Shocker is attacked by the the reanimated Zombiote Boomerang who came out of the body bag during the chaos. When Shocker gets pinned to the floor by his zombified friend, he reaches for the trinket and smashes it at Zombiote Boomerang's face. She-Hulk, Overdrive and the kids are still in trouble with the Zombiote versions of the bartender and the dog. As Overdrive is freed by She-Hulk, he manages to save the kids by stopping the Zombiote dog with the modified cash register machine. Then, Shocker gets caught by the Zombiote Hellcat and Zombiote Boomerang that he becomes trapped in a tug-of-war. Shocker notices that Zombiote Boomerang is trying to say his name and he believes that the magic trinket may have revived him a bit but with its unpredictable magic, it doesn't work well when the Zombiote is still inside him and Boomerang is trying to fight the Zombiote influence.
She-Hulk does the shockwave clap, saving not only Shocker from the tug-of-war, it's also frees Hellcat and the bartender from the Zombiotes. However, Boomerang is still is his Zombiote state and he bites Shocker, turning him into a Zombiote. The freed Hellcat calls her friend to do a shockwave clap again but unfortunately, She-Hulk is weak and exhausted that the Zombiote takes over her. Overdrive and the freed bartender are attacked by the Zombiote She-Hulk and the Zombiote dog. The bartender figures out that the sound attack (thanks to She-Hulk's shockwave clap) could stop the Zombiotes so she tries to turn up the volumes of her stereo. The loud music (with Elvis Presley's song) from the stereo did not do much good until Overdrive turns it into the louder bass music which drove the Zombiotes away, freeing She-Hulk, Shocker, Boomerang and the dog. Shocker wakes up from the dog's lick and a splitting headache but he is safe, so are everyone else in the bar. Shocker sees Boomerang alive and well that he hugs him, crying in happiness.

Books I’ve Read In 2023
So, these are all the books I read in 2023. I usually finish about 8 books a year if I'm lucky.
1. Feral creatures - Kira Jane Buxton
The second installment in Buxton's animal lead dystopian future series. I had fun reading this book and chuckled numerous times while reading it.
2. The Queens of Innis Lear - Tessa Gratton
A medieval styled fantasy novel with strong Black/Bi-Racial female main characters plus some trans representation.
3. Twenty Trillion Leagues Under The Sea - Adam Roberts
A delightfully strange fantasy novel that makes you want to keep reading.
4. Lord of the White Hell: Book Two - Ginn Hale
The conclusion of Hale's LGBTQ+ protagonist lead fantasy series.
5. Journey to Jo'burg a South African Story - Beverley Naidoo
An excellent book that brings the reader back to the unpleasant Apartheid era of South Africa. Reading this book brought out a lot of sad and angry emotions but it was worth the read.
6. The Sister of reckoning (The Good Luck Girls, 2) - Charlotte Nicole Davis
The second part of the Good Luck Girls series that I read last year. Great book filled with empowering female characters. Plus some trans representation as well. My only complaint about this book is that it seems to have concluded the series and I would've liked another book before the series ended.
7. Shadow Fallen: A Dream-Hunter Novel - Sherrilyn Kenyon
Apparently this book is part of a series but I didn't know that when I picked it up. Great book and it's kind of a stand alone book as I didn't read any of the previous series entries and fully understood and enjoyed the story.
8. Moon Witch, Spider King - James Marlon
This is the second part to Marlon Jame's dark African themed fantasy series. I picked this book up looking for an entirely new story but instead we essentially get the first book repackaged from another characters perspective.

Radio 2 Festival Live in Leicester
The annual radio 2 Festival in a day, not only swapped locations this year from its usual venue of Hyde Park in London, it also became the station’s first 2-day live event hosting a line-up of 16 performers from across the world of music, with a heavy focus on popular musical acts from the 1980’s era, including both headline acts, Tears for Fears and Kylie Minogue. Victoria Park, Leicester was…

If I had a nickel for every time I obsessed over a villainous getaway driver of color with powers related to cars, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot in the grand scheme of things, but it’s weird it happened twice in different companies’ comics

She-Hulk, Overdrive and Shocker managed to save the kids from the Zombiotes. The two remaining Superior Foes - Shocker and Overdrive, try their best to fight off the Zombiotes alongside with She-Hulk. However, when Shocker gets distracted with opening the trunk of the vehicle, Overdrive is nearly overwhelmed by the Zombiote-Speed Demon until Shocker has to give up in looking for loot to save his friend. She-Hulk is attacked by the Zombiote-Hellcat but she manages to subdue her infected friend by tying her up. As they are outnumbered by too many Zombiotes, Shocker runs away much to the annoyance from the duo. Overdrive looks at the street sign and realizes that Shocker has somewhat made the right choice of where he's running to. The safe place is The Bar With No Name, where the supervillains usually hang out to gather and drink.
She-Hulk, Overdrive, Shocker and the kids manage to reach The Bar With No Name just in time before the Zombiotes could get them. Even though the bartender doesn't like the presence of the superheroes in the bar like She-Hulk (and Hellcat), she reluctantly allows them in when Overdrive tells her about the situation outside the bar. Thus, the bartender activates the shutters, blocking the Zombiotes from coming in and keeping them temporarily safe.
