Jackie Chan Adventures: Demons Familiar

I greet you all. And this is the idea for the JCA AU. Those who want can take it, I allow it.

So - demon familiars, or as they are also called Demon sorcerers. Usually I imagined the main eight demons as the children of the progenitor of dark chi, but I came up with the idea that sorcerer demons are the name of special servant demons. Each of them has their own rank, from beginner, to elites and even gods. Their affiliation and meaning can vary, from a simple servant, guide and right-hand man, to a warrior, personal bodyguard and martial artist. Also, each of them has its own mark or sign denoting this or that demon, especially for the highest and elite.I think eye color can also depend, but not on the level, but on the group of demon sorcerers. The main ones are yellow, red, blue, green and in rare cases purple. But at the same time, hostility usually did not arise between groups of demon sorcerers.

One more thing, about their owners. Usually, the master, the master, the owner most often becomes a magician, no matter dark or light, but ordinary people and other demons can also become them. Thanks to a collar or mark, the owner himself can determine whether the familiar will be free or forever servants whose orders must be carried out without question.

The lore of this AU is as follows. One day, 8 representatives of the elite demon sorcerers - Tso-Lan, Po-Kong, Xiao-Fung, Dai-Gui, Tchang-Zu, Shendu, Bai-Tsa and Hsi-Wu decided to rebel and become not just servants, but higher demons that could dominate mortals. As soon as they were able to free themselves from shackles and go free, they began to jointly conquer lands and the state, destroying enemies along the way. It all ended in defeat for ordinary people. For several centuries and generations they ruled the world, creating their own laws and state, but one day they were overthrown and expelled by eight immortals, and imprisoned forever in oblivion. The demons tried in every possible way to get out, but everything ended in defeat and return expulsion. One day, they decided to give them a chance for the right to freedom if they returned to who they originally were - familiars. Most of them were against it, but they understood that there was no choice and they agreed.

Something like this... I hope you liked it. I know both English and Russian text here, but just in case someone is interested in what I originally wrote.

Итак - демоны фамилияры или как их еще называют Демоны колдуны. Обычно я представляла ну основную восьмерку демонов как дети прородителя тёмной ци, но у меня в голову пришла идея о том что демоны колдуны это название особых демонов слуг. У каждого из них есть свой ранг, от новичка, до элит и даже богов. Принадлежность их значение могут быть разными, от простой слуги, проводника и правой руки, до воина, личного телохранителя и мастера боевых искусств. Так же каждый из них имеет свою метку или знак обозначающий тот или иной демон, особенно это касается высших и элит. Цвет глаз думаю так же может зависеть, но уже не уровень а группу демонов колдунов. Основные это желтый, красный, синий, зелёный и в редких случаях фиолетовый. Но при этом обычно не возникало вражда между группами демонов колдунов.

Ещё кое что по поводу их хозяев. Обычно хозяином, мастером, владельцем чаще всего становится маги, неважно темные или светлые, но так же ими могут стать обычные люди и так же другие демоны. Благодаря ошейнику или метке, владелец сам может определить будет ли фамилияр свободными или вечно слугами чей приказ должен выполняться без прикословно.

Лор этого АУ тут таков. Однажды в один из дней, 8 представителей элит демонов колдунов - Тсо-Лан, По-Конг, Ксяо-Фанг, Даи-Гуи, Тчанг-Зу, Шенду, Бай-Тса и Хси-Ву решили восстать и стать не просто слугами, а высшими демонами, которыми могли бы властвовать над смертными. Как только смогли освободиться от оков и выйти на волю, они общими усилиями начали завоёвывать земли и государство, уничтожая врагов на своем пути. Все закончилось поражением для обычных людей. В течение нескольких веков и поколениями они правили миром, создавая свои законы и государство, но в один из дней их свергли и изгнали восемь бесмертных, и заточили навсегда в небытие. Демоны пытались вся чески выбраться, но все оканчивалось поражением и обратное изгнание. Однажды, им все таки решили дать шанс на право свободу, если они вернуться к тому кем они изначально были - фамилиярами. Большинство из них было против, но понимали что выбора нету и те согласились.

Как-то так.. надеюсь понравилось. Знаю тут и английский и русский текс, ну просто вдруг кому-то будет интересно что я изначально писала.

So I've had these Grunkle Stan crackships on my mind for almost a year now. Could be interpreted as platonic, but I think there's great and fascinating potential if interpreted fully romantic. Full musings and explanations below (Warning: very disjointed and random).

Uncle Chan from Jackie Chan Adventures

Maybe Ford and Stan stumble across the Chans on one of their globe-trotting adventures. Both groups fight off the same supernatural threat and surprise each other with their ease and familiarity with the weird and fantastical.

I feel Uncle is kind of a weird in-between of Ford and Stan. He is knowledgeable but not a nerd like Ford, is generally cranky but doesn't get into trouble like Stan does, although he does have a level of disregard towards authority if it gets in the way of his goals. He's quick to do research instead of impulsively charging into a situation.

I think Uncle's dynamic with Stan would be hilarious. They would argue a lot on how to deal with a threat, but once they agree to work together, they could kick ass. Once he gets past his initial annoyance, Stan would probably enjoy Uncle's quips, even more so when he realizes that Uncle does not say them to be funny, he's just naturally snarky.

Uncle is never shown having any romantic interest or relationships, so I kind of headcanon him as ace, but I think it would be really interesting to see what kind of queerplatonic relationship he and Stan could form.

Jade and Mabel would probably hit it off immediately, and while Jade isn't as studious as Dipper, she also has an enthusiasm for the supernatural so she'd probably get along decently with him. She'd also probably think Stan and Ford are super cool, especially considering their lax attitude toward giving children weapons. Though they do still take the kids' safety very seriously.

Jackie is doubtful of Stan, much like he was with Viper, but seeing Stan look out for the kids would probably endear him a little. Ford might also help ease his worries, and maybe they both could have fun discussion about archeology.

I think Tohru and Soos could get along decently, though Tohru would find Soos' eccentric musings odd at first.

Additionally, Uncle's shop is in San Francisco, practically next door to Dipper and Mabel in Piedmont. The kids would easily visit each other every weekend.

Bruno Madrigal from Encanto

Stan has been to prison in Colombia, so I don't think he'd willingly travel there for fun, and Encanto Valley seems relatively closed off from the rest of the world, so I imagine their meeting is accidental, maybe a result of the Stans getting caught in a storm or something. They stay for a while in the valley while repairing their boat.

Stan might initially be outraged at the idea of the Madrigals not charging anyone for the use of their gifts, but perhaps lightens up when he sees how close-knit the community is. He'd still come up with ways they could show off their powers Mystery Shack style, probably butting heads with Alma in the process, lol. He might encourage Bruno to adapt a more showman-like approach to his seer abilities to make it more presentable and less intimidating.

Bruno and Stan connecting over their shared feelings of isolation from family is definitely what drew me to these two together in the first place. If they ever got serious about their relationship, I can imagine the biggest hurdle would be deciding if they should continue a long-distance relationship, since neither is keen on asking the other to be separated from their family.

Yuuko Ichihara from xxxHolic and Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle

Major spoiler alerts for both series. It's been many years since I've read them, and Tsubasa had so many plot twists that even CLAMP (the writers) admitted they were confused by the end result. I also might be misremembering some details, so bear with me. Factoring in the plotlines for both series and Gravity Falls would make for an incredible AU fanfic that I unfortunately am not qualified to write.

Due to Yuuko's shop being in Tokyo, a whole ocean away from Oregon, I like to imagine some timey-wimey space mumbo jumbo allowing Yuuko and Stan to meet in the dream realm. Maybe at some point, Yuuko's shop would obtain a door connecting it to the Mystery Shack.

Stan and Yuuko both have a mischievous side, though Yuuko is generally more reserved. They could start out as drinking buddies, though I imagine Stan would probably favor a light beer, while Yuuko loves sake.

They also both use aliases (it is never revealed what Yuuko's real name is), but Yuuko would likely be upfront about it. As their relationship progresses, Stan would probably feel comfortable telling Yuuko his real first name, even after she tells him the supernatural dangers of giving your real name.

While Stan scams his customers, he generally sells harmless entertainment and trinkets, whereas Yuuko grants wishes and operates strictly on an equivalent exchange basis. To quote the wiki, "All of Yuuko's customers must pay a price in order to grant their wishes, which can be no more or no less than the one demanded, or else harm will come to one's way. She is not one to tell the customer the most direct way to solve their problems because in the end, it can only be solved with that person's own realization and resolution to change themselves... Her abilities are not unlimited and may almost seem like a curse as it appears that she is unable to do anything for anyone or grant any gift (other than feelings) without it becoming a binding transaction." 

When Stan finds out just how powerful Yuuko is, I think he might react with a mixture of hesitation and awe, especially when she reveals she knows about his past, and Ford being lost in the multiverse. I am on the fence on whether Yuuko would use her powers to bring Ford home sooner, or let Stan continue working on the portal because he's already close to completing it and this would be significant in defeating Bill.

I found that the main villain of Tsubasa, Fei Wang Reed, surprisingly parallels Stan. Both endanger reality to bring back someone who is lost, but while Stan does it out of love and devotion to his family, Fei Wang Reed only did it in an arrogant plan to prove himself a powerful sorcerer. And in Fei's case, the person is already dead. CLAMP's universe establishes that the dead cannot be brought back to life, and Fei's wish to do so would cause the universe to be destroyed. I wonder if Bill would factor Fei as part of his plans.

Stan also surprisingly shares a lot in common with Fai D Fluorite. Both use their twin's name (Fai's real name is Yuui), and for much of the series Fai's tragic backstory regarding his twin is unknown, and he hides his trauma under a laid back exterior. I think Stan would empathize a lot with Fai, after he finds out his backstory.

Kimihiro Watanuki is revealed to have been created to fill a void left by Syaoran after the latter wished to turn back time. I remember Watanuki's character arc involved realizing that people cared about him. "Don't disappear", "Continue existing". Stan would probably take Watanuki under his wing, much like he did with Soos. Watanuki might find life with the Pines family far more chaotic than he's used to, but slowly warm up.

Yuuko is revealed to have died a long time ago and has basically been in magical stasis due to Clow Reed's unintentional wish. When time finally moves forward again, Yuuko eventually passes on. She doesn't return in the canon series, but Watanuki is stated to have also suspended his time to wait for her return. In this AU, maybe she reincarnates in the past and reunites with Stan and the Pines in the present day.

Here There Be Dragons Ch. 1

The people of Hanamura knew better than to step foot in the old castle. The foreign criminals did not. Neither did the man tracking them.

This is loosely based on the Jackie Chan Adventures episode ‘The Lotus Temple’ .  It’s also my first time writing for McCree and Hanzo, so please be gentle with me ^^

Scales and Tales                 

 The people of Hanamura knew better than to step foot in the old castle. They had been born to the whispers of curses, to the dark clouds the circled over it for all but one day in the year. Their children played games, dared each other to touch the gate, to look upon the stone dragon that wrapped itself around the gates and glared down with eyes that warned of a storm. None of them were foolish enough to cross over the wall. None of them were foolish enough to dismiss generations of promises to never enter.

 To forsake their lives just for a glimpse inside.

 None of them were international weapons smuggler sprinting through the city with a target on their back. None of them were strangers jaded to the world and it’s supposed curses.

 None of them could recognize something ancient and powerful for what it was. And so they scrambled over walls, throwing backpacks and bodies over into a pile of weapons and limbs.

 One boy dropped down, landing on his ankle wrong. It was visible even from the vantage point Jesse McCree had taken up residence in. He leaned on the tree trunk, watching the kid scramble to pick up a bag when the one in charge, a nasty piece of work that called himself Glitch.

 The Blackwatch operative narrowed his eyes. If they got into the castle proper and fortified it, he’d have to cave and call for some back up, or say fuck it and just destroy half of the building in a firefight. If he took them out now, he’d be making a mess of a courtyard, but it would be quicker and over faster.

 Too bad Reyes wanted him to bring in Glitch alive. Too bad some of them were kids.

     You were a kid too, in Deadlock,    he reminded himself. He hadn’t been doing kid stuff then and these kids weren’t doing kid stuff now. If they’d come all this way from Germany, they knew what they were getting themselves in. No one worked for Glitch for long without knowing what it was going  to cost them.

 Jesse idly wondered if they knew that Glitch’s real name was Iverson Bemesderfer.

 Probably not.  

 Jesse breathed in deeply, mourning that he couldn't smoke on the clock, and drew his piece. He was readying himself to jump from tree to wall when a sound invaded his ears. It was almost too low for him to notice, at first.

 His implants picked it up before he really did. Typically they dulled the blast from gunfire so it didn’t blow his eardrums out, but they also caught and amplified certain things. Things that might register as a threat.

 Things like the low roll of thunder that beat inside the castle walls. The sky was clear, the castle was empty, save the invaders.

 Jesse blinked.

 Something moved. A flash of lightning through the courtyard, an explosion of action that cut through the crooks, leaving blood and guts in its wake. Blue caught the light, thunder grew louder, echoing in tandem with screaming. A gun went off, then another, a flurry of bullets flying at the flash of light that tore through the crowd.

 To the side a grenade went off, tearing through five men and throwing the blue back into a wall hard enough to crack it.

 For just an instant the carnage stilled. Jesse knew moments like these, when the fight went from hot to cold, bodies frozen in motion where the only things he could hear was the pounding of his heart and the world zeroed in to the sight at the end of Peacekeeper.

 This was different.

 The sound he heard drowned out his heart, the beat of thunder on the horizon. Peacekeeper stayed down, at his hip. That didn’t stop the ice in his veins. That didn’t stop the way the world darkened until there was only black and white and red and for the first time in his life blue.

 Blue. Brilliant, glowing, blinding      blue    burst through the Deadeye he didn’t call upon, burning itself into his memory. Scales shimmered in his vision where they fell to the ground, blue warring with red. The serpentine body curled in against the wall, stone collapse frozen around it.

 One of the kids had turned a machine gun on the creature when it impacted.

 Jesse blinked and the world returned. Peacekeeper smoked faintly in his hand and six bodies hit the ground. A girl who had hefted another grenade, the boy with the machine gun and the four people closest to Glitch. For an instant his eyes locked with the creature’s.

 His heart beat once and the beast erupted once more, red and blue lashing across the ground, cutting through bodies. It felt familiar, the death, the massacre, watching his targets fall. Not at his hand, true, but he knew folks that favored the blade over gun smoke or bare fists. It felt like that.

 Glitch had sense enough to turn tail and run, for the wall. Jesse couldn’t bear to tear his eyes away from the scene but he forced himself, vaulting to the ground to intercept, jogging to where Glitch would end up over the side. The shadow of his head fell over Jesse’s shoulders and he stepped back so he could be ready to subdue him. The target managed to get almost all the way over the wall before he screamed.

 Jesse met him beneath the red shingled, catching the part of his body that came down. Most of him, at least. His legs had been sheared off.

 Jesse touched his comm and called for a medic, focusing on what he knew. He coudln’t think about what he’d seen, what he’d learned was real. He had to keep his mind on the job, or he didn’t think he could keep from trying to catch one last glimpse of the most beautiful creature he’d ever seen.

 What Jesse saw never made it into his official report, the one that went into the files that Blackwatch sent to Morrison. Jesse had almost withheld it from even Reyes, but in the end he told him the full truth, if for no other reason than he couldn't think up another way to explain that he’d only shot six people and when extraction had been completed there was no sign of anyone having been inside of Hanamura Castle at all.

 Jesse had no idea why Reyes believed him. As long as he didn’t send him to Mercy for a head check it was just fine by him. .

 After Glitch he had stuck mostly to the America’s, north and south. Hunting down other rogue agents, taking down gangs one at a time. Usually he was partnered up with someone, Genji preferably, or even Reyes on a couple of memorable,      explosive    , occasions.

 The next time he went to Hanamura it was on his own terms.

 Jesse passed the castle three times the first day. He knew that going the same place on repeat was a messy mistake, it made it easy to track him. Easy to make a target out of him. Jesse just couldn't help it. He was drawn to the building and the being inside of it.

 He wanted to know more.

 He asked around, but his Japanese was terrible and the english explanations he got were mostly centered around staying the hell away.

 The second day he climbed the tree he had been in two years before to look inside. There was no sign of the carnage, no sign of dragon. Nothing at all.

 Jesse left with a stone in his guts.

 He hung around his hotel room for the next few days, checking out where he was going next and berating himself for not just hopping the fence and going in.

 He cleaned his six shooter about a dozen times, polished his boots, mended his serape and anything else he could do to keep his mind occupied and off the castle. He wanted to go in. He wanted to see the dragon again.

 He did not want to die.

 Every time he almost got up the courage to poke his head into the dragons den he remembered Glitch’s legs. A single snap of massive jaws and they were both gone. Jesse was already missing one arm, he wasn’t sure he wanted to lose any more parts.

 He was putting Peacekeeper back together after her fourth cleaning of the day when a knock sounded on the door.

 “Housekeeping!” was announced. In a voice that didn’t match the one that had come every day before. Jesse had time enough to grab his hat before the door came off its hinges and he was shoved out the window from the power of the explosion.

 He hit the ground running.

 Jesse McCree was not known for his brilliant ideas. Genji thought he was ten pounds of crazy in a five pound bag and had delusions of immortality. Reyes thought he was a punk with a penchant for ignoring common sense. Morrison… Jesse didn’t even want to know what he thought.

 Maybe Genji was right. Maybe, Jesse was just totally insane and had diluted himself into thinking he could make plans that wouldn’t end up in his death. Jesse had always been a few steps ahead of the reaper, kept there by the bodies he dropped behind him. He’d only ever been good for talking shit and shootin folks, which probably explained how he’d gotten this hair brained scheme in his head in the first place.

 His boots beat against the back alley, splashing though he-didn’t-want-to-know-what. Footsteps followed him second behind, just far enough that he didn’t have to start dodging bullets yet. Peacekeeper rested heavy in his fingers, hammer pulled back, waiting to be released.

 He bolted around a corner, his aim coming into sight. The rooftops rose high in the setting sun. Jesse took a deep breath and poured on more speed so when he threw himself at the wall it was the momentum carried him halfway up. His free hand caught the top, metal clanging audibly and he swung himself up, over the top. A gun raport broke through the sounds of the city around just before Jesse rolled over the roof and dropped to the ground below.

 He crushed some poor, unsuspecting bush under his weight before he pulled himself out of the clawing foliage. Blood ran down his arm from the new hole in his shoulder, slicking his grip on his piece. Heat burned through his shoulder and along his ribs.

 He touched his side with his metal hand, hissing. Damn. He hadn’t been counting on being hit.

 Voices crowded around the wall he’d just dropped over, accompanied by the clinking of metal and the clicks of weaponry.

 At least that was going according to plan.

 Jesse wiped his bloody palm on his pants before he went back to running, steadying his grip on the pistol. Behind him, pursuers had started to climb the wall.

 “Sorry about all this, darlin,” he told the castle. “ Ah, wasn’t expectin’ all this trouble.”

 Which was ridiculous. He should have. Trouble followed him in a shadow of misfortune.

 More bodies dropped down behind him. He picked up his heels and ran. The front gate was in sight when he turned the corner. Blood trailed behind him. For a long minute he wondered if he really had lost his marbles those years before. If he had imagined the blue dragon.

 Then the thunder beat through the earth. Someone screamed behind him. Jesse threw himself forwards, against the gate, managing to scramble up. From the high ground he turned his sight back, to the dragon that tore through the pursuers like they were nothing more than paper.  It was incredible, awe inspiring.

 Jesse lifted his hand, pulled back the hammer and shot. One by one his targets fell, crumpling to the ground. Never once did he strike the dragon that coiled through the intruders. Jesse had seen rattlesnakes slower than this.

 The last of his pursuers crumpled to the ground, a bullet in their head. Wind blew through his hair, tugging at his hat. The thunder beat harder in his heart.

 Jesse opened his mouth to say something, anything. All that came out was a shout when the gate beneath his feet cracked and fell, collapsing backwards, sending the cowboy down with it. The air rushed from his lungs, leaving him choking desperately.

 He barely got his breath back when something cast a long shadow over him. Jesse brought his shooting hand up on instinct, levelled in between two gold eyes. The dragon loomed over him, baring its teeth. Thunder rumbled around him, growled from between the dragons fangs.

 “Well, don’t that beat all,” Jesse breathed. He sat up, slowly, letting the weapon drop. He could shoot from the hip just fine. The man drew his legs away from the creature’s fierce claws. His heavy boot knocked some stone, sending it clattering off the door and into the street. Tight muscles tensed under thick hide and the dragon moved a threatening inch closer. He didn’t think he’d ever seen anything so pretty in his life.

 Pretty like a rattler with it’s scales shining in the sun. Pretty like the barrel of Peacekeeper after he’d just polished her. Pretty like Ana Amari.

 Pretty and perfectly capable of killing him.

 Up close he could see it’s eyes in the burning light, golden, flecked with brown. Surrounding that was pale scales, practically white, beneath a slim patch of fur that could have been spun from his mama’s wedding band. Whiskers of the same color flicked in front of him, floating in the air with a serenity that was sharply opposed by the massive, pointed teeth being shown to him. Under the drawn lips was a beard that chased backwards, edging jaw that could have taken Jesse in whole. It edged up along with sharp point, horns maybe, that crowned the dragon’s head till the point of a blade of fur that drew from the tip of the head to the end of a long, long tail.

 “Ain’t you somethin’?” Jesse slowly moved, so as not to startle the creature, pushing himself into a stand. The dragon made no move to stop him. “Thank ya’ kindly for the help,” he nodded to the bloody mess behind the dragon and took a respectful step back, his heart beating hard.

 It released a growl that shook him to the core, one that rolled through the scales that flashed beautifully. Jesse realized that where the scales faded from the near-white around the eyes and lips into a deep, ocean shade they were tipped with the same gold he could see in the dragon’s eyes.

 Jesse took another step away, watching the dragon the whole time. As soon as his boots were off the door it jerked, twisting, and disappeared. Doors that been broken repaired themselves and lifted back into place. It shut hard.

 Jesse was left with a bullet in his shoulder, a graze in his side, and a pair of shaking knees.

 Something caught in the light, the stone he’d kicked earlier. It sang blue in the dimming light. Jesse did a recount.

 He also had a scale.

My story’s at 1506 words! Do I have to pay the extra pricing per word?

All extra words are negotiable. I will be lenient if I go over due to just being a few words over or if I happen to get really into the commission. But if you request more, then it’s on you.

Why does the pricing go up for longer stories?

The more words, the more time I am putting into the commission. Longer fics mean more time and effort, this includes editing, rewrites, double checking, and triple checking. You want what you’re paying for to be worth it and so do I.

I have this great idea for a novel…

I’m glad you have an idea, but no. I will not write your novel for you. It’s not fair to me, and it will cost you more than you’re probably willing to pay.  Plus I have my own projects and novels to write.

I have a fandom OC, will you write with them?

Yes, as long as you’re willing to provide as much information as possible so I can write them properly without embarrassing myself or you.

I have a completely original character and would like you to write with them. Is this okay?

YES. But be prepared to give me a decent bio as well as physical descriptions and all the basic information. The more information I have, the more I can bring your baby to life.

Could you write ‘insert name here’s character with one of mine or yours?

As long as we both have the permission to use the character, then yes. Just like writing your OC, I will need as much information as possible on their OC to write them properly.

What kind of stories do you write?

Fanfiction mostly, varying on genre, though I do have some published short stories (some fantasy, some horror). I enjoy fantasy, angst, realism grittiness (particularly toward shows that gloss over serious subjects), and romance. I am willing to write almost any genre.

What won’t your write?

I absolutely will not write anything involving the following:

Children in sexual situations

Non-consensual sexual acts

Explicit abuse (very few exceptions – will be okay with most implied abuse, but not rape)

How does this work?

Message me with your intent and a brief idea of what you want. Once I approve, we discuss what length of story you want, what genre, what characters, a loose outline, price, and how long it will take me to get it done for you. We will exchange e-mails. Big info. Dumps (such as character ref. Sheets) will be done over e-mail so I can save them for quicker reference.

I send you my paypal link over e-mail and you can either pay half the commission price before I get started, or full price. Over the course of time it takes me to write your commission, I will send you updates, give you up to two paragraphs and/or dialogue at random to give you sneak peeks, and when it’s completed I’ll give you the final word count and total (if you choose to pay half up front, the total refers to what you have left to pay). I let you know it’s done, you pay the other half of the commission (unless you paid full upfront), and after full payment I will send you a link to the final product.

Will you be showing my story off to everyone else?

I do post everything to A03 and to tumblr. This is just a way for me to secure my writing so that someone cannot easily claim it as they wrote it by themselves. Will you write same-sex commissions?

Absolutely! I will write any pairing, no matter the sex or gender identity of character. Yes, this means I will write gay/queer/etc NSFW.

I headcanon a character as trans/gay/etc. Can you write them as such?

Yes. I will write a character with a gender identity/sexuality that’s in line with your headcanon. The only thing I won’t write is a gay/trans/etc character as explicitly cis/straight.

What won’t your write?

When Drago gets home, he wants to ignore what Jackie had told him but found that he couldn’t. No matter how much Drago would refuse to listen to Jackie’s advice, he found that Jackie was right, and if he didn’t change soon it would be too late to fix anything. When Drago comes back to school on Monday, he finds that it’s easier to say something than to actually get it done.

It takes Drago the rest of the school year to bend his back backwards and every which way to get the approval of Jackie, then later the J-Team. It was everything from public school humiliation, extra work given by the Principal and Vice Principal and pretty much being treated like a servant by each member of the J-Team. It’s gotten to certain points where Drago really wanted to go back to being the mean asshat he was before, but someone was always there watching him to make sure he’s doing the right thing.

Viper, Jackie and Jade were the last people to fully trust Drago mostly bitter Viper and Jade. They desperately wanted to put Viper’s pet snake in Drago’s bag, but Jackie had to restrain the girls from doing so.

For a while, Drago’s friendship journey made his other “friends”, the Ice Crew, angry but Drago had learned to ignore them over time. They hadn’t really done Drago any favors to begin with.

Drago loves bad puns and cheesy, annoying jokes. Of course it’s irritates everyone, but that was one of Drago’s pieces of childhood that made him happy, so the bad habit stuck to him.

There’s a thing at 13 High that most students and faculty refer to as an ‘Incident’, or ‘The Day... ’.‘The Chicken Noodle Soup Incident’, ‘The Day Jackie Beat Drago’, ‘The Viper Incident’, ‘The Day of the Museum Field Trip’, ‘The Senior Prank Incident’. A lot goes on at this school, so the easiest way to remember them all is by properly labeling them so people don’t get confused.

Now the Field Trip one I want to explain. The J-Team and their World History/Geography class go to the San Francisco Natural History Museum for a whole day. The class is a pretty big class, so Mr. Kasahara organizes everyone into buddy systems to take notes on what they see. Jackie + Drago, Charlie + Frank, Paco + Viper, El Toro + Jade, Tohru + Rocko. According to Mr. Origami, if anyone causes any sort of trouble, they will be held responsible.

Drago is “too cool” for Jackie, so he goes off on his own. Jackie has to go find him and ends up deep into the museum for him to find his way back. When Drago finds the opportunity, he locks Jackie in the janitor’s closet and runs away to do his work. Luckily for Jade + Rocko, they learned how to get through the museum as they were looking for the bathroom. It took around 10 minutes to get Jackie from the janitor’s closet, which costed the three of them 10 points from their assignment.thanks a fuckin lot Drago

Jackie has a very good memory and is very observant. On the first couple of days in school, he was able to remember all of everyone names he’s encountered. It helps him with his studies and of course, helping people in the school when they have trouble with memory.

Jackie’s had more than one encounter of waking up on a Saturday for school. This lead to a couple of Jade’s pranks to which Jackie disliked.

All the teacher work days, extra holidays, Spring Break and Winter Break confuse Jackie, as he didn’t have too many of them in China.

Jackie’s hair goes down a little bit past his shoulders. He takes very good care of his hair, which is probably why everyone has their hands in it constantly. Not that it bothers Jackie, since Uncle used to have to tie his nephew’s hair up a lot. Sometimes, if Jackie gets lazy, Jade offers to do Jackie’s hair in the morning, which results to many interesting hairstyles.

Jackie was okay with school lunch at the beginning of the year until he ended up getting sick from eating a not-so-well-cooked chicken sandwich. This resulted in Jackie having to stay home for a week with a bad case of the stomach virus. After that incident, Jackie takes food to school and if there’s a case where he has to eat school food, he’s very cautious of it. to be fair Jade and Frank warned him and he chose not to listen

Over the school year, Jade takes many, many pictures of Jackie and the J-Team. At first, Jackie is a little uncomfortable and slightly bothered by the constant clicking of the camera, but then he begins to not mind.

The reason why Jade is doing so is to take all the pictures and turn them into a slideshow to show Jackie and the school, since the school can’t seem to get enough of Jackie. At first, Principal Black and V.P Hartman aren’t okay with Jade constantly having her phone out but after she told them her plan, they were fine with it also.

The weekend before graduation, 13 High’s tradition is to do a Senior Picnic day, where all the seniors can choose not to come to school and hang out in the park for a day of fun. El Toro, Tohru, Viper and Jackie show up, but Drago decides not to show. The J-Team seniors are a little concerned for Drago and they all call him, but his phone doesn’t answer.

Graduation is coming up, and Jackie is a little bummed because he wants Uncle to see it. Sadly, he doesn’t have enough money to buy Uncle a plane ticket as he had used it for other generous things. He would ask his uncle and aunt, but he doesn’t want to bother them with something that wouldn’t matter. But Jade knows her cousin enough to see that he wishes his uncle was here, so she asks her parents instead and they are delighted to. The money is sent to Uncle and when he finds that the nephew he’s raised is going to graduate, he gets his best formal clothes and quickly arrives to the U.S. ASAP.

On graduation day, Jackie, Jade, her parents and the J-Team are of course very emotional. The only people who know about Jackie’s surprise are Jade and her parents, as the rest of the J-Team know nothing. When Jackie’s name is called for his diploma, he looks out into the crowd and sees his friends, family and Uncle? There on stage he freezes up, unable to move. It had been so long since Jackie was away from his uncle that happy tears fall from his face as he runs down from the stage to give his uncle the biggest embrace he could.

Jackie’s reunite with Uncle is pretty happy, which makes a lot of people cry. V.P. Hartman is wiping her eyes, Capt. Black is blowing his nose, Aunt Mei and Uncle Shen are trying hard to keep their tears suppressed. Drago himself has a tear, claiming it’s just ‘sweat going into his eyes’. 

When Drago’s name is called up on stage, he notices a familiar shadow into the large crowd of people. After the graduation is over, he goes by himself to find that shadow to see that it’s his Uncle Seymour. Whether Drago likes to admit it or not, he’s actually quite close to his Uncle Seymour.

“Unc? What’re you doing here?”

“I was let out for good behavior. As for your dad... euh, it’s weird. He said he wants to talk to you. He’s at your house waiting for you,” Seymour explains.

“Why would I want to see that deadbeat?”

“He said it’s urgent.”

Seymour drives Drago home as fast as he can and there Mr. Huo is, playing with Henri. He tells Drago to sit down and begins to actually talk to him. Even though Mr. Huo is speaking in a somewhat harsh tone, this would be one of the first civil conversations Drago would have with his father in who-remembers-how-long. what they talk about is something i’m not even sure of

The day after graduation Jackie is packing up his bags in his room, ready to go back to China. Aunt Mei and Uncle Chen catch him. Jackie prepares to formally say goodbye to them, but they aren’t dressed to go anywhere. Aunt Mei tells Jackie that Capt. Black had called and said that he got a full ride scholarship to the San Francisco State University told you jackie’s smart. Jackie is skeptical about this because he’ll feel guilty about not being able to take care of Uncle.

“Oh nephew! What’s the point of taking care of Uncle in China if Uncle’s coming to America?” - Aunt Mei

This too is part of the Jackie Chan Adventures High School AU, but it’s a deleted scene. When I looked back over this, I didn’t like it anymore because it would require a lot of more thought into it, plus it’s a little cringeworthy to me idk why. This scene makes the AU feel a little bit like a soap opera, and plus it’s a little complicated to fully write out. I was going to delete this but I said if I had an idea I’d post it, so I am.

“Unc? What’re you doing here? And where’s Dad?”

“I was let out for good behavior. As for your dad… euh, none of us are quite sure. But I didn’t know that Chinese kid went to your school,” Seymour explains with a ghastly expression and pointed at Jackie.

“Yeah, so what about Chan?”

“Umm… ”

The area is crowded with people, so Seymour whispers his secret to Drago’s ear. Drago’s expression turns into an unreadable one as he takes off in the crowd to find Jackie.

Drago pushes past the crowds of graduating seniors and their families. He’s sure he’s stepped on many people’s feet, but he’s not in the mood to care. His Uncle Seymour is tagging behind him, but Drago is a football player so he knows how to get away.

When he finds Jackie alone, Drago pulls him away and nearly drags him to Seymour. He then drags the both of them to somewhere where they can talk in private.

“Hey, you’re pulling at my shirt!” Jackie complains.

“You’re saying my own father had to do with this kid right here?!” Drago seethes.

Seymour begins to feel a bit uncomfortable. He is a Bā Wáng, and he’d prefer not to have a civilian like Jackie find out. “M-Maybe now’s n-n-not the time…”

“Okay I’m confused.” - Jackie

“C’mon Unc, cut the bullshit! Chan already knows my dad’s in trouble because of the stupid Bā Wáng, now explain!” - Drago

Seymour takes in a deep breath. He knows how angry Drago can get and it resulted in him almost minor injuries. Seymour is older, but Drago is just barely taller and most definitely bigger than him.

“Okay okay. When the both of you were kids (I don’t remember how old you were), my brother Shen went to Guangzhou for some kind of drug delivery or something. He was supposed to be gone for 2 weeks, but he came back after 6 days. At the time, I was the only one of the Bā Guówáng who hadn’t been arrested so I had to ask what happened. Shen didn’t say anything, he just said everything went wrong.”

“I kept asking my brother what happened but he wouldn’t even acknowledge his trip, so I did some investigation for myself. Turns out, Shen’s gang had way too many moles in it and it almost cost him his life. To be exact, there were 44. This resulted in some serious bloodshed that carried out into some parts of the city, where civilians were injured and killed. The police got involved and a man named Kang shot Shen in the chest. In retaliation, Shen killed him.”

“Well, how does Chan tie into this?” - Drago.

From his pocket, Seymour pulls out a picture of a man named Kang, his wife and a 5 year old.

“Kang had shot him because at the time the mole was discovered his wife was killed. She was a fisherwoman bringing home her catch for the day.”

“They… They…They are my parents.” - Jackie.

“W-What? I thought Shen had killed everyone--!” - Seymour

Seymour had read Drago and Jackie’s minds as he drove them to Hollowlands Penitentiary (with the permission of Jackie’s family), where Jackie meets Mr. Huo face-to-face. He wants to be mad, but Shen is too scary for him to be mad.

A nervous Seymour explains to Shen everything while Drago is yelling and cursing at him. This goes on for almost half an hour. He’s not even looking at them; he’s looking dead at Jackie and Jackie himself realizes this.

“You look familiar.” - Mr. Huo

“M-Me?” - Jackie

“You’re saying I killed this kid’s parents back then? Huh, no wonder why he seems familiar. Maybe if I had killed this kid too, my tracks wouldn’t have been uncovered,” Shen laughs.

“That’s not funny! You practically took his world away from him!” - Drago

“And so what do you want me to do? Apologize? Too late for that! If anything, that fisherwoman and policeman had what was coming to them. They were the ones who put themselves in danger getting close to the mafia.” - Shen

“Brother... ” - Seymour

“Of course I do. A true Bā Wáng doesn’t take back their actions! Zi Long would never have the potential of becoming one. He’d chicken in and out all the time, like you, brother.” - Shen.

“Ruin my life, that’s okay. I’m so used to it, you even ruined mom’s life and I’m indifferent towards that. Ruin someone else’s and you’ve gone too far! I hope you rot in hell!” - Drago says, and drags Jackie out the penitentiary.

“I’ll be glad not to see you anymore!” - Shen

Driving back to the San Francisco High Graduation, Seymour is scolding his nephew on his choice of words.

“I always knew the Bā Wáng was a group not to be messed with, but you guys have gone too far messing with innocent people like that! People like Jackie’s lives will be affected because of your carelessness, Unc!” - Drago

“At least try and show some respect to your father! At least you’re not the one in jail! You’re not in the Bā Wáng, so what would you know? Maybe if there wasn’t a mole in Shen’s gang, then maybe the tragedy wouldn’t get to happen!” - Seymour

“There’s no way he’s getting my respect! And ALL of you are part of this! You’re his brother, maybe you could’ve intervened, but no! Maybe if you learned to stop thinking about sleeping with every girl that happens to be interested in you every chance you get, maybe you could’ve seen the mole in my father’s gang!”

“That’s not true Zi Long and you know it!”

The whole time Seymour’s driving crazy thanks to the ongoing argument, Jackie’s able to see how much Drago’s changed from the football jerk he was at the beginning of the year. Drago was actually defending him.

“It’s okay. It’s going to be wierd if I say this, but I’m kinda glad I didn’t live with my parents. Not that they were bad parents; they were decent. They wouldn’t have taught me about humility and honesty the way my uncle did. Mafia or not, your dad did me a bit of a favor.“ - Jackie

The argument in the car stops, the air is now relaxed. Seymour can better focus on his driving.

“Jackie, you don’t understand… ” - Drago

“Maybe some things, positive or negative, do happen for a reason. Maybe this way, through jail you can finally sit down and have a talk with your dad.” - Jackie

Drago’s scowl turns into a laugh of disbelief. “Wow Chan. You’re so wierd. Now I know you’re insane. There’s no way I’m talking to my father about anything because there’s nothing I need to talk about.” - Drago

The very next day, Drago is looking into his father’s eyes through the jail window, talking about what seemed to be a normal conversation in who-knows-how-long.
