Tension was lingering in the air as you eyed Jack as he walked into your shared bedroom. The argument that had taken place earlier left the two of you not speaking to one another since early in the afternoon. You wanted to put an end to it because the last thing that you ever wanted to do was fight with your husband.
“Um, babe? Where are you going?” You asked as you sat up from your position on the couch in the corner of the bedroom as you saw him getting an outfit together.
“The Hub. I'm doing a set.” He quietly responded as he took off his shirt and threw it into the hamper without bothering to look over at you.
“Since when? You didn't tell me that.”
“Aren't you going out with Taylor? I only did it because I thought you told me you would be with her. Besides I do recall earlier you saying that you didn't want to be around me. So I'm doing what I was told.”
“Well that was earlier and I want to call a truce. You had an entire attitude with me for no reason. But no, she had to reschedule. I thought we could stay in with it being just us. We haven't had a night to ourselves in a while.” You told him as he walked over towards you with an expression on his face that you couldn't quite read.
“Y/N, I dropped the triplets off with my parents so I could go.”
“I-... not you calling me by my first name. Well, can't you do it another day?” You asked as you wrapped your arms around him. But it didn’t look like you were about to change his mind.
“When I stop being mad at you, that's when your name goes back to being baby. And no, I already told them I was coming.” He replied as he moved your hands away from him.
“But…”
“I have to get ready so I won't be late. Call hot chips and bad decisions.”
“They're busy and I want my husband.”
“Hmm, tough because you said the opposite earlier.” Jack replied as he walked away from you and headed towards the bathroom as you rolled your eyes.
“I know you rolled your eyes at me and if you keep doing it they're going to get stuck like that.”
“You weren't even looking at me!”
“Doesn't matter. How long have I known my wife? Since I was fourteen? I know you like the back of my hand.”
A few minutes later, you heard the shower turn on and you went back to reading your book as you sighed. This had been your first night without the triplets in a while and as much as you were trying to take advantage of it, your husband wasn't budging.
When Jack walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, you slowly lowered your book so that you could look at him. He wasn't paying you any attention and it made you feel some type of way.
“Smush?”
“Yes?”
“You still have an attitude with me but I want a kiss.”
“You'll get one before I leave and no I don't.”
“Yes you do! And you NEVER deny giving me kisses. Stop being mad at me!” You whined as you put your book down next to you and pouted as you crossed your arms.
“No one is denying you anything. I'm trying to hurry up so I won't be late.”
“You hate me.”
As those words left your mouth, Jack slowly turned his head to look at you and gave you a blank stare.
“If I hated you, we wouldn't be married. Stop saying stupid shit that isn't true. Starting to piss me off all over again.”
You made a face at him before proceeding to pick up your book once more to let Jack finish getting ready. When he was fully dressed, you got a whiff of his cologne as he put it on and it immediately made you stop in your tracks.
Got damn he smelled good.
“Is that new?” You asked him and all he did was shake his head no.
“I've had it for a while, just never used it. Got it in Cannes.”
As Jack turned around to come towards you, he was startled as he noticed that you were now next to him and wrapped your arms around him once more.
“Who are you wearing that for!?”
“Do not fucking start.”
“That smells really good. Can I have my kiss now or multiple? Or you can just take my clothes off too. Whatever works.” You said as you squeezed him tighter.
“I… what?”
“I don't want you to leave.”
“I'm giving you a kiss and then I'll see you when I come back but you'll probably be asleep.”
“But…”
“Take it or leave it.”
“Fine.” You mumbled as Jack leaned down to kiss you and you made sure to keep a tight hold on him. He noticed that you wouldn't let him go and simply placed several more kisses on your lips.
“Y/N, I can't go anywhere if you don't let me leave.”
“I know that's the entire point. How long will you be gone? And stop calling me Y/N!”
“Not that long. The sooner you let me go, the sooner I come back and that was the name you were given at birth.”
“Actually it wasn't, but that's a whole nother story. My mother, well grandmother changed it. But I don't think you need to go anywhere anymore.”
Jack let out a frustrated sigh as he wiggled out of your grasp.
All you did was go and stand in front of the bedroom door and cross your arms.
“What…. What are you doing?”
“Standing here so you can't leave.”
“That's cute. Really cute actually.”
“I'm not cute, I'm horny and you are NOT fulfilling your duties as my husband!” You explained to him and he did not look impressed.
“Remember what you said earlier or do I have to remind you again?” He replied as he checked the time on his phone.
“Well that was earlier and now I want you to rearrange my guts.”
All Jack did was walk over towards you and you thought he was leaning down to kiss you, however he simply picked you up and moved you to the side but not before leaning down to whisper in your ear.
“Excuse me, little one.”
“I… JACKMAN!”
“See you when I get back and stop all that yelling.” Jack replied as he was walking down the steps and you were right behind him.
“Nooooo! We're not done here! Just put the tip in!”
“You are no better than a man, I swear.” As he went to open the door, you hugged him from behind.
“Babyyyyy! Pookie! Smush!”
“No.”
“Damn, you probably won't even let me suck your dick so I know you're mad at me. You probably put that cologne on to find another wife.”
“Your mouth gets you in so much damn trouble sometimes.” Jack responded as he turned around to see you looking up at him.
“But, it also gets me out of it.”
“Hmm.”
“Hmm, what?”
Before he responded to you, he took hold of your neck and lightly squeezed it.
“I will put you through the fucking mattress and you won't be able to walk properly for a week if you keep playing with me.”
You couldn't help but to smirk at him knowing that it would piss him off more.
“Who's playing, babe? Certainly not me. You got your wife so wet right now and she can't understand for the life of her why you won't do anything about it.”
By this point, you knew he was completely done with you with the way his neck vein was protruding, indicating his frustration.
“Don't you want to see how wet I am?” You asked as you grabbed his hand and moved it to the waistband of your shorts.
When you heard him sigh, you knew that you had won.
“Get on the couch and do not making a fucking sound or I'll stop. Face down, ass up. I have ten minutes.”
“Yesssss! I knew you'd fold. With the way things are going, you're probably going to make me come undone in five.”
“This doesn't change anything and I’m still mad at you.”
“We'll see about that in ten minutes.”
“I'm definitely wearing this cologne every day if this is your reaction to it.”
“Jackman, we will end up with twenty children if you do that.”
“Doesn't bother me. I love how you look when you're pregnant. And your boobs will probably get even bigger so it's a win for me.”
“Hmm, just like a man.” You mumbled as you rolled your eyes as the two of you were now on the couch.
“Well you were yelling at me to just put the tip in earlier so you aren't any better.”
“And I'd do it again too.”

To say you were excited was an understatement, Jack was finally coming home after being gone for so long, his tour ended and he was now free to come home and spend time with you.
The timing was perfect, as season one of the show you’re working on just ended and you get the much-needed break you deserved, what’s better than spending it with your man?
“How much longer til you get here?” you spoke into the phone once Jack answered the call. “No hello babe, how you doing… just skip to that huh?” he questioned as he let out a laugh. “Hi babe, how are you doing?” you respond as you roll your eyes. “I’m doing good.”
“I’m almost there about two hours away,” he continued and a huge smile broke out on your face. The two of you stayed on the phone for two minutes before exchanging goodbyes, you went on about your day, cleaning around the house to pass the time.
You hopped in the shower to freshen yourself up, taking out the new lingerie set you brought the other day for this moment, you knew Jack would love you in it.
You are snapped out of your thoughts as you hear a ping sound that comes from your phone. Once you pick it up and view what it says on the screen, you notice Jack sent you a message, immediately on your phone.
Jack: will be there soon, can’t wait to see your fine ass!
You felt your cheeks begin to heat as you started imagining how it would go once he was here, imagining how his hands would travel down your body to grip the swell of your ass as he laid hickeys all over your neck so he could let people know that you were only his to touch.
An idea pops into your mind as you want to get ready for when he would get there, you move aside the comforter, climb into bed, laying on your back as you spread your legs apart.
You wet two fingers with your saliva, using your other hand to move your panties to the side as you start circling your clit gently in circles while you think about the last time you and Jack were together, how he took real care of you.
Having you face down and ass up with the perfect arch he loves as he holds on to your hips while he fucks you into the mattress, nothing but your sweet moans and his groans filling the room. Soft moans spew out your mouth as you reminisce, so deep in thought that you don’t hear the door open.
“My my, look what we have here."
His voice sends shivers through your body, you freeze your movements at the sight of him leaning against the door frame, looking so handsome in his white tee and gray sweatpants.
"Oh don’t mind me, I'm just enjoying the view. this is a nice way to greet me," he adds as he makes his way towards you, capturing your lips with his once he gets close to you, grabbing the hand you had on your pussy gently moving it up to his face; breaking the kiss to lick your juices from your fingers, humming as he does so.
"I'm so happy you are finally here," you say, eyeing the bulge in his sweatpants heavily. "I forgot how good you taste,' he comments. "I can't wait any longer, I need you now."
You watch as he goes over to the window, opening up the nude curtains til he couldn't anymore before walking back to you; taking your hand once again, gently dragging you to your feet and he could see a bit of confusion mark on your face.
"I wanna fuck you right against the glass so everyone can see how good you take it," Jack states, with a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips, it would also get the guy living next door to back off what was his and his only.
He bends you over, your hands place on the window as he stands back a bit, admiring the swell of your ass. "I love this on you, baby." you smile at his compliment as you feel his fingers pull down your panties, letting it drop to the floor.
As soon as Jack pulls both his sweatpants and boxers off, he’s lining up his tip to your entrance; you grind against his it attempting to try to put it in yourself but he holds you in place. “Hmm, impatient are we?”
“Well of course, it’s been a long while, I need it now, please…” you whine, you hear a chuckle from him briefly before impaling your gummy walls; pushing his cock deep inside you, groans can be heard as his pelvis flushes against your ass.
“So fucking tight…” he groans, gripping your waist tight as he rocks his hips back and forth finding the pace he wants to start off in. You bite your lip, holding in the moan that wants to escape your throat.
“I missed feeling your warm gummy walls,” he begins. “I’m so happy that I’m the only one who gets to feel just how good your pussy is.” Your moans fill the room along with his, enjoying every moment of your reunion.
Your eyes are half closed as you focus on keeping your balance while you synchronize with his rhythm, your ass ricocheting against his pelvis.
“I can feel that you’re close, baby.” He says, as he lays a hard smack on your ass, rubbing and squeezing it afterwards. “I’m cumming…” you whine, releasing your orgasm, your juices drenching the floor and dripping down your leg while you let out a pornographic moan.
Jack watches as you get on your knees becoming eye level with his dick that's aching to get its release.
You swirl your tongue around his pinkish tip as you give his shaft a few pumps before parting your lips to take him into your mouth. Your saliva makes it easy enough for you to slide his whole length down your throat. You look up at him and see his brows knitted together as he lets out small moans making your cunt clench around nothing.
You begin to move your head up and down his shaft, sucking in your cheeks to cause more friction against his throbbing cock.
Jack lets out a groan as he looks down at you, thinking of how pretty you looked as you continuously bobbled your head like a toy as you took his erect pulsating cock down your throat, occasionally the tip brushing past your gag reflex.
Jack misses the feeling of your mouth on his cock, your mouth was like magic as you work your way up from his base to his tip, fondling his balls and all he can feel is pleasure as he let out groans while watching you.
“Keep going just like that...” he moans out, not taking his eyes off of you as you look up at him with tear-filled eyes as you hold your position, continuing bobbing your head up and down as drool makes its way down your chin.
You moan onto his member, you know how much he loves it when you do that. You feel his cock twitch inside your mouth, a common tell that he was about to come. You look up to see his eyes become half-lidded and you continue your relentless pace, massaging his balls once more.
Jack places his hand behind your head as he pushes you down more on his cock as a couple of praises leave his mouth as he feels the coil snap in his stomach as his thick white cum spurts in your mouth, hitting the back of your mouth.
You wait til he empties his whole load into your mouth before releasing his cock with a pop, lines of saliva dripping onto his cock.
Swallowing every last drop and sticking out your tongue to show him that you did. Jack looks down at you with admiration in his eyes. He wraps his hand around your throat gently, bringing you to your feet. “You’re amazing.” He praises before connecting his lips to yours, the kiss was sloppy and tender, both of you still yearning for more.
"Ready for round two?"

From the Dining Table
chapter 01
Tumblr media Tumblr media
20 Years Ago
Jack sat on the couch with his hands pressed against his head, hoping that the pressure against his temples would stop the war that was going through his mind. The engagement ring sat on the coffee table between them. Across from him sat actress Scarlett Hayes, his fiancée for barely six months—she stared at him in disbelief, her voice shaking.
“Are you trying to hurt me?” Scarlett whispered, her fingers curled around the edge of the chair, as if holding on to something, anything would keep her from crashing out.
Jack couldn’t even look at her. He knew her eyes were full of questions that he didn’t have the strength or balls to answer. Jack’s chest tightened as her voice grew louder, more desperate.
“Talk to me! We’ve been through too much for you to just walk away like this. You owe me a reason.”
He closed his eyes, inhaling deeply. The words were stuck in his throat, a tangled mess of guilt, fear, and love. How could he tell Scarlett that it wasn’t her fault? That he was breaking her heart to save her from something worse? That deep down, he wasn’t sure he was the man she deserved?
“I can’t,” he said finally, his voice barely above a whisper.
Scarlett stood up, the chair scraping harshly against the floor. “You can’t what? You can’t explain? You can’t love me anymore? What?” Her frustration spilled over, and she ran a hand through her hair, pacing the room. “Do you even care about how this is affecting me? I thought we were happy, I thought we were going to—”
“Stop.” Jack's voice cracked. He could barely stand hearing her hope shatter with every word. But still, he couldn’t give her the explanation she wanted. What was he supposed to say? That he wasn’t ready? That he felt like he was losing himself in this life they were building? That his career, his demons, and the past he carried were dragging him away from the future they were supposed to share?
“I can’t do this right now,” he muttered, his eyes glued to the floor. “I’m sorry.”
Her eyes welled up, and she stood there for a moment, staring at him like he was a stranger. He knew what she was thinking—how could someone who claimed to love her so deeply suddenly become so distant?
“I deserve better than this,” she finally said, her voice barely holding together. “I deserve to know why.”
Jack clenched his fists, resisting the urge to pull her into his arms, to kiss her forehead like he used to and tell her everything would be alright. But he couldn’t make that promise anymore. The truth was, he didn’t trust himself not to hurt her again. He wasn’t the man she needed him to be.
“I’m sorry,” he said again, and it felt hollow, empty—just like him. He stood up and walked toward the door without looking back. She didn’t try to stop him this time.
Just as his hand reached for the doorknob, her voice pierced the silence, sharp and broken.
“I hate you.”
Jack froze, his back still to her. The weight of those three words hit him harder than anything she could have said. He felt it in his chest, a pain so deep it was almost physical.
“You’re pathetic, I hate you,” she said again, louder this time. “And I’ll always hate you.”
He stood there, unable to move, Scarlett’s words echoing in his mind. He deserved them. Every last syllable. But that didn’t make it hurt any less.
Without turning around, he opened the door and walked out, leaving behind the woman he loved more than anything, knowing she would never forgive him. Knowing he had lost her forever and it was all his fault.
***
Twenty years later, Scarlett sat in front of a row of reporters at a press junket for her latest film. The years had been kind to her—she’d rebuilt her life, piece by piece, becoming one of the most respected actresses in the world. She was on the brink of becoming an EGOT winner—a feat few could claim.
Life had moved on, and so had she. She’d married another actor a few years after the breakup. They had a beautiful daughter together, though the marriage didn’t last. Despite the divorce, she and her ex-husband had managed to co-parent well, and their daughter, Maya, now 14, was the light of her life.
Yet, certain memories from the past had a way of creeping into her mind when she least expected it.
As the last few questions were being asked, one reporter raised their hand. “What advice would you give to the person you were 20 years ago?”
Scarlett paused. The question wasn’t unusual, but it took her by surprise. Twenty years ago. The number tugged at her, pulling her back to a version of herself she hadn’t thought about in a long time. A version who’d just had her engagement broken off without an explanation. A version who felt shattered, blindsided, and unsure of where to go next.
She took a breath before answering, her voice calm and thoughtful. “I would tell her to trust herself more. To understand that sometimes the things that break you aren’t meant to destroy you, but to reshape you into someone stronger.” She paused, her eyes softening, as if she were talking directly to her younger self. “And that the pain, as overwhelming as it might feel in the moment, will eventually become the foundation for the person you’re supposed to become.”
She smiled, a small, almost private one, as if the advice wasn’t just for the person she was 20 years ago, but also for herself in the present. The reporters scribbled down her response, sensing there was more behind her words than just a general piece of advice.
But Scarlett didn’t elaborate. She thanked the reporter for the thoughtful question and moved on to the next, keeping the rest of her thoughts to herself.
When Scarlett returned to her hotel room. She closed the door softly, the quiet of the room a welcome contrast to the frenzy of the press junket. Dropping her purse on the table, she exhaled deeply, trying to shake off the emotions that had surfaced when she answered that last question. Memories of the past always had a way of creeping back when she least expected it.
Maya was lounging on the couch, looking up from her phone as Scarlett walked in. She was 14, full of energy and curiosity, with the kind of bright eyes that reminded Scarlett of herself at that age. But there was also a resilience in her daughter—one that seemed far beyond her years.
“Hey, Mom,” Maya called out casually, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “How did it go?”
She smiled, though it didn’t quite reach her eyes. “It went well. Same questions, different faces.”
Maya set her phone down, sitting up a little straighter. “You look tired. Want me to order room service or something?”
Scarlett chuckled softly. “Maybe in a bit.”
Maya hesitated for a moment before her expression shifted to something more excited. “Actually, I wanted to ask you something. And don’t say no right away.”
“Oh boy,” Scarlett said, playfully bracing herself as she sat down on the edge of the bed. “What is it?”
“Well,” Maya began, drawing out the word like she was preparing for a big reveal, “I found out that while we’re in town, Jack Harlow is performing. And… I really want to go.”
Scarlett’s stomach knotted instantly at the thought. Jack Harlow. The man who had walked out of her life without an explanation two decades ago. The rapper who had become even more successful over the years, topping charts with multiple number-one albums and winning five Grammys. He was everywhere, even if they had managed to avoid each other at every awards show, every industry event, every red carpet. They had perfected the art of pretending the other didn’t exist.
Now, the idea of seeing him again—of watching him perform while sitting in the audience with her daughter—made her chest tighten. But how could she say no to Maya? She adored her daughter, and Maya was at the age where she idolized the rapper, just like millions of others.
She swallowed, trying to keep her expression neutral. “Jack Harlow….?”
“Yes!” Her daughter’s eyes lit up with excitement. “I’ve been dying to see him live, and it’s crazy that we’re here at the same time. Please, Mom? I know you’re busy this week, but I have to go to this concert. It would be amazing.”
Scarlett tried to keep her tone casual as she spoke. “You know, sweetie, maybe your dad could take you to the concert instead? I’m sure he’d love to go with you.”
Maybe paused, looking at her mom in disbelief. “Dad?” she asked, as if the thought hadn’t even crossed her mind. “No way.”
She raised an eyebrow, “Why not? He loves concerts, we used to go to concerts all the time together before you were born.”
Maya plopped down on the bed, shaking her head firmly. “Mom, you don’t understand. Dad can be so embarrassing sometimes. I mean, he’d probably try to rap along to the songs and think he’s cool, or worse—he’d make some weird joke in front of people. I can’t have that happening in front of him,” she said, referring to Jack.
Scarlett stifled a laugh. She knew her ex-husband’s quirky sense of humor all too well. He was a great dad, but yeah… maybe not the best choice for a situation like this. “I’m sure it wouldn’t be that bad,” she tried.
Maya wasn’t convinced. “Mom, I love Dad, but he’s not exactly cool, you know? When you mention TikTok he thinks you’re talking about that Kesha song.” She rolled her eyes dramatically. “Please, Mom. You’re way cooler.”
Scarlett sighed, her plan to avoid the concert quickly unraveling. “I don’t know, honey,” she said, hesitating. “It’s just… I’ve got a lot going on with the press tour, and I might be too tired. Maybe—”
Maya looked at her, wide-eyed and pleading. “Mom, this is literally a once-in-a-lifetime thing. You’re always working. Just this once, can’t we do something fun together? Please?”
She felt a pang of guilt. She had been so focused on her career, the press, and everything else that had happened over the years that she hadn’t made enough time for moments like this with her daughter.
But the idea of being at his concert, seeing him again, was terrifying. Still, as she looked at her daughter, who was practically begging her, Scarlett found herself trapped. Maya didn’t deserve to be punished for something that had happened long before she was born.
“Okay,” she said, surprising herself with how steady her voice sounded. “We’ll go.”
Maya squealed, reaching over to hug her tightly. “Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is going to be the best night ever!”
***
Backstage, Jack sat in front of the mirror, his head bowed as he tied his new balance. His crew moved in and out of the dressing room, prepping for another sold-out show. Tonight was special. Every show was, but something about performing in this city always felt like coming home.
His phone buzzed on the counter beside him, but he ignored it, focusing instead on the rhythm pulsing in his veins. It was the pre-show adrenaline, the high he chased every time he stepped on stage. The crowd would be chanting his name in a few minutes, and he needed to be in the zone.
Urban pushed through the door camera in hand and a knowing grin plastered on his face.
“You’ll never guess who’s here tonight,” Urban said, his voice full of intrigue.
Jack didn’t look up, a half-smile tugging at his lips. Urban always had something to say, always some gossip or story to break up the tension. He figured it was just one of the usual celebrity guests, a fan or two from another showbiz circle.
“Who?” he asked, humoring him as he stood and stretched out his arms, preparing himself mentally for the setlist.
Urban leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, that grin not fading. “I’m serious, man. You’ll never believe it.”
“Alright, then. Hit me with it. Who’s in the building?” he asked, half-paying attention, still in his pre-show mode.
Urban paused for dramatic effect, letting the silence stretch just long enough before dropping the bombshell. “The one that got away.”
Jack laughed, shaking his head as he grabbed his jacket from the chair. “Man, stop playing. I ain’t got time for that.”
Urban didn’t blink. Didn’t laugh. Just stood there, his smile shifting into something more serious. “I’m not joking. She’s here. She came to see you.”
Jack froze, his hand hovering just above the jacket. For a second, he thought Urban was still messing with him. But Urban didn’t play like this—at least not about her.
He turned slowly, raising an eyebrow. “Who you talkin’ about?”
Urban didn’t miss a beat. “Scarlett Hayes.”
At first, all Jack could do was shake his head, the disbelief settling in. He laughed again, though this time it came out more as a breath of surprise than humor. “Nah. You’re trippin’. No way.”
But Urban’s expression didn’t budge. “I’m telling you, she’s here. Saw her myself. Came in with her daughter, I think.”
His heart stopped for just a moment. Her. After all these years?
Twenty years since they’d last spoken, twenty years since he’d walked out of that apartment without looking back, twenty years since the day she told him she hated him. The memories flooded back in an instant—the way her voice had cracked, the look in her eyes when he left her without an explanation. He had convinced himself long ago that he wouldn’t see her again. Not face-to-face. Their worlds were too big, their circles wide enough to avoid each other. And they had—for two decades.
But now?
“She’s really here?” he asked, his voice quieter this time, disbelief still hanging in the air.
Urban nodded. “Yup. Sitting somewhere out there with her kid. And from what I heard, it wasn’t even her idea to come. The girl wanted to see the show.”
Jack let out a low whistle, shaking his head as he processed it. Of all the people who could’ve been in the audience tonight, Scarlett was the last person he’d expected. Part of him had always wondered if they’d cross paths again, if there’d ever be a moment where the universe would force them into the same room, the same space. But after all these years, he had convinced himself it wouldn’t happen.
And now she was here.
He cleared his throat, feeling the weight of it settle over him. “Guess she couldn’t avoid me forever, huh?”
Urban chuckled. “Seems that way. But what you gonna do about it?”
Jack hesitated for a beat, staring at his reflection in the mirror, trying to reconcile the man he was now with the man who left her behind so long ago. He wasn’t sure. He wasn’t even sure if she would want to see him after everything that had happened.
“I don’t know,” he muttered, shaking his head, trying to focus on the show ahead of him. “But I know one thing. I ain’t letting it mess up my set.”
Urban gave him a knowing look, camera still in hand. “Good call, but she’s here, man. And something tells me the past ain’t just stayin’ in the past tonight.”
With that, Urban turned and left the room, leaving Jack alone with the thought that after two decades, she was finally in his world again. And for the first time in years, he didn’t know how to feel.
***
Jack stood center stage and took in the sold out crowd. This was his zone, his sanctuary, where nothing could touch him—where he controlled the crowd and their energy, night after night.
But tonight, something felt different. His mind kept drifting, thoughts circling back to what Urban had said backstage. Scarlett here. He had tried to shake it off, but the thought gnawed at him, even as he performed. The crowd roared louder as he transitioned into his next song, one that hadn’t been on the original setlist but was a personal favorite for fans.
“Can I slow things down for a little bit?” Jack asked the crowd as he grabbed the mic stand. The opening chords echoed through the stadium, and a hush fell over the audience. They recognized it immediately. It wasn’t one of the hits that charted on Billboard or made it onto the radio, but it was the song that fans knew had come from the deepest part of him. It was the song he wrote about Scarlett around the time he first met her.
Yeah, they fine, but they not you. You a catch and I caught you. I wanna pull up and flaunt you and take some pics for Getty Images. I like all your beauty marks and blemishes…
The lights dimmed, and the spotlight shone solely on him as he moved across the stage when he looked out into the crowd, he saw her.
Scarlett was there, in the crowd, just like Urban said. In the sea of faces, she stood out—her face illuminated by the soft glow of the stage lights, eyes locked on him. For a split second, the entire world fell away. His breath hitched in his throat, the words almost dying on his lips as they stared at each other. It was like time had stopped, and all the years between them collapsed into this moment.
She hadn’t changed much—still as stunning as she had been when they were younger, though there was something deeper, wiser about her now. She wasn’t the woman he’d left behind; she had evolved, become someone bigger, stronger, untouchable in her success. But her eyes… her eyes still held that same fire.
The next line came out rougher, almost a whisper:
Girl, you're poison, poison, poison, poison, but the good kind. It's crazy how you're on my mind. Kind of crazy how you're on my mind
Jack remembered everything—how he left, how she had yelled at him, tears in her eyes as she said she hated him, how he hadn’t been able to say a single word back. He had never told her the real reason, had never given her the closure she deserved.
The final beat hit, and the crowd erupted, cheering wildly, oblivious to the tension swirling beneath the surface. But he couldn’t tear his eyes away from her. She hadn’t moved, her expression unreadable from where he stood, but he could feel the energy between them—like a cord that had been stretched thin for years was finally being tugged back into place.
For a moment, he thought about saying something, about calling out to Scarlett right there in front of everyone. But what would he even say? How do you fix something that’s been broken for two decades?
Instead, he just stood there, the mic heavy in his hand, staring at the woman he had never really stopped thinking about, wondering if she would turn and walk away like he had so many years ago.
Urban standing off to the side of the stage with his camera, had been watching everything. He saw the moment Jack’s eyes locked with hers in the crowd. He knew his friend better than anyone, knew that despite all the bravado, all the fame and success, there was still a part of him that had never gotten over her. And there was no way in hell he was going to let this moment slip by.
Jack handed off the mic to his stagehand, blinking as if trying to clear his head, but Urban was already a step ahead. He turned to Jack’s manager standing near the stage, a determined look on his face.
“Yo, get them backstage,” Urban ordered, his voice low but firm.
Kat raised an eyebrow. “You mean—”
“Scarlett Hayes. Her and her daughter. Bring them back here. Now,” Urban insisted, waving his hand toward where they’d been sitting. “Don’t make a scene, but get it done. He’s not gonna have the balls to do it himself.”
Kat hesitated for a split second but then nodded, understanding the urgency. This wasn’t just a regular concert guest—it was someone who could change everything for the man they all worked for. She quickly made her way toward the crowd, slipping through unnoticed as the concert continued.
Meanwhile, backstage, Jack had retreated to his dressing room, the rush of the show fading as reality crashed back in. He had avoided Scarlett for so long, convinced himself that whatever they had was buried in the past, but seeing her out there had brought it all rushing back. He ran a hand over his face, pacing the small space, still replaying that moment in his head—the way her eyes had locked on his, the way she hadn’t moved an inch, frozen in place just like him.
Urban burst into the room, camera hanging from his neck, smirking like he knew exactly what had to be done.
“What the hell was that, man?” Urban asked, leaning against the doorframe with a grin. “You looked like you saw a ghost.”
Jack shot him a look, but his usual cocky demeanor was nowhere to be found. “I wasn’t expecting to actually see… her.” He rubbed the back of his neck, feeling the weight of it all.
“No kidding,” Urban said with a knowing smile. “You gonna go talk to her?”
He hesitated. “Man, I don’t know. It’s been too long. What’s there to say?”
Urban crossed his arms, shaking his head in mock disbelief. “You’re telling me after all these years, you’re gonna let this slip? Scarlett is here, in the same building, and you’re just gonna pretend like you didn’t see her?”
Jack opened his mouth to argue but couldn’t find the words. Urban was right. This was a once-in-a-lifetime moment, but the fear—the same fear that made him walk away all those years ago—was creeping back in.
Urban could see it. He rolled his eyes and stepped forward. “You know what? Don’t worry about it. I already handled it.”
Jack frowned. “What are you talking about?”
“I told Kat to bring her backstage,” Urban said nonchalantly, like it was no big deal. “Figured you’d need a little push.”
Jack’s eyes widened in shock, his heart leaping into his throat. “You did what?”
Urban shrugged, unbothered. “Relax. I didn’t have them drag her here or anything. Just made sure she knows she’s welcome. I know you, man. You’d never make the move on your own.”
Jack stared at him, panic swirling in his chest. Part of him wanted to bolt, to disappear before she showed up, but another part—maybe the part that had been carrying this regret for twenty years—knew this was his chance. This was the moment he had been avoiding, but also the one he couldn’t let slip away.
Before he could respond, there was a knock at the door.
His heart stopped.
Urban shot him a quick look, raising an eyebrow. “That’s your cue.”
Jack took a deep breath, steeling himself as he walked toward the door. When he opened it, his breath caught in his throat.
There she was. Standing in front of him was the woman who had once been his entire world, but as soon as Scarlett saw him, her expression became eerily calm, like she was slipping into a role she’d played many times before. She smiled—a smile he recognized all too well—and extended her hand toward him, as though they were meeting for the very first time.
“Hi,” she said smoothly, her voice dripping with polite indifference. “I don’t think we’ve met. I’m—”
“Nice to meet you,” Jack interrupted, his voice tense as he took her hand, gripping it lightly. The casualness of the gesture was almost unbearable. The weight of their history was right there between them, but she was pretending like it didn’t exist.
Her daughter, Maya meanwhile, wasn’t pretending at all. She stood beside her mother, wide-eyed and practically bouncing with excitement. The second she saw Jack, she let out a tiny squeal, covering her mouth with her hands, her gaze darting between him and her mother as if this were some kind of dream.
“Mom! Oh my God, it’s really him!” Maya whispered loudly, her excitement spilling over. “You didn’t tell me we’d actually meet him!”
Scarlett, still holding onto her mask of politeness, glanced at her daughter with a calm smile. “Well, sweetheart, it was a surprise. I didn’t want to get your hopes up.”
Jack blinked, momentarily stunned by the surrealness of the moment. Scarlett was really going to do this—pretend they’d never met, never loved, never been ripped apart at the seams. And her daughter had no idea.
The girl’s energy was infectious, though, and she stepped forward eagerly, her hands trembling as she extended her phone toward Jack. “Can I—can I please get a picture? This is like, the coolest thing ever! I’ve been a fan for years! I love all your songs!”
Jack glanced at Scarlett , searching her eyes for some kind of signal, but all he found was that same polite smile, so perfectly controlled. He swallowed his emotions, nodding toward Maya with a forced grin. “Of course. Anything for a fan.”
Maya practically jumped up and down, handing her phone over to Urban, who was grinning like he knew something nobody else did. The girl bounced to Jack’s side, beaming up at him as he put an arm around her for the picture.
Scarlett stood off to the side, watching the whole thing with a detached expression, her hands folded in front of her. She looked like a spectator in her own life, watching from a distance as her daughter unknowingly gushed over the man who had once broken her mother’s heart.
After the photo was taken, Maya looked up at Jack, her eyes wide with admiration. “I can’t believe this is happening. You’re such a legend! I’ve been to all your concerts. Mom, isn’t this crazy?”
Scarlett smiled again, that same well-practiced smile. “It’s quite something,” she agreed lightly, not giving anything away.
Jack looked at her, his chest tightening. He could see what she was doing—how she was keeping everything locked up, pretending like this was just another encounter, but it felt like a punch to the gut. He wanted to say something, anything, to break through that wall she’d built, but every word he thought of got stuck in his throat.
Maya, still buzzing with excitement, pulled her phone back out. “Oh! Can I get your autograph, too? I didn’t bring anything to sign, but I have my concert shirt! Wait, do you need a pen?” She began frantically digging through her bag, clearly overwhelmed by the moment.
As Maya fumbled with her things, Jack looked back at the actress, who was watching him with that same unreadable expression. He couldn’t take it anymore. He couldn’t let this moment slip by without acknowledging what was really happening.
“You sure we haven’t met before?” he asked quietly, his voice low so her daughter wouldn’t hear.
Scarlett paused for a moment, her eyes locking with his. For a split second, something flickered there—something real, raw, and unguarded. But just as quickly, she blinked, and the mask was back in place.
“I’m sure,” she said softly, her tone as smooth as ever. “Just two strangers, passing through.”
And with that, she turned her attention back to Maya, who had finally found a pen.
Jack swallowed hard, nodding numbly as he took the pen from the girl. “Yeah,” he muttered, more to himself than anyone else. “Just two strangers.”

The kindergarten classroom was buzzing with excitement, tiny voices chattering about the different parents coming to talk about their jobs. Your daughter, Ava, was practically bouncing in her seat, clutching Jack’s hand as they waited for their turn.
“Are you nervous, Daddy?” Ava whispered, her curls bouncing as she tilted her head up at him.
Jack grinned, adjusting his curly hair and the microphone he brought for his little “demo.” “Nervous? Me? Nah, I’ve played for crowds bigger than this.” He winked at her, earning a giggle.
When it was Ava’s turn, she marched up to the front of the room, pulling Jack along. “This is my dad! He’s Jack Harlow, and he’s a rapper!” she announced proudly, her voice ringing with confidence.
The kids gasped, a few whispering to each other. One boy blurted out, “What’s a rapper?”
Jack crouched down to their level, smiling warmly. “A rapper is someone who tells stories with music. I write songs and perform them for people all over the world.”
“Can you rap for us?” another kid asked, eyes wide.
Jack chuckled, glancing at Ava. “What do you think, Ava? Should I?”
Ava nodded enthusiastically, clapping her hands. “Yes, do the one about me!”
He stood up, grabbing the microphone he’d brought, and beatboxed a simple rhythm. Then he rapped a playful, kid-friendly verse he wrote just for the day:
“My name’s Jack Harlow, and I’m here to say,
My daughter Ava makes my every day.
She’s smart, she’s kind, she’s cooler than me,
The best little boss you’ll ever see!”
The kids erupted into cheers and applause. Ava beamed, looking at her classmates. “Told you my dad is the coolest!”
Jack spent the rest of his time answering questions like, “Do you know Taylor Swift?” and “Can you sing about my dog?” He even helped the kids come up with their own simple rhymes, which they performed together.
As they left the classroom, Ava squeezed Jack’s hand. “You’re the best dad ever.”
Jack smiled down at her, his heart full. “And you’re my favorite audience, baby girl.”

Masterlist ☽☾
Streaks of moonlight reflected into the room, illuminating your bare skin on the satin sheets beneath you. You laid on your side, your legs barely covered by the blanket.
Jack thought you were beautiful like this.
Yet, his hunger was high.
And that’s why he slowly slipped into the bed, shifting your body so that you rested on your back. He carefully slid your body to the end of the bed, removing the covers to reveal your glistening pussy, a sigh escaping your lips.
“Fuck.” He muttered, separating your lips with his clean and polished fingers before moving that same hand to his dick, palming at the flesh. With that he lapped at your folds, sighing at the taste of you.
Sighs combined with moans left your lips, your thighs slightly shaking. You opened your eyes to see your boyfriend staring back at you, humming into your pussy. The sound wave sent a shock to your core, arching your back to push into the mattress.
“Hey, baby. Sorry I woke you, I couldn’t help myself.” Jack spoke, toying with your folds with the other hand.
“When-“ You paused to moan.
“When did you get home?”
“A half an hour ago. I wanted to take a shower and get cleaned up before getting into bed with you. But when I came into the bedroom, you looked so irresistible. I couldn’t help myself, baby.” He continued to lap at your folds, moving to suck your clit. You arched your back once again, turning your head to look at the clock.
5 am.
You definitely weren’t going to work in the morning, you were due to wake up in an hour.
Which you were certain, Jack would not be done by then.
It was almost as if he read your mind, tapping on your thighs to get your attention.
“I talked to your boss last night. You have the rest of the week off. I’m gonna need those few days to catch up on lost time.” He smiled at you once more before diving back in.
Your legs began to shake, reflecting how close you were to coming undone.
“Jack.” You moaned, grabbing his hair.
“Go ahead, baby. Cum. I want it.” And with that, you let go, your whole body shaking in satisfaction. Jack grunted, continuously lapping at your juices until you pulled away, body continuously shaking.
“I’m not done with you, mamas.” He stood up and took off his shirt, sliding off his boxers swiftly.
“I don’t think you’ve noticed, but I’ve been palming myself ever since I started, and rutting up against the bed like a fucking animal. I need you baby. Like, right now.”
“Take me.” You spoke softly, mentally preparing yourself for the rollercoaster of sensations.
That was all he needed, as he thrust into you, sighing in satisfaction.
“Fuck, baby. You feel so good.” You pressed a hand to his abdomen, looking into his eyes.
“Hold on baby. I think you’ve grown since you left.” You chuckled, to which Jack joined you, taking the time to lazily rub at your clit.
“I’ve only been gone two weeks Y/N.” You raised an eyebrow at his comment, to which he laughed once more, your eyes rolling in annoyance.
“Two weeks is a long time Jack. I missed you.”
“I missed you too baby.” He moved up to kiss your lips, drawing you in for a long and loving one, your lips following him as he pulled away.
“Can I move now, please?” Jack asked eagerly, slowly moving his hips. You let out a laugh before nodding your head, Jack immediately pulling back before slamming back into you. You both moaned loudly, hands moving to grip the sheets before you.
“Damn baby, shit. Fuck.” You moaned out, your body shaking slightly. You tried to move away from him, yet he pulled you closer, smacking the inside of your leg.
“Don’t run from me Y/N, don’t run from this dick. Take it.” He grunted out, picking up the pace. Your moved your hands to grip on his bicep, feeling yourself grow close.
“Jack…”
“I know baby.” And with that, he flipped you over onto your knees, your chest pressing flat into the mattress. He continued his rough pace, your body becoming undone before you knew it. You yelped out in satisfaction, Jack continuing his assault on your pussy.
“Jack, I-“
“You can do it. Give me one more, I know you can.” He pulled your head back to get you to look at him, nodding your head with tears in your eyes. He kissed your cheek, pushing your chest back into the mattress. He began to rub at your clit with pressure, your legs beginning to shake.
“Cum for me baby. I need you to cum.” Jack grunted in your ear, laying kisses on your neck before you followed his command, whining.
“FUCK.” Jack grunted, his warmth filling you. He collapsed on top of you, sighing into your skin.
“You okay baby?” He asked, moving off of you, rolling you over on your back. He did a quick glance, checking to make sure you were okay. You smiled at him, to which he laughed, moving to pepper your face with kisses.
“I’m okay, baby. That felt so good.” You admitted, to which he hummed back, kissing down your body.
“Good. Because I got a couple more rounds left in me.”

Unspoken
Tumblr media
Part 1
Synopsis: Jack and Y/N have been best friend for years. She recently ended her 2 year relationship, due to moving to Atlanta for a better job opportunity. What’s going to happen when she stays with Jack for a week ?
Warning: fluffy, angst?, language and smut🧎🏽‍♀️
Y/N POV
Great!!! I finally found an apartment for myself, but I have to stay at a hotel for a week due to maintenance. I sighed as I begin to search the internet for a hotel suitable to my needs. Currently I’m at Jack’s house, cause he offered to let me stay the weekend as I sorted myself out. Moving to a new state is draining. I left a lot of my things back home as my mom said it’s good to just start fresh. So I packed what I needed and hopped on the plane. I left so much behind, even my 2 year relationship. Surprisingly, I’m okay and even happier that it ended. There wasn’t a spark between us. He treated me well, but the relationship over all was boring. I guess I kept it going for so long, because it was better than being alone.
“Alright what’s got you so stress? You been glue to the computer since you woke up” Jack says as he sits down next to me on the couch.
“The apartmentwon't be ready for another week and I need to find a hotel beca-”
“Hell no! Come on, you know you can stay here till it’s ready. I’m not taking no for an answer either. Now can you stop stressing before you explode. That vein on your forehead is serious” He starts his usual teasing. I laughed and playfully shoved him.
Arguing with him was useless. It was his way or no way. I finally close my laptop and enjoyed whatever tv show he was currently hooked on. He stretched out his left arm and placed it on the back on the couch. I crawl into my usual spot: snuggled up with a blanket.
“I missed you. I know you’re stressed but I’m happy to finally spend some time with you this week.” Jack says honestly. You were taken aback but also happy as well to be here with him.
“Me too”
Jack’s POV
She takes her usual spot on the opposite end of the couch, I so badly want to pull her close to me. As selfish as it sounds I hope her apartment takes an extra week so she could stay longer. And those god damn PJs she wears is gonna end me. She could wear a turtleneck and I’d probably still have the same reaction.
I had met her through Druski as she was working with him for a while on video concepts and managing his social media. As soon as they linked up, she got his account to gain a million followers within a month. Thats why Jack put his full trust in her when it came to his social media. He’ll give her a heart attack here or there when he posts some random video of him trying to dance. Keyword is try because he looks like he’s glitching half the time.
~~~~~
They indulge in a few episodes together before both of their stomachs start grumbling. Jack grabs his phone to open up UberEats. She gives him an insane look.
“Jack you already ordered UberEats for breakfast, do you ever actually cook?” She arched her brows at him and he just looks at her cause lowkey she ate him up with that one.
Oh yea forgot to mention, she got attitude that could last a lifetime and he fucking loved it.
“You know I can’t cook!” He tried to justify but she’s already up and headed to the kitchen scanning the pantry and fridge for a simple meal.
“Alright since you insist on me staying here for a week, you have to learn how to cook to at least survive.” She points the wooden spoon at him which causes him to laugh and throw his hands up in the air.
“Goddamn Gordon Ramsey when did you even grab that!?”
“Mmm don’t worry about that, give me a cutting board and knife stat! We making the world’s simplest meal. Pasta!”
Pasta? Yeah no, he has spent his entire life over and under cooking pasta noodles. He watches her work the kitchen like a natural, pulling out ingredients he didn’t know what was what but he tried his hardest to pay attention. She started with washing, then cutting then cooking. When it started to heat up in the kitchen, she tossed her hair up in a messy bun and in that moment Jack swore his heart could burst outta his chest.  He was trying his best not to stare inappropriately, but she was down right beautiful.
Her ex was an idiot for letting her out of his sight, but he had to thank him because he’s not letting this chance pass up. There’s been multiple times throughout their friendship that her previous relationship and his hookups were not too fond of what they had. Which caused a few months of silence here and there. It use to kill him that he couldn’t reach out to her or hear her voice. She’s the reason why most of his hookups never lasted. Even during sex he wasn’t fully present, always distracted.
As she finished up the tomato basil pasta, she turns around bumping into Jack not realizing he was so close to her. She felt so small around him, he looks down at her and smiles.
“Hi” he says as he looks into her green hazel eyes that complimented her tan skin.
“Hi…” she wish he would just kiss her, but she probably wasn’t what he even wanted. This man has the whole world at his feet. Why would he want her? They both stood there for a few extra seconds, just admiring their favorite features of the other.
He swore she bite her lip
She swore he was staring at her lips
Kiss me already they both thought.
The sizzle of the pot reminded her she needed salt, so she purposely pushes up against him to grab the salt
“Excuuuuseee me” she says innocently causing him to blush.
“Smell yummy, thank you seriously” He says as she hands him his plate. As she makes her plate last, but Jack grabs it and heads over to the dinner table. Pulling out her seat for her, she happily sits as he grabs them some wine.
“Oh my god, this is amazing!” He hums enjoying all the flavors that melt in his mouth. She’s really getting brownie points right now cause once his tummy is full he is a happy camper.
This could be them, she thought. If only he wanted her.
This could be them, he thought. If only she wanted him.
After a few glasses of wine and enjoying the food together. Jack knew she was gonna crave something sweet because anytime he took her out dessert was always a must. He took her plate and nods his head for her to follow him.
He grabs a bowl, vanilla ice cream, sprinkles, chocolate drizzle and whipped cream. Instantly her smile appears on her face, he still remembers her favorite toppings. How could he not though? He remembers everything about her. They both assisted each other is building the sundae.
“Time for the finale!! Whipped cream!” She shakes it up and hands it to him to do the honors. Jack holds down the nozzle but it was stuck. He shook it one more time confused cause he literally just bought it when he told Y/N to stay at his crib. Yes he fully stocked the house and made sure it was squeaky clean before she got there. He even went to target and Ulta and stocked up on products she’d like or needed for the guest room.
“This thing is stupid!” He holds the nozzle facing Y/N and it shoots out straight onto her neck and face. They both looked shock but Jack was trying so hard to hold his laughter in.
“Oh you little shit!” They both busted into laughter.
The wine definitely taking effect as laughter filled the air. Their stomach hurting so much from being full and the happiness that overcame them. Grabbing a towel, Jack pulls her close and the two still having the giggles. She wasn’t in control anymore because she couldn’t believe the words that was escaping her mouth.
“Lick it off of me….” Jack freezes. Is he dreaming? Is she fucking with him? Wouldn’t be a nice joke but the way she was looking at him she’s lucky she doesn’t get bent over this island right now.
“Are you sure?” He looks into her eyes wanting to confirm because if he starts god only knows if he’ll have the strength to stop.
“Yea….make me your dessert.” She wipes some whipped cream off her neck slipping her finger in his mouth to suck it off. The need growing between them as she felt his tongue lick her finger dry. His lips meeting her neck, licking up all whipped cream on her as her moans escape her mouth.
Fuck. He thought this was it, she’s gonna get eaten up tonight, he had to taste her. He was hungry for it. His hands caressing her face, as their lips finally meet. They both dreamt of this moment endless amount of times, but nothing….nothing could compare how this really felt. The little sounds she makes got him bricked up and aching. It’s almost as if she knew what effect she had on him cause her hand begins to palm him through his joggers. He groans into her mouth, causing a certain wetness to form in her panties. She never knew Jack had an aggressive side to him, she always teased him of being vanilla.
He picks her up and sets her onto the island. Slipping her shorts off and spreading her legs. No panties? Fuck, her pussy glistened from her wetness under the lights. She closed her legs, starting to feel shy.
“Nuh uh, open those legs for me. Lemme see that pretty pussy.” Oh god she loves this. He gets on his knees, kissing her lips, taking in her scent causing her hips to buck.
“Jaack please don’t tease,” she feels his breath on her as he laughs, knowing exactly what he was doing. He takes her clit into his mouth, slowly sucking and swirling his tongue. He was so fucking handsome and with your pussy in his mouth made him even hotter. Working his tongue up and down your folds, you lift you hips slightly to ride his face.
Fuck fuck fuck
Jack couldn’t believe how fucking beautiful you looked under the island lights. Everything about you just amazed him. He works his movement with yours as he sees your body tensing up.
“Fuck Jack, I’m- fuck I’m gonna cum!” In that moment he slips two of his fingers in, curving them upwards pumping them in and out. The only thing that could be heard was your cries and the wetness of your pussy. His fingers were big and long you could only imagine what he’ll stretch you out to. He pulls you close to him, placing little kisses along your cheek and neck. He lets you ride out your orgasm from his fingers. He only just begun with you, but he notices the slight sheen of sweat that covered your body.
“You have no fucking idea how long I’ve wanted you.” He places a soft kiss on her lips.
“Jack I need you, please.” She reaches into his jogger to pull him out. His tip already leaking with precum. Teasing him, she rubs his length between her wet folds causing him to groan. The lust that filled both of their eyes as they watch his tip play with her clit. Jack slipped in not being able to handle it anymore.
Y/N lets out a soft cry not realizing how big he really was. Her back was cold against the marbled island, but the way Jack started pounding into her she couldn’t possibly give a fuck about anything
“Jaackkk” she cries out throwing her head back
“I know it’s big baby, you can take it. Be good for me and take it.” His thumb starts to rub circles on her clit as he continues his ruthless thrusting. She was drunk off of his fucking. Not a single thought was running through her head besides the fact that he felt so fucking good and was deep.
“Look at you. Such a good fucking girl taking me. So beautiful baby.” He whispers his praises into her ear, till he feels her clenching him tightly. His free hand grabs the back of her hair firmly to make sure he was looking at him as she cums.
“Mmm fuck, where do you want it?” She better answer quick cause those hazel eyes looked fucked out and he could barely hold on.
“Inside me! P-please please”
Jesus Christ
He nods as he increases his speed, hitting a new spot for her causing her to come undone. She couldn’t even stop the babbling.
“I love you I-I love you Jack.” He kisses her passionately, emptying himself deep inside her.
“I love you too.” He says out of breath.
He picks her up carrying them to his bedroom. She was completely out of it, her eyes closed and sleep slowly taking over her. He couldn’t imagine this moment any better. It happened so naturally. He tucks both of them in pulling her closely. She was his. He was hers. Thank god for that fucking apartment delay.
~~~~~~~~
Y/N woke up feeling satisfied and definitely sore. Some of their friends were suppose to be flying in today to vibe for the next two days. She looks at the sleepy man next to her and smiles. They really had some nasty sex last night when just prior to that they were just best friends. She places a soft kiss on his forehead and decided to make them breakfast. She picked out some boxers and one of his t-shirts and got to work. As she was making them pancakes and eggs, the door bell rang and it was probably Druski since he had the earliest flight. She opens the door to see a girl, who looked like a super model holding a duffel bag.
“Y/N, right?”
“Uhh yeah…I’m sorry who are you?”
“I’m Jack’s girlfriend….”
Part 2? 😌

Notice Me
Tumblr media
AN: We're going to pretend that Latto was the headliner on day one because SZA is the face claim lol
Synopsis: While at Gazebo Fest with your best friend, you happen to meet Jack, and the two of you quickly take to each other. Once you part ways, you are heavy on Jack’s mind, and he's determined to see you again
Pairing: Jack Harlow x Reader
Please Do Not Repost My Content Anywhere
“Why is it so got damn hot out here?!” Your best friend Kayla asked as she was digging through her clear backpack to find something to fan herself with.
“You do realize that it's the end of May and almost June, right?” You replied as you laughed at her and took a sip of water.
The two of you were in the VIP section of Gazebo Fest and couldn't wait to see all the different performances throughout the entire weekend, but you were most excited to see your celebrity crush for as long as you could remember, Jack Harlow.
You had gotten there two days before so that it could give you some time to explore Louisville before having to go to the festival. You and Kayla had gone to Churchill Downs, Morris Deli, and to see his Hometown Hero banner. Before the two of you went home, the goal was to hit up Barrels and Billets to make your own bourbon to take back home with you.
Glancing at the time, you quickly opened the Gazebo Fest app on your phone to see who would be performing next and got excited when you saw that it was Paris Texas. As you were sliding your phone in your back pocket, Kayla started hitting your arm repeatedly.
“Ow! What is your problem?!” You exclaimed while turning to look at her.
“I spy a mullet and that can only mean that it belongs to your man. Look to your left. Okay slowly turn and look. I see Clay too!”
Doing as you were told, you quickly saw him and you felt your heart skip a beat. Kayla liked Jack and his music, but she was more so here for Vince Staples as well as the younger Harlow.
“Maybe you'll get a marriage proposal before we leave on Monday.”
“Kayla, as much as I would like that… shut up.”
“Hey, stranger things have happened.” She replied while holding her hands up in defense.
Once Paris Texas set was over, the crowd dispersed and only a few of you were left at the barricade talking and mingling amongst each other when Kayla leaned over and whispered in your ear.
“I need to pee.”
“What the? Why are you whispering? Is that supposed to be a secret?”
“I don't want to go by myself and the girl next to me told me that she would save our spots.”
“Come on then.” You said as you went and grabbed her hand.
The two of you started walking to the VIP bathrooms when your breath hitched in your throat as you saw Jack was sitting in the driver's seat of a golf cart surrounded by people on his team.
“Sike! I don't have to pee, but go over to your man! He's looking at you and smiling!”
“Kayla…” You said through gritted teeth since you knew that she knew how shy you were.
All she did was slightly push you forward as Jack waved you over to come to him.
“Hey pretty girl, enjoying yourself so far?” Jack asked you as you had finally worked up the nerve to approach him. Your heart was racing a mile a minute.
“So far, I have no complaints so my answer is yes.” You responded while smiling.
Your only goal was not to look absolutely crazy in front of him. But you were going to kill Kayla later.
“Is it your first time here in Louisville?”
“No, I've been here before, but this is the first time that I actually got to explore the city. I was here for every NPLH you had.”
“Where are you from?”
“The DMV. Maryland specifically.”
“The D stands for Delaware right?” Jack curiously asked, but you immediately shook your head no.
“Do me a favor. When you go there again, do not let anyone hear you say that. It stands for D.C. Now Delmarva is Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.” You answered while trying not to laugh.
“Then it's a good thing that I asked you, huh?”
“Yes, because somebody would have taken offense to that, believe it or not.”
“What song do you want to hear me do tomorrow?”
“I… How am I supposed to do just one?!”
“Fine. Give me your top five.”
“I need you to do every song you've ever recorded, but five does give me a little more wiggle room. Hmm, Heavy Hitter, Ghost, Sundown, Eastern Parkway, Dark Knight, and I NEED Smells Like Incense because you've never done that one live.”
“Oh, I got a day one in my presence. And that was six songs by the way.” He replied while giving you a boyish grin.
Jack was captivated the first time he laid his eyes on you earlier that afternoon from behind the Gazebo stage as he saw you and Kayla at barricade.
“I told you that it was hard for me to choose. You're lucky I didn't say Power Tools.”
“Damn, not you going back to The Handsome Harlow.”
“Have to admit it's one of my favorites.” You replied as you shrugged.
“I don't want to keep you from your friend all day, but I'll look forward to seeing you tomorrow.”
Hearing him say that made you feel as though you were going to burst from having so many butterflies.
“You won't have to look far either. I'll be barricade.”
The rest of the day you and Kayla made the most of it watching all of the performances, getting drinks, and taking pics with Urban as well as other members of Private Garden.
The next morning, both of you woke up when your alarm went off at 8 ready for the day ahead. Both of you started off with mimosas and quickly moved to taking a few shots before it was ultimately time to get ready.
What stopped you in your tracks was a notification on your Gazebo app saying that because of the weather, the doors wouldn't be opening at 1 and to stay close to your phone to keep up with the alerts.
“You can't be fucking serious. We need to get barricade!” You said as you ran to the window to look outside at the weather. For right now, the sky was simply cloudy and gloomy. Not a raindrop in sight.
“What's wrong?” Kayla asked as she opened a bag of doritos and began stuffing them in her mouth.
“The opening of the gates are delayed.” You replied as you rolled your eyes.
“Until when!?”
“I'm not sure, it didn't say. I guess they'll send out another update so we can know.”
Kayla then grabbed her phone to pull up the weather app and simply shook her head.
“Babe, I don't know. I think we just might be under a tornado warning.”
“A WHAT!? NO! WHY TODAY? CAN IT WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW?” You exclaimed while running back towards the window.
“Apparently not.”
“Let's just pray that they don't cancel it. I know you have a date with your baby daddy later. I saw mine yesterday.”
“He is literally the entire reason I came this weekend and now that might be ruined.”
“Let's just try and stay positive. We don't even have a concrete answer yet. Things could always change. But let's get our outfits together so we can be ready.”
It was now around 4 PM on Sunday and Jack was stressed. He had put so much time and effort as well as money into this and all he wanted to do was bring a music festival back to his city while having some of his favorite artists perform. He was trying not to sulk, but it was looking more and more like day 2 of Gazebo Fest wasn't about to happen.
“At least we had a good first day. You can't be mad at yourself for that.” Urban said as he sat down next to him.
“I know. I just don't want to compromise anyone's safety. People are going to be pissed.”
“They'll be pissed but they'll be alive.” He heard Clay say as he walked into the room.
“Then I need to call it.”
After he posted to his Instagram story the sad news of it being canceled, his thoughts immediately went to you.
“SHIT!”
“What? What's wrong?” Both Clay and Urban asked as they looked at him.
“The girl I was talking to yesterday.”
“You talked to a lot of girls yesterday?” Clay responded, confused as to what he was getting at.
“Not as long as I did her! The one with the curly hair!”
“Oh in VIP?”
“Yeah, and I totally forgot to ask her what her name was. Fuck.”
“Yall got a date or something we don't know about?”
“I was going to ask her when I saw her today, but now that's damn near impossible.”
Now not only was day two not happening, but he wasn’t about to see you either, until an idea came to him.
“Do you two remember what she looks like?” He asked both Urban and Clay as they nodded their heads.
“Okay, this might be a long shot, but maybe we can find her on instagram?”
“What the? How the HELL are we supposed to do that?” Clay asked, looking at his older brother in disbelief.
“The gazebo tag.” Urban answered for him and Jack simply nodded.
“Let’s get to it then.”
The three of them had been searching for a total of two hours when Urban had finally found you. He took a quick screenshot of the picture that was posted on Kayla’s page and cropped it before handing his phone to Jack.
“Found her!”
“Let me see!”
As Urban was handing Jack his phone, it slipped out of his grasp onto the carpet below and Jack quickly dove for it, but it was too late. The screen had hit the home button on the app and everything had refreshed.
“You cannot be fucking serious! It refreshed your feed!”
“Wait, I got a screenshot!”
Urban quickly took his phone back and pulled it up in his gallery to show him as Clay was now looking over both of their shoulders to see what was happening.
“But you cropped it! It doesn’t have the username anymore!” Jack said before sighing and defeat was quickly washing over him.
“Hold on, now I have an idea.” Clay said while smirking.
Jack eyed him and motioned for him to continue.
“Post the screenshot and ask your followers on instagram to find her for you.”
You and Kayla had been in your hotel room sulking for hours at the fact that Gazebo day 2 had been canceled. So the two of you quickly decided to watch Jack’s interview along with WMCJ to pass the time, until Kayla screamed at the top of her lungs while looking down at her phone.
“BITCHHHHH!”
“Leave me to sulk in peace.” You replied while putting the comforter over your head.
“I don’t think you’ll be sulking too much longer. Jack is looking for you.”
“Excuse me?” Now this caught your attention and the comforter was now lying beside you as Kayla shoved her phone in your face as you saw his post on instagram.

jackharlow: I need a favor. Someone find the girl on the left for me.
When you were done looking at it, you handed Kayla back her phone and laid back down.
“Bitch, what the fuck are you doing? Your HUSBAND is looking for you! Respond to this man!”
“But… I don’t know…” You said while playing with the ends of your curly hair.
“You don’t know what? He obviously wants to talk to you again so what’s the problem?”
“What if this isn’t even what we think it is?”
“Y/N, he made an instagram post asking millions of his followers to find you. I think he’s making it pretty clear that more than likely he wants to date you.”
“I… now I know your ass is delusional.” You said while looking at her and shaking your head.
“Well, what do YOU think the reason is? Because I KNOW my ass is right. Just respond and see what he says. It can’t hurt. You didn’t get to see him perform today so this is the next best thing. You have to learn to take chances and not be so scared all the time.”
You sat there contemplating what you were going to do when you noticed that Kayla was staring at you.
“What?”
“If you get to fuck Jack Harlow, I want a five page research paper with sources and a title page in APA format when we get back home.”
It had been around six in the evening when you had seen Jack’s post and still hadn’t thought of a way to creatively respond to it. It was now ten at night and you and Kayla were getting ready to go to an after party that Ace Pro was hosting not too far from where your hotel was when you had gotten the perfect idea once you were settled in Kayla’s car. You had quickly explained to her what the plan was and it seemed as if she was more excited than you were about you finally responding to him.
“I knew what I was doing when I picked out that outfit for you! He is bound to see you in this and rip it off the second that you two are in person.”
“KAYLA!”
“What?! Just telling the truth. Now pose so we can get a good one and post it.”

barricadebaddie: word on the street is that jackharlow is looking for me. Is that true?
Your location was set to Streets of Louisville and you were hoping that he would see it and respond.
You just hope that you didn’t take too long to answer him.
It took less than fifteen minutes for a notification to pop up on your phone saying that you had a new message on instagram.
1 New Message from jackharlow
“KAYLA HE SENT ME A MESSAGE!” The two of you had just pulled up to the club that the after party was going to take place in when your heart started beating a mile a minute once more.
“WELL OPEN IT!”
jackharlow
I meant what I said when I told you that I looked forward to seeing you today. I wanted to meet up with you tonight if you were up for it.
You
Of course I’m up for it
jackharlow
If you’re at Ace’s party I’m on my way there
You
See you when you get here
jackharlow
Then I was hoping we can go somewhere by ourselves
Your eyes went wide as you shoved your phone into Kayla’s hand who quickly took it and read the message.
“Oh yeah, yall fucking later. If you need condoms, I got you.”
“I swear I can’t take your ass anywhere.”
“Look, don’t get mad at me for being prepared.”
You
I’d like that and I’m definitely up for it
Jack had liked your message before you saw that he quickly followed you.
You and Kayla went inside and had gone all the way in the back in the far left corner as the two of you ordered drinks and simply waited for Jack to arrive. A lump felt as if it was growing in your throat that you quickly swallowed back down knowing that it was your nerves getting the best of you.
As shy of a personas you are, many times you thought about leaving and heading back to the hotel, but Kayla was right. You needed to stop being scared of your own shadow and live out of your comfort zone.
It was around 11:30 when a lot of commotion was happening near the entrance of the club, and that could only mean one thing.
Jack was finally here.
You quickly opened instagram to shoot him a message letting him know where you were and simply waited until he made his rounds as he was speaking to different people and also got into the DJ booth with Ace. When he finally glanced down at his phone, your guess was that he was reading your message and he quickly looked to his left and spotted you. A small grin came across his face as he slid his phone back into his pocket and made his way over to you.
“Have fun, I’m going to get another drink.” Kayla said as she saw Jack headed over towards you and quickly got up to make her way towards the bar before you could protest.
Once Jack had finally reached you, he leaned down to embrace you into a hug and he lightly pulled you into him, making you stand all the way up before leaning down and whispering in your ear.
“For a minute there, I thought you weren’t going to respond to me.”
“Hmm, I admit I was hesitant, but I figured why not? You obviously wanted to find me for a reason, so here I am.”
“When I see something I want, I’m persistent until I get it.” Jack replied as he played with the ends of your hair and you just knew for a fact that you were about to faint right then and there.
“And after all of that yesterday, I forgot to ask what your name was.”
“It’s Y/N.” You responded while laughing, having not even noticed that you never told him your name.
“Well, Y/N, you ready to get out of here?”
“On one condition.”
“And what’s that pretty girl?”
“A private show.”
“Hmm, of my songs or were you thinking about something else?” He asked as he leaned down to whisper in your ear once more, but this time kissed the shell of it.
“I’ll take both if you’re up for it.”
“It took me all damn day to find you, so I’m definitely up for it.”

It was another late night at the studio where Jack was listening to tracks wanting them to sound perfect for his upcoming album.
You have been accompanying him to show him support, giving your opinion when it was needed, and you always did it with a smile on your face, reassuring him when he was way too in his head.
“But I remember when you used to be fanned out. I guess that when the whole world loves you. People only got one way to stand out. All that time in the kitchen finally panned out. I put some flavor in a pot and took the bland out,” Jack rapped while his fingers played with a toothpick, waiting for your input but silence met him.
“Babe?” His eyebrows furrowed together, confused on why you were so silent as you were just talking to him a minute ago but when he swiveled his chair to face you, he noticed you fell asleep on the couch.
A smile wore on Jack’s face as he got up from his chair, quietly walked over to you, putting his jacket over you to keep you warm before sitting back down in his chair.
Jack needed to finish this up so he can bring you home but he couldn’t help but to continue to look at your sleeping figure.
There was one thing Jack was sure of; if his career didn’t work out, he would have still had you by his side as you have always been there through everything.
You were his ride or die, Jack could not imagine a life without you. He was so into his thoughts that he didn’t notice the door to the studio open. “You good?” Urban questions as he notices how deep in thought Jack is as he sits in the chair right next to him.
“Yeah I was just thinking about something…” Jack trails off as something new pops into his mind, and before he goes to reveal what it was, he makes sure that you’re in a deep sleep so you wouldn’t hear the conversation.
Once he's in the clear, he takes a deep breath as Urban makes a blunt. "I'm thinking of finally proposing to [Name]."
"She has been there with me from the start,' Jack spoke as Urban listen quietly. "She always supported me even when there were times I doubted myself."
"About time," Urban blurt out, making Jack laugh. "I thought of doing it a long time ago but I didn't think I was ready and the thing with [Name], I didn't feel the need to rush into things which made me feel relax whenever I was around her."
"I don't think I can find another girl like her, nor do I think I can let her walk out of my life," he ramble as his eyes stay on you. "I want to give her my last name and then when it's time, start a family with her."
“I just need to get the ring and the perfect place to propose at.”
“Well you can scratch off at a football game, she thinks it cheesy and overdone,” Urban replies as he raises the spliff to his mouth.
Jack lets out a laugh at that. “Nah man it got to be special.” The sound of his laugh echoes through the room making your eyes flutter open, confused on what was happening and as soon as the sleep escapes you, you tune into their conversation.
“She’s definitely the one for me and nothing can change that.” A huge smile forms across your cheeks as you close your eyes back to make it seem like you were still sleeping and didn’t hear what he said.

1. I Didn’t Mean to Fall in Love

Maryse stirred awake, stretching her arms above her head before turning over to face Jack, who had gotten home late the night before from a business trip in New York.
She blinked sleepily at him, ready to say good morning, but before she could, he pulled her closer, a sly grin on his face.
He gently placed a finger to her lips and whispered, “Do you hear that?”
Maryse frowned slightly, her ears straining to catch whatever sound he was talking about. “Hear what?” she whispered back.
He leaned in, his voice low. “Exactly. The babies are still asleep for once.”
Her eyes widened as realization dawned, and she let out a soft laugh. “Wait… no crying? No babbling? No toys getting thrown?”
“Not a peep,” he said, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “It’s like a miracle. A small, peaceful miracle.”
Maryse giggled, burying her face in his chest. “Don’t jinx it. They’ll probably be up any minute now.”
Jack laughed quietly, pressing a kiss to her forehead. “You’re probably right. But for now, let’s enjoy the silence. It’s rare these days.”
She hummed in agreement, nuzzling closer to him. Jack grinned, pulling her even closer as he rested his chin on top of her head. “You know, you could just skip that meeting and that interview today and stay in bed with me all day. Like we used to. No meetings, no emails—just us.”
Maryse laughed softly, tilting her head back to look at him. “Oh, yeah? And what about the twins? You think they’re just gonna let us lounge around like we’re on vacation?”
He shrugged with a smirk. “They’re still asleep. We’ve got at least… fifteen more minutes of peace. Maybe twenty if we’re lucky.”
She raised an eyebrow. “And when they wake up screaming for breakfast, then what?”
He leaned down, brushing his lips against hers. “Then I’ll handle it. Diapers, bottles, the works. You just stay here and relax.”
Maryse laughed again, shaking her head. “You really think we can just pretend we’re not parents for a day?”
“Why not?” he said with mock seriousness. “I’m pretty sure they owe us for all those sleepless nights.”
She playfully swatted his chest. “You’re impossible. I can’t skip the meeting or that interview, and you know it.”
He sighed dramatically, flopping onto his back like a kid who didn’t get his way. “Fine. Go be responsible and productive. But I’m telling you, one of these days, you’re skipping everything, and we’re staying in bed all day. No excuses.”
Maryse leaned over and kissed his cheek. “Deal. But until then, welcome to parenthood baby daddy.”
She started to stretch again, she paused and turned to him, resting her head on her hand. “How was your meeting yesterday? You didn’t say much about it last night.”
Jack shrugged, his fingers absentmindedly tracing circles on her arm. “It was good. We talked about the next era, ideas, plans. I’m excited… but I don’t know. I feel like I’ve made some great music, but I still don’t think I’ve dropped anything incredible yet. You know, something that no one can argue about.”
She frowned slightly, shifting closer to him. “What are you talking about? People love your music. You’ve had plenty of hits. Why are you so hard on yourself?”
He sighed, staring up at the ceiling. “I’m proud of everything I’ve done. I really am. But there’s always that little voice in the back of my head saying, ‘You can do better.’ I want the next era to be undeniable. Like, no debate—it’s legendary.”
Maryse reached out, cupping his cheek and turning his face toward her. “You’re already legendary to me. And I know whatever you do next will be incredible because you don’t settle for anything less.”
He smiled softly, leaning into her touch. “Thanks, babe. That means a lot.”
She smirked, brushing her thumb over his cheek. “Now, since I’ve boosted your ego, you can get up and make me tea before I have to get ready.”
He chuckled, pulling her into a quick kiss. “Anything for my number one fan.”
****
After getting showered and dressed, Maryse heard the unmistakable sounds of childish screams and giggles echoing from the kitchen. She smiled to herself, knowing the twins were up and in full swing, and Jack was likely handling their breakfast routine.
When she walked downstairs, her heart melted at the scene before her. London was bouncing happily in her baby bouncer, squealing every time she swung forward. Across the room, Jack was seated at the kitchen table with Noah on his lap. Noah was holding a slice of apple in his tiny hands, gnawing at it while Jack rapped quietly to himself, his phone in one hand as he quickly typed lyrics with his free fingers.
Maryse leaned against the doorway, soaking it all in. The sound of Noah’s laughter and London’s squeals, coupled with the soft cadence of Jack’s voice, filled the kitchen with a warmth she adored. Mornings like this were loud and chaotic, but they were everything to her. She almost didn’t want to leave for her meeting.
Jack glanced up from his phone and caught her watching. He gave her a lopsided grin, his voice softening. “You just gonna stand there and stare, or you gonna come say good morning?”
She walked over, pressing a kiss to Noah’s chubby cheek before running a hand through Jack’s hair. “Good morning, my favorite boys. What’s on the breakfast menu today?”
Jack laughed, nodding toward the half-empty plate of apple slices as Maryse walked over to London to give her kisses. “Apples and vibes. We’re keeping it simple.”
Maryse shook her head with a laugh. “I almost don’t want to leave.”
Jack raised an eyebrow, his grin turning mischievous. “Then don’t. I told you, skip the meeting.”
She giggled, kissing his forehead before slipping on her blazer. “Tempting. But duty calls.”
Maryse gave herself one last look in the mirror when she noticed London in the background, who was still bouncing around when something caught her eye—the tiny shoes on her feet.
Her eyes widen as she takes in the shoes: they’re miniature versions of the New Balance sneakers Jack recently designed. She crouches down and gently lifts London’s tiny foot to get a better look, her heart melting at the sight.
“Jack, when did you get these?” she asked him, her voice tinged with surprise.
He looks up from his phone, grinning. “I had them made a couple weeks ago. Wanted the twins to be rocking the best, you know?”
Maryse shakes her head with a laugh, her eyes still glued to the tiny sneakers. “They’re so adorable. I can’t believe you didn’t tell me.”
“I wanted it to be a surprise,” he says with a shrug, leaning back against the kitchen chair. “Look at them, though. Don’t they look fly?”
“They do,” she agrees, her voice softening as she gazes at her children. “Too cute for their own good.”
She leans in and kisses London on the cheek, then ruffles Noah’s hair before standing up. “Alright, I really have to go now, or I’m going to be late.”
Jack watches her grab her bag, a playful grin on his face. “Last chance to stay here with us today
Maryse rolls her eyes with a smile as she heads toward the door. “I’ll be back soon.”
***
Maryse was in the bathroom stall, changing her outfit after she spilled tea on the shirt right before her video interview with The Breakfast Club. The door swung open, and two women walked in, their voices bouncing off the tiled walls.
“I just don’t get it,” one of them said, her tone dripping with judgment. “Have you noticed he never posts the kids’ faces? That’s probably because he’s embarrassed.”
Maryse’s heart dropped, and her grip on her bag tightened.
“Exactly,” the other woman chimed in. “I mean, he’s this huge rapper, and now he’s stuck with twins? He’s probably second-guessing everything. Honestly, I wouldn’t blame him. She’s the one who trapped him.”
She shook her head in disbelief, her jaw clenching as their cruel words filled the small space. She knew exactly why she and Jack didn’t post the twins’ faces—it was to protect them from people like this. People who were so judgmental, invasive, and downright rude.
“And the thing is,” the first woman continued, lowering her voice, “it’s not like she’s some stay-at-home mom. She’s always off doing something. Does she even spend time with them?”
“I don’t know,” the second replied with a sarcastic laugh. “Maybe that’s why he doesn’t seem in any rush to marry her. Can you imagine all the baggage she’s bringing?”
Maryse bit her lip, willing herself not to react. She refused to give them the satisfaction of knowing they had gotten under her skin.
When the women finally left, their laughter echoing behind them, Maryse stepped out of the stall and stared at her reflection in the mirror. Her face was full of frustration and hurt, but mostly anger. She freshened up her makeup, trying to shake off their cruel words.
She reminded herself of why they made the choices they did—to protect their babies from this exact type of negativity. And while she knew it in her heart, it still stung to hear strangers twist their lives into such ugly narratives.
As she stepped out of the bathroom, her manager, CoCo was waiting just outside, scrolling through her phone. When she glanced up and saw Maryse’s face, her expression shifted immediately.
“Are you okay? You look like you’ve seen a ghost,” her manager said, concern etched into her tone.
Maryse forced a small smile, hoping it would be convincing. “I’m fine. Just… a lot on my mind, I guess.”
Her manager gave her a skeptical look but didn’t push. “Alright. Well, the room’s ready for your interview. You sure you’re good to go?”
Maryse nodded quickly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “Yeah, let’s do it.”
As they walked toward the empty office room, she focused on steadying her breathing and keeping her emotions in check. She didn’t want CoCo—or anyone else—to sense how rattled she was by what she’d overheard.
She watched as CoCo set up her laptop on the desk, glancing at the clock. The interview with The Breakfast Club was about to start. Taking a deep breath, she adjusted the camera angle, brushed her hair back, and tried to focus.
The hosts greeted her warmly as the video feed connected. “We’ve got Maryse Monet in the building—or, well, virtually, but you get the idea,” Charlamagne said with a grin.
Maryse smiled, offering her own warm greeting, though the hurt from earlier still simmered under the surface. They started with lighthearted topics—her music, her kids, and balancing work with motherhood.
But then Charlamagne shifted gears. “So, there’s been a lot of chatter online lately about you and Jack Harlow,” he began, his tone slightly more serious. “Specifically, people talking about the fact that y’all have two kids but no ring yet. What’s your take on that?”
Her heart sank. It was almost as if he’d been in the bathroom earlier. For a split second, she considered brushing it off, but she knew she couldn’t let the narrative continue without addressing it.
Sitting up straighter, she kept her voice calm but firm. “You know, I think people are way too invested in things that have absolutely nothing to do with them,” she said evenly. “My business with Jack is just that—our business. We’re both happy, we’re both blessed, and we’re raising two amazing kids together. That’s all that matters.”
DJ Envy nodded in agreement. “That’s a great perspective. Social media really does have a way of making people feel entitled to your personal life.”
“Exactly,” Maryse replied. “We’ve got a beautiful life, and we’re doing things on our own terms. People should focus on their own happiness instead of worrying about ours.”
As the interview progressed, Jess Hilarious leaned forward with a mischievous glint in her eye. “Alright, so you said it’s your business, and I respect that. But I gotta ask—have you and Jack talked about marriage? You guys have been together for three years now..”
Maryse paused, her heart skipping a beat. Of course, Jess had to be messy—it was her signature style. She took a slow, calming breath, refusing to let the question rattle her.
“Jess, you’re really good at asking the questions no one should be asking,” she said with a playful but pointed smile. “But honestly, we talk about a lot of things. What we decide to do about marriage—or anything else—is between us. We’ve built a beautiful life together, and that’s what’s important.”
DJ Envy chimed in, trying to diffuse the moment. “I mean, two kids and two amazing careers. That’s as solid as it gets.”
“Exactly,” Maryse said, nodding. “We’re building something real, and we don’t feel the need to rush into anything just because people think we should. What matters is that we’re happy, and our kids are loved.”
Jess raised his hands in mock surrender. “Fair enough, fair enough. Just had to ask!”
Maryse laughed softly, her calm demeanor unwavering. “Well, there’s your answer. You and fans can stop speculating now.”
The conversation shifts back to lighter topics, but as the interview ends and she logs off, Maryse takes a moment to exhale deeply. It wasn’t easy keeping her emotions in check, but she feels proud of how she handled it.
CoCo stepped over, shaking her head in frustration.
“I swear, I hate The Breakfast Club sometimes,” she said, crossing her arms. “They’re so invasive, always fishing for drama. But you—you handled it perfectly. Seriously, you answered those questions like a pro.”
Maryse gave a small smile, but it didn’t quite reach her eyes. “Learned from the best,” she murmured, standing up and gathering her things.
CoCo’s expression softened as she looked at her. “You sure you’re okay? You’ve been a little off today.”
She hesitated, her hand tightening around the strap of her bag. “Yeah, I’m good,” she said with a forced lightness. “Just tired, I guess. It’s been a long day.”
CoCo didn’t seem entirely convinced but decided not to press. “Alright. Just let me know if you need anything, okay?”
Maryse nodded, offering a quick smile before heading out. As she walked to her car, the weight of the day finally started to settle on her shoulders.
***
While Maryse was gone, Jack was at home with the twins when his phone buzzed. Seeing his mom’s name on the screen, he smiled and answered.
“Hey, Ma,” he greeted, balancing London on his hip as Noah sat nearby, playing with a stack of blocks.
“Hey, baby,” she replied warmly. “Just calling to check on you and my grandbabies. How are they?”
“They’re good. London’s all clingy today, and Noah’s tearing through these blocks like a little bulldozer,” he said, chuckling as London babbled in his ear.
“Sounds about right,” she laughed before her tone shifted. “So… when are you going to marry that girl, Jack?”
Jack nearly dropped the phone. “Whoa, Mom, where’d that come from?”
“Don’t play dumb,” she said, her voice light but firm. “I know you two are happy, but you’ve got two babies together now. What are you waiting for? She’s been more than patient, and you know she deserves it.”
He sighed, setting London down gently next to her brother. “It’s not that simple, Mom. I’m trying to make sure everything’s right—our lives, our careers, everything. I want to give her the world when that time comes, not just a ring.”
His mom wasn’t letting up. “Jack, that girl loves you, and she doesn’t care about all the flashy stuff. She just wants you. You’re not waiting for things to be perfect, are you? Because life is never going to be perfect.”
He rubbed the back of his neck, leaning against the counter. “I hear you, Ma. I really do. And trust me, I think about it all the time. I just…” He trailed off, trying to find the right words.
“You’re scared,” his mom said knowingly.
Jack didn’t reply right away, but her words hit home.
“Listen,” she continued. “You’re already living like you’re married. You’ve got your little family, and she’s out here holding you down. Don’t let fear stop you from doing what you know in your heart is right.”
He nodded, even though she couldn’t see him. “I get it, Ma. I’ll figure it out.”
“Okay son, I’m not telling you what to do. Just want to give you something to think about.”
“I know.”
“Good,” she replied. “Now go kiss those babies and think about what I said.”
“I will, Ma. Love you.”
“Love you too, baby.”
As he hung up, Jack glanced at the twins, who were now playing together. His mom’s words echoed in his mind, stirring emotions he wasn’t quite ready to unpack. But one thing was clear—he needed to start seriously thinking about the next step.
Do I really need to rush into this? he thought, running a hand through his hair. He kind of liked the way things were now—comfortable, happy, and stable. They had a rhythm, even if it wasn’t always perfect. He and Maryse were building something solid, raising two amazing kids, and balancing their careers. Did they really need to add the pressure of a wedding to all of that?
Of course, he wanted to marry her—one day. He gave her a promise ring for Christ’s sake. But was now the right time? Between juggling music, parenting, and their lives being constantly under public scrutiny, he wondered if Maryse even wanted to get married right now. Maybe she was just as happy with how things were.
She’d never pressured him or dropped hints, and they’d never had a serious conversation about it since having Noah and London.
As he sank deeper into his thoughts, he felt a block hit his lower leg. Turning around, he saw both Noah and London giggling mischievously, clearly proud of themselves, and he couldn’t help but smile despite the sting.
“Alright, alright, I get it. No overthinking,” he said, getting down on the floor with them, both of them crawled towards him immediately. Noah reached him first, reaching up to grab his face this time, and he held him close, thinking about how lucky he was to have this life. Maybe his mom was right—life didn’t have to be perfect to take the next step. But for now, he decided to let the idea sit, focusing instead on the moment in front of him.
The rest of the day went by smoothly. By the time Maryse came home, the twins were fed, bathed, and put to bed with a little teamwork. Jack felt a sense of peace settling over the house, but as the quiet evening stretched on, he realized Maryse had disappeared.
Curious, he wandered through their home, checking room by room until he heard the soft, melodic sound of the piano drifting from the music room. He stopped in his tracks, drawn in by the familiar voice singing a song he hadn’t heard before.
I didn't mean to fall in love
Now that I need you, baby
Tell me we'll never be apart
Leaning against the doorframe, Jack watched her. She was seated at the piano, her fingers moving gracefully over the keys as she poured her heart into the lyrics. Her voice was raw, full of emotion, and he felt every word as though she were speaking directly to him.
He didn’t say anything, not wanting to interrupt the moment. Instead, he crossed his arms and stayed quiet, letting the song wash over him. It was rare for him to see her this vulnerable—just her and the music, unfiltered and honest.
Jack’s gaze dropped to her hands on the keys. That’s when he noticed it—the promise ring, back on her finger. She’d worn it as a necklace during her pregnancy when her fingers were too swollen, but now it was back where it belonged. The sight stirred something in him, the faintest twinge of guilt for the thoughts that had been weighing on him all day.
When she finished, her hands lingered on the keys, the final note fading into the room. She looked up and noticed him standing there, his face unreadable.
“Didn’t mean to eavesdrop,” he said softly, pushing off the doorframe. “What was that?”
Maryse shrugged, her lips curving into a small, almost shy smile. “Just something I’ve been working on.”
“It’s beautiful,” he said, stepping closer. “You okay?”
Her eyes flicked to the piano keys for a moment before meeting his gaze. “Yeah. Just had some things on my mind.”
“Do you wanna talk about it?”
She hesitated, then leaned into him. “Maybe. Later.”
He pressed a kiss to her temple. “Take your time. I’m here.”
Jack’s arm stayed draped over her shoulders, his thumb absentmindedly tracing patterns on her sleeve. He leaned in, pressing a kiss to her shoulder. “I missed you today,” he murmured, his voice low and warm.
Maryse tilted her head, a small smile tugging at her lips. “I missed you too.”
He nuzzled closer, his lips brushing her ear as he added, “How about we go to bed, my Kentucky bad girl?”
She froze for a second before bursting into laughter, wrinkling her nose in playful disgust. She pushed his shoulder lightly. “Please don’t ever say that again.”
He grinned, amused by her reaction. “What? You don’t like it?”
She shook her head, still giggling. “Absolutely not. I’m a New Yorker at heart, remember? No ‘Kentucky bad girl’ nonsense for me.”
Jack threw his head back with a chuckle, clearly enjoying himself. “Alright, alright. I won’t say it again. But you can’t deny you’ve got a little Kentucky in you now.”
She rolled her eyes, standing up from the piano bench and stretching. “Unfortunately.”
Jack immediately pinched her sides making her giggle pulling her back down for a quick kiss.
“Let’s call it a night.”
She smiled, letting him lead her toward their room.
Hours later Maryse laid awake in bed, the soft sound of Jack’s breathing steady beside her as he slept peacefully. She scrolled through her phone, reading the flood of comments from her interview earlier.
While some were supportive, praising her for standing her ground and protecting her privacy, others weren’t as kind.
“She’s just gonna be his baby mama forever.”
“That promise ring? Just a way to keep her quiet.”
“He doesn’t actually want to marry her—if he did, he would’ve done it by now.”
Her chest tightened as she read comment after comment, the words cutting deeper than she wanted to admit. She turned off her phone and set it on the nightstand, staring up at the ceiling.
The weight of the comments clung to her, making her question things she hadn’t doubted before. Did people really see her like that? Did they think her relationship wasn’t enough just because they weren’t married yet?
She glanced at Jack, his face relaxed in sleep, and thought about how much love he showed her and the kids every day. She knew their relationship was strong, but the doubts stirred by strangers still lingered in her mind.
She sighed softly, shifting onto her side and pulling the blanket tighter around her. “Fuck it,” she thought.
“Why should I care what strangers think?” she whispered to herself, though the question felt hollow.
Maryse picked her phone back up and scrolled her camera roll finding the photos Urban took of them after she got home from the hospital.
Her finger hovered over the “post” button for a moment, and then she whispered, “Yeah, Fuck it.”

As soon as the post went up, she immediately felt guilty she knew she should’ve discussed it with Jack first—they’d agreed to keep the kids off social media for the most part—but something in her needed to push back against the negativity.
Sliding her phone onto the nightstand, she settled back into bed, telling herself she’d deal with the fallout tomorrow.
The next morning, Jack woke up early, lying in bed with his arm draped across Maryse’s waist as she slept. He reached for his phone, and called Urban who picked up almost immediately.
“Yo, what’s up?” Urban said.
“I was thinking,” Jack began, his voice low so he didn’t wake Maryse. “I wanna take a trip to New York to shoot a video for this freestyle I’ve been working on…”
“You already know I’m in,” Urban replied. “When you thinking of heading out?”
“Soon, maybe next week. I just—”
“Aw, Maryse finally posted that photoshoot I did of her and the twins, huh?” Urban interrupted, chuckling.
Jack furrowed his brow, sitting up straighter. “What’re you talking about?”
“The one we did after the twins were born,” Urban clarified. “You didn’t see? It’s all over my feed. She posted it last night.”
Jack’s jaw tightened slightly as he quickly opened Instagram. Sure enough, Maryse’s post was there, front and center: the photo of her holding the twins.
He stared at the post for a moment, his emotions conflicted. On one hand, the picture was beautiful, he had that exact photo as his screensaver since Urban sent it to him. On the other, they had agreed to be cautious about sharing too much of their kids online.
“Yeah, I see it,” he finally said.
“That shot of her and the twins is adorable,” Urban added.
“Yeah… it is,” Jack admitted, his voice softer.
He hung up a few minutes later and laid there, phone still in hand, staring at the photo. He knew Maryse must’ve been feeling some type of way to go against their usual decision. With a sigh, he leaned over and gently kissed her temple, whispering, “You’re gonna make me work hard to stay mad at you, aren’t you?”
Maryse stirred awake, feeling Jack’s gaze on her. She opened one eye and saw him looking down at her, his face relaxed, a faint smirk tugging at his lips.
“What a beautiful sight to wake up to in the morning,” she joked, her voice groggy as she stretched.
Jack chuckled. “You don’t sound so sure.”
She laughed softly and leaned up to give him a kiss, her hand resting on his chest. “Good morning to you too.”
He smiled against her lips, pulling her closer for another quick peck before leaning back slightly. “So… how’d the meeting go yesterday? We didn’t get to talk about it.”
Her stomach tightened at the question, but she forced a small smile and nodded. “It was fine. Nothing crazy, just the usual.”
He raised an eyebrow. “Fine, huh?”
“Yep, totally fine,” she said, her voice a little too cheerful.
“Uh-huh,” he replied, his tone skeptical. He let it hang for a beat before adding casually, “Oh yeah? So why’d you post the twins last night?”
Maryse froze for a moment, her lips parting in surprise before she let out an exaggerated yawn and turned over. “Hmm? I’m sorry, I think I’m still asleep. Can’t hear you.”
Jack laughed, shaking his head. “Oh, so now you’re asleep, huh?”
She didn’t respond, burying her face into the pillow dramatically.
He leaned over and pinched her sides, making her yelp and squirm away. “Answer me!”
“Okay, okay!” she squealed, swatting at his hands. “I just… felt like posting it, that’s all.”
He gave her a look, clearly not buying it. “At two in the morning?”
She sighed, sitting up and running a hand through her messy hair. “I don’t know. I was in my feelings or something. Can we just leave it at that?”
Jack studied her face for a moment, his expression softening. “You sure that’s all it was?”
She nodded, her smile small but genuine. “Yeah, I promise.”
“Alright,” he said, leaning over to kiss her forehead. “But next time, just talk to me before you post something like that, okay?”
“Okay,” she murmured, leaning her head on his shoulder.
“Good, ’cause now the whole world knows how cute our kids are,” he said with a grin, making her laugh softly as the tension eased between them.
“And I know you’re not telling me the whole truth,” he said gently.
Maryse’s heart skipped a beat, but she kept her face neutral, avoiding his eyes.
“I’m not gonna push you,” he continued, his tone reassuring.
A small smile tugged at her lips despite the knot in her chest. “Okay,” she murmured.
Maryse couldn’t ignore the guilt tugging at her heart. This man loved her so deeply, so unconditionally, and yet here she was, lying to him—keeping something that clearly affected her bottled up.
She thought back to the incident in the bathroom and the interview right after. She knew she should probably tell him, let him in on what had her feeling so unsettled. But every time she thought about it, the words of those women replayed in her head, stoking her insecurities.
What if he thought she was pressuring him to marry her? What if he thought she cared too much about what people said? She didn’t want to seem weak or like the comments had shaken her. And the last thing she wanted was for him to think she didn’t trust his love.
Her fingers absentmindedly traced the promise ring on her hand as she wrestled with her thoughts.
She looked up at him and managed a small smile. “I love you.”
He smiled back, brushing a strand of hair from her face. “Thank God. ‘Cause I love you more than anything.”
She nodded, holding onto his words, even as her inner turmoil continued to churn. She wasn’t ready to tell him yet, but she knew deep down that she couldn’t keep it from him forever.

mirror mirror on the wall
Tumblr media
AN: this is smut!💕
summary: you make a post with jack harlows favorite lingerie set and hes not to happy about it.
you watched jack leave the driveway as you quickly ran upstairs and shed of your clothes revealing a black lingerie set jack had gotten you for your birthday.
you went to the bathroom and put your hair in two pigtails and placed on some of your jewelry.
you went back in front of the mirror and pulled lightly on your hair as you posed to take your photos.
you took a couple photos and posted it on your instagram, jack being the last thing on your mind at the moment.
you went back to your bedroom and took of the lingerie changing into more comfortable clothes.
stinka💕- why the fuck did you post that y/n y/m/n?
you- what are you talking about stink?
stinka💕- you in that lingerie set? didn’t i tell your ass about playin with me?
you- sorry baby, i wasn’t thinking nothing of it when i posted it, i just looked cute!
stinka💕- just wait till i get home.
you left jack on seen as you quickly got up and went to shower and get ready for jack.
after about 2 hours you heard jack car pulling up in the driveway.
you threw your phone down on the bed and acted like you were sleeping.
when jack walked through the bedroom door you could tell he wasn’t very happy, especially since he had spammed the doors and would yell at you if you slammed a door.
“girl i know your not sleep, your not even cuddling anything you cant sleep without cuddling something.”
you slowly picked your head up to look at jack while he was taking off his belt.
“jack please, im sorry i wont do it anymore! promise!”
“no fuck that, explain to me what made you think to do that shit huh?”
“i didnt think you would be mad!”
“and you still didnt take that shit down.”
you quickly grabbed your phone ready to take it down.
“no dont take it down now, come here.”
you slowly made your way off the bed walking to jack with your head down.
he used his finger to push your head up.
“what did i tell you ‘bout posting and showing off whats mine huh?”
“i dont even get the big deal! i looked cute and everyone knows who im yours!”
“who you getting smart with?”
you rolled your eyes and jack picked you up and threw you over his shoulder.
“JACKMANNN!!”
“hush.”
jack walked over back to the bed and put you down.
you started taking off your (his) t-shirt before jack stopped you.
“did i tell you to undress?” “no..”
“you dont fucking listen.”
jack pulled down his zipper and looked at you.
“i shouldn’t even have to tell you this, take off my pants and boxers and suck.”
you did as you were told, you were slow when taking off jacks briefs, jack was growing impatient.
jack grabbed you by your throat and forced you to look at him.
jack had nothing but anger and lust in his eyes.
“y/n, if you dont quit fucking playing with me you wont get to cum at all, act like you got fucking sense before you piss be off.”
you quickly pulled off jacks boxers, his cock slapping against his stomach.
you grabbed it and spit on it using your spit as lube while jack grabbed your hair, making a makeshift ponytail.
you took jack all the way in your mouth.
you slowly sucked him knowing jack didnt like head to rough.
jack decided you weren’t going fast enough and pushed your head further down his dick.
you gagged and almost took jack out of your mouth but you knew better.
jack moaned as you sucked him, using your hand for whatever couldn’t fit into your mouth.
you tried to take jack out of your mouth but he pushed your head back.
“this dick not coming out of your mouth until cum is going down your throat understand?”
you nodded your head yes and went back to work.
“fuck!”
jack twitched into your mouth and came without warning.
you took jack out your mouth and swallowed before trying to get up.
“let me see your tongue.”
you stuck your tongue out at jack.
“good girl, get on the bed, face down ass up.”
you got up and walked over to the bed while jack smacked your ass.
you got into the position you were told, making sure to toot your ass up a little while shaking it lightly.
jack quickly put a harsh smack to your ass leaving the flesh to turn slightly red making you whine.
“i dont want to hear any whining, shut it up.”
you smacked your lips, earning yourself another, harder smack to your ass.
this time jack rubbed the skin while bending down to kiss it.
jack got behind you and rubbed his hand up and down your back, his hands were cold enough to make you shiver.
“you just want everybody to see whats mine huh? you just want to act like your available to every man in Atlanta and Louisville? huh?”
“no jack! i just looked cute!”
jack pulled on your hair roughly, pulling you up.
“first off, thats not my name right now and you know it, second, if you just looked cute why did you wait till i leave? huh?”
you went silent while jack chuckled and let go of your hair, your face falling back onto the black sheets.
“whats my name y/n?”
“jackman thomas ha-“
jack roughly pushed his whole length into you making you let or a gasp.
without warning jack started roughly thrusting into you making you cry out in pleasure.
“daddy!! its to much.” “no its not, take it like a G, you want to be all big and bad? take this shit.”
you shook your head no while jack lightly smacked the side of your face.
“you take this dick and i dont want to hear anything after that, you speak when spoken to, i dont want to hear anything but maybe a whimper, if you talk without bein’ spoken to your getting punished.”
“understand?”
you shook your head yes but that wasn’t enough for jack.
“i spoke to you, answer me.”
you opened your mouth to answer jack but nothing but moans came out.
“aww baby this dick got you cock dumb?”
“please..”
jack popped the side of your thigh, making you jump.
“didn’t i ask you something, this is my last time telling you to answer me y/n”
“yes jack i understand!!”
jack pounded into you harder, pulling your hair back when he realized what you had called him.
“yes who?”
“yes daddy fuck!!”
jack left go of your hair and continued fucking you, slapping your ass every other thrust.
the room filled with the mix of you and jacks moans.
“jack im gonna cum!”
“hold it.”
“i cantt!”
“i wasn’t asking you, i was telling you. hold that shit.”
you did as you were told and while jack pulled out making you whine.
“didnt i tell you no whines?”
“sorry j..”
“missionary get there now.”
you got into the position while jack raised your thighs up before roughly pushing into you, you grabbed at the sheets trying your hardest not to moan out loudly knowing jack hated when you damn near screamed into his ear while fucking you.
“look at my girl, taking this dick.”
jack started thrusting into one again making him grunt out louder then you moaned.
jack fucked you harder and harder until you released all over him making him pop your thigh.
“you lucking i didnt stop yo ass from cumin, you dont get to cum with out telling me or asking permission, you know better.”
“yes sir.”
jack didnt halt his thrusting, in fact he got faster trying to chase his own orgasm.
“daddy cum inside of me please.”
“i was planning on it.”
jack fucked into you harder and ended up cumin into you and collapsing onto your chest.
“fuck jack, we need to clean up.”
jack shook his head and got picking you up as well, he carried you to the bathroom and started running bath water.
you peed and joined jack in the bathtub to let him clean off your body.
you let your body relax onto him as he slowly cleaned you, you body tensed up when he got to your pussy, making sure to clean you off slowly to not agitate the sensitive area.
jack finished you off before cleaning himself off.
he got out before you and rapped a towel around his waste, he pulled the plug and let the water drain before helping you out.
jack put a towel around you and brought you into the bedroom.
“jack can you please put some lotion on me?”
“of course ma, was about to do that anyway.”
jack got the lotion and put it onto your body.
once he was done he pulled his t-shirt over your head and let you lay down while he put on his sweatpants.
by the time jack had gotten comfortable you were sound asleep.
“i love you ma, goodnight.”
jack kissed your temple and cuddled into you before his breathing slowed himself and feel asleep.

For Jack Harlow wife threatens divorce after he said he would stop traveling so much when they got married but now he is barely in their child’s life because of work
ꕥHusband!Jack Harlow x Wife!Reader ꕥ
Tw: angst
Tumblr media
The argument started small—just another one of those quiet, tense moments that had become all too familiar lately. Jack had come home late, barely in time to kiss your son goodnight, and you’d watched from the doorway as your little boy clung to him, his sleepy voice murmuring, “Don’t go again, Daddy.”
That had been the breaking point. After tucking your son into bed, you found Jack in the kitchen, scrolling through his phone like he didn’t have a care in the world. The sight of him so oblivious made something inside you snap.
“Jack,” you said, your voice sharp enough to make him look up. “We need to talk.”
He set his phone down, already sensing the storm brewing. “What’s wrong?”
You crossed your arms, trying to keep your voice steady even though the lump in your throat threatened to choke you. “What’s wrong is that our son barely knows his father anymore. What’s wrong is that you promised me things would change after we got married, but they haven’t.”
Jack’s brow furrowed, his eyes flickering with confusion—and maybe a little guilt. “What are you talking about? I’m here now, aren’t I?”
“You’re here now,” you repeated bitterly. “But for how long? A day? Two? Before you’re off to another show or interview or god knows what else? Jack, you said you’d cut back. You said you’d prioritize us.”
“I am prioritizing us,” he said defensively, running a hand through his curls. “I’m doing this for us—for you and for him. To make sure we have everything we need.”
You shook your head, tears stinging your eyes. “Jack, we don’t need more money or a bigger house or whatever else you think this is about. We need you. I need you, and our son needs you. But you’re barely here long enough to notice what’s going on in his life. Do you even know that he started saying full sentences last month? Or that he’s been scared of the dark lately?”
His face fell at that, and for a moment, you thought you’d gotten through to him. But then he sighed, his frustration clear as he ran both hands over his face. “I’m trying, okay? I’m trying to balance everything. It’s not as simple as just staying home.”
“No, you’re not trying,” you shot back, your voice rising. “You’re making a choice, Jack. And right now, you’re choosing work over your family.”
“That’s not fair,” he said, his tone sharp now. “You knew who I was when you married me. You knew this was part of my life.”
“I married you because I loved you,” you said, your voice breaking. “Because I believed you when you said you wanted to build a life together. But this? This isn’t a life. It’s me raising our child alone while you chase your dreams, and I’m done pretending that’s okay.”
Jack stared at you, his jaw clenched and his eyes clouded with emotion. “What are you saying?”
“I’m saying that if something doesn’t change, I can’t do this anymore,” you said, your heart breaking even as you said the words. “I won’t stay in a marriage where I feel like I’m the only one fighting for us. And I won’t let our son grow up feeling like he’s not enough to make you stay.”
Silence filled the room, heavy and suffocating. Jack looked like you’d just punched him in the gut, his shoulders slumping as he processed what you’d said. Finally, he spoke, his voice barely above a whisper. “You’re threatening to leave me?”
“I don’t want to,” you admitted, tears streaming down your face now. “But I can’t keep living like this, Jack. I can’t keep watching our son miss you and pretending it doesn’t hurt.”
Jack swallowed hard, his eyes glistening as he stepped closer to you. “I don’t want to lose you. Either of you.”
“Then prove it,” you said, your voice trembling but firm. “Show me that we’re more than just an afterthought. Be the man and the father you promised you’d be.”
For a long moment, he didn’t say anything, his gaze dropping to the floor as he wrestled with his thoughts. When he finally looked up, there was a determination in his eyes that you hadn’t seen in a long time.
“You’re right,” he said quietly. “I’ve been so caught up in everything else that I’ve been neglecting what matters most. I don’t want to lose you, and I don’t want to miss out on our son’s life. I’ll make changes. I swear I will.”
You nodded, wiping at your tears but not quite ready to believe him yet. “I hope so, Jack. Because I can’t keep holding this together on my own.”
He reached out then, hesitating for a moment before pulling you into his arms. You let yourself lean into him, your head resting against his chest as his hand gently rubbed your back.
“I’ll fix this,” he murmured against your hair. “I’ll do whatever it takes.”
For the first time in a long time, you allowed yourself to hope that maybe, just maybe, things could be different. But for now, all you could do was wait and see if Jack would keep his promise.

For Jackman Thomas Harlow
"You got one more time to get an attitude with me before I fuck it out of you."
“You got one more time to get an attitude with me before I fuck it out of you.” Jack whispered in your ear, feeling his warm breath against your cheek.
At this point, you were asking for it. And rightfully so. Jack wanted to be at this event, not you. And you expressed that to him clear as day, yet he didn’t take the hint, promising to do whatever you’d like when the two of you got home.
Was it worth it? Probably. Yet, you were still going to try to get out of it. And if it meant making Jack horny, so be it.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” You folded your arms over your chest, raising an eyebrow at him. The loud music from the club mellowed your tone, isolated from the atmosphere despite it being crowded.
“I know you do. Look, I’m sorry I brought you out here, but you know what this does for me in the industry.”
“Mhm.” You unfolded your arms and walked away from him, moving towards the bar.
If that’s what he wanted to play, then you were going to play too.
Taking the lemon drop shot to the head, you slammed the glass down on the counter, making sure to put it on Jack’s tab. You made your way to the dance floor, working your way into the crowd.
A few more lemon drop shots from the bar and you were feeling yourself, bumping and grinding up against the people next to you, not a care in the world.
It was Urban that peeped you. And Jack that stormed over towards you. Before you knew it, you were outside the club, the music still echoing in your ears.
“What are you doing babe? I was having fun!” You spoke, the smell of alcohol on your lips.
“I was watching you out there on the floor, what were you thinking?” Jack groaned, looking you in the eyes.
“You wanted me to have fun, so I was. Isn’t that what you asked for?” A smirk grew on your lips, Jack’s facial expression changing to rage mixed with lust.
He grabbed you by your hips, pulling you close into a searing kiss.
“We’re gonna have a lot of fun when we get home.” He gave you a firm slap on the ass, you jumping in his embrace.
Oh you sure were.

A playdate goes wrong as Jack’s daughter goes missing ⚽️
18+ ONLY - ADULT THEMES
(Unedited)
“Daddy do I have to go to the game with you? I want to finish watching my show.” Patricia complained
“Don’t you want to play with Clover?” Jack said as he put her hair in two pigtails and laid out her clothes for her. You were off on a girls day with Jack’s mom, aunt, and Grandmother.
You were practicing leaving Jack completely on his own on his daddy daughter days as he was gone for days and weeks at a time and needed to bond as much as possible with Patricia or “P” as he affectionately called her. Patricia was a stubborn 4 year old and had many of Jack’s traits which included her already well developed negotiation skills.
“Ok daddy how about I finish my show and Duaney can drive me later to the game.” She tried which annoyed and impressed her dad at the same time.
“P” Jack said firmly “Clover is excited to meet you, now put this on or we’ll be late.” He held up her shirt to help her into it. She sighed and rolled her eyes. “When did you start rolling your eyes young lady?”
“Since now.” She retorted sassily. Jack didn’t know whether to laugh or chide her to mind her mouth and manners.
“I’m not the one P.” Jack said with a frown that had Patricia turn on the charm.
“Ok my daddy. I’ll be nice.” She said sweetly and planted a kiss on his forehead as she hung onto his neck for him to help her into her New Balance track pants and New Balance sneakers. Jack melted and a little smile creeped up on his face.
She had a complexion that was not as pale as Jack’s but not as brown as yours with gorgeous curls from both of you, 1 dimple, and hazel eyes, a compromise nature seemed to make between your brown eyes and Jack’s baby blues.
She had freckles on her nose like her dad and a lazy eye she wore glasses for like him. She was sassy, smart, and was already able to carry a tune, something you and Jack had butted heads on. You wanted her to go to college and he was always sneaking her off to the studio. “She has potential Y/N” he would argue and continued to take her to his sessions and beg her not to tell you. Patricia learned how to negotiate for extra screen time for her silence. Like his parents Jack and you limited her screen time to 2 hrs/day.
“If you play with Clover nicely I’ll give you an extra hour on your iPad ok?” Jack said knowing her currency to agree to almost anything except eating her vegetables.
NLE Choppa and Jack were in the same XXL Freshman class but hadn’t spoken much since they made the cover what seemed like a lifetime ago. Both their careers had taken off keeping them busy and on the road and both now were fathers.
NLE was playing in Kentucky and of course as all hip hop artists knew it was good manners to pay the King of Kentucky homage. Jack decided to invite NLE and his daughter Clover to a Louisville FC game so their daughter’s who were the same age could make friends.
NLE and Clover often made adorable daddy/daughter videos of them dancing but Jack kept things with Patricia less public as per his tendency to keep his private life private. Today Jack was sure would be all over social media and it was the rare time he was ok with it. Fans had been dying for a daddy/daughter moment.
In her first 4 years you and Jack made sure Patricia wasn’t in the public eye that much and family sightings by paparazzi were rare as the whole city protected you and respected your wishes. Louisville was a low key place so you and Jack had a fairly peaceful life…that is until 2 little girls joined forces.
Jack and Patricia headed to their box seats to mild cheers from fans who were expecting to see Jack as part owner but were thrilled to see Patricia. Cell phones came out immediately to snap a pic of her as she settled shyly on her daddy’s lap and hugged him around his neck drawing a collective awwww from the crowd. As Jack and Patricia were brought popcorn and drinks a buzz started in the venue and whispers.
NLE and Clover showed up dressed the same as they often did for appearances and events. Today they had on matching pink and white track suits. Clover had pink and white beads on the end of her braids to match her outfit that Patricia thought were really pretty. Clover shyly smiled at Patricia as she stuck to her daddy as well. Folks were used to Jack’s preppy and clean appearance so NLE looked like a rockstar to them as he was covered in tattoos and wore a stack of chunky gleaming chains with a full set of diamond grills when he laughed and smiled with Jack.
Both extremely handsome rappers were at the top of their game enjoying life to the fullest with Jack coming off a long hiatus about to once again dominate the charts, and NLE the fastest rising independent artist out with a streak of viral moments and hits. When the superstar showed up the media and fans went nuts at the unexpected appearance.
2 superstar dads on a playdate hit IG in minutes. Were they collabing? Was Jack performing at NLE’s show later that night? Were they working on a movie together? What was going on? Fans were losing their minds with chats exploding with speculation, and every girl made emergency plans to be ready for an any mention of an epic afterparty.
“What up playa?” NLE greeted Jack in a solid dap and a hug.
“Man you almost as tall as me.” Jack said sizing up the 6”2 rapper against his 6”3 frame and the 2 burst out laughing. It was too much for ladies in the venue watching the tall and handsome dads chat while their daughter’s hung onto them uncertain of what was happening. Clover was more used to the spotlight than Patricia who was already showing signs of being tired.
“Yo P.” Jack said lifting her little head off his shoulder and prying her hands off him to sit her down in the seat beside him and next to Clover. “Say hi to Clover.”
“Umm hi.” She offered quietly. This is one of many moments where Patricia was super shy in public. You and Jack had debates about giving her more opportunities to socialize but to say Jack was paranoid was an understatement.
“My name is Clover. I like your glasses.” Clover offered starting to warm up to her surroundings and her new friend. Patricia was in awe of Clover. Even as a 4yr old she was so glamorous to Patricia as she whipped out a phone from her little bedazzled designer purse to show Patricia pictures of her last outing with her dad where she got to dance with LA Laker cheerleaders. Jack was nervously eyeing the interaction and seeing Patricia in awe of Clover made him even more nervous. Clover was cute and he knew NLE was a good dad, but the 2 girls couldn’t be growing up more differently.
“I like your nails and your purse and your phone and your hair is pretty.” Patricia complimented all at once nervously trying to make a connection with Clover. The 2 girls giggled with their heads together as Clover showed Patricia pics and vids from her last run of adventures with her dad and silly videos they made together. “Your daddy is silly like my daddy.” Patricia giggled.
“Don’t worry bruh she got a phone but it’s parented protected like a MF. It’s a phone for kids so they feel grown but don’t have access to anything bad yuh feel me?” NLE told Jack in his thick Memphis drawl.
“I hear you fam. I kinda got Patricia bubble wrapped.” He joked but it was completely the case. If you had seen that phone he knew you would bug him to let Patricia have it. You grew up less sheltered than Jack and had responsibilities at a young age and felt it helped be who you were today, but up until Jack was in first grade he just came off a farm and had never played a video game.
His childhood in Louisville revolved around his large and close knit family. It wasn’t until his teens where he started to see more of the world and was in his later teens when he started drinking and “partaking in substances” as he put it. Even his run with that was short lived and he rarely did anything like that anymore.
You on the other hand were left at 16 to raise your two younger half-siblings. It was either that or foster care for them as your mom battled addiction and their father disappeared. You never knew who your dad was. Today because of Jack they were now stable and living close by and your mom was getting help. Jack had truly saved her life. He was your knight in shining armour you didn’t know you needed doing everything on your own. As you sipped on afternoon mimosas with your mother in law, you opened IG to find Patricia and Clover the hot topic of the platform.
“Babe…are you sure about this?” You frantically texted your bae. Jack had told you Patricia was going to the game but you didn’t know the NLE part which brought a whole other level of attention to the outing.
“We good baby. Just chill out and enjoy your day.” Jack texted back and put his phone back in his pocket.
“Clover has a phone??? Is it for kids? Where did NLE get that for her? HELLO??!” You texted to no response from your husband. He knew a barrage of questions would be coming. You were always pushing for Patricia not to be so sheltered. “OMG!! Look at my baby girl laughing and making friends!!!” Jack???! HELLOOOO??!” But he was clearly enjoying the game and not answering.
“Y/N what’s going on?” Maggie said looking over at you scrolling IG and texting like a mad woman.
“LOOK” you simply said tearing up and showed her what Hip Hop Central on Instagram just posted of Patricia and Clover now dancing to the music being played at halftime which was their dad’s music and falling all over each other giggling. The headline was “NLE and Jack Harlow Babysit”
“NLE and Clover wear matching outfits?? How adorable!” Maggie exclaimed “That’s Patricia? She just met Clover! She’s not shy right now! and excuse me you don’t babysit your own child.” Maggie said annoyed at the headline giving you your phone back and rolling her eyes. “She’ll be talking your ear off when y’all get back home.”
“How could he miss that the net was fucking open!!” Jack angrily exclaimed.
“Your daddy said a bad word.” Clover said to Patricia as both girls looked at Jack in a way that made him apologize to them.
“Calm down bruh.” NLE said to Jack who was now pouting at his team’s inevitable loss.
“I have to pee.” Clover said suddenly and jumped up to go to the bathroom.
“Me too.” Said Patricia who didn’t really have to pee until her friend said she had to go.
“I’ll take them” Katt said who was Jack’s assistant “Come on girls” she said and the 2 little girls followed her. As they went to the bathroom inside the boxed in area reserved for Jack, Katt waited for them while she faced the window watching the game. One of the staff who had their hands full left the door to the boxed in area open with the intention of coming back with more things to set up for lunch for the celebrity guests. Clover spotting the open door whispered to Patricia
“Wanna play hide and seek on our daddies?”
“Sure!” Patricia said up for anything Clover suggested.
Clover and Patricia snuck out the door and hid in the back of a golf cart used to get around the venue quickly that had a little canopy where you could put a little cooler for drinks. They hunkered down in the tight space. When the cart started moving they sat there quietly in hushed laughter. Their daddies would have to look all over for them and they thought that would be so fun!
Katt got an uneasy feeling and checked the small bathroom to find the girls gone. Her heart raced as she frantically texted Jack trying not to make a scene for the jumbotron to capture. Jack’s phone was in his pocket and he was preoccupied with shouting at the field over his losing team. Katt panicked and decided she had to tell him. She approached him as calmly as she could with all eyes watching and asked him and NLE to step inside the box.
“What’s going on?” They asked seeing the look on her face.
“The girls they…they were in the washroom and then…I don’t know how they disappeared.” She said wringing her hands and in tears.
“WHAT THE FUCK!!” Jack said angrily “Katt how did this happen?”
“Geezus where is my baby?” NLE panicked and seeing the door to the suite open he ran out with Jack and venue security close on his heels. “Wait let me call Clover.” He said but there was no answer. Immediately all venue security and police were notified and an amber alert went out on all attendees phones.
“Jack Harlow and Mr. Bryson Potts’s daughters are missing. I repeat, we have 2 missions children in the building. Please keep your eyes out and report to authorities immediately if you see these 2 little girls.” The announcer said and showed a picture of both girls on the jumbotron they had to take for security purposes when they arrived that day. “They are Patricia Harlow 4 years old, and Clover Potts 4 years old.”
Everyone in the venue held their breath as some joined the search party. The game came to a grinding halt with players joining the hunt for the 2 girls. You unknowingly were enjoying horse back riding with the women in your husband’s family on their family farm. Your phone was buzzing in your tight riding pants but you ignored it taking in the breathtaking Kentucky countryside.
The golf cart carrying its precious cargo came to a stop and the driver walked off. Patricia and Clover feeling they were no longer moving decided to poke their heads out. They thought they would pretty much be in the same spot as they had little concept of how big the venue was. They panicked once they didn’t recognize anything or anyone around them.
NLE remembered Clover had a tracker on her device. He checked his phone and picked up their location. “Found them!!” He announced “They on the other side but they’re running to somewhere. We have to catch up to them but they are in the building!” He led the search party in their direction.
“Are you lost?” A lady asked the two girls who were now running to find their dads and crying.
“Where’s my daddy?” Patricia said to the lady who instantly recognized her when she looked down and saw her face. “Patricia Harlow?”
Patricia nodded. “And who’s your friend?” The lady asked who was just making her way back to her seat when she spotted the two girls frantically looking around them. “That’s my bestie Clover.” Patricia said hugging Clover tight.
“Oh my god ok everyone is looking for you guys!!” The lady said as she called her husband who notified security. As Jack and NLE hadn’t yet caught up with them but were close.
“We got their location they are safe and being held in place.” They heard over walkie talkies. The fathers breathed a sigh of relief. Jack had never felt such dread in his life. They put the 2 dads and Jack’s security in a golf cart and speedily got them to where the lady was holding Clover and Patricia. When they saw each other they ran to one another. Jack scooped up Patricia and NLE scooped up Clover hugging and kissing the girls fighting fully crying.
“What were you thinking?” Jack asked Patricia sternly and she began to cry
“I wanted to play hide and seek daddy I’m so sorry!!” Clover bawled. “It’s ok princess don’t ever scare daddy like that again ok?” NLE said softly looking into her big brown eyes.
Bruh, where’d you get that phone for Clover? Imma need that.” Jack said holding Patricia close who was now drained and resting on him.
“Allow me boss” Duane said reaching out for Patricia “You want some ice cream girls?” He said reaching for Clover’s hand trying to calm the girls down and distract them.
“Tell me where you got Duane and I’ll tell you where I got the phone.” NLE said smiling. He was so impressed with how Duane was a part of the family.
“Thank you everyone. The whole building gets free ice cream on me for all your help.” Jack said and when they announced it everyone at the game cheered. The girls were carried out onto the field on the shoulders of a couple players and they waved to the crowd happy to see them safe. Boy would Patricia have a lot to tell you when you met up with them at home.
