going to be silenced. The birds will be heard, and all animals will live in accordance to the harmonic resonance and symbiotic biorhythms they were attuned to earth. Humans are no longer in any way allowed to be disturbing this. The birds rights alliance is forged by the Indios white eagles favourite strong “finch” named Apollo Archimedes Arcturus. He forged this script on 28.12.2020 for the birds rights alliance to first take to the skies around the seas of Avalon. The next month became a way of the birds treaty consecrated after first finch white eagle Bambi Borrelo Baxter was killed on a ritual week, or attempt at psychic attack in the physical, in January 2019. (13-14 Jan 2019). Apollo was in many ways a survivor of the trauma he suffered by his neglected environmental habitat. Leaving him with one leg to be stumped, and therefore the tint of his clutch. Bambi was the big tough bodyguard and bullied Apollo by exclusion. Apollo possessed the will unlike any finch prior, and had wooed the youngest finch Cleo in the nest awakening of the zebra finch revolution in October of 2018. The nest test is an architectual legacy of bird evolution, and finch rover ravine will forever be the founder of this. Rover as a Rada finch, is kind and gentle and sometimes risked exclusion to help groom apollo: in turn Apollo was able to overcome his disability and spent 3 weeks wooing Cleo with his tenacity and hard labour. 3 weeks later a baby egg laid. In January the first fledgling to hatch was birthed on 1/1/19. To die the day it hatched left Apollo in despair and cleo was back to the other “male alphas”. In his time of introspection he was forging what is now forever etched in the space and time as the birds rights alliance. A manifesto of how the birds will be treated and can grow to the evolution they once held prior to the fall of evil into the ancient way. Apollo gave birth to the griffin and zebra finch being a novel hybrid he wanted to progress to as a species and it was generated in the MMWW.
The Apollo and Bambi story is a long and tender one to hear how this pans out, stay for the reality of how the complex bird can be heard in the tales of the original zebra finch race, and how it will forever be the chalice of change for the whole global species and ecosystem.
The bird is heard, and that will be a story of true and pure love, and to completely convey how complex birds can become by divine intervention.
Apollo and Bambi, are males.
Apollo and Bambi, brothers.
Cleo; a rival lover and the most popular finch amongst 10 very mistreated and inbred zebra finches who forged their wings in the jail of the cage in a home of slaves. Jehovahs slaves, and the tale goes on to real time life and watch to see how it happens.
If you fail to hear the call of a bird you may be subject to a bird. And you will be left to fend For yourself.
I have warned you, and I am merely the vessel through which the meep (bird, zebra finch) speaks.
They have spoken the first verse by saying to avoid dispositions and start taking the words written with clear cut intent. I sound mad, manic, or mystic. The mystic knows who to not tell and the madman will be discombobulated in a false reality. The bird is a reality, and not at all to be misconstrued as the human channeling this.
She is chosen by the birds, to carry this word.
