2022 Lombardia Trophy entry #7
Short Dance
Jakucs/Galli(NED)
Thoughts: both of them had very wobbly twizzles. But Hanna’s braid is so pretty. And she’s so fast. In the K&C, I’ve never seen Alessandro with his hair pulled back before. We can see his pretty smile, yay.
Manni/Roethlisberger(ITA)
Thoughts: the video quality wasn’t all that good. I could barely see Carlo’s pretty face. At the K&C, video quality improved a little but I still found myself looking at Victoria more than Carlo.

2022 Euros entry #24
Kamila Valieva(RUS)
Thoughts: she’s very flexible. But I didn’t like her smile
Short dance
Jakucs/Galli(NED)
Thoughts: Alessio, you look good. Since when did you get facial hair?!
Kuznetsova/Kolosovkyi(AZE)
Thoughts: it’s so rare to see dance teams for Azerbaijan. Yay diversity.
Moscheni/Fioretti(HUN)
Thoughts: Francesco used to be a looker, I wonder what happened?
Tessari/Walker(SWI)
Thoughts: too much makeup on Jasmine
Ipolito/Russell(LAT)
Thoughts: Aurelija has gorgeous legs
Golubstova/Bielobrov(UKR)
Thoughts: these two are so special. Maria is stunning.

2021 Warsaw cup entry #47
Free dance
Lopusova/Kazimov(GER)
Thoughts: I think this is the first competition I’ve seen Viktoria in. She’s very pretty. And that dress is going to be hard to beat.
Wolf/Liebers(GER)
Thoughts: the choreographic lift was the highlight
Ramanauskaite/Kizala(LTU)
Thoughts: the curve lift was so pretty. But Paulina’s hair was coming undone near the end.
Jakucs/Galli(NED)
Thoughts: Hanna. The shape of her eyes, her side profile. She’s giving me blonde Shiv Roy vibes. And she makes a pretty butterfly.

2020 Nebelhorn Trophy Preview - Ice Dance
Like the other disciplines, the Ice Dance disciplines lacks stars, but has some promising teams who could make a mark here. There are no clear cut winners here, but I will do my best. Like Pairs, it’s small with only seven teams.
I would say the favorites, roughly, are Jennifer Janse Van Ressenberg and Benjamin Steffan of Germany. (This could end up being a very good competition for the home country.) They have the highest personal best of any team here, and they were a solid eighth here last year. They are a promising team, and could make that a gold medal this year.
The bronze and silver medal should be between Natacha LaGouge and Armand Caffa of France and Natalia Tascherlova and Filip Taschler of the Czech Republic.
LaGouge and Caffa had their first season together last year, and it will be interesting to see where they are at with a season under their belt. With they had no big successes last year – they were sixth at French Nationals – this could be a good opportunity for them, especially with French Masters just around the corner.
Tascherlova and Taschler were a big surprise for me last year, and are a promising team. This could be a good opportunity for them to make their mark on the senior level, and they have a solid shot at getting either gold or silver, and it could end up being a good battle for the other two medals.
Fourth and fifth place should be between Arianna Wrobleskaya and Stephane Walker of Switzerland and Darya Popova and Volodymyr Byelikov of Ukraine. Sixth place should be solidly Sasha Fear and George Waddell of Great Britain, who are making their Senior debut here. In seventh place should be Hanna Jakucs and Alessio Galli of the Netherlands.

Warsaw Cup Entry #22
Senior Short Dance
Golubtsova/Belobrov(UKR)
Thoughts: Maria, twisting her head and her ponytail flying around. So fun.
Lanaghan/Razgulajevs(CAN)
Thoughts: that curve lift at the beginning does a good job of showcasing Molly’s long legs. Very nice.
Jakucs/Galli(NED)
Thoughts: Hana looked like she was having so much fun out there.
Borisova/Freeman(POL)
Thoughts: the way they tried to save the program with that awesome ending. Effort points.

NRW Trophy Entry #5
Senior Free Dance
Jakucs/Galli(NED)
Thoughts: Hanna looked like a beautiful pink butterfly. Very nice.
Orihara/Pirinen(FIN)
Thoughts: where have these two been hiding this masterpiece performance?! Excellent work Miss Yuka.
Italy Grand Prix Entry #1
Women Short Program
Maia Khromykh(RUS)
Thoughts: whereas I’ve grown to like some of Eteri’s girls, Maia remains an enigma to me. She is still so young though. At least now she is a sparkly blue enigma.
Women Free Program
Lucrezia Beccari(ITA)
Thoughts: my dear. She’s still so pretty to watch. It’s a shame this program didn’t go her way.
Mai Mihara(JPN)
Thoughts: her smile. Her blue and green swirl dress. Everything about this program was just magical.
