Been looking through a lot of old Hijack art from 2012-2017ish again, and yeah. I can still definitely say I'm glad I got into Hijack in recent years compared to back then lol

I know things were more wild online back then so its understandable, and I did talk about this before, but I'm really happy these two are actually written more in-character nowadays. A lot of great art from back then, but yeah a lottt of it is really OOC. Jack is not an overly confident jerk and Hiccup is not a meek fool. They're both sarcastic but genuinely compassionate, kind, and courageous guys

Also just my personal taste: I think the ship is more palatable post-HTTYD2/RttE, I get kinda uncomfortable when they're shipped when Hiccup's younger. The timing of when I found Hijack was definitely good because I probably wouldn't have been into it at all before HTTYD2/RttE haha

Danny gets punted into the DC universe for some reason and proceeds to haunt Gotham because it’s gothic and there’s this hero cave with a bunch of cool tech (he misses Sam and Tucker) and this big family (he misses his mom and his dad and his big sis). He helps the vigilantes there with their battles and writes info he learns from spying on rogues on sticky notes (he misses clockwork) to leave by the files in the batcave. He thinks he’s being slick and stealthy but all the batfam realizes he’s there and basically pspspspspsps him into the family and somehow Danny never catches on

Rise of The Big Four

This started off as a TMNT-Inspired AU and then it just became something else.

Hiccup, Rapunzel, Merida, and Jack Frost are young spirits being trained by North to become Guardians.

For years, the spirits were trained to harness their abilities to protect the children of the world and to work as a team. But before they can become Guardians, they must discover their ‘centers.’ Something North says they can only discover for themselves.

But one day, an enemy from the past decides to strike back; Pitch Black, who abducts The Guardians so he could spread his darkness throughout the world.

In order to save the Guardians, and the world, The Big Four must journey through a large magic- filled labyrinth and confront their worst fears, while also discover if they are truly meant to become Guardians.
